Marinalia (Romus) Olympus

&

Victoria Darya Romus

Centre Point . Public Party . Firday evening

Marinalia was too distracted by the tall blondes approach still a abit away seemingly gesturing towards them, great seems any chance of time alone was going to interrupted somewhat.

Noticing the cardboard knight now pretty heavy on the meed, well it was a party, even of Ren was a tad impolite.

Be nice Kylo, though he gonna have one hell of a hangover...
Joseph was most nice to Vika.

Beating jazz night would be pretty easy for her, not being assaulted and drugged would work for that point. Bar the earlier threats things seemed to be calming down and the extensive security layers they city was putting on seemed to be working. One bush seemed to be a casualty of the evening though.

Smiling and enjoying the dance for the last bit before they would be interrupted by the people she saw coming, and despite reservations hugged Ren quickly. She could Trust Ren she felt, and be honest, well more honest than pretending she was totally OK.

I... I still get odd nightmare from those two. I very much hope so.

Hiding her torn expression a second and blinking back to her normal warm grey eyes, before breaking the hug.

Aye. Unlike many there. I quite like my family. Weddings safer too!

Vika introduced you two... He seemed a tad busy trying to kiss my sister though. Hey... Don t let her hear that Mr.

Smiling, a movie night sounded fun and she had become abit of a serris geek during the cold northern evenings in Alaska. It was too cold for the Native British woman to want to go anywhere but esential travel.

you'll just have to find out the layers, no spoilers...

Alaska. It's a tad cold outside even in early autumn. Ooh... That could be fun.

A phone number would help, even a email. Despite there ability to bump into each other it was not entirely reliable. Scribbling a phone number on the back of a Sol Bucks repciet for a Pumpkin Spice Lattee, extra shot and a pan auto chocolat. In a neat and slightly curly hand writing she cheekily slid the number into his pocket.

now you can text me.

Brace for interruptions...

Then the very tall man, woman. She was not quite sure and a rather formal red head in the fancy dress came over. Yeah it was one who seemed to be wearing a summer dress from the south in northern winter. She could pretend just to be some decorative bimbo, but no, she did know him well ernough to know she was pretending 100%.

Grey eyes narrowing a fraction as she was passed over slightly, jealous perhaps, or was it she thought she was his date? With a English accent that could of been on BBC news and a faint smile. Gig Ren a kiss on the cheek just as freinds, it did not hurt to make sure she knew she got there first.

Of course, I assume a lady can attend with you and Mr Griffin?

Miss Romus Olympus, my freind is yet to introduce us. Welcome to the City

Polite. Maybe overly formal, it was likw one of those overly fancy balls whee everyone decided that time has rolled back a century or so for the evening. Of course she could go to the 501 club on a firday night fight night... Hiding her thoughts, masked behind a wall of politeness and old fashioned wording.

Victoria smiled and softened her accent with the panicked woman, she knew what that felt like and the last thing you needed was her pulling off queen's English on top of it. Milo was joking and trying to make light of things, well he seemed to be more robust both in body and humour.

Its alot easier when your 6 foot!

And it beats Princess Elsa.

Laughing slightly, Milo had a big size advantage and she would of bounces right off him rather than stagger the much smaller woman. Leaning one side on the walking stick and other on Milo, finding her balence again slightly. Slightly embarrassed at what did they call there relationship again? They would have to talk about that, freinds was too little, freinds with benefits yet yet to gain any and couple terms seemed too early... Date worked for now.

[i]Don t worry. Im not made of bone China. Despite being so pale. [/i

Trying to reassure her, she noticed the reaction to Lady De Winter, did she work in same industry, because she was sure she saw a name similar to hers pop up on the local business directory sites. Somthing about some MMO game or such too... Maybe it was a app or such.. There was somthing. Tripping self out her thoughtful look both seeming to be trying to work out clues or some kinda nervous questions that floated on the wind.

Computer people tended to be on the stranger sides, they both if right seemed to fit in a industry, where being abit strange was apcepted and frankly normal.

The hair comment caught her by surprise, most people thought it was some extreme style, but no it was natural, partly tied back in a detailed platt under hood, though some was viable of that partly. Some others just she was unlucky or older than she was.

thanks... Some times you Don t have a choice.

You need any help?

She was on a date and gave Milo a slightly sorry look a second but could not leave a panicked woman alone, She had been her before and once you had, helping was not a question but a must if you could. Genuinely caring, hoping Milo would understand.

Watching about as best she could, she also another tall man a rather well wrapped up small woman entering the party heading to the bush massacre over with the thug and Co.

It seemed the city was showing its true diversity of people in height, wealth, nations and more. Strangely the woman walking with man seems to remind her of somthing, was it herself?

Vesarian Romus watched and decided the place would be calm, seeing both his daughters socialising and happy, they did not need him, they could look after themselves.

A man attacking a bush, most where of no concquence bar the gathering at the bush. They seemed to have more about them. One was much more careful and seems to be far more alert. Hmmm.. That man might be one to watch. Not the muscle bound hulk of the other but the man being seemingly kissed by a another man.

Heading over to city hall. His hotel was near but he wanted a drink and paying for it was foolish when the city was so generous tonight. Walking up the steps, polar like grey eyes watching some human baby whale in a track suit and a woman talking. Nudging past to get over to a bear by bar, a polite reply in his mixed English and Russian accent though he had learned to adjust between the two somewhat more than he was trying.

She was sharp... She definitely was not one he decided to antagonise, the baby whale on other hand was fair game.

excuse me, sorry about that, have a good evening.

Not sorry, but hey ans sat back with a glass of Vodka, watching couples and dancers, prance and the posers. He had loved exactly 5 women, his mother, Maria, his wife, and two daughters. Sadly only two now returned it, one it was tense, two others sadly he could only leave flowers. No one had quite managed to get close after losing Victoria's mother, only Maria... Ans he had left her when he was young and foolish. They where amacable, there was always a tension of the past lovers, both good, and past hurts.

The cold eyed ships captain merely studied the room and thought, he had not chosen a easy life.

The mayor was relived. Things seemed to be turning around before some man in a suit had a go at a bush... There went Sol cities taxes on a new plant.maybe he should suggest a spike replacement. As police looked to intervene a freind came to drag them off and away. Good. Looking to city hall, he saw its last that's shine out. This evening had been a success.

Turning to his entourage and all seeming to agree on same thought the Mayor and some of senior City staff headed to a side door at the hall to warm up abit.

