"A man often meets his destiny on the very road he takes to avoid it."
Eobard's a man who has all the answers. The personification of "I've seen this movie before." He's the oldest iteration the character's ever been through, he's the amalgamation of every version of himself, the CW, the comics and the cartoons and animated movies. He's lived it all, in one shape or form. A man who had nothing new left to experience in life.
He's a predator who caught it's prized prey, finally. And with it, he lost his purpose. Now, he's motivated by survival and his own ego. Competing against the ghost of the Fastest Man Alive. And in this most human of motivations, maybe he'll find a new purpose.

I'm looking to explore him blurring the line between the pretender and the hero. An Eobard who starts to believe that he's the good guy- not just wearing the red tights for his own survival. How the most murderous man in history tricks himself into thinking he's absolved of his sins and then eventually having to face the fact that redoing Barry's steps doesn't give him redemption. His past mistakes coming back, and him being absolutely certain that he's able to outsmart and outrun them.

S E A S O N O N E S Y N O P S I S:
Thawne won.
He won.
And the universe would feel his wrath, now that nobody could stop him. He had so many plans. But then, like a spotlight hooked up to a failing generator, he ran out of power. He stole Barry's lightning, following the murder of Barry's future self. In doing so, he undid the Flash who could stop him, and made sure Barry would never become his nemesis.
Things were going his way, until they didn't. The timeline was eating itself up, the paradox was created and the Speedforce was falling in on itself. The negative speed force had collapsed, and there was nowhere left for Thawne to run. He was forced to put on the mask of the man he hated most, and carry his legacy.
Thor has been around far longer than many in the Galaxy, a member of the race known as the Asgardians he lives on the mythical realm of Asgard, a flat mass that floats among the stars. Defying physics as most know it. Asgard is one of eight realms within a separate dimension from the normal space-time of the universe. Alfheim, Helheim, Jotunheim, Muspelheim, Nidavellir, Svartalfheim, Vanaheim. All these worlds are connected by Yggdrasil, the world tree that also binds them to the ninth realm, Midgard. Midgard is known as 'Earth' to the locals, and unbeknownst to them is surrounded by these eight other realms.
Many years ago Midgard was a battleground as invading forces tried to seize control of the World Tree. In the end it was Odin and his army of Asgardians who brought peace to the nine realms, Asgard placing itself in charge of the nine realms and all the worlds within it. Causing peace for centuries, they have a truce with the other eight realms that peace will remain so long as no-one travels to the realm of Midgard.
Thor remembers those days fondly, battling with Jotuns on Midgard with the mortals at his side. In the days before he was worthy of the mighty hammer Mjolnir the war-axe of Jarnbjorn carved its way through many a Jotun. As peace was finally restored, and the treaty brokered Thor left the axe behind on Midgard as a testament to what was, and a promise that despite the treaty should the people of Midgard ever be in peril that he would return. In more recent days he has spent his time patrolling the eight other realms within the purview of the Asgard, though as his most trusted friend Heimdall tells him of the chaos that takes place on Midgard he longs to return to the place of battles past.
As his elder brother, Loki prepares to protect Asgard with Odin readying to enter the Odin sleep Thor senses a sinister plot that would destroy Asgard and all her people. As unrest spreads throughout the nine realms he must discover the root of this plot and destroy it, lest it brings about Ragnarok and the end of time.
C H A R A C T E R M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S:
I've always been a fan of the idea of various mythologies and their presence in the comic book world, especially when it involves bringing in Gods. Thor is such a strong character but there's a real weight to him, especially as he grows and evolves. Despite his age this Thor (like we first see him in the MCU) is still a man coming into his own, which is where he is in development in regards to his respective age anyway. Thor is arrogant, but he cares and its a very interesting dynamic to play where he is aloof and likes to be high and mighty and yet he wants to make sure everyone is okay.
My intentions are for Thor to grow as a character, that could maybe one day be King of Asgard, and hero to the people of Midgard and all the nine realms as he isn't quite there yet. I want to show him grow, where he comes to realize that there are more ways to solve a problem than merely punching, kicking and hitting things with a hammer. This is a Thor that is worthy, but as of yet he doesn't know the right reasons why.
How the Nine Realms work: The Nine Realms are extra-dimensional to Earth, systems that exist with Earth as a Central point. There are other planets/worlds within these realms, though they are smaller than the Galaxy at home. While the Bifrost is the may way connecting these realms, there are other more dangerous paths.

