It started in an ordinary Rhean school, one that was not as important or remarkable as St. Laurel's. Alexander met a beautiful woman named Eleanor, one that attracted him more than anyone else (of both genders; Alex is bisexual). Problem was, Eleanor was on parole from Juvenile Detention for misusing her powers to steal and mug people for drugs. She claimed to be completely reformed, but she faced bullying for her actions from people anyway. Alexander did the chivalrous thing to do and stood by her; Eleanor never forgot that and thus chose not to relapse into drug addiction.
As for Alex, he eventually went to university, studied Criminology, entered law Enforcement as a Juvenile Crimes Investigator (with a goal of being a Parole Officer)...and Married Eleanor right after. And right now, he is really happy.
Core Power - God-Binding Grimorie of Imprisonment: A special book blessed by as many gods as possible, this book is feared by all superpowered lawbreakers for a reason: If a person signs their name or personal mark in it, whether willingly or by force, they lose their powers unless the holder of the God-Binding Grimorie of Imprisonment allows them to use said powers. This restriction works on all beings with a Soul, thus Anti-Magic doesn't work against it (although powers that affect the Soul can). However, if the name or personal mark is erased or cut out of the book (this can be done by either Alex or another person), then the 'lawbreaker' regains full control over their abilities. A truly nightmarish technique.
Reasoning for Recent Edit: I gave more thought to Alexander's powers, and I realize that I've been subconsciously basing them on Faustian/Soul Contracts, which in turn require a Soul to make a contract with. So the Grimorie now works by linking one's Soul to Alexander's, which allows him to activate and deactivate said soul's powers (or in the case of mutations, powers held by the body the soul is in) at will. Problem is, powers that affect the soul or contracts in general can be used to modify, undo, or even reverse the Grimorie's effects...
First Power - Area Interrogation Method: Alex can go to the highest part or lowest depth of a building, and conjure up the Spirit of the structure to answer any questions the man has about what went on in any part of the area, including the grounds included as part of the legal property. Of course, the drawback to this is that it'd be risky for him to go to the top or bottom basement of say, Mephisto's School/St. Lucifer's without a warrant.
Second and Third Power - Advanced Armory of Rhea: Alex has access to some of the best weapons - pure tech and magitech - that Rhean Law Enforcement can provide against superpowered miscreants. Examples of said weapons are:
- Magic-Resistant Body Armor that can resist 250 degrees Celcius' worth of heat, and -250 degrees Celcius' worth of cold.
- Sticky Foam that on contact, sucks out magical energy from the body; this also serves as normal Sticky Foam, so Anti-Magic only lessens its effectiveness.
- A 'sound gun' that prevents people it fires at from concentrating.
- Goggles that prevent mind control or memory alteration from affecting Alexander.
Alto Ganze - A fine and upstanding young man...right?
Clara Deimos Edrigan - If she's not careful, her name will end up in my own Grimorie...
King - I'd let him off for minor offences; he seems to be a fine citizen otherwise.
William Ascot - Little Bro, what did you just do?!
Vernon Gire Jester - Hello, it's your jealous brother-in-law!
