Adaahna Vanil & Mor'gann Arnhar

Location: Mandalore, Keldabe city, Leaving Cantina

Mor’gaan herded the strange, brawling woman down the street. Her brows furrowed by the worry of what had transpired in the canteen shortly before. The young woman had been hoping that her introduction into the wider existence beyond Dxun would have been quiet. Peaceful. Essentially anything saving what had happened. The blessing of it all had been that she hadn’t had to pay for their food or drink. ”You does fight good.” She noted to Adaahna, in truth she thought the woman was a bit sloppy, but the strange woman had been drinking. Something Mor’gann herself generally stayed away from. There were other things that were more productive she could do. Drinking to dull pain or enjoy herself? It was a senseless and foolish notion. ”No more. Trouble ‘n more no need.” She admonished slightly, though she kept guiding the Togruta. Adaahna understood these people better than her, and Mor’gann was unwilling to lose that advantage until she herself had gained it.

As her new companion kept her moving, Adaahna simply nursed the cuts on her face, “fighting for fun, doesn’t really matter who wins.. As long as nobody starts trouble I won't make any noise.” She ended with a nod to show her agreement, just incase Mor’gann hadn’t understood. Perhaps she’d been too quick to fight with the stranger, but he’d insulted her new friend, and stole drink. “Now perhaps, we should find a way to leave, maybe earn some credits.'' While she spoke aloud, she was unsure if her companion would have any input, seemingly so new to the world outside her home, Adaahnas’ eyes scanning around for any signs of peacekeepers as she hurried along. “The metal.. Thing, you have, what is that?, feels like i’ve seen one before.”

These people and their alien language! Could they not at least try speaking a dialect that was common? Mor’gann pinched the bridge of her nose at her own ignorance and the perceived ignorance of her companion. Letting out a breath, the young shaman looked at the metal cylinder at her waist that Adaahna seemed to be referring to. Tapping it carefully with a finger in question. ”This? Relic.” She answered in her native tongue, not eager to pursue conversation.

Snorting in amusement at what to her was undecipherable language, Adaahna turned to face her companion fully, bringing the motion to a halt. “i can take a hint, you don’t wish to speak. But without a plan of action we may be stuck here. May be valuable to trade with a pilot..” Adaahnas’ face slightly contorted with frustration, primarily at herself for getting them into trouble in the first place, slightly at the stinging cut still irritating her brow whenever her face moved. Clutching her spear a little tighter the Togruta shook her head before letting out a sigh and bowing slightly in apology before half turning to continue walking alongside Mor’gann.

”Credits…” Mor’gann asked suddenly her brow creasing as the woman bowed to her. An action that she found familiar if disconcerting that it was aimed towards her. ”What they?”

What are credits?.. Even Adaahnas’ home tribe used credits, wherever this woman was from must be really REALLY backwater.. ”ah, uhh… Credits.. You can exchange them for goods and services. Trade meats or grains for them, then when you need other things, you do not need to wait for meats and grains to be in season again.” She was somewhat frowning to herself as she tried to reason it out in her head, she wasn’t exactly smart when it came to how the whole thing worked, she mostly just knew that you could trade it for things, and it didn’t go off.

Mandalore, The Citadel
Year Four, After Re-synchronization

"Sena is fine, there is no need to stand on ceremony with me. While I do head the Seer Council, I am just a knight like yourself."

It was rather curious, just the surface thoughts of him and his guards showed clearly the interest in their surroundings, of the Citadel, of her and of the state of the galaxy in general. Seeing his subtle recoil, she reigned herself in a little bit, trying not to be overt with her prying as most did not approve of such things. Even if she really couldn't help it. The response from him was not entirely expected, calling her by her last name and by the title of master. It had her lips pulling into a grin, mischievous and almost devious as she felt the game was truly in play now. This one could truly be interesting to talk to, and she was wondering now what kinds of things he had seen and done while on what was no doubt a variety of adventures across the galaxy. A ring flashed before her sight, her head not moving but her vision adjusting through the force to see the soft glint and the metal indicating… Her thoughts needed direction, connecting the dots one by one as she realized what it meant.

"Ah." Sena said at last, shrugging with indifference. "The current order doesn't trouble itself with such trivialities. In the years since the Shattering the Enclaves have loosened many of the different guidelines of the Jedi Code and for the most part we are free to pursue our path as we wish. With some caveats, of course, but you'll find our order much more welcoming to your kind of personal dalliances on the side."

In truth, if Koren was to look around him and take his surroundings into account it would be exactly as she said. There were more than a few couples being a little more friendly than just acquaintances, though much was tamed down for the sake of public image. Even non-Jedi and Jedi were mingling together, talking amicably and showing that some were family.

"With the decimation of Coruscant, the fall of so many Jedi over the course of the Clone Wars, and the split of our order it had been decreed by Masters Kenobi, Dooku and Jin that there should be the consideration of executive measures. In the past the Order was able to easily recover after massive losses, but that was only because of having the entire Republic to call upon and to recruit force-sensitives from. We did not have that, though there were still neutral worlds contributing and even some from Alsakan space and Corellia on the rare occasion. With that in mind, the decision was ratified by the Council to suspend restrictions on interpersonal relations between Jedi, as well as between Jedi and non-force sensitive people."

"It has done well for us for the most part, and has allowed the Enclaves to integrate more fully with the Grand Republic of Mandalore far more than we ever did with the Republic. Did you know, that the Mand'alor considers us as one of the great clans?"

Fireplan Haran. Cosmic Annihilation. It was certainly a bold play, and one that would need quite the number of personnel and equipment. Ceph knew that much at least, even if the finer points were lost on him. Tactics and strategy were never a strong suit, which would have been quite obvious from the first glace across the broad plate of beskar armor of his chest. Nevermind being one of the officers in the Deathwatch, of being a member of the stealth corps or regularly assigned a rotation at the Calyui'r Manda. His fellows poked fun at that, of him not really being too quick on the draw, but intelligence and cunning had never required traits of the Deathwatch. Reading through the dataslate and the generalized plan, he could at least see the basics of it. They were to execute a swift and decisive strike on the station, inserting several squads from multiple points of entry via boarding torpedo. It was something he could get behind, and not the least because it sounded like it was going to be a brawl from the get go.

Normally such a plan wouldn't have even been considered. Not against a heavily defended station in foreign territory, with a fleet in orbit. There was a considerable bit of resources committed to this effort, all for what was… Oh. Ceph came to a complete stop in the middle of the hall on the first floor, just a ways down from where another visitor had been requested to wait. He knew who this person was, it was rather hard not to. One of the pop stars that his girls loved to listen to, always singing along with her songs and trying to see her concerts. It had been to the point that he had done everything he could to grab tickets to see another one of that group's concert that was being held here in Keldabe proper… And now he was being shipped out, which meant that… Ceph sighed into the helmet, shoulders going lax as he now realized that he would have to clear this with his wife. Despite being literally half his size, the woman was ruthless and especially about the kids.

Yet, his salvation was standing there twenty feet away, humming to herself. The envoy that had just passed him was on his way to see the secretary, but Ceph took one look between them before something truly revolutionary happened. He had an idea.

"Hey, wait up." He called over to the envoy, stopping him for a moment as he came up to speak to the man.

"Yes?"

"You're going up to see the Madam Secretary, yes?"

"Yes, it's for our Corellian guest."

"Would you mind if I took it from here? Not to disrespect your station or anything, but wouldn't it speak to our guest's importance if she had an escort from Deathwatch?"

It was a series of dots connected together, and by Ceph to say the least. The envoy only took a moment to look over the mountain of a man clad in beskar before him, then over to Aroma bel Iblis waiting for either him or word down from Jaessih. Handing the job over to Ceph was pretty much a no-brainer, as it took all the responsibility from him and it was in clear view. Besides, if Deathwatch wanted to handle something, no one really complained about it or tried to argue it.

"Yeah, go right ahead. I'll file things with the office and let them know that you've taken over from here."

All that settled, and he was beside himself almost literally. This was perhaps the chance of a lifetime, and for that one singular moment he felt himself proud to be not only a Mandalorian, but also Deathwatch in order to be at this specific time and place. It did not help that he also rather enjoyed the music, often enough bobbing his head along to the beat while off on patrol or with the kids. As he advanced, all eight and a half feet of Mandalorian striding towards Aroma, there was only one thing he could think of to say as introduction, with all the eagerness of an adoring fan.

"Paff!"

Verra "Solace" Alleron, The Diplomat

Interacting with: Dra'kal Sherom @Lmpkio, Airus Vel Aath @Apollosarcher, Ila'Iri Orini @rusty4297

Mandalore, The Citadel
Year Four, After Re-synchronization

Things had gone from one end of the spectrum to another as emotional rollercoasters tended to do. She had known for a while that her family history was… Troubled in some ways, as in recent history her parents had both been members of the Arkanian Dominion. That had certain ramifications that she was still trying to escape, and had led her to be questioned a little more than others when it came to whether or not she was suitable to undertake the last necessary step to becoming a master of the order. She had all the skills, foremost among them lightsaber capability, and was known as a skilled diplomat and negotiator. Yet she had not taken in a padawan and the discussions around it would certainly not be helped by this revelation. Even if it seemed that her ancestor was a bit different than expected.

"So…" Solace began, waiting for Airus to get what he needed to say out and before the spirit of the holocron could answer his questions. "Not a Sith?"

"No, I was always Sith. Born Sith, raised Sith, and died Sith."

Confusion must have been clear across her face as that answer seemed to contradict everything that Airus had just said. She was rumored to have been the founder and leader of a cult centered around the Empress within the Sith Empire, one consisting of light-sided force users. Even being called directly in several instances as the Empress' Light. Now, that had many different connotations, and she had read of a couple of them once or twice that painted a very different image. Sapphic ones usually. Yet, here she was telling them boldly that she was out and out Sith.

