@supertinyking:

"Ah," Osamu spoke, "hmm, tell me, would selling you the secret to Resurrection be enough to balance out the benefits you get from Blood Iron?"

Minato Arisato frowned at that.

"Because," Osamu continued, "I can teach you how to bring back your dead, including your most talented warriors and commanders, if you just let us pass."

Luna, who was nearby, tensed up and prepared her crossbow. She was not used to seeing others in the woods. In fact it had been a moth since she had any contact with anyone, so call her a bit inexperience with people. She slowly walked up, keeping her weapon aimed.

"I didn't expect to see another person in the woods" Luna said.

Kevin nods at him, keeping his cool as best he could. "Hello. I wasn't really upset, but I was curious." He gestures to Minx. "She said you were here because she was making you something... She didn't tell me what, but I assume it's something very important if a being like you really needed it that bad."

"Ahh..well...you see...Err...It's really embarassing, but, I've a pest that's managed to dig himself..actually, let me just show you." The magma man begins, before he takes off one of his boots, and bends his leg so everyone can see his toes, his body oddly..flexible. He pulled apart his toes to reveal a small hole bored in between his first two toes. "A kobold has made his home in my foot, and I can't dig the bugger out...he's also all but fireproof. My fingers are to big to truly dig in there, and I'd rather not cut open my own foot. For all my godly powers, I've not one that accounts for this specific thing...which....of course, if everyone found this out, I'd never hear the end of it." He says, before he motions to Minx.
Minx, seeing the man nod, brings over a potion, and pours a drop of it onto the small hole, and all of a sudden, a lizard person, looking like a humanoid iguana , no bigger than that of a flea, rushes out of the hole, and grows to be slightly bigger than Ilyndriel. "Oh god, what did you pour in there, concentrated sweaty socks?!" The kobold yells, before he suddenly goes cartoonishly pale, looking over at the magma man. "..N-no...hard feelins, right?" He asks, obviously terrified.
"Oh, of course not. I under stand why you did it....It's the safest spot for you on the planet, and I can't judge you for trying to keep yourself safe. However..you..cause...the worst itch I've ever had, with your wriggling. So, I do need to punish you somehow, for all the discomfort...lest your friends get the same idea..." He begins, looking around. He then spots Ilyndriel.
"You, for your crime, must protect that girl. If she comes to harm..I'll......umm...." He begins, obviously not used to dolling out godly punishments.
"You'll turn him inside out?" Minx suggests.
"No no..to barbaric...." He replies.
"....Submerge him in lava?" She retorts.
"Not harsh enough. He's all but fire proof, so lava isn't to bad for him, and it'd be like putting him in thicker bath water...." He mumbles.
"..Eat him?" She asks, out of ideas.
"Ah! That's perfect. I'll eat you. Quick, painless, but gets a point across to others. Thank you." The magma man says to Minx, with a gentle smile.

"....Awww nuts." the Kobold says, looking at Ilyndriel, obviously not ammused by the threat of being eaten. "Please tell me you're a normal kid with wings, and not some....special chosen child meant to get into danger all the time..." The kobold says, no doubt as Eclipse would walk in, if only for comedic timing.

"...I'm listening..." The astronaut says, and Delta, the woman with him, frowns as well.
"Are we really gonna wheel and deal on this?" She asks, annoyed.
"With this information, I could bring back...." He starts, looking over at Delta, and her frown softens, going from displeasure, to sadness. The other fellow, the one in the suit with no face finally peels himself off of the floor, and shakes.
"We could find another way, meaning we get both benefits....Malakai is a staunch defender of his realm, and for our assistance, he's payed us well. It'd be foolish to throw away an alliance like this, even if bringing back your fa-" The man begins, and the Astronaut snaps his attention to the man.
"If bringing him back is on the table, I'll burn every bridge I need to....You tell me how this resurrection works, and prove it to me, that it works...and I'll let you have your way with Malakai. He's a prick anyway...slipped human meat into the stew he brought with him to the last alliance meeting..." The astronaut says, and then Delta vomits, before groaning."Why..did..you..not say anything...until now?" She asks, obviously unhappy. The Astronaut looks down at his boots, now covered in vomit that has chunks of food in it.
"For that reason exactly..." He says, motioning to his shoes.

