Melanie West
Huskers Restaurant, Then to 1365, South Tara Road

"Thanks Levi, I really haven't been on a date in I dunno maybe five years or so I am excited!" Melanie said happily as she watched Levi going to fill her a glass of beer from the beer tap, she pulled out her wallet and passed over the money to pay for it. She turned her head looking over at Nate a werewolf she didn't know and could easily tell from his scent and simply looked at him and smiled, seeing that he had actually asked Levi out on a date and smiled at him. Melanie quickly noticed that her glass was overflowing now as Levi took Nate's order, and rushed over the counter and shut it off. Finding a clean rag under the counter Mel quickly wiped the spilled beer off of the counter and laughed slightly. "Star struck by him huh?" Mel said jokingly taking her overly filled glass and started to drink from it and went back to sitting at the bar.

Melanie turned around in her stool looking around smelling quiet a few other Occults here one she already knew as her co-worker Clariel though the rest she never seen. Though she remained quiet as she enjoyed her drink, occasionally looking down at her arm where the glass had cut her when Jackson yanked her out of her car it had healed completely though it left a scar.

Melanie finished her beer and set it down on the counter, and then walked over to Levi giving him a pat on the back and smiled at him. "I gotta get going, i'll be back around dinner with my date and my gig here tonight to." Melanie said as she turned around and headed out of Huskers for the second time that day, she did spend a lot of time at her work place.

Melanie took out her car keys looking at her wrecked car and sighed slightly and opened the door and got into the driver's seat putting her keys into the ignition and started to drive down the street and back to her place.

It was a quick drive to her small house Melanie got out of her car and parked it in her usual spot right in front of it, Mel headed inside and closed the door. Melanie started to think about her date with Nefertari and started to think what to wear and find out a way to reduce her own scent knowing that Neffy was a vampire.

Melanie opened her closet searching through her clothes most of them were mainly shirts and jackets as well as jeans, she rarely ever wore any dresses. Eventually finding a black one sleeve dress, and a pair of black strapped high heels. Melanie laid the dress down on her bed and smiled at her choice, Melanie went to take another shower just to lower her werewolf smell.

After a few minutes in the shower Melanie got out, and started to run her blow dryer through her hair putting on some hair spray to give it some more fluff and went to apply her makeup excited for her date.

Levi looked away for what had only seemed like a moment before a hefty amount of alcohol began to pour from the beer tap to the cabinets below, sending Levi into a bit of a panic until Mel had casually turned the tap toward the off position and began to clean the mess.

“Star struck by him huh?" She casually teased, taking a moment to giggle at her own words before departing, “Hey - I gotta get going, I'll be back around dinner with my date and my gig here tonight to.”

“-Oh!” Levi smiled awkwardly, “O-Okay, see you then!”

Levi watched as Mel swayed her hips out the door in a joyous manor, he could tell just how excited she was for tonight – He wondered if he would feel the same if he was in the same position. He must have been caught up in deep thought for a few minutes because every boring conversation and typical mixology seemed like a blur until Nate broke the silence.

"So Mr. Levi, where are ya from?” He looked deep into Levis eyes, “- I am going to say there is no way that you are from around here, it doesn’t sound like you are choking on some sort of honey comb; my instincts tell me your from out of state?"

“Yeah,” Levi sighed deeply, still working to wipe the sticky beer from the floor “-I’m from Aurora, Colorado –moved here a while back.”

Nate seemed to sense that he had hit a sore spot mentioning the past, so he decided to change the subject to something a bit more straight-forward.

"Oh, by the way-“ Nate bit his lip, “How long are you gonna be working?”

“Late.”

“Well, I have this party in the woods tonight and was wondering if you would want to join me; just a simple party."

“I’d love to, but I can’t.” Levi remembered his home life and Jackson’s advances from earlier, there would be no way that he could attend while his father was still a primary influence in his life –at least until his day off, “-I have to take care of my… sick father.”