"Before you question further, yes this is my spirit locked within the holocron before you. I found it easier to pass on the knowledge of our ancient house to future generations if I was to place myself in this vessel than to hope that my children would do so. I'm sure you can understand that given the normal policy of the Sith regarding knowledge. However, that does not mean that I practiced the dark side. No, I was one of the few who truly saw the vision of our Emperor, a man who might have united the stars…"

And there she felt something for one fleeting moment, an emotion from the spirit that showed her grief at something in her history. It felt like betrayal, of a moment where her entire world had been shattered and she had been forced to accept a new view of the galaxy.

"It was not to be, as your scholar friend would tell you another time. Instead, I found myself looking to Acina, and devoted myself to helping her guide the Empire to a proper future… One which has clearly been squandered by our descendants and the corpse paraded about as something else entirely."

There her attentions were focused on Dra'kal and the symbology of the room itself, the Imperial logo decorating one wall showing clearly who was meant to be using these chambers. It was an odd coincidence she had to be sure, the resemblance of the Renkar Imperium's icon and that of the old Sith Empire. Or perhaps not, as there was little in the way of knowledge on their inner workings, especially the founding. All most knew is that it came of Admiral Jira Renkar's desire to keep the sector safe from the predations of the Confederacy and not much more. She wondered, and as she did her ancestor spoke again, this time with a little less belligerence and openness towards those other than herself.

"I think you would understand the reasoning behind putting my spirit behind such extensive countermeasures and security protocols, with what I have revealed to you so far. Knowledge that you have only gained because I sense your alignments to each be leaning towards the light, or at least neutral enough that you wouldn't attempt to use what I have for your own gain. Otherwise, you wouldn't have even gained my name or such candid conversation. I will be willing to perhaps have dialogs with you, Airus Vel Aath, but only so long as it is not within the library of your order, that you will not store my holocron alongside darker objects or even in the archives at all, and that permission is given by Verra directly."

Again, there was a lot to take in there, but she supposed there was a prime opportunity at hand. Not just for learning about the inner workings of the Sith Empire, to know what general life was like, to understand the Sith order on a deeper level, or even what Acina was like personally… But for her to know more of her family, and how the Alleron family even came to be in Sith Space to begin with. She could not deny her own curiosity, and that was when she deactivated the privacy shielding, leveling her gaze with Marisena before her.

"I will ask you not to access the databases again, for that is too much of a security risk even if we know your true nature to a better degree."

"Very well, I will only access what is directly permitted."

"Furthermore, I am permitting Airus Vel Aath access pending the Council's approval of my own suggestion that I take custody of this holocron and keep it within my own quarters. Dra'kal, this would sate the agreement the Shadow Council has with the Jedi Enclaves, would it not? As we have taken custody of the holocron already, so it would not matter to you or your masters where it goes afterwards?"

Ila'Ira Orina

Involving: Airus @Apollosarcher, Dra'kal @Lmpkio, Solace @Alfhedil

Ila looked to Airus as he had begun to suggest she help to take the holocron away. She started to wonder if the Sith spirit would try to stop them, whether it could, whether they'd be able to...
'I do not see enemies'
What? Her stance relaxed slightly, not out of reassurance, but out of confusion. This sith spirit, using the dark side with all of the gloomy reds, the stereotypical antithesis of the jedi... doesn't see enemies? This almost made Ila more worried, seeing as her first logical conclusion would be that it thought all of the jedi in the room beneath her. A thought like that didn't bode well, so Ila returned to her readiness to escape or fight.

Quietly, Ila listened to this... neutral sith spirit? It didn't take long for another surprising turn of events to come about. The sith spirit speaking of things it shouldn't have known lead directly into a lot of slamming, the world outside being entirely cut off save from significant effort from the strongest of creatures. She immediately felt claustrophobic, which was strange, since she normally didn't mind enclosed spaces. The whole situation was unnerving to say the least, and now the world outside was nothing but a faint dream. Seeing as her previous comment had been made out of nervous worry, and likely didn't help either, she maintained her silence. The spirit had said it didn't see enemies, so it probably wouldn't attack unprovoked, so she finally truly relaxed her stance. She did ensure to mentally prepare herself to start using battlemind if the need arose, but otherwise tried to simply sink into the background for now.

'Not a sith holocron...'
'No, I was always a sith...'

Ila started to give up understanding the full intricacies of the situation. This ghost was a sith that wasn't an enemy, but also not a sith, just from the empire... it felt like the two sides had an impasse about how they viewed sith, and that wasn't about to change in the next few minutes. Well, that was her thought process until the ethereal being outright said against having practiced the dark side. So... not a sith, just culturally a sith...? Her thoughts to herself abruptly ending with the shielding around the room being removed and her out of the norm claustrophobia faded. She tried to stifle her chuckling at the feeling of relief as everything seemed to calm down at once, but said chuckling was audible, to say the least. "Oh... sorry..." She composed herself quickly before moving over to Airus and whispering "This isn't the kind of sparring I had in mind."

Ceph @Alfhedil

Aroma patiently waited in the lobby, idly pacing back and forth while humming to herself as she updated her various HoloMedia accounts with her datapad. By now, pretty much all of her fans knew she had arrived on Mandalore and she couldn’t help but smile at all the comments about how excited people were for the upcoming concert. After replying to a few of the comments, the pop star began to think about all the food, and possibly even clothes, she would encounter during the festival. Before she lost herself to her imagination, however, her ruminations were interrupted as she heard someone call her stage name.

Upon looking towards the source of the voice, Aroma was met with a beskar wall. In took her a few moments out of confusion before she started to look up, and up, and up, until she was finally looking at the T-visor of the Manda- no, of the Deathwatch member before her. Although the Corellian didn’t know much about the infamous group of Mandalorians, she did know their colors, and she knew of the various rumors and legends that surrounded them.

”O-Oh, hello. Can I help you with something? Are you a fan?” The popstar responded, giving the giant of a man a well-practiced smile even though she was slightly intimidated. Now that she was actually focusing on the man though, she finally realized just how much taller he was compared to her. He was practically double her height, leading the Corellian to wonder just how she hadn’t heard him approach, especially when he was wearing a full set of beskar armor. ’Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention and that’s why I didn’t hear him… But what if he’s just that quiet?... I’ve heard they could take on Jedi too… If the Jedi are like space samurai, does that make the Deathwatch the space ninjas? Their armor is black too…’ Aroma thought to herself, thinking back to the fantasy book she read not too long ago about samurais and ninjas.

Koren Omi-Ren
Jedi Temple // Mandalore

Koren nodded as she began to speak. "Shall we walk?" As the pair started to walk, she continued to speak. The state of the Jedi Order, the Galaxy and the change to the Jedi Order and its rules and conditions. He looked around as they walked and he did notice that some of the Jedi they passed were being slightly more intimate than anything he had experienced in the past. It was still quite reserved, but less so than he had ever seen on the Jedi Temple on Coruscant.

As she continued speaking he nodded along. When she finished he stopped to look up at a mural that showed them the plight of the Jedi since just before Coruscant fell. Koren turned to Sena. "In all honesty, no I didn't know the Manda'lor considered the Jedi a clan. I'm not too familiar with the clan structures, or the Manda'lor. Last I heard Mandalore was ruled by a duchess and there was some internal strife going on."

He looked up at the mural. "So much has changed. In some ways I am glad I have something, familiar, to go back too. As this isn't, not anymore." He shrugged as he turned back to Sena. "Anyway, you have been rather forthcoming with information, what do you want to know?

Dra'kal continued to remain ever so silent, as he watched the conversation unfold. This force spirit seemed to claim that she was both a sith, yet not; being one whose loyalties lain with the Sith Empire, but implied she practiced more of the light side in her stride. She claimed to follow Acina to ignite her so-called "true vision" of the Empire, even admitting with grief that her descendents had squandered that vision entirely. The Kaleesh's began to find his mind flooded with conflicting thoughts. On one hand, the Imperium had always loathed the sith, categorizing every dark-side practitioner as evil in nearly every book and speech. He was raised to believe this, amongst every jedi for the matter, to think this - for they after all had provided quite a reasonable case for themselves.

Yet, on the other hand, the spirit that was presented to him didn't seem to resemble the typical stereotypes and attributes of a traditional user. Yes she claimed to be born a sith and having died a sith, but she seemed unique amongst her brood. And judging by her posture and voice, she didn't seem to be lying or ticking them either. She seemed rather genuine in her stance. Yet if he was to speak, or perhaps even think, this aloud within Imperium walls - even as a mild thought with no malicious intent - it would render him as a heretic amongst the Shadow Council and ultimately the Emperor himself.

He had much to think about.

Once the conversation ended, Solace permitted Airus to suggest in the former taking custody of the holocron according to the Council. She then turned to face the Kaleesh.

"Dra'kal, this would sate the agreement the Shadow Council has with the Jedi Enclaves, would it not? As we have taken custody of the holocron already, so it would not matter to you or your masters where it goes afterwards?"

The inquisitor nodded confidently.

"Indeed," he bluntly admitted, "I was only ordered to bring the holocron to you. They didn't mention anything about bringing it back. Although I have to admit... even if I was ordered to confiscate it back, given as how it directly relates to your lineage and ancestry it would be dishonorable for me to take it away from you. In short, you are free to keep it. And for added safeguarding, I will report to my Masters that you were unable to open it and that it remains locked up in the Enclaves."

"However," he continued in a lowered voice, "In return, I have but only one favor to ask of you. Considering my curiosity having peaked upon the ancient spirit's appearance, and being partially responsible for bringing about her resurrection, I would like to be updated upon any... useful information that the spirt may reveal. You are not obliged to tell anything too personal or private regarding your lineage; I only request information that may be mutually benefit the Imperium or simply towards my curiosity. Would this be fine with you?"