Paige Kennedy

When she first came out of training in Glynco, GA and the graduate assignments were being issued Paige considered it a divine stroke that she was given a security detail in her home district of middle Florida. She knew the people, the lay of land and it was where she lived her entire life. She did her mandatory three years with Florida State Police after graduating from UF and went straight in to the Marshals. So many that had doubted her and derided her career choices as a woman would get to see the full payoff. She loved to prove people wrong. What she had not counted on, however were the bizarre responses she received when her new counterparts heard of her first assignment as a newly minted US Marshal. Sure, there were congratulations and pats on the back at her accomplishments, but there was a feeling of something left unsaid that she could not quite put her finger on as she went out to meet her first charge, Federal Judge Ermano Asis.

For some time the Judge was being looked after by a very seasoned, grizzled old Marshal by the name of Lyle Preacher who was in the twilight of his career and ready to retire. Lyle was an Army veteran of Vietnam and had been a Marshal nearly his entire life. He smoked vigorously, kept a flask in his coat pocket, had a grip like a steel-beam and an attitude to match. Originally from eastern Alabama, he carried a heavy accent and a military issue .45 as his sidearm. He was to show Paige the ropes of the job and then exit quietly. He wasn’t crazy about being replaced by a woman, but was near enough to a sizeable pension and peaceful retirement that he went along without being too vocal about it. Paige liked him tremendously. He reminded her of the Marshals of old- a thought he was all too quick to dispel her of right out of the gate.

“This country’s going down the shitter faster than you can whistle Dixie,” He said one day as they road along down 301. “Glad I won’t live to see it.” He seemed to consider his words and glanced over at his replacement, “The judge and his wife have much higher aspirations as you will see,” He continued, “What you’re going to have to watch out for is their punk-ass kid, Lupe.” He studied her quizzical look, “Spoiled brat has been ignored his whole life, if you don’t put him in his place early on he’ll run right over you and you’ll be a stewardess on JPATS before you know it.”

She remembered the almost gleeful smile he carried when she dropped him off for his last flight home to Alabama out of Delta International. No good luck, no goodbye, just door shut, bag over shoulder and off to the terminal.

At first things went fairly smoothly. Ermano was a quiet, non-controversial judge. Along with his wife, he carried himself with class and was by the book. He did not want anything to derail his long-planned run for the US Senate and his plans beyond. There were threats of course, but the criminal element had been so tamed by Preacher they were careful how far they stuck their tattooed necks out until they were sure he was gone and there was only the new Marshal, Kennedy, with which to contend. After the iron hand of Preacher she seemed like a breath of fresh, heroin-laced air. It became clear to Paige that she would never be able to hold the power in the way of her predecessor. Lupe and his unsavory cohorts from Delta Bay viewed her more as a curiosity than an authority.

Things remained in their tenuous, awkward state until one late evening when Lupe didn’t arrive for a planned public dinner outing. Late as usual, no one was surprised. He assured everyone earlier that he would most definitely be in attendance and naturally in grand style. The swanky restaurant on the Bay was one of his favorites and the Asis family would be entertaining some hopeful future campaign donors. Paige felt a vibration in her pocket and checked her phone, a one word text from Lupe: Help. Considering he never asked for anything and merely took what he wanted at will, Paige’s glance widened in surprise. She called. No answer. When she had his cell-phone signal pinged he was not even inside the city limits, but somewhere off the interstate. The signal was moving. He was driving.

Screaming down the highway she exited off onto a state, then an old county road that wound through the inland swamps. He kept moving at high speed, turning slowing then taking off again. She figured he was likely drunk driving or just playing one of his stupid games with her. She swore when she caught up to him he was going to finally get his ass kicked out here in the middle of nowhere where there would be no witnesses. The signal stopped at about the same time she rounded a bend in the road. She could see the tail lights of his Alfa Romeo convertible sticking up from the ditch… with another vehicle, a large SUV stopped right behind and several figures jumping out. They froze in the sight of her headlights. She slid to stop on the shoulder and flung the door open.

“Nothing to see here ma’am,” One of the men called out. “Just helping our friend… He’s had an accident.” There were six of them.

“Well that’s good, because I’m a police officer,” She said advancing slowly. She knew she had the advantage of having her car’s headlights behind her. They could only make out her general figure: Jeans, hair up in a high pony-tail, a light quarter-sleeve top and her gun on her hip where her hand rested.

Her response had the affect she expected. Everyone looked at each other and said nothing. She studied them carefully. Tattoos, piercings, clothing style, skin tone: Gator poachers. What in the hell had he stirred up this time? She thought. There was white smoke rising out of the Alpha. She couldn’t even tell if Lupe was moving.

Someone else finally spoke up in a hefty southern drawl, “What we’re saying is we don’t need any help, bitch.”

The others chuckled and she stopped. She could see hands moving in the darkness trying to hide from her.

“That’s, Federal-Bitch, dumbass,” She shot back. “Now get back in your car and get the fuck out of here.” She could feel her pulse tighten as the words came out. Focus. Draw. Fire. Her standoff training spoke in her mind. She couldn’t let her thoughts wander. Only focus.

The previous moment repeated itself again, slightly shorter. All froze until the man who had spoken first, spoke again, “That’s pretty bold considerin’ there’s six of us and only one of you, sister.” His tone was more level. He seemed to be the leader.

“I’ll kill four of you before you even clear your weapons,” She said gravely. Her eyes were stone and sullen, the same glance she would later be known for, “And I’ll take my chances with the other two.” No one moved. There were only the sounds of Florida night in midsummer and the simmering of coolant rising from Lupe’s ruined car. The sweet smell combined with cooked brakes and burnt rubber and hung in the air. “Now I’ll tell you again: Get in your car and leave and I’ll pretend like none of this ever happened.”

She later found out the group were part of the Swampfoot Gang, a soldier gang of the Dixie Mafia- A tidbit that Lupe decided to share after she hauled him out of his car and up the ditch. Bruised, scratched, cut, drug-addled and intoxicated, she could see he was still shaken as he explained how he ripped off two of them in a poker game and had been caught in the act. They were going to kill him for it. He’d been driving to find his way back to the interstate and buy time in hopes she’d come, but got lost and as he crested the bend where she’d stopped her car, lost control. As they sat there covered in dirt, sweat, oil and swamp rot she helped him work out a story to explain the car to his parents. There would be no mention of the hillbilly gangsters. She would deal with them again eventually.

The context of that night framed all their future interactions in her time as protection for the Asis family and as she saw him again for the first time in years it was the first thing to come to mind: A humid night on a deserted Florida backroad where she faced-down a gaggle of crank-fueled rednecks that were ready to skin him alive, literally. As he administered a genuine bear hug, her feet came off the ground. “Oh God!” She squeaked against constrained lungs, “It’s good to see you too, Lupe” She coughed and patted him on the back.