A smile from Osamu, while the rest of his group except Minato blanched at the mention of 'human meat'. His reply:

"All right. I can even ressurect the person you want ressurected right now. Just give me a memento of him or her and I can track down their soul, which is the hardest part of the process."

"I can't believe we're watching Ryo's son meddle with life and death," said Takeru T.K. Takashi. "But, no dark powers are being used; that's a consolation." He was still displeased. Either way, though, Osamu, once he recieved a memento, would then concentrate, trying to track down the soul of the Astronaut's father.

One hour later, Osamu would say:

"Success, I located the soul that is needed." And with that, he would do what he did to give Minato a new body, taking out a mass of earth from Michina Town and mixing it with Pokemon tears, and sculpting it into whatever shape and specifications the Astronaut gave. He would then, while sculpting, slowly transform the slurry of earth into flesh and clothing, before giving it the kiss of life, aka magically charged air.

He would do this three times, and the third time, the soul of the Astronaut's father would be dragged into this new body, causing it to take a sharp breath, and open its eyes, and the man would then say:

"Okay, was that last kiss really necessary?"

((Sorry for controlling the Astronaut's father for this brief second. Will give back control of him to you now.))

"I didn't expect to find another person either. I apologize if I've...Is that a crossbow?" The man asks, suddenly dropping into a stance with his blade partially drawn, but he halts half way though the drawing motion, having struck a pose, blade at the ready.
"...If you intend to shoot, make sure you don't miss, otherwise I'll of cut you down before you can reload." He warns, obviously worried about the fact she was armed. He meant nothing personal. He'd say the same for most people of such standing, humans, armed with a weapon of human origin. It made him very paranoid.

The man was massive, but not impossible. Seven feet tall, muscular, but not to the point of being a giant. He was lean, but well defined. On his chest, a huge scar over where his heart would be. His clothing, that of a cape, and a Genie's outfit, oddly enough, the baggy clothes, and the pointed shoes, although his hat was replaced with a crown, a jagged crown, as if it was made to gore foes with. His skin turned out to be exceptionally pale, unnaturally so. His eyes, a gentle lavender, filled with a warm kindness. Those who met his gaze would feel themselves relax, except for those with mental shielding, they'd feel a gentle magic sorta drift off of the shield. Not an attack, but rather, a natural case of magic.
"..Was that last kiss really needed? I can already feel my wife growing envious, that's more affection than she's given me in months." The man chuckles, looking over those gathered. "....Wait..where am I? The last thing I remember was being killed by the Queen of th...oh no..." He begins, his face showing panic, before he turns around, stepping right into some of Delta's vomit, and slipping, crashing down most likely onto Osamu, with a yelp.
"Where am I? Did the captial fall?! Where is my son, my wife, my generals?!" He asks, scrambling around, before he notes Delta, and the faceless man. "Oh good....you're alive...." He says, much of the panic leaving him.
"Yep. Miss Honey is also safe, the capital did not fall, and the Queen of the Segals was killed by your son." Delta states, with a big goofy smile. "He, in his rage, unleashed an attack that was able to obliterate her, leaving nothing but a shadow baked into a wall, which he then also destroyed. So, she's gone for now, unless someone brings her back..." She states, sorta glaring at Osamu, paranoid most likely.
The Astronaut rushes over, and hugs the huge man, his sudden movement obliterating his costume, revealing himself to be a cloth clad young man, covered in scars. "Dad!" He yells, as he slams into his father, hugging him, the huge man sliding slightly.
"Hey, Nathan..how long was I dead for?" The man asks.
"....Half a year...." Nathan replies.
"...Did you rename the empire...?" The older man asks, with a smug grin.
"...maybe..." Nathan replies, also grinning. It's a heart warming reunion, at least, it seems, to Delta, who has a gentle smile.

