Jett Haven

Jett glanced at Kasuke as he could see a smile on her lips because of the story. Cheesy he knew...and if it had been at anyother time he probably would have been grinning like a fool for getting a smile out of her. But now wasn’t that time, he just gave a ghost of a smile while he listened to her reasoning for wearing only her running shoes.

”I agree with you there...but the fashion choice was the interesting part.’ He simply said as he glanced to Jojo when Kasuke mouthed something to her. He didn’t know the girl in front of him, she wasn’t in class...but there had been a lot of changes, perhaps she was a transfer? Or Kasuke just knew her from before. From her confrontation with what appeared to be Fumika’s sister, she seemed to have an attitude very similar to Ezra.

Before he could say anything else he looked at Kasuke again when she asked in a very caring voice how his injury was. He blinked a few times, wondering why now she was all caring after trying to be her normal sassy self. Not that he minded by any means. He instinctively reached up to the side of his head, surprisingly good despite what happened….that and the fact he lost his quirk because of it. It was just a dull headache now, that was actually slowly making a comeback after all that yelling. He glanced up at Jojo, he didn’t want to say that he lost his quirk in front of a stranger. Losing a quirk is not normal… he didn’t want it to get around”I still have a bit a of a headache that’s coming back. Other than that, it’s still the same... he said while looking her in the eye. But he shook his head. I should be fine though… I don’t want to hold you girls up from your run. Sorry for that... He said clearing his throat as he started to rub the back of his neck again. Not wanting to ruin someone else night by staying with him cause it was the nice thing to do.

Dulga Tarata | Kaida Baeumont | Retha Hal

Kaida was surprised when she saw Dulga walk in with all her stuff. She didn’t even look to see who her roommate was. Apparently with her dropping her luggage on her bed this meant she was it. She was shocked at this thought. Her mind going towards class of what she did. But then even before that when she offered her cloak...she was so confused when she thought of Dulga. She missed the fact of Dulga walking towards her and covered her in her cloak again and wrapping her arms around her as if to protect her from the other two girls. She didn’t move, she froze. She didn’t know what to think of this now, though...she was quite warm.

As the others left, she pulled away suddenly but gently, looking away to her bed as she said “Um… Thank you…” was all she could muster really. A bright shade of pink on her cheeks again in embarrassment.

Looking down at Kaida, Dulga tried to think of what to say. What to do. What would her mother say? First, Dulga did wrong by Kaida. She needed to apologize and explain herself. ”I’m sorry. For what happened in class. I was trying to goad Mako to attack me. I knew that by reading one of the sheets she’d try to stop me. I… Noticed that Mako said you had a secret. So I chose your paper knowing that Mako would not like that. I… Didn’t consider your feelings.” Dulga said with a hint of sadness. She realized how callous that made her sound. Dulga wasn’t sure what to do with that. ”I should have thought about it more. Mako’s lesson was all about thinking like a villain not acting like one. And despite the praise Mako gave me I failed her lesson. And… Hurt you.” Dulga clutches her arms, all six of them.

”Um… Are you still mad at me?”

Kaida didn't look at her as she explained why she did that in class. She was glad she apologized for what she did. She saw her reasoning a little but still it was her secret. She admitted wrong and despite not wanting to give up her anger so quickly she couldn't help herself… she certainly knew when she wasn't nice and how she felt afterwards. She didn't even realize till it was done.

So she couldn't hold it against her.because she was her classmate and roommate for the next year. She sighed as she looked at her finally, hearing her sadness in her voice and her stance, very similar to hers… Shaking her head she said. “Thank you… I… I'm just scared of what people would think of my quirk when they see it.” She already knew her quirk so she was glad she could talk about it with someone. “It just reminds me of my father…. and most people are scared when they see it. I know I'll have to show them one of these days but...but I don't want them to judge me on it.“ she looked to Dulga again. Realizing her quirk was out of the open and she knew she hid it as best she could with her cloak. “Sorry...“

Without a moment of hesitation Dulga stepped towards Kaida and hugged her again. ”I completely understand Kaida. I… Know how that feels like. People judge me. I’ve learned to not care but… As you can tell I wear this cloak to hide it anyways. For many reasons.” The cloak wasn’t just her mother’s memento. It provided Dulga comfort both practically and mentally. ”I wouldn’t want to do to you what I don’t want you to do to me.” A bit of old timey wisdom that actually came from her father. Dulga could only wish she could help Kaida deal with her anxiety somehow. And she doubts that she could find a cloak big enough to cover Kaida when she goes full dragon.

”We should finish packing. Or at least I need too. And do our homework. And get something to eat. If you want.”

She nodded and felt a little worse. Despite being glad at receiving another hug. She had it easy, she could literally hide it from plain sight but Dulga had a permanent thing she had to cover. “I would like that. Food always helps.” She said with a small smile. She was about to offer to help unpack when suddenly their door slammed open, causing her to jump. Even more. Suddenly the room became much more warm and comforting at the same time. She looked to see a woman in her hero's outfit standing there, asking. What was wrong.

She was standing slightly behind Dulga but came out and said softly. ”One of the other students just... Scared me.“ she waved her hands not to get her in trouble “NOT ON PURPOSE. I-I-I just had a bad memory come from it.” She said so quietly. As she felt her arms. Old ghost of wounds coming back and somehow aching again. “I'm so sorry for making a ruckus…”

Retha put her hands on her hips as she listened to Kaida explain herself normally the heat would go down when she was told the truth and it didn’t seem like she was being lied to but for some reason the heat in the room only raised which was very unfortunate for the entire dorm especially those who were on this floor in particular. Retha nodded her head and excused herself in deeper into the room listening to the dragon girl talk while she searched the room for any lingering intruders. If someone came into this room itself, there were only two actual possibilities, she stood up from looking under the bed and stared at both girls.

“Ms. Tatara’s quirk isn’t teleportation so she couldn’t have just jump scared you with the door closed and the fact that you screamed means you had an uninvited visitor, so either the door was closed and someone in fact did teleport in which I’ll remind you using such quirks in prohibited in the dorms or Ms. Baemount you left your door open for uninvited guests” She explained as the room became smoldering hot, if the door weren’t open it would be completely unbearable by most “This dorm is home to many students of both genders and the boys are at a very troublesome age, I’d hope you weren’t careless enough to leave it open by accident for someone to mistakenly take it as an invitation”

She gulped. “Forgive me… I might have left the door open.” She said quickly. She was a little nervous that she was so serious about the facts of the matter. She didn’t hope to get into trouble “I’m sorry… It won't happen again, the whole ordeal was an accident. The girl wasn’t trying to scare me on purpose, she was just excited to meet new people I guess. I may have been lost in my thoughts.” She did though love the fact the room was so warm. She so wanted to give the teacher a hug...but still was afraid at this point. She then realized she was speaking of Dulga. “Oh… It wasn’t Dulga, it was another pink haired girl… Dulga was helping me.”

Dulga stood protectively between Kaida and the den mother. She’s never seen her before but she quickly figured out from her attitude and attire that she must be working for the school. So while Dulga didn’t expect any trouble from her, she didn’t want Kaida to be in distress either. ”Sensei I promise you that Kaida and myself are fine. A few neighboring dorm mates come over and played around. I just got back from my home to pick up a few of my belongings.” Dulga motioned towards the multiple carrying cases laying on her bed.

”My hands were full you see, so the open door really helped me get inside. As for the girls, they’re young and excited for not only their first day of school but also dorm life. They couldn’t help but be rather passionate about it.” Dulga’s voice was kept calm and steady even as the temperature rose. One thing was for certain, Dulga kept her cool no matter what the situation was.

”Let’s not raise a fuss so early into the school year. There’ll be a bit of horseplay, a few pranks, but I promise you nothing so major as breaking and entering. Kaida and I were about to head downstairs for dinner. Would you like to join us?”

The room heat finally started to drop once Dulga stepped in and clarified everything in a calm respectful manner to which Retha herself appreciated, as it stands her inspection was done after confirming no one was lingering about cupping her fingers around her chin and thought about the pink haired girl who might have come it, it’d have to be someone very friendly and excited to meet new people and given the circumstances that could have been any number of the little ones running about so it’d be best just to leave it be at this point. Dulga had a good point that everyone might just be excited about dorm life and school altogether so she had to remember these were children so a lot of this would be expected.

“I will have to decline your invitation, Ms. Tatara, although you have my thanks for offering,” She said before walking closer to the two of them “I may seem hard on you student’s but I only wish for all of you to feel safe and secure during your stay here.”Retha leaned down as if to give a kiss on their foreheads, but stopped herself, in her motherly mood she had almost forgotten her body wasn’t safe to be touched by anyone and backpedaled from the action “Ahem, please excuse me ladies, remember to look after one another and to not leave your doors open especially at night.” And wish that the den mother was gone.

Kaida listened to Dulga and nodded in agreement at her explanation, she frowned when the temperature dropped a little. Not much and not really noticeable to the others. She smiled when she offered to have the teacher come down and eat with them. She would really enjoy that. But sadly she declined the invitation. She went on to explain why she was so hard on them. She mentioned she only wished for them to be safe during their stay here. She leaned down slightly, which was odd, as she backpedaled. But the warmth of the room and that simple action reminded her much of..a fond memory.

She smiled that the teacher was protective of her students, and now she was calm at the feeling of the heat. She blushed as she took a few steps towards the teacher.Um...I know this is going to sound weird...but may I give you a hug? Heat calms my nerves and helps me relax… and I can’t help but give you a hug.“ Her face was Truly beat red at her own request. One did not simply ask for hugs from teachers when just meeting them.

Retha was just about to leave when Kaida stepped up with an odd request, thinking back to her report on her she was supposed to have heat immunity but honestly, she didn’t completely believe that. Turning around to face the young woman she carefully weighed her options, the suit itself regulated the immense amount of heat she generates or at least it tried too, though the design flaw was that it failed to stop all of it and faltered whenever her emotions raised. Kaida looked like she was really looking forward to receiving that hug and more than enough evidence indicated that Kaida wouldn't be harmed if her suit was on at least to her knowledge.

“S-sure.” Retha said, taking a few steps forward and leaned down on one knee slightly shaking at the thought of hurting the girl, but her body was moving on its own being that she hasn't received any kind of wanted physical contact since she was in her early twenties. The hug itself was slow and slightly awkward, but full of love, the heat Kaida felt from touching the teacher was intense, so much so not even the suit could fix it.

Kadia smiled and she moved into the hug, she thought it odd the woman got on a knee to give her a hug but that didn’t stop her. She wrapped her arms around the woman and gave her a big hug, she seemed to squeeze even more when Rethas heat started to increase because of her touch. She did not pull back once, despite the heat. A large smile on her lips as she was giddy as a schoolgirl now, her entire body was instantly warmed up as she snuggled her face into Retha’s shoulder.

A faded memory of a woman holding her closely with such heat and warmth. A beautiful smile was all she could see as she was tucked closely to the woman's bosom. Also a soft hum that was so soft she really could only hear it because her head was against her chest.

She slowly pulled away, much to her displeasure of doing so and smiled sweetly at Retha, tilting her head to the side a bit ”Thank you so much! I feel a million times better now!" She said with steam coming off her clothes.

