But, then you have to take into account natural selection. An entity would have to infer whether a species out of its influenced evolved to combat and survive occurrences and phenomena in their surrounding area or if they evolved for some other preconceived notion that isn't obvious from simply grazing its surroundings. It'd be generally difficult for an entity to determine if there are more like it in one space. I think this is where Termite wants us to get creative in how we interact with each other. ;o

I think this is where it becomes interesting and if an entity is reasonably paranoid or seems to have found the identity of another entity without its knowledge, then it's up to that entity to plan accordingly. I'd personally become sneaky and I think that's how Sower would act as well, in the beginning, that is... when it gets rolling, it won't care who knows of its existence. Fooling other entities may be difficult, though it may not, depending on how we play around with evolution. Obvious changes that don't fit with the surrounding habitat or doesn't necessarily help in a species survival, per se, is going to stick out like a sore thumb, but underlying changes by attributing them to the environment and how natural selection and mutations work would generally keep an entity's identity (lelelel) in the unknown.

So, depending on an entity's intent, we might be able to tell who's going to out themselves first. Of course, that doesn't mean someone's species is immediately going to get annihilated. There are advantages and disadvantages to everything. They have more room to work than the entities that are still in "hiding", but they lose the safety of the unknown in the process. SO MANY CHOICES.

I have many ideas. the first things I had in mind, look a lot like the things we already have, so I'm trying to come up with something new. I'm just brainstorming with the ideas below. But I might go for the Reaching one or the conscious one.

The Reaching One/ Heavenly one
wants to get as high as possible. He wants to take control of the sky and if eventually possible, whatever is beond. And to fill the sky with creatures of his own design in a utopia that's safe from the dangers on the ground. Creating an airborne ecosystem for his creatures in a way that no organism has ever to come down to earth again. - think flying creatures and immensely tall trees

The Flaming one
wants to bring fire to this world through his creatures. tries to create creatures that can produce fire. -Think dragons for instance, but perhaps not as overall powerfull as that.

The illuminating one
wants to create light al over the planet, night and day. - Think glowing plants

The Dark one
Wants to control all species. - think mind controlling virusses or a plague that affects al living things.

The devouring one
wants to eat the planet. - think creatures that eat about anything, only to reproduce themselves at massive rates. Like a plague.

The Conscious one
wants to create a hive mind for the planet, made up of all organisms. - think Pandora, the planet from avatar (not the airbender, but the blue guys)

The growing one
wants to create organisms as large as possible.

The lonely one
wants to make friends with another entity trough their limited communication

The procreating one
wants to create a species or group of species, that is capable of the same things as he is.

The Communicating one
wants to create a way for the entities to communicate fast and easily.

The Frankenstein Fuser
Wants to take the deadliest creations in the world and put them together to make a fearsome -grown together- symbiotic species.

wants to create internet

wants to create a race that can summon him to this world.

My presence is going to be known early.I am already think up flies that move around spit acid at other animals so that those animals are more aggressive and angry. And then the flies eat the dead corpses of the animals that die from fights between the angered animals. And skunks that feel the area around them with a sweet scent that makes animals more relaxed and lazy so that their is less predators and completion. Oh the possibilities.

I hate it when this happens, but might as well use this post. I also have plans for my flagship species that protects my other species.

Yes, that is a key point, although it is entirely possible that they will come to their own conclusion that there are other beings like themselves by observing. How many there might be and what the others's intentions are will be harder to puzzle out. Or, they could completely miss the truth and find some incorrect explanation for what they observe in the life beyond their control- That would be fun too.
