Rusty looked down at the man's feet, perplexed by the way the metal flowed from his slab to form strange characters. As the tall being noticed the metal's movement, they re-arranged themselves again, this time in four distinct clusters. Rusty felt as if it was trying to communicate something to him, but whatever it was, the robotic man couldn't decipher it. Still, he couldn't help but wonder what gave this metal such fascinating properties.

Picking up one of the letters, he scanned it, only to be confused by it's normalcy. Not willing to give up, he continued to scan it over and over, before he noticed something. A type of mental lever that, once pulled, changed the color if everything to a strange blue blur. As he looked around, he found his eyes drawn to the letters, which were now glowing. They seemed to be filled with some reserve if energy. Even the tall being and the short being were glowing. It was very confusing, but Rusty filed it away for later, focusing on scanning the energy digs in the letters. It was faint, but he was sure it'd reveal some it's secrets to him. He just had to jerk scanning, but that was difficult as the energy seemed to be in flux for some reason, making any readings hard to ascertain.

Jessie
@hatakekuro

Jessie just poked her tongue out at Ferris when he warned her of payback, and smiled once more, giving him a wink, as she turned to look at the council members gathering again. "Well, one thing is for certain! This lot is impressive! And certainly it will take some pressure of the guilds, particularly those in this competition! And here comes Dochas! She may look cute and small, but she packs a punch! Being cute and small myself, I can say that you shouldn't judge a package by its size!" She gave a giggle, and just for the hell of it, reached over to poke Ferris in the side, before appearing excited, and leaning against the mic stand, "OH OH OH! It's my big brother, Drew! He's such the sweetest guy! But I tell you, I don't know how he got onto the magic council!" She gave another laugh, letting herself just enjoy it all.

She knew full well that the only thing Ferris and herself had done last night was fumble around like a couple of horny teenagers, not getting much further then halfway undress each other, before drunken stupor came in. Still, it was fun to leave Ferris wondering a while, besides which, it had been a fun night, something Jessie needed. She'd tell him. One day.

"Such a good start to the day, hopefully the rest of the day can live up to the hype! And it's Lady Sayatachi Nijiko next! Boy, the only thing that can be said about her is that she is certainly very colourful!"

Carrie
@demous@Leslie Hall
Carrie looked up at Masahiko when he laid a hand on her shoulder. "What was I going to do? Just walk away? That isn't possible. I don't know if I belong here, but...I made a mistake, and I'm going to fix it" She said to him, as she gave Vera a gentle nudge forward. "I'll go with you, if you want Vera"

Penny
@zarkun
"very much so" Penny replied, with a smile. There were some things in her life that she knew she would be forever grateful for. She knew that for the last several years, all she had been doing was...coasting. "Did you?"

@Amaya Yashia @Zarkun

Joshua frowned at Amaya's reaction but said nothing as he made his way to the arena with the rest of his guild. When it turned out that the new Council members were to be introduce, he drowned the whole thing out with his thoughts. Amaya's reaction was a concerning one. He had never seen her act violently towards any sign of concern before. Usually she wouldn't gently told him she was fine and to let her be. But this time she had slapped his hand away and spoken in a much harsher manner then usual. So something was definitely bothering her. Normally it wouldn't concern him but Amaya was a good friend so he wanted to help her through whatever was bothering her. He would help her between events, if he was involved in any today. He had yet to fight or be a part of a regular event, so there was always a possibility. Sighing as the introductions of the new council went on, he couldn't help but mutter the first thing to come to mind.
"Get on with it already. Damn, they're just a bunch of letter pushers."

Karn || Streets of Crocus

Karn continued walking, his emerald gaze glancing at the others. More so Trinity as she seemed to be watching him. As discreetly as possible, but it wasn't too hard to tell what she was doing. It would be smarter to act like everything was fine, put on a face and act how Karn usually acted, but the blonde didn't feel like acting. Course that meant it didn't take long to catch some suspicion from Jarvis and Trinity. If Jarvis was like the other one, he'll probably guess some key points. Though is probably waiting for direct reason and proof for the situation. But he'll probably come out and try drawing information out of Karn if he gets too worried. He probably should.

Some of the other Guild members chattered about. Damian was one, apparently leading the way. In this world, he must be one of upper level classes. Peachy. By what memories there were, he wasn't one that would be likeable to socialize with. Sasha could be heard but the blonde didn't bother looking at her and just continued examining his surroundings. Deciding to ignore Trinity's watchful eyes and the general chatter.

"They are quite annoying eh? How funny, how hypocritical! It is quite too bad, you won't get the same treatment they were given on their little visit eh? A familiar voice spoke out, making Karn give a mental sigh, his eyes looking straight ahead. Deciding to just ignore it. Seemed like his previous symptoms were still around. Peachy.

"Hey. It isn't nice to ignore people ya know?" Another familiar voice uttered. Karn glanced to his right, seeing the Viper and Hotrod, waving innocently. Of course they weren't really there. They were just fabrications of his subconscious.

He couldn't help but wonder if they had similar medicine here in this world. Ignoring as the two hallucinations gave a rattled 'awes' as he continued to ignore their voices, he just kept walking. Taking mental pictures.

Prince || Dragon Fang Hotel

@Caits

Prince chuckled in mild amusement, his smile never fading as he listened to Michael. "Charm Wizards you've met are most likely human. They don't prey on the same thing. If I started eating healthy... well, I'd have to legitimately hunt for it. And you and your spirits were vulnerable... that wouldn't go well." he gave a sing song tune before humming more.

"No you make sense. But it is quite apparent when you irritate Lady Fate. It's just rare. Or maybe it's just really bad luck on the ill-fortune soul? Who can say?" he purred before stretching his arms a little.

"So, want to head to the arena to watch the tournament?" The tall feline asked.