Dulga allowed Kaida and Retha to have their moment, somewhat worried for Kaida’s dignity. She guessed that Retha was able to exert a great amount of heat and worried that Kaida was going to burn her clothes off. Fortunately however no shenanigans occurred. Deep below Dulga could hear Mamoru call for dinner. ”Sounds like dinner is ready. Are you sure you don’t want to join us, sensei? I understand you’re busy but… I think it would make Kaida happy.” Dulga nodded to her roommate. She didn’t want to impose of course, but seeing Kaida look so blissful made Dulga want to keep Kaida happy, even if Retha makes raises the heat.

Retha stood back up and took a step back, that hug was the first time she had real physical contact with anyone since her own daughter was born, that realization alone brought back more than its fair share of repressed memories. A misguided man and an affection-starved woman conceiving a daughter, then both the baby and man were gone without a trace; her own little one, her little Kaida. Reatha looked a bit sad now and when Dulga snapped the den mother out of her trance by asking again if she wanted to go to lunch with them, at this point she would have taken them up on that offer but now she had to check out something for herself.

“I’m very sorry ladies but I’m afraid I have to, I have to make sure the rest of the building is up to snuff and suitable for dorm life, I’ll be in my office downstairs next to the main entrance if you need me though.” Retha explained before walking off in truth to head directly to her office to do a little research.

Kaida frowned slightly that she declined once more, but was also glad that Dulga was adamant on asking her. She really was a sweet girl… When she wasn’t trying to fight. When Retha left she looked to Dulga and said more confidently now, “Thank you for your concern… But I should be good for a little bit. Just think of that as a recharge” She said with a giggle. She looked down at her clothes, though not ruined, she could see they were slightly shiny now, just like if an iron was pressed on them too long. ”Oops…” Was all she said as she moved to her closet. ”Well let's get changed first before we head down?” With that, she quickly undressed and got into her riding pants, and a loose white blouse. It didn’t seem like something that one would wear for comfort… But it reminded her of home… And her horses that she missed. She slipped on some knee high leather boots and sighed contently as she looked at Dulga. ”Ready?”

”Just give me a chance to change out.” Dulga still needed time to put all her things away, but she could get her clothes easily. Dulga took off her cloak, mask, and school uniform. During that brief moment Dulga’s entire body was exposed; her arms weren’t just the only part that was heavily burnt. It was her four arms, the entirely of her back, her thighs, and calf. The burns also went up to her neck and the left side of her face. It was as if someone had thrown a fireball at her back. Kaida wouldn’t be able to see her front and wouldn’t for long as Dulga slipped on a simple pair of dark green sweatpants and a strange looking sweater; it looked like sweater except it was entirely backless in order to accommodate her extra arms. It was a backless halter neck aryan sweater. It seemed rather trendy if it wasn’t for the fact Dulga also wore completely unflattering sweatpants with it.

Putting her cloak and mask back on Dulga almost looked indistinguishable, with only her dragon themed slippers being the odd thing about her outfit. Looking at Kaida, Dulga smiled underneath her mask. ”You look cute. Let’s get some dinner.” Dulga lead Kaida out of the dorm and to the dining room. After locking their door of course. Wouldn’t want Retha to lecture them about leaving their door open again.

Walking around with her roommate and friend, she took note of the may students around them, but a lot didn't seem to notice their little outfits. She stopped however, when she saw something that was obviously being set up. The only time she ever saw something like this was whenever her old school would have dances or small grade parties. Hearing Fumika shoug about about something, she went to take a step forward, when Mamoru suddenly shouted what she needed to. She jumped a bit from the sudden noise and she calmed her racing heart.

”U um sure” She sweat dropped as she watched her drove right for the obvious kitchen area. Shaking her head in amusement, she went into the dining room for the first time. She was amazed at the room before her. Windows lined one side of the room, the sun shining through, the floor was covered in a red title that was several shades of red in some area. There was a single table in the center with a half wall next to it with flower pots lining it. Walking over, she sniffed some of the many color flowers and she smiled. Looking closely at the table, she could see the lines that indicated that it could be separated.

Nodding her head determined and she rolled up her sleeves and began to work. After ten minutes of working, she was able to separate the table into 8 pieces and placed them evenly apart. She wiped her forehead and she sat up smiling.

”Ah one part down, that wasn't as bad as i thought it would.” She thought as she stretched. Hearing someone walk in, she looked up to see Mamoru come in.

”Hi Mamoru! she wavewd at another girl who appeared in the room with a friendly smile on her lips.

Haruka Sanegeyama

While she would've been content to spend the rest of her night in and have the rice balls prepared earlier for dinner, and was already currently halfway through one of the more well-shaped ones in her tray, a very loud girl's voice outside announced that Donny was cooking dinner for everyone. That sounded pretty nice. Onigiri was lovely on its own, but something hot and freshly-made was preferable. She imagined Yukari would be headed there as well, so having at least two people she was okay with around would make attending a bit easier. After finishing off the last few bites of the ball she'd been munching on, Haruka closed the tray and returned it to the deskside mini-fridge she'd set up, then pulled on a plain hoodie and her shoes before leaving the room.

She made her way to the dining area. With her hands in her pockets, she poked her head around the door frame and took a peek in. It was very nice, fancy for a school, even, at least a hell of a lot fancier than any normal school's cafeteria. For a brief moment, she felt underdressed for the occasion, but other than some other casual clothes and her uniform, there weren't many other options. Taking a step forward, she tensed her jaw a little at the sight of unfamiliar people. "Oh geez. Should've figured others would show up. Oh well. Can't stay a stranger forever, and you've got a solid two for two on nice people so far. Just say hi and you're good." After her little mental reinforcement, she pulled one hand out and waved to the other people that had shown up so far. "Uh, hey."

JoJo

Joann sucked on her teeth having her challenged brushed off; honestly, she was looking forward to that fight, not only to see if the girl would stand her ground but to test out her own abilities. So much stuff just happened all at once between then and now that it honestly became troublesome to even be around. Eventually, JoJo calmed down and scratched the back of her head, accepting that today’s events would become the norm of her soon to be school life. Shaking her head, she looked back at her roommate who seems to be having a conversation with a boy she didn’t know though they talked like they were friends so she hovered around and waited for the conversation to end. Her first instinct was to just continue her run, but being that the rich girl willingly joined meant she’ll want to continue together more likely than not plus it gave Joann something pretty to look at.

Eventually, however, Mina and Jett’s conversation started to wane on a whole lot longer than it needed to causing JoJo to involuntarily put up more of an irritable face before she corrected herself. Thankfully, her roommate looked up and mouthed some form of concern for her to which she responded.

“Hey Mina, I’m going to check out the gym and see if they repaired it; meet me over there when you’re done”

Yashiro Michiko

Michiko nodded at Donny’s instruction and took some of the cookies that would serve as the crust. and rolled up her sleeves and putting on an apron. She looked to Yukari and smiled when she took the cookies out. Thank you Yozukura-kun! She called out to her as she then pulled her hair into a cute bun. After washing her hands she got to work. Like donny she was confident in how she handled the food and as she mixed them together, like she did this a thousand times before. Looking at Donny she saw him put on a headband with ‘success’ written across it. She couldn’t help but laugh, and infectious and bubbly one as she tried to cover her open mouth with the back of her hand, being sure she didn’t touch her palm.

When he would surely look over she managed to pull it down to a giggle. I’m sorry, But I wasn’t expecting that. It’s adorable. She said as she turned back to her dish. She noticed Acion suddenly wince in pain, holding in a yell but after watching for a few moments she realized it wasn’t serious. She continued making her cheesecake. Despite Donnies timing for preparing it, she blew threw the task with ease, and when she was done, she took a damp paper towel and laid it over it while placing it in the fridge. It was a little trick she learned to help make it cool faster.

Once done she cleaned her hands once more going over to Acion as he tested his food. She could easily tell by the look of them that he wasn’t a good cook…. She placed a hand on his shoulder as she looked down at the roasted pickles and then up to him with a sweet smile. I think You killed them…. she said with a giggle.

She then Looked to donny. Anything else I can do to help? She asked in a cheery voice.

Kasuke Mina

Mina Nodded at the words of them both, and stood up, stretching. "Alright, Jett. You should probably go and get some rest. You're acting nothing like yourself and it's a little concerning. I'll see you around." she spoke in the same worried, caring tone as before. It would be obvious to JoJo that she liked him, but it would seem that Mina had no idea, and Jett haven't fully caught on either.

"No need to wait," Mina replied, catching up to her roommate. "I'm ready now. What are we doing to be doing at the gym, though?"

K E N I C H I

Campus Grounds > Girl's Dorm Lobby

@Silver Carrot@Aerandir@NoxxKenichi didn't have the first clue what everyone at the entrance was gathered up for, although that one girl from the Hero Gear class seemed kind of aggressive towards the mini-Fumika. The aforementioned girl, however, merely muttered something to herself while blinking rapidly as if she had seen something she hadn't expected. All of a sudden she pointed at him and said something to the small blond girl from homeroom.

"Kasuke-san, you go to school here, right? How did this happen?!"

"How'd what happen? What'd I do?" Kenichi asked innocently, tilting his head. If he had an ahoge of his own like Fumika, it would have certainly done a question mark impression. But Fumika spoke up just then, and although he wasn't sure given how neutral her expressions usually were unless she started mimicking someone, he felt like something was off.

"I'm fine," she said. "My friends were just arguing, and I didn't know what to do, so I got angry. That's all."

"Ah. Well, as long as everything's cool now..." Kenichi nodded. Bowing quickly, Fumika disengaged from the conversation, and rushed over to Haruka's side--

Waitaminute.

Kenichi suddenly realized that he did recognize the girl with the prosthetic. Her hair and clothes were different, as was her expression, and the leg was definitely different, but how had he missed it? Fumika, after all, had projected an exact, perfect duplicate of this girl just a few hours ago. This was her--the friend, Haruka, that Fumika talked to even though the projection couldn't talk back.

"I'm not strong... I couldn't beat you... I can't even beat him... It doesn't matter how hard I try to fight for myself, does it? I'll only lose in the end. Nothing has changed, except I can't hide behind you anymore...!"

But now this girl, that apparently Fumika had idolized, seemed like she was pretty down and out herself. She must have been arguing with Jett, and looked like she might even have been crying. But Jett didn't look angry--in fact, he looked a little uncharacteristically down himself. What had they been arguing about if they were both so sad, and why had it made Fumika angry enough to shout like that?

Fumika took Haruka by the hand, and Kenichi thought he heard her call the younger girl Asuka, before they headed off towards the dorms. Jett stopped them for a moment, to give a really heartfelt apology although it seemed like it turned kind of emo-self-depreciating towards the end. Kasuke spoke up, saying Jett needed to understand girls better and asking if he was going to tell them who that was. Kenichi almost started to say it wasn't any of her damn business--who did that, prying into somebody else's life when they were clearly upset, and asking about someone else who wasn't even present to give their side of things?

But Jett explained anyway, and Kenichi stuck around...at this point he was definitely feeling like a fifth wheel, but he had to admit he was curious and if Jett was gonna offer he might as well hear the rest of it. It seemed Fumika wasn't the only one who had been close to Haruka, and Kenichi was willing to bet there was more than just friendship going on in Jett's case.

