A voice came resounded from the forestline behind Rei, he had not heard any footsteps. His head snapped over his shoulder, an unknown figure revealed themselves. The stranger came speaking of advice and luck. Lucky or not, Rei had little idea of gauging the situation- 'new' world, and now a random stranger approaching them with unknown intentions. "Who are you? Generally 'benefactors' introduce themselves before approaching, no?" His voice was more mistrusting as intended. Rei almost mistook her for a human, but the ears concluded otherwise. An elf, seriously?

Rei's attention went back to the woman from his world. His face remained neutral, despite being internally surprised at the off-handed indifference of her injury. "I am fine. Worry about your own injury." Rei said pushing through the headache. The woman spilled her lunch next to her. He fished around his clothes to find a handkerchief. She- the woman seemed fine, fine enough to crack a joke about her 'Supreme' shirt despite bleeding aswell. "I am Rei." He continued, placing the handkerchief in her hand, "Use that." He once again turned his attention to the elf, "Do you have anything that can help her with her injury?"

---

"If I may, I have some questions about well..." Rei gestured all around him, as if to represent the world he's in, "This place. It would be a stretch to say we're in 'Kansas', as I feared. Do you have any clue why am I- no, why we both are here?" He kept his gaze trained on her, she seemed human but had a distinct air that separated them from her- whether it be beauty, grace or just aura. Her reaction earlier indicated that his kind, assumingly humans, weren't exactly wanted. Were they not commonplace here? Rei eyebrow's furrowed slightly, hinting his displeasure. Having to rely on someone else, especially one he didn't know, didn't sit well with him but he had little choice.

Rei gripped his brother's ring, breathing a mental sigh of relief at it not being lost in transit. This information overload was too much for any person to handle. Suddenly his air stood on end as a roar shook the forest. A blot in the air becoming bigger and bigger in size, as if directed towards the trio. A hulking dragon, flesh dripping from it's rotting hide, descended upon them. Just when he had thought it was too much, this world just had to throw undead dragons at them. What was this, World of Warcraft? "You have got to be fucking kidding me." Rei spat out unintentionally, a mix of disbelief and genuine horror draped his expression. What in the hell are you supposed to do in this situation.

Inori raised a brow at the feline warrior, once he exchanged a calm posture for aggression. Though Korvash had attempted to keep his anger in check, as Inori so often instructed, the brute reached for his sword with a loud growl. Indeed, the orc's large, green hand fell onto the hilt of his massive blade, with fingers tightly wrapping themselves around a worn handle. "Enough!" Inori exclaimed, swiping a small, clawed hand across the night air. Red, crimson energy circled the appendage, a reflection of what had come to pass with Inori's motion of flamboyance, previously. Differences rested within the color. Where blue had maintained its shape, this was the first time azure mist had given way for its crimson sister.

From beneath their feet, ethereal chains red as blood manifested in an aggressive manner, before wrapping themselves around Korvash's arm, locking it in place, and prevented him from drawing the sword at his hip. "Inori!" Korvash exclaimed, looking down at the creature who appeared to have had enough, the expression on Inori's face one lacking in amusement.

"Cease your pleas, Korvash," Inori frowned, clenching his fist. The chains would then proceed to squeeze the orc's arm further, and began pulling it further away from the sword as if hell had allowed for Inori to borrow demonic links of torment. However, despite their appearance, Korvash did not scream, which indicated that they simply restrained him. They did not cause harm. "Threats are highly unsightly," Inori continued, turning his attention to Cade, "and childish," he finished. "I would have hoped you above such mortal trivialities." Once more shifting his attention back to Korvash, the demon's eyes narrowed into a deathly gaze. "Will social interaction maintain inconvenience with you at my side, Korvash?" At the demon's words, crimson chains slithered up the orc's body, wrapping themselves around limbs and throat, where they continued to tighten by the second. Perhaps the source of this orc's obedience was making itself known, at this moment.

"Ngh..!" Korvash growled, struggling against the chains, but merely found them tighten, further. "F-fine!" The orc pleaded. After a moment of lingering silence from Inori, the demon finally allowed for his spell to end, chains shifting into crimson sand dancing on a passing breeze. It left the orc out of breath, with beady eyes fixed on his smaller companion. "Das'it! I ain't gonna' deal with this shit no'mo'!" Turning on his heel, the orc began to trod away, heavy steps crushing twigs and leaves in his wake. "Find another slave, Inori!" Korvash called out, before marching off into the darkness. It did not take long before he had been swallowed by the night, and vanished from sight.

Rolling his eyes, the demon turned back to Ayita, and Cade. The demon's gaze lingered, however, as he met Cade. "Don't make childish outbursts a habit," Inori stated, and then fixed his attention on the human. She was the epicenter of this commotion. The nexus of this chaos. Though, Inori would be lying if he found discomfort in it. It was rather.., entertaining, despite his annoyance towards these mortal reactions. Dancing monkeys, the lot of them. "Back on track..," Inori sighed, answering the woman's question. "You will find your power, in time. It is not possible for us to deduce what you are able to do, but the stories speak of humans with dominantly elemental abilities." The demonic boy tapped his chin, analyzing the woman. He appeared vastly unaffected by Korvash's decision to vacate the group, and scarcely even acknowledged the fact that the orc had been among them, a mere few seconds earlier. "Whether you are able to conjure fire from your palms, move the earth, or will air into a tempest of gales, the answer will come to you." Crossing his arms, Inori considered the situation for a brief moment, before continuing. "Most magic manifests itself in reaction to trauma," he grinned, that unsettling, mischevious smirk making itself known on his features once more, "and danger.., will be abundant."

TIME: Past Midnight
LOCATION: Morteum (The Necropolis)
INTERACTIONS: @Alivefalling@Eviledd1984

Gleeful laughter echoed throughout the Necropolis. In the blink of an eye, a parasol appeared out of nowhere and hovered high up in the air as it slowly rotated. It gradually made its way down, where its handle bounced on the ground and spun around fast, scattering bountiful cherry blossoms and petals all over the area. Then an unknown figure seemingly appeared out of nowhere as well, holding the parasol and twirling around elegantly as if she was dancing.

The demoness finished her twirling as she faced the Lich King, closing her umbrella and bowing before him. "Father." She respectfully greeted him. She stood up and faced his comrade, O'Ner the kindly undead, before Aklenroth, giving him a smile. Her skin and hair were as white as snow, and her eyes seemed to be just pools of pure gold.

"You heard right, General Faister. Our delightful king has a daughter. I will understand if it has surprised you quite a bit. Father is a very humble and quiet lich after all. Oh, where are my manners? You may call me Sakura." Sakura amusingly said to O'Ner with a curtsy. She has watched O'Ner before as any of Aklenroth's chosen comrades have piqued her interest. It was to her disappointment to find out how boring he was as all he did was tend to his precious garden. She almost considered destroying it because she wanted to see how O'Ner would like if he was mad, but decided not to as quickly lost interest.

Sakura walked to Aklenroth's side as she twirled her parasol around. "Oh Father, you should see what it's like outside. All those worthless gnats creating their own rifts in hopes that a hero will come and save their precious lands. You will even find yourself laughing at their futile attempt." She said as she chuckled, running her fingers through her parasol.