Trinity Stratos

While she hid amongst her guild, Trinity had time to think about all this. They each had counterparts in Edolas, right? And from the stories she'd heard from the other members, her Edolas version of herself and of Karn were close. If Karn was talking about her Edolas self like that, then... Where was Sasha? Trinity fell to the back of the group, scanning the guild for one in particular, before she'd hear someone coming from behind. She turned and saw Sasha approaching, stopping to wait for her to catch up before walking with her. "There you are. Uh, question. You remember your trip to Edolas, right? What was my Edolas version like?"

Drow

@hatakekuro

The sun shined bright on the long blonde hairs of the girl named Drow. She had a paper bag filled with melon bread and also had one of the melon breads in her mouth as she tudded down the street. Her food was slowly being devoured as something caught her eyes. A kitty was peacefully walking around on the streets. Drow stopped for a moment as her eyes followed the kitty. Soon she found out she wasn't just looking at the kitty but also following the small creature. She innocently nibbled her bread as the kitty sped up her pace as to escape the blonde girl. It ran past a certain somebody called Nolan and escaped inside of the building. Drow followed and bumped into the individual called Nolan. Her body was bounched backwards and the bread was spread across the street. She gasped for a moment and rubbed her hurted butt with one of her hands. Her eyes trailed upwards towards Nolan and focused on him for the whole time. She still had a blank look on her face as she got up again and apologised with her soft glass voice "Very sorry." Her eyes trailed over towards the paper bag that was completly empty now and towards the breads. Pigeons had started to gather around the breads and slowly escaped with many of the breads. A dissatisfied beaten look rose upon Drow her face as her breads were taken away.

Fleo Plector – Phoenix Wing

@Leslie Hall@Caits@Lmpkio@Demous

A raised eyebrow greeted Isabella's mention of dancing. Fleo assumed that it was one of the girl's quirks, as many of her guildmates proved to have. On the subject, the dusty woman didn't really relish the idea of 'competing' with S-class wizards. Among her short hierarchy of priorities in her life, Fleo maintained 'not getting the snot beat out of her' as high on the list. Simply put, she just didn't understand the competitive mindset among mages. Pain, loss, anger, and resentment struck her as a less than acceptable flipside to that seemingly all-important idea of getting stronger. Why not just enjoy the gift of magic, and the beauty of the world and its people? Fleo wanted to know, but she did not ask.

Instead, she gave a forgiving shrug and smile combo to the newcomer. ”No problem! We're all friends here.” Her attention then turned to Sasha. As comradely as Fleo was with the Ice make sorceress, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy looking at her. Sasha seemed to have everything: power, a boyfriend, long and beautiful hair, all her limbs, and height. Plus, she sported a very strong brand of magic, a whole slew of admirable personality traits, and all in seven years less than Fleo. Of course, the dusty woman allowed no trace of any negative emotion to show on her face as she said, ”We're heading off that soon? Don't let me hold you back! I bet there will be plenty of breakfast vendors at the Doma Flau.” She grew quiet, more or less happy to just stand and listen, but made sure to give a friendly wave to Marlene, Samir, and Sayuri when they arrived. ”Hiya! Are ya excited for day number three, or what? I know I am!”

Before long, the entire slew of Phoenix Wingers were off, arriving at the arena in what seemed like moments, just in time to get introduced to the new members of the magic council. Fleo allowed herself a chuckle to see the new personalities, though she didn't know if this kind of event befitted an organization of such stature.

Cormorant Sanders – Frenzy Plant Camp

@Oblivion666@liferusher@invisible man@Caits@hatakekuro

As luck would have it, a glob of warm oatmeal landed precisely within Sander's outstretched bowl, so perfectly that not a droplet eked over the brim. Seating himself near enough to the commotion so as to be involved in the general hubbub of the morning's duties, but not so near that he lay within flying oatmeal range, Sanders settled in to eat. No amount of experience, wisdom, or power prevented a man from having to eat, and while the vast appetite of his youth had shrunken over the years, Sanders did enjoy indulging in gruel every now and again. Human needs aside, the act also allowed the soldiers to see their General, and to realize that the man to whom they swore their services, despite his frequently cold demeanor, was just a man, after all. Long ago, Sanders observed that no person, enlisted or otherwise, could grow fond of a megaphone. While he lacked an overt gift for charisma, he often wished that he could be more of the inspiring, charismatic leader than the brilliant but impersonal tactician that formed the bulk of his reputation.

He looked up from his meal when Magni approached. Unbidden, his mind raced to pull out the soldier's imaginary folder, leafing through it with fingers of thought for details and history. Admitted two months ago, he attained C-rank by defeating Vergil Marowit, and did not aspire higher. He keeps to himself, quiet and grim but respectful and well-disciplined by nature. Though he is linked to the first attack on camp yesterday, his services were instrumental in resolving the second, though the body of the Hanged Man was not recovered. With dark, deep eyes, like murky pools in which all manner of knowledge and power could very well lie, he greeted the anti-mage. ”You may. Tell Corporal Putcher that I gave you permission, and she'll come in with you to keep guard. I would be surprised if she didn't have smelling-salts to awaken the prisoner. Please do not do anything that would compromise this Rune; we have high hopes for...'convincing' him to join Frenzy Plant's cause.” With nothing further to say, Sanders placed another spoonful of oatmeal inside his mouth, relishing the texture with obvious joy. Not often did Sanders' 'kindly old man' side appear. ”Mm-mm! Demetri's breakfast always hits the spot.”

Fifteen minutes later, the time had come. Zander appeared and sounded the assembly bugle for all Frenzy Plant's members to gather in the central area. Once the majority had appeared, Sanders raised his hands for attention. ”Day three of the games is here, comrades, and it is time to begin moving toward the colosseum. In light of recent events, however, we're going to be leaving a few people behind. Thor and Magni, due to your lingering wounds and the level of interest you've been displaying in the games, it seems best if you would remain behind. Lieutenants Bolganone and Fortinbras, and Corporals Putcher and Whately, and Privates Wuiwomi and Graham, you will stay behind as well. I regret to deprive you of some fun, but we need our base guarded and some other duties performed. Thank you for your understanding. As for the rest of you, let us go!”

