Madhisi
Current Location: Canal District -- Into the Spider's Web
"I see. Perhaps then, I may have to thank you, but I'll wait until I can be sure of it," Madhisi said after hearing the words of the other Master. Whose... peculiar mannerisms began to catch her attention further.

Nevertheless, this wasn't the time to think about her -- seemingly -- partner's idiosyncrasies. In fact, the information she got was much more important than that. "I see. After yesterday, I understand it. Even if it does feel wrong to not pursue the justice I seek with my own hands, this isn't a battle I can be of much use. I'll do as you say then and see what happens," Madhisi said to her host as she looked at the map, trying to make sense of where she needed to send Berserker to.

"Berserker, can you hear me? I have a mission for you. Go to this location," she said, sharing the information she had concluded, "You'll find more enemies there. Eliminate anyone that you see as a threat, and then come back home. Try to do so with as little needless destruction as possible, and, if the fight is too hard, just retreat. If you wound them I'm sure we can come back to finish it later. Other than this, do as you wish," she finished her communication.

Once Madhisi was done relaying what she needed to Berserker, she turned to the other Master and said, "It's done. She should go there and try to kill them without letting what happened yesterday repeat itself."

It was all white noise, completely ignored by the Berserker. Her mission was to kill the enemies of her Master, that was all that mattered. Retreat was not an option, not when she had nothing to hold her back. Tonight, her enemies would die.

She roared into the night, blasting off to her next battlefield with all the force she could muster. Her shroud was not activated, not yet, but her immense Agility and Strength made getting to the Workshop a trivial matter. She was there within minutes.

She stood outside the building silently, the sole noise in the area being her deep and heavy breaths as she tried to find them. Yes, it was there. The one she needed to kill was there, the dead one was above, in a hotel room.

"I understand your need to avenge your comrade. However, I must recommend that we try diplomacy first. The Berserker I encountered is extremely powerful. We cannot possibly take them on ourselves. She's already got the taste for blood..."

It was unfortunate just how right he was.

She burst through the window of their hotel room, ascending from a straight jump from the street below, shrouded in that same mysterious aura from the night before. Her eyes connected with that of Honda, one of the premier legends of Japan, and she realized she failed to finish the job last night. That would not be a mistake that happened twice. She ignored Ryte completely, moving past the homunculus with nary even a glance to acknowledge her existence. It was clear that eliminating his Master would not be enough to kill this pesky Heroic Spirit, no it would have to be a decisive kill.

She roared at the Lancer, the ground beneath her crumbling with each step as she dashed towards Honda with arm outstretched. It would be a clean lariat, with enough force to decapitate the heroic spirit should it connect. Or it would be if Mordred did not change tactics at the last moment, ducking low and moving for an uppercut as she moved into Honda's guard once more. Every fiber of her being cried out for this man's death, while undoubtedly every fiber of Honda's being cried out to flee. Scurry and flee like the dog he is.

Saber: Sir Ywain
Knight of the Lion
Latin District

It seemed that these gatherings were proving as noisy as ever. Well, that suited Ywain just fine. No expression or sound left his helmet as he watched over the group.

The presence of an enemy Servant was noted, but it would be easy to simply leave this place. If it was his fellow knight once more, then he could simply approach again. Mindless of the presence, Ywain simply moved alongside Noon in their pursuit of the thief, until-

A flash of killing intent spiked. An attack was coming.

Certainly, in this case, Ywain could not defend by attacking. Well, if that was so, he’d simply have to defend by defending. This time, the trajectory of the arrows was almost impossible to predict, so he simply had to assume they could come from anywhere. And since he had little to fear-

Ywain grabbed Noon and pushed him to the floor, covering him with his body, becoming his shield. His movements were modulated, without approaching his full strength or speed. Perhaps Noon would receive a bruise or two, but given the distance the attack had to travel, he would certainly be protected in time.

The volley of attacks hit against the protection of Ywain’s ring, and it wavered, damaged. The faint notes carried in on the wind.