The parasol was a gift to her by Aklenroth, one of the only intact objects his forces have found along with her among the wreckage of her hometown. Aklenroth and the dark elves imbued magic unto it, making sure it will be useful for Sakura in her future endeavors. She promised to cherish the parasol given to her by her new Father, a symbol of her loyalty and eternal gratitude to the omnipotent Lich King who saved her life.

As she talked, Sakura noticed a weak life force lingering around before disappearing forever. She knew what race that life force belonged to and she smiled to herself as she realized her Father had finally killed that pesky fairy spy of his. Sakura was planning to tell her Father the news about the elves opening rifts all over Avalia, but the fairy beat her to it. Sakura even saw the army of undead marching out of Necropolis, and she even heard Aklenroth shout out loud and calling forth Soruklithbaal, ordering him to kill the ones who opened the rifts. She smiled and laughed gleefully as she watched the undead dragon soar to the cold, dark heavens, knowing that their enemies were no match against the mighty creature.

"As always, I know you called for me here for a reason, Father. Would you like me to continue going undercover to gather more information about the enemy? Or perhaps, you want me to assist our precious dragon? Oh, I can even go and wreck havoc in a few villages myself. Just say the word, Father!", Sakura excitedly said as she was very much looking forward for a chance to 'play' with the enemies.

"Yup. Time to get the fuck out of here." Darius had whispered to himself as if he had a choice of leaving. He turned away from Skar and started walking in the direction he came from. Take a few slow walking steps, then jog a little, and then you can just take off. Yup! Get away from this giant green bitch and get to my phone so I can call the police to come find me. Darius tried to hold onto the reality of the world he knew to keep calm. Everything that had just happened was just too out there for him. It was to the point where he was half and half on the idea of him just being in a bad dream that he could tell some of his friends about later.

"Stop!" Skar ordered as she hopped off of the dead troll's back and onto the ground. She slammed the tail end of the spear into the ground to add to the aggressiveness of her tone. "You are claimed by Skarsnaga Ghasharzol! No more steps." Skar watched Darius stop in his tracks and look over his shoulder at her with the same weary expression he had for the last minute. He was very conflicted now. A dream versus this all being real. Skar raised an eyebrow as she watched Darius try to subtly pinched his left arm. The man let out a sigh.

So it's officialā€¦ Okay, come on this can't be real! I'm being stared down by a giant green she-hulk looking lady that killed some giantā€¦ giant something and now sheā€¦ she basically made me her bitch? Did she? She definitely did! I'm supposed to believe that this shit is real? You know what! Fuck it!

Skar was confused by Darius' behavior. Then again, she had never encountered a living human before. She was told three things about humans. They thought too much, had weak bodies and were considered valuable to Lord Aklenroth. Bringing Darius in alive would fetch a high reward and that's all the motivation she needed for not murdering him right here on the spot. She moved to take a step forward when Darius dramatically knelt down and bowed his head.

'Darius Barnes! At your service master!" Darius announced. A spade's a spade. A bitch is a bitch and that's what's going to keep me aliveā€¦ for now. Maybe this monster lady can explain what's going on, because I just can't keep running around confused. I HAVE to figure this out. Whatever this is.

"Small man won't fight? Weak!" Skar spat on the ground beside Darius clearly disgusted by his actions. Skar disliked many things, but weakness was something she couldn't stand to witness.

"Weak?" Darius replied without thinking. He didn't expect the huge green woman to react like that. He thought his act was the golden ticket he needed, but all he did was piss Skar off. Running, wrong. Surrendering, wrongā€¦ So what do I do?! A scowl began to form on Darius' face. He had gone from confused to scared to scared and confused to helpless, but now he was just tired of feelingā€¦ weak. He stood up to face the orc with a harder expression on his face. The camel's back snaped. "Fuck you! You and I BOTH know you would kill me! You have like 5 feet on me and you're fucking ripped! Oh and let's not forget the weapons and the fact that you killed THAT THING! Him! And you want me to fight you?!" Darius finally pointed at Skar, outraged with not just her, but this whole situation.

Despite the sudden change she saw in Darius, Skar was still unimpressed. All she just heard was how much Darius could bark back. On the upside, he did appear less weak to her now. Still, the orc was set on selling Darius to Aklenroth's forces for her weight in amas and much more. She didn't address his rant and instead turned away to let out a long whistle into the night. Darius held his expression until Skar's eyes met his.

"Human. Not as weak. Still weaker than orc. Skarsnaga will take human to Dark Lord. Dark Lord will buy. Then Skarsnaga will watch execution." Skar explained to Darius as if she was providing an itinerary.

"Execution? I don't even know what's happening and you you're basically saying that I have a price on my head and will be executed once delivered!" Darius hung his head and shook it at this predicament he needed to change.

"Dark Lord hatesā€¦ fears humansā€¦ No humans, no fear. Makes him look weak, but he is strong. Opposite of you. Strong body, weak head. You have hard head, weak body."

A low snort accompanied with the sound of clanking metal was heard. Darius looked past Skar to see a large figure approaching from the direction that Skar had whistled. Skar didn't acknowledge it, so he assumed that it wasn't a threat. That or it would kill her and he would have a brand new problem. The giant boar came into view and stopped beside Skar. Many weapons and sacks were outifted on its leather harness. It was the orc's beast of burden.

"So this Dark Lord guy isā€¦ mentally challenged? And you listen to him? Come on Skarsnastica-"

"Skarsnaga Ghasharzol!"

"How 'bout just Skar okay? It actually soundsā€¦ Strong!" Darius flexed his bicep. "Aaand I'll remember it. Now, as I was sayingā€¦ Come on Skar, you know you can fix physical weakness, but we can't go in and fix the Dark Lord's head! So that just means it's about getting paid! I can pay! I can get you paid! And I can get stronger!" Darius' superpower was finally activating. Darius wasn't the brightest man, but he could find the right words for whoever was his audience. "Then we can go to the Dark Lord and just take his money instead of getting whatever he wants to give you!" Darius' enthusiastically attempted to sell himself as a priceless asset to Skar who answered with a scowl. She looked as if she was thinking really hard, and Darius was just hoping he hadn't confused her.

"Skarā€¦ I like this name." The orc woman replied. It seemed like she hadn't even listened to Darius' proposal.

Oh godā€¦ Why me?

"Skar will test human. If human too weak, Skar will sell. If human strong, Skar will work with human. Get on Peacemaker! We move from here. No more talk." Skar pointed to the giant boar.

"Really?! We ar-" Darius was relieved, but flinched at Skar's repeated demand.

"No more talk!" Darius quickly nodded at Skar who placed her spear onto the boar. Darius walked to the left side of Peacemaker, but saw nothing that would aid him in mounting the animal's harness. Darius jumped up onto the seat and pushed himself up to sit down. Skar stared at how awkwardly Darius had mounted, but just grunted to show her discontent. She didn't mount Peacemaker often due to all the weight the beast already carried. To her, Peacemaker wasn't a mount, but more of a moving storage unit for weapons and items.

The odd duo of human and orc headed westward to Illuminata Kingdom.