Glancing down at his ankle tether she smirked and shook her head. “Nice…” Her phone vibrated and she gave it a quick glance, before putting it away again. “Yeah, I’m actually working right now, no aliens yet though, I just got in a couple days ago. Got to ride in the, uhh… oh what was it called. I’m sure you’ve been in one… Gulfstream! That was it. It was nice.” An older man passed between them and she deftly waved him away, “It’s fine hun,” She said. Rudeness aside, she turned back to her fellow Floridian, “How’re your parents? We gotta catch up.” She said. After encountering Milo, it was refreshing to run into someone from Delta City that she actually gave a damn about. “You still play golf? I hit this target-ball place downtown the other night, next to the stadium. Wasn’t too bad.” She shivered and looked around, “I swear, I’m freezing my ass off,” She glanced back at him noticing the Indian had stepped away to take a call. “I gotta make a few rounds, but call me, maybe we can see about getting your ankle jewelry removed, my number’s the same.”

Joseph Moore

Joseph wasn't sure what he'd been expecting when he's decided to introduce himself to the blonde man, who was being surprisingly quite friendly. However, he could say with a fair amount of certainty that it wasn't to be kissed smack bang on the lips. Oh, he'd heard what he'd said about it being some form of Slavic greeting, but still, it was a hell of a surprise.

He'd probably have to apologise to Ren about all the teasing now though.

"Huh, well, I'll definitely say that I wasn't quite expecting that..." He said slowly, actually feeling a deal more sober somehow. "Maybe lets just start as friends first, yeah?"

He knew he really shouldn't, but he actually felt kind of guilty for how uncomfortable it made him feel. However, he was glad to put that thought out of his mind when Sasha started talking about Lord of the Rings, comparing him to Aragorn of all people!

"Well, I'm not sure I deserve to be compared to someone as good hearted as Aragorn, but I guess there are a few similarities. Still though, maybe someday, I'll talk to my grandparents again. However, I doubt I could ever put the wanderer part of my life away properly. If it weren't for that, I would never have seen half the beautiful things I've seen. Never helped the people I helped. I mean, no offence to you, because you seem pretty alright, but if I had just gone with my grandparents and become Joseph Johannesen after my parents died, I might have ended up like your Cuban friend, and let me tell you, I'm only all too glad to haw avoided that fate."

And then he paused, realising that his drunken ramblings had caused him to accidentally let out exactly which obscenely rich family he technically belonged to. Worse still, not only would Sasha almost definitely recognise the name, he or his family may very well have had connections with them. After all, the Johannesen Conglomerate wasn't exactly an obscure company, with Alexander and Sarah Johannesen being fairly well known as 'richer than God'.

"Um, I don't suppose you could keep the Johannesen part to yourself, could you? I wanna try living on my own power a little longer, you know?"

However, before he could continue, he somehow heard a familiar voice over the sounds of the festival, and turned around.

"Oh, Olivia!" He said, a bright smile on his face, before quickly turning back to Sasha. "Hey Sasha, I'm gonna head over to talk to one of the few other friends I've managed to make in this city, but it was surprisingly pretty nice talking to you! Next time you wanna chat, find a pigeon and ask for me within it's earshot. I'll find you. Anyway, remember to tell Pissgate that he's literally the worst humanity has to offer, and I'll see you then!"

And then he kind of stumble-jogged over to Olivia and Victor, grin still on his face.

"Hey, so did you manage to find your grandmother alright after I left on Wednesday? I mean, I know you could probably handle it alright on your own, but you know. Just wanna make sure."

And then he noticed the large man behind her, and hoped the small pang of dissapointment he felt didn't show on his face.

"So is this guy your date tonight? I swear, everyone I've had an actual conversation with in this city, I've seen tonight with a date. It's almost kind of unsettling."

He chuckled a bit.

"Next thing I know, I'm gonna see the Cuban with a date who doesn't look depressed and uncomfortable just from listening to him..."

And then he held his hand out to the muscular man, hoping that no small hunt f depression entered his expression. Of course, he was still quite drunk, so unfortunately it was almost definitely pretty clear on his face. Still, he was pretty sure he managed to hide it fairly quickly, so maybe he'd managed to escape notice regardless.

"Hi, I'm Joseph Moore, one of Olivia's more recent friends. Nice to meetcha!"

Ashton Griffone || Central Point || Public Party || Friday Evening

@Almalthia@Furiosa@PrinceAlexus@RoccanIronclad@Lemons

Ashton just returned Ren's narrowed look with a bright cheerful smile, seemingly unfazed by any sense of bad attitude he gave off, if she noticed anyway. Could be a bad mood, could be just how the man was and that was okay. Some people just had a natural sour look. Some could get prickly without meaning to, but that was okay too. Friends come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and so on after all! Turning her gemstone gaze toward Siobhan as she introduced between Ashton and Ren. Ren was his name then.

Turning a smile to the pair, the tall blonde giant only tilted her head a little at the peck on the cheek but otherwise didn't seem bothered by it. Only cheerfully clapping her fingerless gloved hands together in a joyful manner as if to show how happy she was to meet the two. Standing stock tall for a moment, she waved her left arm to wrap around her abdomen as she gave a polite bow of greeting before standing straight again with a amused smile as if she was given a silent chuckle.

Soon enough the woman with Ren introduced herself as Miss Romus Olympus, responding with a double thumbs up and a toothy grin. To answer in the fact she did not mind at all having a lady present. More friends the merrier. It was apparent probably by the battle scarred face and baggy rugged attire that Ashton wasn't as fancy as these two lovely ladies she just met. But they seemed nice and it was great to be able to meet new people.

Amethyst eyes brightening she lightly clapped her hands together, pointing toward Romus and Ren before hovering her hands all over the festivities around them, only briefly glancing around before turning her questioning gaze toward them. Wondering if they having a good time here at this event?

Victor Henson

Friday Night >>> Central Point

Victor walked slowly beside Olivia making sure not to lose the small girl in the crowed, she seemed to be commenting on the look of the festivities when she trailed off. Something caught her eye as she looked through the break in the crowed. He wasn’t sure if it was the same person he saw until she spoke a name, “Joseph” Joseph is not the name of the man that Victor glared at. Honestly Victor didn’t like being around the people he worked with when he didn’t have too, but there he was, Sasha god-damn Kuznetsov. Victor had already read the file on the kid and frankly he wasn’t impressed.

His stare was broken by the man clad in cardboard and duct tape, the slight smell of alcohol followed him and his mere sight reminded him of the homeless. This man was somewhat strange towards victor saying he was Olivia’s date, his posture changed to a bit defensive, sure he looked harmless but victor didn’t know him.