Coming Storm - The Dwarves of Nidavellir send out a distress call as an unknown object from the depths of their realm heading towards their world. They have called for help, the Prince of Thunder is only too happy to oblige. Fall of Asgard - As Odin enters the Odinsleep Thor must travel to Midgard.
Heimdall - Heimdall is charged with control of the Bifrost, and can see all which transpires through the nine realms. Thors most trusted ally. Warriors Three - Hogun the Grim, Fandral the Dashing and Volstagg the Lion of Asgard. A group of noble warriors gathered by Thor to fight for the safety of the nine realms. Lady Sif - Lady Sif was nought but a maiden, until she grew the attention of Thor. Wishing to be a warrior the Prince gave her a chance when no-one else would, he has often suspected that there is some form of bond between them. Loki Laufeyson - Eldest son of Odin, adopted by Odin from the battlefield of Jotunheim. He brokers the peace between Asgard and Jotunheim, trusted advisor to Odin, future King and Thors inspirational older brother. Amora the Enchantress - Former love of Thors. A most powerful enchantress. Odin - The Allfather. King of Asgard, protector of the nine realms. Frejya - Thors mother, god from Vanaheim who married Odin as a union was made between Asgard and Vanaheim. While their marriage was officially to unite the two realms, they are truly in love.

"Brother, heed mine council. Do not linger on thoughts of Midgard, nor on the mortals who reside there. We will be most diligent in our duty to protect Asgard and the other seven realms." Thor had to use all self-control to prevent himself from rolling his eyes at his older brother. Loki may have been next in line to be king, and have the ear and trust of Odin however he did not understand. The world of Midgard was at the centre of the nine realms, should it fall then the entire tree of life was at risk. Ragnarok would truly be upon them, and yet as it tore itself apart no-one on Asgard made moves to protect it.
"Nay Brother. I swore an oath to protect all of the nine realms, I shalt not shirk from mine responsibility." Thor turned, his cape billowing behind him as he left the gold gilded hall. The weight of Mjolnir at his hip, he could swear the weapon seemed heavier than it had been previously. He told himself it was the inaction, the peace was brought about by war thousands of years ago. The only authority the Jotuns of Jotunheim,the demons of Muspelheim and dark elves off Svartalfheim understood was the authority of power. He would be the one to show them that power if no-one else would.
Pushing open the large doors to the throne room, Odin and Frejya looked up in surprise as Thor stormed his way into the room. "Father! I would have words with thee!"
Frejya approached him, as if moving to speak however his father slammed the base of his staff down on the ground and she stopped. "Thor, what business dost thou have to barge in here?" His voice boomed, as if rattling around the inside of his skull.
Thor approached the throne, kneeling down on the ground at the base of the stairs to the throne. "Father, I beseech thee. Allow me to travel to Midgard, the influences of evil art upon it. Should Midgard fall, the other eight realms will be in peril." He kept his head lowered as a sign of respect to the old fool.
"Do thee forget your place son of mine? Midgard is off no importance, let the mortals fight among themselves. Thy place is here in Asgard. Focus not on Midgard, but of the other seven realms that need thy protection. Thy brother shall ensure nay lasting harm comes to Midgard." Odin stood and walked down the steps to his younger son, each step seemed to reverberate around the hall. "Thou are impatient, doth not forget thy station. Thou shalt go where instructed, and act out the will of the Throne, not fulfill any personal bloodlust or quest for glory.
Thor stood. "Father..."
"Nay!, Bid me Thor, how does Mjolnir feel against thy hip? I bethink thee may not be as worthy as thee once were. Remember what I did teach thee mine own son, lest thee lose thy way. Anon wend, Heimdall hast a job for thee. Thor stood, his fists clenched as his father turned and walked back up the stairs to his throne. Without so much as looking at his son. Thor stood up and turned, leaving the hall. As he did so he caught a glimmer of green in the corner, which vanished as soon as he looked towards it.
Loki came towards him as he saw him. "Brother..."
Thor just held up his hand as he stormed past. He was in no mood for Lokis twisted words with their many meanings. No, now he was in the mood for action.

