Hey, I'm interested in joining. I read the intro post in the OC, and I'm wondering if there's any possible way to get someone who, quite honestly, is neither rich nor intelligent, at least in an academic sense? I know its probably unlikely, but if there's a way, it'd be pretty cool to make a student who just does not belong in such a fancy place.

@Rabidporcupine the school isnt just for the rich, but that makes up the majority. You can also have a character get there by intelligence or by pure dumb luck. Fabricant has a character named Roz that comes from nothing but still has found her way into the school.

I'm also making a guy who comes from nothing.

Three people that came from nothing? They should obviously hang and judge everyone

@Rabidporcupine You don't need to be Richie rich to technically live in Beverly Hills. You could be a relative who is living with the rich aunts/uncles and/or grandma/grandpas. And about the being super smart part, my character Kai isn't a brainiac. He just wants to be able to surf and stay away from the drama. you can totally make a character like that who doesn't have any big aspirations to be a CEO or anything like that. Just an average joe who just happens to attend the same school as his or her future bosses.

Oh, cool. Also, my phone is all janky and old so I can't see everyone's pictures to confirm it, but did you only want pictures of real people for the characters? Because I think that's what it said in the rules, but I may have misinterpreted it because I'm dumb.

@Rabidporcupine yeah, like find a celebrity or someone to base your character's looks on that gives us a visual of said person

one person is using a generic picture, which is also ok. just gotta write a little bit more with the appearance section.

we're pretty chill staff, just keep it real for consistency.

@Rabidporcupine you might want to try tumblr face claim directories. They're pretty ace for newcomers. Or hell, some RP tumblr blogs are really helpful. Eternal roleplay is my go-to.
