"Sketch us? What's wrong with now?... Ooh I get it, you're more into the natural scenery right? Alright then... Maybe we should grab something and eat out on the route for a picnic or something instead. I haven't had one of those since I was ages, plus we can shop for supplies while we're at it", he suggested. It was a sound idea, it didn't seem their hunger was urgent either, so they could take the time to go and shop for what they needed, food for both themselves and their Pokemon. The day was still young too, so they had plenty of time, and the next town up was a short day's walk through Route 2.

"And then after that... Where should we head? I was going to go up Route 2 and just keep following the road for awhile, see where I get to. Did you have anywhere you wanted to go in mind?", he asked, turning to Hotaru.

Ray Stylo

@Rune_Alchemist

"Lucy, Laria." Ray mumbled to himself despondently. Such an innocent name for such a brash girl, or so he thought. For a moment, he took his time examaning Laria, and comparing her to Muay. Who would win in a fight? Definitely Muay. That's what he wanted to think. Unfortunately, he had no idea what Muay could do, not to mention what the hell Laria could do. Picking a fight was the last thing he wanted to do. Not to mention that fact that Lucy seemed to be the; 'piss me off and I'll take you virginity' type.

Lucy only served to prove her point as she left him to have some random face on face action with an unsuspecting trainer. The poor trainer didn't know what hit 'em. The trainer was so surprised, that he ended up stuttering for a minute. Ray couldn't lie, he didn't mind getting some lip on lip action with Lucy, as long as she was offering.

Fortunately, she was, and he could tell that it wasn't an empty offer. Ray took his time thinking her offer you over, weighing the pros and cons. No protection. Witnesses. Possible banishment. Humiliation. Sex with a girl. The pros were definitely outweighing the cons by the looks of it.

Ray quickly turned to Lucy. "After several moments of difficult deliberation, I have come to accept you offer." he affirmed, his face deadpan. "I believe this would be for the betterment and growth of society as a whole."

Get his first kiss and lose his virginity in one day? How could he paas that up? Unfortunately a swift jab in the knee by Muay changed his mind. "Actually, maybe after we find our wat out." he moaned dissapointedly, rubbing his sore knee.

Fantasia Heirloom

Estoria City, Casteliacone

@AbysmalDemon

Fantasia arrived at the rather unimpressive venue with a vengeance, darting her eyes around the venue for Charlie - spotting him momentarily running toward an alleyway with some soaking wet nobody. She took a moment to brush a small amount of dirt or dust that had accumulated during the journey off her dress, then proceeded to follow the pair down the alley. The shiny Beldum was continuously smashing its face into an ice cream cone when she arrived, making the two guys chuckle - but not Fantasia of course, whom was surprised that floating white piece of chalk could even find a way to eat. She shoved the wet guy away from her, walking toward Charlie with a disgusted look on her face.

“My, My Charlie what have you been plotting over here - or should I say, what else?” She shot an annoyed look to the wet guy, “Excuse me, where are my manners. I don't believe we've met, what with the cruel politics of high society and all - why don’t you go back to the Wailord show you so obviously belong at.”

Fantasia shooed the wet boy away, watching him leave out of the alleyway back out toward the food truck where the crowd had still obviously been upset from the lack of iced cream. “It's like my father always says, ‘The weak are always trying to sabotage the strong’. Do you consider yourself weak, Charlie?”

She dug through her purse, pulling out a wad of one hundred dollar bills and began to fan herself with it. “Let’s not make this harder than it needs to be Charles, I know you stole my Pokedex - the way you ran off after I asked about it just screamed guilty. I hope I made it here in time before you could black-market off my device to that… Wet willy.”

She rolled her eyes with a chuckle, pulling out another wad of hundreds. “It’s quite funny actually, your blasted mother tried to give me a Generation 27 or whatever those filthy peasants use to appease me - she was probably in on the theft too. So I taught her a lesson, by smashing it in front of her - she didn’t look happy but what do you expect when your co-conspiring with a thief?”

She took out a final stack of cash, exhaling deeply as she neatly piled them up in her hand. “I like you Charlie, I really do. That’s why I am willing to make this whole thing go away, if you cooperate that is. I’m willing to forget all those harsh words you said earlier, and start anew - just as soon as you return what is mine. In my hand, I hold three thousand dollars cash which I am willing to give you in return for my Pokedex.”

Fantasia could sense a disinterest in the conversation, almost as if Charlie may have been focusing on something behind her, she turned around in attempt to mimic what she had observed only to see the magician out in the crowd, a green glimmer illuminating from the top of his coat pocket. “Oh my god, I remember that entrepreneur - he was doing magic tricks when I arrived. You know, I have all the reason to believe you may have sold it to him, but you just have to help me get it back!”

She grabbed Charlies arm, pulling him along with her as she approached two security officers whom were lounging against an aloe planter - enjoying nice, cool Casteliacone. Fantasia was so close to getting her treasure back, a sincere concern for the device she was missing. Hell, she'd probably apprehend the criminal herself if she weren't wearing a constricting ballroom gown.

“Excuse me, why don’t you two overweight buffoons get off your lazy behinds and go apprehend that criminal that is on the loose over there?” She demanded, only to be interrupted by the Casteliacone vendor whom called out to them for assistance causing a higher extent of frustration in Fantasia.

The two officers didn’t particularly care for her tone, putting no sense of urgency on Fantasia’s case at least from what she had observed. “Alright Ma’am we know you’re upset,” The duo scanned the crowd of people, unable to distinguish the blended in Ace from the rest of the crowd. “Where is this ‘theif’ exactly?”