"Ah, well...you're both good people, it'll work out. Sorry, I'm probably in the way here, so I'm just gonna..." As Kasuke and Jett talked about the necklace, Kenichi excused himself from the conversation with all the smoothness of a shark's skin and walked back towards where he had left Ayato. At some point he had heard Mamoru shouting in the background, something about a big dinner or something. Somebody had probably gotten it into their heads to have a celebration on account of the first day of school.

@rechonq”Hey, Yoshida, you still coming to the gym? I was just wondering if you were going to ditch for food instead.” Ayato asked, and the blue hair paused for a moment before looking towards the dorms Fumika and Haruka had headed towards.

"Well...I guess we ought to go, cause who knows what will be left if we wait too long. I forgot there's gonna be a shared-kitchen situation going on..." Until he could go shopping for groceries on his own, and label everything that was his inside the community fridge, he would probably be stuck eating at the same time as everyone else. "You go ahead though, I want to check on something. Save me a seat if ya can." He grinned and waved to Ayato as he turned away, although it was kind of hard to be cheery at the moment. With that done, though, he headed for the dormitory buildings and hoped if Fumika and Haruka had already gone inside that he wouldn't be in trouble for being a boy on the girl's side of the dorms.

@FeyblueHeading into the lobby, he started to look for that distinctive blonde ahoge...

Ezra

Vs

Roy Kusayanagi

Ezra had been grinding, lifting the dumbbells at a pretty impressive weight when he was suddenly encountered by somebody he’d spent the day with. It was the idiot who nearly lost them the training exercise, yet somebody he would still refer to as a friend, and at this point, that was a lot considering how paranoid he tended to be. He looked toward the kid and gave him a grin, before looking at him. He didn’t look like he belonged in a weight room, yet he had zero issue with him presiding here. Self improvement was necessary for everyone and whilst he believed in natural talent a lot, he also believed in willpower and the drive to improve so he was pleased to know that Roy was willing to work on his weak points.

“Nothing much. I’ve just started so it’s kinda surprisin’ you’re here so early. You tryna put in some work too, or you just here to check the place out?” he spoke in a pretty friendly tone as he continued his workout. The workout facility was certainly not a joke, and it was definitely the best he’d been in, yet it still had a feeling of homeliness. He was not disappointed with this school so far, everything it offered seemed to be extremely high quality and prioritizing the comfort of its students.

The big guy was going at it with the weights, he asked Roy if he was trying to put some work in too and Roy just chuckled and look down. “In this business you can’t afford to not be enough in a situation, always gotta be prepared. In my position there is no time for lacking” Roy said finishing stretching his legs and arms before getting up. He hadn’t have a proper shower yet so his hands and arms were still stained a light red. “This is my first time in this place and it is pretty impressive, might make it my second home here.” Roy said putting his hands on his arms, “Well I am ready for that special training you were gonna put me through if you are.” The boy had plenty of pent up energy to train with and he was eager to better himself and begin.

He recalled how Jett and Ezra fought in the exercise compared to how he fought Mina. The two of them did not think much of their action and relied mostly on instinct, cutting time and making their movements faster. Maybe if he could learn how to fight without thinking much and letting his body feel the battle then his combat prowess would grow. Another thing he wanted to improve was his control over that hand construct. The utility and potential on it was priceless as he could be on the defensive, offensive, and hold an objective at the same time. Problem was that it had a ridiculously high burnout cost as well as it hurt to use. He moved his finger around making a fist then opening his palm stretching it before turning back to Ezra.

“Besides I got to kick your ass in the future so that is all the more reason to be in here getting better”
Ezra grinned. It seemed that Roy wanted to start a rivalry, and whilst he certainly wasn’t strong enough to oblige his promises at the minute, he definitely saw potential in the kid and his quirk. It held versatility, any quirk that his type held tended to do so, even with the obvious negative side effects to it. He figured that the training would begin now, and knowing where the training room was due to memorizing a layout of the school, he was more than happy to oblige his promise.

“I’m going to give you that training I promised, but we’ve got to have a spar. I have no idea how strong you are based on only watching you, so I’mma need you to put 100% effort into this so I got a good idea, you get me?” he spoke as he began walking over to the sparring room that the gym had available. He wasn’t exceptionally worried about Roy or his ability within this spar, but he certainly needed to figure out how much he could take. After he done this, he could easily figure out the regimen based on a few more tests and based it on what he did at his age around the time period where he was at his level of strength.

Once they arrived, Ezra closed the door behind them and stood casually opposite Roy. He was all to ready to begin, and to be honest, he was looking forward to it. He’d had the spar with Yukari, but that was cut short due to gimmicks and a very awkward memory. He’d had the training exercise, but he never felt done after that. He’d barely been injured and the only injury he’d sustained was fatigue, so he was excited to see if Roy could push him further than Jett and Yukari.

“Begin whenever you’re ready. Don’t hold back whatsoever.” he spoke calmly as he looked at him dead in the eye.

The two walked over to the arena, Roy keeping a straight face as they made their way. Ezra proposed they spared, the blonde boy smirked and tilted his head down once again. He was probably the only one who got the best view Ezras abilities today. Once they got onto the mat and Ezra stood opposite of Roy shook his hands loose and got a deep breath.

“Begin whenever you’re ready. Don’t hold back whatsoever”

His eyes shot open as he slid his right foot back and gathered energy in his right hand, soon a yellow ball of energy formed in seconds and he fired it off at Ezra. Though something was different about this blast, it shined incredibly bright and moved oddly as if it had no specific mark to hit. It zoomed towards Ezra and upon impact it would let off a bright light as the densely compacted energy was released. Roy quickly got on all fours and slid his left foot back and spreading his hands apart mimicking Kenichi’s moves. It wasn’t as good quality as the blue haired boys but should yield similar results. The boy gritted his teeth and released a blast of solar energy at the ground from his feet and hands propelling himself at Ezra’s ribs. As he flew through the air a helmet formed on the kids head to further increase his damage and also protect his head. He had been soaking up everything today and everyone's moves, combining them, and using their abilities for himself. The boy closed the distance fast between himself and Ezra though it still left the big guy some slight room to react if he caught wind of what was going on.

Ezra was met with a shock as the blast connected to him, he never expected such a sudden assault, but given the circumstances, he guessed it was the best move for him to perform. Speed was to be key in this matchup if he were to stand a chance and whilst Ezra was taken off guard by it, it still held flaws in its pattern. The moment the flashbang had been thrown, Ezra had already entered a defensive stance covering most of his upper body, and even though the blow was to connect to his ribs, it would have done a lot more damage had Ezra not been braced for a blow.

The pain had surged through him as he felt himself winded by the blow. It was a good move to fulfill and he had definitely dived headfirst into this situation. The heat from his head was also giving him pain, but the problem that Roy had done is that he had completely underestimated Ezra’s physical strength and performed an incredibly risky move. Quickly composing himself, Ezra grabbed a hold of Roy in a ring and proceeded to pick him up, quickly pointing his head toward the floor like some wrestling move. The precaution of the helmet was a smart move as Ezra proceeded to slam Roy into the floor as hard as he could, head first.

Roy felt the contact being made but then felt Ezra grab the boy and pick him up about to slam him into the floor Roy tried to hold his hands out and blast him point blank but was too late. The boy switched plans onto the defensive trying to pad his fall. The arena was extra durable to protect against destructive quirks. Roy put his arms up to protect his upper body and reinforced them with a construct plating. Roys eyes grew wide as his adrenaline began rushing. It was like time slowed down as Ezra attempted putting the boy 10 feet under. BANG! The sound of Roys body colliding with the ground echoed through the gym. He managed to protect from a broken neck but still suffered heavy damage to the upper body.

The boy laid on his side and looked up at a huge guy presiding over him. Roy was in a daze, his eyes low and vision blurry. His protective armor disappeared as he lost focus. The blonde groaned as blood trickled down the side of his face, he gritted his teeth and held both his hands out in front of Ezra sending off a blast to distance Roy from the juggernaut. His body slide across the ground 5 meters soon sending himself into a roll before stopping on his stomach. He coughed a bit, “I see this is not a Spar anymore” Roy said coughing a bit more before mustering up strength to get up. He fixated his arms and pushed his body up soon making it onto his two feet. “I'm coming for you” Roy said with a smile, his willpower not faded despite standing like a newborn fawn. He made a riot shield though it was very thin. His smile faded as he grabbed the shield with too hands and slammed it against the ground causing it to shatter as shards of the shield flew everywhere. Some cutting Roy's body, he quickly held his hand out and made a blast that would project the shards towards Ezra. Almost mimicking Acions feather technique, the shards flew at the boy fiercely though the aiming was slightly lousy and moreso to the right.

Ezra let out a sigh of exhaust as Roy blasted himself away before smiling. He had perhaps gone a little too far, but he did not have doubt about the boy’s durability, which is why it was no surprise to him when he was able to recover. At least he did not break the kids neck, that was something that he was thankful for.

When Roy launched his second attack, he let out a surprise. Using a bladed weapon, especially one so similar to the one that Acion had shown was interesting to him, yet shocking how he was able to replicate it after seeing it in such a short amount of time. That was something he found curious. If he had this ability plus his quirk, he could truly become a potent threat due to the sheer magnitude of moves he could add up. Still, his thoughts were ended when the shards of riot shield were absorbed by his left arm to great pain. It was lucky that he had wore a sleeveless T-Shirt else his clothing would have been ruined as the shards slashed and tore up his arm, to the point where it was bleeding profusely even if it had not struck any veins. He grimaced slightly, but it didn’t particularly hurt as he swung his arm away from him to try and get the blood off it.

“Good shot.” he spoke quietly as he slowly walked towards Roy in a normal stance, not one that would normally be considered viable for a fight but Ezra had a plan.

Roy smirked a bit but it would seem as if there were two Ezra's. He started walking closer, the distance between the two shortening though he caught the boy off guard with his regular movement. Roy stepped back as he walked forward. The moves he tested seemed to work decently well yet they also had their kinks. Kenichis move works well though if the opponent is stronger it is highly risky. While acions move needs refining, Roy looked down at his arm that was bleeding profusely as well.

His blurred vision was getting better as the two Ezra's became one. Though his breathing had picked up he looked straight at Ezra without fear in his eyes. He was in the midst of a powerful opponent that was far stronger than he was. “If there is one thing I am gonna do… I'm gonna make you use your quirk” Roy said as he held his hand out in front of him. The blood soon began boiling on his skin as Roy gritted his teeth hard through the pain. His arm was covered in his own boiling blood as on the surface of his tattoos, through the crimson red fluid you could see the boy's tattoos shining brightly. “You're gonna fight me with your full power!” He said as his arm soon was coated in bright yellow which soon mixed into a dirty orange as the blood flowed through the construct. The construct soon expanded taking on the form of his hand, though much bigger, flexible, and longer. The blonde cocked his arm back before sending a punch at Ezra. His fist was about the size of Ezra's chest and aimed at his abdomen as well. Roy smirked as he gritted his teeth through the pain , he now knew the thrill of battle. Why Jett and Ezra were going at it so hard despite the insurmountable blows.

