A couple people in the superhero RP circle mentioned this game and something about it going into a season 2 soon? I wondered because I had an idea for the cosmic version of Angel, and just the DC/Marvel cosmic stuff crossing over in general. I see this is a complex universe though and some stuff can't happen. With something with this Angel fly?

You'll probably want to speak to the GMs about the exact nature of the cosmic stuff in this setting, but as far as I know, Angel's free. Season 2 is scheduled to start at the end of this month, so you've got a pretty good window of time to work on a character sheet.

In all seriousness, it's a shame you're dropping Cap. I really enjoyed your run, as short as it was, because I felt like you captured the tone pretty well. Every post felt like I was sitting down to watch an episode of a big budget TV show that I'd been anticipating all week. But if it was a chore for you to write, I understand why you'd want to move on.


Ironically, Billy Batson was on my second character shortlist, so you're (almost) half-right.

Well having enjoyed a weekend of Tomb Raiding, I shall be getting back to work tomorrow and continuing Thor's Journey.

GMs, should we be finishing up our individual fights for the MME so we can get to the Surfer? Just want and idea on the timeline


Also would love to know the answer to this to plan accordingly. Would rather like to get in on the Surfer beat down and introduce Thor to the rest of the developing heroes who join in.

@Byrd Man Would the CS model be in the OC of this thread?

I only ask if the concept could work because I wasn't sure about the status of the X-Men? Also because this version of Angel is pretty OP, I'd planned on toning it down quite a bit (a full power blast from his opened energy wings could wipe out a planet's star fleet for example). I enjoyed making Angel a solo'ed mutant hero in All Star Marvel a couple years back, and always thought the character had a lot more potential as a billionaire hero. Even moreso after the cosmic power upgrade with the ANAD version...

In a word, yes. Once you've all beaten your respective opponents, I'd make a gameplan amongst yourselves to start moving people towards a general shared location. I know that Andy/Superman and I will probably be sitting the actual gathering of heroes out, since we've got our own crossover to get back to, but the rest of you that want to team-up can go ahead and do that as soon as you want. Once everyone's in place, The Surfer - by under the control of myself, Byrd, and Morden - will come to you for the final bout.

I have some plans for its expansion with some well-known X-Men like Storm and then probably some more Doom Patrol members.

I'm good for a round two. I just don't wanna overcrowd things if people have ideas.


So I'm guessing, I didn't know Robin was going to be in this, that in the trailer it was jason with the whole "Fuck Batman" thing. Seems more Jason than Dick.

Based so far on the comments in the OOC, I'd say you'd have the interest of myself and @HenryJonesJr

As for a location, there are six cities that the Surfer attacked with people from the Raft, these six cities are perfectly divided between three cities on the East Coast and three cities roughly located in the Central United States (Midwestern maybe?). So I would suggest either have the Surfer fight take place somewhere in between or somewhere notable. Off the top of my head, Washington seems like a good option because of the Triskelion being there.

Alternatively, the showdown could be at the Raft as that's in New York and accessible to Gwen. Though as Gwen and Iris have met, it's possible for Gwen to reach out to Iris for a lift.

The other big alternative is to completely jump to the West Coast which has remained out of conflict in all this and have the Surfer fight take place there. There's both San Francisco and Los Angeles for rather large targets, not to mention the DC Cities of Coast, Star and Gateway City.

Looking at the two actors, I'm still fairly confident the Robin who uttered 'Fuck Batman' was Dick and not Jason.