The elven woman watched the two humans just as closely as they watched her. They seemed cautious and untrusting of her, good. So they had sense, this was a good sign to Kenia. Humans new to this land should know not to trust anyone easily. "Apologies for my rudeness. My name is Kenia Biralei and I apologize, but you are quite a long way from home.ā€ She began trying to explain to the two, realizing this wasnā€™t going to be an easy task.

She looked to the woman and realised that she had been injured, whether before being sucked into the rift or after she didnā€™t quite know. The man was asking if she had anything that could help and Kenia was already looking through her pouch on her hip and pulled a few things out. She slowly moved towards the two as she showed them she was only moving closer to help. She knelt down next to the woman, opposite to the man and being cautious of the vomit. ā€Here chew on these. They are simply mint leaves, meant to help calm your stomach along with helping any headache you may have. Now let me take a look at your head.ā€ She said as she handed the woman the leaves as she moved to examine the wound.

ā€This really isnā€™t an easy thing to explain, but Iā€™ll do my best.ā€ Kenia started to explain as she began cleaning the wound the best she could with what she had. ā€You are now in a place called Avalia. Some incredibly powerful elves summoned you here in a desperate attempt to find help. Our world is in trouble, you see, as there is a...being and his minions that have cruelly ruled over us for a century now. Humans arenā€™t native to this plain of existence and that makes you-ā€ She was cut off as she watched the dracolich break through the trees from above and her eyes widened.

ā€Help her to her feet, stay close together, and run. Donā€™t look back, just run as fast as you can! Iā€™ll be right behind you.ā€ She said as swiftly as she could to the man, a flash of fear in her eyes. She quickly moved to be between the dracolich and the humans, conjuring her magic as she did so. She sent a fierce blast of light at the monster before her, hoping that the humans obeyed her and ran so she could quickly follow.

A man lead a petite red haired woman in chains towards a pyre in the middle of town while the townsfolk stood aside and watched. Elsea looked around at all the people sheā€™d known her entire life and sneered at them. Not a single one dared to make a move to help her, no instead they all looked at her in either fear or disgust. Anger bubbled up inside of her at the sight, if they thought she was a witch then she would be a witch. ā€Youā€™ll regret this, youā€™ll all regret this! I swear to you I will return! I dinnae kinn when, but I will make you pay for what ya have done! I place a curse on all of ya, on all of yer bairns, and yer childrenā€™s bairns! You will fall, Scotland will fall, and all for the atrocities you have committed!ā€ She screamed at them all as the man leading her yanked the chains in hopes to silence her.

She fell to her hands and knees, feeling the gravel digging in deeply to her palms. The pain was quickly forgotten when the strangest sight appeared near her as a black hole opened up out of nowhere. There were gasps and screams as pure panic ensued and people fled. Elsea gasped as she was sucked through along with the man whoā€™d been dragging her to the stake.

----

Elsea opened her eyes as she frantically looked around. She appeared to be in a forest of some sort, but nothing like the ones she was used to. Something was off about this place, but she couldnā€™t tell if it was in a good or bad way. She went to sit herself up when she realized her wrists were still chained and attached to her neck. She sighed in frustration until she heard a voice. ā€œAch...what in the hells?ā€ The man whoā€™d been leading her to her death sat up, seemingly completely dazed and confused as he looked around. He hadnā€™t noticed her quite yet and Elsea felt anger rise in her once more.

Thatā€™s when an idea struck her and she took the length of chain in her hands, silently moving towards the man. Quickly she acted, wrapping the chain around his neck and pulling as hard and as tight as she could. By some miracle sheā€™d escaped the pyre and ended up in a forest, sheā€™d be damned if she allowed this man to bring her back to be killed. He let out a small yelp before his airways were cut off and he began to struggle. Her palms burned from the previous cuts sheā€™s acquired, but she held firm. His hand caught her across the face as his nails sliced down her cheek, but she didnā€™t care. She wanted-no, she needed this man dead and so she ignored any pain.

It took much longer than she anticipated, but soon the man went still and Elsea collapsed backwards out of exhaustion. Her hands were now a bloody mess while she could feel a tiny trickle of blood running down her face. She took a moment to catch her breath before it truly dawned on her that sheā€™d just killed someone. Her heart began to race as panic set in, tears stinging her eyes as she quickly got to her feet and backed away from the man. She needed to get out of here, to get away from the body before someone or something found him. She quickly gathered the length of chain in her arms, gasping for breath as she started to hyperventilate. Soon she was frantically running through the forest, not paying any attention to her surroundings. That is until she came across a rather frightening sight.

There in front of her was a man using what looked like the earth as a sword and shield. There was a large fox like creature beside him while across from him was a pale man with pointed ears seated atop a large black cat. There were also two winged women off to the side. The strangest sight, however, was the vines that seemed to be alive and moving towards the pale elven man. This was all too much for Elsea as the panic took over and she let out an ear piercing, blood curdling scream.

After a few hours of celebrating with the local populaces and a decent amount of drinking, Kuroi returned home for the night. Although the ambitious youth would find himself sleeping in until midday, he had decided to prepare himself for the journey he had told himself to take. Fame. Glory. Prestige. These were all things that motivated Kuroi to set out from home to attempt to become one of the best duelists Avalia has ever seen. In his small pouch, he made sure to add a few more tools to his arsenal; caltrops, steel wire, smoke bombs, and even his pair of climbing claws if he ever needed to scale something beyond normal capabilities. Besides the minuscule amount of wealth he had recently acquiring from the tournament, there wasn't much else Kuroi could think of that he would need to bring along with him.

After setting everything at the door, moonlight gleaming through the window invited Kuroi to take a walk around town one last time despite the darkness. He would definitely return to Roshmi City, especially if another tournament was taking place. However, he expected he wouldn't return to see his hometown for quite some time. A few months perhaps? Definitely no more than a year but it would be quite some time nonetheless. His parents already knew of his ambitions and how he would disappear after his final meal with them once the sun was in the sky. Opening the door and stepping outside, Kuroi breathed in the fresh air. He gently closed the door behind him, making sure little sound emanated before venturing onwards into the night.

One of the fairies seemed to be smart enough to heed his words. She pulled her friend away from the human. Xenelith had no doubt about who she was in this story then. A sheep. Someone who near mindlessly followed her friend, either unbeknownst or uncaring towards the danger they would both be in. The other fairie was foolish to even expend her energy on the human. They were creatures of the forest. No doubt they had heard the howls that are only familiar to Daka. Yet she chose to weaken herself none the less. It didnā€™t matter. His bolt of dark magic would kill the human outright if fate was merciful tonight.

Xenelith, however, had not accounted for a fifth party in the mix. A fox-shape rushed out from the bushes and saved the human. The magic crashed into the ground. Eating away at the life force of grass before it dissipated. Leaving a scorched looking hole. Ferra turned herself towards the demi-human with her Dark Elf rider still on top. He chastised the girls. Unlike the pink fairy, he was not a sheep. Just a concerned friend. Or something more. He was certainly someone special to them. Why else chase them into the dead of night on a night like this? It didnā€™t matter, the demi-human, by obstructing an execution had forfeited his life. The girls might have lived, if only as slaves but the foxā€™s fate was entirely sealed now. ā€œFool!ā€ He cried out at the fox. But then the human was trashing again. He spoke about a god and angels, then called upon his powers to form a shield and sword. The Dark Elf let him rage and trash and raise the chevron.