Frenzy Plant set off without delay, its members hustling in orderly lines up the streets of Crocus toward the principle locale of the Grand Magic Games. After arriving, they found themselves to be just a little early, and took their time getting their seats. With a surprising speed, the stadium filled up, and the day began with some important new faces. ”New council members...?” How strange to do something like this, as if the members of the Magic Council were celebrities instead of politicians.

X – Wheel of Fortune

@Burthstone

A dark and uncomfortable night passed, but if anything could bear unpleasant situations, it was the supernatural Mystic Beasts. As the hours ticked by, restorative energies seeped through their bodies, repairing wounds and counteracting needs for food and drink. This invigorating magic power, otherwise known as mana, stemmed from nothing less than the artifacts that governed the Beasts' existence: their Mystic Fate Tarot Cards. Mollusk-hatted Lockheart, every the pragmatist, stored hers in a secret pocket on the inside of her shirt. Meanwhile, Lakota opted for a simpler but more effective method: her card lay in the possession of the human to which she was bound, who in her previous life had been her brother. This man was, in fact, in Crocus, and not far at all from the hotel at which Iron Enigma sheltered, so that the Sun need never be deprived of her power source.

Then, the ruckus started. Lockheart listened, not interested but not totally bored by the voices and unique noises from upstairs, but when at last her hosts saw fit to turn up, she turned to face them. With her disguise as a human blown for the members of the Dark Guild at least, Lockheart saw no reason to continue concealing herself, and had unbuttoned her rumpled red shirt. Beneath it, no human skin could be found; instead she sported the sleek, orange, rubbery flesh of a cephalopod, complete with mottled, brownish, spiny ridges in places. This act seemed less immodest when it became obvious that Lockheart, in her inhumanity, lacked certain anatomical features that characterized the torsos of human women. Reclining in her chair with one leg crossed, she gave the newcomers a disdainful look, but listened to what they had to say. Afterward, she replied, “We wanted to get at the guild master. It's...personal. You may have noticed, but we're not quite normal.” She indicated herself and Lakota ruefully, who looked on with a brutish glare. “Gregory Vale has done something unforgivable, and we want to meet him. I'm sure your master is a busy one, but it doesn't have to be today. In fact, in just a few days, a friend of mine will deliver evidence that will prove Vale's guilt beyond the shadow of a doubt. Then, would be the best time to meet.”

Nero the Genie – Riverside Greenbelt

@liferusher@invisible man

As charming as the pleasant view and far more pleasant thoughts were, Nero supposed after a total of fifteen minutes spent relaxing by the riverside that he ought to go and start doing things for the day. After making sure that his every position returned to his pouch, the Genie set off, walking until he emerged from the greenbelt and strolled in the direction of the Dragon Fang hotel. On the way, he stopped by the spot he remember Ayame to be saying, and prodded her awake. "Rise and shine, kiddo! We're off to meet Eve for another day of fun. Perhaps we'll even visit the arena. Now that Eve's not a depressed wallflower anymore, she might even enjoy it. C'mon!"

Minutes later, the journey resumed. On the way, as he crossed the cobblestone streets, grinned at the normal people, and appreciated the City of Flowers' decor, he noted how glad he was that his little companion ultimately rejected the wish she came up with. Change suited some people, but most definitely did not suit others, and despite the fundamental goodness of Ayame's intentions, her methodology placed her in that second category. While thinking about his charge, Nero pondered Ayame's relationship to Eve. Of course, they got along well enough, much like how Ayame got along with Nero, but the Genie could swear some other emotional undertone characterized the pair. Then again, he could swear that he always granted wishes with the most benign of intentions; it did not make him right.

The Dragon Fang hotel came into view, prompting a relieved sigh from Nero, for whom yesterday's experience of getting lost still ringed with embarrassment. Hoping rather desperately that he might avoid the displeasure of seeing Time Lord, Michael, or Gabriel again, the Genie knocked on the door.

Lazarus

He nodded at Bullet, who was going after Mayt. Lazarus had always resented Mayt, seeing as he had defeated him pretty simply in the S class battle, yet he was still only A class. "We'll have to rough and tumble again some time Bullet. You better have improved since last time and give me something to think about!" Although he chuckled, he was being dead serious. He had known the two returnees for a long time, longer than Sasha in fact. They had been members before he joined. He listened to Damien and sighed. "Already? eugh fine..." He trudged out and made his way to the arena with his team members, for the unveiling of the new council members.

Shujin

He was at the arena early as possible, the same as most days. Hmm maybe I was a little harsh on the new member... Oh well, it can't be helped. He focused on the new council members being presented. He narrowed his eyes at each and every one of them. He knew that with this much power, any amount of corruption would cause utter destruction to the magical world.

Mayt Derrin Marris --- Phoenix Wing Hotel
Mayt smiled a bit at Sasha as she left, before turning to look at Bullet, who looked far more excited than he figured the next few weeks were going to be. After wetting his lips, the S-Class wizard would offer him a nod and a smile as well. "Requip magic is always useful. I use Energy Control magic." He'd lift his hand up, and hold it palm up and his fingers half curled. "Amplify: Heat" Flame would erupt in the middle of his hand. It would be a fairly cool fire, most of it being invisible, with only the tongues of the flames being visible. After a moment it would go out and Mayt would lower his hand, the demonstration over. "It has drawbacks however. The more I use it the more my magic power becomes tied to my life force, so if I do too much at once I tend to pass out." Glancing around one last time, Mayt would stand up, rising to his full 5'9" height, and he'd run a hand through his dirty hair.