It was a pleasant day. The wind breezed through the tall trees, playing the nostalgic melody of ocean waves, and the sun shining down through the leaves caused dapples of sunlight to dance like a festival of fairies on the shadowy forest floor. These things could not, however, dispel the growing unease of the city.

Nineveh was hungry.

The hulking form of the walking city moved with a slow and deliberate gait, ramparts nosily pushing through the interlocked branches of the trees where she couldn't find a way to delicately pass through some opening. The cracking and snapping ruined the ambiance provided by the wind and left broken limbs and twirling leaves in an ugly smear behind her that only served to partially cover the footprints left in the soft earth from her great weight. She reached up and dislodged a twisting branch that had gotten jammed in one of her doorways, tossing it haughtily behind her. She was halfway to just charging on ahead like the generals of old, but that was probably just the hunger. Nineveh didn't get hungry like a person. She got hungry like a city. She didn't get a rumbly stomach. She got a feeling of annoyed unease, that gave way to fear, that gave way to panic and violence at the most extreme edge she had ever been too. She didn't have any idea what came next. Well, as a matter of fact she did. What she didn't know is how it applied to her as a person. She didn't have any peers to tell her what happened when a violent revolution or mass emigration happened inside your own mind and she had no interest in knowing what it felt like first hand.

With another cascade falling debris she found herself standing, mercifully, before a stream. That was good. Follow a source of water long enough and you would eventually find some civilization where you could trade for essential things like food. She stepped forward, eager to get a drink to at least have something in her storehouse, when she noticed the two beings to either side of her. Her long stride had brought her directly between the two, their weapons at the ready. Instinct kicked in then, centuries of siege warfare flooding into what passed for her mind in an instant. When a city was menaced on all sides like this it bravely just sat there and took it until the threat got hungry and went away.

She froze stock still between them there, one hand plaintively outstretched toward the stream, and cursed how little food she had.

The sound of a Soul's return. Such arts were powerful, yet forbidden. It was an act of great power with an even greater effect. But death did not release the fallen easily. Especially those that had managed to elude it for so long. It was a small thing, this breach of protocol, this little violation of the laws of nature, this taboo act. But it did not go unnoticed. In fact, Osamu would learn later, having done such a thing in the wider Multiverse had earned him the attention of many.

Within the confines of a realm not bind by the strict law of logic lay a realm of twisted order governed by a mad god. Tables stretched into infinity within a landscape of crystal chandeliers and wooden floors as Gods and Devils sat side by side. Beings from planes of existence beyond the comprehension of mortal races observed the flow of time, silently marking the confluence of potential realities. Empires spanning entire universes bargained, representatives glaring at one another over tables of delicacies that confounded any attempt at categorisation or description. The souls of heroes and villains sat shackled and moaning, a false grin on their faces as they served these illustrious guests and performed for their amusement. Great pieces of art could be seen adorning the twisting floor, great structures of magic and metal that twisted space itself alongside complex quantum entanglements arrayed in a painting of possibilities.

The master of this realm sat behind the bar, observing myriad realities. His fine suit was in the italian fashion save for it's bright red colouration and golden sparkles, putting one in mind of a game show presentator. A matching top hat with a golden trim hid most of the figure's face in shadow, revealing only two silently glowing blood-red eyes and an impossibly wide grin, an array of teeth that seemed normal one moment yet viciously sharp the next, but always pristine. He leaned on a long black cane, it's head a humanoid face that seemed to contort in agony, silently howling in despair as it's silver features shifted. The Mad God known only as Bob observed, chuckling, as a new player made itself known within the larger scope of the Multiverse. It seemed that once more one arrived who sought to overcome death itself, an endeavour that had proven the end of many. He glanced through their future, the myriad possibilities and impossibilities that formed the eternally contradictory timeline. It seemed that they had set things in motion beyond their current comprehension. But soon they would learn the size of the ripple they had created. Amused the God sat down, observing all that came to pass.