"Ah, I seemed to have glossed over that it has been some time since you've been among your fellow Jedi." She commented in return, shifting her head towards the murals across the wall they stood before, sensing through the force the way the wall had been carved and painted to depict that which came before. Many times through the order's history there had been points just like the Shattering, where the order had been dealt a blow that threatened to undo it, but in all those other times it had endured. Debate could be held for hours on the circumstances that lead to the order fracturing the way it had, how millennia of distrust and constant pressure from not just the Republic but varied other public groups led to the inevitable. More than that… There was the distinct absence of this history of the many times the Jedi had been used to enforce the corruption of the Republic, or simply thrust into a conflict they had no knowledge of and made to side with one side or the other.

All that and more, she could go on until Koren had to take his leave, and perhaps longer, but he had offered her the opportunity she was seeking since she sensed his presence among so many other familiar souls. "I do not mind at all in the sharing of our new dual culture here within the Republic of Mandalore and the Enclaves, though as I'm sure you are aware, I do have many questions of you and where you come from." Just behind her, having kept lockstep through the short walk from the desk over to the mural, her guardians exchanged glances with each other once again. Though their faces could not be seen, only the silver of the masks, it was clear they weren't exactly comfortable with what she was doing, but continued with their orders nonetheless.

"The Hapans, or is it Hapan? Either way, the Hapans are not entirely well known beyond their nebulae, mostly by their own design and in order to protect their way of life as most seem to believe. From what I've read, the society is almost entirely matriarchal due to the supposed origin of the Consortium as a pirate state. When the pirates were wiped out, the women they left behind took it upon themselves to institute some manner of order in their absence and rather than reach out to the galaxy as a whole, insulate themselves from much of the chaos beyond their borders."

"Is that about right so far?"

There was no small amount of excitement brewing within the towering Mando, partly as it seemed the young popstar was every bit as approachable as she had been put out to be, but that his girls would never believe that he got to talk to her. "Ah, not myself no." He admitted, then paused and came to a rest a few feet from her, not coming too close so she could retain some manner of personal space. "Well, not entirely at least. There's a few songs I can't help myself but to hum along with, but it's mostly the girls who absolutely love your music. Did you want to see them?" Without even skipping a beat he came down a little lower to be more on her level, pulling out a battered leather booklet from a pouch on his belt. As the clasp came undone, a series of thin slates came unfolding from the backing, each of them depicting a still image of multiple people.

"These are my girls, Sadhu and Dashi." Two rather pale looking girls waved from either side of the armored man in the center, neither looking particularly thrilled to have their picture taken, and least of all the woman standing off to the side who instead wore robes more reminiscent of the Jedi. "Ah, and that's my wife Besh. She's… Well, she's a little more strict with the girls, so I'm usually the one to take them to concerts and such. But don't tell her I said that. Oh! This is from Dashi's ninth birthday party just a couple months ago!" And another, with the older girl looking a little more pleased, though it seemed to be more in part due to the woman in the background appearing to lecture Ceph as the other girl's expression was largely concealed by copious amounts of cake.

He continued on through another eight slides, depicting various moments captured in time and showing no signs at all of stopping in his gushing over his two precious angels, until a small beep came from his helmet and he realized that not only did he have things to do, but he had forgotten entirely the reason he came over to meet with her. "Where are my manners? Here I am spoiling you with images of the two most perfect girls in the galaxy, and I have yet to introduce myself or even make the effort of assisting you. I am Ceph, of Deathwatch, and I had overheard that you are to be making your way to see the Mand'alor correct? Well, I do happen to speak often with Madam Secretary Suard, so I can get you to her office without all that trouble of going through the various envoys and such."

Off to her side she caught Ila mentioning something to Airus, though the specifics couldn't be heard due partially to her focus on the spirit before her and that she wasn't exactly standing right next to them. This was all such a troublesome affair, a cascading series of unfortunate turns that she was becoming more and more certain would come back with misfortune in her future. Perhaps next time she has to deal with a holocron she'll just wear gloves… At any rate, the more she thought on things the more time passed, and the four of them were still within the room with a spirit several thousand years dead. Dra'kal was remarkably indifferent about the heritage of the holocron or her, though had understandable curiosity regarding it. That much she couldn't really fault him for, even if the moment he mentioned sharing of potentially useful information he got quite the response from the spirit herself.

"While I am not adverse to speaking of what is now history, or of the cultural differences between both time and ideologies… Our secrets are not on offer Kaleesh. More than that, my descendant has not yet even earned the right to them."

Now that was a curious piece of information, and added yet another layer onto things. Solace counted once more the security checks they had to go through for each step of dealing with this spirit. First the biokey, a way to ensure that knowledge important to the family line stayed within it or would be forever denied to either Sith or Jedi. It meant that what secrets she held would surely be of significance, and that the second layer depended upon their alignments to pass… Showed more so that she wanted to keep them from the Sith in particular. Especially when shown that she saw the Jedi as at the very least, not an enemy if not an ally. Now a fourth barrier shows itself, and she can't help but wonder if there might be more beyond that. Just what is it that her ancestor knew that would require such lengths in order to keep secure?

"I can only assume, Marisena, that such things you will not speak of to anyone except myself, assuming I pass your judgement?"

"That is correct, and as you might surmise, I will not offer such an opportunity to you until I feel you are suitably ready, and of course alone."

"Of course."

What a precarious mess this was. Here she was, with an ancient holocron effectively bound to her, and only willing to share sensitive information with her. This was really going to throw a spanner into her plans. There was that Corellian that she was intending to meet with at the Tower, no doubt already having spoken with Madam Secretary Jaessih and expecting a lengthy wait. Then there was… Shit. With all of what had happened, she had let slip the Hapan representative who was due to visit the Citadel… Now. He must already be in the main hall wandering about, no doubt chiding the Order for their lax ways.

"Airus, I've just remembered that I've got other business that needs seen to right away. Let the council know that Marisena here is willing to speak with both of us on historical matters, and do try to press upon them the significance of allowing me to retain custody of the artifact… Wait, I'm not going to have to prick my finger again to access you am I?"

"You will not. Simply speak my name, and I will appear."

With that the light surging from the capstone of the holocron ceased, plunging the room into darkness for a brief moment as the lights adjusted. The spirit wavered and dissipated in the fading glow of the holocron, sealing herself back inside to wait until summoned once more. With one hand grasping the handle of her parasol left by the door, Solace turned her attention to Dra'kal next.

"Good, then that is settled. Dra'kal, I will share what I can but make no promises on how relevant such information may be to your order or the Imperium. There will no doubt be some matters that will need addressed by our council, and more than a few I think a long time alone in reflection might not even settle. Your discretion is of course appreciated, and I will be sure to keep that in mind as this matter unfolds. There are guest quarters here in the Imperial wing that you are free to make use of during your stay, including a curated library and dining area that has been stocked with Imperial specific items. I do apologize, but I absolutely must be off to see to another foreign diplomat."

Mor'gann Arnhar

Location: Mandalore, Keldabe city

Mor'gann scoffed slightly, the scarred corner of her mouth making her appear to be sneering in disdain. As if meat was something to run out of. Where was there not fish and beasts to feast upon if one could but hunt it? The thought was astounding to the young woman. Though sustainable food gained from forage or growing was a far more tedious task, those things were thus merely additions rather than their main source. In truth, Mor'gann was torn between leaving this strange woman and her hazardous ways to the market and making her own way and continuing to wander about until she had a better grasp of things. While the wiser course would be to learn from the woman's mistakes, Mor'gann was, in her own way, trying to avoid trouble. She had escaped Dxun and saw no reason to raise the ire of the locales more than they had.

Which was another matter within itself! The locals here seemed to not be from here at all. The patchwork of people within the market had been of such a variety that it had thrown Mor'gann off balance. The wandering she had done before finding the odd 'man' to whom she sold her hides had done little as not only did they look strange not one of them spoke the language of Dxun- which did make sense, even as it aggravated and soothed Mor'gann at the same time. Their tools were odd and their metal ships and little metal ship-like constructs that rolled about with beeps and boops were astounding. Though their cooking was by far questionable to her eyes, Mor'gann was slightly of the opinion that could very well have done with the crazed woman's interference than any fault of the food.

Dusting off a shoulder of her maalraas hide tunic, the younger woman gave a world-weary sigh. "Trade to'ken." Though it did not seem exactly that. A trade token was essentially an 'I Owe You'. These did not seem to be the sign of a favor that would be required to be returned, but rather a permanent thing so long as she did not wish to exchange them for something. For so large a group, she could well imagine this was far simpler than a token and needing to hunt a certain person down to redeem it. Let alone what those tokens were generally reserved for! Clicking her tongue absently, Mor'gann nodded with a certain decisiveness. "Ship, more credis." The dark-haired woman agreed. "No..." She gestured the way they had come and made and gesture between their former foe and themselves, searching for the word in the common tongue to this place. "No near 'im. Ship far here." She gestured sharply further down the market as if it made perfect sense to look for a captain away from the man who had accosted the both of them.

Aroma Bel Iblis

Location: Mandalore, The Tower
Interacting with:
Ceph @Alfhedil

Aroma snapped out of her reverie once the Mandalorian in front of her began to speak, relaxing a little as all her little worries were thrown out the window. The young woman couldn’t help but giggle softly at the man’s admittance, giving him a bright smile at the offer. ”Of course! I always love learning about my fans!” She replied leaning in a bit closer as he pulled out the small leather booklet and opened it to reveal a number of pictures. As the Deathwatch member began describing picture after picture of his adorable little girls, Aroma’s smile only grew with how enthusiastic the man was with his kids, though she couldn’t help giggling at the picture of Dashi’s ninth birthday party. Hopefully, this experience will go a long to showing the rest of her fellow Corellians that the Mandalorians aren’t heartless killing machines, but that they’re people as well.

