Maria Falena / Lily Falena

When Lily and the other went back seeing the old woman laying face down in a pool of blood, She had to let out a tired sigh feeling excused form chasing nothing and getting no where. "This is going no where, We should leave before we get into further trouble" Lily said her hand on the hilt of her sword in case they get into a fight.

Maria meanwhile was glaring at Lily and then speaking up hoping to figure out what was going on, "Well we are with the Guild, And we had a quest to investigate and try to reunite this woman with her husband...but it seems he has long passed and now...this happened" She said looking quite sad that they seemed stuck. However she knew their was something more paranormal going on, And she wanted to get the bottom of it. "Do you see anyone strange or seen how this happened?" She asked one of the guards.

Yang Bethlehem

Yang sighed as she headed back to the old church, the day slowly passed into night and they finally arrived to their destination.

The bonfire was a surprised, and seeing four other figures there, she raised an eyebrow but nonetheless approached them to get to the bottom of things.

That's when she caught something at the corner and looked at it, the old woman laid down on the ground but what got her attention was the immense blood that pooled around her.

Yang froze in her track, and it was like the world stilled for a moment. The heat of the bonfire was gone was the chill in the air felt like a biting frozen wind, she could do nothing but stare at the sight for a while.

"Small moth, be quiet." Yang said to Lily coldly, not even caring about proper ethics as she walked past the guards and knelt over the old lady. Her heart beat furiously, a stark contrast to just how cold she was right now.

Her hand laid on the old lady neck, confirming indeed that she was dead even if the apparent blood loss made it obvious.

She died.

"W-Was she like this when you arrived?" Yang inquired, not to anyone in particular but her eyes twitched fiercely. Every part of her restrained from just lashing out immediately, her focus was at its peak and the cold blood begun to boil within her.

Ditzy Stoneclub

"Haha, yup! But they probably didn't have anyone to play with. My tribe have a few male, so we got plenty of playmates." Ditzy answered honestly as he twirled the sandbag around, occasionally causing him to be carried by its momentum and he followed suit. Leading to a few times of him tumbling to the ground and he got up. "But they're nice, can I play with them next time?"

He asked Neil innocently, since he was the elder one.

Neil probably doesn't want to play, ah well, I'll play with them. Maybe they'll play sandbag with him too!

That was when Ditzy heard the roar, and winced at that as he followed Neil who had moved quickly. It took some effort keeping up but soon, he reached his destination and looked at the guild house for the source.

Oh, that's a tall lady. Ditzy watched in awe as he looked at the large lady with a reptilian tail, he thought it was one of those lizardwomen.

That's when he looked at the house and saw other presences, he lit up with a smile as he excitedly pointed to the roof.

"Look! Look! Is there a party going!?" Ditzy directed their attention to the new figures, more so after the fire breathing display as that got him more worked up. "That's so fun! Come on, let's go and join the fun!"

Bast Ragoczy

A good drink was everything Bast needed to forget that disappointing and unfortunate meeting. As they sat down, Bast silently started to sip on the cup of wiskey as Bartholomew talked to him. His frightened expression when Bast said whom he had visited already told Bast enough about what he thought about them. After Bart told him how Varjo was once Razella and how the city actually was, Bast became even more disappointed. How could the Caldeyron destroy such place and transform it in just a den for them to raise their war dogs? Regarding Joshua and Leyanne personally though, Bast expected so much more... A reason, a goal to be achieved, ambition... But they were simply savages. Cunning, yes. He would give them that. Just as Bart said, even though they are bloodthirsty savages, they are cunning. Creating a place like Varjo and making it a name that others fear just to mention is not something your average village idiot can do... Bast wouldn't make the mistake of underestimating them, after all, they were still dangerous enemies.

When Bart asked him if he mentioned the guild to them though, Bast couldn't help but to smile at the man. Of course he hadn't mentioned the guild. He wasn't the type of man that would leave any type of trail behind for anyone to follow. Bast liked to take care of his problems and business himself. But before he could put all that in words, a mighty roar coming from outside interrupted them. Something was obviously happening.

Just as Bast and Bart got to the main hall, together with the rest of the members that were inside, they were greeted by intruders. Bast wondered if they what did they wanted by invading such a place. The guild wasn't exactly incredibly wealthy... Sure, they had some money, but if they wanted to profit, there were much better places to go. But before Bast could think more about it, the intruders pointed to Bart, pointing their muskets to him, answering Bast's question. They were there for Bart. Luckily, Bart was faster than him, tackling him to the ground just as the muskets opened fire on them.

Just after the muskets fired, Bast quickly kicked the table's feet, making it drop in front of them, making a makeshift cover to at least break the musketeers' aim on them.

"I owe you one, my good friend. Oh, and regarding Leyanne and Joshua... That was my business. I said nothing about you guys or the guild. Don't worry." Bast said, reaching for his top hat that fell from his head just near him, putting it on again.

"Muskets... It will be troublesome to deal with them..." Bast said, just as one of the intruder's expressed his dissatisfaction for having missed their target. The troublesome part was that they had both ranged and melee enemies. Getting close was very dangerous right now..." Bast said, looking around. It would be troublesome to deal with their formation as they were right now. Luckily though, the second Bast looked up, he saw Freyr just as he arrived with his bow in hands, aiming down from upstairs. Apparently he already had one of the intruders with muskets under his aim.

"Luckily, it seems our backup is arriving." Bast said, referring to Freyr who was already taking aim as he made a card appear between his fingers. The card was glowing with a white light as he threw them towards the intruders. The second it got nearby them, it would make a blinding flash of light to distract them at least a bit.

