If anyone is struggling with a Master idea, I was kind of hoping to have Beni summoned by someone from the volunteer law enforcement organization, so if you might want to pair with her then, um, yeah!

So I certainly want to put my interest down, though I have over if some of these servants would be valid in anyway given the restrictions on servants.

For the rest of us, if folks want to start pairing up, the GM said we should discuss that for those of us approved.

So if anyone wants to summon Edison, the Wizard is accessible.

Blood Iron...I dunno if I'll be having her summon just yet, but yeah, if anyone wants to pair up, drop me a line.

  • Name: Alkyrieaze von Einzbern.
  • Age: 9. Well... physically 9, and she seems to have been born 9 years ago. Her mental age doesn't really match properly in either direction.
  • Appearance: Normally, this would be covered up.
  • Personality: Alkyrieaze rather embodies how the Einzbern are, even at the best of times, not the most sane of families--even in comparison to your average magus. At least in her case, this is mostly from an odd combination of childish naivete and adult awareness; with what she's been taught and is aware of, she has a frighteningly blasé attitude towards most adult topics, such as violence. If a Servant were to threaten to cut her to pieces, it would probably not even register, and angry she can have a frighteningly violent streak.
On the flip side... she's still a child whose socialisation has mostly been via homunculi that in many respects act as Servants, a very cold and uncaring "grandfather", and a long-dead hero. Childish pursuits do strongly hold her attention, and she's easy to influence as such.
  • Abilities: In the end, she's an Einzbern homunculus patterned after Justeaze, with all of the nigh-limitless magical energy that implies--certainly more than enough to comfortably sustain a Servant of any demand, or even several lesser Servants. Despite her age, her alchemical abilities are suitably advanced, allowing for any form of transmutation or refinement of precious metals, and the rest of the necessary base package for the Einzbern--mostly consisting, ironically, of healing magecraft no use for her. Like most of their homunculi, Alkyrieaze does not possess the slightest hint of combat ability beyond theoretically being able to make someone that has combat ability, but that's not much of an issue for once. And she'll gladly learn more magecraft if anyone makes the poor choice of exposing it to her (or if lessons are offered).
When not ill, the reinforcements on her internal organs theoretically allow her to run without ever getting out of breath or her heart rate increasing, breathe toxic atmospheres, and eat without ever being full. Of course, her general poor health prevents making much use of those.
  • History: After their failure with Illyasviel, the Einzbern thought it hopeless, with the grail no longer operational it was simply impossible for them to obtain the Third Magic--or, obviously, win the Holy Grail War as Jubstacheit had come to view his goal. But when the city was being built, in the exact place to mass-summon Servants... the family stirred once again, aiming for a different sort of perfection--a homunculus with all the ability needed to be a Master, but more of a human then even Illya had and able to live properly in such a city for the long term... long enough to perhaps recreate Justeaze's work.
And then sacrifice enough Servants to obtain their goal.
Of course, this first took some time--to have such a human homunculus and suitably raise them in the city, even after its founding, couldn't be immediate. And then, after Alkyrieaze's birth... all the flaws stemming from trying to create someone so human predicted a short lifespan--too short--rather than the near-limitless one that their plan might need. It was almost considered time to start again, but one last thing was attempted first: taking those weak and flawed internal organs, magically enhancing and reinforcing them, then putting them back in. Acht being Acht and not caring about his creations' feelings, she got to be conscious for all of this... at the age of six.
Still, it seems to have worked, and so far there's no immediate indication Alkyrieaze's long term growth has been inhibited--her health is now actually good, albeit she's still susceptible to frequent illnesses. She even took to the direct route to alleviate her loneliness after once more returning to the city from the Einzbern estates: summoning a Servant. School wouldn't help; the Einzbern aren't good at making homunculi with only childish knowledge: she inevitably wound up skipping all the way to highschool.
Since it's been a few years since then, they probably have some compatibility.
  • Other: Alkyrieaze isn't the only Einzbern in the city--naturally, they've ended up with a very big, fancy house--but she's the only "unusual" one. In that respect, the other homunculi defer to her where necessary.
And it means the 9 year old is the one with the best access to their enormous wealth.

@1Charak2: Hoo boy. Uh...

You probably watched the Voice of Saint Quartz video on the whole 'beating Gil' thing, I assume? Because, well... I don't think Abby's at that level of strength, per se. While fully unleashing an Elder God is just really bad for humanity in general, Abby (in base form, at least) isn't actively trying to screw over the world and would likely be limited to 5head beams and light tentacles. Her NP, while problematic in that it can target and mindscrew anyone at will, is also restrained by her even in Outer form.
Like, just look at how Salem plays out. Our Servants take damage from being exposed, but they're not OUT of the fight 100%.
Also, getting her to Outer form requires very specific triggers that cause her to go off the deep end, and if you're deliberately invoking those on your end, you have a problem on your hands.
In regards to the Gil problem, well... In this scenario where every Servant is likely registered in some sort of database post-summon and he has access to that info disregarding Clairvoyance, she doesn't have the proposed advantage to pull a Shadow on him. Also, like, he's got better things to do than bully a little girl.
So, like, she's fine?