In that pause, he had also listened to the other fairy. The weakened one. The human had made things interesting but it was the fairyā€™s foolish opinions that were annoying him to no end. The good of everyone? What do they know about the good of everyone? Her kind watched and did nothing when the Light Elves began banishing their darkened brethren to Daka. Xenelith had studied his own history. They held power that could challenge the light and for that transgression, they had to be removed. The light ones were even too weak to swing the executionerā€™s axe so they send them to the cold and desolate place that is Daka. Expecting them to die there. They didnā€™t. They rose in power, thanks to Aklenroth. In return, they followed him to rid their world of the human menace. Now the other races trashed and threw their tantrums. Now Xenelith felt a strong need to teach the young fairy a real lesson. To show her the truth of the world.

He was about to strike when rustling from some leaves distracted him. He and Ferra turned towards the source of the noise. Another human came crashing through the bushes into the grass opening. A smirk formed on Xenelithā€™s lips. It would be a bountiful hunt. Three rebels and two humans. It had been a long day since he last he caught so much prey. However, the scream distracted the Dark Elf. Then suddenly roots rose up from below and threw him forcefully away. Ferra got caught into some bushes but was quick on her feet again. Xenelith, on the other hand, hit a tree with his back and fell down on the roots and grass below. Though he was in pain, he did not release the grip of his sword. The plants still came at him though. A seventh party interrupted him. Now his patience was being tested. He kneeled on one knee and let out a sharp whistle.

From the bushes, the four wolves jumped. None of them identified Elsea as a real threat though, thus none of them attack her. Instead one raced straight for Dionaea and another aimed for Risa. Two others moved to go around the stone chevron. One to attack Jean-Luc and the other going after Kyran. Together with Ferra, who first jumped on top of the stone bulwark and let out a wet snarl straight in the face of Jean-Luc. After which she pounced on him with her full, massive weight. Ferraā€™s attack would no doubt be lethal if too many of them hit. Her claws could rend open flesh and he jaw would break a bone. The wolves were less dangerous. Though their job was less about killing and more about incapacitating. Once they could bite down on their prey, they wouldnā€™t let go.

After the whistle, Xenelith raised his right arm. Instantly the midnight shadows twisted themselves around Xeneliths hand and then quickly flowed down like a black ichor. Veins of red pulsed through the mass of darkness. Then he slammed his hand into the ground. Releasing the black magic into the earth. Shadow tentacles sprouted from all around Xenelith. Twisting themselves around the assailing plants. Red energy pulsed through the tendrils, destroying the plans. Leaving but dried, yellow, deathly plant matter. In the meantime, Xenelith pushed his sword into the ground and used it to raise himself. ā€œShow yourself you coward!ā€ He shouted out at his still hidden attacker. Though he doubted the fairy would be brave enough to come out into the moon's light. It did not matter. High above him, he could hear the soft caws of Mourn.

Elthrael Vol'Kerno

Time: Midnight
Location: Near the River Kingdom
Ambiance: youtube.com/watch?v=jCDU8SbOBV0

The loud noise from the side made Elthrael's entire body twitch, if there was something he really disliked it was loud noises. Loud high pitched noises. He grit his teeth as he tried to keep his focus from being disrupted by the screaming woman, his efforts were paid off well as one of the many roots flung the dark elf into a nearby tree.

This is the natural order of things, dark elf. Hm? Oh? Still alive?

Elthrael thought and raised an eyebrow as he removed his hand from the tree, the dark elf had endured the slam surprisingly well, not only that but countering with dark magic, causing the plants and roots near him to wither and become distorted. Elthrael decided to cease manipulating the nearby plantlife, as it would mean unecessary loss of plants for just a single dark elf life.

The dark elf had also issued a challenge to him, calling him out to fight in the open. A honorable one. How intriguing. I must find him later. Seems you are indeed stronger than the common rabble, but you are still a thousand years to early to best me. The dark winged fairy then set his eyes on the woman whose voice had caught his attention, accompanied by the scent of blood and... A human? A female human. Such sweet fortune.

Elthrael quickly made up his mind, he was going to seize the moment to grab the human woman. Believing that the large fox and the human with the earth powers should be capable enough to provide the two fairy women with aid against the dark elf and his beasts. The dark elf had used his magics but also taken a slam into a tree, it would surely only be a matter of time before his resources and allies would run out. The fox was likely able to dispatch one of the beasts easily, the human if he truly were a threat to Aklenroth should be able to fend off his attackers aswell, if he would die in the progress it was fine. As he would still have a human in his grasp. The two fairies were what concerned him the most, whilst they could certainly fly and possibly assist with magic of their own. The idea of leaving them behind was a difficult one.

But the chance of having a human captive of his own was priceless, since they were so rare. Even more so if he was able to find out how their powers worked, he could possibly use said power to overthrow even the lich king himself. At least in the worst case, he could assist the human in becoming stronger. While he had briefly considered to stay and fight with the others, the idea of the others meddling in his human forming plans would be a nuisance. He could potentially forge her into a better weapon. With the right guidance. Thus the others interference could become a hinderance and make her rely on them rather than herself.

With that in mind, he wished his kin the best of luck. Hoping they would indeed claim victory, the two fairies had certainly caught his eye with their beauty. Elthrael jumped down from the tree, falling smoothly through the air and landing softly as his wings, even when folded were lessening the fall quite the bit. He landed right next to Elsea, and set his golden eyed gaze on her.

"Come with me, fair flower. On swift wings to safety. Don't despair, hold on tight." He said in a soft tone of voice, leaning gradually closer to her ear, a slight smile on his lips as he formed the words, and then tried to wrap his free arm around her waist. Planning to lift her up with him into the air, so he could take her elsewhere. His wings would spread out, revealing it's dark interior, two large red orbs with yellow cores in them. Making his presence known fully to the others nearby, had they not heard his words.

"You're far from home, dark elf! Serving a king whose only true companion is his folly, a trait you seem to share, how about you save your sorry hide and step down before you get put down?!"

He smirked mockingly after attempting to temporary draw the attention of the dark elf, before trying to fly off at high speed with Elsea, deeper into the forest. Into what he considered to be his domain. The most tree populated part, being an ideal defensive forest... no a fortress against any attacker willing to give chase or wander into the deep forest unwaringly.

Breathe. Elsea thought to herself as she closed her eyes, trying to get ahold of herself. She was panicking, she knew she was panicking and she needed to stop. Panic only caused more trouble, especially in situations you didn't quite understand. She could feel her heart racing and it was making her a bit dizzy. Stop. No, you need to stay conscious. This isn't helping you in any way and ya need to survive. Perhaps this is only a nightmare? She tried to reason as she peaked open her eyes, but to her horror nothing had changed other than the dark elf had been thrown into a tree.

She couldn't decipher who was friend or who was foe in this madness. Were any of them friends? That's when wolves now came crashing through the trees and bushes, causing Elsea to gasp and consider running again. Where was she to go though? If the wolves or even the panther decided to give chase she wouldn't escape. Had she managed to escape doom only to fall into it again?