Nate Caterini - Husker's

Nate usually loved to be correct. He usually was not that much of an arrogant creep but this Levi guy got under his skin for some reason. For some reason, Nate was under the spell of this guy. Nate was positive that this fellow was not an occult because Nate had learned how to spot different occult beings just by how they moved. Vampires were known to strut around the area like the owned the place because most of them did. Witches usually kept their heads down whilst they schemed and plotted their little plans. Nate honestly tried to avoid witches even more than vampires. He had a bad experience with one of them a few years ago and was still unable to look dogs the same way. Werewolves were so rare in the area that Nate had no idea how they usually acted. Nate only really had his uncle to learn about his kind. He guessed that they usually were a gruff bunch. Humans just seemed lost and Levi here was more lost than most.

Usually Nate would have just turned on his pheromones and get this guy. However, Nate did not want to do this to this guy. He almost wanted this guy to like the real Nate and not the strange werewolf powers that came with the territory. Then there was the issue with vampire in the room. For some reason, Eau de Werewolf made vampires really sick. Then that would lead them to figuring out that Nate was not on the juice. Then they might figure out who he was and trying to kill him to finish the job they started all those years before.

"I knew it! You sounded to normal to be from around here. I've never been to Colorado. I hear that it is beautiful. " Nate then looked rather sad. "Aww. It would have been really fun. But family always comes first. I really should know that lesson by now." He said sadly under his breath. Nate then went back to eating so Levi could do whatever he needed to do. Nate looked rather sad now. The memory of his family always seemed to mess with him.

Gale Winchester & Cas Winchester
Huskers Restaurant

~.~

As soon as Samael placed his hand in Cas's, the smile on the demons turned strained before disappearing altogether. Cas's demon aura flared up, only perceptible to other demons and angels; rising to the challenge of another demon infringing on his territory. He dropped Samael's hand like it was a burning coal, narrowed eyes boring into the other demon. At his side, Gale was looking back and forth between his brother and his crush, desperately hoping that Cas wasn't going to start something. He tried not to look too panicked as he didn't want to attract any attention and cause someone to intervene. Gale winced when his brother turned burning blue onto him and gave him a look that clearly spoke of interrogation soon to come. That or Cas was going to rant at him and how bad an idea this was.

"Gale, take a walk outside with me?" It was posed as a question but Cas's eyes clearly said that saying no wasn't an option at this point. "Will you excuse us Sammy? Great, thanks." Before Gale could sputter out how rude Cas was being, the demon had already grabbed the angel by the arm and bodily dragged him from the restaurant.

~.~

Evening had fallen over New Orleans and the chill in the air had increased, causing Gale to shiver as soon as he stepped outside. Cas glanced around at the busy street before nudging Gale into the alleyway beside Husker's, away from prying eyes and listening ears. Gale wrapped his arms around himself as Cas paced back and forth in front of him. The angel didn't have to speak, it was only a matter of time before Cas blew. True to form, Cas whirled on Gale. "What in the hell are you thinking?" He hissed, trying to keep his voice down so as to not attract any attention. "He's a demon Gale, the complete opposite of you. I know what my kind do and they aren't known for being best friends with angels! Do you how dangerous his is to you? What he could do?" Gale sighed and let his arms drop to his side. He knew he needed to calm his brother down before he flew into a rage and couldn't be stopped.

"You don't even know him Cas. What if he isn't like that? Not all demons are cut from the same cloth. Some of them aren't the most terrible thing to walk the planet. You are living proof of that." A pained expression crossed Cas's face. Oh how little Gale knew. Cas never told his brother what he had went through in Hell, what he had to do just to save himself. No, Cas was as bad as the rest of his kind. Cas pushed the painful memories away and took a deep breath. "I want you to stay away from him, he could hurt you." He demanded in his 'nothing you say can change my mind' voice.

He really shouldn't have though because it fanned Gale's own angry and the angel balled his delicate hands into fists, crossing his arms tightly over his chest as he scowled up at his brother. "What about Michael? Did you stay away from him?" In his anger, Gale knew he had struck a low blow but he was just too frustrated to care. He would definitely regret it later though, when has had time to think about his actions.