Ezra grinned. The truth had been noticed and Roy had realized that he hadn’t used his quirk. He wondered if Roy even knew what his quirk was, and whether he’d even know if he’d used it to begin with. Perhaps he wouldn’t, it wasn’t exactly obvious but his smiles were short lived as Roy set up his offense. ’A gigantic fist that was supposedly going to unleash his full power. He had no idea how to gauge the power of a construct that was not exactly in existence, and how strong the punch that was thrown, but he did not want to use his quirk, as he doubted he’d need it. Planting his feet firmly in the ground in a strong stance, Ezra prepared to grab the fist as it made connection. He knew it would burn and was mentally prepared to fight through the pain, as perhaps it’d cauterize the wounds from the slashing. If he could hold this, it could easily lead to him winning the fight, and it definitely needed to be stopped at this stage before a major injury occurred. The slashing and the slam were about as far as a spar should go, at least in his opinion. He was ready to take this blow however, and find out how strong Roy truly was.

When Roy saw this guy was preparing to tank the hit he just broke out into laughter. “Your crazy!” Roy said as he saw Ezra plant his feet. Roy opened his hand and the construct mimicked the movement exposing its palm. He whipped his arm up and down to alter the constructs trajectory aiming to latch on to Ezra's stomach. Upon seeing contact made Roy tugged hard on the boys body knowing full and well that he didn't have enough power to pull the big kid towards himself . He used the boys stagnant positioning to get a clear shot and once he had a sure fire hit he would pounce in the opportunity. Roy took a stride forward shooting out energy from the bottom of his feet sending himself flying towards his opponent. The grip that he had on Ezra with his construct made sure that anywhere he goes, Roy will follow. With his left arm he reinforced it with a gauntlet, balling his fist and tucking his arm in until it was time to strike. His face wasn’t pretty neither as he mustered up his strength to strike the boy down. As he got closer Roy cocked his arm far back and clench his fist tight.

Ezra let out a grin as the battle continued to get more intense. The laugh from Roy made him smile, as he managed to figure out that the secret to his fighting was that there was no secret, only insanity. As the attack came, it surprised him that the fist that he had created opted not to try him for a test of strength, but rather to grapple. It was a smart.move, but not one that would necessarily correlate to his victory as Ezra was already in a very strong stance, and could easily break out of this if he was required to. It was at this moment that he realized that Roy was using this to set up an attack of his own. He was ready for something along the lines of that, as he’d used the hand as a springboard to try and attack him. It had a lot of power behind it. Ezra smiled as he had been forced to do something that he didn’t want to do as he was forced to use his quirk. Quickly freeing his hand, he decided he’d have to respond to the punch in kind to one of his own, aiming for the other boys hand. If he could connect punches, he was confident that he’d win over in terms of strength merely based on his quirk and the lack of stamina that the other boy had at this stage. Using a fair bit of strength and his quirk, he responded to the punch in kind, full well knowing that this was the end of the spar regardless of what happened.hunter12

Roy’s eyes widened as he saw Ezra slip his arm out in the last second and was prepared to counter his onslaught. The way he fought was straightforward solely because he knows that he can take a hit and dish it back 3 times as hard. His battle style was that of a berserker. Roy clenched his body tight and kept his arm solid, you could visibly see the veins popping out of his arms and neck as he launched the punch at Ezra. Who in turn retaliated with his own punch, clashing with his attack. BOOM! Both of the boys quirks had collided with one another in the final race to decide the winner. The blonde boy gritted his teeth and let out a smile as he bumped fists with Ezra, it felt like he had punched solid steel. The two could physically feel the power manifested in the air when their attacks collided. This briefly led to a flashback in Roy's head about when him and Ezra had tested how his construct would hold up against the boys accelerated punch. Roy closed his eyes taking in his realization of the power difference at the moment. He failed to realize how much power he had used up over the course of the spar and all the constructs he had made. His grin turned into a wide smile as he accepted defeat, cracks and fissures began appearing on Roy's gauntlet and hand construct before they shattered into a bright light.

The force of the blow sent him rolling back a few yards before laying on the ground in vanquishment, the blood from his arm began flowing out again. He groaned on the ground in pain as the strain on his body caught up to him. “Owww, my back. Adrenaline is one hell of a hormone to disregard pain.” He was laid out flat on his back and limbs spread like a sea star. The feeling in his right arm was numb from using that hand again, Roy winced from the slashes on his arm stinging. “That was pretty damn fun though, we should do it again...just not today...or tomorrow...maybe end of next week” Roy used his left arm to sit up straight and stare at Ezra.

“After fighting your crazy ass, I can see why you and Jett Enjoyed fighting each other. It's not just to beat on each other till they are battered and bloody but a form of earning one's respect. In a way it kinda defines your personality and what you are made of.” He tried to stand on his own feet but his back was killing him at the moment, most likely bruised. He grunted as he powered through it and managed to stand up. Battered and bloody he stood rose and looking Ezra in the face with a thumbs up and a grin.

“You win this round you big bastard”

Ezra let out a shout as the two connected blows, and at that moment, Ezra knew he had made a good decision in choosing a student of his own. It was bizarre really, he had gone to school to learn but had ended up taking on the role of a teacher within his first day. Perhaps that was what learning was about after all.

Within a few moments he had broken the constructs and sent him flying. He had a good gauge of Roy’s strength, knew what improvements had to be made and most importantly, had earned Ezra’s respect. Not many people who had come to blows with him had been able to remain in such a solid state, and one that commanded such a determined resolve. He’d grown to like the boy despite disgruntlements early on.

Ezra wasn’t exactly in a good state either however. Hr’d been sliced up bad by the fragments and it hurt but he showed no signs of it simply due to his resolve, even whilst it was dripping with blood.
“You got what you wanted. I used my quirk, even if I didn’t want to. Grats.” he spoke with an annoyed shrug as he wiped the blood off his arm with a tissue.

“Well I know where you stand now. You’re likely bottom 3 in the class in terms of raw combat power, stamina, evaluation ability, etc. But you have some impressive ability to copy moves. I’ve not quite seen such a talent before, so I know where your strengths lie. We just need to work on the fundamentals since ya got a hospital body right now.” he spoke with a smile. Ezra was smarter than he led on at certain things, especially regarding insight into this topic in particular. He’d been working on himself a long time and watched a lot of people do the same, so he knew what to look for.

“Excuse me for not being a muscle bound body builder” Roy said smiling. “Bottom 3, that is pretty damn low but at least I am not dead last so that is a plus...hopefully” Roy said chuckling before abruptly stopping.

“I feel as though if I can work out my stamina and get it pretty high the other improvements should come naturally. Once I am out of power I am a sitting duck.” Roy began holding his right arm which was sizzling hot. “We aren’t in any condition to continue sparing unless you're some deranged masochist. Let's head back to the dorm house, Donny is cooking dinner for our class.” Roy said holding his arm and making his way towards the exit.

JoJo

Kasuke Mina

Yashiro, Takeshi

Takeshi had spent a little time putting his things away while placing her sister's luggage neatly on her bed for her to go through when she got up. First thing he did was pull out the stands for their swords and placed their swords gently on their place in a reverent manner. He then continued to place all of his clothes into the closet. Then he unpacked his armor, placing it on the bed as he then started to undress. He put some black Gi pants on while only wearing a white tank top. A few nasty scars that looked like sword cuts or stab wounds could be seen from what the tank top didn’t cover. Deciding to get some training in before dinner which was called out. Reaching for bokken, he jogged out of the dorm after closing his door.

Joann turned herself around and started to head towards the gymnasium, it looked like she’d get something pretty to look at after all, JoJo cracked a slightly smile in satisfaction and continued her jog now with a destination. While on her way there she couldn’t help but remember what happened this morning, that she all but destroyed an entire section of it in an outburst of energy. She briefly stopped to look down at her hands, she could feel her quirk under her skin passing electrical jolts from one fingertip to the other and all the way up her arms, down to her feet and back up to her head. Even her eyes felt jittery which was normal her quirk increased her action and reaction speed so much so when it got high enough her body stopped checking with the brain and moved on basic instinct. It took JoJo a second to notice she had been standing there thinking about this for a while and took to running a bit faster towards the gym, the faster motion charged her quirk more and soon enough random jolts of electricity could be seen flying from her steps every so often, only stopping when she reached the door leading to the inside of the gym.

Mina was close behind, keeping up even when Joann started to run faster. The smaller girl hadn’t been inside the gym at all today, so was a little bit curious to see what it looked like. Maybe she could do a little workout to shake off the mental fatigue and stretch her muscles out to recover from the morning’s exercise.

Takeshi already knew the school grounds like the back of his hand. It was habit for him to study out his area where he would be spending most of his days for many reasons. Despite the blunder that happened that morning with Reina, he knew exactly where to go. As he came to the door of the gym he noticed a girl with what seemed to be electricity sparking around her. Raising an eyebrow, as he wondered if that was natural or she was just angry or something, about to let out some steam. Either way, she would be interesting to fight. Those with electrical quirks were incredibly fast themselves, or just their attacks. Both were great for training as he was quick, it was always good to train yourself to be even faster. He had also noticed another blonde girl running with her, however she had no visible quirks though she did look very athletic. Perhaps she would prove to have an interesting quirk as well.

He came up behind both of them and got both of their attentions while clearing his throat ” Excuse me... He said politely and waited for them to turn around. ”My name is Yashiro Takeshi, I am looking for someone to spar with, perhaps either of you can indulge me? He said with a slight bow, while his eyes continued to look at both of them. He did notice two others, who were in his class of Villain studies, were already sparring as well.

Joann turned around in a flash, if she had long hair it would have smacked him across the face. Admittedly, she was only going to the gym to see if it was repaired, but she has been itching for a scrap since she didn’t get to fight that mouthy girl in the courtyard. Just like the trio in the courtyard she had never seen the black hair male student neither had she met the two fellow students duking it out already in an arena, just how many students attended this school was all could think at this moment. When she finally snapped back to reality the male was bowing to her politely and asking her to be his sparring partner.

“Sure, I don’t use those gadgets, though but you can if you want, ” she explained, shrugging, turning around and walking deeper into the gym “I’ll be waiting for you in one of the rings”

Mina’s reply however, was a weary sigh. ”You two knock yourselves out. I came here to recover from a fight, not to have another one. I’ll be over at the machines, watching,” she responded, before heading to the locker room to change.

Takeshi only gave a hint of a smile before she started walking. Looking towards the blond as she declined he gave her a nod then quickly followed the first girl. All I need is my Bokken. He simply said as he followed her to the ring. He figured he would at least though start without it, She seemed like a somewhat trained fighter by the look of her build. Once in the ring he slid his bokken into his sash and stretched his arms for a quick moment before taking a very relaxed defensive posture. His arms were not up all the way, but more near his waist. Not that he was over confident, but if she was indeed another well trained fighter, perhaps she would note his sloppy form. ”I’m ready, when you are.”