That was when someone, or perhaps it was something, dropped down beside her. She jumped, completely startled as she turned to look at the man beside her. Her initial thought was to somehow attack if he meant her harm, but his appearance caught her completely off guard. He was frightening, yet there was also something intriguing about him. He leaned in closer to her and spoke in a gentle tone that seemed to calm her only slightly. He was offering to take her to safety, could she trust him?

She turned her gaze back to the battle in front of her, quickly thinking through her options as her gaze fell on the two women. They were very odd in appearance, yet they were the two that also seemed the most vulnerable and in danger. Very much in danger, she realized, as Elsea noticed the two wolves going for them. Unthinking, she dropped the chains she'd been holding as she raised her hand in alarm. "Look out!" She stupidly yelled in warning as she realized shouting wouldn't do them any good. There was a warm, tingling sensation at her fingertips as a bolt of fire erupted from them and flew straight at the two wolves.

Elsea's eyes widened in shock as she looked at her hands. She didn't just do that, did she? She was so confused as to what was happening and finally looked at the strange man next to her who was offering her safety. She finally made a decision, knowing her odds were better with one person that she didn't know their intentions rather than a bunch of people who she didn't know their intentions. So she gave him a nod as she awkwardly tried to hold on to him with her hands still chained, ignoring the sting if her injuries.

She looked at his wings briefly before she realized he really meant to fly. She didn't have much time to react other than let out a small squeak and bury her face in his chest as he lifted her off the ground. Where was she that such creatures actually lived? Had she been whisked away to the land of the fae? Who was this man whom she allowed to take her away? Was she really going to be safe? All of these questions raced through her mind as she finally built up the courage to open her eyes and look up at the man. "Are ya one of the fae folk? Where am I? How did I get here?" Perhaps it was rude to try and speak to him as he flew, but she needed answers sooner rather than later.

Time: 1 a.m.
Location: Wilderness Between Orc Landing and Illuminata Kingdom
Interaction with: n/a

Shortly after initiating their travel, the duo of human and orc reached a dirt path that ran parallel to a nearby river. This dirt road and the unusually bright moonlight now guided the pair westward toward their next destination on Illuminata Kingdom. After nearly an hour along the way, Darius couldn't help but pinch his arm again whilst he rode Peacemaker. He started off mildly and then increased the pressure until he made a face of discomfort. Fuck!

After a hopeless sigh, Darius let his eyes wander and study his surroundings. An hour in Avalia and Darius still had little to no answers about his situation. He had attempted to ask Skar a few times since the start of their travel, but her no talking rule was still in effect. Due to this, Darius had to form his own conclusions based on what he knew and what he could see so far.

From the topā€¦ I went to bed in my apartment wearing my gym clothes, which I'm still wearing. Now, when I woke up, I was in the woodsā€¦ in this place. Oh and my bed was with me too, but nothing else from my room...

Okay, then there's the fact that there are twoā€¦ Not one, but TWO moons in the sky and that there is this giant green lady that I figure identifies as an orc leading me to god knows whereā€¦ So does that mean I'm in a videogameā€¦ maybe a movieā€¦ Main character mysteriously wakes up in a different world, makes an unlikely ally, and faces a dude known as the Dark Lordā€¦ BUT then it turns out he is the only one who can send me back to my world! Dun dun dunnnn!

If it's like a videogame, I have to level up by fighting small guys, do some missions, and then I'll face the Dark Lord. But if it's like a movie, I'll get a quick training montage with some epic music. It could be like that scene in Mulan... "How could I make a man out of youuuuu!"

Darius smirked as he looked at Skar and imagined her singing the musical number. It would sound awful, but be worth hearing at the same time.

Then I would beat the Dark Lord. Roll creditsā€¦ But then the stinger will reveal that he's still alive or has a son that follows me back to my world! Man, I'm fucking boredā€¦. But at least I kind of get what might be happening hereā€¦ I think.

"Humanā€¦ Merchant elves ahead. Stay... unseen. Dismount and hide in bush. I will find you after good deal is made." Skar halted Peacemaker by simply placing her open palm on the boar's snout. Skar looked to her right, from the dirt path and sniffed twice to make sure that the scent of nothing dangerous was not lurking. The Illuminata Kingdom was known for having a vast amount of creatures, and she didn't need any of them eating her investment. She motioned her head in the direction she was facing. "Over there."

"I should have known there were elves here too. And I'm still wanted so, I guess I just wait a bit off to the side of the road." Darius said in disappointedly as he plopped down off of Peacemaker and walked off the path. He took a moment to looked to Skar one more time. The orc simply turned away and urged her boar to move with her down the path. "Well, fuck you too." Darius continued walking off the path until he found a small clearing that looked like suitable temporary hidy-hole. "I guess I just take a seat somewhereā€¦ like this patch of grass. Aaaandā€¦ Man, I'm tired." He yawn the last bit. Darius' body was finally coming down from the adrenaline rush he received earlier during the chase. He took a seat on the grass before lying on his back and looking to the night sky. The sky was filled with more stars than he was used to. At least this place looks nice. If only I had my camera though... "Maybe I fall asleep, I'll wake up back homeā€¦ shit, I hope soā€¦ Skar is cool and all, but I feelā€¦... I feel like she mightā€¦ā€¦ kill meā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ Nah." And with those last few ramblings, Darius was out.

Revealing himself (finally) Kyran had grabbed the human from the blast of magic which in retrospect had been important. Obviously Risa was Dionaea's priority in the heat of the moment, but Kyran made sure he was always the hero, and always the voice of reason. Dia wanted to express her annoyance with his timing, "Yes mother." she growled as if the two didn't know of the troubles they had faced today. Steadying Risa at her side she looked to the dark elf as Risa spoke to him. She was brave and noble. Risa began to move forward, her strength obviously weakened from using all of her power on trying to heal the human before them. Dia moved up next to Risa for support both physically and mentally. "She's right. There will be others, and you will regret the day you threatened us!" she spoke boldly, though her blue eyes held great fear.

The human rose from Kyran's grasp and began to yell incoherently. It was now confirmed that they had received the broken one. Just their luck. Puzzled by his expressions but impressed with his bravery the young fairy watched him as he yelled out what she assumed was a magical chant from his world. "Deus vult?" she spoke the words softly enough to not be heard from anyone else from her own lips, wondering if it harnessed any power in Avalia. It fell flat. Dia pursed her lips in frustration, she would not be trying human vocal tricks again.

Another human vocal trick rang, a scream- this time female.

The young one's eyes darted directly to the source. She was not fan of loud noises, and this noise was ear shattering. Was she a forest banshee of the night? The stories her parents had told her to forbid not to sneak out at night. Could they have been true all along? The smell however gave this away, familiar but different. She reeked like the broken one, albeit sweeter. "Another human!" Dionaea exclaimed, in the midst of watching the dark elf be thrown by the fauna below them, a style of fighting she had seen plenty back home. This commotion angered the dark elf as he sent his pack to attack. Dionaea could hear their angry voices, a muddled noise of anger and confusion. They did not want to speak to her, nor reason with her, they were too far gone.

A call of warning came from the human she deemed the sweet one as the wolf came even closer, causing her to dig into her pouch that clung to her hip for an answer. She looked to the human with desperate eyes, and the human returned the devastating gift of fire. Fire to fairies could be beautiful and alluring but usually was used to destroy the beauty they spent so much time growing and conserving. A gasp escaped from her lips and the wolf was singed by the fire, letting out a cry in distress. Dia looked to the human as she swept up and away in the grasps of a brethren of forest fairy.