Fantasia blushed in embarrassment, looking through each person in the crowd unable to relocate the magician. “He must have taken off his top hat and mask - or something! I didn’t get a good look at him, all I remember is that he was in the Casteliacone line so here is what you two imbeciles are going to do.” She leaned in with a menacing look, glaring at both men with distrusting eyes. “You’re going to go over there and ask that Casteliacone vendor about the Magician that she had just served, find him and get me back my Pokedex! Get your men to secure the entire bloody city if you have to, how hard is it to find one person?”

Security Guard

Pokémon Lab

@Heckno12
"Um, it's right here..." The guard said pointing directly next to him, to a booth that said 'Trainer Registration' The man at the registration booth motioned him over and began to tell him the basics. "So all you have to do is hand me your trainer ID, and then I- wait. Son, are you trying to register with an egg?"

Charlie Cedar

Estoria City

@MissFortune

Charlie tapped on Fantasia's shoulder trying to get her attention. "Fabtasia. Fantasia." But she was too busy muttering something like 'imbeciles, when my father hears about this.' Charlie turned towards her this time. "FANTAAAASIA!" She looked taken aback but at least now he had her attention. "The guards said the Zorua was shiny, right?" Fantasia just nodded. "Zorua can transform into any Pokémon, but since it's shiny, it will always have a different coloring," He finished, pointing towards a pretty much unsuspecting trainer with a shaky Eevee poking its head out of his bag like the magicians Zorua. He grabbed Fantasia's hand and pulled her through the big crowd, he could still see the Eevee, and when they finally broke away from the mass of people, the trainer was there, walking to route 17, where he wouldn't have to be patted down.

"We are t going to make it before he gets through the gate. Beldum, use Zen Headbutt on the back of his knees, but don't hurt 'im too much." Purpleish Pink rings began to pulse around Beldum's head as he charged into the back of the trainer's knees, knocking him to the floor. "Give us Fantasia's Pokédex!"

Ace Walker

Estoria City, Casteliacone

@Whimsicott
@AbysmalDemon

Ace peeked around the corners of the bathroom, looking both directions as he scanned for security - they were nowhere to be seen. He looked over and saw Rolf pointing them into the other direction then walking slowly away from the vendor woman. Ace smirked, looking down at the shiny illusion Eevee whom nodded at him in approval.

“Congratulations kid, you’ve become my accomplice.” He startled Rolf from behind, whom was clearly anxious from his endeavor with the law. “Chill man, I was only kidding… Oh wait, no I wasn’t. So, did they divulge any information to you?”

Ace chuckled deeply, listening to Rolf speak as he pulled out a stick of chewing gum - offering Rolf a piece a well. “Route 17 huh? Well, it’d probably be best if you stuck with me for the time being, I can’t risk you running off and telling anyone where I am headed - and I’m sure you don’t want to risk me getting caught either, full disclosure: I’ll sing like a chatot.”

Ace could sense a bit of hesitation coming from Rolf, causing him to become more firmer in his approach. “I didn’t give you a choice, you owe me - do you not remember? I put all my earnings from today, one of my busiest days to save your hide from days - if not weeks of manual labor provided that cataclysmic Buizel of yours pulled something like that again.” Ace patted the Buizel’s head, smiling down at the little troublemaker. “I just need to get to the Grand City so I can pawn off my earnings, in which case your debt will be paid and we may go our separate ways - Hell, play your cards right and I might even give you a cut of the profit, now let’s go.”

The duo made their way toward Route 17, unfortunately since the Route toward the Grand City had an abundance of officers securing the perimeter, the two would have to go the opposite way and detour through the forest to make it around the stationed guards; Ace didn’t make it too far before he had a feeling he and Rolf were being followed.

“Take my bag Rolf,” Ace quickly handed him the bag with Zorua in it, pointing to a nearby potted bush. “Hide behind there, just for the moment. I’ll handle this.” As Rolf hid with the bag, Ace coaxed Buizel to stand next to him moments before a Zen Headbutt to the back of the knees sent Ace sprawling to the ground.

“Give us Fantasia's Pokédex!" The boy screamed as the girl with the ball gown stood by him, the two looked like an oddball pair especially the overdressed woman with mascara running down her face.

“The what are you talking about!” Ace stood up, rubbing the back of his knees. “I was merely walking with my Buizel when you assulted me!”

“Oh really?” Fantasia smirked, “Then how do you explain the magician running out of the bathroom in this exact direction? You even have the same hair color!”

[color=cyan]“So let me get this straight, your friend attacked me because I used the restroom and I have the same hair color?” Ace put on his best annoyed face, face palming at the thought “You two are lunatics! You can’t just command your Pokemon to attack someone because they have the same hair color, that isn't enough evidence and is considered profiling!” Just then Buizel became nervous and antsy from his trainer being out of sight, visibly becoming more and more distraught. Ace could sense they were becoming more suspicious, he had to divert. “Oh, look at how upset you made my poor Buizel! You've made him so anxious, I should call the police on the both of you for assaulting me with a lethal Pokemon!”

"Oh! No need for all of that, I am sorry for my friend’s irrational behavior - he gets a bit passionate at times, you couldn’t be the one he had a Shiny Zorua and if I am not mistaken that Buizel is not shiny. Now, how much would it cost for you not to say anything to the police? I don’t think my friend wants a scandal on our hands.”

“Well the medical bill would be at least a hundred, you are young and I don't wanna take from you; I believe I could part with that.” Ace said rubbing the back of his knees, pretending it hurt more than it really did as Fantasia handed him a one hundred dollar bill. “Once again, so sorry - have a nice day.” With that, Fantasia grabbed hold of Charlie's arm and escorted him back toward Casteliacone, Ace could hear her telling him off - not like the boy didn’t deserve it after attacking him.