@PaulHaynek@The Irish Tree

Freyr

"It will be of a huge help... I don't think it'll be a safe trip... I could use some steel arrowheads to pierce light armor... If it isn't asking too much, of course." Freyr replied to Talia, as she offered to forge some weapons for them. Even though Freyr used a bow a lot and his knife was more of a backup weapon and a tool, he could still use some things forged, like special arrowheads that could pierce iron armor for example...

As Magnus started talking with Talia, Freyr couldn't help but to listen. A flying machine? Of what sorts? That was indeed quite interesting. Maybe he could ask to them if he could go see it as well...

After they arrived on the guild, Freyr went upstairs to his room to tend to his bow a bit. It was important to take care of his bow as he used it so much and because if it broke due to lack of maintenance, it would be very hard to repair due to it's size and construction. Especially due to the fact that it was made using wood from the Vieran forests... A few hours later though, he heard a deafening roar coming from outside. Without too much time to think about what it was happening, Freyr immediately went towards the balcony to see what it was happening. Much for his surprise, he was greeted by intruders.

Some were wielding daggers but the most dangerous ones were obviously the ones wielding those muskets. Freyr had already seen that type of weapon a few times when hunters tried to invade the Vieran forests and he knew how deadly they could be. When Bart shouted, Bast was reminded how terrifyingly lethal those weapons were. The sound was so loud that it made his ears hurt, almost making him lose his aim. Luckily, Bart and Bast were able to dodge their shots, but they were still in a poor position. From where Freyr was he could easily take down one or even both musketeers. They still didn't know he was there so at least one of them was as good as dead. As Freyr let go of the arrow, it whistled trough the air, going directly towards the musketeer's chest.

Magnus stopped in his tracks as he saw the bandits surrounding the girl, now certain that they were definitely not here looking to post a job or sign up. Gulping, Magnus had to face the reality that a woman was facing down seven men alone, and, began rushing to help her out. Of course, he stopped dead in his tracks as he saw the woman's spines begin lighting up with cold blue energy, frozen in anticipation before a massive beam of energy shot from her mouth. If it weren't so dark, one could see how much Magnus' eyes were shining, in awe of the woman's beam. "S-She shot a beam!? I didn't know dragons could shoot beams...I thought only Gazers could. SHE SHOT A GIANT BEAM THOUGH!" he thought to himself, unconsciously pumping his arms up and down as he watched, before remembering that he was supposed to be helping, and not cheering.

Lowering his stance a bit, Magnus charged forward head first...but nearly got hit by the beam, feeling a slight burn on the hair that cascaded down his back as he dove, basically belly flopping down onto one of the thieves, his massive body weight undoubtedly knocking him out cold from the sudden impact. Putting his hands over his head, Magnus just really hoped that the scary beam dragon lady wouldn't incinerate him for being there, unaware that his hair was kind of on fire near the lowest part, hanging at his mid back. He also wasn't aware that he had crushed one of the men with muskets, thankfully with the gun barrel not pointed directly at his heart or anything. Moving with Magnus atop them was impossible, unless they were freakishly strong...and that was even if they were conscious after having a nine foot minotaur slam them into the cold hard dirt.

Spotting that the other brigand was lining up a shot on Titanica, Magnus narrowed his eyes, and snapped his arm up, throwing a whole pheasant at the gun's barrel and forcing him to shoot his bullet aimlessly into the air. Crawling back a bit, Magnus made sure to keep low to stay away from the beam, saying: "P-Please don't incinerate me, Miss. I work here." as he did his best to return to a standing position without biting the dust from atomic death being shot everywhere.

Standing on the edge of the window, Nephele's ears perked up as the roar ended, and the thieves' leader began to speak of...a target? Were they here as assassins, or as kidnappers? Quickly however, the situation turned sour as brigands entered the guild hall, the sound of gunshots unfamiliar to her ears rang out, leading her to believe that some sort of explosive had been detonated. Her maw opened ever so slightly as she ran downstairs, beginning to fill the building with her thick fog as she reached downstairs, dashing past Bart and Bast to get at the would-be-assassins.

Her eyes shined ever so slightly in the small bubble of fog that began to condense around the entrance of the guild, entrapping the assailants in her illusion. Seeing that Freyr had saw fit to take out the one with a stranger weapon than the others, her claws soon sank into the heart of the other musketeer, piercing through his chest and heart, leaving him to slump on the ground. A nearby brigand brandishing his dagger lunged at her, just before she slipped away into the fog, and as a result managed to land a stab onto her left arm just above where her thick black scales might have protected her. Wincing in pain and gritting her teeth, she pulled away and ran out of the fog, clutching her arm and watching the fog. "Sorry...I got careless...but that fog should keep them confused for a moment." she said, squeezing a hand over her wound to try and staunch the bleeding. "Bart, you need to find someplace safe." she said, fog coming out of her mouth as she panted. She wasn't quite used to being stabbed.

Eilidh wasn't out of breath at all, but her face had just as much red in it after Neil's question. "Mo! Absolutely not!...Most of the time. Centaurs can keep themselves under control, barring three circumstances. One, when we're on a post-battle adrenaline rush. Two, when we're drunk. And three, when we're ridden by a man. Most of the civilized monster races are either in control until provoked, or have tricks to keep themselves under control."

When Eilidh heard the roar in the distance, her ears pricked up and she drew her sword. That wasn't too far from the guildhouse! Eilidh ran with the others, not wanting to leave them behind in case there were enemies nearby. She reached the scene, and saw a massive scaled monster girl fighting a group of brigands. The girl wasn't a dragon. Eilidh knew a dragon when she saw one, and this was something else; something she'd never seen before. She had heard terrifying stories of creatures who resided in the island of Zipangu that fit this description, however, and that made her hope she was on their side.