In a place best left forgotten by time the air was filled with the scent of blood and fear. Rows of figures hung chained from the walls in various states of dissection, organs removed and occasionally replaced with strange pieces of machinery. Pipes and tubes ran in and out of their bodies, and old grey machinery steadily thrummed as it worked it's way through the readings. The monotone was broken by occasional screams from deeper within the complex, both human and less so. But the figures upon this wall lay silent, barely breathing, their minds and thoughts beyond repair. It was within this lab that a large bank of computers suddenly lit up, the flashing red lights and constant beeping demanding attention.

The mistress turned from her work, bothered by the machine's cries, until she began to read the report. Dropping her other work she fully immersed herself in the text flashing across the small screen, frantically typing away at an old-fashioned keyboard. A small smile began to work it's way across her face as she read the readings. Souls were her speciality, and this was certainly an event worth noting. In fact it would warrant investigation. Such things should not be possible, should not be done. And yet here it was. Data didn't lie. Almost giddy with anticipation she stood, walking with long strides towards the tool bench. Retrieving several blades from a nearby cupboard she grabbed a large block resembling something akin to a walky-talky, and fiddled with the dials. For too long she had secluded herself from the rest of the multiverse, drawing herself back into her work. It was time for a field trip. And by the end of the day, one way or another, blood would be spilled.

Seemingly from nowhere, a signal struck the large Genome ship. It was received but not registered, the electronic transfer of data corrupted the moment it was formed. The signal took form, living data flowing through the electrical network of the ship. It's many security protocols would have halted any programmable malice, but this being possessed true sentience, and an ability to manipulate the digital realm far beyond any normal virus. Soon the basic programming of the entire ship was undermined and alarms began to sound as the pilot discovered massive system malfunctions occurring in all sectors. Weapons, Teleportation, Tractor Beam, Life Support.... all data seemed to be fluctuating in impossible ways, and the SOS signal came out more as a distorted mass of data, a corrupted stream of virus-ridden muck that would only serve to harm any who attempted to pick up on it. Metallic laughter echoed through the halls as the many crew members ran around, dismanteling control stations in a vain attempt at fixing their ship before it completely broke down. Then it was followed by an unearthly shriek, a sound that was more than just a vibration, a signal that tore their very souls from their bodies. It was horror and death incarnate, a virus that struck the soul and mind and tore them to shreds. Within moments the running had stopped, as all life within the ship had been eliminated. Corpses floated through the halls, faces twisted into an image of anguish.

The leaders of the Genome Empire, as well as the leaders of the Mon Alliance, both of whom currently found themselves aboard Imperialdramon, would find their discourse suddenly interrupted. The large saucer-like ship the Genome Empire had used appeared to have dropped the tractor beam, but was instead speed towards Imperialdramon on a collision course. It's shields flickered on and off and it's propulsion twitched, no doubt the more functional Imperialdramon would be able to twist out of the way of a head-on collision. However even a cursory scan would show the reason for the ship's malfunctioning propulsion. The generator was being overloaded, and in mere moments the entire thing would go up in an immense explosion. Whomever had set this little situation up intended to ensure that everything nearby was completely destroyed.

"....I think we got off on the wrong foot here. I'm Issac. I'm here to relax....to..meditate beside the river. Feel the flow of nature. That sorta thing." He explains, as he sheaths his blade. "I mean no harm to you, or anything here, save for a creature seeking to harm me...As..for our friend here, hello..who..are..you?" He asks, not sure how to speak to the..odd..city person.

However, there was something wrong. Something very, very, wrong. As this mysterious virus made its way though the ship, a sound would ressonate though out the ship, and even as life support, and other such things failed, the living creatures within were kept safe, but that was a cause of even more confusion, and possibly alarm. A total of 249 life forms were still aboard the ship. Another worrying thing is that, with some basic searching, is that there was only 20 men manning the ship, the rest being robotic assistants. Even counting them, that's more than 10 times the amount of creatures on board, then there should be. This mass of life forms seemed for the most part small, save for one, larger creature. Two hundred and forty eight human child sized creatures, and one adult sized creature.
Then, a message was bounced back, a hazzy, patchy transmission. Not a virus, just a radio signal.