His stance earned a smirk from her, causing her to look over to the side, it reminded her of her dad when he would train with her as a kid; it was sloppy and full of holes, perfect for a beginner to learn to pick it apart. JoJo wasn’t too keen on being taken lightly, but if he was trying to measure her up, she’d just have to do the same, placing her leg foot farther in front of the right and her guard more at a tilted angle performing the Orthodox boxing stance. Ducking down low she decided to test his reaction speed, all at once JoJo disappeared in a burst of electrical discharge before reappearing a few inches in front of him moving her right arm forward to punch him. The right jab was slow much slower than she would normally throw it, but it was a feint, if he moved to dodge it in the correct way then her left hook would catch him across the upper jaw line.

Despite his stance, his muscles were tense, ready to spring into action. From what he gathered, knowing she had an electrical quirk, he was prepared for speed. Still. It gave him a bit of a shock when she suddenly appeared in front of him. Damn that was fast. His eyes quickly assessed the situation with her throwing a right jab, he swept his arm up to block it but he did notice her footing twisting for her left side, as it would for a more powerful punch. It was a feint, and he ducked down just barely missing her left fist. He used this moment to roll forward and to the side, just to her left. Rolling to his and raising his arms once again into a defensive position (Slightly higher this time but not much). But he did not press forward. He still wanted to see more of her fighting style, to judge her weakness. His face was blank as he watched her.

Despite his relaxed stance, he concluded that she was going for a feint and just barely was able to dodge her left hook albeit barely. This left her wide open for a counter attack to which the boy didn’t take it giving Joann enough time to pull back her punch before it was fully extended out there, reeling back her left she switch her boxing stance to southpaw in seconds she was getting faster per action even with her blink technique that she just used. Two steps back and one to the right getting her body realigned to send out another combination of straight jabs leading with the right jab two of which were who on punched the last was another feint that would lead into a left uppercut, these were basic attacks to test out how good he was and to see if she could force him to bring out his quirk.

He was impressed when she changed her stance to southpaw. Not many fighters could do that, not that he was a boxer, but to change up one’s stance smoothly like that without thinking proved she was a competent fighter. When she followed up with basic attacks after her first one, also made it clear that she was feeling him out as well. He had a few things going for him, she didn’t know how his quirk, and that he trained highly in hand to hand. He was just saving his strength at the time being, by moving his head back and forth at her strikes. Just enough for them to not connect.

However, her last move, the uppercut grazed his jaw as pulled his head back to dodge it. He fell backwards on purpose to his left side, reaching back with his left arm to catch himself long enough for him to twist his hip and launch a kick towards her head. If it connected or not he would use the momentum of the twist to use his left foot to propel him away from her in a roll to his feet.

JoJo could feel that grazed him connecting with his chin slightly, retracting her fist she dipped lower and moved in on him giving chase even though he was falling back. Her eyes darted over his body, noticing that he could have stopped himself long before and this gave away the fact he was going for another attack, though her brain was already being overloaded with the combat her body was picking up the slack. When the kick was launched JoJo put up her forearm to block it, then before he could perform anything else she wrapped her arm around his lower thigh. Twisting her body, she used her quirk enhanced strength and speed to not only lift him up by the leg but use the momentum to send him flying a short distance towards the edge of the arena. The very second he left her grasp Joann put up her guard and sprinted after him, giving a light leap up and cocking her fist back performing a flying haymaker aimed right for his jaw. This admittedly left her completely open should he dodge or counterattack, as nothing about her quirk protected the girl from aerial or long distance combat.

Takeshi’s eyes narrowed as she gripped his legs, she had insane reflexes to catch his leg with that feint of a fall. Also she had a lot more strength than he imagined with someone with a quirk like hers, he tried to resist being thrown and launching a swift kick to her stomach with his free foot, but it wasn’t fast enough as he found himself in the air. Twisting his body into a somersault before landing on his feet and right knee, facing the girl once again. When he laid eyes on her once more, he saw she was already racing towards him, jumping into the air to deliver powerful punch towards his face. Most would try to block or get out of the way, but she was left open with her haymaker. A reckless move. With surprising speed on his part, he pushed forward a few steps to close the gap between them ducking his head while keeping his eyes on his target and jabbed his left forearm forward. Using his right hand to grip his left hand to brace it and make it all the more stronger, along with his knees locking into position, while using the space between his bicep and forearm of his left arm to protect his face from her attack if she managed to readjust enough to him. His eyes were barely visible from behind his arm as he aimed his attack for her sternum.

Her eyes saw what was coming, even her brain told her what to do in this situation if she be on the ground, she could have done something instead of putting up a weak guard with her free arm to protect her chest area. The punch he threw connected the force of which provided enough stopping power to slow her aerial charge to get her feet back on the ground faster when she landed, which wasn’t too far away from her intended target. All this motion only served to feed her quirk more, she was getting faster and stronger and it was starting to get noticeable to the naked eye as electricity surged around her body in violent intervals. She hit the ground with both feet firmly under her and not even half a second from landing, she was already closing the gap between them yet again guard up to protect her upper body. Once in range JoJo put her left leg in front of her right and went for a swift low kick aimed at his thigh which would be followed up with a high kick that would be directed at his face, it didn’t matter if she only grazed him now the violent storm surrounding her body would give him a shock.

He noticed how much faster she was getting, when she kicked at him low, he met her kick with a block with his leg. A sudden shock ran through him. Wincing as it corsed through him, he still pushed through it and ducked at the second moving away for a moment. As he shook his leg while he assessed the situation. She seemed to be getting stronger as long as she was moving. Fast as well. He could do two things. Keep dodging her attacks and hopefully be fast enough to do so. Or immobilize her quickly. He instantly thought of his Bokken, it being wood, the electricity would not conduct through it. He could use his quirk as well to cover his arms and legs so he can still land punches on her with the shadows providing that required insulation. Or he could use it to lock her foot to the ground. He didn’t think long as he didn’t want to give her time to react so he rushed forward. Seemingly being stupid enough to attack her head on again after being shocked. At the last possible moment, he reached for his bokken and swung fast and hard upwards, aiming for her chin, he would quickly follow up with two more attacks from the right then left. Each strike was powerful yet highly controlled, the clear signs of a highly train swordsman showing now.

Joann grinned when he ran right for her, she was fight happy not stupid and he seemed entirely too well trained to do something so foolish which meant he obviously had a trick up your sleeve. The girl slowed her stride down just enough for her eyes to catch exactly what he was doing and that was taking out some form of object she assumed was a gadget, as he swung it upward she pushed her body low to the ground so fast what looked like an afterimage was created and by the time his right and left strikes connected with the image dispelling it her fist was already cocked back and her body rocketed upward in an attempt to deliver a devastating uppercut. Even if she didn’t connect Joann would disappear just like the beginning of the fight in a field of discharged electricity and appear right behind him sending a flurry of love taps at his joints designed to penetrate through the skin with the electricity and lock up his movement for a little bit thus slowing him down tremendously.

He moved his head back to dodge the uppercut and saw that she suddenly disappeared, Logically the next attack would come from behind, remembering how she was so fast with that first attack. He spun to slash, but he was too slow as the electricity surged through him. His teeth clenched tightly, most men would probably yelp in pain at the sudden charge running through them. But Takeshi was raised in pain, as the scars on his body proved. While this did make it harder for him to move, he pushed through it with a surge of strength, slashing once, across the torso, and another downwards, to her knees, trying to clip the back of them to cause them to buckle.

She lost some speed, but her adaptive instincts still caught onto what he was doing but at this point being so close and so easy go score a real heavy hit she just went for and decided to take the punishment. He was trained better than she was being that her father was quirkless, but the one thing he did for her was teaching her how to take a punch and keep on going, she fell off cliff sides and mountain ranges just to get back up to try again. She pressed on forward as JoJo didn’t want to actually use her blink again and reduce her speed even more so instead she reared her head back and plunged herself to meet him head to head on quite literally. She took those slashes at her knees, however her course never faltered catching him mid action like Joann was on track to smash her forehead on his focusing her energy on a single focal point of impact and shoot the energy outward upon contact from her body throughout his, the action could paralyze him momentarily, cause immense pain or just numb the boy’s body.

Takeshi managed the two hits, but it was clear she was pushing through them. She did not have his level of training, but more brutal force with the ability to take the hits. He saw her rear her head back, anyone could, In his mid swing though he had moved his head to the side away from her headbutt. But she was already in motion when he clipped her legs. Her head slammed into upper chest, just in the crook of his shoulder. The blow caused him to stagger back as he felt like he was stabbed through the shoulder with pure electricity. He lost all feeling in his left arm as his hand went slack to his side while his right hand still held his Bokken. He tried with all his might to move his left arm, inspecting his shoulder quickly to make sure he wasn’t stabbed even though he knew it was just her forehead. His attention quickly went back to the matter at hand as he took the chance while she was on the ground, He leaned down quickly and slashed towards the side of her head and neck, he was planning on stopping the bokken mere centimeters from her if it were to work.

Mina stopped doing doing situps in the corner as she watched the fight, and sat up, giving things her full attention now. This fight had slowly gotten more and more impressive, and Mina was almost starting to want to join in, but she still felt fatigued and achy from fighting underground, and they were exerting a lot themselves. To start fighting one of them now would not be fair or enjoyable, so she stayed sitting where she was, and watched attentively.

Joann did indeed fall after that headbutt in fact she landed square on the ground face first creating a loud thud once she hit. However, instead of taking the time to reassess herself after taking self-inflicted damage the little spark plug turned around on her back just as he was coming down with his sword. She didn’t move enough to dodge it, but she had the reflexes and speed thanks to her quirk to react just enough, quickly stretching all five of her fingers upward like an blade JoJo projected an electrical construct to shoot from her fingertips. Exorcising all the restraint she had forced the ‘blade’ to stop at his neck extending the kindness he showed her.

“Draw?” she asked panting rapidly trying to catch her breath, hand shaking a little as this was the first time she’d ever exorcised this much control over her quirk. If he didn’t agree quick, fast and in hurry one of the two things was going to happen, she’d lose control over the blade and end up piercing him which would in turn cause his sword to go right through her throat, or the blade itself with disappear turning the draw into a complete loss.

Takeshi stood there as they held their weapons to each other throats. He noticed how she was shaking, which was dangerous as her weapon was far more deadlier than his bokken. The students here were reckless and threw their quirk around like it wouldn’t kill anyone. They didn’t understand what it meant to kill someone. They all had it easy. If they truly knew how deadly their own quirk where, they would try to be more careful on when and where they use it.

While his left arm was completely numb and unresponsive, he was far from finished. He had yet to use his own quirk. While one could argue it was foolish not to use his own quirk to defend himself, whereas he might have not been in this position. Despite her position with her construct at his neck, he still was in a far superior position. He could easily move away, strike her face with his foot or knock her her arm away with his bokken. He still wasn’t exhausted like the girl at the end of his wooden Bokken.

While their eyes were focused on each other he gathered his own shadow moved on the ground below their eyesight and repositioned just enough and gathered into a small square. He raised an eyebrow as he then said, “Hardly.” before suddenly the shadow shoot out from the ground, knocking her hand with her ‘weapon’ while pulling his head to the right and flicking his bokken to give her a good tap on the cheek.