How tremendously disappointing.

Ywain scooped up Noon, cradling him while leaving as few points of vulnerability as possible, and dashed into a nearby alleyway, putting as many barriers between his Master and Tristan as possible. The other Master was safe for now, it seemed. Only his own had been targeted.

It seemed he had come to finish the fight. A shame - it would have been nice to compete with his fellow knight for the grail itself, at the end of the war. Perhaps it was Tristan’s own idea, to seek out such unnecessary tragedy. Or perhaps it was his fate, a whim of his Master. Either way, it seemed they would end this now.

Hero of Patience

Northern Latin District, MeetingShooting Place in the Streets

Saber's vigil under the street lamp came to an end when Sirs Noon and Ywain approached. He smiled at their presence and grabbed by a handle some sort of rectangular box that had been sitting on the ground next to him. Multicoloured cardboard bearing a logo would flash briefly in the moonlight as he waved at the knights, and a slight clinking of glass would reveal its nature: an eight-pack of beer.

"Comrades! Good to see you made it through the night! A thief, though? Did someone make off with some of your things around the time you faced Sir Tristan?"

He patted himself for a moment, as if searching for something that might be missing. He seemed relieved afterwards, though it wasn't like he carried some wallet or key- just his armour and weapons.

That relief was short-lived, though.

The paladin's eyes darted southward as killing intent and magical energy flared towards them. Immediately, he leaped to stand in front of Cleo, summoning Courtain. A sword, shorter than Sauvagine though nonetheless a longsword, appeared in his free hand ready to intercept attacks targeting his Master. Oddly enough, it remained sheathed despite being held forward in a battle-ready position.

When he found that the attacks were coming at Noon, he remained tense. He couldn't expose his Master to this kind of attack, even to save his ally. He could only hope that the miraculous defensive power of Sir Ywain's ring would hold up against Failnaught's strange projectiles as it had last night.

"Master. To safety. Now. I can't act until you're secure. He kept his eyes on the distant Tristan, but reached with his free hand into his eight-pack and extended a beer towards the place where Ywain had secured himself. A small measure of anger had touched the generally jovial expression of this Saber. "Want one, knight? I didn't expect your fellow over there to be partial to that kind of attack, but to each his own I suppose."

He moved as needed in order to stay between the Archer and Cleo for the time being, and spoke to her without looking.

"Now, give me your orders."

As soon as that goddamn Berserker showed up in the window, Honda's spear and armour materialized on him. The Berserker's attack was well telegraphed to the keen eye of the spearman. Being used to fighting in crowded environments granted him some insight into the oncoming charge.

"No blade that has kissed my skin has ever left a permanent mark..

He simply leapt back as her fist began arcing up for an uppercut. He quickly quickly stabbed her thrice, aiming for her chest, her head and the shoulder of the arm she swung with.

Berserker

Mordred -- The Knight of Treachery

Current Location -- Core District, Ritz Hotel

@ItMeGritty@Seirei No Hai

And so the battle began, with Honda once again on the backfoot as he retreated from Berserker's furious assault. The room was cramped, a point in his favor as he utilized his experience and his reach to keep Mordred out of attacking distance. Yet that was all he was doing, merely keeping her out of attacking distance. The first strike was batted away by her left hand, the second by her right. Each strike would throw him further off balance, the strength behind each parry enough to shatter bones and rupture organs if they had connected with him. Yet she was no hand to hand fighter nor martial artist, her inexperience showing as she took a grazing hit from the third stab. Yet she barely even felt it, she ignored the pain and roared as she manifested her sword in hand, ready to finish off her foe from the night before. She plunged it into the ground below with all her strength, the floor cracking beneath them as she recreated the scene from night prior. Any human nearby would be blown away, while the ground beneath crumbled from the sheer force of the attack. The next two floors followed suit, the shockwave from her strike shaking the building to it's core as they both lost their grip on terra firma and entered freefall.