Once the two were out of sight, he waddled Buizel back over to its trainer; handing Rolf the hundred dollar bill as Ace put his bag back over his shoulder. “That’s for you, sorry for taking your Buizel like that - I had no other options, do you forgive me?”

Ian Kendrickson

Pokemon Lab

Ian looked up at the man and shrugged. He held up the incubator so it was clear to see the egg moving around and near hatching. "Probably." He said simply, hoping that the egg would just hurry up. Ian pulled his trainer ID out and presented it to the guy. If he was told no, he'd probably have to come back later, but in his head that was just a waste of time. All Pokemon come from eggs at some point, if anything his Pokemon was just slightly fresher than most others' starting out.

Ian's only reaction at this point was to stare blankly at the man and hope for the best, worst comes to worst, he'd have to try again when Sneasel hatched.

Deneb Astrologian

Deneb walked onwards, wandering the town as he normally would, searching for even a hint of a solution to his goal. The only difference between now and before was that s Maractus was fallowing him, shaking her maracas as they traversed the streets of the town. The boy didn't know what to do. Sure, maybe if he was lucky, Maractus would agree to help him with his predicament, but for now she seemed to just want to do anything she wanted with no care as to what he said.

They continued to aimlessly wander, with Deneb spacing out along the way. When he regained his focus, he heard a voice.

"Give us Fantasia's Pokédex!"

The tone of the voice sounded threatening, and the source of the noise looked to be demanding something. It was really none of Deneb's business, but he found himself in the middle of the event. Even if it was an accident, he found that he had become part of it regardless. Deneb stared at the two, standing in the middle of what looked to be some sort of unpleasant interaction. A security guard that he hadn't even noticed before.

Deneb tilted his head, while Maractus stood between them with the intent to protect the child.Denrb furled his brow in response to his perception of the situation.

Hotaru Tomoe

@Sho Minazuki

Hotaru listened to what Rylen suggested and actually his idea sounded a lot better. A picnic sounded really good actually. She wondered where the closest pokemart was from here. "We might as well go to a pokemart then, they should have everything we need or want when it comes to supplies as well as food." Now he wanted to head out through route 2. Wasn't there a desert through there? She once more looked to her pokenav and scrolled upwards on the map and zoomed in on route 2... sure enough it cut through a desert. She looked to Rylen and smiled. "Lets make sure we bring lots of water, neither one of us has a water pokemon so we can't rely on that.... at all." She added. She then wondered what kind of pokemon would be seen between route 2. The desert will obviously be home to a lot of ground type pokemon but there was some green before it turned into sand. Hopefully it wasn't like most beginning routes in other regions. Where the only good pokemon to be seen were the common ones. Good news was as she studied it more it looked like route 2 just lead into a desert rather then cut through one. Which was a much better then what she had feared. Still the could get some water now and save them time later. Now to locate a pokemart. There wasn't one to far from her actually.

It was close enough that she looked up to see if she could see the blue roof already. Sure enough she spotted it. "Well lets go do some shopping,.. I promise I wont be like some girls and spend my 300P on a bonnet or something. I was thinking if possible going halves and buy a bit of food for us and with the rest for the pokemon. I mean I guess if it costs a bit more then I think the pokemon could just eat some human food. Zed eats a lot of out food." She then looked to Rylen. She didn't think making a friend would be this easy and simple. She just had to show her father. "First off,... I got to show dad I got a new friend already." She pulled out her Camera and then pulled from her satchel a good long rod to which had a attachment on it. She hooked it up to her camera and then stepped close to Rylen and then held it up in the air. Yes people she is taking a selfie. She pulled Zed into the photo as well before she took the shot. "Don't forget to smile!" She said. That was mostly aimed towards Zed though. He wasn't to fond of them. It's not like they followed the rules of real ghosts and didn't show up in the pictures or something... wait that's vampires.

- Alexander Furst : Miscommunication -

Raising an eyebrow at this statement, he only sighed, looking down upon the girl with the eerie mask. It still jarred him, though that could be mostly because of the unknown. Clenching his fists, he glared at her as she made her accusations, his nails digging deeper into his palms until finally he released at the word "ghost." Well... at least she didn't dance around that one as his irritated frown started appearing more morose to the eye.

Of course, it was then he realized that Lynn was trying to avoid his question, which no end triggered him, making his scowl even deeper. He barred his teeth at the girl, but eventually sheathed them under his lips. The Gastly watched as the two shadowy tendrils appear out of no where and a fully formed pokemon emerging from the golden mask.

Henry didn't bother approaching it because of the devilish glean it was making towards Alex, but he managed to keep himself stone cold... if that meant actively getting angry was stone cold. The Gastly attempted to show the same aggression as him, but it only resulted in him looking less timid. Only after she introduced her dear Khata to Henry did Alex respond.

"Tch, right..."

His voice was dryer than a desert dune as he returned the same look of disapproval towards Lynn. Alex arms were shaking, though it would be unnoticeable to the naked eye. After all, he was holding back. Eyeing the pokemon for a mere few seconds, he shook his head at it before returning his view to her body, somewhat perturbed by it.

Eventually, she tried to turn his own question on him, which only made him decide to stop and close his eyes for the moment. Getting worked up and emotional wouldn't exactly resolve this. Her accusations, however, were becoming less and less accurate by the moment. Taking a deep breath, he continued hearing out Lynn's illogical and what he saw as ignorant statements. Opening his eyes again, Alex remained calm, or at least managed his vexation.