One part doomsday prophecy, one part police procedural and a whole lot of supernatural horror. The idea I'm approaching here follows a strugglingANGELwho has left his past behind seeking redemption and a purpose in the nights of Los Angeles. As this is primarily based on the 1999 television series following the character of the same name, I'd like to also include characters and ideas from bothLUCIFER, which happens to also be set in Los Angeles, andiZOMBIE, another of DC's television titles. Though in the case of iZombie, I'd like to adapt more elements from the graphic novels than the television series due to the supernatural creatures and tones which appear in the former and not the latter.
My plans for the overarching story are hinged on the character of Rachel Roth, or as she's more commonly referred,RAVEN. My story starts with the impending arrival of Raven's 18th birthday, the birthday when she's to be wed toBROTHER BLOOD. Their union was prophesized to open the way for Raven's father,TRIGONto enter into the world. Learning of this plot, Raven flees her home and will eventually come across Angel who reluctantly takes the girl under his protection but not without some persuasion fromTHE POWERS THAT BE.
Outside of the overarching plot dealing with Trigon's return to Earth, my stories will focus on the more supernatural side of comics, drawing characters and creatures from Marvel, DC and of course the Buffyverse. As with the television series, many of the smaller stories will focus on Angel and Raven finding themselves either in the middle of or enlisted to find and stop a supernatural creature or being.
† C H A R A C T E R M O T I V A T I O N S & G O A L S:
Angel, the primary protagonist, is motivated by his search for redemption. A vampire cursed with a soul, he feels immeasurable remorse for the centuries of murder he carried out. For me, this is a great jumping off place, he's a character literally burdened to be a hero whether he wants to or not. Angel genuinely can not help himself from getting involved in a situation where he believes he can accomplish good. He's the atoner, and unlike Batman, he's an actual vampire. A true terror in the nght.
Raven on the other hand is motivated by survival and a need to deny her birthright. She's the picture of teenage rebellion but it's done out of self-preservation. She doesn't want to be a bride to insane cult leader and she doesn't want to unleash hell on Earth. Pairing her with Angel grants her protection and allows Raven to use her unique abilities to aid in protecting Los Angeles from the supernatural and paranormal.
For me as the writer, I'm looking forward to writing in the supernatural again. I really want to work out a way to make Angel an essential part of Absolute's universe which includes bringing him and Angel into contact with other characters. This doesn't even necessarily need to be limited to characters like Constantine who walk similar paths, characters such as Wonder Woman or Thor also offer a plenty of great potential interactions. Batman himself would also be a lot of fun.
Either way, my overall goal is to deliver an engaging story following Angel and Raven keeping the apocalypse at bay while fighting ghosts, demons, werewolves and all manner of things that go bump in the night of Los Angeles.