Berserker was ready for this, her shroud disappearing for a brief moment as she angled herself towards Honda in midair. Not even a second later it reappeared, starting from her feet and crawling up the rest of her body as she blasted towards Honda like a jet. She swung at the Lancer wildly, not even a hint of a pattern or any sort of skill to be discerned. Honda's technique and reach made it impossible to land a decisive strike quickly, so she simply removed half of the equation. Fighting in midair without footing would make technique nearly impossible to utilize, turning this into a battle of raw power.

Archer
Tristan -- The Knight of Lamentation
Current Location: Latin District -- Paris Pantheon
A smirk came to Tristan's lips as Ywain did what the Archer expected to. Ignoring an enemy in a battlefield like this would prove to be costly so the Saber better remember this especially when dealing with other Servants with expertise in ranged combat. There's no doubt that other bowmen of greater skill and lesser morals than Tristan could be roaming this city, the kind of conduct Ywain was showing until now was rather reproachful in Tristan's eyes. It was sad to see a Knight of Camelot falling so low as to not even turn around to acknowledge a foe.

It was very sad, indeed.

Last time Tristan was caught in a disadvantageous situation and learned some of the realities of a Holy Grail War. Nothing was more just than paying back the favor and showing Ywain what it means to fight an Archer at range without taking his life before they could finally have a last, and decisive, duel.

Thus, Tristan didn't shot any follow-up "arrows" after his first volley, giving plenty of time for Ywain to get back on foot and realize what was happening. If he advanced towards Tristan, however, there would be plenty of retaliation, to make sure he would understand that -- in these circumstances -- it would be hard for even the King to come close to Tristan. If Ywain couldn't overcome an Archer that he knew in his lifetime, what hopes would he have against the likes of the legendary bowmen of India, Greece, and the Far East, that couple perhaps be on the hunt at this very moment?

"Oh ho?" The voice, genderless before, now carried stronger inflections and cadence. The masked figure looked left and right, as if making sure no one else was watching. Satisfied no more civilians was around, the masked figure turned, throwing off its body hiding outfit with a flourish.

An arrogant looking scruffy fellow stood in front of them, grinning widely.

"Oh, some good looking girls we got here. You've been holding out on me, huh? Master?" He leaned in, tall enough to still be towering over Nobunaga as he took a closer look at her visage. However, due to his slim build, he didn't at all seem imposing, just uncomfortably tall and close. "Hey, how about it, little miss? Wanna go get a round, its on me."

Regardless of his laid back attitude, there was an air of danger around him.

Cleo Forsberg

Latin District, Engaging

They were under attack. The realisation came belatedly, after Saber had moved to cover her, after Noon had been pushed to the ground by his own Servant, after the projectiles had struck the Knight’s protective barrier and after Noon had been whisked into the alleyway by her side for his protection; much like when she had tried to follow Saber’s fight against Lancer the previous night, Servant’s just moved far too quickly for her to track with her comparatively mundane senses.

By the time she had caught up to the situation things were already in hand; both Servants stood ready to fight or defend or whatever else was demanded of them. Ogier urged her to get to safety so he could act, but given their opponent trying to move may put her at more risk than staying where she was; at least here in the alleyway she was out of his line of sight and had the cover of the buildings between her and Archer to protect her, not that that was necessarily a deterrent to a Heroic Spirit of such calibre.

Using the connection between herself and her Servant, Cleo looked through Saber’s eyes once more, borrowing his vision to see their opponent without needing to stick her head out into the open. Archer was still on his perch, still too far away to see clearly, but they knew where he was at least and where he was firing from; he hadn’t moved an inch from when she had seen him before, nothing to indicate he was the one to attack them or even if he was aware of their presence. It was unlikely to be anyone else however.

The fact he had been lying in wait for them, even before they arrived, and had waited until Noon or more specifically Ywain showed up before attacked suggested this was the same Archer that had interrupted their last meeting. That meant their opponent was one of King Arthur’s Knights.

