I feel like keeping this up is a chore for most people, rather than something fun. I like the idea of hcl, but maybe we do need a truly, fresh start....

I sorta agree with you on this. We have already gone through several reboots. Honestly, if we're gonna go with the fresh start, we gotta do it in the way that breaks any ties to the original. Make it into its own thing. Not just another reboot. Y'know?

Thanks, but I still need to work out how this is gonna be done. Granted, I have a fairly good idea of what I want to do. So far, I've thought about just scrapping the bulk of the lore. It's still gonna be a multivere rp. I can say that much. But it's mainly to make things less convoluted. Keeping the lore simple could be a good first step.

I have several ideas, but right now it's three minutes to eleven thirty on my end, I'm tired, and I may have to put some more thought into it tomorrow. But other than that, I'm gonna try to do better as gm this time around. I feel like I've been neglecting that responsibility.

Alright, given the current state of hcl, we may need a fresh start as tiny suggested. I have a fairly good idea of what needs to be done, but I am open to suggestions.

Here's my ideas so far, and honestly this isn't the only time they've been brought up, nor am I the only person to bring them up. This is just what I think will help in the near future.

1. Getting rid of the lore seems like a good start. Hcl has a rich lore, given how long it's been going. But I would say it's a little too rich. Though it may not do much, at the very least it will make things less complicated.

2. In the previous reboot, I guess you could call it hcl 3 if you wanted to, Matt had this thing where it was sorta like a cs, but instead of chars, it was universes. While it had its flaws, it seems like it will help add a bit of depth. This one is still up in the air however, as there will be dimensions that are introduced, but only traveled to once or twice. So I guess some (but not all) universes would be an exception to this. Honestly, I'm not sure how well this idea will work, but at this point it may be necessary.

Seems like an interesting concept. It would just be another multiverse RP. Suppose we could call it Heaven's Snack Bar or something. Also, my only addition would be that the Universe CS should be short and simple. I made the mistake of making it too detailed and complex, and nobody bothered actually filling them in. Instead there should just be a list of short descriptions of universes.
