Speaking of Doom and so on, the new Wolfenstein honestly didn't live up to the hype I had for it. This is coming from the person who loved TNO and played the other Wolfenstein games like Enemy Territory constantly. There were story points that felt forcefully added in that were either completely forgotten or forgotten long enough to somehow make them relevant later in the game. Also, if I have to hear "my brothers and sisters" one more time... I don't know, but it's honestly annoying.
Now for underrated, the Resistance series was good (in my opinion). Admittedly, the sequels weren't as great as Fall of Man, but I enjoyed the series. It's a shame it hasn't gained the attention other series had, and kind of faltered off into the distance.