Although he didn’t seem to have any interest in Cleo or Saber at all, this was the second time he had shown his face to them, the second time he had attacked their ally in as many nights. He was aggressive, or maybe just had a personal grudge to deal with, and was a threat that would need to be dealt with sooner rather than later.

“Kill him.”

"My Servant will come down there to kill yours, and then you'll be free from all this stress. You'll have no more reason to tremble."

"Ah..."

How fortunate. They had said it, rather than him. They had expressed the desire to commit evil.

Was he absolved? No, of course not. Even in self-defense, even if it was another who acted to kill and you merely killed them out of retaliation or self-preservation, killing was undoubtedly evil. However, it softened the blow. It made those harsh lines smoother. He would still commit evil if he killed this man's Servant, but it would be slightly less. The burden hoisted onto those shoulders would be just a hair lighter.

Moreover, the man himself did not need to die, so long as he did not interfere. So long as he did as was requested, there was no reason to take his life. This, too, was fortunate, for killing a living human with the capacity to evolve was surely a greater evil than taking the life of one who already knew death, even if both were certainly evil.

While his Magic Circuits had opened as a precautionary measure, there was no sign of action on the Master's part. His eyes simply remained fixed on the sight before him, watching as his Servant battled the enemy.

'Show me, Rider.'

'Show me the strength you gained from rejecting the king of evils.'

Despite the floor disappearing beneath him, Honda acted quickly. As Berserker was aiming for him he used the dull end of his spear to push off the hotel wall diagonally, propelling himself to the floor below and and perpendicularly away from Berserker's trajectory, as well as blocking any blows that happen to come his way. He rolled to his feet and took a defensive stance. Berserker likely sent herself through a few walls so he waited for her to reemerge, possibly further compromising the structural integrity of the hotel.

Saber: Sir Ywain
Knight of the Lion
Latin District

It seemed that Tristan was giving the group an opening. How strange. To open with such a cowardly attack, but not immediately follow through. Was this a test of some kind? Ywain did not understand the intent behind these actions. But a challenge was a challenge, regardless.

He snatched up the offered beer with a nod, grateful to his fellow-knight. It seemed that man was the considerate type.

Not letting his guard down for a second, he ushered the two Masters back to the nearby Bounded Field that Cleo had emerged from earlier. Taking a secluded route through back alleys slowed it somewhat, but protecting the pair would be easily possible even if Tristan attempted to renew his assault.

Once they reached the relative safety of the Bounded Field, he set his master down, looking briefly over him like a concerned parent. “You aren’t hurt?” He asked, his tone on the edge of worry. Noon was strong, and Ywain was confident in his own ability, but the question still needed to be asked.

Ywain’s armour shifted. Was this a fight for the knight of the lion, or a knight of Camelot? Was this fight personal, or in the name of justice? He was unsure, but either way, he would rather have his helmet removed for this.

He tapped the bottle against a wall nearby, smashing the top, and drank the entire bottle in three quick gulps. “Not bad,” he muttered.

Ywain twisted his ring, and his presence blurred. He was no Assassin, but any obfuscation to his presence would help in his approach towards Tristan. He gave one look towards the other Master before beginning to move. This time, it was not a direct assault, not a quick and direct attack, but a more cautious approach. Moving in the streets and alleyways, careful to avoid Tristan’s line of sight, it would take some time before he caught up.

Saber of Decimation
The Core
The Ritz Blitz

@GreenGoat@floodtalon@ItMeGritty

As soon as he felt that destructive intent of the unwelcome guest attacking his newfound ally in his Master's own room, Saber quickly yanked Tenryuu towards Chii, both so that the maid would bring their Master to safely, and so Tenryuu wouldn't fall to her death in the hole that used to be their room. Without a second thought, Saber then dove towards the raging knight, Nagelring already materializing in his hands. His armor was already adorned after having a lengthy discussion with his Master regarding how it would be dangerous at night, and they should be prepared for any sort of attack come dusk. Of course, it seemed that Saber was right to assume some such thing happening

... And yet, there was something completely off.

