Alright, with the MME (mostly?) wrapped, who's left on the docket?

I've got one more thing to do with Andy and then two epilogue posts for Gotham that I'm going to bang out over the next two days, then I'm done.


I have an epilogue still to compose especially now thanks to the Surfer illuminating Loki's antics to Thor.

It's not like he was going to figure it out on his own.

I am almost done with my somewhat of an epilogue. Something that leaves the Guardians at a decent enough spot before I switch over to Black Panther.

Why? Have finally annoyed you with my gifs?

I do have a character thank I'm still writing up. I'd hoped to have the CS completed by now, but I've gone back and forth a bit with the direction I wanna take the character and what changes I wanted to make to make it 'ultimate'.

I PMed the GMs a 7 days ago with my original idea for the character. 4 days ago I PMed them saying I was changing things up. And soon, I'll be PMing them again because I've not only changed things up again, but I have a definite direction I wanna go with now and I'm fairly confident I can pull it off.

I'm actually working on the sample post now. After I finish it and do some proof-reading and mostly likely some tweaking I'll present it to the GMs.

So if no one else goes for the same character (which I believe one current player did show interest in doing so a while back) and I get approved, then only thing I'll have to worry about is trying to keep up with everyone's awesome writing ability.

EDIT - Thor and Superman better watch out!

With TMNT I flat-out never had an interest in until, oddly enough, the Nickelodeon cartoon from just a few years ago. I think because I really didn't quite figure out what their thing was beyond being radical party dudes, and saw all four of them as interchangeable. Catching the Nick cartoon on a lazy afternoon actually laid out their personalities plainly, and I got intrigued enough to read some issues of the IDW run. So I've been more interested since, though I still know barely anything about the lore.


Didn't see this earlier, but I fucking loved the 2012 Nick version of TMNT. Hands-down my favorite takes on Leo and Donny, writers who were clearly big fans of the franchise but weren't bogged down by it so they could still do their own thing, and a tone that made it not just a great TMNT show, but also a great spiritual successor to Teen Titans (and not just because the guy who voiced Mikey was also Beast Boy).

Also, the mini-series in the final season with Miyamoto Usagi is probably the closest we're ever gonna get to a legit Usagi Yojimbo series, so it gets some major love for that.

I'm surprisingly unknowledgable of a lot of the 'big' cartoons and TV shows from when I was a kid, that was just the environment I grew up in and the lack of TV we had. Lived on a farm, so I spent most my days outside (darn technology ruining kids these days) and we had barely any TV channels. The little time I watched TV it was typically as a whole family (hence my childhood obsession with SG-1... where the Goa'uld actually used to terrify me as a kid).

I've since caught up on some of what I've missed, but there are some cartoons/TV shows that I feel if you don't watch them as a kid, you can't really get into them as an adult.

No I didn't? I mean I can't get into it now but there's lots of TV shows that don't interest me. If I had caught TMNT as a kid, then I'd probably be all good to watch it.