She saw everything coming but couldn’t actually do anything about it given her position at the moment, she really wanted him to just agree to the tie because she couldn’t hold this anymore. The second he smacked the hand that was controlling the weapon it all just went south, once her hand moved even an inch she lost the connection and the ‘sword’ exploded created a large orb of violent energy that spread out in all angles. Using the explosion as a diversion JoJo quickly made up to her feet rolling her shoulder then began to look at her hand trying to figure out just how she managed to do the blade trick. Look up and looking right back down she put both hands in the air and yawned “I give” she said before moving her hands back down into her pockets.

Takeshi closed his eyes at the explosion his left arm coming up to block the light. While his body automatically brought his bokken up in a defensive position when she would attack. Though when he locked eyes on his target he saw her looking down at her hands confused. Apparently it was clear she used an advanced technique that she had no control over. This angered Takeshi, It was just to be a spar, but she used a dangerous technique. Then she was so carefree and didn’t care about what she just did. He slipped his bokken into his sash once more and looked at his arm as he felt pins and needles all over it as the feeling started to come back.

”Idiot...” he said shaking his head, not even giving her a proper bow as one would at the end of a spar. It wasn’t a spar anymore. ”Next time you pull a stupid stunt like that, I won’t hold back like I did.” He should have just cracked her in the skull with his bokken. A simple lesson he and all his siblings learned doing something stupid. It would be one thing if they were fighting at full strength with the consent to as hard as they would, like they would in the exams, but a simple spar, this was uncalled for. ”Learn how to control your quirk before you use it on someone. You can kill someone being that careless and stupid while fighting, that’s not what heroes do.” he said as he walked out of the ring.

JoJo snickered as she turned around and headed for the exit of the ring “Holding back, now who’s the idiot, I do what I want and will continue to do so,” she explained, folding her arms around her head after rolling her shoulders “Someone sounds afraid of their quirk and live experiment some of us don’t have the luxury, besides it all turned out fine” she yawned again. She was taught that a fight even on friendly terms was a fight you make sure the other person is face down on the floor or you can’t move anymore, there were plenty of times where her father left a ten year old Joann face down on the living room floor to pick herself back up “Hiding behind that wall of ‘discipline’ and trying to be careful is going to get you killed one day and makes you look stuck up” JoJo finished before leaving

Mina had been watching the whole fight. They were both very good fighters, but the end proved they had a major ideological difference, and in Mina’s opinion, they were both wrong, and both right, in that everything they said about each other was mostly true. Joann was a loose canon who just shrugged off an experiment with a dangerous quirk that, if failed, could have really hurt her opponent. That wasn’t the bad part. The bad part was her attitude. ‘Of course I risked your life. I need to get stronger. Suck it up.’ It was incredibly selfish and rubbed Mina up the wrong way. But the boy was even worse. Threatening her because she threw a curveball, and acting like this wasn’t heroic. What did he think the villains he fought were going to do? Go easy on him and have a fair fight? If Mina was having a friendly spar with another classmate, she wouldn’t even ask the question ‘will this action seriously hurt my opponent?’ because if their inability to defend themselves puts them in the nurse’s office, she’ll have done them a massive favor and they’ll never make that mistake again. She’d never, ever risk their life, though.

Scowling, Mina walked up to Joann as she left the ring. ”You do know there are practice facilities at this school for getting a handle on quirks and controlling them until they’re safe, before you use live students as guinea pigs, right?”

With that said, she entered the ring and walked up to Takeshi. ”And you. Never threaten somebody else like that. This is a school. We’re still learning, and accidents can teach the other person something about avoiding attacks as much as they teach the culprit about the need to control. Either way, threatening to deliberately hurt a girl and a classmate for real? That’s not what Heroes do.” Walking away with her trademark cold, haughty manner, the rich girl had just schooled both of them on what true ‘stuck up’ looked like.

“Training simulators and little robot toys, are only going to get you so far all the stuff is designed with safety in mind; if you want to get better and keep getting better you learn and develop in motion and push for it with everything you have” Joann said back with a shrug having zero intentions of apologizing for something she felt should come natural to everyone here “If you’re afraid of getting hurt don’t get on the bike, if you’re afraid of hurting someone don’t come to this school, if you’re afraid to push yourself and grow in motion don’t consider yourself a player and stay on the sidelines; you’re a man suck it up and quit crying” she explained before continuing to walk herself off back to the dorm.

He sighed as the girls were naive to what he was saying. “You two obviously do not know the meaning of a spar. A mock battle where the worst thing you could give your opponent is a concussion/ using your quirk in a non lethal way. “ he said loud enough for them to hear as they were walking away. “Live training is where you are actively trying to hurt your opponent without trying to kill them. But. Being reckless with a move you cannot control on another person is not training. It’s pure stupidity. A real battle where your life is on the line is a different beast altogether. While you still shouldn’t use a move you can’t control, unless absolutely necessary. We are to apprehend the villains, not stoop down to their level and kill them.”

Aiming his next sentence at Jojo. “I am not afraid to use my quirk, I know my limitations and I know my strengths. While I still train as much as I can to build it, I will not risk the lives of my fellow students to fulfill my own agenda to become stronger, again that is what a villain does. I also wouldn’t be criticizing my choice not to use my quirk till necessary. I was holding my own without it.”

His eye twitched as he felt burning on his arm, glancing down he noticed the 3rd degree blisters forming on his arm from that last explosion. Though he didn’t cry out in pain, or try to hold it. His face was almost that of emotionalist. He had far worse injuries dealt by his own father.

Looking to Mina,[color=bc8dbf] “do not dare put words into my mouth. I would never intentionally hurt a student. I would have just have knocked her out instead of halting my blow to her neck. Do not speak of me like I will, I will not have my name sullied like that.” Mina’s response was to simply look over her shoulder, with a barbed smile, and reply ”Or what? You ‘won’t hold back’ with me either?” Before heading into the girl’s locker room.

Hitomi called it a guilty pleasure of hers to wear laced underwear and metal band shirts. It was a bit weird to think of Hitomi seeming different then she looked. Hitomi had a fair bit of cuteness on her so she didn't completely expect her to have such sexy underwear and love metal. Tomoe felt a bit ashamed that her style in underwear hasn't changed over the years. Should she steal some of Hitomi when she wasn't looking? Tomoe her nose started to bleed lightly at the thought of wearing such things. Swiftly she wiped the blood away with both hands not to make Hitomi all too inconspicuous about her.

Hitomi told something quick about herself and seeming for her words this was not her first year here? Curious. Tomoe would ask her later about it again. Furthermore pretty normal like any normal high schooler. Tomoe was in love of the fact she liked the room clean and could cook. She has to strengthen this relationship so Hitomi would take care of her so that Tomoe could be even lazier.

"You sound like a mom figure. I want to taste your cooking, pretty please."

Tomoe asked Hitomi about being proper roommates in which Hitomi cheerfully reacted and put her arm around the shoulder of Tomoe getting her a bit off guard. Tomoe put up a smile though seeming happy with the result. Tomoe then realised she had to tell her about her quirk, otherwise it would seem a bit weird to sleep all day.

"Oh, Hitomi-chan. I have to tell you that my quirk makes me sleep lots, that is why my bed looks so different, it is a bit more expensive. Don't worry though, if you think I sleep too much it that is only natural for me. Don't mind making noise either when I'm sleeping or wake me when you need something during any time. Even wanting to chat is plenty of reason to wake me."

Tomoe gave Hitomi a cheerfull smile before standing up waiting for Hitomi to do the same so they could get some food. Tomoe then led the way to the smell of the food.

Upon arriving there were a few people around the kitchen with most of them cooking together. Tomoe sniffled the air around her to try and guess what they were making but it was of no use she couldn't guess apart from the strong smell of mustard and pickles. Tomoe moved closer towards Acion until she was right behind him and poked out her head past his side to see what he was doing.

"Nani nani? What are you making?"

Tomoe her vision was fixated on the weird looking pickles on the board in front of Acion. Tomoe tilted her head in curiousity. They looked like pickles but something has happened to them. Like they weren't pickles anymore. Tomoe wanted to try one. She poked her hand out towards the board and snatched one of the pickles off of it. Like a trashcan her mouth opened wide up as she threw the pickle into it in one go. Tomoe nommed down on the pickle not expecting the pickle to be filled with sauce mix. It was pretty weird but it wasn't bad to her taste. Tomoe just liked sweeter stuff.

"Are we doing russian roulet? I think I got the bad pickle."

With a bit of a weirded out face she spoke again being unknown of Acions depression to his mismade pickled she went on seeming quite serious with he reaction and confused at what was happening. Tomoe stepped away from Acion and glanced for a moment at what the others were doing. Her vision immediatly locked onto a fresh bag of cookies once she saw it near Yashiko. Stars beamed in her eyes as she mad direct course for the cookies seemingly belonging to Yashiko. With begging puppy eyes she looked up at Yashiko, a sweet innocent voice softly sounded from the small girl.

"Are you willing to share one of your co-cookies with me. Pretty pretty please! Yo-you can have this u-um, Hitomi for a cookie!"

Roy Kusayanagi

As Roy and Ezra began exiting they overheard some others training in the room as well, "Actually I want to check out these guys really quick". He peered into the other training room seeing Takeshi in a black gi fighting another girl and Mina who was spectating the battle, they managed to catch the end of the battle. Roy was still in pain and winced, he leaned against a pillar for support as he watched the two soaking up the battle. They both moved exceptionally well and had great control of their body. Takeshi seemed to have been wielding a wooden sword, Primary weapon of choice I suppose, very proficient. The other girl seemed to have been fighting in a style he is used to. Very similar to Ezra in being straightforward. He jabbed at Ezra, "Looks like the girl version of you over there" Roy said chuckling. Soon enough he stopped at the sound of a big explosion which signaled the end of their duel, seemed like the intel gathering was over. Roy watched as Takeshi began snapping and the two started an argument, and then Mina hopped in dropping her two cents. Roy almost felt bad for the boy since he did have a blunt but very true point, both ladies parted ways one heading for the exit and another for the locker room.

Time for a proper introduction

The blonde boy made his way over to Takeshi rubbing his arm with a wide grin, "The female species, such fascinating creatures" Roy said opening the conversation. "I recall you being from villain studies. Most notebly those shadows you produce and that swordsmanship. My name is Kusayanagi Roy. A pleasure to meet you, I would offer my hand but.." He signled to his arm that was dripping with blood. "I will be keeping my eye on you Yashiro, your sister told me you were pretty good. She wasn't lying." Roy took his leave on that note making his way over to a blindspot by the locker room and waited for Mina to come out. He planned on scaring her, but wait... what if she kicks him in the head again. He wasn't sure if he would be able to live through a head injury like that again. He gulped as he heard the door open and jumped out in front of Mina shouting really loud.

"AHHHHH!!" he peered in front of Mina with the crimson red liquid flowing down the left side of his face as he had a psychotic smile on his face, his arm sliced up and bloody as he reached out in a fake attempt at grabbing her. He was prepared incase she tried to hit him in the moment.

ACION

Not long after he finished his work, there were already two testers to his creation.

The first one was Michiko, who seemed to get that he was not a good cook at all. She picked up one of the pickles and took a bite of it. And then she gave one sweet smile, a giggle and one short line for a review.