Wait, what's that smell?
... is it that?
It looks like that, it moves like that and it definitely stinks of that.

A dozen thoughts quickly flooded Saber's head at the sight of the Berserker, shifting ever so slightly as if a nerve has been struck. He was already quite angry that his home was destroyed, but the feeling that welled up inside of Saber was a different sort of anger... it was much more primal, as if that thing going berserk was everything that Saber had stood against. He felt an urge to crush the beast, to subjugate it under his boot. The anger that Saber had harbored for this monstrous knight seemed both unreasonable and unrelenting.

And so, Saber straightened himself to accelerate his fall, seeing as Lancer had already moved out of the way of this Berserker's reckless charge. While fighting in the air was outlandish for most Heroic Spirits, Saber easily adjusted to such conditions due to experiences of fighting against his most hated foes: those that bore wings and required the young prince to take to the skies to slay them. The Demon Prince made sure that Nagelring was positioned properly as he dove for Berserker so that he would be able to intercept his opponent's attack with his own blade. It was an odd maneuver that Saber performed, to make an attempt of parrying a blow that had already been successfully avoided if not for the true nature of Saber's sword.

If Saber's maneuver was truly successful, if his hideously large sword managed to meet the beautiful blade of Berserker's...

"Nagelring!"

As Saber absorbed the force of Berserker's rage-filled strikes with his blade like they were mere swats, it began to glow in a cyan light, as the true power of Nagelring began to release itself. Quickly parrying the last of Berserker's strikes, Saber spun mid-air, grasping his sword in two hands tightly before slamming the glowing blade into Berserker's side. Once the blade met the beast's scales, the energy contained with it exploded with pure force, likely resulting in Berserker being blasted away with the combined power of both Saber's and her own strength.

To absorb the force of a greater opponent's momentum before using it against them, that was the technique the Demon Prince had devised to fight opponents much stronger than him. It was how Saber managed to conquer against the giants, existences above humanity that were much stronger than he was. As it was one of Saber's greatest techniques in his quest to slay the giants, it was great enough to be crystallized as Saber's first Noble Phantasm; Nagelring.

For the Ritz, the force coming from Nagelring would likely total the building by now. For Berserker, she may as well be strong enough to not take any lethal damage from such an attack. Saber would expect as much, for if she was truly the sort of opponent that he had felt when he had first felt her presence, then her scales would surely be strong enough to protect her from any lethal damage from that attack. No, while it was indeed a display of Saber's own strength as a Servant, the true reasoning behind that attack was to knock Berserker outside the Ritz and into the streets... because if Berserker truly was that, then Saber would need a more open area to use his second Noble Phantasm effectively.

Rei Tsurara

THE SECOND NIGHT|Residential District

"I'm sure your riding skill allows you to mount it, let us search and yeah my wish?" Rei tried recalling what was her wish but it only jumped into bad memories the moment she hopped on the bike. Conflicted, Rei just let it all out to her servant, the one whom she had grown fond of even if it was only for a few days they met.

"Let us find Saber's Master and try to avoid worthless fights, we will only fight when the right time comes. My wish? I used to have normal goals though. I want nothing to do with the world of Magi, call me a disgrace and such but whatever. You already witnessed the hell I went through back at my house which I wouldn't call home." Recalling the moment she summoned her servant:

(Flashback)
"The grail did not choose me but it chose you? Go ahead and participate." Yukina, her aunt was coercing Rei to join the Holy Grail War.

"I refuse. I will just have my command seals washed by the Mediator." Rei was slapped in front of her servant, Sanada.

"Get the Grail for me you thot. Refuse one more and I will have your virginity taken away by means of announcing it to the Clocktower Mage Association about
Your sorcery trait! Magus in the past coveted our clan's undying reproductive abilities and we were at the the peak as First Class household but one bitch ranaway-"

"Shut up you whore. If you want the grail so badly then fine I will get it for you. To reach the Root and all that crap....you Magus disgust me and I am too disgusted of myself. You'd do anything to get the Grail right?"