His white hair flew around as he shook his head when she accused him of running away from his problems... which seemed to really crack the boy a bit. Even she should of known that it was a lie, a ruse, a cover up! But even though he knew the words weren't entirely true, it still hurt due to the facet that she meant every word of it; Alex could tell from the disapproving tone in her voice.

Alex may distaste acting like a hypocrite, but he wasn't just going to let her turn this whole thing around on him like that. Dodging and running away...

"Au contraire, Lynn; that's what you've been doing this whole time," he harshly put, jabbing a finger through the air, pointing directly at her chest. Looking down on the shorter, well dressed girl, he sighed, closing his eyes and shaking his head. "Then again, you are inconsiderate, so why should I be surprised." He wasn't frowning nor smirking, but rather just focusing.

Opening his eyes, he squinted at the girl, glaring at her between the slits, but that was all it. For the moment. It went for some seconds, before he resumed. "If you aren't gonna give me a straight answer, don't expect one in return..." He grunted, crossing his arms as he brandished the one thing on his right wrist.

A gray X-Transceiver.

Tapping his foot, he continued on, but not before staring at the ceiling of the foliage, grimacing on this situation. "Maybe if you check your damn messages, then you would probably know why I'm here... next time, get your facts straight before making yourself look ignorant on part of the discussion," he spoke coldly at her. Unblinking, Alex unraveled his arms, putting one on his hip as he muttered "good grief," to himself.

Henry, who had been nervously been listening beside him noticed the attitude and gave him a small bump on the side of the head, giving him a quaint smile. Unblinking, he looked at his friend, giving a faint smile before dropping it and returned to his staring contest with Lynn.

"Now why don't you tell me why you're-"

And that's when something completely out of the blue (and blue) decided to just... happen. There was the shrill screech of a gi- no it was a guy... who was being chased by a bunch of Poliwags...

...

Either these Poliwags had rabies or they were a lot tougher than they looked. Regardless, they were interfering with this pleasant chat at the moment. Pivoting to face them, Alex gave a reassuring glance to the Gastly, who was visibly intimidated by such a large number of them. "Hey, trust me Henry and I'll make sure that not even you get hurt." His voice was calm and soothing to the pokemon, who slowly inched his way towards the boy with the long coat who was walking in the direction of danger... smart.

Setting his bag on the ground, the crowd seemed completely agitated and from the looks of it, stayed their focus onto the fleeing boy... hmm...

He had a plan.

Shoving his hand inside his satchel, he hastily retrieved two pokeballs from his sack. "Get behind me and follow my hand," he hissed as he held two of the red and white items in his hand. He only glanced once to see which hand Henry was behind, before tossing a ball directly at the Poliwags, causing one to be enveloped in a light and go into the ball.

Raising his other arm up, he knew this would only be his chance since that got the attention of most of the Poliwags who were now angrily focused on him after that course of action. "Henry, use Hypnosis!"

Rylen | Estoria City Pokemart

@EWillden

"Yeah, they can, Larvitar really likes any meat sandwich for instance... But I was told that Pokemon food is more nutritious? So it's usually a treat, for both me and Larvitar", he responded.

"And don't worry, I won't judge you if you want to treat yourself, it's good to know you'll be responsible though", oblivious to him was that not too far off were people who were the opposite of responsible with money. Still, right before they began to head off for the Pokemart, she pulled him in closer, which surprised him, but he spotted the camera.

"A picture...? Wait", as she drew in for the selfie, he picked up his Larvitar to enter it too. What did they call this, a selfie? He doesn't pay much attention to trends, but he's heard of this. His old Pokenav can't take pictures, so he never bothered with this. After that was over they took a moment to look at the picture before heading for the Mart, as the doors slid open and they entered, Rylen began to take note of what they needed after discussing it earlier.

"Hmmm... So let's see... Food, water... I think we'll be staying out too, so I'll go get the camping supplies, like a tinder for making a fire. You can take care of the food and water. We'll meet back at the counter alright?", he suggested.

Hotaru/Estonia Pokemart

Hotaru checked her wallet once more to make sure she had what she thought. It wasn't much but it was something. Rylen said he couldn't judge her or anything if she ever spent her money on a bonnet for herself but that will probably occur later on in the journey. Right now she had to make sure she got food and water for the both of them. She moved to the right hand side of the door and picked up a basket and proceeded to browse. She had to go easy on her decisions, getting the generic brands will have to do for now until she got more money. Perhaps she could do some training against other trainers in hopes of saving up enough money that later on she could actually more effectively help out. Seeing as Rylen was going to look for camping utensils perhaps he could pick up a pot or pan. Which made her decide to look at some of the canned food.

At the rate of the prices she was wondering if she should just look for someone selling a rod and they could just go fishing. I mean the stuff wasn't overly expensive. She felt that perhaps she would invest in that though. It would save them money if they could catch fish in a decent lake or river. Then she saw something that wasn't too overly priced and could actually last them a good long while. Rice, it wasn't too expensive and it provided enough nutrition to get them by. She decided to get two bags and place them in the basket. Now that was there food. Now to see how much the mart's pokemon food was. Rylen did have a point with it being much better for pokemon. She wondered if they had specially made ones for certain pokemon. Like perhaps something made for ghost types or ground types. That would be cool if the mart had that kind of selections. Sure enough they did actually have those. I suppose when they say certain foods are made for certain pokemon they were not kidding.