Eilidh raised her sword, let out her war cry, and charged towards the bandits.

@PaulHaynek@Restalaan@Lmpkio

Rebecca eyed the body of the old woman. Well, that put paid to the idea that she was a ghost. Even so, this just raised more questions. That's when she spotted the Order guards. And worse; she recognized one of them. They'd definitely recognize her. She pushed the scarves higher up on her face, and hung back. Hopefully, none of the guards would look too closely. This did give her some time to think, however. Why had a living old woman wished to marry a dead man in a derelict church with no ceremony? Did she not know he was dead? And why had she been killed? Was it an assailant, or was it that the guards were not investigating, but in fact had been the ones to kill the woman in the first place? Rebecca doubted that, unless Varjan mindsets has taken hold of her home too, but she couldn't rule it out. If not, why had she been killed? Was the idea to have the ceremony in an abandoned and ignored ruin with no ceremony because she knew she was in danger and wished not to attract attention?

Let No Man Put Asunder
~@Restalaan (YNG), @Eviledd1984 (LIL & MAR), @Silver Carrot (REB)~

"W-Was she like this when you arrived?"
Yang Bethlehem

"Oh, no. The old woman ran up to us, accusing me of stealing her beloved and calling me 'Helen'. That's not even my name!" The knight bluntly answered. "The age must've gotten to her head. Or maybe she's got that 'mind sickness' some mages and scholars are talking about nowadays." She sighed. "Anyway, we had to put her down. She was raving and crazy and wasn't backing down no matter how much we told her off."

"Bottom line, we had to put her out of her misery. One clean sword thrust on her chest." The knight summarized with a nonchalant tone. "Do you know her by the way? Seems like you know her."

Then one of the other knights walked up to the female knight and whispered something. "Yeah, yeah, I know two of 'em are monsters and one of them's a known criminal but this has been a rough and long day. I'd rather take it easy for now and not get into any more trouble." She told her subordinate.

The old woman's story has come to an end but will the guild members be alright with leaving it at that?

~@Lmpkio, @The Irish Tree (MAG), @Restalaan (DIT), @Silver Carrot (ELD)~

The leader rolled out of the way out of Titanica's breath, having anticipated it. Instead, Titanica's beam blew open the front doors of the guild which should probably be addressed once all of this was over.

Titanica and Magnus was joined by Ditzy and Eilidh in fighting the attackers. Being monsters and not outnumbered, the guild members overcame anything the knife-wielding attackers threw at them. However, the attacker leader was more competent, able to hold off Eilidh and Magnus and even dance around Titanica though he never came close to actually beating any of them.

"They have two Dragons! Two Dragons! We've got to get out of here!"

That yell from the attackers that went inside the guild was the last straw for the intruders. Realizing that they were fighting dangerous monsters and the prospect that there were more inside, the bruised and bloodied attackers quickly took off with some even dropping their weapons.

"Dammit! Don't run!" The leader tried to rally his men to no avail.

A musketeer took aim at Eilidh for one last, spiteful attack but a certain Siren landed on him before he could shoot. "You owe me, Centaur." Haley smirked at Eilidh but the smirk was wiped off when she was grabbed by the intruder leader who then put himself behind her.

Placing a pistol at her head, the intruder leader screamed. "Get back! Get back, you monsters! Or this Harpy gets it!"

Now the Guild had a hostage situation on their hands. They must be careful about this lest they lose a member.

~@13org (BST & FYR), @The Irish Tree (NEP)~

"I can't see anything!"

The attackers were all lost within Nephele's fog and were therefore unable to continue whatever malicious objective they have in the guild. However, the front doors suddenly exploded in a burst of blue flame which blew the attackers down from the shockwave and made everyone cover from the dust and smoke for a brief while as well as dissipating some of Nephele's fog.

"Bast! Nephele! Are you alright?!" Bart coughed from the smoke. "What just ha--" The guild master suddenly paused when he saw that he was in the sights of the remaining musketeer, his companions still incapacitated on the floor. Neither Bast nor Nephele were fast enough to close the distance and stop the inevitable shot.

"Watch out!" Talia yelled. The shot was made but instead of hitting Bart, it hit Talia instead on her shoulder, having rushed to take the bullet meant for Bart. The Cyclops recoiled, a hand immediately clutching her shoulder, but still remained standing in defiance.

"They've got two Dragons! Let's get the hell out of here!"

The remaining attackers recovered and they, along with the musketeer, hastily left via the newly-created hole in front of the guild headquarters. Just like that, the intruders were repulsed just by the presence of two mighty monsters. Unfortunately, not without doing a bit of damage first.

"Ah, gods..." Talia sank to her knees as she clutched her bleeding shoulder, teeth gritted. "Gods damn it..."

The blue atomic beam rips through the thick air towards the goblin leader, however the opponent was quick and was able to side-step out of the way, leaving the beam to burst through the front doors of the building instead. The owners of this building are not going to be pleased at such careless destruction, but Titanica has no time to address and apologize for collateral damage. Her head quickly turns to continue firing upon the other fleeing thieves, as she issues a full 180 spin. The beam would still burn through the ground and hit a few trees before eventually stopping. It's then when she realized that there were definitely other figures coming from the trees, with one of them putting his head down as part of his hair was on fire. Luckily for them, the reptilian humanoid didn't register them as threats, even though she almost incinerated one of them.