"Of course Rei. Should you fail, I can just announce your sorcery trait to the world and at least you will live a whore's life! As a Master you already exceeded the standard of having plentiful of mana but you lack dangerous power, normal ice magic ain't gonna get you far.."

"I want you to teach me how to use that properly."

"Oh....you perceptive you. Your intelligence never fail to surprise me. Yuki Onna Magecraft is a magic from the Age of Gods. Are you really willing to take the risk of reliving the nightmare? The last time you used it, you ended up killing my vassals." Yukina laughed at Rei's answer.

"Quit being sarcastic."

"Nope. I got nothing further to teach you smart you. You're a talented young adult. Go figure it out yourself. You could just win the grail by sleeping with all masters and servants."

And that Rei ignored, she went away with Sanada to fight in France.
-----

"Absolute power is the cliche answer but my wish is to be a benevolent existence that freezes and shatters evil. I wanna make the world grow with the right principles. All the crap that is happening now is the result of the crap of our ancestors. How about you, what's your wish?" @The World

The Bleeding Moon

Ritz Hotel, Core District

Honda gapped at the sheer power displayed by Dietrich, the Saber. He had fought against the Berserker defensively but this swordsman just came in and sent the dark knight flying.

He dropped down from the building, landing on the street, observing where Berserker landed. He held his spear at a downward angle in front of his body, a defensive stance as he walked towards Berserker's impact zone, shifting slightly to the right to allow Dietrich to confront the Berserker head-on.

This is the Saber my Master wants me to kill...

Hero of Patience

Northern Latin District, MeetingShooting Place in the Streets

Saber would have liked to offer Cleo and Sir Noon beers as well, but now it was too late, and he feared they would all be shattered in the coming battle.

“Kill him.”

There was no need for him to acknowledge that order, or say something foolish like 'understood'. If he could not understand such a simple thing, then what kind of Servant would he be? Saber took up a bottle of his own, tucked the pack of the remaining six under his arm, and began to run.

He had a rather long path ahead of him, not to mention he would have to jump over the Seine again. Beer in hand, the Paladin took a few gulps while keeping his eyes trained on Tristan before placing his thumb over the opening to ensure his drink wouldn't spill. He ran low to the ground, with Courtain pointed downward and forwards, the tip near the ground while the hilt lay in front of his face. His movement began while Ywain was still covering the retreat of the magi, and considering the stealthy and indirect approach his comrade chose he would likely fall behind by a fair bit- assuming neither of them faced a barrage of invisible projectiles or anything strange like that.

Ywain had been able to catch Tristan last night, and this Saber was a different sort of fighter from Ywain. He was not a "wall", but a more nimble sort of duellist, and his armour, for the most part, was a flexible padding compared to the plate that the Lion Knight and Knight of Lamentation wore.

The Seine raced into his vision as he rocketed down the street. Would the red-haired bowman respond to his movements before he reached it? Saber's eyes were steely and focused. There were easier attacks in the world to predict than a volley of invisible arrows.

HE FOUND IT! AHAHAHAHAHA! HOW BRILLIANT! HOW INGENIOUS HE WAS!

Because Roland had left his love's side for the first time since the war began. In doing so he sought a way to show his love to her. A way to show his lovely Angelica just how much he loved her! At first he hadn't been to sure about it. He had been doing all sorts of stuff, but now as he stepped into the wonderful gardens of Paris, he knew exactly what he needed to get his lovely Angelica to prove that he loved her. To do that, he would have to go above and beyond! To do that, he would have to go get himself a bouquet! He could see it now, a beautiful plant, full of beautiful things!

