@Lady Amalthea@Sigil Mind if I jump back in with a Froggy post at this juncture? I won't get it done until Saturday morning my time but I'd like to get back in just before the end of day and massive time jump. HOWEVER, if it's too late I can wait until the jump and come back after that. :)

@Charnobylisk Yes you can, just know if you do you will be on the four day counter until we get to the time jump - so up to you if you want to jump back in now or just wait until the time jump when the posting schedule will relax.

@Lady Amalthea Duh. Forgot that the posting lax wasn't happening until after the skip. Might be cleaner if I wait. Now I'll just need to sit and be impatient as fuck.

You two have characters that are up for interview in Newnan's Mess Hall. Now we find ourselves in a situation. It has always been assumed that Ash conducts interviews, sometimes alone, sometimes with other Leads. Usually these are done one at a time. But the kicker here is that they have never been RPed out. Tedious back and forth stuff, even if we all sit down and collab it. Plus, we're trying to get to a time skip.

Hopefully, a small gathering in the back of the Hordebuster involving booze and closure is forthcoming, as well. But we'll get to that.

What I need from you: This is a standard entrance interview. If he thinks something is fishy, there are no guarantees. Ash is a fairly observant guy. That being said, if there's anything that your characters are going to withhold or refuse to discuss, let me know here. If you're going to have any questions for him, let me know that here, too. And if there's anything your characters will be volunteering, ditto. Also, we have a few job openings. Let me know what you want to shoot for. Job assignments will be part of the time jump.

@Sigil Chloe'll try to hide the fact that her former occupation was drug smuggler. Probably dress it up as "working in pharmaceuticals" or something like that. She'd likely ask him if he'd seen Riley. I think she'd probably be helpful in medical?

Beatrice will be her usual, slightly quiet kinda judgmental self. She'll probably ask questions about how often incidents occur, but she'll stay in Newnan. Would be open to discussing her life in Justice if directly asked about that. For job assignments, don't have anything specific I'm aiming for with her.

@Morose For Tiffany, she wouldn't hide anything. She'd be honest about her travels, about how she stayed in a school previously and how it turned out, her incident with Ray, and Franklin. In terms of questions, she would probably ask how often you go scavenging/recruiting, what leadership is like (i.e. is there group voting, do people just make decisions, etc.) and how morale is and how it's handled. In terms of jobs, I am unsure as to what she may be useful in, perhaps Recruiting if that's still viable due to her social skills, security maybe. I'll leave it up to you really to see where she may best fit.

@Caits No worries, it's been hectic for everyone lately so just left it open just in case. THis little posting break plus the time jump should make things a lot easier on everyone. I cannot wait till you see what we have for the time jump. Everyone is going to get a lot more freedom, a lot less LLA rolls, and the flow to actually do things. ^_^

@Charnobylisk @Morose @Rivaan @Sigil @FantasyChic @Caits @Nallore @Oliver - Alright, quick update - with the time jump everyone will be moved from Franklin to Newnan into 1 large community. A 3rd wall will be built over the time skip period to enlarge the city. Franklin folk as well as late day arrivals from the trip between Franklin and Newnan will be living between the 2nd and 3rd wall, Newnan folk that are currently assigned permanent places (not new arrivals from Franklin today) will be within the inner most wall. Telling you this to give you an idea of where people will be. The maps will be updated I hope before the end of the week to give you a better idea of where all everyone will be and what new places will pop up.

Now - can each of you drop me and Sigil a tag here with your character names and a list of possible "jobs" they might be good at, as well as a list of things your characters would like to learn over the time jump? These will be considered when it comes to new skills that you will be adding to your character sheets after the time jump.

Also, remember, start sending Pm's to everyone about what type of relations you think your character might have with the current ones. Here is a list of active current characters in RP...

Since this is such a long time jump there will be relations needed for all of them, even if it is a small one in passing. Make sure to pm each other about this and don't just write up the relation without consulting the other person. (ANd for the love of god, when you pm each other don't just send a "what do you think?" - that's lazy. You've seen the characters in action, you have the cs's, so you should have something.)

Okay, think that covers it for now. Drop Sigil and I a tag here with the requested information and start those Pm's. We have a lot of amazing things planned for you all come the time jump!!! So let's get this done.

Not really sure what kind of skills I want. He'd probably do whatever work was offered him to the best of his capabilities, rather than requesting something specific. I suppose he'd be most likely to pick up skills like basic agriculture, scavenging, honing weapons skills, maybe some first aid or something.

And as to an occupation, the same goes as above. Being 11 (12 by the end of the timeskip), he doesn't really have a specialty. Which isn't to say that he's not good at anything, just that there's no particular field of work he's been trained in. Again, it would be in his nature to take whatever position he was asked to take and try to perfect it as best he could. I don't think he's the kind of kid who would make suggestions or advocate for a specific position, because he's highly conscious of what kind of impression he's making on others. Wouldn't want to seem pushy.

So all in all, taking his age and personal demeanor into account makes it a bit hard to predict what kind of skills he'd pick up over such an extensive period of time, but I did my best. Sorry if this was an unsatisfactory read.

@Lady Amalthea@Sigil So for Amelia, she's good at sneaking about the place, can cook, can clean. Basically do lots of chores and go sneaking about in case some light scouting needs to be done. Beside that, I'm thinking she'd want to learn basic medicine to help out around the infirmary and to shoot with rifles. ^^

Tiffany is really good at talking to people, charming and convincing them. Unsure of what job that may fall under though Recruitment looked promising. She could also be a pretty good teacher if you needed one. She can make bows and arrows so she could probably help stock that up.

As for skills she'd like to learn, I feel she may want to learn some medical knowledge given all that has happened. Up until now she has had to rely on others to save people. The only thing she did was cut off Ray's leg and while that seemed to save his life, she felt she could have done better to make sure he would have been ok. Other than that, I also feel she may want to learn agriculture, perhaps helping grow the medicinal herbs they need or the food.

I'm open to interpretation though.