"Anyway, since you want to go... Meet me here at about one-ish this afternoon. I need a shower and a solid meal before we head out, and it'd give you some time to decide not to go. I'd bring some changes of clothes, and maybe some snacks, cus if you're coming we're going to be out and about for quite a while. As for right now, go hang out with the guild and have fun." As he said this, Mayt would take off his half-fingered gloves and stretch his hands a bit. The emerald green Phoenix Wing mark on the back of his right hand would certainly confirm his affiliations. "I need to get new gloves." He'd murmur to himself as he started back towards the stairs to head back to his room to clean himself up some.

@Leslie Hall
Mithera -- Hotel Room
Mithera looked at her short spoken companion, and glanced back at the window nervously. "Uh, about twelve to thirteen pounds would be best. I probably won't eat all of it, but it's better to have an excess then not enough." She would stare Valak for a moment before jumping down to the floor like a cat and walking over towards the bathroom. "Be quick about it please. I don't want to be alone for very long, especially with Iron Enigma still after me." She'd give him a puppy-dog-eye look, before heading into the bathroom, and one would shortly hear the sink turn on as she began to work towards bathing herself again, likely planning on using the hand soap.

@Crimson Raven
Iron Enigma Basemetn
Grant would smile as he listened to the Mollusk woman, nodding, as if in understanding. Once she finished speaking he would glance at his escort before speaking. "Which unforgivable thing are you referencing specifically? Also, you sure it wasn't me? Since I'm pretty sure you're referencing some murder, I've committed more of those than my father by far, and I also happen to be a Vale." Chuckling softly, Grant would look at Lakota. "Anyway, assuming you are after the right Vale, while I'm sure whatever evidence you have is quite incriminating, what are you hoping to accomplish with it? Getting us thrown out of the games?" The last question would be the first serious thing the Vale boy would've said, the rest of it been in his normal cocky, slightly Ironic, voice.

Damian smiles and nods. "How could I not? Being out on dinner with the most beautiful girl I know?" He took his seat at the Stadium as the Council members walked out and Damian sighed. Leaning over to Penny, he chuckles. "Here's hoping that we don't have a round two with the Council, eh?"

Time Lord
@Crimson Raven

Time lord sighed, wondering why he tried to deal with people. "My name is time Lord, not Tim. I'd appreciate it if you called me Time Lord" He said wearily, reluctantly shaking Ferrin's hand. "You seem to get off on the wrong foot with a lot of people" he said musingly "Perhaps that's a personality trait you should fix"

Michael
@Silver Fox

Michael knew that Prince fed on magic, but didn't see why that should stop him. With sources who undestood, wouldn't Prince be able to maintain a balance of good strength, a healthy diet and live sources. But Michael didn't say anything else on it, for now. "The prospect of fate just seems...ridiculos to me. It's like...if somethings meant to be, why do we have free choice?" He said, but nodded, "Alright. knowing my luck Zephyr would be in the event and I'd miss it if I wasn't there. So lets go"

Sasha
@CirusArvennicus

As Trinity asked about her edolas self, Sasha was a little surprised at that, but supposed it was only natural to be curious. "Ah. Well. I didn't spend much time with all of our edolas versions. But I don't think she was too different from you. Is this about Karn?" She asked quickly, quietly. "About him not being well? His edolas version wasn't well, and I never did see her after we helped out the queen. But...Edo-Karn, she was...kinda a piece of work. Nothing like our karn and..." She bit her lip, wondering if she should continue, as she finished off her sandwich, wiped her hands on a napkin. "And just the look Karn gave me before reminded me of her"

Penny
@Zarkun

Penny smiled at the statement, finding herself quite...well, thrilled with it. As he commented ont he council, she said "As long as they keep clean, we shouldn't have a problem. Masahiko seems to have made a good council though. How many are there?" She said as they just seemed to keep on coming.

Gabriel
@lugubrious

As things seemed to get going for the day and the General joined them to eat, Gabriel had an internal conversation with himself. [i]Do it. Do it now. go on, you coward. Do it! Go up to him!{/i] as this went on for a number of minutes, Gabriel just sat there, staring at nothing. But he didn't, and he sighed, as they made their way to the games.

He trailed behind the others, Gabriel grumbled internally about himself, annoyed and frustrated that he hadn't done anything, said anything. And he still wasn't. He was just following along behind everyone, just...like a sheep.

He sighed to himself, and followed everyone to the stands. But suddenly he stopped. just do it "General? I want to go back to camp. I want to help"

Collab between Joshua, Amaya, and myself (Rose, Elyse, Amelia, Jamie and Sam)

Amelia stirred in her sleep as she sat up, looking around. She wasn't in her room and it took her a few seconds to remember she was in Jarvis' room. As she looked around, she noticed someone next to her, a little girl, about half her age. Groaning, she thought back on last night. She had come into the room with Jarvis, fallen asleep, woken up to find Jarvis and Jamie in the middle of a family reunion and... gotten adopted, more or less. And the girl next to her was her new sister.

In Rose's room Elyse had woken up and was literally jumping on the bed.
"Mommy, wake up, wake up!" The four year old shouted happily.

Sam stirred at the groan, the movement, reaching up to rub her eyes, and wriggle slightly, as if to fall asleep again. But she sighed, and sat up, blinking and looking around. She was in a shirt much to large for her, it hanging off her, and tangling herself up in it as she moved, she gave a small cry of distress before managing to wriggle and untangle herself.