For a moment his attention shifted to a man beating up a bush and then seeing another man strike him then help him up and out of the spot light. “Such a strange place” he muttered as his attention again was brought back to this man who showed hints of depression across his face as he introduced himself. “My name is Victor and I’m uh not her date, I’m her brother.”

He looked the man up and down again before glancing over to Olivia, “one of your friends eh?” he smiled at her before glancing around at all the people. Not very many stood out other than a very tall blonde a little ways away, “so Olivia you want to start heading towards the ball room and perhaps out of this cold?” he wasn’t trying to be pushy he only figured by the size of the girls coat that she was a bit cold or by her size and pale skin maybe a bit frail. His eyes rested on the tall blonde again for a moment, he couldn’t tell if the blonde was a boy or girl yet but looked like this person was easily six inches taller than him.

Central Point 🍧 Public Party 🍧 Friday Evening

'The darkening mist proceeded to envelop an otherwise sleeping village's harmonic form. Cold and unforgiving, the touch of death accompanied the ever looming presence. There had been rumors of a herald, one who brought judgement to the unworthy. He was said to be freeze the very blood of an onlooker's fragile frame. Truly, meeting this gestalt was a curse reserved for stories, and nightmares. It is however as they say, there is always a fraction of truth, in every myth.'

With a soft breath escaping his lips, Winter tapped slender, pale fingers against the cold surface of his glass. Short nails clicked against the reflective surface, though the sound was quickly drowned out not only by the ever growing crowd, but also the ever present music making its way from Winter's headset. An inspiration for his story? The chilling surface of his glass offered an idea, if nothing else. He had promised his sister to attempt this feat of social pursuits. Thoughts of his last meeting came to mind, and Winter could not consider the event a success by any stretch of the imagination. That white haired young student on the path to a doctorate offered anything but a pleasant introduction, and Winter was not prepared to act much better in response. Needless to say, this did not bode well as a first impression by the brave, new world Winter had so carelessly promised his sister to be part of.

Sipping from the drink which was a beverage far more appreciated by those of a refined palette, the author managed a sigh before his eyes traced their gaze across the festivities. Groups had formed and shaped into smaller clusters, each one a source of communication which in turn offered pleasantries the corner could not compete with. Where was the safety, however? Where was the tactical approach? In the air of an approach, what exactly was Winter doing here? Feeling of place was sever understatement. He had found a corner which was quickly confiscated by the young man and called home. Its confines would do, and it would act as a fine excuse. If no one came to talk with him, it wasn't Winter's fault, now was it? To be fair, his sister was expecting quite a lot from him. She was supposed to join him in this event but work swept her from heeled feet.

With his hands upon the circular bar table, the esteemed and far too forgettable author lazily leaned his slight weight against it's shape. Large, raven eyes then shifted between the fiction presented in a leather bound notebook, and those drawing the surroundings a social event. What inspiration could he gather, in a place like this? A masquerade, perhaps`A vampire ball, dark and mysterious? How about a scene where the shy and reserved author poked a whole in that bubble known as insecurity and stepped out of his comfort zone? No, no one would read that. Would they? People didn't dive into the world of a book's many sentences because they wanted to read a reflection of reality. They wanted something else. Winter wasn't it.

Then, it was unfair to assume, wasn't it? Taking another sip of his glass, Winter narrowed it down to the atmosphere, at this point. He never did like white wine, or any kind of wine, for that matter. But there was a thin line between appearing vaguely interesting, and being a pathetic waste of breath in the corner. That glass of wine was the line, and it did not require deep thought to come to a certain understanding. One approach was more attractive, than the other.

There was a certain air of mystery upon a man making the scene his own, sensually sipping from a glass of wine with dark eyes welcoming his surroundings. This was, of course, not the image brought to fruition at the sight of this eternal teenager apparently unable to reach the physical shape of his age. Of course, it was worthy of note, dotting his awkward and less than graceful personality. Tripping on his words, lost in thought and unable to look others in the eye. Indeed, Winter was anything but the alpha would seek in the male companion. Rather, a lost puppy would reach along a more fitting description.

Eventually, Winter would be forced to yield to his less refined tastes, and gently pushed the still filled glass a distance across the table. 'Welcome to your life.., there was however one thing Winter could constantly count on. His music. Without it, it was safe to say that the young author would barely function. Words would not leave his fingertips and they certainly would not find home on paper. '...every body wants to rule the world!' But at least there was that, wasn't there? At least, he would always have that.

Victoria Darya Romus

City Hall . Public Party . Firday evening

Victoria followed the flow of people eventually making there way to city hall, gathering momentum as it pushed up the steps, down the roads and paths to city hall. Hanging onto Milo for size, the smaller woman more vunrable to the mass, the tanned looking nervous woman having tagged on and the two seeming to share a small bond of similarity due to career and Victoria knowing what nerves felt like.

Beneath a confident outer layer. Various weakness, worries and little things churned underneath, things seemed to be going almost too well. New City, Milo, her sister and beginnings of friends. Life normally was not that easy. Maybe she could admit to Milo and he not run off? Repaired, but like all broken objects you could still see the cracks.

Smiling and holding hands on the way there before sitting down at a small group of sofas near one of the bars with views of the large and beautifully decorated city hall. Speakers playing and a live band on stage performing a mix of songs. Partly affection and partly not wanting to be pulled away by crowds, the young woman finaly released her grip of her date, leaning the walking stick next to her. Much as she could walk abit. She was not making it too far without.

Taking off the coat, revealing long white hair in a intricate layered platt, some hanging free, other parts tired back to keep out of face. Normally not bothering, though tonight was a special occasion.

Drinks gained and time beginning to get later as some headed home, others heading off arm in arm drunk in love or alcohol or storming off having f been betrayed and bonds broken.

Talking with Rajvi, she seemed quiet, nervous and rather much like some of the people she had worked with. They all had two sides, the online and offline. One group, The Cardinal, Athos, Porfos, and more, the rather boisterous online chats had been rather more muted when they met in real life.

Hey... Server coded are important too! Try emailing without correctly set up data ports and link nodes... Yet alone counter attack defence systems..

My date might be napping soon if go on too long!

Oh... Sorry... We kinda got caught up in things... OK I'm a nerd underneath..

Looking over to Milo who was likely confused as a nerd in a sports bar, or a sportsman in a hacker convention, he had been patiantly quiet and probbly either bored or just smiling along. Maybe he even learned somthing.

Stop by Frying Nemo after everything for fish and chips?
Make up? Curry sauce special tonight... I miss home food...

Smiling and teasing slightly, alcohol long having gone to head and dress showing more ghostly pale leg than before, dress cut to cover but also keep a person intrested. A small scar from a old IV line, other monitors marks and such, at hospital just poking out below the hem. Years later reminders remained, the ones one on arm and wrist though scars only seems a slightly darker pale shade than normal, raised in the shadows from lihghting. Everything about Victoria Romus was not entirely normal.