She began to compare prices once more to the different brands only picking out what she could afford knowing that she still had to get water. Luckily she had her backpack where she could store some of it but she might need some help. She was able to pick out enough for it to last the pokemon for awhile then they would have to share their rice. That was another 100 gone.. now for water. Lucky for her they had a sale on the water, it was a buy one get one free sale and it didn't even require a stupid membership. She hated those stores. Oh look we got tons of stuff for sale... oh your not a member well that sucks. She picked up four bottles and then headed for the counter.

If that had only like one more member or two that could buy some supplies as well she wouldn't feel too bad on her small choices. She sighed and began to place the items on the counter. The clerk would in turn scan them and ring up the final price. The price pretty much made her flat broke afterwards taking up all of the 300P father had given her. This made her sigh once more. She paid the clerk and she raised a hand before he started to put it in bags.

"I got a backpack,.. we will be traveling through route 2." She explained and the clerk nodded.
"Ah,.. you must be one of them new trainers that just started today. Well I hope you have a safe journey." He responded and she bowed slightly. She began to put the items in the backpack and then zipped it up. Hopefully Rylen had better luck then she did. Then again he probably had more money then her.

~Lucile Geroux, Pokemon Sanctuary -> Pokemon lab~

@LokiLeo789

Lucy simply giggled softly at Ray's behavoir. If she had to sum it up in one word, she'd have called him adorably cute. And then he had to go and ruin it. She smiled softly as she picked up her Purrloin. The small cat meowed contemplatively but it was quickly silenced when she cradled it in her arms, petting it gently.

"Your no fun, you know that?" She replied, though she seemed more amused than disappointed as she walked towards the direction she assumed the exit was. "But fine, I shall restrain myself for now, even if you are adorable~" Here she was offering herself up on a silver platter for some fun times, and here he was being oh so rude and rejecting it. Well, that was fine. It was fun simply seeing his reaction anyways. For now, she needed to go about getting registered as a trainer, her ID, pokedex...that sort of thing. Though really, she didn't care about such a device at all. She wasn't really here to become some pokemon collector. Well, unless those pokemon were classy, cute, and carried a hint of elegance to them. "However, I do expect a date later, so make sure you keep that promise of yours~"

Thankfully, it didn't take her long to get to the pokemon lab and its exit. The registering process didn't take that long, once they reached the appropriate place. Pokedex, ID, and whatever she needed were easily obtained. Really, such boorish nerdy things weren't exactly her forte, and she could have easily done without them. She already had done her own research into the pokemon she wanted. Her first one? She wanted to get her mitts on a Goomy. They were just adorable, after all. That meant getting to route seven and the untamed wilds. She'd of course, gather some other pokemon along the way to help in her journey, but she wasn't exactly one to collect a lot of them.

"Well, now that that boring affair is over with..." She turned to Ray. "We are traveling together aren't we? 'Twould be a shame to travel alone...though maybe if you buy me dinner first I could overlook you leaving a lady to travel alone. After all, who knows what sorts of dangers one could face out there?~"

~Lynnette Crawford, Pokemon Sanctuary~

@Savo - messes up Gastly
@Alexfangtalon - trips and lets him get attacked by poliwag

Lynnette listened with rapt attention to Alex. At least, she seemed to listen. Would be rude not too, after all, wouldn't it? Besides, she might miss some juicy information she could use against him. Well, that and listening to him go on and on was simply amusing. Her, inconsiderate? Please, she was just honest. She was a terrible person, and she knew it...and she loved it. She didn't let anyone get in her way, and those who did she simply made sure they knew better than to mess with her. And running? Her? How utterly laughable. And He was bringing that up? That dingy little thing she hadn't used since she was what, thirteen?

Oh her dear little Alex.

How much of an unrepentant idiotic imbecile could he possibly be?

The ghostly pale girl simply giggled, her voice indicating no small amount of disdain and disapproval for everything he had said. Unfortunately, it seemed as though fate would not give her time to reply as she would have liked, however. Such a thing was fine, fate was a fickle thing after all and not something that was to really be fought against in the end. Instead, a boy being chased by a group of rather vicious poliwag was heading right for them.

...and it seemed as though Alex wanted to play the hero.

Disgustingly typical.

"How boring...playing the hero as usual, Alex." She sighed, obviously bored. "Let's see just how well you do when someone actively hinders you, hmm?~" Without another word, for one, she conveniently stuck her foot out and tripped the kid as he ran passed them. Khata had plans of her own, it seemed as well. The Yamask suddenly appeared behind the other ghost type, making a terrifying face by glaring at it, and its shadowy arms extended towards the ball of gas, almost as if it was going to grab it and drag the other pokemon towards an untimely demise. It was a surprise Astonish attack, and while it may not have been too damaging it should have at least stunned gastly before it was able to use a hypnosis.

She of course, was conveniently sitting to the side, far enough away from the poliwag to not garner their attention at the moment.

Ray Stylo

@Rune_Alchemist

Ray let out a long deserved sigh as Lucy relented and left to lead him out. He owed her a date now? He had never been on a date, girls back home usually avoided him. Glancing at Muay, who seemed to be just as uneasy as he was, Ray decided to drop the whole incident and focus on readying himself for his journey.

Ray basically sprinted his way out of the Sanctuary after Lucy, Muay following close behind as he collapsed on the floor. "Thank God..." he huffed, resting on his knees. His moment of rest gave Ray insight on the second half of the event. A plethora of kiosks were placed around the area, behind them stood uniformed men and woman with touchpads. The registers.

Ray had completely forgotten about registration. How would he get his Pokedex? Taking one last breath, Ray took too the kiosk, leaving Lucy in the dust as he rushed over to the register. This gave him an opportunity to take in his fellow trainers Pokemon. Unfortunately, he could never get a good look. Massive distractions were the culprit. A commotion outside the building was the main problem, but a stamped of Pokémon also seemed to feeding the overall chaos.