Even though the Mandalorian showed no signs of stopping his descriptions of his seemingly endless number of pictures, Aroma couldn’t help but become engrossed in them herself, smiling, giggling, and often commenting on some of the pictures before tilting her head slightly in confusion as the man stopped mid-sentence. ”Please, do not worry about that, I always enjoy learning about my fans, whether they’re young or old. Although I believe I don’t need to introduce myself, it seems only fitting that I do. I am Aroma Bel Iblis, colloquially known as Paff to most in the galaxy. It is both an honor and a surprise to meet a member of the esteemed Deathwatch.” She replied with a small bow. ”That is correct, we need to go over a few more details for the concert and its surround festivities now that I’m here. If you can make it that much easier than any and all help is appreciated.” The pop star replied before giving a bright smile as her eyes practically lit up from an idea. ”And, in exchange for both helping me get to the Madam Secretary’s office and for showing those pictures of your adorable girls, we can take a picture together or maybe even a little personalized recording for your girls. I’m sure they’ll love it.”

Koren Omi-Ren

Koren nodded along. "Perhaps once I have spoken to the council on my potential return to the order we can discuss more in detail about how the order has evolved and developed, whether or not they accept me back. I am always happy to teach and be taught." Walking through the gardens his own guards seemed to have little to no issues with what was going on. "Hapan."

He paused to allow her to finish he train of thought. "There are some inaccuracies there. While it is true the Lorell Raiders were more or less wiped out because of the Jedi and the Republic centuries ago, the Women Folk had already been the backbone of the society. Building the infrastructure and accumulating wealth and power within what would become the Hapes Consortium, it was only when the raiders were wiped out and the male population was virtually nothing that the women decided that no man could be trusted to rule. After-all their violent and blood-thirsty antics had almost left the Consortium destroyed before it had really begun, appointing one Female as Ruler she became the Queen Mother with various reagents on the planets throughout the Consortium."

Koren played with his wedding band. "That is to whom I am married, the current Queen Mother. Which makes me Prince and Military leader."

Riven Je'and-The Citadel, Mandalore

Riven sighed as she sat near at the agreed upon meeting place, the silver inlays of her dress shimmering in the light of the Citadel's courtyard. The only sound to be heard besides the fountain was the tapping of her foot as she tapped her heel rapidly. Of course they were running late. We finally decide to take a night off and of COURSE they'd be behind everything. Couple that with the fact that the Founding is starting today and we're still not got our act together... Of course, this was all idle complaining on her part. The young woman simply didn't want to wait to get to begin her first night off in over six months.

The Galaxy's political landscape had changed twenty years prior, but somethings, like the Hutts and their criminal enterprise or the other criminals who liked to think the Mandalorian Republic's ships were easy pickings. And acting as a guard and escort for those varying cruisers and cargo ships was where she and a handful of other Jedi had been for the last six months, repelling what had seemed like a seemingly increasing number of raiders each trip. Others walked by, mostly Jedi going about their days and their business, but none commented on her choice of attire.

In many ways, the changes the Jedi had experienced after Knightfall all those years ago had astounded her father and intrigued her mother, while she and her twin, Talia, simply got to enjoy them. Their family had a very long, confirmed history both within the Jedi Order and with the Mandalorian Clan of Ordo, though the Enclaves only cared that they were Jedi. Her sister, however, was drawn to investigate the family's Mandalorian history, though she hadn't found out much. Eventually, however, her quiet musing drew out a loud sigh. "Where is everyone..."

Talik “The Fox of Ryloth” Gida, The Rebel

Interacting with: Xarthas @sep, Toryn Dral@Sir Lurksalot

Mandalor > The Liberator
Year Four, After Re-Synchronization

The situation was good, the Mandalorians had decided to hear her plea and help her save Vasani. The twi’lek was happy with the results of that meeting, as she quickly made her way back through the halls of the building towards her gunship. Originally she had planned to make a detour home, but with needing to gather some of her own and the apparent word that Xarthas was visiting the Liberator to restock her, the girl felt the need to return to the Lucrehulk. However, she was not expecting to find two mandalorians wearing very familiar beskar'gam outside of her ride back towards the ship in orbit. She felt a smile spread across her features as her pace quickly picked up to close the distance before she embraced the one in the deep red armor for a long few moments. ”Ord’buir. (Papa Ordo)” She said softly, hugging the man who had taken the place of a father in her life after those terrible days on Coruscant. Releasing him and taking a step back, she then hugged the other Mandalorian. ”Ba'vodu A’den. (Uncle A’den)” She said to the other before also locking him in a tight hug.

Once she released him, the twi’lek looked between the two before for a brief moment before she knew why they were waiting for her. ”I can’t ask either of you two to put your lives on the line for Vasani. I know she is aliit (Family), but you two retired years ago. She’s i-” She started in before being cut off mid sentence as Ordo tilted his head slightly. A tic that Talik knew he was about to interject his two cents on the matter at hand. ”Ad’ika (Daughter), you already said why we have to go to save her. She’s aliit (Family).” He said firmly, having never been a man of many words. Almost on the tail of him falling silent, A’den spoke up. ”Not to mention, we’d love a chance to blast some clankers again.” He said before turning towards the two Magna Droids in the gunship behind him, and pointing. ”Offense intended.” He said as the twi’lek gave an audible sigh and rolled her eyes.

Not even a minute later, they were all aboard the gunship and it was getting ready to head out of the hangar. However, at that very moment she recognized a face talking to the very Mandalorian she had met earlier. The girl’s jaw set, and her right hand closed into a fist as she stared at the Corellian. For a moment she continued to stare hard at the girl as the side door to the gunship slid closed in front of her and they started to blast their way back to orbit. The silence was broken a few moments later when the magna guard behind Talik, and A’den, only a few seconds later. The Magna Guard, IG, spoke quickly and louder than A’den. ”Why is Aroma on Mandalore?” The unit asked, earning a look from the others, as the droid shrugged. It kept tabs on everybody Vasani interacted with on a daily basis, helped him protect the young girl. After a few moments of silence, A’den repeated what he had said before when the droid talked over him. ”Why, exactly, were you giving Vasani’s group member the death glare?” He asked, then when given strange looks by everybody on the gunship gave a shrug. ”What? I keep up with the news.” The man said with a low chuckle.

Back aboard the Lucrehulk, the girl assigned the droids to lead her relatives over to prepare for the coming assault, along with tasking her commander to rally some troops who would join the assault to rescue her sister. She, on the other hand, had a guest to go greet. Making her way quickly through the hangars until she found the familiar look of Xarthas’ ship, Talik let out an audible groan as she noticed the man striding confidently towards it with his B1’s in tow. Just as he was about to arrive, the girl barked out at the man and his droids. ”Oi! Deck Officer, you know by now that we DO NOT send the droids to unload Xarthas’ ship. This has been the protocol for years now.” She growled at him, already not being in the best of moods for dealing with the overzealous man’s antics. In a matter of seconds he had the droids turned around and apologized to Talik, scurrying off to maintain some other part of the busy hangar bay. Meanwhile the girl quickly made her way over towards the Mandalorian by his ship. As she approached, she extended an arm for a typical handshake as she spoke up. ”I apologize for our officer there, he’s just on edge after the damages. We all are. Did Killian ask for the resupply?” She asked, getting straight down to business.

Xarthas eyed the B1s pull back with skeptical eyes, waving them away with a mock gesture before turning his attention to the formidable Twi’lek. “Yeah. Killian gave me a call-” He jammed his thumb back to the Nightfury “-Oddball decided he wanted to take a flight up so we grabbed what we had, made a quick stop to one of my suppliers on Mandalore and then came up here. I hope whatever you’re up to is worth it Talik, I had to call in a number of favours I was saving for a rainy day to fulfill your shopping list.”

As if on cue Chuckles came down the ramp in control of a hover sled containing several shield generators, military grade, meant to work in tandem in order to create a dome. It was an oddly specific shopping list. “So, where’s the party?”

Talik nodded as she learned that Killian was the one who reached out towards the smuggler for the restock. It was the smart move, and she appreciated that the man felt comfortable enough to make those choices without her input. The rebel leader made a mental note to thank him for getting the restock while she was focusing on getting help. Looking towards Xarthas, she let out a long sigh and gently ran a hand along her lekku. A tic that was comforting and something she did when nervous. ”Its… personal.” She said, stingy with the details at first before letting out another sigh and gestures for Xarthas to move with her behind his ship and out of the way of others. ”Vasani, as in the Pop Star, is being held by Grevious. It’s just that she’s… Vasani is my little sister. I have to save her, but there is…. a lot of firepower protecting where she is. That’s why I needed the restock.” The girl admitted, knowing she could trust the Mandalorian.

Xarthas nodded. “Well we’ll get the resupply unloaded as soon as possible, Killian asked me to take a look at some fighters and the like. After all, you can’t do any better than having a Den work on your ships. After that, I’ll be out of your hair, unless there’s anything else you’ll be needing?”

As far as the restock went, she didn’t particularly need anything more from the man. ”No, can’t think of anything else I’d need. Unless you want to volunteer to go help try to save her.” Talik said as a sort of small joke as she looked over the other Mandalorian. On some level, she appreciated that he didn’t really seem to feel the need to express condolences or anything about Vasani being captured. It was nice, since most who said it never truly meant it anyways.

Xarthas shrugged. “If you are needing someone to slip you in under their guns, under fire and get you out faster than a Zeltron when you mention commitment then I’m your guy. With the CIS actively kidnapping people not involved in the war, not involved in their space I think it’s time I started getting more involved.”

Her eyes widened slightly as he responded, seeming to take the joke seriously. She thought silently for a few moments before speaking up. ”I will always welcome another to our cause, but the Mandalor has actually set up forces to help me get her out. I am tasked with bringing twenty people, so if you want to come along… I’d trust you at my side.” The girl said with a reassuring smile.

Xarthas looked back at the Nightfury and back at Talik. “Don’t overestimate my skills, I’m offering to get you in and get you out and help lay down fire in the meantime. In terms of working with a blaster you would probably be better to have someone else by your side.”