Cas's eyes dropped to the ground and he seemed to withdraw in on himself. "That's different and you know it." Gale pushed a breath out of his lungs. "You have no say in who I can see Cas. Give Samael a chance like I gave Michael a chance." With that the angel turned and disappeared back inside, leaving Cas leaning against the wall of the alley with his face buried in his hands. "Yeah and look how well that turned out." Cas muttered to the empty air. He rubbed a hand roughly over his face, really wishing he had a cigarette or something but he had run out over the weekend and hadn't bought anymore.

~.~

Gale leaned against the door for a moment, taking a deep breath and collecting himself. He ran a hand through his hair, making it even messier before making his way back over to Samael. He gave the demon a small smile. "Sorry about that. Cas can be a bit...protective sometimes. Anyway, shall we find a seat?" He may be smiling but the look in his eyes said he didn't want to talk about his brother anymore and hoped Samael wouldn't bring him up.

Nefertari & Melanie

3032 Jean-Luc Boulevard

Melanie looked down at her phone from the last text that Nefertari sent her was the address, she looked out the window of her car she managed to get to the right address, letting out a slight sigh she was nervous being on a date after so long. Mel got out of her car and closed the door behind her and started to make her way towards the front door she stood there for a few seconds before ringing the doorbell.

The door opened and there was Nefertari, who smiled. "Hey, glad to see you found it. Also glad that the neighborhood didn't scare you off. Not quite the best, but it is home. Would you like to come in for a moment, or shall we be on our way?" She asked, looking over Mel. Her smile grew a bit wider as she looked at what the singer was wearing. "Very nice."

"Nothing really scares me that much, my house isnt that far from here either." Mel said with a smile and blushed slightly to the compliment. "I havent worn this in a really long time, and I thought it would be nice for our date. I wouldnt mind coming in for a bit." Melanie took a step closer and gave Neffy a gentle hug.

Neffy happily returned the hug and then gestured for Mel to enter. "I think one of my housemates may still be home, but I know Morgan is still at work," she said, and lead Mel to the living room. It seemed a tad dark, but given one of the housemates slight aversion to light it made sense. "May I offer you something to drink?" She asked curiously.

Mel smiled when Neffy returned the hug and took a step inside following Nefertari into the living room and noticed that the room was slightly darker but knew the reason why. She turned to look at Neffy when she mentioned housemates. "How many live here?" She was slightly curious, and started to look around the room. "I wouldnt mind having some water." Melanie said as she walked over and sat down on the couch.

Neffy nodded, and headed to the kitchen. After the sounds of a cabinet door opening, and water pouring, she reappeared with a glass of water and handed it to Mel. "Here you go. And in answer to your question, three of us live here. All girls too," she said and sat down on the couch next to her. "So did you have a pleasant rest of your day?" She asked, seeming rather curious.

Melanie smiled when Nefertari came back with the glass of water and gently took it from Neffy and took a sip from it. "Seems like a lot of people for one house." She sat the glass down on the table next to the couch, and shrugged slightly. "It was alright I guess, I got into an argument with someone. But it's even better now spending the evening with you." She didnt want to really get into the details from what happened with Jackson.

"I'm sorry you got into an argument with someone. May I ask what it was about, or is that too much prying for a first date?" Neffy asked, looking a bit concerned. She looked over Mel, as if examining for wounds or damage. "Also as for it seeming like a lot of people, I don't mind. I like having Morgan and Az as housemates. They keep things interesting," she said with a small chuckel.

"Lets just say we sort of hit our cars earlier, we got into a bit of a heated argument but it's settled now." Melanie rubbed her arm slightly before changing the subject. "I bet they do, I have a house to myself, sometimes I enjoy it though some company is always nice as well. How has your day been?" Melanie asked looking into Neffy's eyes.

"Ouch, road rage. Part of the reason I'm glad I don't have a car. I'm sorry dear, that is never fun," Neffy said then paused. "My day? Well I wouldn't want to bore you with the sorid details of being a mortitian, but well. Some not so good stuff happened earlier, which makes me appreciate being able to spend tonight with you all the more," she said, a smile back on her face.