"mama? Papa?" when there was no answer, Sam just blinked, but didn't seem in any particular stress. Instead, she looked to Amelia and smiled brightly, and showed a gap in her teeth, from perhaps her first lost tooth. "hi hi hi"

She reached out to hug Amelia happily

Rose mumbled some in her sleep as she lazily opened one eye seeing the four year old jumping "Alright, Alright, I'm up! I'm up...how about you go pick out an outfit for mommy to wear today my dear daughter."She said sitting up with a yawn scratching her bed head

Amelia watched Sam as the younger girl got up and called for Jamie and Jarvis before looking back at her. When Sam hugged her, Amelia awkwardly hugged her new little sister back.
"Uh... hello." She said

"Mommy awake!" Elyse shouted happily, jumping and then sitting on the bed with a laugh, either ignoring or not hearing what her mother said

Rose got up helping elyse down before yawning before saying "Elyse how about you pick out my outfit today? whichever one you want."she said gently

Sam smiled and planted a kiss on Amelia's cheek before managing to climb out the bed. It became more evident that the shirt she was wearing was too big, piling on the floor beneath her. The little girl frowned and put her hands on her hips, staring down at the floor, clearly wondering what she was going to do about this. She looked up, at Amelia as if the older girl would have all the answers "it's too big. Can we make it smaller?"

"Uh... no we can't. My magic doesn't effect the size of things. But you should cover yourself up with something. Maybe they have towels somewhere in here. Or maybe there will be a shirt closer to your size in my room." Amelia said, thinking before summoning Ellis. "Mama, can you grab the smallest shirt from my room that you can find?"

"Of course." Ellis said before leaving

Elyse got out of bed and went to where her mother kept her cloths and began making a mess as she looked through them.

Rose took a shower and got herself mentally prepared for the day as she knew if Elyse woke up before then boy was this day going to turnout interesting for her. If any mother knows always be prepared for whatever will happen. she sat on the bed in a towel waiting for elyse to pick out something

Sam smiled happily, and began to shuffle through the room, poking into everything, playing with the lacrima on the desk, squealing with delight when it showed a view of crocus, the sun still rising. She poked at books and things, exploring the room with all the interest a six year old could muster, being careful not to trip, before returning to Amelia. "pretty" she said, reaching up for another hug

"What's pretty?" Amelia asked, tilting her head in confusion as she helped Sam back onto the bed.

"Dis one!" Elyse said as she held up Rose's favorite black dress, which was also Elyse's favorite

Sam wriggled happily, but still seemed perplexed by the long shirt as she settled back on the bed "you" she replied with a happy grin, letting herself lean against Amelia, careful of the other girls wings "so pretty"

"ah good choice my sweet little girl, what shoes should I wear or would you like to do my hair?" asked rose trying to include Elyse in her daily routine as much as she ccould. Rose slipped on the dress using her shadow to zip up the back as she adjusted her skirt and made sure it fit where it needed as she smiled

"I'm not pretty. I'm just average at best." Amelia said.

"I don't know." Elyse said, looking at all the cloths surrounding her.

Sam shook her head, shifting so she was on her knees, "prettier than average. So pretty, like a faerie!" the little girl smiled, "pretty pretty pretty!" she looked at Amelia with wide blue eyes, and a happy smile

"Hm" said rose as her shadows moved putting their room back in order as she found some comfortable heels. She brushed her raven black hair "now did you find a cute outfit today to wear?"she asked elyse

Amelia smiled and shook her head as Ellis came into the room, carrying a plain white T-shirt.
"Sammy, can you help me out this on you?" The spirit asked.

"Mommy choose." Elyse said.

Sam looked over when Ellis appeared again, and figuring her for an adult with power said "she doesn't believe she's pretty!" as she clambered off the bed, raising her arms for the new shirt, not sure if she could even get the too big shirt off

"Alright how about your favorite blue one with the fish?" asked rose picking out a outfit as she put else's hair in pigtails " how's that?"she asked with a smile

"Amelia does have that problem. Maybe your Mommy and Daddy can help though." Ellis said, helping Sam out of the giant shirt and into Amelia's smaller but still slightly big shirt. After adjusting it so that it wouldn't fall off, she turned to Amelia and friends. "I'll go grab you an outfit. If I run into Jamie or Jarvis, I'll let them know you're up."

With that the spirit fog up and left.

"Wike!" The little girl said excitedly.

Legs free, Sam ran unhindered through the room, happily clambering on the desk chair to toy with the lacrima again. Touching it just slightly, she managed to make a tune flow, just a few harmouros notes, before it flashed back to Crocus. She climbed off the Chair, and ran about as if unsure what to do now. She looked to Amelia, standing there appearing a little lost

"I just knew you would my little sunshine..Now shall we head down stairs to get some breakfast and see what everyone is doing..Maybe we'll go check on daddy and Sparkle lady." Rose replied lifting her daughter up into her arms as she made sure they weren't forgetting anything before she left and locked the door behind them.

"What's wrong?" Amelia asked.

Elyse laughed and let out a squeal of joy as Rose carried her out of their room.

Sam blinked, "I can't open the door, and I'm suppose to brush my teeth and clean up before breakfast" the little girl seemed perplexed, at a loss, as she stared at the door o the bathroom, the handle just slightly out of reach.

As Rose and Elyse came out, Jamie smiled brightly "Rose, and my little Elyse! Did you hear my announcement?"

"that you are a girl cause I heard daimen hit the floor with a thud and the noise but nothing else." She said tilting her head some scratching her ear as she adjusted Elyse in her arms

"I don't think you should leave yet. You should wait for... mama and papa." Amelia said, hesitant to call Jamie the same thing she called Ellis.

"Jamie happy?" Elyse asked.

"not leaving! Bathrooms connected!" Sam said, frowning slightly as she went back to Amela, "is something wrong?" she asked worriedly

Jamie nodded to Elyse, and smiled "ah. Well. You missed a bit. You missed about Sam" Jamie said "here, let's go to
My room"

"Alright, Lets go follow Jamie Elyse...She might have a suprise for you."Said rose sitting Elyse down as she followed Jamie

"Nothing you need to worry about Sam." Amelia said, forcing a smile on her face to try and calm the little girl.