From there spot, she could see the party still going. The city was determined to stay awake, many gathered in another area yawned, obviously thr mayor and other senior people. Official suits and gold braids abound. When the city never slept. So must its staff.

Outside the street party was closing, thr thicker snow and growing cold forcing the people inside, winter was hitting harder than before. Across the city snow was gathering and the docks and rivers began to gain a thin layer of ice.

The animals at the zoo shivered or loved it in there controlled enclosures, the glass domes and sky lights of museum was covered by a blanket of snow. Across the city the winters bite was taking grip and would not let go till morning at least.

Milo Ventri

As Milo entered city hall alongside Vika and Rajvi, Milo did his best to keep up with the conversation, it was difficult though, Milo had little knowledge on computers, he could run the software that he used in the shop but outside of that, Jon Snow knew nothing. As they ended up sitting on a nearby sofa and they all tried to relax now in the warmth and out of the snow, he was content to people watch as the time moved by, he saw a few people moving into the building and getting warmed up, there was still a lot to do in the hall, drinks and food and such, however soon he would be brought into the conversation with a mention from Vika.

"Oh, don't worry about me, I am a computer whiz too, I sent an E-mail the other day."

Milo laughed as he joked about his apparent look of confusion, he really had no idea what they were talking about but it was nice to have the normalcy of just hanging out with friends, even if he had only just met one, really he and Vika had only just met what seemed like days ago. None of that mattered at the moment, things were good at the moment, he had even forgot the the ever present threat of the soul devouring Paige remained.

"I would love fish and chips. I used to make my own back in Delta, Ana and I used to fry up whatever we could catch, I haven't done any fishing since getting here, I even live by the dock."

Milo didn't recognize his memory as anything out of the ordinary, years ago he and Ana would spend an afternoon fishing to have a fish fry. His memories from Delta were mostly good, he had friends, family, a life, sometimes he forgets how good things had been for him, and how badly he ruined them. Milo though, he let himself for this moment have the good part of the memory, and not dwell on the negative, Ana was gone, back in Delta, Paige was inconsequential, Vika knew he had been a bastard before he left, there were no secrets that could come out to hurt him, save for a couple projects at home depending on how she feels about it.

Marinalia (Romus) Olympus

City Hall . Public Party . Firday evening

Marinalia followed the flow, following Ren, Siaborn, the quiet extremely tall woman who all seemed to follow the push to the main party at the city hall, Watching her sister abit head seeming to cling to Milo for protection as the crowd made its way through the busy doors. They where cute together, damn, she had managed more than marlin in a week then she had in a month or so. she did deserve some luck though.

Finding a spot near the two, deciding the quieter side of the city hall party near the bar would be easier to get somewhere to sit down and warm up after the snow and cold winds outside forced the outdoor party to be closed early. Talking, relaxing, everything felt a surprisingly normal evening in the dramatic turn of events previously at others gave way to genuinely social evening.

Yawning slightly, she would probably have to head home sooner rather than later as the upcoming race in the morning meant even with a overly large coffee on the way there she needed some sleep that night, glancing over to her sister and some smaller woman her and Milo seemed to have picked up along the way, well she seemed to be making a night of it at least.

The people seemed happy, and once the tension was over, her and the tall red head did have some similarities, and somehow seemed to know Ren from somewhere, she could swear they had something.. did the have a past love or drunk one night stand or something?

Movie night sounds a must, though maybe a night i can have fun and find some cheap wine and relax abit.

Sorry, i gotta go sooner than later. im flying tomorrow late morning

Yawning slightly, the night had been a longish one, unlike her sister who could sleep in she had to be up in the morning. Siobhan and the mute giant, she was not quite sure what to think about them, they where kind and seemed to mean all the best and despite being a good foot and half taller, was hardly threatening. raising a non alcholic cocktail to the group, everyone seemed to be having fun though being designated flier had its downsides.

To a lively city, and maybe new friends

Despite being sobre, the cheerful atmosphere was infectious, the music, the people and bright lights managed to make everything seem more active and fun. Even her misgivings about the prefect Possee, aka the greatest group of assholes to walk the planet had not bothered her and that little nagging fear was quiet for now.

Waving happily over to her sister, Milo and the other person, well she could look after self, and a chance she might not even be home till the afternoon, she was old enough to make her own mistakes and success.

Rajvi had done what she'd set out to do, that is to say, acquire some food. She was no longer hungry. However, she'd encountered an entirely separate issue now: between her social anxiety, the enormous press of crowds, the frigid weather, and the native danger of a young woman without much muscle mass walking home alone in the middle of the night, she was trapped in city hall.

There are too many people here, she thought, fidgeting nervously and gnawing on a thumbnail. I can't...I can't deal with this!

There were just too many people. Too many. She'd managed to function somewhat adequately outside, but in here she couldn't handle it. She withdrew into a shell, becoming nigh-unresponsive and just about shutting down until Victoria addressed her. She raised her head from its floor-looking orientation, eyes widening slightly in surprise.

"You...you think I'm important?"

In all her life, Rajvi had only heard those words just a slight handful of times. It was a rare enough occurrence for her to start surfacing from her withdrawal.

Kei Kinzo

Once everyone was shuffled into the City Hall building he realized that he was separated from Jimmy and the one guy that had kissed him on the lips, it sure was something else to be caught off guard like that and was not something Kei was used to in the least bit. He could still feel the lips of the other male, it made him shudder to his very core he never thought in his life he would feel another man's lip on his, but it seems there's a first time for everything in his life. He shuddered one more time and checked his surroundings checking to see if Sasha was somehow plotting to assault him with another kiss.

Once he realized that the coast was all clear he relaxed himself and began wading his way through the crowds of people within the City Hall. With the people outside having to move inside the City Hall the amount of people inside the building increased by several folds. Kei was sure that the maximum occupancy had been reached all things considered. Shrugging it off he made his way to a clearing of small couches and decided to sit down. Once he was settled into the couch he had realized that the security had not confiscated his firearm. He was amazed at how low the security was inside the City Hall, he figured they would be checking everyone for any sort of illegal contraband. He patted himself down and ensured that he still had his firearm and knife on his person. To no one's surprise they were still on him and untouched. Just ensure that all was well he got up from the couch he had just gotten comfortable in and made his way to the closest bathroom.