Hokusai is far less OP since he just got octopus'd, and it's not like Ooi is any level of broken. She just paints stuff. Not like she goes throwing insanity around like candy or anything.

Angra... Well, since there's no Grail to taint, per se, Angra would be fine? Ritual is inherently the same, just different circumstances leading to weird shit, so yeah.

Dantes is also fine, honestly? He's got good stats across the board and his NPs are super speed, parameter concealment (which isn't helpful in a place where everyone can know everything) plus super fire, and a weird BatCon + parameter boosts, but he's nothing game breaking? We have a lot of people who can match him in that category.

Now for the extra list...
Nobu can benefit from more Mystery, but she's not impossible to take down. It's a matter of dealing with Papiyas that the problem, and she's just a 'hard counter' type of Servant that excels in a good matchup. Acceptable.
Ozy plops down his RM and stalls it out. Also he has the same ego problem as Gil, so don't expect him to actively fight. Or use his boat in any meaningful way other than the occasional laser.

You deserve suffering for suggesting Solomon. That's the only one I'm 100% denying.

@TheFake: Master's accepted, but Lugh's NP seems a bit UP for an A rank NP.

@Raineh Daze: Master accepted.

In any case... Yeah, I'd like people to pair up. Ideally. Since we have an odd setup, not everyone needs to make a Master per se (you can use an NPC to link up to a Servant if you'd wish or even self-pair), but I'd highly recommend it.

Melt ideally needs a new Master, and Mr. Normal also needs one to be obtained in the future.

Double reminder: If you make a Master, you're okayed for a second Servant. Just saying.

First things first, let's NOT talk plot details out of spoilers please...

Second general thing: you're assuming that all NPs and skills are always active here, such as Abby's and Dantes.

Okay, on Abigail: she would by necessity be weaker than in Salem because Salem was a completely ridiculous case.

Dantes: sure, he has powerful NPs. His skills are also bad. Enfer Chateau d'If obviously isn't permanent, because his Agility is merely C--it's an activated ability with the associated drawbacks and costs. Monte Cristo Mythologie is useful, but it's also only C-Ranked; what the wording specifies is that the flames it creates are able to harm souls. This is useful (it's a magical attack and can harm Servants) but also not the same as "super effective against Servants". Like, that's the bare minimum to hurt them. It's all fine.

@Raineh Daze

Firstly, I am merely operating under the statement that a servants NP is fit for deployment whenever (barring some instances) Not that it is constantly active. Otherwise... Ea would have its only weakness removed (the charge up time, since the drill has to spin up first before it can pierce the heavens as it were), everything else is based on the flat-terrian without cover model.

Abigail-
Well, that is merely what I was saying about Abigail, but in a more concise way for everyone else. Thanks for translating my drivel. ^^

But unto Dantes we go.

Servant parameters are not truely indicative of a servants true strength. Quetzacoatl for instance has ridiculously high parameters compared to most other servants and yet she would suffer greatly in a fight against say... Karna for instance. Servant Parameters are made solely to show who would win in a fight without NP's since riders are generally much more potent on their steeds etc. To call into question parameters even more so Edmond Dantes has what is effectively the same stat that allowed Saber to survive Gae Bolg, but then some. Since the Luck stat actually lets you shrug off these things and Dantes has so much of it, its above EX and yet also below EX for reasons I said in a post 2 posts down.

Likewise Dante's Maximum Drifto Manuever seems solely dependent on him having the mana to sustain it since his iron-willed determination and his wait and hope negate any physical downsides. Likewise there is nothing saying the skill enters a cooldown period so there is nothing stopping him using it as pseudo teleportion since its fast enough that it creates *multiple* afterimages. Mana is also a non-issue due to the avenger classification which sustains the servant by their sheer revenge fantasys (and they also generate mana through damage and this NP technically is painful as hell, only not being painful because of Iron-Will). So there is not really anything stopping him from say... going the assassin method and murdering the master of the servant because lightspeed movement is difficult to dodge

I must stress this is all hypothetical merely discussing why not to overlook Dante's skills

Dante's Luck is actually extreme on both ends of the spectrum. It is extremely good and extremely bad, and thus falls under unquantifiable. There is a reason people compare Dantes to Nagito besides of course the artist.

To call dante's extreme luck in his lore.

Extremely good luck -> Meeting the Old man
Extremely bad luck -> The reason why he even met the old man in the first place.

Course this is noticably worse then always having good luck, but not as bad as always having bad luck.

-----------

Trying not to be a nuisance though so if need be I can shush about dantes since most of this is hypotheticals anyway..

Okay let's stop and break this down a bit...

Servant parameters are not truely indicative of a servants true strength.