Before Titanica attempted to get back into the action, the giant man hurled a dead pheasant at her direction. At first, she considered it as an act of aggression, eying him menacingly before realizing that it was meant for the musketeer that was getting ready to shoot her from the back. A mere musket shot would've done little damage to her thick hide, especially regarding the scaly parts of her clothing, but alas it was a good sign that the giant man and the others were not part of this little charade. The kaiju figure grunts contentedly as she turns to face the thieves once more, with most already being thrown into disarray after witnessing her mighty atomic breath. Good. They knew their place amongst monster society. Wretches like them are at the very bottom of this world, undesirables that are far from redemption. They will face justice one way or another, even in the form of a massive figure like Titanica herself.

Suddenly, she can hear the leader shout something into the air. When Titanica looked up from the fleeing goblins, she can see the leader grabbing an innocent harpy as a hostage, placing the barrel of a pistol towards her head. He had quite the nerve to pull off such a dastardly trick up his sleeves, but this was done out of the worse imaginable cause of reason. He's scared. And within his cowardliness on the loosing end of the battle, he wants to tip the odds by being willing to take someone with him. Yet the question is... will he really do it? Titanica is already a couple meters away from him, as she issues a chilling glare straight down into his eyes of utter terror, her venomous yellow eyes gleaming with immense abhorrence towards him and his kind. Another grown echoes through her throat as she attempts to stare the figure down, perhaps as a method for him to think over what exactly he's doing and if he should commence with it.

But then, Titanica's eyes wonder and begins to turn her back on the thief, almost as if she's willing to leave the area and that she gave up. Perhaps a sense of relief and power could wash over him, thinking that he might have the high ground in this scenario. But that moment would be brief, as Titanica's massive tail swirls upwards and in one extremely fast notion it clashes down towards him, with the tip attempting to strike his wrist and disarm him of his weapon. If it succeeds, the kaiju girl would suddenly lunge at him with a bellowing roar, attempting to grab him by the throat.

May the gods help this poor little man.

Maria Falena / Lily Falena

Lilly looked perturbed when she was called "Young Moth" by the human, Glaring at her wanting to say something but didn't. Turning to face the group of knights, "And you didn't try to clam her down or speak with her on what she was looking for" She said feeling annoyed by knights. "Ecce non curo pro senes, non haec miserae homines Quid putas, cara soror?" She said in her native language to her sister with a smile on her face, She didn't think much of human's before. And this was another situation was another case of human's killing each other for no reason.

"Well you got us into that mess with the soldiers you shouldn't talk" She said to Yang smirking smugly, "Their is no point in being here and you three should know that, The old hag is dead and her "beloved" is also dead. We don't have any more business here, Unless we get paid which is unlikely" She said softly.

---------------------

Maria meanwhile was glaring at Lily feeling like her behavior was unacceptable, "Ut non dicam tibi, quod habere plures homines misericordia quam ad vos nunc hæc." Maria responded back to Lily looking quite angry at her. Then turning to the knight and the other girls, "Perhaps..we should try and figure out this..whole mystery with the old woman and her...ghost husband" Maria suggested to the others. Although she felt tired from all of this running around and with no clues for them.

"Perhaps we can find some clues..." She asked the group wondering if they could figure out what the hell is going on.

Bast Ragoczy

The fog Nephele made came in an opportune timing. Being under the aim of a musketeer wasn't very comforting. Fortunately enough, neither Bast himself nor Bart were hit by a stray shot. But before Bast or Bart could do anything else, the front doors suddenly exploded with blue flames. Part of Nephele's fog was dissipated as the shockwave threw the attackers on the ground. Bart was the first to get up, immediately asking if they were ok. Bast was still getting up when he saw the last remaining musketeer, aiming directly at Bart. Neither Bast nor Nephele could possibly be fast enough to help him. Before Bast could think, he heard the noise coming from the musket as the bullet flew through the air, hitting Talia as she threw herself to get the bullet instead of Bart.

"Gods damn it..." Talia said, falling to her knees due to the pain a moment after the rest of the intruders fled, screaming that they had two dragons.

Since the intruders were fleeing, they now had time to tend to the wounded. At least from the people inside the guild, Nephele and Talia were wounded. Both wounds were grave, Talia had a bullet on her shoulder, that needed to be taken out and it's wound closed as soon as possible and Nephele was stabbed and was loosing a considerable amount of blood. Rebecca, Maria or Lily could easily deal with Nephele's wound by using healing magic, but for Talia, it was a bit different. They needed to take out the bullet before healing. Sadly, every single healing magic user was currently in a mission.

"You have a good guardian angel, Bartholomew." Bast said, kneeling nearby Talia, taking off his gloves before inspecting her shoulder. With experienced and precise movements, he carefully inspected the bullet wound, being as delicate as he possibly could when touching the wound itself to not cause too much pain and discomfort on Talia.

"The wound is deep and the bullet is still inside. Before healing we need to take out the bullet. I need a sharp dagger. A scalpel would be better, but I doubt we have one of those right now." Bast said, looking to Bart and others nearby.

"Sadly, every single one of those who can use healing magic are currently out on a mission, so the good and old medicine will have to do." Bast said, looking to Nephele, gesturing her to get closer.

"For Nephele's wound, cauterizing it is the easiest and fastest method with the current resources we have right now. Regarding Talia though... We need to take out the bullet first." Bast said.

@PaulHaynek@The Irish Tree

Freyr

A lot of things happened just a few seconds. Freyr successfully took out one of the musketeers and Nephele's fog was a much needed distraction. Although Freyr didn't have a clear shot on the intruders now that they were surrounded by Nephele's thick fog, they also didn't have a clear line of sight to shoot them.