Once inside he took up one of the toilet stalls. Walking into said stall he shut the door behind him and slide the little dinky lock into place. Despite the massive amounts of people within the City Hall the bathrooms were in a nice condition and were not tainted with horrid smells. Kei was quiet happy about that. He closed the toilet lid and wiped it off just to be safe. Once he was sure it was clean enough for his liking he sat down on the toilet lid and then proceeded to reach into his jacket, to where his firearm holster was. Undoing the holster safety he slipped the gun out with ease and looked upon it. Nothing seemed to be obviously wrong with the gun as such he nodded in acceptance once the whole exterior was checked. He then proceeded to the slide back the slide of the gun, launching the chambered bullet into the air. With his quick reactions he caught the bullet before it hit the floor. At this point he did his basic gun check and was able to confirm his weapon had not been touched and was unfired.

Seeing as everything was safe and good to go he reloaded the gun and made his way out of the bathroom. Now it was time for him to actually converse with people and not seem so anti-social.

Victoria Darya Romus

City Hall . Public Party . Firday evening

Victoria relaxed, the young woman was particularly quiet and seemed extremely nervous about everything, what could be worse than Victoria's problems but she felt like she might open up and maybe be more than meets the eye hidden away. Milo seemed rather out of his depth on computers, sending a email smh.. Cute but definitely not a IT expert.

Cute hon... But I'd be useless swinging a hammer s call it a draw!

She was defenitely not sober. Not drunk but oh. She just called him hon and known each other 6 days, her composure cracking somewhat and laughing at the whole situation in all its crazy Ness. This was what a second date.. pull it together Victoria, your not 16, your a capable young woman with your own business... Family like him.. Relax a little... What happens happens.

Fish and chips it is. If love it!
Umm well long as you cook, I'm not exactly a expert chef. If you like pasta or cremated deserts...

I nearly burned down my dad's kitchen making lemon merange pie once...

Yawning a little, the night was dragging on and using Milo as a alight pillow, the cold had not helped and she tired more easily than others, resting slightly and sipping a large glass of white wine before turning to Rajvi. She seemed so nervous, but somehow a person she would like to see again. Plus her programming background, it was still a very male industry, change was happening but nice to meet another taking steps in a new direction.

of course. People matter. And your a fellow nerd.

You alright? If... Milo a good egg. Saved my sister like a knight, kinda how we met. Well exactly... Outside shouting soaked... Not my best look.

Showing a rather slender and ghostly pale arm, several marks darker from old healed IV lines that never fully went away and the monitors. She was slightly taller than Victoria but maybe it was the alcohol confidence and rather rapid emotion range. Gesturing to walking stick too, she was hardly a person whom was physicaly scary.

I'm sorry if I scared you.. See just me Victoria. I have had... Well I know what fear is like.

Nerves and trying to reassure nerves making her nervous her self she returned the wave from her sister nearby, attracting a rather different bunch including a woman, no wait man? No wait which? who could nearly never twice her height maybe, a rather attractive red head and Ren, her unofficial date it seemed.

Looking slightly unsure at Milo, she was not quite how sure to react but did not want to scare him or her off at same time. Appearing normal but eyes giving away her true emotions before he felt a small hand squeezing his trying to make sure he not run off either.

How would things go. Well that she could not predict. This city had moved so fast and the changes that happened, them, events. Everything was new and moving faster than she thought possible. It felt right, Sol, Milo, guessing, feelings and instincts where all she had to guide her this time. Just had trust they where right.

Sasha

One or perhaps two hours passed and Sasha felt himself overtaken by a seemingly impenetrable feeling of claustrophobia as he was swept up in the mass of people making their way into City Hall, the euphoria initially brought on by his cocaine binge almost entirely exhausted. Though he was on a certain level amused by all the thin-skinned morons making their way inside; it was not even that cold. He attempted to mentally hearken back to his actions prior to this moment, but it was just a blur of utter banality. Ugh. The petite Russian internally chided himself for the company he undoubtedly shared during the unaccounted time as to put it mildly his drug addled self was truly a glutton for social interaction. Things could have honestly been worse as he could have woken up with some piece of gutter trash. Before any further self-reflection Sasha realized he could really use an alcoholic beverage on the rocks right about now preferably one in a decent glass with whiskey rocks instead of ice, but in situations like these one should not have too high expectations lest they wish to be underwhelmed. Circumventing his way around a few clusters of meandering simpletons Sasha eventually found the bar and ordered a bottle of Balvenie 21 Port Wood for himself. While not often falling into the whiskey praising crowd, his fond enjoyment of the memorable aftertaste of this particular Scottish blend was no secret. Once the whiskey was prepared to his satisfaction, Sasha took a whiff of the liquid before taking a small sip; rolling the potent liquid around in his mouth, he picked up on the plethora of earthy flavors and needless to say they were simply divine. Sasha eyes scanned the slowly dispersing crowd his eyes darting from social group to social group. For a brief, second his heart fluttered, as he believed he locked eyes with the mysterious stranger he had been crushing on. But, that probably was a statistical impossibility as it was probably just some residual hallucinations from the cocaine. He made a mental note to confront his personal drug pusher on the issue as he suspected that the suppliers were cutting the product with some inferior junk again. Ridiculous. It was hard to find an honest supplier of illegal narcotics nowadays.

He pulled out his Ulysse Nardin crafted cellular device and leisurely perused his various social media outlets. Sasha quickly shot a text message to his two cohorts and was embarrassed that he failed to do so earlier. It was time to regroup.

Khorshid, and Lupe

Lupe felt overtaken by the plethora of different emotions washing over him as he reflected on the many different situations that the pair had been through. It was no joke that without Paige he would have expired well before his time; it was almost like she was a moderating presence in his life and once she left he became involved progressively worse fiascoes that he was unequipped to handle. The Cuban American felt he could have handled things like his father’s failed Presidential campaign, Cabo San Lucas, and the Bob incident better had she been around. However, though he could not articulate why he strangely held no resentment towards her for these personal failings and was ultimately glad Paige was excelling at her chosen carrier.

“Damn, working right now Batgirl. Ha, only you would be working during a party. Hell yes, Gulfstream are awesome. They make first class on other airlines look like a joke and not the funny kind either.” He let out a chuckle as she addressed the older man.

“The folks are alright, I guess. You know how the Judg…Senator is. Always riding my ass about something. We totally should catch up though, it has really been too long. Haven’t played a good game of golf in a while, it is almost like some goofballs up here don’t get the game. As usual It would be tight if you could help me out again as my lawyer...um well...hasn’t been doing so good easing things over with the prosecutor’s office.”

Lupe bids his Farwell to Paige as she cavalcaded off to dangle crooks off of buildings, save cats from trees, or whatever other badass stuff she did for a living. Despite his large size even he was starting to feel cold and he impatiently waited for Khorshid to finish his call. However, by the look on the Indian’s face the call was not going so well; Lupe was not the sharpest crayon in the box, but even he knew that the outlaw bikers probably had no intention of being part of his cohort’s crazy scheme especially since Khorshid was dumb enough to give them their money upfront.