So, the mad Zerker took his sword in hand, and marched towards the forest. Fairies didn't scare him, not that he really noticed them. What he saw was a lot of trees, and he just had to find the perfect one. The first tree he walked up to, simple... Bland. Not good enough to be a bouquet for his love. THE AUDACITY! So, sword in hand, he marched deeper into the forest. His blade snapping back and forth. The odd tree being split in half, as he carved a path through the mystical forest. Heading deeper into the forest in search of what one might call... THE PERFECT BOUQUET TREE!

And the whole time, he began to sing.
"LALALALALA! FEEDLE DEEDLE DEE! I AM IN LOVE FOR ALL TO SEE! GONNA FIND HER A TREE! PROVE THAT SHE IS THE ONE FOR ME! LALALA FEEDLE DEEDLE DEE!"
A truly majestic singing voice. The fairies were all probably in awe of his high notes.

As the high of a good performance was swept away, Chieko could focus on new, important things. Like her hand itching. Must be the mosquitoes. Stupid bugs. Maybe if she won she'd use her wish to get rid of all the mosquitoes. Hmmmmmmmm. Now that's an idea.

"Quite the bold move to showcase your Servant's abilities in public Chieko-san. You had to have known a Master was watching, the burning in your hand would have been impossible to ignore."
But as she was picking up her box of showman stuff, the arrival of another master came forth. Turning her head at her name, the shrine maiden narrowed her eyes. There, two people, both dressed in modern clothing. It took her more than a few seconds to make the connection. After all, it had been a few years, and so many people passed through the temple. But this one? This one in particular was special.
"NOBUKARA! Is that you!?" Chieko nearly bounded forwards, landing on one foot and leaning in closer. But... Not towards Nobukara. But Nobunaga. "WOW! It is you? It's really been a while. And to think last time I saw you I thought you were gonna be a hopeless A cup forever. And here you are, with least a B-cup. Wow, I guess dreams really do come true, huh!?" Because by this point she had reached out, and was cupping the servant's breasts. "Wow, and they're really comfy!"
After getting a good grip and deciding that was enough, Chieko took a step back, sighing to herself. "But what's with your servant?" She said, addressing Nobukara finally. "I thought you were related to some big shot warlord who was really cool? Why didn't you like cut a finger and use your bloodline as a catalyst to summon them? And what's with the limp? Did she get hurt already? I know Saber may look like a boarish man with terrible taste, but he knows how to dress a splint."

There was a pause, and if she wasn't shot dead in numerous painful ways, she had a sudden realization. "Wait, are you Nobukara? That means this person is your servant!" Her smile turned to a horrified frown, and she immediatly began to bow. "I'm so sorry Miss Warlord-Sama! If I had known it was you I would have shown way more respect to your D-cups!" She began to bow up and down so quickly it was like there was a fan blasting the duo. "I hope you'll forgive me and my servant for our horrible attitude! We're just visitors from Japan who are trying to make a humble living! We promise we haven't killed anybody yet!"

Latin District - Deadly Wind

The topic of when exactly he realized he was in danger was a bit muddy. It was before Ywain had covered him, sending his world tumbling. Yet far from being quick enough for someone like him to defend against such an assault.

“Noon!” Despite her worry the girl made her way out of sight, knowing all too well that lingering would only make her another liability. Yet her worried glanced carried over, even as the knight rolled out of his servant’s arms before Ywain disappeared both from sight with his ring and from their presence in a burst of speed.

“I’m fine!” he cried out as his feet touched the ground, almost stumbling but swiftly taking control of himself and establishing balance and smoothly breaking into a run.

“Was that truly?...”

He was unable, or perhaps unwilling to finish his question to his servant over their mental link. Dismissing it with a shake of his head he instead steeled himself as he and Cleo retreated to safety.

“Archer has shown himself to be an active threat. This obstacle to victory and my duty cannot be tolerated. Ywain, defeat and dispose of him.”

A shame really. The night was off to a nice start, even with the issue of the thief wearing down on him. He hadn’t expected to be attacked in such a way with the obvious presence of the two being together. A confident powerful servant may have, without regard to the numbers disadvantage boldly made for battle. Or perhaps an assassin, caster or archer would have simply watched them in hopes of learning more of them.