A helpful person would take to action, and help, but Ray could care less at the moment. The young Stylo slammed into the kiosk, causing the lady behind it jump. "Are you okay? she cried, poking at the downed boy. Ray bolted upwards and casually leaned on the kisok, playing the whole incident off. "Yeah I'm good, how about you? Good? Great? I'd like to register myself and my partner. You know? Protocol and all that." he fired off, leaning in closer and closer.

The clerk leaned back to avoid touching Ray. Yeah, I do. Fill this out. she sighed, handing him a tablet. Unfazed, Ray took the tablet and tapped away; inputing his name, his Pokemon's, his age, the usual. With a resolute grin, Ray handed the clerk back her tablet, who took it with an exasperated sigh. "Congratulations Ray, you are officially a Pokemon Trainer! Here is you starter kit." she chimed fakely as she handed Ray a red and white backpack.

Ray wasted no time snatching the bag from her hands and scurring off. Eager to find out what was inside, he ransacked the thing. The Professor and spared no expense to pay for everything that would truly prepare the trainers for their journey. As he searched through the contents of the bag, Ray realized that, and was greatful. Inside, there was a metal case with the region logo on it, his badge holder. Besides that, their wasn't much else. There were some complimentary Pokeballs, some potions, and his Pokedex. The Pokedex though, was the best part.

Ray quickly took to testing the device, activating it and reveling a holo pad. "Coooool." Ray mumbled in awe as he tapped furiously. After personalizing the device,Ray found himself on the homepage, where a plethora of apps sat. The largest one in the middle caught his eye. Shapped like a Pokeball, it quickly opened into a new page that read; No Pokemon I'm sight. Tentivly, Ray held the device towards Muay, who cocked his head in confusion.

Instantly, the device burst to live, showing him all the information the Pokemon database had on his Riolu.

The aura that emanates from its body intensifies to alert others if it is afraid or sad.

Not only that, the device even went as far as to display Muay's level of power, which was gauged at 5, and the ablites he knew. If that didn't impress Ray enough, the Teambuilder app took the cake. Instantly, Ray jumped to his feet. He needed to start building his team and train Muay. Unfortunately, he would need some suplies, and he had lost Lucy in his excitement.

Coincidentally, she appeared next to him."I don't know about dinner, but you could travel with me. A man couldn't leave a woman all alone I'm the wilderness." he jibbed as he took to his feet. "But first, I need to hit the Pokemart." he huffed as he got to his feet and walked out the door. He was greeted by the chaos of the outside world, which he ignored and went on his way. None of his business anyway.

Registration Official

@Heckno12
The man sighed, taking Ian's Trainer ID. He mumbled something along the lines of I don't get paid enough for this. He took a look at the egg, tapping it a few times to make sure it was real, before sliding Ian's card in the scanner. There was a 'ding' and he handed him back his card. "There you go. Now your registered for the Fordis League. You get five Pokéballs, Five Potions, and the newest Pokédex complete with a HoloTouch Pad. Enjoy your day." He said, all in a rather bland tone.

Rolf Bannian

There was no way Rolf would have allowed Pinwheel out of his sight. It made him very uncomfortable that the man had just taken his pokemon- his only pokemon- without asking. It itrotted him even more that after actually trying to help the guy, Rolf was faced with a threat: if this shady character was to be caught, he would take Rolf down with him! What in Arceus was going on here? Everything passed by so quickly, but based on the blatan lying of the criminal and the familiar rich girl's dialogue, the sailor more or less deduced what had happened. They didn't give out boating licenses to people that were daft. Not in Unova, anyways.

Even though he had the other's bag- hey, if he wanted, he could make a run for it and pawn off whatever valuable pokedex or whatever that the guy stole- but he didn't know the area. Plus it would be suspicious to be caught with stolen goods. The zorua at least was interesting to watch, even as he hid in the bushes. Now that Rolf calmed down, and had mostly dried off, his eyebrows were crossed in irritation. It was pretty difficult to actually anger him, but it was more than a breeze to get Rolf to hate. Or at the very least, dislike. Still, he didn't know his way around the region besides through maps, and pair travel was safer by far.

As soon as the pair was gone, not caring if anyone else could have been around, Rolf stepped out from the bushes. PinWheel leapt at him, nearly knocking him over. The buizel was a lot like a missle. At Ace's words, Rolf simply stared straight through him unblinking, tossing the bag for the other to catch. With his hands free, Rolf balled up his fist and took a hard swing at the other's jaw. He wasn't good with self restraint, though he was sure this wasn't a choice he would be regretting. Unsmiling, he spat, "Listen, I appreciate you footing the bill. Really. Wouldn't mind traveling with you. Don't know the region very well." He patted Pinwheel on the head. "Don't even care what your story is. Murder? Grand theft? Whatever." He leaned in close. "But let me tell you somethin'. Take anything that's mine again, or force me to hide when I could do somethin', like you did just now, and I'm out. Don't care if you wanna squeal, you don't even know my name." The girl was a stranger, but the boy had been kind to him. He was sure he could have sorted it out, too. "And you're not gettin' it." If Ace had been hit hard, Rolf offered his hand for the other to take.

"Let's get going. I want out of this place."

Charlie Cedar
&
Fantasia Heirloom

Estoria City

Collab Between AbysmalDemon and @MissFortune

"Are you crazy?!" Fantasia yelled at Charlie as she dragged him back toward the eatery, "You can't just go have your Pokémon attacking people willy nilly! I appreciate the effort but this is just ridiculous."