But before Freyr could think about what to do, a big blast of blue flames exploded the front door, dissipating some of Nephele's fog and blowing the attackers away with the shockwave. Sadly, it didn't affect only the intruders. The loud noise and the shockwave hit Freyr's ears like sharp knives. A terrible wave of pain ran through Freyr's body like electricity, making him drop his bow and fall down on the ground contorting himself in pain with a loud thump. He wasn't expecting such loud noise. Since the musketeers were stunned and distracted by the fog, Freyr was using his enhanced hearing to know their position even when inside the fog.

Disoriented by the blast and the loud noise, Freyr couldn't possibly do anything to protect the others from the last musketeer downstairs.

Yang Bethlehem

Yang breathed in and out slowly, her eyes was bloodshot as she idly searched for a stone around and gripped it tightly. Pure focus, strength and martial poured forward and the stone was turned to dust in her fist as she stood back up.

"You could have at least tried to restrained her." Yang muttered, all thoughts of anger gone as she felt nothing but sorrow and regret in not being able to fulfill this woman last wish.

"She's just someone I met earlier today." She quietly answered, her mind unfocused as she placed a hand over the old lady head, closed her eyes and gave a solemn prayer for her in her local dialect words. A sutra of departure, rest and moving on. That's the least she can do so the old lady spirit doesn't roam the earth forever.

"While I did err in my ways, I certainly know when, where and what to speak properly, little moth." Yang finished as she stood up and remarked to Lili. " Our task has ended, but I'm not going to let the woman body be left alone and exposed."

"You all can go to our requester and collect the payment, I'll...bury her with who she wanted to be." Yang made preparation to transport the corpse for a funeral, she'll do it herself if she have to. Transporting the corpse will be a bit of a problem so she turned to the guards. "Is it possible for one of you to escort me or follow me to cemetery, north of Lymeria? I'm afraid it will create more misunderstanding should I bring the corpse by myself..."

Ditzy looked at the unfolding scene and smile at it, everyone seemed to be having fun as they played with one another.

He still stuck close to Neil side as he continued observing while twirling his bag, giggling from time to time as he found something funny or amusing.

Then when one of the human grabbed the harpy and pulled her close, he shouted words that he recognized that bandits often used.

Ditzy lose his smile slowly and frown in dislike heavily, he twirled his sandbag even faster now and made sure to stay behind that bad man sight. His back was completely exposed to him since no one bothered to look at him and was too engrossed with the two large dragon ladies.

When the twirling of his sandbag reached the strongest, that wind can be felt from it, Ditzy steadily took his time to aim his sandbag at his knee.

Like a thunderbolt, Ditzy took his heavy sandbag and let it go at its apex of its turn. All the momentum, strength and speed was added as Ditzy followed his father instruction clearly, twisting and turning his hips, legs, and foot all together to the throw.

The sandbag flew like an arrow, and lodged itself right onto the back of the bad man knee. Just in the same moment Titanica tail would swipe the pistol off, unbeknownst to Ditzy.

Its impact would send the leader to his knees and fall down, the damage would not be fatal or wounding but the impact alone was strong to force it to bend forward.

Magnus froze as he moved to rise up, as the situation went from good to bad insanely fast. Only the boss remained, but...he had Haley. Gulping, Magnus slowly dropped his axe to his side and raised his hands over his head. Wondering over and over about what he should do, and how he could save Haley, before Titanica sprung into action, the kaiju woman's swift tail disarming him. It was only then that he noticed Ditzy, who then knocked the brigand to his knees. His eyes focused on Haley as he saw Titanica lunge forward, and, already kneeling, Magnus took a goose step with his right leg, before slamming his hands onto the ground and dashing forward. Rather than try and race the kaiju woman to the brigand, his focus was on making sure that Haley was safe. Using his long, muscular legs, Magnus explosively ran towards the two of them, and wrenched Haley from his grasp, before leaping back a bit to keep her out of harm's way.

Panting heavily, Magnus was more terrified than tired, nervously sweating as he gently set Haley on her feet behind him. "Y-You alright?" he asked, knees trembling as he put his hands atop them. Titanica and Ditzy has the bandit leader covered, thankfully, and disarmed he didn't seem to be a threat. Taking a deep breath, Magnus seemed liable to topple over from a slight breeze from how scared he was, a sight to behold given that he was covered in mud and pheasant blood from his hunting.

Nephele's breathing was still a bit ragged from the pain racking her body, and as her eyes saw the musketeer erupt from the dispersed fog, she couldn't do more than close her eyes, ears falling flat against her scalp as she heard the gunshot. Disoriented from the smoke, fire, gunshots, and pain, she took a moment to register Talia crying out, and heard the bandits fleeing. Seemed that simply having dragons was enough to strike fear in some.

However, all wasn't well, given that she was bleeding out, and Talia was in agonizing pain from the bandits' strange weaponry that seemed to launch lumps of steel at people at high speeds. She'd never seen anything like it...and was embarrassed that a guest of the Guild's was injured due to her own inability to interfere. Scrambling to her feet, she clutched a handkerchief over her wound, the pure white cloth quickly becoming bloody red. Going over to Talia, she heard Bast say that they needed to remove the "bullet", and would require a sharp object to do so. Gazing at her good arm, she wondered if she could do it herself, but shook her head. She had no medical experience, and would likely do far more damage than good. As such, she made herself useful and ran to grab a dagger from the Forge, the sharpest one she could before returning to Bast. "Take care of her first. I should be fine to wait, so long as I can staunch the blood." she said, handing the dagger to him. "...Thank goodness you know what you're doing." she said, taking a seat in an unoccupied dining chair. Keeping her handkerchief tightly pressed to the wound, she would soon have to replace it with a strip of tablecloth.