"Okay!" Elyse shouted happily, running around the halls but staying close to Jamie and Rose.

Sam frowned and then just hugged Amelia once more, as tight as she could

Jamie smiled, and watched Elyse, knowing that Rose would be watching her but just unable to help herself. She opened the door to the room, seeing both Amelia and Sam awake.

"Mama!" San cried happily, clambering off the bed and flinging herself at Jamie, who caught her. "you haven't been trouble for Amelia, have you?"

Sam shook her head fast, "Na-uh. She doesn't think she's pretty"

"oh well, we will just have to make sure she does, won't we?" Jamie smiled at Amelia, then looked to Rose and Elyse. "this is Rose and Elyse, Sammy."

Sam watched Elyse curiously, having never really had any interactions with another child before, and she smiled at the other girl brightly, "hi, hi, hi!"

"She's been good. Good morning Miss Yashia." Amelia said.

"Who dis?" Elyse asked curiously. She also had little interaction with children her age.

"That is Sam, she is Jamie's daughter. Sam this is my little girl Elyse."rose said with a smile wanting to see what Elyse thought as she crouched down holding out her hand "I heard ggreat things about you Sam...it is nice to finally get to meet you, I am also part of the guild your mother built."Said Rose sweetly

Sam tilted her head, at the offered hand, before reaching out, almost shyly, touching the adults hand, before turning to the child. Recognizing Elyse for perhaps younger then her, smaller, Sam stepped forward to hug her, offering out her arms, smiling

Jamie watched the interaction, noticing, perhaps rightfully, that Amelia had seen to something, if not quite right, more suitable then the shirt Sam had been in before. Still, they'd have to go shopping.

"well, what do you say to a girls day out? Sam needs new clothes, and wouldn't it be nice to see crocus? If you're in the event Rose, I can watch Elyse" Jamie said, "until then, we can shop" the prospect excited Jamie, who had never had anything close to a girls day out.

Elyse's reaction to Sam offering a hug was to immediately hide behind Rose, the younger girl being slot shyer.

"Can I come along?" Amelia asked, the thought that she was automatically invited not occuring to her.

Jamie smiled at Amelia, "why of course! Girls day out means girls don't have to ask to come! And you're always included!" Jamie said cheerfully

Sam huffed. She slowly approached Elyse, trying with a child like kindness to not be threatening, as if she were trying to catch a kitten. "I'm Samantha!" she seemed proud to say her name and she smiled at Elyse, and took a step closer, "pretty"

"I'm sorry Elyse gets shy around new people, Elyse...Can you say Hi to Samatha?" Said Rose as she smiled "That's Fine with me we didn't have anything planned today." Rose replied to Jamie

"Hi." Elyse said before moving away again.

"Oh. Okay." Amelia said before Ellis entered the room. The spirit gave everyone a smile before placing a small pile of cloths on the bed before giving Amelia a hug and returning to the locket Amelia always wore

Sam frowned, wondering if this was normal of other kids. Getting an idea, she returned to the desk, and reaching just managed to roll the lacrima there to her. She returned to Elyse, holding it out as it played a few notes.

"when you're all ready, let us know and we can go!" Jamie said, knowing that Jarvis could deal with anything happening in the guild, for a few hours

"I'll uh... just change in there... Should I take a shower or anything first?" Amelia asked

Elyse, meanwhile, moved out from behind Rose and closer to Sam, curious about the musical lacrima.

"if you'd like, take all the time you'd like" Jamie said

Sam smiled and moved a finger over the lacrima, the tune changing, and holding it out for Elyse to try

Amelia looked at Sam and Elyse before shaking her head.
"I'll do without one." She said before going to the bathroom to change. When she came out, she was wearing a plain blue t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and sandals on her feet. Her wings were hidden under her shirt and her locket was in plain view. "Ready to go."

Elyse poked the lacrima curiously, laughing a bit as it made a sound and she began poking it continuously.

Each time Elyse poked at it, the lacrima changed its tune, and Sam clapped, thrilled.

When Amelia came out, Jamie said "excellent! Are you all ready to start out?"

"We are ready only thing we haven't done is eat"Rose said adjusting her hair over her shoulder

"Well, we can get some breakfast! There's this cute little place down the road," Jamie said, reaching to gently take the lacrima, and set it aside, as it showed the arena, and the magic council members beginning to be introduced. Recognising Janice, jamie chuckled, and smiled at the others, "Shall we go then?"

"If we're going to grab breakfast, we should grab Sam some proper cloths first. Some places might not let us in if she's only dressed in a shirt. Or, we could eat here, were we're less likely to be denied." Amelia said.

Elyse pouted as the lacrima was taken away and she immediately went to go get the entertaining orb back.

Sam looked up at her name, after climbing onto the desk chair in chase if the lacrima as well. "food food food!" she cried out, smiling, and holding out a hand to Elyse, as if to help her up

"well then we will go downstairs and eat"

"I wonder if Sam would fit one of Elyse's dresses"said rose listening to the suggestions where they should eat. She left the room to return with a simple yellow dress"I think this might fit better?"she asked

color=f26522]"thank you!"
Jamie said, accepting the dress, she turned to Sam, listening to the announcer through the lacrima as the magic council continued to be introduced.

After changing into the Dress, they were ready to go. "the cute little shop then?" Jamie said taking Sam's hand

"That mine!" Elyse complained upon seeing Sam in her dress, not comprehending that the older girl needed it.

"I'm ready to go when you are." Amelia said

"I know, you can have it back later!" Sam promised the younger girl, with a smile. "I'll make sure of it" she added

Jamie smiled at Amelia, "then let's go" Jamie said, opening the door once more

"She is just borrowing it so she can go get her own then you will get it back or I can buy you another" said rose gently to her daughter as she picked elyse on to her shoulders "we are ready when you are"she said with a smile

Elyse pouted until her mother picked her up and put her on her shoulders, at which point the little girl let out a laugh.