Charlie sighed and threw his hands up in the air. "Fantasia! Don't you see?! That was the guy that we were looking for! It was the exact same trainer, he just dropped the bag and switched out Pokémon! Use your head! Do you ever want to see the thing that your dad worked so hard for, or are you just going to let all you said before go to waste and have no meaning?"

Fantasia rolled her eyes, glaring at Charlie for a breif moment, taking a second to collect her thoughts before enunciating her speech clearly. "Are you kidding me, of course I want my special Pokedex back - I just find it a bit suspicious that the trainer had a 'shiny' Zorua and around the same time my Pokédex went missing, you just so happened to find a 'shiny' beldum. I mean think about it, the paralells are there."

Charlie stepped forward towards Fantasia, making his voice very firm. "So what your saying... What your telling me... Is that I had my Beldum hurt another trainer to get away with stealing a Pokédex that has no meaning to me at all? This is insane, I know you think low of me, but really? I knew I shouldn't have tried helping you. What a waste of my time." He stormed off from Fantasia, his Beldum's one eye glaring at her.

Fantasia scoffed, laughing at his remarks as if he had just said something completely idiotic, when in actuality he had a good point. "You can't just walk away from me Charlie, not after we have come this far. If you aren't hiding anything than I am sure you wouldn't mind if I took a look in your bag?"

Charlie scowled, "Fine! Take a look in my bag, and I assure you, your god damn Pokédex isn't in here." Charlie shoved his bag towards Fantasia with a look of utter contempt.

It was more than evident Fantasia wanted more than anything to take a look in that bag, the wide grin on her face had only solidified that assumption. She ruffled her hands through his bag, pushing aside miscellaneous items; a few pokeballs, some potions - typical trainer stuff. At that point her stomach dropped, realizing the seriousness of her claims. "Oh.. I'm terribly sorry Charlie, I should've taken your word." She had a way of making things much more dramatic than intended, which could have come across as a manipulation tactic but in more ways than one she was being sincere. "You offered me help, and my one track mind couldn't stop suspecting you for reasons I don't even know now... Is there any way you could ever possibly forgive me, Charles?"

"Yeah, I did offer you help, and I regret it. I thought that maybe you would have changed, but no, you didn't. Your still the same old Fantasia who looks down on the less fortunate, and to me, that's sad." Charlie walked off towards the gate to route two, where three security guards stood. He didn't look back at Fantasia. He didn't know if she was cryin, or following him, or tripping on her own got damn dress, but he knew one thing... And that was that he didn't care.

"Look, I said I was sorry Charles!" She ran as fast as her heels allowed in his direction in attempts to catch up to him, "I know I shouldn't have accused you and that was wrong of me! Could you just stop walking and look at me when I am speaking to you!?"
She finally caught up to him, flipping him around to face her with an honest look. "Yes, okay I have made mistakes in the past - aren't I a human being? To be fair, you hurt me when you called my Budew a reciept, that was a low blow consitering how much you love your Pokemon; but in all honesty I wasn't sure whether or not I was hurt that you would say such a thing, or if it were because it was secretly true."

"I... I..." Charlie just couldn't find the words to speak to Fantasia.

Her eyes began to tear up as she batted at them, making sure her mascara didn't smudge. "You hurt me on purpose Charlie - and when you walked out with that shiny pokemon I realized how crude and offensive my comments were. At the time I was too bitter and quite frankly too jealous to apologize, you have a shiny Beldum that loves and respects you more than my Budew has ever done for me and I've had her for a few years trying to get her to evolve." She sniffeled and turned away from him in a very theatrical way, "I just need you to take me back to the lab so I may call my father about hiring the best detective in the region to get my Pokedex back, if you take me there and decide to go your seperate way I will respect your decision."

"Fantasia... That's not true. I just got Beldum today, I know that your Budew cares able it you just as much as him, if not then more. I... I'll take you back to the lab. And... " He didn't know what made him do it, as he was hating her guts not even five minutes ago, but he walked up and hugged her.

"Thank you." She hugged him back, stepping away after a few moments, "I assume this means we are okay now?" She smiled back at him, beginning the trek back to the lab - waving back to him with a 'follow me' gesture.

"Yeah, I guess that mea we are..." He said, walking back to the lab next to her. He traveled up the steps and through the automatic sliding doors. The security guard raised a brow, as they were coming back for their second time in the last 45 minutes. "I think the phone is over there," He said pointing to the hallway on their right. Good luck."

"Alright, let's hope he picks up this time." She stated, walking over to the phone. Taking a moment to breathe, holding her breath as she picked up the phone, praying that he would be there now that some time had passed.

Ian Kendrickson

Pokemart

@EWillden@Sho Minazuki

Ian nodded to the man and headed off to the Pokemart. At the very least he would probably need to grab some food for his Sneasel when it hatched. All of the guidebooks recommended feeding it almost immediately. Checking his balance, he noted that he only had about 750P to spend on supplies. Sighing at the meager amount of money he entered the store. At this point the egg was moving so often it seemed to shift his bag slightly from time to time, to an outsider it may have looked like there was a Pokemon trapped inside of it. If you're going to hatch, just do it. Ian thought to himself. It was slightly frustrating to have it be so close and yet still remain unhatched.

Ian walked around the store trying to keep himself on a budget. He found a few apples and some cheap snacks that would work well enough for a little while. While he did grab his snacks, he spent most of the money on Pokemon food. The potions that he was given upon registering would certainly do nicely, those would almost definitely last until he got to another town...past that? Eh, he'd just have to figure it out when he got there.

