@clanjos: Okay, um...

What I didn't get to saying before when we were chatting about it is that being an Opened Eye is not the same as ESP. Espers can exist independently(and are more likely to be triggered by drugs then a Red Strike). He could be a drug-induced esper though, since that holds less of the danger of a Red Strike, or he could have an ability that's not ESP-based but is similar.

Also sorry to say that no burning down Ry'Leh, I'm going to avoid involving the existence of the actual Cthulhu mythos.

Otherwise I don't see any problems.

I'm going to be honest- I'm not seeing any information about what an Opened Eye is or is not, in terms of abilities. Just that they used to not have abilities, and after a Red Strike they do. I'll edit though.

I'll apologize for not being a bit clearer there. To clarify, ESP is an ability that, somehow, stems from the brain and is not associated with the spirit world.

Red Strikes, which make Opened Eyes, come from the spirit world directly.

Bragi acts like he's some kind of grizzled veteran, but he's only 24 and equally immature to the people he's complaining about. lol

Bragi might need his eyes checked, because he just complained about schoolgirls acting childish.

I want to know what clowns he's seen that can use a spoon to cut through tables. That sounds like a really metal circus.

@VitaVitaAR Question: If I wanted to use Native American spirits with my character concept, would that be doable? Or am I restricted to Japanese spirits?

Spirits of that sort are tied to the land.

Therefore, you'd have to be in North America to tap into Native American spirits.

@VitaVitaAR Follow-up question- suppose the individual is possessed by the spirit, in a sort of symbiotic relationship, or willing channeler situation. Would that be acceptable?

Lol, he acts like a veteran because he is a veteran in his line of job.

He can be a little provocative, yeah. but he has a reputation to keep.

Vita is the moral author of this abomination

  • Name:Lotte Blackthorn AKA Lancelot du Lac
  • Age: 1000+ plus her mortal years.
  • Gender: Female (!) Used to be Male as a mortal.
  • Appearance:Quite a drastic change
  • Personality: Lotte is a creature of contradictions. Born a demon of lust and sin, with a body to entice, seduce and make men fall to their own disgrace by offering them carnal pleasure, she takes no joy in doing such (well, unless they are female and good looking), and merely resorts to it in order to gain an upper hand or survive. While she is naturally predisposed to deceit and two-facetness she nevertheless enjoys displays of honor, and when it suits her, she makes claims of honorable combat. Deeply cynical, she acts as if the whole cosmic order has betrayed her. She deeply craves for anything that makes her remind her of what she used to be, as well as missing what once was her glorious mortal life. Resourceful in combat, she is not above of exploiting unorthodox tactics and methods when the situation requires her to do so.
  • Equipment: Scantily clad clothes, Sexy beebs, the demonic sword known as Guinevere (Lotte picked it at random and named it at whim. It is a run of the mill demon sword, with it being extremely sharp and otherworldly durable, but pales in comparison to the big mythical swords), a cellphone (hey, she's not that outdated, okay?) and a mighty stee- okay, just a moped she pilfered from some idiot, but flying all the time is boring.
  • Abilities: As a demon, Lotte is essentially much trickier to kill than the average human. Not particularily stronger than the average human, she nevertheless boasts the uncanny ability to shrug off being skewered in vital organs and being hacked to pieces (as long as it's not the head... a severed head is instant death no matter how demonic you are), being able to regenerate as long as she has magical power to do so. Downside is that she can be compelled and burned badly by magical rituals and holy stuff. She's also supernaturally fast and nimble, and boasts quite a flight speed and mobility in the air that could put a raptor bird to shame. As a succubus, she also can drain the life of victims with skin-to skin (sparing the details, a kiss can suffice) contact to replenish her own. Suffice to say, this is extremely hard to do unless the target is bound or willing. She, as a supernatural fiend, has gained the gift of magic and dark arts.
  • Skills: Lotte was known as a mortal for being the First Sword of Camelot, and it shows. Her (his?) fighting power is not one among all of people, but one among generations. Sword of not, if it can be used and swung like a weapon, chances are Lotte can use it like if it was her own hand. However, it is slightly weaker due to not being fully adapted to her new body, although it is more than a match for the best warriors in the world. She also can ride horses deftly, but that ability is obsolete as she has wings now. Of course this allows her to make cool motorbike riding tricks. Lancelot's ability to supplant other fighters has been augmented, as now she can use magical illusions to disguise her true appearance. She has also learned dark magic arts for an extra POW on combat, but she's reluctant to use them. There's no honor in burning people with hellfire to a crisp. Plus she's not the most powerful demon at doing so.
  • Brief Backstory: Lancelot du Lac. We all know the story. Best buds with King Arthur, the greatest fighter of Camelot. And also a double faced, lustful loins-for-brains who coveted his King's wife, and sprung forth an adultery that escalated deep into a civil war, with someone called Mordred (a jerkface) killing the belowed King oops. Lancelot tried to fix his less-than stellar mistakes by trying hard, but he botched on his search of the Grail as he was not pure of heart. He apparently also renounced in his later years to all sorts of carnal lust and became a priest. Hm.

Well, that wasn't enough to pay for his mistakes, so he was sent to hell. And someone had an idea to make a ironic punishment out of it. From the ragged confused fragments of his soul, a succubus named Lotte was reborn. To be the embodiment of what once he (now she) craved, and to lure men astray much like he was once led. She probably would do a good job, and a good job she did for a while. Until someone in the spiritual pocket known as Hell got the genius idea of making a weak, wee little succubus grab a sword and face a Hell Knight for sick amusement, really.

It didn't turn as expected. It also made Lotte regain her memories of what she was once, and renaming the random blade she had grabbed Guinevere, she steeled herself in a new quest. Return to the world of the living and this time, live her own adventures and fights with no Kings and no Grails.

    Just like old times.

It didn't take long, really. There are a lot of horny occult fans in Tokyo.

I have to be honest, I never would even think of accepting this idea... if not for seeing all the thought you put into actually making it make any remote sense.