True, but permanently active NPs are reflected by changes in parameters. Things that are always on are included.

Since the Luck stat actually lets you shrug off these things and Dantes has so much of it, its above EX

1) Above EX is impossible. EX-Rank is unrankable luck. That is what EX is. "I have more than unrankable luck!" is not a thing that makes sense.
2) He has no Luck stat. This is the worst possible Luck. Wisdom of Crisis allows him to call on luck in dangerous situations (that's the Extra Material translation)... but he has no luck stat. And even then that would be A-ranked Luck at best. As he insists, he's not Edmond Dantes. He's the Count of Monte Cristo. He's an embodiment of vengeance whose hate will never cool and who will never get a reprieve.
3) A repeat: he only has any luck in specific situations, and it's still finite.

There is indeed someone with EX-rank Luck. They beat up Poseidon and got a wish-granting device, sinking Atlantis. By accident.

So there is not really anything stopping him from say... going the assassin method and murdering the master of the servant because lightspeed movement is difficult to dodge

... okay where are you drawing these baffling conclusions from. Grand Order and its extra materials are fairly terse on Noble Phantasms. Most Noble Phantasms need to be activated. Those that are not are called out as being always active (and are fairly obviously generally NOT their activated Noble Phantasm in Grand Order). There is nothing suggesting that Enfer Chateau d'If is perpetually active. Or that trying to use it for a long period of time would not drain him to the bone. Sure, he has Self Replenishment: it's also a shitty, shitty rank. He is marginally above Angra Mainyu's marginal amount of energy per "turn"; this probably works out as equivalent to Independent Action of the same rank. He might generate far more when being attacked, but that's more on top of a poor rate. It balances out.

Seriously, Enfer Chateau d'If has a fixed number of targets and is Anti-Unit/Anti-Army. That's a generally handy indication it cannot operate infinitely and is not a perpetual speed buff.

Attendre, Espérer he can't use on himself. He can resurrect someone else and give them a parameter buff. It does not help. Similarly, Iron-Willed Determination is Calm and Collected + Bravery--it lets him use NPs, it doesn't let him use them infinitely.

I think you're seriously overestimating what Dantes can pull off. We know what he could do alive: he killed one of Roa's incarnations. That's a great achievement, but Roa's incarnations aren't on the level of Servants. What he can do is fight far older servants on an even footing, but he's not any more powerful than Saber would be even at his best.

Snake? I'm sorry, all I see is Iroquois Pliskin, sole survivor of SEAL Team 10...

And yeah, I think the potential dynamic between Serene and Odysseus seems quite fun given Odysseus's past experiences, especially considering the fact that he's a Servant someone would have a hard time trusting.

@Raineh Daze
(moving on from talking about subjective brokenness)

He is Edmond Dantes, as the grail summons the servant in its prime of life. (In this case the count), The main reason for his refusal of being Edmond Dantes and the fact that even though he has memories of the ending to dantes story, is that oblivion correction forces him to remember all the pain and suffering he had inflicted upon him, leading him to perpetually be stuck in his revenge state of mind, That is afterall a caveat of the avenger class in that they cannot forget, That and well his mistress isn't alive to prevent his murderous compulsion

Source 1: His True Name is indeed Edmond Dantes, but he perceives himself as a different person from the "Edmond Dantes" who was a seaman from Marseille. The reason being that "Edmond Dantes" abandoned his evil nature at the end of the gruesome revenge tragedy in Paris... but I, who manifested as a Servant, continue to be the "image of a nemesis". In that case, I am not Edmond - or so he says <- This is eternally due to the nature of his class container.
Source 2: My beloved mistress (Haydee) is nowhere in this world, so this body shall remain a demon of vengeance for all eternity--

Source 3: Memory Correction is a Class Skill of the Avenger class. People are creatures that forget many things, but an Avenger never forgets. The critical effect of Avengers who attack from beyond one's memory is strengthened.

Dantes has been shown in the EoR trailer for Shinjuku to use his NP as a means of movement without appearing to even break a sweat doing so however it does seem he is not even close to using his top speed (since even if we factor in servant speeds, the speed dante is moving is nto even close to the speed of light aka his top speed with the NP), other then this, it hasn't actually been shown if Dantes can use his NP as a means of travelling, as his NP generally shows him using it to launch a multi directional attack, which is so fast it is akin to a time stop.

However the way it functions appears that the NP is flexible in its speed and therefore its duration, Obviously Dantes going all out could simultaneously only defeat 100 people maximum with 1 NP activation however, that only appears if he is going all out speed of light. Not really factoring in the fact it appears he can use the NP in a diluted fashion for bursts of speed.

Again, where the hell are you pulling this from. That, and trailers are meant to look cool, not be any sort of evidence. There is no evidence that it isn't activated like any other NP and thus limited like any other NP. Including the whole "reveal identity" shenanigans.

Game info. TL of his extra material.