”I can recommend you as a pilot for any potential boarding action, but the final decision is in the hands of the Mandalorians. But, I’ll still take you with me, Xarthas, as a pilot recommendation. I’ll forward you the details on the meeting.” She said softly, pulling out a data pad and tapping at it for a long few moments. Then the details of where and when to meet the crew going on the boarding action was sent to Xarthas. ”If I see you there, you’ve chosen to go with us. If I don’t, I understand. Thank you again for the resupply.” She said before taking a step back away from the man. ”I need to rally my troops, excuse me.” She said before stepping away and turning to head back towards her bridge.

On her way back towards the bridge, the girl stepped off into a side room before closing the door behind her. Holding up her forearm, the girl tapped at a few buttons before the projector built into the forearm sprang to life as it connected to the person on the other end. ”Toryn? Are you on a job?” Came the girl’s voice the moment they were connected. She allowed a more friendly tone to slip into her voice than when she had been dealing with Xarthas, as she knew the man she was calling on a more personal level than the smuggler. Falling silent, she waited to see if he was available to help her with the mission to save her sister.

And instead of the hologram of the man the Lethan twi’lek was probably expecting, she got… a lake. Not all that surprising in retrospect— Toryn had a habit of redirecting incoming holocalls to the display on his helmet from time to time, mostly when he was doing something with his hands that made talking to a small glowy person coming out of his wrist a bit inconvenient, but not crazy enough to warrant throwing ‘em onto audio-only.

What was weird (for the Mando, anyway) was that the camera seemed to be level with the ground. Catching what looked like a bit of someone’s knee sticking out from just off-camera as well as a fishing rod that snapped into view with a little ‘Fwish!’ and a distant ‘Plop!’.

”Red...?”

That un-modulated tone confirmed it, he wasn’t wearing his helmet.

You’d have to know the guy to understand just how weird that was.

”I, uhh… no, actually. I’m at my dad’s.” Toryn finally answered from off camera. ”Why? What’s up?”

Toryn? With his helmet off? The girl wondered if she had caught him up to something before she noticed the fishing rod. Odd. She never took him for the fishing sort of guy, but that didn’t matter at the moment. ”I need you. Its… Vasani. Grevious took her to some blacksite, I tried to get her but was outgunned. Long story short, the Mandalor has offered to help me get her back. I’m supposed to meet him in a bit with 20 men to get her back, I wanted you to go with us. You’re one of the few I’d trust with this.” She said softly, already tapping her datapad to get ready to send him the details on where to meet up. ”Also, Vasani’s force sensitive. I want you there in case the Jedi try to take her, I don’t trust them yet.” She added, hoping the man would agree to join the mission.

There was a soft little bit of mumbling in Mando’a slightly off-camera, as Toryn drooped slightly… or at least, looked like he did from what could be discerned from the movement of his knee. Then his arm calmly crossed in and out of view as he gently put his hand on the shoulder of the person who’d clearly been sitting next to him just out of frame.

”Sorry, kid. Duty calls.”

A quiet, childish giggle that clearly wasn’t his followed that, and a little blue hand reached out and took the rod out of his own when he offered it.

”S’okay, Uncy Tor-Tor. Shit happens.” The kid off-screen responded, eliciting a chuckle from her senior.

.

”Catch a big one for me, will ya?”

”Aye, alor’ad!”

And then the feed went dead for a few seconds, before returning with the familiar t-visor of Toryn’s helmet as he now actually used his communicator the way it was goddamn meant to be on the way back to his ship. His voice now taking on a sharply professional edge completely absent from the previous exchange as he spoke;

”Talk to me, Gida, what’ve you got?”

Now she just felt like a terrible person, realizing that he had been spending time with family when she called him up about the mission. ”I’m sorry Toryn, I didn’t realize you were with family.” She said softly, just before Toryn spoke again.

”Don’t worry ‘bout it, Red.” the Jedi said with a little shake of his head and a shrug. ”She’s barely eight, I’ll have plenty more time to terrorize tasty Mandalorian fauna with my niece after we get your sister back.”

The girl remained silent for a few moments before speaking back up. She knew that since he had already agreed to come along, he would be wanting the details. She tapped her datapad and sent the details over quickly before speaking. ”I’ve sent you the details on when and where we are to organize. I’m not certain what the plan is, but I have to assume a boarding action. We’re going to boarding a CIS Blacksite I found where Grevious makes people disappear. I would expect heavy resistance, as they had a heavy fleet present.” She said, explaining the details of what she had noticed. ”If you need additional gear, you can meet us on the Liberator before we go to meet the Mandalor’s troops. We’re currently docked at the ring.” She added, leaving the offer open to the man.

”You know me, Miss Gida, I always come prepared.” Said Mando responded with a little snort. ”Buuut, I’ll swing by all the same. If memory serves, your cook’s fucking amazing, and...”

His head snapped back behind him as his niece shouted excitedly off-screen. Followed by a lot of loud splashing and louder cries of gleeful Mando’a.

”...Apparently you owe me a fried fish.”

”We’ll see you soon then, Bay 1-B will be open, you’re parking next to the TIE Advanced.” She said, the worry about getting somebody she trusted being lifted off her chest. ”Also, your relative there, what do they like? I’ll get them a gift to say sorry for stealing you.” She said pleasantly, then turned to leave the room she had ducked into as her comlink started to beep. ”Son of a- Toryn, I’ll meet you when you get here. I’ve got another call coming in.” She said quickly before tapping a couple of buttons to hang up on the Mandalorian and answer the call coming in from the bridge.

Chief Librarian Airus Vel Aath

Airus Vel Aath

Interacting with: Padawan Ila'Iri Orina @rusty4297 Solace @Alfhedil Dra'kal Sherom @Lmpkio

Mandalore, Jedi Temple

Airus wished he could blink, right now it seemed the only way he could commune how confused he was by everything that was going on. It was days like this he really considered getting the cybernetic implants Solace believe would service him well, of course Airus had resisted currently stating his vision was and he was used to it. As Solace and this ancient Sith exchanged words he could only reel through his mind and wonder how the feel he would explain this in the Council of First Knowledge report... Or even worse, to the High Council we they ask him why Solace used this security system.

Airus was already feeling the headache he would get, zoning out the continued conversation the politics of Empire and Mandalore not his concern, more so protecting himself and Solace from the trouble this could bring. Though he did catch Solace's comment about getting a a Sith holocron sent to her personal chambers oh like it was that easy to accomplish. Some days he wondered if anyone other than the librarians really knew how hard they worked to prevent that exact kind of thing from happening.

Of course, he had an idea how to get her the holocron, it would involve registering the holocron and logged and secured, manually then stating he'd transferred it for personal study. Then slip it into Solace's room and pray the High Council looked no further into it and they could keep this relatively quiet. Of course he'd also need to get out of the temple, it would buy a time for Solace to study it and he could avoid scrutiny at least until he returned. He'd been wanting to take another crack at surveying Dathomir, though probably best to bring company...

"Ilia, good news. While we are waiting on your assignment to come down... How would you like to do some field work? We can even run training drills." Airus spoke with a small grin, nodding to himself. "If your interested gather what you need for a trip, we can use the Valiant we can use the travel time for training." He answered turning to Ilia to face her properly. "Also, please don't mention these events, we don't need the temple muttering about Sith. It will put everyone on edge and cause worry among the masters." Airus explained, before giving sigh as he straighted his robes and lifted his walking stick.

"If your interested gather your things and meet me near the temple entrance shortly, we will head over to the landing pad." Airus explained quickly before setting off for the library. Ducking out of the room, Sith holocron slipped into his robes, he headed back down towards the lower levels thinking it might be best to get this done quickly. Leia and Luke were no doubt still working on their assignments, leaving a handful of other knights and elderly masters mulling around the massive library chamber.

With the door malfunction, Airus decided to add a note to the log when he supposed logged the new Holocron into it. Placing it under the name 'unknown' and the date of the holocron's retrieval and theory on it's origin. However, Airus then logged it out as one for his personal research before finishing that, Leia was returning. "Leia! I'm going on another field research trip, thinking Dathomir."

His fellow librarian stared a moment before putting a her head in her hand. "Please, Airus... I know you like your trips out but I'd rather you'd let me and Luke handle a few trips out especially research trips. Your skills are impressive in the field but you should be here the Padawans do like your guidance and the younglings enjoy your lectures more than Luke's... He's rather bad at making history interesting."

Airus sighed looking at Leia. "I promise it will be a short run to Dathomir... I'm taking Ilia along, we will be careful. I'll probably see if Toryn is around as well... If nothing else, it would be nice to catch up with him. I've been so swamped lately."

"We. We have been swamped Airus." Leia pinched the bridge of her nose. "Just... Be safe, I don't want them promoting me or Luke to do all of your work." Leia muttered, as Airus finished his work at the terminal before heading back upstairs. No doubt to his room, well the shared room he had. They never talked about it but they knew a thing or two about the chief librarian's life even if he himself was a little nervous to admit to them.

Airus moved to a turbo lift, heading all the way up to the upper floors, where the apartment was, mentally making a check list in his head. He'd need to check in with Zatliazha before he left, and ask for a few healing herbs and anti-poisons since they would be traveling to Dathomir while force heal was useful the planet was a hellscape with stupidly toxic creatures and such. He'd also need to let Solace know he was leaving before he set off, of course she'd understand the move, she was smarter than her brain would probably have connected this plan in seconds. Instead of the more intensive planning Airus had required.

The lifted opened up and Airus set off finding his way home, he moved past the small decorations and the little shrine to Ashla in the corner. Heading into the bedroom, then the safe usually meant for sensitive data or precious items a Jedi might be working with. The knight placed the holocron inside and then made sure the bio key had both the right sets of data before heading back towards the lift. Ve'vut ca gave a meow following Airus out the door, the little spukamas stepped along following along at Airus's heels. The Miraluka took a different lift down, picking up the cat letting it settle into of the deep pockets of his robe and poke it's head out.