Princess Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Queen Hippolyta, was created with clay from Paradise Island and given life thanks to Zeus. Then, she was granted six gifts from the Gods themselves: strength, wisdom, courage, compassion, speed, and flight. Antiope, general of the Amazons, oversaw her training and gave her the tools to survive and fight another day. Her mother taught her everything else, from language to history. She felt content about her life until she learned about Humanity. As the years passed by, Diana grew more curious about humans with every report.
One day, she overheard Antiope and her mother arguing about the doom facing mankind. A great war that will forever change them -for better or worse. Diana tried to make a case that the Amazons should save them. Hippolyta forbade her for speaking about the topic while Antiope watched proudly.
So, she decided to disobey her mother and leave for Man's World. While packing up for the long trip, Antiope knew what she was planning to do and decided to help. Both of them went to the island's only tower and stole the Amazonian battle armor, Amazonian sword, and Themysciran shield. They made their way to the docks, where Hippolyta was waiting for them. She had the Lasso of Hestia and the Bracelets of Aphrodite. Yet, she warned that leaving the island meant exile. With the heart of compassion, Diana made the ultimate sacrifice and got ready to leave.
Before she left, Hippolyta gave her own tiara before saying her goodbyes. Antiope gifted her Achilles' bow for her best student to use in combat. Diana bid farewell and set sail for Man's World. After a few days of traveling, she found her on the coast of France. Steve Trevor, a British-American spymaster, stumbled upon her while on break. Diana told him that she wanted to save mankind from the Great War. But she arrived too late. Steve dismissed her as suffering for heat exhaustion until he was ambushed by assassins.
Diana managed to block a bullet with her bracelets and overwhelmed the threat in seconds. It left Trevor speechless and asked to come and join his task force. She agreed on the idea to end the Great War before it was too late. Together, they took down down high ranking officers from the Central Powers and neutralized Doctor Poison and her poison gas factories. And saved villages from total destruction. Her deeds got the attention of the press, who started naming her: Wonder Woman. Once the war ended, Trevor offered to take Diana on a private tour of Europe and North America.
Unfortunately, they were unable to travel to America before the Nazi threat rose. Hydra and its leader, Red Skull, were also a significant threat once the Second World War began. However, she wasn't alone in the fight. Other superheroes joined in the effort to stop Nazism and defeat Hydra. It included Captain America and other heroes. Despite their efforts, the war proved to be worst than the first in terms of destruction and death. Both sides were bombing cities and killing innocents. Then, Hiroshima and Nagasaki happened. Diana became the first influential critic against nuclear bombs and denounced the bombings. It led her to be labeled as a communist traitor by the American government during the Second Red Scare.
Regardless, she persisted. Diana and Steve got married and moved to Britain. Together, they founded the World Veterans Federation to promote the well-being of veterans, victims of war, and peace worldwide. WVF rose to fame during the Cold War thanks to Wonder Woman repeated calls for the disarmament of nuclear weapons, especially after the Cuban Missile Crisis. Steve Trevor died in 1978 in his sleep. And Wonder Woman wasn't seen fighting bad guys as often. Instead, Diana Prince rose up and became more politically active while promoting her image and WVF across the world.
Wonder Woman made a return after 9/11 to maintain order and peace across the world. Then, Stryfe and his Mutant Liberation Front unleashed chaos. He had managed to frame her for the entire attack before being executed by her former friend, Captain America. After the attack, America went after Wonder Woman and launched a series of investigations. After months of fighting, her innocence was proven, but the damage was already done. To set an example for other heroes, the government ordered Diana to officially retire Wonder Woman. In turn, she was able to remain a free individual with regular check-ins.
With no other options, Diana hesitantly agreed and moved everything to the East Coast. Diana Prince was ready to rebuild. One year later, it seemed like almost everything about her life was back to a sense of normality.

Diana Prince spent a hundred years fighting for humanity from The Great War to the War on Terror. She was already tired of fighting and the suffering it brings. Now with the Stryfe attacks and being blamed for it, she was truly done. Even if the government didn't order Wonder Woman's retirement, she would have thrown the towel regardless. And with a year passing since the incident, she embraced the role of a multi-billionaire along with political activist, retiree, and other things. It's an interesting next step in her life. Inspired by several dozen drama shows and movies. Still gonna focus on the politics and business of the world.
