Welcome back to Facility B: The SCP-inspired RP that sort of fell apart last time, in no small part due to me biting off way more than I could possibly chew and then sort of just... Leaving it to collapse without my support. Luckily, I have several plans of how to improve this version to keep it going for a nice long period of time, whilst also making it 100% more enjoyable to play in. Now then, without further ado, let's get to the actual interest check!
Facility B is a horror RP set inside a large, abandoned research facility deep underground. 'Anomalous Individuals' from across the world are taken here and studied to see what makes them tick. The more subjects cooperate with testings, the nicer they can expect life inside Facility B to be for them- well behaved subjects receive better rations, more comfortable living arrangements and even genuine personal effects such as books, an (internet disabled) laptop or commodities such as cigarettes. Facility B is run like clockwork, always efficient, always awake.
Until today. You awake from your bed, the lights flickering and the guards nowhere to be found. The Facility is vast and mazelike, but you cannot survive forever in it without assistance- you have to escape.
Good luck.
All subjects are fitted with heavyset (padded) steel collars. These collars act not only as power limiters, with technology tailored to the subject’s specific anomalous properties, but they also contain a small explosive charge that can be detonated in case of extreme danger to staff. With the collars malfunctioning, neither of these two features are working.
RED: High Security. Red subjects are those that have been deemed significantly dangerous to personnel and property. Red subjects are monitored 24/7 via cameras, and red wing is built like a bunker, with reinforced doors, suppressive staff never more than 30 seconds away at any time and all beds in red block have been fitted with metal restraints, which are used liberally.
Typical red powers tend to be flashy, powerful, dangerous, but may be lacking in utility. The archetypal red power is pyrokinetics- the ability to spontaneously create and manipulate vast amounts of fire.
YELLOW: Medium Security. Yellow subjects are those that have been deemed mildly dangerous to personnel and property. Yellow subjects have more freedom when compared to their red security brethren, including no cameras and no restraints on their beds.
Typical yellow powers tend to be less immediately powerful and flashy, but have a wider and more varied uses other than pure destruction. The archetypal yellow power is hydrokinetics- the ability to control water around the subject.
BLUE: Low Security. Blue subjects are those that have been deemed of little danger to personnel and property. Blue subjects generally have large amounts of freedom, with restraints on them being little more than you would see in a regular jail.
Typical blue abilities, despite not having the raw destructive power of red or yellow abilities, can still prove incredibly useful. It is impossible to declare an ‘archetypal’ blue ability; however, some common powers include absolute mimicry and infrared vision.
PURPLE: Special Security: Purple subjects are unique in that their danger is now what earns them their ranking. Purple subjects may not be particularly dangerous, but instead possess powers that render typical methods of containment difficult or near impossible. Much like their red counterparts, purple subjects are under 24/7 maintenance, and as well as power limiting collars, also receive two redundant power limiting bracelets, as bed restraints would usually be ineffective.
Much like blue powers, there is no ‘archetypal’ purple, nor are purple powers generally ‘common’ to one another. Purple powers have included intangibility, null personhood and matter transmutation.
These seems like it could be interesting. Are all of the facility inmates human? Going by the SCP inspiration I wonder if it would be possible to play an extraterrestrial.

Subject Records
Subject MB-2020-YZ grew up in a middle class family in Beijing, China. There is little to note from this period in the subject's life. First possible manifestation of anomalous properties occurred during the subject's middle school years where it showed an uncanny ability for sports, not for any athletics ability, but due to a near-supernatural accuracy in any sport that requires a ball. In high school, it became a star pitcher for its high school baseball team, gaining local notoriety as the "Strike Out Boy" as not once did any of the opposing batters ever manage to hit the ball.
Subject MB-2020-YZ would however, fail the Chinese National College Entrance Examination twice before resigning itself from higher education and instead turned to a variety of odd jobs and street performance to make ends meet. The Agency first became aware of Subject MB-2020-YZ when several internet videos showcasing its powers went viral. These videos were captured on various smart phones and demonstrated feats including but not limited to:
Throwing a playing card around his body to catch it as it comes back.
Hitting the exact same spot on a target seven times in a row with playing cards, each one splitting the previous card in half.
Throwing a RMB coin into the air and slapping it into a vending machine across the street.
Throwing a knife close enough to someone's face to cut off their bangs without harming them at all.
Tossing a watermelon into the air and throwing a total of four knives into it while blindfolded.
Bouncing a glass bottle around a corner off a street lamp into a trash bin. (Note: this particular brand of glass bottles are known to be extremely fragile.)
Throwing a needle through the hole of another needle.
Kicking a ball through an active highway without having the ball hit any passing cars or even causing the cars to stop.
For a full list of video samples involving Subject MB-2020-YZ's anomalous abilities, please refer to Addendum 1. All videos and pictures featuring Subject MB-2020-YZ's anomalous abilities have since been removed from the internet by Agency personnel.
Since his containment at Facility B, Subject MB-2020-YZ has remained fairly docile and cooperative. However it was disciplined on [VOID] for threatening a security guard and then proceeded to throw a chopstick at the guard's face, lodging it in the gap between the guard's chest and body armor through the armpit area. No physical harm done, subject was disciplined with [VOID].
Anomalous Properties
Hyperkinesis Accuracy || Subject MB-2020-YZ has been observed to be extremely accurate with any object it touches or throws to a supernatural level. It is able to make seemingly impossible trajectories around corners, through multiple objects, navigating various obstacles and even making it through the narrowest of margins without issue. This effect appears to be based on the subject's mental ability to picture the target and not vision as Subject MB-2020-YZ has been observed to be able to recreate these tests while blindfolded. However, when given a vague direction such as "throw something" without a target, Subject MB-2020-YZ is still highly accurate but its throwable objects will lack any anomalous properties such as aforementioned impossible trajectory.
EDIT 1: As of Test Number [VOID], Subject MB-2020-YZ has shown that anything it carries will be affected by its anomalous properties. This is seen in Addendum 2's video recording of the test where the subject manages to "curve a bullet" around an obstacle to hit a target. Subject does not appear to require standard firearm aiming procedures for pinpoint accuracy but seems to only be able to curve a bullet within a 120% arc in front of it meaning that the anomalous ability cannot make bullets travel 180% around corners. So far only handguns have been tested including a modern semi-automatic pistol, a police revolver and a reproduction smoothbore flintlock, all of which have proven far more accurate than normal in Subject MB-2020-YZ's hands.