"No need to apologize, though I wont get my car fixed until I get that check from him and get the money to pay for the damage I did as well." Melanie said as she gently reached out running her hand along Neffy's leg. "If you want to talk about what happened at work, i'm there for you." Melanie smiled softy. "Is there anything you would like to do tonight other then dinner?"

Neffy's cheeks seemed to get a little darker as Mel ran her hand along Neffy's leg. "I wouldn't want to turn tonight into a sad evening. I appreciate the offer, but we can talk about my day at work later. As for tonight, dinner sounds like a great place to start and then we can see where we go from there. Sound fair?"

Mel could see Neffy blush and smiled before pulling her hand away, and nodded. "True I wouldnt want to ruin our date. But if you ever do want to talk im always there." Melanie reached over and started to drink more from the glass of water. "Sounds like a plan, what would you like to talk about?"

"I do have to ask Mel, where are you from? You don't have the drawl here that everyone native does. It took me a while to get use to it," Neffy said with a laugh. "And in resposne to your upcoming question, I'm originally from Cairo. I get asked a lot."

"When I was human I was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, so I guess I have the northern accent. I have some family down here in the south." Melanie answered finishing up her glass of water setting it back down on the table. "I've always wanted to go to Egypt, I never left the country honestly."

"From what I know, it is nothing like the place I lived in while I was still human. I'd love to go back someday, but I have... ties here. I wouldn't just want to up and leave," Neffy said with a small, almost wistful, smile. She looked up at Mel and blinked. "Sorry. Pennsylvania huh? Interesting. I have never been. I never really got around to all the states," she said.

"All I have to say is that the winters are horrible, but the summers are really nice I do want to go back there someday to visit my family I just havent gotten around to it I guess." Melanie said shrugging slightly. "Maybe I can take you up there someday maybe during the summer."

"Provided we get a lot of sunscreen before we go," Neffy said with a laugh and then seemed to blush deeper. "That seems a bit long term. We haven't even technically been on a date yet," she said, looking at Mel, locking eyes with her.

Melanie laughed softly and nodded. "True, still if you ever want to." Melanie said locking eyes with Neffy as well, though she was curious before asking. "Just out of curiousity how did you become a vampire? And you dont have to answer if that is way to personal."

"Ah, that was a long time ago. To answer that, it happened when I was out at the market one night. I was accosted and before I knew it, someone was biting at my neck. When I woke, the man who changed me informed me that he had intended to make just a simple meal of out me, but for some reason, he chose to change me instead. Lonliness perhaps. It does get... lonely being by yourself for centuries on end. What about you? How did you become a werewolf?" Neffy asked, looking at her.

"I dont think I could ever live that long it does seem to be a very lonely life." Melanie said softly brushing some hair away from her face, closing her eyes for a second remembering the night. "It was about five years ago a full moon as well, I was at a campsite with a few of my high school and college friends. We drank a lot and did some drugs, it happened pretty quickly I saw a werewolf tackle and attack everyone of my friends.. The next thing I felt were teeth sinking into my shoulder and then I passed out..." Melanie said pulling down the black shoulder of her dress showing Neffy the scar from the werewolf attack that turned her.

"That's rather brutal. I'm sorry that happened to you," Neffy said, running her hand over the scar. She leaned in and gave the scar a soft kiss as well. "Did... any of your friends... make it?"

Melanie blushed slightly feeling Neffy's hand running along the scar and then the warm kiss on it as well. "Thank you.." Melanie said before pulling the strap back over her shoulder. "Some did, others ended up getting mangled to death."Melanie answered.

"I'm sorry to hear that," Neffy said and leaned back into the couch. "My change didn't leave a mark. It's rather hard to leave a scar on a vampire, except with a few exceptions," she said.

Melanie smiled at Neffy rubbing her shoulder slightly she never told anyone about the attack until now. "I havent told anyone about that night until now, the story was just a pack of wolves attacked the camp." Melanie looked to Neffy. "What sort of exceptions?" Melanie asked.

Neffy paused. "How much do you know about other occults?" She asked curiously, looking at Mel.

Melanie thought about it for a moment she knew more about her own kind more then any other. "Not much really, aside from my own kind I rarely ever communicate with other Occults."