Soon Airus began a walk across the courtyard, Ve'vut Ca giving a small meow the as the rather fluffy black cat leaped from the pocket and wandered through the courtyard of the temple. Airus first stop would be the gardens, before he moved on to find Solace, no doubt meeting with other people, her work never seemed to end much like his own.

Varina Vel Aath

Interacting with: Mor'gann Arnhar @LadyRunic Adaahna Vanil @ReddentheEarth Saveld Caldrassir 'Sav' @Paingodsson

Mandalore, Keldabe city streets

Varina Vel Aath had left the temple a hours ago, her brother and his fellow Librarians had been making repairs to the holocron vault in the archives the Jedi Artisan had decided she wanted to make a trip into town. She was currently hoping to find rare materials in the districts near the space port where off world goods were common, while could always hunt through official channels, she found shopping in person yielded better prices and less questions on where the material was going. She was a Jedi Artisan rarely did her duties ever take off world and even rarer were their jobs that she needed to do so pressingly they could not wait until shopping for new parts and devices was done. Not to mention any excuse to leave before Airus roped her into helping with repairs on the holocron vault, while Airus had some skill in putting things together he usually deffered to her when it came to anything more complex than his droid companion.

Many Jedi took speeders into town or grabbed a taxi, Varina loved the long walk between the temple and the city it was peaceful. Something she could enjoy, serene even, which was a weird word to say at all about Mandalore in general yet it was so true. Even with her lack color, she could tell this planet hosted gorgeous vistas, and stunning landscapes she hoped to capture in a painting one day. However, her work today would be gather materials for next master work attempt and low quality crystals for the younglings to use in training sabers. The markets here in Keldabe were perfect for that, unlike her brother Varina loved every minute outside of the temple she could never under how he could live in that library so often. He could be so single minded in his work he could forget things like sleeping, for a Chief Librarian his skills in remembering basic functions seemed terrible.

Varina paused by a shop Luke was there, Tosche Station, she heard the owner had moved from Tatooine after leaving his former manager the place he owned there. She shook her head, figuring Luke was here picking up parts to fix something, he had a talent for repairs Varina might have considered him for artisan training if he wasn't so dead set on keeping up with his sister. Luke walked out loading parts, no doubt some extra ones he bought using the discretionary account the library maintained for things like this. The younger Jedi gave a wave to her and climbed into the speeder, heading for home.

Soon Varina had entered the port, the market place here teemed with offworlders and languages she half understood. She adored it, nothing like the boring calmness of the temple, her smile proudly displayed as she shopped along the edge of the street look through stalls from the traveling merchants who sold their goods before moving on to the next big hub planet. Eyeing a vendor who seemed to specialize in spare industrial metal bits she moved towards him, a few Mandalorians were eyeing his durasteel plates as well. As Varina glanced up and down through his scraps, she blinked and swung around towards the alley where the few Mandalorian mercenaries were looking, as a commotion could be heard in the distance. Mandalorian's watched out of concern they might need to get involved to prevent a fire fight, while Varina watched out of curiosity over who could cause such trouble.

Varina looked away however, when she noticed scraps of Electrum within the vendors possession, mixed with other small scraps he had collected from a site. She approached and pointing out the bits she wanted and showing the trader real credit ingots right here, right now, while a better price was not hard cash in your hand was hard to argue with. Eagerly they made the exchange and small bits of Electrum were secured on her belt one of pouches. She was just about to ask the man in question about a source for uncut low quality gemstones in the market he seemed rather reasonable and knowledgeable when the ruckus she heard in the distance finally arrived.

What came next however, was something she felt fit in with Airus's day to day life more than hers, a scrappy looking young man can bolting from the alley, making a jump no human could make without the force or serious cybernetics. Even Varina could sense it from him, he then asked a Mandalorian how to obtain his armor, ah so that was how he nearly been beaten seconds ago. Oh sweet Ashla, the boy was a moron and force sensitive well there were rules here, so before the Mandalorian could grab Sav to ask what the hell the little brat might have been implying with a smart ass comment like that, Varina quickly stepped between the too.

"Jedi Knight business, he'll come with me... And won't cause any trouble, will you young man?" Ask the red skinned humanoid asked Sav, her auburn hair pulled back as she crossed her arms. The Mandalorian for his part, gave a kurt nod from behind his helmet going back to browsing the goods. "I'm going to assume you don't know what you just did with that jump?" She spoke looking at Sav with a world weary sigh. "You used the force, and considering the jump you just made... Well you've got the potential to be a Jedi. Hence I'll be bringing you to the temple for recruitment." Varina explained before turning around, heading back towards the main street. "So keep up, wouldn't be fit a future Jedi if you got lost now. I have one more stop to make then we will get you back, should be a fun time."

Heading back towards the main street, Varina and her newly gained stray force sensitive which she kept a careful watch on and close to hand so she could prevent him from causing another seen found a dealer in low quality gemstones, who rather quickly agreed to sell a large bag of them to the Jedi as she slid her credit ingots over, while Airus had a discretionary fund for parts she was paid for services making training sabers and designs for Jedi to use. Thus she stayed rather while equipped for funds to make more with, even if she didn't the temple would reimburse her for paying out of pocket for building sabers for the younglings. Varina slipped the two bags of stones into her robes and headed back towards the central street to leave the port district. She'd certainly was going home with more than she bargained for, or wanted for that matter.

Making her way back through the streets, she returned to the main streets, what came next was a shout from a nearby Keldabe officer. "Master Jedi!" Came a yell from one, a younger rookie no doubt most officers in Keldabe weren't that interested in getting Jedi help, though no doubt with the ceremonies and such they were a stretched a little thin. "We have an incident, Torgruta and human stole goods and beat up two people in the bar." He jabbed a finger at the other officers getting statements. "Would you-" Varina held up a hand to stop him speaking, knowing what he wanted.

"Helping out and tracking down the two since I'm here? If you have a holo image that would help immensely?" The officer nodded showing a captured image from the bar, of the two fugitives. Varina gave a small smile, looking back at Sav. "Seems you'll be observing a Jedi Knight in action today." She turned back shutting her eyes, she had much more keen sense of force awareness. Focusing on Torgruta and human from the image, she expanded her search, moving slowly through the streets, carefully weaving through the crowds. She was not searching with her eyes or force sight, instead trusting in the force to guide her, in Ashla.

She moved slow enough Sav could follow, letting the echoes of the force guide her, through the crowd towards her intended fugitives. Focusing and tracking an individual through the force wasn't hard, if you were close enough to the site. Airus could do it better than her, though he couldn't actually see them to prove they were the right people, she supposed. Sena would have tracked them far faster, but Varina did her best, though it took a bit of aimless wandering and moving meditation to track her way through the streets she found her targets.

She moved gracefully even with her eyes closed, never bumping into or jostling a person light careful steps helping her move through the crowds as she finally stopped, opening her eyes. "I have you now." She grinned then spun a hundred and eighty degrees, she didn't know how dangerous they would be but she wouldn't take any chances. With a wave of her hand, her lightsaber shot form her belt into her hand as she turned the corner finally spotting the two. She advanced towards them, making her approach known with a warning "I am a Jedi Knight, you are wanted for arrest. Come quietly and no harm will come to you. Resist and I'm not sure how little harm I can do." She warned, saber not yet ignited as she watched the two curiously.

She looked back hoping Sav would stay back from the now worrying situation. She then muttered for Sav alone to hear. "Stay back and let me handle them, just watch... If you do well, you could be doing this one day." She answered, her eyes darts from the Torgruta to the human girl, then she began her advance towards them slowly saber still in hand. "So, are we doing it the easy way then?"

Adaahna Vanil & Mor'gann Arnhar

Location: Mandalore, Keldabe city, Alley

Was everyone on this planet some shade of some colour that could be found? Mor’gann’s yellow eyes narrowed on the red haired and skinned woman who was stalking down the alley talking about how they were wanted somewhere. [i]”Trouble, it seems, follows us this day.”/i] The Dxun muttered in her native language, shifting to take a more balanced stance. The silver hilt of something that looked like the relic of her village was troubling to the young woman. One hand strayed towards her hip, her words sharper as she called towards the woman, hoping the Togruta wouldn’t be foolish. She knew that weapon was far more dangerous than it appeared. That the boy behind the woman was staying a fair bit back was a relief. ”What business?” Though quite there was an iron tone that demanded answers. ”You a relic?” Were there many of those things out in this wide maze of stars and dark night? Torn between wary cautious and curious need to know where that relic had come from she bared her teeth in a less than welcoming smile due to the scar. ”Answer I, answer you.” She offered with an incline of her head.”Well, trouble seems interesting.”

With a low hiss, the Togruta tilted her spear defensively to partially shield her new friend from the oncoming jedi. ”Be wary, force witches are said to be able to curse your mind.” She whispered to her comrade before calling out to the advancing woman. ”why should we come with you, we’ve done no wrong.”

Mor'gann raised a dark brow. "Je'di…" The rolled off her tongue as she tested it in her heavy accent. Studying the relic wielding woman, Mor'gann frowned in displeasure. She was not fond of being unable to understand the language of these people fluently, it was becoming very problematic. "What Je'di? Force vitch?" The words were stilted as Mor'gann felt her way around the pronunciation. "Shaman?" The younger of the two asked wiggled her fingers in a gesture at Adaahna.

With a quick nod Adaahna flashed a half smirk at her comrade as she tries her best to hold herself back. ”exactly, like shaman.” her gaze quickly returning to the potential prize in the advancing woman's hands.

Well wasn’t this surprising? How did a relic of Dxun of such importance come to be on this planet and in this woman’s hands? There were questions that Mor’gann desired answered, but they were hardly going to be answered if a fight were to break out. Not that she had any real idea on how to stop that from happening. She could barely converse with one of these people. Nevermind trying to be diplomatic! ”Shaman.” She tested the word several times. ”Shaman. Shaman.” Satisfied with the word being close enough- she hoped- to her own, the Shaman of Dxun nodded in agreement. For now, she would let Adaahna O’Shilis do the talking. Perhaps by listening, as was her usual go-to in unknown situations, she would learn more. Taking a step back, not to flee but to distance herself from any possible fight, Mor’gann looked past the woman’s shoulder at the ‘boy’. A tall fellow who seemed slick. Not in the sense of personality, but literally. The man seemed slicked over wit stains from the ships that she noted many of the smugglers and those about the docks had. People who seemed to work on things within the starships. The corner of her frown that was unmarred twitched upwards slightly in amusement. At least someone looked normal around here.