Maria Falena / Lily Falena

Lilly looking quite annoyed at the human turning around and walking a few steps away, "Tsk like i care about the sentimentally of you hairless apes, I will take my leave to get my gold it is what i deserve at least" She said starting to fly away. Hoping that Rebecca would follow her, She personally just wanted her money and leave she did not have the patience nor the time.

Maria meanwhile was was kneeling beside the old woman's body, Her hands covering her face as she was sobbing loudly. She felt guilty and regretted not help the old woman with her request. "I will...stay with you to bury her" She said between her sorrowful crying, Looking over at Yang wiping some tears form her eyes. "I'm sorry i just feel terrible on what transpired" She said standing up and saying her own prayer in her own language. "Do you need help carrying her or placing some sort of fabric to wrap her in?" She said softly, As she kept rubbing her eyes wiping away the tears form her eyes.

She unlike her sister was sympathetic towards humans and in fact others, She wanted to at least give the old woman a proper burial to be with her beloved. "Should we purchase a coffin or try to organise the funeral?" She asked Yang.

When Eilidh saw that everything was taken care of, she began to relax, glad she she hadn't needed to get involved, and to therefore test the control of her bloodlust. She was almost immediately punished for her leniency when the leader took a Harpy hostage. Eilidh was too scared to even draw her bow in case the Brigand saw her and harmed his hostage. She just watched from afar with gritted teeth, and watched the situation unfold. It was touch and go but this new Monster Girl was good. The Minotaur secured the hostage and the new girl was now grabbing the leader by the throat, following a successful disarming with Ditzy's help. Eilidh decided that now was the time that she could actually make a difference, and cantered up behind Titanica.

"I know how much you want to kill him right now," she addressed the scaled woman. "But that's not how we do things here. He's our prisoner and he's unarmed. We have cells in the guildhouse for this kind of degenerate to rot in."

@PaulHaynek@Restalaan@Lmpkio@The Irish Tree

Rebecca watched Lily start to leave, and turned to Yang and Maria. She trusted Yang to perform the funeral rites, and besides, she did not wish to reveal that she was also a priestess in front of these guards as that would really be tempting fate. "Yang, Maria. I would like to join you in laying this woman to rest, but I cannot leave Lily unsupervised. We shall meet you back at the guild building."

Rebecca quickly ran after Lily, and eventually caught up to her, making sure that her disguise was still intact when she stopped running. "It is your family's place and not mine to teach and enforce your morals, so I shall bite down the great many things I wish to say to you, and I will instead ask this; Are you not in the least bit curious as to how this whole business does not add up?"

Yang Bethlehem

She ignored Lily childish behaviour for now, more focused on the old woman as she gently covered her wounds.

"Wrapping her would be good but one must also cleanse the body properly first." She hesitate at that part as she hadn't much idea of grave keeper duties. Yang suppose at this point, it doesn't matter but duty and obligation forced her too.

"We lack the funds for a proper funeral or a coffin." She said bitterly, though she recuperate that by pointing what she can do. "I-I can handle the funeral rites, though the coffin might be something we'll have to make by hand."

It doesn't sound that bad, at least, not compared to the time where her master asked her to build an extension of a dojo by hand. Literally, when she had to hammer, cut, and dig everything by hand. It was time consuming process and it was already getting close to dark.

Maria Falena / Lily Falena

Maria was still wiping the tears form her eyes looking over at Yang, "I can help you..and i will need help cleaning the blood and other blemish on her" She said looking at the woman. "Umm i am sure we can find trees that will sacrifice themselves to make a coffin to let her rest..." She added walking over towards the woman kneeling beside her.

Looking around towards the trees around them starting to speak in her language, Talking to the trees and discuss if she and Yang could remove them form their roots to make the old woman her coffin. Nodding her head and turning her head to speak with Yang, "They said we can cut them down to make the coffin...although do you know how to make one?" She asked Yang. "I wonder as well if their a river around...or a mortician that may help us" She said mostly to herself.

---------------------

Lily meanwhile was flying away when the nun caught up to speak with her, Stopping and landing on the ground thinking about her question. "Well usually i would dismiss this whole situation, However the further information we are given i am trying to piece together what is going on. I would like to solve the clues but i do not have a lead, All of our leads are dead or insane" She said running her small hand though her hair.

"I would like to solve this mystery to get one over my "Precious" sister but i don't know where to start" She said seeming like she didn't care about the old woman but boosting her ego.

"Bast, Nephele. You've got Talia, right?" Bart went over to the aforementioned who were tending to Talia's wound. Then he addressed the Cyclops. "Talia. Thanks."

"Yeah... Don't mention it..." Talia muttered for a reply.

"Freyr! Are you okay?" Bart inquired about the Viera. "If you are, can you help out Bast or Nephele? Or you can come outside and help me secure the area." He told Freyr. "But if you really can't, don't push yourself, okay?" Bart then left and out of the newly-made hole on The Guild's entrance.

"I hope you know what you're doing..." Talia remarked to Bast who was assisted by Nephele.

The leader was undeterred when Titanica showed her back to him, holding Haley closer. It was only when Ditzy's flying sandbag hit him on the knee did he err. "Ack!" The sudden pain made him shoot his gun but it was fortunately not aimed on Haley's head. In a moment, Titanica has seized the rebel leader's neck who had fallen unconscious from the pain.

"Aaaaahhh!" The Harpy screamed as she put her wings on her ringing ears. She was snatched away by Magnus but she did not pay attention too much to that. Her pained ears demanded almost all of her attention.