I think you killed them….

Acion inclined his head almost automatically, like a robot. He'd expect no less. To be honest, that was probably the most impressive reaction he had expected.

The next one came not a few minutes later, and it was a small girl with pink hair, Tomoe. She acted rather fluffy and like an energetic dodgeball, poking her head to his side while asking what he made. She then simply took one of the pickles and took a bite. Her expressions suddenly alienated...to his expectation.

'Ok, it's not something to be sad over.' The winged boy reassured himself.

It was not in his expertise. It was not something he was used to, or had any sort of natural talent on it. So it was actually a relief that he didn't fall into the malicious category of a 'lethal chef', where every single creations of these people were a form of a lethal biological weapon. He should be ok...

"I really have to patch my hand up."

The cut was not very deep, but if he just keep it like this, who knows if he would get a blood infection over this...

Kasuke Mina

Upon leaving the changing rooms, Mina came face to face with a bloody figure screaming at her, her instincts acted before her brain jucked in and she jumped out of her skin while letting out quite a brief, shrill scream. Immediately putting a hand to her mouth and turning red, Mina's eyes narrowed and her nose wrinkled in anger. She took the hand away from her mouth and advanced on Roy, though she didn't advance to within range of his hand. If he got blood on her uniform, she 'won't hold back' to within an inch of his life.

"What do you think you are doing, Kusayanagi?" she demanded.

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi nodded and smiled at the 'mom' comment. She had been told it a lot since she came here. And she was interested in hearing about Tomoe's quirk. Though part of it did confuse her. "How does a quirk that makes you sleep lots get you into the Hero class? There must be another secret to it. But I'm perfectly alright with you sleeping a lot, though I hope you don't snore."

---

When they arrived in the kitchen, just before Tomoe wondered off as Hitomi assumed she would, the sheep girl stopped her. "I'm going to cook you something like you asked. What would you like to eat?"

Having asked that, Hitomi then looked around. There was nobody here from the support class. Were these all Hero students? Wow, she was with the big kids now! Hehe. As she looked around, she spotted Acion, and spotted his wound. Without wasting a breath, she rushed straight over to him, this strange girl he'd never met before with the ears of a sheep and the horns of a goat, who'd not been in any of the practical exercises but was in Quirk Application with him.

"Your hand's hurt!" she exclaimed. "Let me look at it! They taught us first aid in the first year of support class!"

Mako Akane

Jett would feel a presence behind him that he hadn't felt several seconds ago. The figure leaned on the back of the bench that he was sitting on, and it was only when they spoke, in that familiar high, saccharine voice, that he'd know who it was. "Oh my, the job of a staff member is never done. We have another moper, I see. Want to talk about what's on your mind, Jetty?" she asked. Though he couldn't see her without turning round, he could feel her usual, pleasant smile. She probably had her eyes closed too. And she did.

So far everything seemed to be going well. People were slowly come in and Luelle did a good job making the place look presentable. Even Yukari came in with snacks to whet everyone's appetite! These cookies were very well made too. Had a certain feminine touch to them that Mamoru could identify. ”Thanks! I don't think I've met you, formally that is, I'm Mamoru! You threw me at Ms. Mako.” Mamoru said without a hint of regret.

Mamoru went over to Luelle and poked her cheek. ”And this kitty cat is Luelle! Total badass and cutie pie, fought off a villain before her first day of class!” Mamoru wanted Luelle to make some more friends. While Mamoru would always be Luelle’s friend, better to expand her circle. She heard a few more people coming down so Mamoru left these two girls to talk while Mamoru went to greet the others. ”Moshi moshi! I'm Mamoru Akasha, if you don't know me already! I'll help you find a table and be serving you tonight!”

Donny didn't really pay attention to the rest of the kitchen as he focused on his cooking. In his mind he was timing everything down to the second. Once he let his steaks marinate for thirty minutes they were on a pan that was buttered up and ready for frying. Donny looked pretty busy himself however, with each of the four stovetops holding a pan or wok either frying rice or cooking a steak. When Michiko asked Donny what she needed to do to help he paused for a second and gave his answer. ”Dinner is ready. Bring these bowls to the dining room!” Donny placed the first eight bowls he had made into a counter for the others. They were still warm, though the juices had seeped into the bottom of the bowl. ”We need drinks too. Fortunately I have that covered as well.” Always prepare for a feast Donny placed two plastic bags into the counter. Inside was two gallons of apple juice and two gallons of cola. Hopefully there would be enough cups and ice for everyone.

”Bring the meals out with Acion’s pickles on the side. I think we have a few small plastic plates they could be served on.” Donny went to wash his hands as he returned to cooking. He seemed very intense and didn't even mind the fact the kitchen had so many cute girls in it. When he saw Acion’s however he did turn his stove off and went over to the winged boy. Then Donny handed him a handkerchief. ”Acion, thanks for your help. Those pickles will be a great help. Wash up and wrap up your fingers though, the food will be hot and I don't want you to burn your hands.”

Returning to his cooking Donny cracked his neck and flexed his fingers for the rest of the food. He just finished two more bowls and another two were about to be finished. He hoped everyone liked his food. When Donny did notice all the people in the kitchen he wasn't sure if to yell at them or just keep cooking. He chose to focus on the task at hand. ”Dinner is ready! Please do not eat in the kitchen. Mamoru has tables set up outside. Help yourself to apple juice or cola.”

Yashiro, Takeshi

Takeshi shook his head at the blonde's last comment before entering the girls locker room. No, perhaps not unless she challenged him, but he would have to find out more info on the girl...perhaps ask Michiko, she was really good with pro hero’s and their families. She had a gifted mind and remembered almost everything.

He picked up his phone and looked over as another student, one from his last class came up to him, bloodied. What the hell was wrong with the students here? Though he was impressed with the boys control over his pain, most would be almost screaming in pain. When he mentioned how women were fascinating creatures, he could hear the deep sarcasm in his voice and only tilted his head to the side while shrugging.

He introduced him as Roy Kusayangagi, bringing up that he noticed his quirk. Which on the other hand, Takeshi had noticed Roy’s was very similar to his family's style. Though the opposite and used light instead. Still, his grasp of his quirk was more intricate than Takeshi’s. He had noticed some of his abilities with his fight with the tall one, and of course the hand he made with Ms. Mako.

He did mentioned that he spoke with his sister already. He raised an eyebrow, Thankfully he didn’t say anything more than she just said he was good. He bowed his head. Thank you... as he was complemented.

He watched as he suddenly ran off towards the girls locker room and hid in the blind spot for a moment he didn’t understand but it suddenly clicked. Despite how childish it was, Even Takeshi had resorted to scaring his sister. He knew that look of excitement anywhere. He quickly opened his phone and clicked on the camera and he pressed record.

Sure enough after a couple of seconds, the door opened and the blonde came out. Catching her scream and getting red in the face with embarrassment. She then yelled at Roy. He just cleared his voice as he started to walk away, loud enough to gain her attention while pressing the play button. After hearing the recording of herself screaming. He looked her in the eyes with a sly smug look of his own. “Yes...to answer your question… I will go ‘all out’, I’m sure others would love to see a prim and proper girl like yourself be scared out of her wits. Perhaps someone in particular with blonde hair himself?” He said as he slipped the phone into his pocket. He had saw Jett and Mina together sitting on the bench with a worried look on her face. That and how she sat with him at lunch, and left with him. Perhaps he meant a little more to her than normal. He was sure she wouldn’t want Jett to see this embarrassing video.

Jett didn’t answer Kasuke as she told him to get some rest. Still in that concerning tone. He sat there for a bit after everyone had left. The warm breeze of the evening blowing against his face, as he went through what happened just recently over and over again. Realizing what an ass he was and while at the same time, how stubborn Haruka was. But how different she was now that she had lost her leg. She wasn’t the same bad ass, center of attention, funny dork he met back when he was ten…

He pulled the necklace back over his head and held it in his other hand that was free of the tie he had wrapped around. He rubbed his thumb against the fake jewel as thousands of different thoughts and memories of Haruka rushed through his mind. But, one did come to his mind.

Six years before

Jett was walking towards school, having a doctor's appointment earlier in the day and was dropped off at home because his mom and dad had an emergency to attend to as heros. Even so, it was still early enough to make it… Or at least, it should have been, if he hadn’t been sidetracked by the sudden sound of snoring coming from a nearby pine shrub. He stopped for a moment, unsure about what he heard at first but made his way over to the pine shrub. It didn’t look very large… but upon closer inspection, it seemed like all but the bigger branches of the shrub had been trimmed off, leaving an amorphous orb of outer needles which could be brushed aside, revealing a shady hollow underneath. And there, nestled between two particularly smooth forks of the central trunk was…

The girl lay utterly still, her arms folded behind her head and her legs propped against the other side of the fork. Her eyes were shut, and save for the rustling of her short cropped black hair in the breeze - which could easily have been mistaken at a glance for just a bit more of the shrubbery from the outside - and the steady rising and falling of her stomach with each breath, she was completely still. As he parted the branches to peer in, however, a ray of light shone through the gap, leaving splashes of sunshine dancing across her form like a mosaic in motion. One such ray of lambent light passed sharply over her eyes, and the lid of one fluttered immediately open.

“Who’s there?” The girl’s voice sounded cold, almost defensive. Perhaps “hostile” would have been a better word, if it weren’t for the devil-may-care attitude that positively seemed to emanate from her. She stared him down with a single golden eye, but didn’t even bother to unfold her arms or lift her head from where she’d been lying. If it weren’t for the fact she’d stopped snoring, it would have almost been like she’d never woken up at all. Even her voice sounded too lazy to actually bother caring that someone had found her napping spot.

Her eye wandered up and down, looking him over from his head to his feet, and then, seemingly satisfied, shutting once again. “A student, huh? Whatever. If they sent somebody to look for me, it’d be some big dumb teacher. ‘Sides, the sun’s still at an angle, so class probably hasn’t even started yet…” She gave a slight shrug, then rolled over to one side, turning her face away from him. “Oi. Lower that branch. You’re makin’ it hard to sleep.”

Jett was speechless for a bit as she went on about a few things. He was just still surprised that there was a girl sleeping in a pine. So very odd, and her carefree attitude was intriguing. He had never seen this girl before at his school, and he knew many kids. The uniform she was wearing didn’t look familiar, either. It had a black jacket rather than the blue one he was familiar with. And yet, she was right outside the school gates, and had mentioned something about a teacher… As if to confirm his suspicions, he heard heavy footfalls jogging rapidly past the bush, and saw a large shape crossing the grounds, looking about, then circling around the side of the school and out of sight. “Harukaze-kun! Where did you run off to?!” A man that sounded distinctly like Jett’s homeroom teacher was shouting something in the distance… and my oh my, he did not sound happy. “Geez, so noisy,” The girl on the branch grumbled, rolling back over with an irritated sigh.

Wait she was in his class? He looked over to where he heard his homeroom teacher, who looked straight at Jett. “Haven, have you seen a black haired student with gold eyes around here?”