Sena Alleron, The Seer

Interacting with: Koren Omi-Ren @Sep

Mandalore, The Citadel
Year Four, After Re-synchronization

"How wonderful."

Her lips curled into a mischievous grin at the receptive nature of the man, all too eager to learn more of where he came from just the same as he seemed intent to learn of what had happened to the galaxy in his absence. Both hands reached up to slowly set her hood back down, freeing her from the shadows that kept most of her visage shrouded except through means such as force-sight. The beads in her hair clinked together, a soft rustling sound as the many hued strands settled after she readjusted the braided lengths. It was almost a lesson in chaos, the varied hues of violet, blonde, green, blue and even silver mixed together. Stopping, starting and intertwining, it could have easily been mistaken as a blind woman's attempt at dying her hair, but there was a little too much design there. She had known precisely what she was doing, the veil covering the upper half of her face hiding the lack of eyes, but her appearance and every action showing she could see quite well. Better than most, if she was being honest.

"Quite the lesson in history, one which I think would merit sitting down and going over in depth some time." She began, her senses catching on to a distinct urgency surrounding a particular person not too far away. Her time was dwindling, as she knew full well how that interaction would go. Disappointing in a way, but perhaps… Sena's attention came back to Koren in full, glossing over his status back home or even here in the Jedi Enclaves. Though she wasn't using her powers, it was clear she was studying him right up until she spoke again, her body relaxing even as Kimryi and Soldan behind her tensed.

"You have the stance of a lightsaber specialist, Prince. As do your guards." Her tone was level and though it didn't have quite the same mirth to it as before, there was the lack of intent there that could be just as telling. "My sister is a rather adept duelist, though she prefers diplomacy. It's how I can tell, the way you position yourself when facing another. Though I am not a duelist or even skilled with a saber, it has been some time since I was allowed to spar with another of the order…"

Soldan immediately interjected, the silver armband of the healthcorps prominent as he made his objection clear. "Lady Sena, we cannot allow this."

"As you can see by my attendant's objections, of course." She continued, feeling the approach of her sister through the halls and getting nearer by the moment. Perhaps she was too distracted by being late in meeting the prince, or with whatever had happened within the Imperial Room, but she seemed not to notice too much of what was happening quite yet. Which meant… "My offer stands, one which you are free to accept or deny at your leisure of course. There are many who believe that to cross sabers in friendly combat builds bonds between the Jedi, to teach of each other's strengths and weaknesses so when they stand side by side, or back to back they will be able to work in harmony. As one whose skill set lie primarily in the force, you could understand why sparring with a saber specialist is of particular concern."

Then came the telepathic messages, her head turning to note the approach of a woman in red who seemed even more out of place than the myriad civilians mingling here and there between the pillars of the hall.

"Whatever mischief you are up to sister, please cease."
"Mischief? I would never accost a visitor to our order so, I was merely keeping him company until you could arrive and greet him appropriately."
"It doesn't take Airus to notice that Soldan and Kimryi are on edge, sister. Besides, I know you better than that."

Her lips curled in the slightest of scowls, turning to bow towards Koren for a brief moment as it seemed her time to play was at an end. "Apologies Prince, it seems my time is short and so is yours with me this day. Do feel free to give me an answer on my offer, or if you like I can always scry the future of yourself or those nearest and dearest." And with that all Koren was left with before Solace arrived was the glimpse of her face being once more covered by the shadows of her hood and her footsteps leading away into a crowd gathered by one of the murals opposite the room.

Ceph

Interacting with: Aroma Bel Iblis @Amalyra

Mandalore, The Tower
Year Four, After Re-synchronization

There was just the briefest of moments where it seemed as if the towering man's expression was all too clear even with the helmet obscuring his face. "Yes. Officially best dad ever." He contained himself though, trying to reign in the excitement over knowing that he would be making the year for his two girls, maybe even get a begrudging nod of approval from Besh. For now, he needed to actually make do on his promise and get Miss bel Iblis to the Madam Secretary. All the extra things would have to wait, and he was sure even if there wasn't time… Ah, that was going to be an issue wouldn't it.

As they entered into the turbolift, he nodded solemnly to Aroma, thinking to himself of the mission that was at hand. "Just doing my part will be enough." He said after a moment, selecting the floor and waiting for the subtle shift of inertia that had them up and ascending the tower. "Though I am afraid that I will not be able to stay long after I introduce you to Madam Secretary Suard. Not for the past between her clan and the Deathwatch, as some may know, but because I have a mission I must be off to." The large man went pensive as he weighed the decision before him. He knew full well the reason why she was here, it was an exercise to build the trust culturally between Corellia and Mandalore. Something that was seeing some moderate success among the people, even if the governments bitterly acknowledged each other and only when they had to.

What was making him hesitate on telling her of his mission to rescue Vasani, was that while he didn't entirely understand the largely ramifications of such, he did feel that it might bring her down and upset her. She did seem rather upbeat at the moment and excited for what was ahead, and to ruin that with the knowledge that out there in the depths of space her friend was being held and people were dying to save her… Well, while he wasn't exactly the brightest among the Deathwatch, he understood enough.

Verra "Solace" Alleron, The Diplomat

Interacting with: Koren Omi-Ren @Sep

Mandalore, The Citadel
Year Four, After Re-synchronization

Rushing through the main hall of the Imperial Wing, she took the time she had to compose herself as best she could. Never mind that it turned out that much of her family history was actually centered around the seat of the Republic's greatest enemy, as well as that of the Jedi. Or that the holocron delivered to the Enclaves by another order was actually from that family. No, it was best not to dwell too much on either of those things. Then again, thinking of how late she was in meeting the Hapan Prince most certainly did not help calm her nerves. It was rare for her to be caught off guard this badly, the last time had been a couple years ago when sparring with Dooku actually… Still not helping.

She took only a moment by the doors to the main hall, hearing the bustle of people as midday was upon them and it started to get a little busier within the Citadel. All around the lobby the families of those who worked at the temple as well as the Jedi themselves began to look towards heading home for the day. Dinner plans made and being acted upon, talk of restaurants in downtown Keldabe, of grabbing a meal at home among many other discussions. It took her but a moment to shut out everything and look inward to center herself.

Clarity allowed her to collect her thoughts, to calm the turmoil of the sudden revelations of her family's dark past, and to focus on what was before her. More than anything she needed to present herself as not just a fellow Jedi to the man in the next room, but as a diplomat for her nation. A representative for two cultures, despite how closely they had come in the last two decades. Turning her attention outward, she saw that the Prince had taken to observing the Citadel a little more personally, and another of the order had kept him… Shit. Her sister was the one speaking with him, and she could tell all too clearly when Sena was up to something. Years of her, Toryn and Airus taking the blame for her had given them a keen awareness for when the so-called innocent one was about to do something that someone else would regret.

Bad enough that she was down on the public floors when only recently she had been permitted to resume her duties again for the month, that she was out and interacting with those from beyond the Enclaves… She would make it a point to speak with her at length later on this. For now she began her approach, parasol in hand as she locked eyes in a manner of speaking with her sister. Red dress swaying about her legs, she was easy to notice and others greeted her as she telepathically scolded Sena through their force-bond, the brief exchange seeing one Alleron part Koren's company only for another to meet with him just as the two attendants made to keep with their charge.

"Crown Prince Koren Omi-Ren, please forgive my tardiness, I was caught up with an emissary of the Shadow Council on business with the Enclaves." Solace crossed her free hand along her waist, giving a curt and respectful bow more meant towards one of noble descent rather than to another of the order. "I am Verra Alleron, official diplomat for the Grand Republic of Mandalore and the Jedi Enclaves. It is rare that I need to tend to duties between the orders, so the council often ensures that such things are taken seriously. I speak now on behalf of the Republic of Mandalore however, and want to assure you that we value all who would seek friendship with our Republic." It was then that she realized that being from the Hapes Cluster, he might not know as much about the political situation of the galaxy as most would. "Seems I would ask your forgiveness again, I was briefed on your situation and spoke as if everything was common knowledge. Please do ask any questions you may have, this doesn't necessarily need to be a strictly business meeting between our people."

Ila'Ira Orina

Involving: Airus @Apollosarcher

Ila was kind of glad that this whole thing seemed to be wrapping up, no more worrying over whether or not she'd have to try to fight or escape, or even if she could for that matter. She started to fully calm herself, letting the knights in the room's judgement be her guidance. Maybe I could get away with some meditation in the meantime? It'd be a really different experience having a sith ghost around while I do... She started to think over the possibility as things began to wind down even more than she had expected. Wait, is this meeting already over? No pleasantries or casual conversation, just in, sith ghost, out? Huh.

Ila perked up a little as she was suddenly addressed. After almost feeling like a splinter in an otherwise important situation, being directly spoken to was a surprise. Airus was offering some field training, and a trip. This'll certainly be more fun than meditating in a back room or something. Oh, maybe I'll get to practice some interesting force techniques or something! She smiled at Airus's offer, giving a respectful bow. Since the tension of the room was no longer crushing her, she didn't feel the immediate need to speak up, giving a quiet, respectful bow to the other two in the room before heading out to gather what she might bring.

Moments later, after having woven her way through the temple's halls, and while in the process of gathering her stuff, Ila took a moment to think. "Wait... did Master Airus say how long we'd be there? Wait, is it right to-" she stopped talking to herself, realizing she should keep this in her head. Is it right to keep everything that happened there from the council? I mean, I was told to by Master Airus, but... isn't it up to the council to know these sorts of things? With a small sigh and a resolution to talk about it on the way, she finished packing for a several day trip, since she didn't know exactly how long he had intended them to be out in the field.