Ren White

City Hall

The sound of music and chatter was getting louder by the hour. The group Ren had somehow ended up becoming a part of had moved inside the warmth of City Hall. He had gotten his wish for alcohol fulfilled, and was feeling pretty nice and fuzzy now - the voices in his head muffled. Marinalia @PrinceAlexus seemed to take a liking to him, throwing both hugs and kisses his way. Ren didn't know how to respond at first. He hoped she didn't get the wrong idea about the two of them being anything other than friends. Friends, huh. Somehow I made a... Friend, I think? The recite with her phone number still tucked inside his pocket made him smile a little.

An urge to move hit him, and Ren stood up. "Hey listen, don't you think we should dance a bit? We should, right? It's a party after all, it would practically be rude not to. Right?" Grabbing Siobhan @Almalthia and Ashton @Silver Fox by the hands, Ren led the way to the dance floor. Pushing and shuffling through the crowd, Ren's eyes landed on a grand piano in a corner, probably placed there for decorative reasons only. How long had it been since he had played last? As a child he was taught regularily, and he'd continue to practise by himself until the time he moved away from home. He steared the trio in direction of the piano instead. The piano bench was wide enough for three people to fit, and Ren sat down in the middle. Stroking his fingers along the smooth keys, a smile spread on his lips. He started to play a christmas tune, careful and slow at first, tentatively placing his fingers in the right places. Eventually his hands remembered where he should put them, and he quickened the pace of the song, humming softly along. He would never have imagined, even in his wildest dreams, that he'd be playing the piano in front of so many people. He'd always despised being forced to learn it by his father, who claiemd that a true gentleman needed to learn the art of music. But somehow, in the middle of being in a new town surrounded by strangers it felt oddly familiar and calming to just say fuck it and let the music sway him away. Not that the piano was likely to be heard over the music played over the speakers by many, except the people in the nearest area perhaps. "Any song requests? I know quite a lote by heart to tell the truth. It's amazing what you have time to learn when you don't socialize on a general basis." He chuckled at his poor attempt at a joke as he kept on playing.

Marinalia (Romus) Olympus

City Hall . Public Party . Firday evening

Marinalia watched as Ren and the group headed away, did he take her go soon as litiraly then and seemed to be alot more social after you got some alcohol in his system. And she had to go to bed, the flight in morning required her to be awake, and she much rather perfered to not crash.

Getting up and pulling her coat back on, waving over to Ren and the two women, blimey he was a strange guy. Would of been more fun heading home with someone though. Putting the thoughts aside she began to head out.

see you later DR White, i guess... Good night.

Night folks... See ya...

Heading out felt strange as some peoples evenings where only warming up, getting giving her sister a wave and long having said goodnight to her father who had some hotel in the city centre. Deciding to exit on a high she gave her skirt and coat a slightly flirty flick and vanishing. Freinds it seemed but did not mean she could not at least show some spirit even if a a little annoyed at heading home alone. Had she become that boring? Old?

Grabbing a taxi she finaly found one after a few minutes waiting in the now gathering snow, it was a easy trip back to old harbour and her and Victoria's apartment.

Old Harbour . Romus, Olympus Apartment . Firday evening

Heading back into the cooler apartment, damn cold. The heating was on though this cold spell was ernough be annoying though, texting Victoria she got home safely and managed to grab a cup of tea watching the boats iced up on the old harbour boat docks, ice already covering much of the water.

The apartment was well furnished, a large TV in corner and old radiators warmed this thick exposed brick walls of a large room with cast iron pillar, sofas and a kitchen and island. Tall windows looked out on the old harbour from the main room lit by moonlight. Bed rooms off to the side, thixk rugs and double bed room with ensure. A second similar bed room minus ensuite Victoria used and a main bathroom.

damn... When did I give up so easily... And when did I come home from a party all dressed up alone and drink tea... I'm 27 not 57. sighing at own thoughts and finishing up. The washing up could wait. Throwing her clothes in a corner and removing make up, least the bed was warm and soft.

Sleeping softly, the alarm was set for morning and her flight jacket, boots and clothes lay on the chair. Sleeping as the snow fell gently outside the apartment over the city, people danced in city hall and partied into the night. A young blonde woman wishing she was able to join them slept in old harbour.

Saturday Evening

Sebi calmly sits in a cafe shop sipping a cup of tea after finishing his quick shopping trip. He looked down at the 4 to 6 big and small bags of clothes and trinkets before he left a $4.25 tip and gathered his bags and walked the few blocks back. Has he was walking he couldn't help but to stop and look up at the snowing sky and think of the first day he had seen this beautiful part of nature. He softly cracked a smile as he continued on his work home.

Once home he set down all of his bags and sat down on the floor with his legs by his side has he looked at a flyer he got for a party at the city hall. He looked at his bags of clothes then looked at his small suitcase that held all of his make-up supplies. He had bought multiple new dresses, tights, leggings, flowy shirts, and a few long sleeves, but he planned to make those into dresses or one-piece outfits. he pulled them close and laid then out so he could pick out which outift would fit best since it's starting to snow and it is most likely gonna get warm inside the building.

Sebi ended up picking out a muted dark green shirt, a scarf to double as an accent piece when tied around his waist, jeggings, and dark brown mid-calf height boots. After he slipt on the clothes he started on his make-up which didn't take long since he was simple and muted with small snowflake glitter placement at the outer corners of his eyes. Once completely finished, he stretched stiffly and grabbed his phone, keys, and wallet and ended down to the city following a map on his phone. He slept out of his house and locked the door then he climbed down the stair grabbing his fuffy black coat and out the door to head to city hall.

Sebi looked up at the city his hands in his coat pockets he could hear people laughing and signing along, while doing so someone with long blonde hair brush past and get into a taxi. he couldn't help but to stop and watch as the taxi drove away before walking up to the entrance of the party making his way through crowds and weaving through has he tried to get to a place that was calmer so he could people watch. He ended up finding himself with a drink in hand that he doesn't remember getting and by a decoration that looked quite odd. It had three leaves and three red berries, at least that's what he thought it was. He calmly stared at it for a bit before turning his focus back to people trying to take in the sight.

He softly cracked a smile as he watched a group of people he could only assume to be walk off to the crowd laughing and chittering. Everyone was a soft blur of colour and silhouettes with hard black outlines. He pulled out his phone to check the time, it had been 15 minutes from the time he saw the blonde headed girl.