Nefertari paused again. "Well I will say this, anything holy burns like a bitch," she said simply.

Melanie nodded at Neffy and smiled at her. "I'll be sure not to wear a cross or anything holy for you then." Melanie said jokingly. [color-lightgreen]"So what can you tell me about your roomates?"

"Well Az is a private detective, and Morgan works at a candle and incenseshop." Neffy smiled. "Other than that, not much else I'm sure I can say. They do like keeping their secrets, like I do," she said, with a sly smile.

Melanie nodded listening to Neffy as she spoke about her roommates. "They sound like nice people. And I can understand having to keep secrets, I probably have a few but I wont say just yet."

"That is just fine with me. Woman has to have a few, right?" Neffy said with a wink and a giggle. "So, shall we head for dinner soon? As lovely as it is to sit and talk with you, I did promise you food, and you promised me some singing," she said, standing up. She offered her hand to Mel and smiled.

"True we all do have our little secrets we dont want to reveal just yet." Melanie giggled she felt her stomach growl slightly. "I also remember promising you a drink as well." Melanie looked at Neffy's hand she reached out and gently gave Neffy's hand a kiss before pulling herself up.

Nefertari grinned and pulled Mel in close and looked her right in the eye. "Well then, shall we get this date on the road then?" She asked with a small giggle.

Melanie blushed slightly when Neffy pulled her in close, and leaned in to give her a quick kiss on the lips and stared into her eyes. "Ive been looking forward to it all day." Melanie winked at Neffy playfully and started to head towards the front door.

Jackson Jones & Lilith Hathor

Lilith couldn't help but role her eyes. What had Jackson gotten himself into now? A video already on the brink of going viral, being shared on every social networking site imaginable. What had the man been thinking. A fight with a werewolf in freaking public? None the less, the two of them were Co-coven leaders and it was Lil's obligated duty to find out what in the world was going on. Picking up her phone, she would type in Jacksons name and begin to text him.

Jackson mother-fucking Jones. What the hell we're you thinkin' darling? A fight with a were in the middle of the French Querter? Do you realize how many views this thing has gotten already? What did you do?!

Some may think that it was weird to text in full sentences with proper grammar and what-not. Though, Lil was old fashioned in a few ways. The truth was, it left her feeling uneasy by not being proper. She hit the send button, her message going through to the new problem at hand.

Jackson had somehow managed to get back to his car and start it up, even though it was damaged. Jackson could not be seen in a whip like this so instead, he decided to walk over towards Lilith's house. He hope that she hasn't seen that he had became a YouTube sensation just yet but knowing how she likes to browse the web, it was likely that she did see it already. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and was amazed that it was still working after a fight but then again, it did have a life proof case wrapped around it. He saw the text from Lilith and rolled his eyes.

To: Lilith
From: Jackson
You do not understand. I did it for love. Ugh! I'll explain when I reach your house.

Jackson had made sure all of his words were typed correctly and properly as Lilith would not respond, if his messages were poorly typed. He had reached her house and knocked upon her door, waiting for her to answer. When she did answer, she would see the cuts and bruises placed upon his sculptured body and hoped that she does not overreact to the matter.

Well at least he had replied. And with proper grammar too. See, Lilith had taught him something. The though made her smirk until she got to the end of the message. When he reaches my house? For love? Since when has Jack ever loved anyone? Play toys are more like it. she though. And then the answer to her question as three knocks came upon her door. Quickly opening the door of her bedroom, she would more or less jog down the stairs, her black dress flowing freely around her legs. When she got to the front door, she took a quick breath, braced herself for the conversation about to come and opened the door. Of course he was there.

Giving him a glance over she would see that he didn't have his shirt on. A plus. Most likely shredded in the fight with the pup. A minus: Bruises and cuts all over his arms, chest and even a few on his chest. A gasp came from her mouth. Jackson...Come on. Get in this house, preferably now. And start talking why your at it. You owe me quite the explanation, Mister.