Ila hoisted the bag of daily necessities onto her back, took a slow breath in and began walking to the entrance. Is this my first official jedi business? I mean, I'm going to be someone's padawan soon, sure, but helping out an official jedi with official business... and how I'm also part of the order; it's definitely official jedi business, and it's my first. It'll probably be a bit boring sometimes, but I'll do my best. She couldn't help the smile that began to form, until her thoughts turned back to her requested silence, causing her growing smile to fade back into nothing. I'll... have to clear my mind with Master Airus. I'm sure he knows what he's doing, but it's still bothering me right now. He has a good reason to keep it hidden, I'm certain. Finally, she reached her destination, the entrance to the Jedi Temple, where she would head off world for official Jedi business... and to clear her head with the one who started the clouding in the first place.

"Keldabe ATC, Iron Leader is returning back to base. Coming in hot."

The Dauntless II zipped through the lines of assembled civilian transports with deft precision, rapidly breaking back into the atmosphere and approaching a military hangar on the surface. As the Eta-3 suddenly slowed down and glided through the open hangar doors, the assembled ships of the Iron Squadron came into view. The second Ro's signature starfighter touched down, the cockpit opened up and the Jedi Ace quickly hopped out into the hangar. A couple of flight mechanics instinctively moved toward the interceptor to begin inspecting it. The Jedi Ace watched the mechanics with his brow knitting in confusion.

Of course, a clone pilot with gray stripes designating his status as a member of Iron Squadron started approaching his CO, holding his helmet against his side under the crook of his elbow. He gave a curt salute when but a few steps away from Ro. "Orders from command, sir. Mechanics are performing routine inspections and making sure armaments are restocked."

Ro gave a curt nod as the mechanics were already carting in ammunition for the Dauntless II, setting his second in command at ease. "Thank you, Booker. Have you finished the preparations for our new recruit?" The Jedi Ace began walking past the interceptors and towards the back of the hangar, where a few members of Iron Squadron were lingering. Booker kept up pace with Ro Nuul, his walk more of a stiff march compared to Ro's nimble steps.

"The Eta-3 is prepped, though his astromech should be here momentarily. I made sure he has a bunk and his standard issue gear is ready as well. As for his welcoming party, Rally volunteered as per usual. The rest of the squadron insisted on drawing straws, and Trigger got the short stick this time."

Ro turned his head towards Booker, his breath mask rising slightly as the Kel Dor gave a small smile. "We'll see how long the rookie lasts if Trigger is responsible for showing him the ropes. The boy showed courage, but I would have rather stared down a Krayt dragon from legend myself than have Trigger show me around."

The two had approached the small assembly of four pilots huddled near some crates in the back of the hangar. Sitting on a crate with his back to Ro and looking towards the others expectantly was the Rodian pilot called Runner, while the Duros called Flyboy leaned against the wall shaking his head. Two humans, an olive-skinned man called Ball and a darker-skinned woman called Chain, were busy rolling their eyes.

The Rodian continued his story. <"I'm telling you, Corellians never check your... He's behind me, isn't he?"> The Rodian turned around and gave a curt nod towards his squad leader, cutting his story short immediately.

Flyboy piped up almost immediately. <"Engineers seem to be rather thorough today. Do we finally have an assignment?">

Behind Ro's stoic expression, the Jedi Ace internally winced at the question. Not because he was shying away from the idea of serving as more than simply a space honor guard, but due to his lack of knowledge. "I'll let you know as soon as I have official orders from Command."

As if on cue, R3 quickly rolled over after having been released from the Dauntless II by the flight engineers. With a series of whirs, R3 managed to get all of the pilots on edge. Ro gave a curt nod towards the droid. "I'll take the message in the conference room."

Ro and R3 exited the hangar through the nearby door. The facility outside of the hangar was rather small, at least what was dedicated to the Iron Squadron. A short jaunt down the singular hallway on the left hand side was a small room with a conference table with thirteen seats, and a spot near the center of the table with access to the Holotable. R3 assumed his spot near the holotable, while Ro stood with his arms folded near the doorway. Within moments, the room grew dark and a holographic projection's blue light illuminated the room. It portrayed a female mandalorian in Beskar, moving to stand at attention as her gaze fell on Ro Nuul. "Jedi Ace Ro Nuul. Mandalorian Command is calling you in to meet with your operations Commander on the Ring. Enter through Docking Bay B-32."

Ro Nuul furrowed his brow once again. "Does Command have a mission for us?"

"That information is top secret, Captain. Please direct further inquiries to your operations commander."

Within that instant, the communications cut out and the lights in the conference room began to light up. Ro Nuul shook his head as his droid turned to face at him with a small string of inquisitive beeping. "I can't know for sure, but it looks like we've got an assignment."

Saveld Caldrassir `Sav`

Interacting with: Mor'gann Arnhar @LadyRunic Adaahna Vanil @ReddentheEarth Varina Vel Aath @Apollosarcher

Mandalore, Keldabe city streets

Sav was just looking up at theMandalorian as his head tilted as the Mandalorian wasn't responding. He was curious as to what was happening when he suddenly saw a being step in between the Mandalorian and him. "Jedi Business? What do you mean?" Sav seemed confused as his eyes grew slightly, "I don't know what your talking about, those guys came chasing after me, don't blame me for them overpricing their parts." Sav would say, almost seeming offended that he was asked to not make any trouble. He listened to this woman for a second, before speaking up every chance see seemed to pause. "Wait... I was just jumping from one building to another, it's just cause I have really good leg strength from running around a lot!" Sav seemed absolutely confused by the fact that this person was claiming he had force powers.

He suddenly stopped his speaking for a moment when she told him that they had one more stop; it was as if a light had just turned on in his head, "Wait a minute! You said you were a Jedi?!" Sav Exclaimed. "Does that mean you fight with lightsabers and make people move with your mind?!" There was another seeming long pause. "You said.. I could be a Jedi?! Oh that'd be so cool, wait until I tell my mom and dad that I met a Jedi and they are going to induct me into their schools! Wait.... this isn't a trick right you aren't some cult leader, right?" Sav began to say, still following right behind her and speaking as they walked. "I mean even if you are, it's really cool if you can tell who has the force, but I don't think I do.. watch." Sav would stick his hand out, as he did he focused real hard despite Varina just walking away, nothing seemed to happen though as he caught back up with her. "See, I think you got the wrong guy, I'm not a Jedi, my legs are just really strong." He pushed his hand out again this time in front of Varina to show her, as he did a decent part of the street that had been chipped away flew up and smacked Sav right in the head. "Ow.... what the hell? Does this planet have like jumping rocks or something?"

When they were approached by the Keldabe officer though Sav's expression changed. "You really are a Jedi! That's so cool! I can't wait to tell my parents... Wait... that means you weren't kidding i'm gonna become a Jedi too!" he shouted raising his fist in the air. He began to talk once more, this time his questions began to come out rapid fire in excitement. "Okay, I have a few questions, when do I get my lightsaber, how do you use the force, when can I like make people change their minds, what exactly is the lightsaber made out of, is it something I could tape together, I'm pretty good at repairs and such. Did you know that most ships can be held together with a lot of elbow grease and some tape... I'm getting off topic here. Do I have to wear a bathrobe all the time? Will people have to listen to me, who's gonna be my master, and-..." all of a sudden he gasped. "WAIT does that mean I can't marry?! Because I have someone, someone close I'm interested in, and I'd rather not join if I'm going to have to never get to marry her, she is the love of my life after all." he'd say patting his necklace. "Oh plus, i'm serious about the bathrobe thing, as I don't know if I could go around wearing one bathrobe all day."

Sav finally stopped talking when Verina spoke, but he hadn't even realized they had been tracking a couple people down, in fact, he had completely zoned out of what the Keldabe officer had said as he had processed that he was going to be a Jedi. He heard her tell him to stay back, he took a single step back as he saw the two people who seemed to now be having a standoff with the now Jedi. If he was going to be a Jedi, he couldn't stand idly by, after all, what type of man would he be. But now the person he assumed who was his master just told him to stay back. How was he going to stand back but also show that he was ready to back her up he looked around, looked down at his blaster, but they didn't have a blaster and the Jedi Knight didn't have one either. He silently shifted his focus to the two in front and slowly raised his palms up at them, as if threatening them with the force that he had no idea how to use. "Don't worry master, I got your back" He said quietly, both of his hands raised and palms at the two women.

His head tilted as one of them called the Jedi a shaman, "A Shaman? Shamans aren't real, this is a Jedi." he'd say aloud before backing up again, realizing he already disobeyed the order to stand back. "Sorry" Sav said silently, "Didn't mean to pipe up there, don't worry I have your back though."

"I thank you for your consideration." the Kaleeshi politely bowed as soon as he was given proper authorization towards the case, "It's all that I request at this point. Nothing more."

Dra'kal did not expect to hear much coming from Solace that revolve around any potential tidbits of information, but he was satisfied with having the thought in mind. It would only be a bonus to him at this point. Nonetheless, with the woman's attention now solely fixed on the next important task of the day, he would have to leave the jedi diplomat to her business.

"Then I will leave you to it." the Kaleesh replied politely as he watched her take off, "May the force be with you, Solace."

Once she properly took her leave, Dra'kal left the chamber and made his way down the opposite hallway. The thoughts revolving around the holocron and the spirit within still bounced around the back of his head, yet he knew that he mustn't be too consumed by it. Whatever information it held laid in her hands now, and at the end of the day it's ultimately her choice on whether or not to release any of it to him and the Imperium at large.

For now, however, Dra'kal had just enough time to relax for a moment before reporting back to his masters. He ought to grab a quick bite before departing... for it was going to be a long flight back. Maybe tour the Temple for a hot minute while he's at it?

He wasn't quite used to being free at this hour.