"I see you..."

"I see you...I know you..."

"Stay out of this.."

Then there's a horrific ear blistering screech, like that of a devil's howling laugh, before the life forms vanish, leaving the ship clean, void of any of the crew, nor any of the strange life forms detected before. It was left spotless, save for a small puddle of acidic green liquid. The singular clue as to what was there, and maybe, they were planning...

-----------

@Letter Bee

"....." Logar would turn, and look to his ship, his face forming a scowl. "...They're all gone. The crew. They've vanished into thin air...what the hell..." He starts, before he turns back to Osamu. "Let you pass, was that the deal for me? To let you attack a trade partner...Well, while my son may of made such a deal, I can't allow that. We've a reputation to uphold..." Logar begins, before he smirks a bit. "But, of course, if you sneak in, don't let anyone know who you are, or that you had anything to do with us, and sorta just...did your thing, and left..well..Who's to blame then? No one knows, right?" He hints, trying to get a message across, mayhap the more dim of the group not getting the point, or those that are to dull to get points, no matter how sharp.

The son sighs. "Always were a more sneaky one, huh..." He asks his father.
"You learn that what people don't know, normally doesn't hurt them. What you know, however, can hurt them a lot, if they don't know it....So..consider this a....control of information flow." He says, patting his son on the head, as if he were but a young child. "That, and I remember the last get together we had with Lord Malakai, that the stew he brought had some Soylent Green in it...." Logar mutters, frowning.

The entity that had slipped onto the boat seemed to evaluate the other being's presence, and then deemed it irrelevant at current. It had more pressing concerns, as it's prey was just within it's reach. Reaching out the virus spread through every known system, corrupting everything it touched. Files were erased, data removed, systems broken down. Within moments it was in complete control of this vessel, using a few of the surviving robotic servants in order to operate those tasks that required manual operation. It seemed there had been some damage as whatever other force acted here had slaughtered the previous inhabitants, but nothing that threatened the integrity of the ship itself. Which was good, as the ship was instantly pushed to it's maximum, the energy core being driven into overdrive as every system sprang to max power. All of the leaders of the Mon Alliance were in one place. He would leave them no time to realise their mistake. Imperialdramon trembled as the very tractor beam that had moment before been lifted was now once more applied, this time at double strength, aiming to pull the large Digimon/vessel closer. At the same time the disk-shaped Genome ship shot forward, rapidly accelerating to max speed as it set a collision course. Weapons were fired more for diversion and minor damage, lasers aimed mainly for Imperialdramon's eyes and ears, as the larger ship shot closer, like a skyscraper-sized bullet to the face.

At the same time an urgent distress signal would echo throughout the local subspace sectors. An interdimensional message sent on several very specific frequencies, even as an odd jamming presence sought to isolate the Mon Alliance from calling in allies. Many of the nearby ships from the Genome Empire received an urgent distress call from Nathan's capital ship, declaring that they had been attacked by a strange opponent known as the Mon Alliance. All forces were called to immediate action, dropping prior engagements to defend their liege and lord. A similar message was sent to Malakai's homeworld, being received by the tyrant's minions and personal guard. A force known as the Mon Alliance was rapidly approaching his world and was currently engaged with the Genome forces he had deployed to guard his world from attack. They required assistance, however, to crush this opponent once and for all.

The tactician chuckles at this prospect, gazing down at the newly discovered kobold. "Greetings, creature. I'm this girl's self-appointed body guard. I've yet to ascertain if danger follows her, but I know for a fact that it clings to me rather frequently. Do try to keep up, lest you want to die an early death..." Michael declares. Intimidation was usually his first of many tests for breaking in a new recruit. Of course, considering the size and immediate personality of this creature, he figured this might be an easy one to break.

A shutter runs through the city. A collective sign of nervous relief. "Is this a peace overture?" she said, unmoving. The voice is deep, distorted as though it echos from far away, and distinctly feminine. "It's just, usually tribute is more than that. If all you would like is my name, it's Nineveh, but are you sure? You don't seem particularly defeated or anything."