Seeing Lilith open up the door made him delighted, a bit. Though, hearing her words made him frown a bit. "Can I at least get a hello?" Jackson said while walking into Lilith's home now and looking it over. "Looks like you did some redecorating." He said while trying to avoid the massive conversation that he needs to have with Lilith. He doesn't want her to get mad at him about fighting a werewolf for the affections of Neffy but knew that he wasn't going to be able to hold it in any longer.

"Mind if I take a shower, first?" He pointed his thumb towards the upstairs while his eyes were locked with hers. "I need to wipe off this werewolf stench before it sticks to me." Jackson didn't even Lilith a chance to answer him before walking off and upstairs, going to her bathroom and starting a shower. He winced in a slight pain as he unclothed himself and jumped right into the shower.

After about ten minutes, he got out and dried himself off but wrapped the towel around his lower frame and walked right back down the stairs. "Okay. I am ready to talk about this but you have to promise me that you will not get mad. Do you promise?" Jackson eyed Lilith and could easily tell when she was lying and telling the truth.

In Lil's opinion, a hello wasn't required in this situation. Didn't Jackson know how much trouble he could have gotten the whole coven in? How much trouble he had already caused. Lilith rolled her eyes. Of course he did. That's what made it so bad. "What else is there to do with an abundance of money," she retorted. And then came the question if he could use her shower. As soon as she opened her mouth to say yes, considering the stench was beginning to go around and about her house, he ran up the stairs more or less. "Yeah, Jack, sure," she yelled after him. "Mi casa es tu casa," she grumbled.

Walking to the kitchen, she would put on a pot of coffee. Sure, it was late in the afternoon, but hopefully the smell of the fresh brew would overpower the smell of the werewolf that Jackson had gracefully allowed into her house. Perhaps she would re-decorate once more. Within 10 minutes Jackson was standing in her living room, nothing but a towel wrapped around his frame. Distracting much? she though to herself.

"Fine. I promise. Speak now or forever hold your peace, Jack."

Lilith's answer wasn't too convincing to him but he just decided to tell her anyway. "You see, I went to see Neffy today at the morgue and I cracked the neck of one of her assistant's, killing her in the process, unfortunately." Jackson chuckled a bit nervously while rubbing the back of his neck with his hand before continuing. "Then I sort of got on Neffy's bad side and smelt the blood of a were on her. Female, to be exact." Jackson eyed Lilith to see if she was getting angered or remaining calm.

"And I approached the female by basically ramming my car into hers and offered a chance to dual with me." He said then bit his bottom lip down afterwards while continuing. "We fought on the streets of the French Quarter then took it privately to an alleyway." Jackson said while sitting down on one of Lilith's couches with a sigh. "I think I won but it ended in a draw, honestly." Jackson admitted while biting his bottom lip, again.

Lilith was trying to stay as calm as possible. But, despite her best efforts, her lips pressed into a thin line, only to soon become pursed. She did, however, listen silently, a barely audible hiss coming from between her lips as she heard the fact of the were's scent being upon Neffy. How could one ever associate themselves with a werewolf? That is if they were in the right state of mind. She continued to listen, nodding here and there.

"Well, despite your best efforts, Jack, it ended up going viral. So congratulations, you're currently getting your fifteen minutes of fame, sugar. Meanwhile... draws simply won't do. You should have snapped the worthless creature's neck when you had the chance to do so." Lilith now silently walked over to her favorite chair in the living room, coming to a stop and sitting down as the next words came out of her lips, almost a whisper. "The.. human that you killed... you don't think that Neffy would... report you, do you? For killing her?"

"I mean, if she does report me, you know where I keep my extra cash. Just bail me out. Maybe they'll put me on parole or something." Jackson chuckled, knowing that this wasn't a laughing matter but to him, it kind of was. "Lilith, you worry too much, sweetheart." Jackson said while standing up now just as she sat down. "Look, let me handle this situation, I do not need to be worried about you out there too." He went back upstairs and changed his clothes in the spare room Lilith had set up for him, just in case anything happened and he needed a hide away for a while.

After about fifteen minutes, Jackson came back down the stairs and winked at Lilith. "I have to go and find that sexy, little boy I was chatting with earlier. But don't worry, he's human." Again, Jackson winked then add the click of his tongue afterwards while heading out of the door.