Amelia smiled, though there was a hint of sadness to it, as she followed everyone out.

Jamie followed the others out, shutting the door behind them, making sure it was locked, letting Sam run off ahead, and watching as the girl grabbed Amelia's hand. Jamie checked the door, and followed everyone down stairs, noting that the teams at least had made their way to the arena.

Jamie led the way to a small food place, that appeared inviting and welcoming

@Zarkun
Cody hesitated as he went to knock on James door, was he sure he was at the right one? He had gotten directions from another guild member, but he might've taken a wrong turn?
He tightened his grip on the sword covered in cloth in his hands. He had managed to buy a sword which he felt would suit him, along with a few other magic items, but had used most of his savings to do so.
Now all he had to do was as Jamie said, ask one of the sword users for advice. Of course since he had just joined he didn't know many of them, he had heard of Damien but was too nervous to go and ask someone of his importance to take time out of the games for him so he would have to ask James.
He steeled himself before knocking lightly on the door, and just in case he had done it too lightly he knocked again. This time a little louder.

Janna slowly made her way through the streets as she walked towards the Grand Magic Games stadium. She was waiting for that event to begin in quite a while now, but for her bad luck she missed the opening day. How in the bloody earth did her train break down before they reach town was unknown to her. She didn't want to wait so she tried to walk to this place and she got lost as usual. She seriously had no idea how she can get lost considering she was able to see the town in the distance, but anyways. She was here now and she was not going to miss it this time, but first she was going to grab something to eat. There were all sorts of foodstalls all around the place. She decided to go to one, and from there she went to get something to drink... and just some windowshopping and before she knew it..." Time to get back on track to the sta..di..um..." She turned away from the big windows of the shops, just to find she had strayed quite away from the road leading directly to the stadium."Bugger..."

Jane Addeson|Jane's Reckoning

As she crashed through the window, startling the store owner and her help, three things ran through Jane's mind. The first was who were these guys, the second was how did he do that, and the third was what the hell had she done to them. The screams of surprise helped keep her focus on minimizing damage to the store and others, so as the man who could make his armor super sized on a whim came after her, she leaped back out the window, requiping her armor as she went, and ran down a side street, weaving in and out of them to try and loose her persuers.

Her luck, however, wasn't that strong and an arrow glanced off her pauldron, causing her to draw the hilt and activate her magic, the silver energy blade snap-hissing (yes like a lightsaber) to life in time for her to deflect the next arrow and the next. Looking around while keeping her guard up, she spotted the archer as he loosed his next arrow. Rolling to the left, three silver colored energy throwing knives appeared in her left hand and she let them loose, one catching the next arrow and he pulled it back and the other two hitting his shoulder and spinning him away. However, she was caught off guard by the giant fist slamming into her from behind, sending her sprawling again. She recovered well though, coming up from a roll and facing the giant arm making man again. "What in the HELL is your issue, dude? I don't even KNOW you!" She barely avoided another giant punch, and paid him back for it with a slash across his arm.

The man, however, only laughed. "Let's start with your parents. Hank and Jenna. They made our lives mighty difficult with all that hint dropping to the Council." Jane narrowed her eyes at the man. No one knew who was really dropping those hints, her parents had always been so careful. "Of course, we're also moving on Phoenix Wing too. The bastards cost us an importantly powerful ally when they got Angelica arrested. She had the whole Council under her thumb and fed us good information. Yeah, we're not too happy about their involvment in bringing down our rather good racket." He turns to the archer on the roof as he comes back from being knocked down. "Send up the signal. We're going to smash all these bugs at once."

The archer nods and draws back an arrow before letting it loose, a giant red butcher's knife with a drop of blood coming off it appearing. Jane, however, was more focused on her opponent, who had stepped back to allow a couple of other mages forward, one wielding ice magic and the other wearing a bear of Cestus' on his knuckles. Jane wondered what his magic was, but didn't drop her guard. Besides the question was quickly answered as he rushed her with a straight on punch, forcing her to duck and counter with an elbow to his gut. This only earned a grunt from the man and he quickly swung down towards her back. "I use Brawler magic, miss. A little elbow like that won't hurt me."

Jane growled as she rolled away behind the large man and had to duck again, almost taking an ice spear through the neck. She counted with a trio of thrown needles, sending several flurries at the pair to buy her some space. OK, this is just like sparring with mom and dad, different magics, same number of opponents. Mom trained me for stuff like this. Spinning the energy blade, she rushes forwards at the same time as the Brawler Magic user and swings to meet his fist, his magic, and likely magic weapons, letting him match her blow. They glanced off to the side of each other, but Jane was prepared and brought a wrist projected energy blade towards the brawler, who blocked it with his own fist. She moved carefully, keeping an eye on the ice mage and making sure her partner in this fight was between them at all times. The man, obviously the leader, who'd started this, simply watched with a twisted grin on his face. She decided then that by the end of this whole thing, she'd wipe that grin from his face.

All across Crocus, members of Phoenix Wing not already in the stadium find themselves faced with foes who they hadn't realized were there before. Master Jamie, Rose, and Amelia would find themselves face to face with a rather large man wielding a fairly unwieldly seeming hammer and a young girl who was playing with a dog made of magma. "Oh, we finally got the signal! Time for you little birdies to go bye bye. I'm Alice and I'll be the one to kill you today!" This voice came from the little girl and without warning, she had the magma dog attack Jamie. She seemed so happy, but was also very sadistic.