"Y-You alright?"
Magnus Eissenhoeff

Haley saw Magnus talk. She only saw and nothing else. "W-What?! I can't hear you!" She yelled at Magnus. She could not even hear her own voice.

Meanwhile, Eilidh had approached Titanica and suggested that they throw the intruder leader in the guild's cells. "We don't have cells, Eilidh." A familiar voice corrected her. Bart emerged from the hole in the guild building that Titanica created. "We either kill him. Or let him go." Bart continued. "We don't have anywhere to put him in. Not even anywhere temporary to turn him in tomorrow. We either kill him, or let him go. It's one or the other.

"I'd say we let him go. He knows our strength now so he'll probably not come back." Neil approached and entered the conversation. He looked exhausted despite not doing anything. "Then again, that could end up backfiring. Who is he and his gang anyway? Raiders? We're not that famous to be targeted, are we?"

"No. I don't think they're raiders." Bart replied. "I think they're hitmen."

"Hitmen?" Neil repeated. "What?"

"I... kind of messed with a con operation in Ambran." Bart began to explain. "I was going to buy supplies but my friend discovered I was being scammed. A... little hustle broke out and I got away. They... probably wanted some payback."

Neil was in disbelief. "Bro, really?"

"Hey, you can't fault me for it." Bart defended himself. "Am I supposed to just get conned?"

"Alright, alright. I understand." Neil put a hand up before an argument ensues. "Anyway, what're we going to do to the guy? Whatever our decision is, we need to make it quick. I already feel raindrops on me."

"Oh and before I forget..." Bart had more to say, gazing at the hole on the building. "May I know who was the fine man or woman who created this lovely hole in our Guild?"

The knight squadron offered to help bury the dead old woman, saving the guild time. Once the business was done, the guild members all went back to the guild. The dark clouds have completely rolled in, blocking moonlight and starlight. It did not take long for the rain to come. Unfortunately, it had come before the Guild members could make it back.

By the time they reached the headquarters, they were likely drenched from the downpour. An annoying situation to be sure but they then saw a huge hole where there was once the Guild's entrance. Peering inside, they would see sitting on a stool and half-asleep although he jolted awake when he saw them.

"O-Oh, hey guys!" Neil greeted. "Welcome back. You guys were pretty late, you know? You missed an entire fight that blew a hole in the guild. As you can see." He motioned at the hole. "What happened to you anyway? You know what? Never mind that. You all must be tired and freezing. You all should probably change clothes for now. A bath too if you'd like." Neil advised the girls. "The rest of the guild are asleep by the way."

In a single sweep of her massive form, Titanica ceased the unarmed leader in her grasp and lifted him into the air with a single hand alone. The pain the leader had endured from both her tail and from a rogue sandbag hitting his knee made him helpless against the many other monsters in the vicinity. Now he is unconscious, stripped from his blood supply after being cutoff by the reptilian woman. He was unconscious, but one sudden twitch of her hand can spell doom to the thief. She begins to ponder internally on what to do next, as well as inharmoniously listening to the inhabitants of the building on this matter. After all, they came to their place first.

The first being to approach her was a calm-looking centaur, no doubt one who lived in that house.

"I know how much you want to kill him right now, but that's not how we do things here. He's our prisoner and he's unarmed. We have cells in the guildhouse for this kind of degenerate to rot in."

Titanica's yellow pupil eyes her silently, only giving a low grumbling noise as she continues gripping the thief. Then a man steps out from the building, presumably the landlord or owner, and began to talk with her. According to him, they didn't have cells in which to keep him in. The only other option was to let him go or kill him right on the spot. Soon others began to take part in this debate, with only the kaiju remaining silent. She has no quarrels in killing. She has killed things at a young age, mostly in order to hunt or against hostile foes who get too close. This thief seems no different. In fact, one single reposition of her mighty clawed hand can snap his neck like a twig. His stupid little face also provokes more harsh feelings that urge her to end the rascal's existence. Yet is he really that worthy in being eliminated by Titanica's hand?

Well...

With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound, she lobs the crook far into the dark woods. Titanica watches the unconscious figure fly an incredibly far distance until it disappears beneath the canopy. It was a rare act of mercy to allow such lowlifes a second lease on life. It's going to probably hurt like a bitch once he hits the floor, but alas it should hopefully knock some sense into him. With the deed done, Titanica considers leaving the area and to head back to the port. But before she could go, the landlord mentioned something.

"Oh and before I forget... May I know who was the fine man or woman who created this lovely hole in our Guild?"

At this point, she expects that all hands and mentions will rapidly point to her. Normally she doesn't care for the damage she unintentionally causes, but here it's different. She damaged a seemingly harmless house filled with humans and monsters alike. And they actually seem to get along quite well? It's intriguing to say the least, but something she couldn't simply ignore. She clears her throat as she responds in a deep, yet still feminine, voice, slowly turning towards the others.

"I did." she bluntly admits.

Yang Bethlehem

She sighed and thanked the guards with a bow of her head.

"I'm sorry for all this trouble, and I deeply regret my actions to your comrades. I went as easy as I can to them, they should be fine." Yang said apologetically to them, she did refrained as much as she can. The damage shouldn't be permanent at least.

Still, this was by far, the worst experience she had. Not only she started trouble, the old woman was dead. There's nothing she could do now to change that, a sorrowful look on her face appeared at that thought.

She walked back home listlessly, not really caring as her mind was just filled with nothing but emptiness. The drop of rain made her aware of it as she raised her head, before she turned around to Maria and took off her thick, travel monk clothing and passed it to her.

"Here, its raining, cover yourself with it." Yang was down to a short robes that fit the day to day life for the eastern style, within, her chest was tightened and held by bandages.