"Will this be all for you sir?" The clerk asked nicely. Ian looked at the items he had purchased and then back up at the clerk. "Yes." He said plainly. The clerk eyed him slightly, of course Ian likely came off as rude with such a short answer, but he didn't see the point in wasting breath on small talk. As he placed all of his items in his backpack and carefully put the straps back on his shoulders the egg seemed to come alive for a moment. It shook pretty violently at first and then simply stopped. Ian quickly took the backpack back off and checked inside. Everything seemed untouched, the egg included. He scowled for a moment and then sighed. "Nothing."

Rylen | Estoria City Pokemart

@EWillden@Heckno12

"Okay... And that should be everything", mostly it was camping supplies, stuff like a tinder, and something to sleep on. He wanted to travel light, but also be prepared to stay out at night if need be, the preference as that they would reach a town and take refuge in a Pokemon Center or an Inn on the road, they were generally free, except Inns, sometimes they were cheap or would just let some trainers take shelter for awhile. He still had a little left for emergencies, they should be able to buy some meals with it. He heard you won stuff for winning battles maybe he should do that. He was confident he and his Larvitar were strong enough to win some.

As he walked back to the counter, Hotaru seemed to be waiting up and had finished her transaction, so he went ahead too.

"Another new trainer? Oh you look prepared", said the clerk, as he examined what Rylen was buying.

"Oh yeah, I don't get much money to start with, so need to make sure you know",

"Good idea I'd say", after the transaction was over he walked up over to Hotaru.

"Alright, you ready?", after an affirmative the two began to walk towards the exit to see a kid sifting through his bag. Out of curiosity he peeked over at the kid. He seemed older than he was, but not by much, just a little older.

"Hey is that a Pokemon Egg? Neat, I saw one of these when I went down to Professor Elm's lab back in Johto since he was researching these... I always wondered what that egg I saw would hatch into... Hey, do you know what yours is gonna hatch into? I'll bet it'd be awesome", he seemed to be curious, and a little excited as he approached the kid.

Hotaru/Estonia Pokemart

Hotaru nodded confident that between the two of them that they should do alright. She followed him towards the exit hoping that her little contribution would actually help. The two bags of rice were indeed decent sized. They could last them the entire trip till the next town. She looked to Zed and sighed, as much as she disliked it she would have to battle along the way. If she wanted to help out she would have to do some one on ones. She would also have to catch other pokemon as well. Zed was great and all but there were pokemon that would have a advantage on him... or the two would just have a staring contest. Normal pokemon and Ghost pokemon dont effect each other to well. Unless Zed learned a move like confusion or even a physical attack. It would be cool if there was someone that would be willing to teach him some physical moves like headbutt or something.

"Hey is that a Pokemon Egg? Neat, I saw one of these when I went down to Professor Elm's lab back in Johto since he was researching these... I always wondered what that egg I saw would hatch into... Hey, do you know what yours is gonna hatch into? I'll bet it'd be awesome",

Hearing him speak suddenly after they began to leave broke her current strand of thought. This resulted in her looking towards who he was talking to. The who was a kid who looked a bit old then her. Rylen mentioned a egg and this caused her to lean over and look at it too. "Oh wow, did you get that from the daycare place?" She asked. She wondered what pokemon it was going to become as well.
She then noticed that the boy did have pokeballs in his bag but not attached to his belt. That meant he registered with the egg. Wait they let you register with a egg?... Even Rylen had his Larvitar's pokeball at his hip and Zed's was at her side as well. Therefore, he probably didn't have any other pokemon and he was going to travel alone probably with all the supplies he had crammed in there. This gave her an idea...

She looked over to Rylen and nudged him pointing to the fellow trainers belt. "Hey I think he don't have any pokemon but that egg. It could be dangerous for him to travel alone. Let's take him with us. It would be good for us to experience the egg hatching too. At least then he doesn't have to travel alone and with our supplies combined with his we all would have a chance of making it better to the next city and probably even more." She suggested. She then looked to Ian and held out her hand. "Hello, I am Hotaru. If you want you can travel with us. It would be a long walk alone... wait your going through route 2 right? If so you should join us. We are going that way too." She offered. If the trainer declined it would be okay. She could accept it, but she did hope he would accept. She really wanted to see what would come out of the egg and possibly even watch it hatch. She never really seen one do so except on television shows.

Pokemart

@Sho Minazuki@EWillden

Ian blinked in surprise as he was asked about his egg. To keep things simple, he decided to answer the questions in chronological order. "Yes. Yes. No." Satisfied with the answers he had given, he almost turned to leave. Before he had though, he heard one of the other trainers speak.

"Hey I think he don't have any pokemon but that egg. It could be dangerous for him to travel alone. Let's take him with us. It would be good for us to experience the egg hatching too. At least then he doesn't have to travel alone and with our supplies combined with his we all would have a chance of making it better to the next city and probably even more." He heard the girl, Hotaru, say. He perked up slightly. Truth be told, he was slightly uneasy about travelling before Sneasel hatched. "I'm Ian." He said shaking her hand gently. Upon being asked if he was going through Route 2 however, he simply shrugged. He hadn't really planned anything out so it would be much easier to just tag along with these two. "Sure?" he said simply. He decided that this would probably be the best course of action, while he wasn't exactly experienced at finding friends outside of people thrice his age, these two seemed to be perfectly fine asking a stranger to come along for their journey.

He opened up his bag and took the incubator with the egg back out. It was still moving pretty steadily, but didn't seem to have any cracks in it just yet. After setting the incubator down gently, he showed the other two the contents of his bag. It wasn't much, but he hoped it would still count as a contribution.