The man with the large hammer didn't speak at all, simply swinging his hammer down at Rose and Amelia with incredible speed to test his opponent's reaction speed. "Names Joseph, and I'm going to make you feel like a pancake. Nighty night, little birdies." This man was obviously very determined, but he also LIKED making things go smush. Alice used magma make, as she added more attacks to her fight and Joseph used Earth magic, supplimenting his large hammer strikes with variou attacks like boulder, rising stalagmites, and other attacks like that.

Isabella and Bullet find themselves face to face with twin girls, one wielding elementally enhanced weapons and armor with requip, the other another brawler mage, wearing a pair of Tekko. "I'm Tetra," says the one on the left.

"And I'm Leila," says the one on the right. They step forward with Leila summoning a fire imbued pair of daggers. "And we're going to enjoy killing you." Their faces were impassive, but their tone inferred that killing was fun to these two.

Samir would find herself faced with a woman wearing a mask and with a totem on her back. "You have angered our great leader. Now you must die." As soon as she finished speaking, an giant bear with the head of an eagle appeared and attacked the archer. She used Shamanic magic and her demeanor was one that said death was not something she hadn't seen before.

Fleo was confronted by a man with a pair of daggers and wearing a cloak. "Well, I was hoping for a bigger bird, but you'll do. Any last requests?" As he speaks, he vanishes in a swirl of black smoke and his voice echoes. "Name's Black Death, and I'm going to snuff out your light." His attitude was someone who dealt death in equal parts fun and duty. His magic was likely Shadow manipulation magic.

James Hunt|Phoenix Wing Hotel

James didn't notice the first knock and continued focusing his magic energy into a small sphere in his hand, said sphere producing a golden light. The second knock, however, gets his attention and he dismisses the sphere, satisfied with having formed it for the time being, and opening his door. "Ah, Cody. What brings you to my door this morning?"

Adamine stood just outside Crocus, god how she hated large crowds, she could already feel her anxiety kicking in and she hadn't even entered the city. Shaking her head in disgust at herself she pulls her hood further over her face and exhales loudly before continuing forward, she'd left her Aunt's in order to come see the Magic Games, she'd gotten this far, her damned anxiety wasn't about to stop her here so close to her goal.
Moving through the streets Adamine wondered at all the flowers "Oh how fast this place could burn" she shakes her head and raises an eyebrow at the palace in the distance, she hadn't expected Mercurlus to be so extravagant, it was the most notable building in the whole city. Then there was Domus Flau, dwarfing the palace, the stadium could easily be seen from the streets. Keeping her gaze on the Magic Games Stadium she picked her way though the streets elegantly avoiding the large crowds.
Upon reaching the stadium uneventfully Adamine takes it all in momentarily before moving through the massive gates of the arena and picking her way through the people to a more empty part of the lower stands where she leans forward to get a good look at what's going on below.

Master Jamie
@Zarkun@Joshua Tamashii@Amaya Yashia

At the first sign of Danger, Jamie had shifted, had moved in front of Sam, of Amelia, and Elyse, knowing Rose could protect herself. As the girl set the magma dog on them, on her, Jamie moved fast, and calling upon her property change magic, she brought forth a wave, keeping it contained with a wind wall. As the girl continued to through magma at her, jamie decided to put an end to this little battle as quickly as possible, and shouted "Negate!" to hopefully negate the girls magic, and the mans.

She was taking no chances with this. Once the attackers were unable to find, then Jamie would question, but with two children unable to fight, she was not going to stand around trying to make peace talks. She was not losing Sam a second time, and she certainly wasn't going to let anything happen To Elyse, or to Amelia if she could help it.

Penny

"I think the magic council is something to worry about, so I've been keeping tabs on it. Not that had to find good informants" Penny said, "And most I still had when I was searching for Sasha. People like being gossips. Looks like they have some sticklers for the rules in there, so that's good. Maybe they won't end up corrupt. I wonder why they're here though, being introduced at the games"

Karn || Stadium

Karn sneezed, his nose twitching before rubbing it a little. Feeling like he was being talked about. Oh well. When they reached the stadium, Karn blinked slowly as he looked around a bit. It was a little weird. Everything felt weird. Perhaps it was because this was a more festive atmosphere. He hadn't actually ever been born in a place where there was time for such things. They had their own ways of celebrating when there was a moment to breathe, but nothing this big. Well, guess everyone will have time for this sort of thing. He wasn't sure if he was sad... to not experience it or happy that his friends would finally be able to experience some sort of peace to at least enjoy themselves. Nothing was perfect. There was always going to be trouble. But, having a few more breaths wouldn't hurt.

Prince || Dragon Fang Hotel --> Streets of Crocus

@Caits

Michael didn't seem to quite understand what Prince meant but it was alright. Prince didn't really want to explain the way it works. Ignorance was bliss after all. The feline chuckled at the question, amused. "Mhmm perhaps it is just a illusion? Or perhaps there are certain things Fate does not wish for choice? For example, if one is to freely choose 'I want to live' rather than die. Well. Then too many people would stay alive forever. Fate has the harsh duty to deal out the end date. Because, Death is apart of life. Though perhaps we do have a sort of choice in that as well. We can keep fighting for life, or accept death. Who is to say?" he hummed before nodding before happily skipping toward the Stadium, humming a happy tune.

"It's quite a nice day." he purred, his ears perking and tail twitching, eye flicking open and glancing from side to side.

Ferrin Astra

At Time Lord's odd comment, Ferrin raises an eyebrow. He then grinned sheepishly. "You are not the first to point that out, and most likely will not be the last. I have also been told that I am a stubborn, independently minded, sarcastic, self-centered, egotistical jerk. The list goes on and on. I had a friend who gave me an earful every time I did something stupid." I miss her... Ferrin though. He reclined on the edge of the bath. After a moment, he said "This may seem forward, but I admit to being curious about your magic. Manipulating time is no small feat and it must require immense magical power. Not to mention a lot of skill and focus."