During the cold rain, Yang didn't seem to register it. She had worst training before, and she was too preoccupied with what she could have done to salvage the situation.

Her eyes closed briefly as the rain droplets sting her eyes, and ground her teeth in frustration as she couldn't come up with an answer. She briefly wondered, what exactly her master would do?

Soon, she reached back to the guild, drenched, her clothes wet and felt a shiver coming despite her constant breathe exercise to warm herself up.

Yang weakly raised a hand, nodded and smiled to Neil, before her eyes came to the large hole and wondered what just happened.

Neil had a close look to Yang without the thicker monk robes which allowed him to see her muscular structure and shoulders. One that was built with nothing but hard training for almost a lifetime.

Hearing Neil being concerned for them warmed her heart up, her smile regained some radiance back as she pulled Neil into a hug.

"Thanks, our quest...didn't end well." She said to Neil and didn't really extrapolated beyond that.

"I'll have to report this to Guildmaster Bart first though. Is he still awake?" She asked Neil as he pulled away from him gently.

Ditzy Stoneclub

Ditzy did a fist pump as he smiled triumphantly at that.

He slowly made his way to Bart to listened what's going and briefly collected the sandbag he had lobbed to the bad man.

"I can hit him hard enough that he can't remember who he was!" He suggested innocently to Neil and Bart with a smile before someone else had interceded as he watched the large new lady tossed the man far into the woods. He watched in awe as the man soared in the air before landing afar.

He giggled at that, that man was like a tossed stone! He wondered if he should do that next time.

"Oh, you're strong! Are you a dragon! Where's your gold?" Ditzy inquisitively asked as he had to stretched his neck upwards, the large dragon lady was the largest person he had seen so far.

"Wanna be friends?" He offered a hand to her eagerly and a large childish smile, he met another friend in just the span of a day. It was a fun day for him! "And what's your name?"

Maria Falena / Lily Falena

The two moth sisters came back to the guild with the oldest one wondering why their was a large hole near the entrance of the building. The oldest having Yang's robes wrapped around her body, Thanking the human but thinking she would be okay without as her fluff makes for good coverage of rain and other environmental elements. Speaking with Neil she had a sad look on her face when the subject of how their quest went. "Like Miss Yang said...not very good as the woman we were suppose to help passed away" She said looking down at her feet. Handing Yang her robe back thanking her again for being so kind to cloth her during the rain, "I would like a bath after such a stressful day, If anyone wants to join me you are more then welcome too" She said softly.

Nodding her head towards Neil and then to Yang, "I think a bath and meditation would be a good way to alleviate how you are feeling" She said giving some advice to the troubled mind of the girl. She herself was going to have to mediate and consult her goddess on what she should do about this whole situation.

---------------------

Lily meanwhile was looking quite annoyed by the whole situation, Wanting to just relax herself she told the others that she could be found in her room if needed. Not really caring about why there was a giant hole where the entrance of the building was. However she knew that Maria would pester Neil about what happened.

A sense of relief washed over Magnus as he fell flat on his behind, glad that Titanica and Ditzy had managed to subdue the leader of those would-be-assassins, though Haley not being able to hear was a problem. One that would hopefully be fixed with time.

Cold hard reality hit at Bart's statement though, that they had nowhere to incarcerate the man, and the only options were to let him off Scott-Free, or kill him on the spot. Another idea crossed Magnus' mind however...why couldn't they just tie him to a post? It wasn't like cutting down a tree was an issue for the Minotaur, and as such he raised his hand to voice his suggestion, just as the man was sent flying over the horizon and into the woods. Slowly lowering his hand, Magnus cleared his throat. That plan was out, now. Bart's apparent breaking of a con-operation had caused this, but...he did the right thing. Them retaliating like this was definitely not justified in the slightest. Still, it was worrisome that they might all very well have been assaulted in their sleep. Gulping, Magnus couldn't help but imagine what might have happened if he was alone and got too close to the guild; Even for the Mighty(?) Magnus, that many individual opponents were overwhelming, and those strange weapons...he'd have died, almost certainly.

As such, Magnus looked up at Titanica from his position on the ground, and heard her admit to breaking a hole in the guild hall...Hurriedly speaking up, Magnus said: "S-She did blow the hole in the wall, but...s-she was just trying to defend our guild. A-and she saved Haley," feeling small drops of rain land on his crimson horns, he got up and turned to Titanica, smiling at her. "A-And um...thank you, Miss. If you weren't here, I would have died for sure."

Nephele assisted Bast in his surgery, before successfully managing to staunch the bleeding in her arm. Being a monster offered her some increased resilience, but that only went so far to help with wounds like these. She would hope that it wouldn't scar, or that Rebecca's healing magic would be able to fix it without the need of stitches. Still, today had been long, and once treatment of the wound was done, she would head to bed herself, exhausted, and honestly feeling like today might have been one of the worst in her entire life.

Still, that strange presumably religious shirt of Neil's, the one featuring the strange yellow square being that she could presume was only an important heroic figure standing beside his peach colored, star shaped, and no doubt equally powerful demigod companion was incredibly comfortable. She couldn't very well sleep in her dress when blood coated the sleeve, after all. Neil would no doubt notice that she had rummaged through his things, but she could explain in the morning. For now, her aching body needed sleep body...and her dress desperately needed a washing come morning. Blood was insanely hard to get out of white, and became a terrible muddy brown on black. It had been tossed in a river with her, scraped against rock and sediment, and no doubt gotten the blood of the Joyful on it...

...Yeah, she needed a new dress entirely, at this point.