Distracted momentarily the wolf nipped at Dia's bare leg, his teeth sinking into her skin with enough force to cause her to yelp as she used her other foot to kick the wolf directly in his snout with all her remaining strength. "We have to get out of here, now!" she cried out to her friends, as she looked to the floor below her. The fire was spreading quickly in the dry field and the smoke was rising just as quickly.

"You can prepare now O'Ner." Aklenroth said to his general dismissing him. "Welcome, daughter I would like you to go play nice with the humans for now. Learn about them and who they are." He told her, squeezing his boney fist. "I have bigger plans for everything." He said whilst reaching into his pocket and taking out what looked to be a very old gold key with a crystal in it."Also, Sakura darling, I have a gift for you." Aklenroth gently grabbed her arm. "This is for a life or death situation." He burned a rune into her skin with the key but it had caused no pain. "If you ever need my support, I will be there just call my name. I will be able to appear anywhere you are, I trust you will not misuse this." Aklenroth let her arm down "Now I must prepare, you as well." He said as he turned and headed towards his war chamber.

Soruklithbaal landed, roaring as loud as it could reaching deafening levels. The beast began spewing blue flame around the surrounding forest, setting it ablaze. He looked down at the three and released a deep growl and let out a blast of flame pointed directly at them. He rushed downward through trees, his head moving back and forth as fire blazed toward them, smoke swirling into the sky.

____________________________________________________________________________

When the Winged Hussars arrived, they were thirty feet from the lines of the Ottomans. Their lances couched as the were prepared to break the lines and shatter the siege of Vienna. But a small black orb slowly rotated in front of the charge and the horses spread out, a few of the ottomans falling into the trap. As well as the Head of the spear point, Grzegorz of Clan Kur.

The three men exited their journey in the middle of a city. One of the men getting cut down before they reached the stone. The last ottoman turned and held a hand out as a heavy wind came from the Ottoman footman who was trying to run away.

"Witch!" He yelled before the lance went through the next man and he planted him in the ground as he looked around him, not really caring for the moment before he looked up at what was around him. A city, not Vienna, but a city. He pulled the lance from the mans back before pointing it one of the guards. "Where in the hell am I?" he commanded before not getting an answer and a confused look.

Then he noticed that these weren't normal people, these weren't people at all. They were half of people, or even less then half.
He whipped his horse forward as he stared in front of him, he must find a way out of the city, this place was full of demons and monsters.

O'Ner Faister

O'Ner bowed his head to his master and left the area where they stood, Returning to his room summoning Fillip who rushed in. "What do you need boss?" The skeleton was saluting O'Ner which the general felt annoyed by. "Get me my armor, my sword, and fetch Tulip" Of course Tulip was his trustworthy steed. A large black horse with hollowed out black eyes, It's teeth were molded into a almost snarl, However Tulip when not helping O'Ner ride off towards his victims. The horse lived a quite pleasurable life living in a comfortable stable. Being feed by O'Ner and bonding with him on leisurely rides outside, O'Ner loved Tulip and Tulip reciprocated the feelings back in her own way. Although lately Fillip was feeding Tulip which didn't worry him, And he thought it would be nice for those two to bond. And Luckily for him most people knew her as Tu and not Tulip which would really undermine him.

Fillip came rushing back handing O'Ner his sword and armor which Fillip helped O'Ner put on, Afterwards Tulip slowly made her way into the room. "Hello again" O'Ner spoke softly for her to hear him, Tulip gently nuzzled and licked his face boney face while he was petting her head. Noticing that Fillip was staring at him which made the large skeleton cough loudly. "You forgot something Fillip" O'Ner was pointing to the missing saddle on Tulips back. "Oh no i'm so sorry my lord, I will fetch it right away" Fillip ran back out of the room and returned moments later with the saddle.

O'Ner put the saddle on Tulip's back and walked her to where he was suppose to meet with Sakura, He was not looking forwards to being with her. But hopefully he wouldn't notice and he would be back in his library reading his favorite book, About a lusty fairy maid and her demi-human master.

Cade returned the humanā€™s smile, delighted that she had accepted his price. The thought of many stories from another world told by stranger whose kind hadnā€™t set foot in Avalia in a full century was sure to be a truly novel experience, but now was not the time for stories now was the time to make sure the human was safe from the Lich. His ears twitched as Korvash growled and his eyes caught the movement of the orc as he reached for his weapon. He tensed in anticipation of a fight with the orc, and his weight shifted to the balls of his feet as he prepared himself to move swiftly. His tail twitched with excitement but as he focused his attention on the orc, Inoriā€™s voice, loud and commanding, startled him slightly raising the hackles from shoulders to tail. Bright red chains enveloped the orcā€™s massive arm. This was not the kind of magic Cade was used to seeing, unlike what he had seen the elves or fairies do, this was demonā€™s magic and he realized he wasnā€™t entirely sure what demons were capable of doing. He knew he had underestimated Inori; this small creature could not physically over power an orc but was able and willing to use magic to control Korvash. Although he still saw the orc as an enemy, he also felt a small bit of sympathy for the creature to have his will suppressed and controlled by a lesser creature. Incidences like this were why Cade didnā€™t care for magic; he saw it as unearned power certain races happened to be born with, that allowed things like a fragile bag of bones to rule an entire land or a four-foot demon to control a beast twice his size.

As the orc left, Cade wondered if they were now left with the more unsavory member of the duo. At least with an orc you knew what you were getting and what they were capable of, with this demon he wasnā€™t so sure. Cade had though Inori seemed honorable when he offered to help the human, but his willingness to control the orc with magic troubled Cade, as did the hint of threat in his voice as he dared to scold Cade for what he saw as childish outburst, and the realization that he was sure exactly the extent of the demonā€™s abilities. But against his instinct he had promised to help the human, and if the demon possessed such power it would be in her best interest to have that power around as there was enough danger with the Lich King as an enemy already. He also felt the need to keep an eye on Inori should he betray the human as well, he would have to go against his instincts to give the human her best chance at staying safe. What worse was that he was going to have to play nice with demon, swallow his pride and let the demonā€™s remarks go, at least for now. Cade forced himself to relax his posture, no longer in a fighterā€™s stance, although his tail continued to twitch, ever so slightly, with annoyance.

ā€œApologize, Inori, perhaps I have had too much ale tonight.ā€ He said, his tone very close to sincerity. ā€œCan we trust that Korvash is not on his way to sell us all out to the Lich right now?ā€ He asked, wondering how strong a sway the demon held over the orc. Surly the king would offer some sort of reward for this information and he placed no trust in orc loyalty.

Risa stared in astonishment for a moment as the human seemed to summon a shield and sword made out of the earth itself. It was true! Humans did possess powerful abilities. There was hope. She did not quite understand what he was going on about but it sounded honorable. He seemed to have a very heroic and brave personality. Perhaps they had lucked out with him. A wall of chevron appeared in the way and Risa craned her neck, glancing up at its height in awe. He had yelled some strange words that had also confused Dionaea, prompting her to repeat them. Risa liked the sound of his words. "Oooh. Deus Vult! Yeah!" She cheered, having no idea what she was saying.