Current Location: Central Point, Friday Evening - Interacting With: Victor & Joseph - Mentioned: No One

Joseph had coaxed a blush out of the almost frail girl. To consider Victor her boyfriend? If anything, it was surely indencent, unnatural, and most of all, Olivia hardly considered herself being able to be that lucky! It also didn't help that Victor was her brother (or so she was told from their earlier conversation), but before Olivia could remedy the situation, Victor spoke up and explained everything.

"It's true, Joseph. He's not my boyfriend, but rather my brother. I didn't know I had a brother until earlier today. Seems Sol City is full of surprises, isn't it?" Olivia responded, somewhat indirectly referring to Joseph's odd attire. Her glances towards the duct tape and cardboard suits weren't one of digust, but rather Olivia looked on in surprise. How exactly was Joseph moving around in all that duct tape? Shouldn't he struggling to move between all those binds and rolls of tape?

Still, before Olivia could ask about his odd suit, Victor spoke up about heading inside. Turning her head towards the door, Olivia noticed a number of people walking inside.
"Sure, Victor." Olivia responded, turning her gaze back to Joseph. "You're more than welcome to accompany us, Joseph, but if you have somewhere else to be, I won't mind." Olivia went on to explain before allowing Victor to lead the way inside city hall, where they might run into their grandmother or some other people Olivia knew.

However, once inside, things began to take a turn for the worst. As they walked, Olivia found it considerably harder to stay upright, as if her legs decided to do their own thing.
Not now... not now, please... Olivia thought to herself, looking upwards to Victor.

"Hey, Victor. C-can we sit down for a moment? I think... I think I need a mom-"

Then, it happened like a snap of the fingers. Olivia struggled in a vain attempt to focus, before her body went one way: down to the floor. She had no way of controlling herself, but thankfully, the heavy coat cushioned her fall, with whatever was on Olivia's person clattering the floor. Olivia had hoped for a peaceful evening, but nothing is ever peaceful when you're stuck with a terminal illness.

Current Location: Central Point, Friday Evening - Interacting With: Victor, Olivia, Ren, Siobhan & Ashton - Mentioned: Marinalia

If anything, Emily stood out like a sore thumb within the crowds of fancily dressed Sol City denizens. Despite this, Emily knew she looked damned fine as a hero of justice.

That was, if there was an actual incident for a hero of justice to get involved. Emily saw someone beating up a bush earlier, yet before she could step up someone else had taken care of it. Outside of helping lost elderly women and returning dropped items, it had seemed the police and security for the event had nearly everything covered. And so, Emily wandered the event in her attire clearly unsuitable for winter (or a ball for that matter), looking for something to help with or someone she could aid in their moment of need.

"Hey, Victor. C-can we sit down for a moment? I think... I think I need a mom-"

Upon hearing someone nearby ask to sit down, Emily was ready to direct them somewhere, but that wasn't what made her head twirl almost like one of those supposedly scary women in B-rated horror movies. Despite the massive fluff the girl was, the clattering she made as she hit the floor was just as obvious as she had passed out. Emily wasn't a doctor by any means, but she knew this was her time to spring into action.

"I-I'll find a doctor, a nurse... uh, someone!" Emily exclaimed, giving the man that had been accompanying the girl a short glance before disappearing into the sea of people. Running to a nearby person, Emily asked if they were a doctor, to which they said no. Then, the next: no. This continued on and on, leaving several people befuddled, until Emily noticed someone leaving a white-haired man and a fiery-haired woman.

"Are you a doctor? Is she a doctor?" Emily asked, referring to the person walking away and soon disappearing into the crowd. Meanwhile, Emily thought to herself why she didn't just go to one of those medical stations the Mayor most likely set up around the place, and began to imagine herself face palming as to why she didn't think of that first.

Siobhan

Siobhan smiled at Marlin and wished her well and as she thought about what that might mean since she was left pretty much alone with these two gentlemen, Ashton and Ren. Blushing at the thought she was staring off into space as Ren grabbed her hand and lead her and Ashton off the couch. He said something about dancing and she grinned at him defiantly alright with the suggestion. But it seemed not to be in the plan as Ren lead them over to a grand piano and asked for requests. His humming was faintly familiar and she picked out the song smoothly she transitioned to "Baby Its Cold Outside" and played the top melody assuming that he'd get the idea and maybe sing with her as she started a long intro and then started singing. Her voice was a sultry, jazzy, contralto and carried further than she realized.

She really shouldn't have started that song. It was one that she and her "Prince" did and they had little side comments that no one would be able to follow. It was her favorite Christmas carol but she couldn't help it something about tonight struck a chord in her. Seeing him tickle the ivories sent her back years to society parties and spending them at a piano or in a library, art gallery or a secluded corner with her "Prince". Talking about what they wanted to do with their life rather than what their parents wanted them to do. He had given her the courage to be upfront with her parents and tell them she wanted to study art and to paint.

This whole thing of not being able to remember his real name was starting to piss her off but she'd ask her parents later once she met up with them.

Friday Night >>> Central Point

“Cuban?” what an odd description, this man didn’t seem like the racist type but one could never really tell sometimes. Victor smiled at Joseph when Olivia offered for him to join them, “You should come with us, tell us what inspired that unique suit of yours.” He wasn’t trying to be mean even if it might have come off that way. He was never all that good at social interactions some times.

The man didn’t realize it, not at first anyway. Olivia seemed distant trailing off with her ever softening words, until finally she fell. He wasn’t fast enough to catch her, even though he tried. He was looking forward making sure their path was still clear when she mentioned sitting down and by the time he looked down at her she was already falling. The tall man didn’t hesitate his instincts kicked in, and he was at her side checking her pulse, and monitoring her breathing. Victor didn’t have any idea what could bring on this issue, she didn’t drink anything before this, but he didn’t see her eat that much either. The medical possibilities raced through his head as he stared at the unconscious girl.

A rather young and spunky looking girl said she would try to find help and left without him getting a word in, some other bystanders had stopped to look or watch even offer assistance. Victor simply told them to give them some room while he dialed the emergency line on his cell phone, “This is dispatch what’s your emergency” a monotone female voice came over the phone while he continued to monitor the girl, “I need paramedics to the north-eastern entrance to the Central point ball area for a Female, early twenties, that passed out and fell.” He relayed the information to the girl on the other end of the phone, he could hear her typing in information on a keyboard.

“The female did not hit her head, she is unresponsive with a slow heart rate and slow and deep breaths. No seizure and no alcohol or drug consumption” The dispatcher continued to type before speaking again, “can I get your name sir?” Victor continued to watch over Olivia while he spoke again, “my name is Victor Henson.” The dispatcher chimed in one more time, “Alright sir, Paramedics are on their way and should be there shortly.” A sigh escaped the man, “Thank you, I’ll call you back if her condition changes” he hung up his phone and continued to watch her.