Jett hesitated for a moment, looking around for a moment before his eyes connected with the girls. She was blocked still by the pine so his teacher couldn’t see her. After a moment's pause he looked back to his homeroom teacher. “No Sensei! I think I would remember someone with gold eyes!”

The teacher sighed and started to walk away. “Make sure you are in class on time Haven!”

Jett only nodded and glanced back at the girl who was Harukaze and smiled.

Harukaze blinked in momentary surprise, but shrugged and rolled back over a moment later, evidently unconcerned. “He’s gonna be super mad if he finds out you lied, ya’ know. You sure you don’t wanna tell him I’m here?” She observed casually, casting a sly grin back over her shoulder and down at him.

He shrugged, as he looked away. “Nope…not really. He’s a jerk anyways.” He glanced up just catching the sly grin at the last moment. “I an’t no snitch.” he said jokingly. He then said, “My name’s Jett by the way. It’s nice to meet you.” He offered his hand to shake her hand.

“Suit yourself,” The girl said, giving another apathetic shrug. As he reached out his hand, it was clear that she noticed it, but evidently, she didn’t feel particularly inclined to descend from her little perch to return the gesture. “Jett Haven, huh?” She mumbled to herself, evidently having pieced together his full name from his earlier conversation with the teacher. She gave a second glance to his hair, then nodded knowingly. “A foreigner, but you use slang… So it’s not that you’re a foreigner, but rather that your parents are foreign. And, judging by the fact that the idiot who was gullible enough to believe you remembered you by name and told you not to be late, you’re in the same year as me. But, since he felt the need to remind you, and since you lied, you’re not a very good student, are you?” She rattled off a list of deductions with surprising speed, sounding more confident in each successive bit of reasoning than the one which had come before it. By the end of her little address, one might practically have expected her to slip into a deerstalker cap and explain that it was all “elementary, my dear Watson.”

Harukaze chuckled to herself, a fresh grin appearing on her face. She seemed rather proud of her observational skills, to say the least. “Ah, how bad. My parents always warned me about hanging out with people who tell lies and cut classes… Ooh, and foreigners are supposedly really casual and rude, right? What a shame… I might be influenced to become a delinquent. How bad, how bad indeed.”

He frowned when she didn't shake his hand, but let it drop to his side. He couldn't help but shrug as she pegged him for a student who gets into trouble. Sounding awfully like Sherlock Holmes, a book his father read to him growing up. When she went on to explain how foreigners were rude, how she shouldn't hang with people who lie and cut classless. He raised his eyebrow, and said in return. “ Foreigners are rude and casual? I was just helping a pretty girl hide from ’some big dumb teacher’ so she can continue to nap through class on her own accord. And the only thanks I received was rudeness and insults.” He sighed as he said it nonchalantly “I hardly doubt you would be influenced by a foreigner like me. But I'll hang out with you if that's what you're getting at.” Saying with slight smile.

“Hmm, it seems this one doesn’t understand sarcasm…” The girl mumbled to herself, sounding as though she was taking notes, or perhaps narrating a nature documentary. “I guess I could let it slide since you said I was pretty, though... “ She trailed off, before giving him a wary look. “Although, if you’re expecting me to act like I owe you anything, don’t get your hopes up. Even if that guy figured out where I was, there’s no way he could catch me, anyhow.” Another shrug punctuated this statement. “But, I guess this is a nice place for napping, and it’d be a pain if I could only use it this once, so… thanks, I guess.”

“That wasn't so hard was it? You're welcome by the way. “ he said with a big ol grin. “Well have a good nap. I'll cash in that ‘I owe you’ later. It's only fair.” He added as he started to walk away. He heard her clearly. But he ignored it, as well as the cry of “Hey, wait just a minute!” that rang out behind him as he left. Huh. So it was possible to get a rise out of her, he thought to himself as his he held his big grin on his face as he headed to class.

Homeroom that day started late. The teacher didn’t show up until almost fifteen minutes after the bell rang, and had been seen out the window running back and forth across the school grounds. By the time he shambled into class, he seemed exhausted. The bored-looking transfer student he dragged in behind him, however, hardly even seemed winded. He delivered a breathless excuse of some sort, but his words slurred together as he brushed the sweat from his brow and flopped down into a chair. Honestly, the poor man looked like he’d just run a marathon, and given the absolute death glare he was giving to the dark-haired girl slouching in the corner, it was pretty obvious to Jett what the cause of his present discomposure was.

After a few sputtered commands, the girl seemed to finally realize why she was standing at the front of the class - that, or she had just been stubbornly intent on being as obtuse as possible, and so had refused to comply until it was absolutely demanded of her. But, when the time came for her to make her self-introduction…

“‘Yo.” She raised two fingers in what could either have been a wave or a salute, and gave a cheeky grin. “I’m Harukaze Haruka. I guess I’m gonna be in this class from now on.” She scratched her head, and glanced back to the teacher, who simply glowered at her - but she just kept grinning as if she didn’t even notice. ”Let’s see… I honestly don’t care what you call me, so long as it’s not stupid. I’m faster than anyone, super tough, and I can do anything if I put my mind to it. Basically, fate’s on my side, so mess with me if you dare!” She gave a raucous laugh, and put her hands at her hips, standing sharply upright as if she was trying to tower over the rows of confused students sitting in front of her despite her own meager stature. Her little boast was almost immediately cut off by the teacher, who dismissed her with a “That’s enough!” and sent her off to go sit in the far back corner of the room, away from the other students. That seemed to suit her just fine, however, as she spent more of that class looking out the window than she did paying attention to anything the teacher said, and was called out no less than four times for putting her feet up on her desk. If one had to describe her behavior, the best word for it would probably be “theatrical.” It was as if she was trying to play up every single stereotype she could to be the most mysterious and menacing new arrival as she could. As for whether it worked or not…

By the end of the first week since her arrival, almost everyone knew about Harukaze Haruka, the rumored problem child. However, almost nobody had spoken to her, and of those bold few who had, they’d usually just ended up fighting. It was immediately clear right from the very start that this girl had absolutely no interest in making friends, and no concern for the world around her. Even when she was in the same room, it was like she was miles away. And yet, it was precisely because of how far away she seemed that one almost couldn’t help but pay attention to her. She was a nuisance, to be sure… but she was still somehow larger than life, and one almost felt compelled to laugh or gawk at her ridiculous behavior.

Despite all this, Jett was perhaps the only one who was insane enough to keep on trying. Smiling and saying hello when ever he had an opportunity. Offering her to sit with him at lunch. Each and every time it was clear she had no interest in becoming his friend, and more often than not, he’d hardly have any time to so much as speak to her before she was gone again. Sometimes, a black blur would speed through the hallways, pursued by several angry students. Others, he’d hear shouts from outside and look out the window to find what looked like a fight against something that couldn’t be seen. Or others, he’d simply catch a glimpse of that tiny figure, settled alone in the corner of the cafeteria - but by the time he could get through the crowd to reach her, she’d already be finished and out the door. It seemed impossible to get close to her, much less understand her - that is, until that night...

Roy Kusayanagi

Roy smirked before busting out into laughter after getting a reaction out of Mina. He was also partially thankful that she didn't instinctively attack the boy. Her girly scream was quite satisfying, "You know your pretty cut when your frightened". Roy kept on laughing before it slowly declined to quietness. "Haha..ha.." His vision got blurry soon as the injuries caught up to him. Roy began falling backwards before gritting he grit his teeth and caught his body. The injuries he sustained seemed to have been catching up to him as he was reaching his limit. "I'll be fine...I just need to treat my wounds and sit in the sunlight a bit" Roy said as he made his way over to the armory in search of a first Aid Kit.

Surely there would be one somewhere, he looked all around through all the weapons and gear and found it against a wall. He grabbed it and took a seat, the first item he takes out is some ointment, bandage wrap, and a pair of scissors. He cleaned the wounds, wincing as it stung before rubbing ointment on the cuts. Finally topping his arm with a bandage wrap. he took his phone and used it as a mirror in order to dress the cut on his face. Roy cleaned it before rubbing ointment on cut and wrapping some bandage around his forhead. He wanted to visit the nurse but didn't want to miss the dinner Donny was preparing. Roy placed the scissors back and grabbed a couple more packets of cleansers and ointment as well as some more bandage wrap to bring back for Ezra. He walked over to Ezra and handed him the first aid supplies."Dress your wounds at least so they won't look at you crazy" Roy said smirking as he made his way to the exit of the gym.

"Lets get some food, I'm starving" Roy said to Ezra, Mina, and Takeshi. He held the door open for everyone to walk through. It was around sunset and also Roys final chance to get some more energy before the day is over. The group of four made their way back to the A-1 dorm house. Roy let out a sigh to himself, "the 3 biggest Egos all together" he said under his breath. He turned back around at Takeshi as they arrived at the dorm, "Mind sending me that video you took of Mina. I could also have some use for it" he smiled widely while rubbing his hands.

ACION

Acion was about to head out of the class to patch up his hand when a girl with familiar features of sheep walked in, seemingly was there for the dinner. If his memory wasn't wrong, she was in Quirk Application with him, and had introduced herself as Hitomi. As soon as she saw his injury, her expressions glimmered with worries. He somewhat already had an intuition of her motherly and kind nature, but wasn't expecting her to go that far for such a minor injury. But still, he was offered help, and she would probably be a lot more skilled in these kinds of things than him.

"Ah, thank you. I can do it myself, but if you insist."

Ayato Kamina

”Uhh, ok, I’ll save you a seat.” He was sort of disappointed to be eating instead, but he was sort of hungry, and evidently eating was pretty important when working out. Kenichi walked off to find his friends and Kamina thought it a little weird he went towards the girls dorm, but he didn’t care too much. It shouldn’t be that bad.

He wandered on over to the dining room where several people were gathered already. Mamoru was greeting everyone and announcing that she was tonight’s waiter. He greeted her with his seven wisps still floating around him.“Hey, I guess I need two seats. Kenichi is coming soon too, and he needs a spot.”

”Ooh, this is fancy.”

”It’s certainly respectable.”

”Ha, yeah”, he responded quietly. ”So, what are they making tonight?” He asked Mamoru now.

Yashiro Michiko

Michiko nodded and started placing bowls on multiple platters. She smiled at Acion’s reaction to her little roast, but suppressed a giggle at the short pink haired girl saying she got a bad pickle. She moved some platters to the counter where Acion and Tomoe and Hitomi were.

After she noticed Acion had cut himself, she found it funny that sheep girl was so worried over a little cut. Takeshi and her other brothers normally walked in with serious gashes, including herself and they were told to clean up before dinner. It was strange to see how others reacted to such a tiny cut that normally her brothers would not even bother to wrap.

She looked down to the pink haired girl as she looked up at her with stars in her eyes asking about the cookies. She was adorable. Looking to Hitomi as she was offered as collateral for a cookie. Uh… I’m always willing to have more friends, but the cookies were meant for everyone here. She offered the platters to all three of them .

”However, Dinners ready, no more cookies till everyone eats. Don’t want to spoil your appetite! Donny-kun worked hard on this, we should be grateful for his hard work. Now please…” She pointed to the platters and looked at all of them.
“Take these out to the others! Chop chop.out of the kitchen. ” She said sweetly and almost motherly to them.