"You are doing amazing, hun!"She encouraged Jean, "I know this must be all so scary so please be proud of yourself."

Xenelith had seemed less than pleased with Risa's words and was ready to strike her for them. Dionaea joined at her side, boldly standing up to the elf. She never gave up and the two of them often encouraged each other to be positive even in the worst situations. She was doing so great and Risa was very proud of her friend. Everyone was being so courageous. Risa was a bit jealous. There was no use lying to herself. She was growing fearful. Her vision was doubling as if she had been drinking in Roshmi. The fatigue felt like a boulder weighing her down. Not only was there a human here, but Kyran and Dionaea were both present. She cared about them so much and she was not sure she could heal them right now if they needed, or even help defend them. However, she kept a stoic face. If they caught on to her certainty slipping, theirs would also and it would risk them all even more.

She had been about to flinch, feeling a bit too weak to throw herself out of the way of Xenelith's oncoming attack when he seemed to get distracted. A female voice screamed bloody-murder, making Risa stumble in surprise. She glanced over at the speaker. It was another human. The poor girl was terrified! Risa wanted to move over to aid her but she didn't want to leave Dionaea, Kyran and the rock-summoning human.
Risa noticed roots attacking the dark elf and sending him into a tree. For a moment, she had assumed it was Dionaea but then she noticed another fairy. It was a male fairy and she recognized him. People had pointed out his peculiar appearance often.

The elf whistled and wolves emerged, causing Risa to backtrack. "It doesn't have to be this way. Why can't we just talk a little more?" She tried to reason with the elf uselessly, her violet eyes wide. She did not get to see where the wolves were going before one was tackling her to the grass. She hit the ground, her vision blackening for a split second from the impact. Her eyes fluttered open to the sight of a snout in her face and loud growling, drool nearly spilling from between his very sharp teeth.

Sweet creature, I don't want to hurt you. Please have mercy.

Risa swallowed heavily. It felt as if she had just swallowed an entire rock. She was frozen with fear and too weak to properly think. She truly did hate to hurt animals. She saw the wolf biting Dionaea out of the corner of her eye and inhaled in fear. She began to creep back on her elbows, adrenaline coursing through her veins. She tried to jump to her feet but animal grabbed onto her thigh, giving her a pretty deep bite. A cry of pain escaped her lips but the attention of both her and the wolf was stolen by another voice. "Look out!" Risa heard the voice of the female who had just had screamed. Flames seemed to cover the fur of the wolf out of nowhere, distracting it enough for him to let go of her. She took the opportunity to scramble to her feet, thankful to the kind girl. Risa swore to repay her and help the girl but it seemed like the other male fairy was aiding her.

Pain shot up her thigh and she felt blood trickle down leg under her skirt. She tried to pay it no mind as she fixated her gaze on Dionaea, thankfully finding that she had dealt with her attacker. She could not quite see how Kyran was fairing. She felt her knees crumble as she found herself back in the grass. The wolf probably would attack her soon again once it recovered. Trying to fly would probably result in her crash-landing approximately one minute after taking off. She could hear Dionaea, urging them to leave but she was sure she'd faint any moment now. "I'm so sorry, Dionaea. You may have to retreat without me. " She started to cough, smoke masking her vision as she became aware of the fire spreading to the grass around them, "Please help the others escape! I'll be alright."

Corvina

Time: Past Midnight
Location: Forest of the peninsula of the Sun Elf Village
Interaction: @Inertia @Tae @AliveFalling

The man she had traveled with through the rift with and from earlier had introduced himself as Rei. She ggave him a thumbs up and replied with, "Nice to meet you, Rei. I'm Corvina, but Cora works too." She paused as he spoke, then smiled and accepted he handkerchief. She began to dab at her face and wipe it off gracefully. Afterwards, she tended to her head and dabbed it. "Thank you, I appreciate your help." She followed his gaze to the newcomer who was clearly not human. She swallowed hard and watched her intently despite her aching head and tilting vision. She took depe, calming breaths and tried to ease her racing heart and mind. She wondered if she had managed to sleep that night, would she be in this mess?

Corvina listened to the women speaking while holding a hand to her head to staunch the bleeding. She was applying pressure with one hand and dabbing at the blood with Rei's handkerchief. Quite a long way from home? No kidding. This was real, right? How hard had she hit her head? She looked around at the new landscape. This was definitely not on Earth. Where they were though was beyond her. Feeling ill and unbalanced, Cora scooted up against a tree for support to ease herself: her vision was tilting forward and backwards. She couldn't help but wonder if she had another concussion. The last injury she had needed, especially with what happened to her a year ago. God, was there even a doctor here to assess her and treat her?

The woman, Kenia, interrupted her reverie which Cora found as a blessing. Her eyes kept closing and she had to keep prying them open. She listened intently to her words and watched as Kenia took out some leaves. Cora's eyes widened as she looked at them. Mint leaves, exactly what she needed. She took them gracefully, still unable to speak. Cora wasn't sure how she was staying awake: the heaviness in her head and the aching in her temples, her tilting vision... She began to chew the leaves as instructed, not second guessing Kenia. The woman was cleaning her head wound which Cora found nonthreatening. Clearly this woman wasn't going to harm them, or yet at least. It would have been easier to kill her off first than her companion.

As Cora listened to her story, she found herself reeling even more. It was definitely something out of Narnia or roleplay, even a children's story; except there was something worse to it. She knew there was a few details left out judging by Kenia's tone. As her nausea and headache began to settle, Cora pried her eyes open as wide as she could. A loud roar caused her to jump and then glance upwards. A dragon; except this one was bony and skeletal. Was this world explanation real or had she fallen into hell?

"Well, I'll be damned," Cora mused with a snort of laughter and glanced at Rei with wide-eyes. There was terror and amazement in her eyes and tone, despite her derisive laughter. Her mind went to humor to cope with the situation. "A dragon, ah yes because why not? Dragon Tales from Hell, am I right?" She began to scramble to her feet, her dizziness and nausea now returning to remind her she was still injured. No, there was no time for this now. Their lives were in imminent danger. She wanted to go home now. She had seen enough. Still unwell, Cora gritted her teeth and stumbled into Rei and cltuched his arms. Her wide eyes glanced up into his, his words causing her to laugh nervously. This was insane. "Sorry, I'll move - one second. I can't see..."

Cora gripped the tree behind her as Kenia threw herself in front of them and ordered them to run. As Cora released her grip on Rei and began to stumble away, the dragon released a tirade of blue flames at them. Her eyes widened and she whirled around to find herself behind the two now, but the others in danger. No matter why they were here, these two were in trouble and Corvina couldn't stand the idea of letting innocent people be hurt. Kenia was obviously not a threat also, and they needed her. Despite the physical circumstances and her concussion, she knew that letting them be torched was not only horrible, but counterproductive to achieving her goal of getting the hell home.

The forest was on fire around them, causing smoke to rise and fill the vicinity. Within minutes, it would become impossible to escape. Cora thought fast: she drew in a quick breath with trepidation, then pulled Rei and Kenia out of the way. Cora quickly moved out of the way of the flames as well. The world spun around her as she too quickly for her conscious mind to grasp. She felt a rush of helplessness and fury at their situation.