But a knight, and an archer not only choosing to attack such a group, but also attack in such a manner. It was no prideful strike, but he also wondered if it could even be called pragmatic at all. It simply made no sense to him.

“Ywain was there… no, this is not the time.”

He directed the faeries that were tracking down the thieves to come to the area, to have a set of eyes in the sky to overwatch the unfolding battle between servants.

“You’re okay too, right?” The girl asked of Cleo. Her worry and concern faded away for the most part the moment she saw her companion was in one piece, but it seems that some was extended to her too.

“Well, either way it’s all good to let the servants fight but we shouldn’t sit completely idle too. Noon, Cleo, let’s get to work! Hm, do you have any familiars around?”

Archer
Tristan -- The Knight of Lamentation
Current Location: Latin District -- Paris Pantheon
"Ah, so you do have both of them with you," Tristan thought, still without moving a muscle as he noticed Ywain's sudden disappearance. Not only that, but he could also get a glimpse at the other knight's weapon as well. In fact, this unexpected information was more than enough to satisfy him for the night. Tristan would have retired without any more offensive moves if it were not for the orders of the Masters commanding both Servants to kill him at this moment.

This was, at the very least, a great underestimation of Tristan's archery skill, to think that any of them could approach him still living.

"Perhaps, a final song will be an appropriate gift," Tristan said as he opened fire like he was ready to. Still, he didn't make any apparent motion of aiming, firing, or even looking towards his target of the hour -- the Servant with the sheathed sword. After all, he wouldn't allow Ywain to know the tactics he could use against Lunette's ring. Not now at least.

What the other Ywain's companion would notice is that this time, Tristan was actually shooting to kill. One, two, three volleys of ten "shots" each with a minimal pause between them, but out of the ten "arrows" of each volley only seven would seek to hit Ogier, aiming for his neck, wrist, stomach, knees, pelvis, heel, or simply to bisect him, slicing right through the heart. Not only were these arrows faster than the ones he shot before, but they also came from far more complex angles that felt more like being struck by an invisible sword than actual arrows, it wasn't something meant to allow him to live at all.

The remaining three "arrows" of each volley plus an entire other ten "shots" would be unable to be noticed at the moment for all but those who actually knew how Tristan fought. Instead of aiming to hit any target, they snapped around any of the ends of the streets that led right to the Seine, forming traps that would catch and tear apart anyone who ran, or jumped into them.

Unless any of the other Servants could "fly", trying to give chase in this situation would be suicide. Hopefully, Ywain would be able to alert his ally to not do it, otherwise, it was unlikely he would notice it time to get out of this alive.

After spending less time shooting than it would take for one of the Master to blink their eyes, Tristan disappeared from their sight, turning back into his spirit form and dropping inside the Pantheon. A moment later, he would be on the streets, retreating towards the Core District, more specifically to Les Invalides.

Madhisi
Current Location: Canal District -- Into the Spider's Web
With a little bit of concentration, Madhisi could see everything through Berserker's eyes. Or rather, she could feel her. All that rage, that power, it was truly maddening, but Madhisi couldn't allow herself to succumb this time. She had to remain in control, clutching her arm despite the mind-numbing pain.

It took her some time to realize that this situation wasn't a favorable one anymore, they had to escape. Not only to remain alive but also to avoid anymore destruction than it was needed. This probably could be considered a victory of some sort. She was sure to have heard it through the roars of Berserker's rage, the identity of one of her foes swords. Perhaps this spider mage would be able to know who they were fighting later.

For the time being...

"Berserker, come back to me! Don't make me force you to, just retreat now! You've done well enough. Come back... now!" Madhisi said, or rather she screamed as both the voices of her telepathic connection with Berserker and her actual body got all mixed together in a cacophony of rage and reason.

Going towards: Nowhere