Unexpectedly, flames shot out of her hands at the dragon. Cora expected to feel horrendous burning, the scent of burning flesh and her life flashing before her eyes. Instead, Corvina felt nothing. "Uh," Cora glanced down to find her hands engulfed in flames without the pain or flesh burning. Was she seeing right? "Am I the only one seeing this or are my hands slowly going to start cooking, Kenia?"

_________________________________________________________

Upon hearing a scream he turned to see a really short angel with wings take flight to a beautiful woman. Wait angels can't be short, wait why is everyone short. There are wolves, a demon with... Fox fur, demon. A panther on top of the wall, that soon to be pelt better not break a bone while landing. And why is someone taking the only other human, oh another dead guy at her feet.

"DEUS VULT!" He yelled out as his wolf attacked, he took the wolf to his shield before bashing it away to the side preparing for the panther as if pounced having it land upon his sword as be soon bad to drop to one knee. Before leaving the beast wounded in front of him as he pushed it forwards towards the wall..

"In the name of God release that maiden!" He yelled as the short birdman left and his body went into a tumble with a wolf as he was pushed atop another.

"DEUS VULT!" He yelled as his sword went flailing and the ground began to shake as he was growing angry with frustration. "Leave us beasts of Satan!"

He stared down at the panther as the ground shook harder, "I will cut you down too in the name of God, I WILL SLAY ALL OF YOU, FLEE beasts of Satan!." He yelled out as he moved to the nearest arbitrary fairy to his person to release them by smashing the side of the wolf attacking with his armored leg.

"Flee in the name of God, creatures of this forest flee... Winged dwarves form upon me and he will survive!." He yelled out

"There is little reason to worry about him," Inori began, tapping dainty claws against the shape of his arms, as they remained crossed over a slender chest. Crimson eyes maintained a constant gaze into the dark forest, though Korvash' disappearance had long since faded from the demon's mind. One could not blame Inori for maintaining a demon's stance, his opinion on the creature which had remained at his side lacking the care others would perhaps have afforded it.

With that in mind, Inori was not heartless. Indeed, Korvashā€™ was not entirely correct in placing the title of ā€˜Slaverā€™ on the demon. Inori never shackled the orc to strip him of freedom, but rather to temper outbursts and savage behaviour in the face of civilized company. Of course, it was not a stretch to draw the conclusion that Korvash considered this the role of a taskmaster.

Considering the nature of demons, Inori was likely on the more trustworthy side, and he was indeed trustworthy, until the point of differing desires on an excitingly expectant outcome.

"The orc is not one for such gain," Inori continued. He was aware of Korvash' behavior, and the man's established ideals. It was a petty creature, without question, but one of juvenile pursuits. He would sooner seek a battle than approach the lich king for promised rewards.

The creature of bone rarely offered such benevolence, even if pursuits for payment was the case. Of this much, Inori was aware. There was little reason to maintain the moral standing of others when their death rendered them an equally valuable resource.

"We ought to seek shelter," the demon stated. His contract previously accepted for a group of gnolls appeared as little more than a distant flare, slowly fading into a trail of smoke in the wake of larger displays. A human had appeared, and her arrival indicated more. A single hairless wow could not possibly have arrived in Avalia, without a larger number of her kin making themselves known throughout the world.

"The city is close, as are the elven borders," Inori explained, his soft voice falling into a more bitter state at the mention of elves. They were creatures of light, and he was a being of darkness. However, if there was a group of do-gooders on Avalia, willing to aid a human guest, it would surely have been them.

Time: Early morning/Late night.
Location: Forest near Sun Elf Kingdom
Interactions: Cadence @Helo and Inori @Shard.

What would happen in a second would make Ayita really shocked. She could understand why Cade didn't like Korvash calling him a kitty, and the tension between both were undoubtedly... palpable. But she would have never expected that Korvash would react like that to when Cade growled towards him... In hindsight, she probably should have expected such a big musclehead to react that way though...

Letting out a large, aggressive growl of his own, Korvash reached for his sword in response to Cade's actions, a hulking piece of steel with it's size comparative to Korvash's own. Almost the very second his hands wrapped around his blade's worn handle though, Inori's voice echoed as he swiped his claws through the air, making strange red chains appear from the ground, wrapping themselves around a helpless Korvash, preventing him to even draw his sword properly.

In a rather cruel display of power, Inori made the chains visibly squeeze Korvash's arm, pulling it further away from his sword, despite the green giant's protests. Although it appeared that they weren't really harming Korvash, Inori was clearly humiliating the green giant with his words. Seeing himself unable to get free from Inori's strange chains, Korvash finally gave up struggling against them. It was incredibly clear both on Korvash's eyes and his words that he wasn't satisfied with Inori's actions, something he made clear when he said he wouldn't be Inori's 'slave' anymore, walking away.

Presentiating such exchange, Ayita simply looked at both of them. While that made Inori's unwilingness to fight clear, it also made it clear that he was a very cold and whimsical creature, not sparing even his own underling when it went against his desires. Even though it made Ayita feel a bit safer nearby him for now, it only made it even clearer that blindly trusting Inori might be a terrible idea...

As he further developed in his previous explanations, he mentioned that most humans were able to use elemental powers in Avalia, saying that Ayita herself would discover her own powers with time. What Ayita herself didn't like that much to hear though was when he said that those powers often manifested themselved either in traumatic situations or dangerous ones... Maybe Inori's mischievous smirk made those words even more unnapealing in Ayita's ears, but there was no mistake to what he had said.

"Shouldn't you go after him...?" Ayita asked, looking to Inori with wary eyes.

"He was your... underling, wasn't he?" she asked. While she didn't think that the word 'ally' would fit with Korvash and Inori's relationship, she had her doubts that 'underling' was any better.

After apologizing by what happened earlier, Cade brought another question worth thinking about... Korvash said he wouldn't be Inori's slave anymore... and it was clear by his own words and actions that he wasn't really that keen on the idea of being seen with a human. Now that he had nothing more to do with Inori though, nothing prevented him to sell them to the lich king, both their location and existence. In another hand, Ayita was somehow glad to know that she wasn't the only one that didn't trust Inori. While the information and help he had would be valuable for her, much like Cade apparently did, she didn't consider him as a long-term ally... At least not yet.

"He does have a good point. If this Aklenroth really is that powerful, if he knew of our presence, it would make things much worse for us... or better... for me, right?" Ayita asked, looking both at Cade and at Inori. Despite them having agreed to help her, she knew that despite that, they didn't really HAVE to help her.

After tranquilizing them regarding Korvash's actions, insisting that there was no need to worry about him, Ayita ended up believing his word, after all, Inori did spend a lot of time with Korvash and knew his personality. Nonetheless, even if he wasn't really going to sell them, Ayita doubted that if someone interrogated him or asked him, he wouldn't simply tell them about Ayita...

"Agreed. It is indeed getting late..." Ayita said after Inori suggested them that they should find shelter.

"Knowing that humans are... not exactly welcome by this Aklenroth, wouldn't it be dangerous to go to a city?" Ayita asked, still largely oblivious to the existence of all the different races in Avalia and the conflict between the 'darker' races such as demons, orcs & etc and the 'light' ones such as fairies, elves & etc.
