Location: The Ship - The Gun Deck
Interactions:@Tae Lizzie

After he and Helio had explained as much of the world as they could to Lizzie, taking at least an hour to do so, they decided to head to the first and largest island of the dreaded isles, in search of the lost loot of the departed victims. It would also be less likely that light elf ships would take a route that went through that area, as it was highly known to be dangerous. Barboda aided in setting sail and then had been off to the side on his own the last few hours.

He took it upon himself as they neared the dreaded isles to start loading the cannons. He ascended the stairs into the second floor of the ship to load a cannonball in. Barboda repeated this until all the cannons were loaded and brought a barrel of cannonballs into the gun deck. Once he was finished, he walked up the stairs, he turned to look at Lizzie behind the wheel, “The cannons are loaded if anything comes like I said before there are stories of a large creature in these waters, best to be prepared.

Still a bit confused, Myra watched as Traven steered the boat towards north and began exchanging heated words with Astra and Vrexen.K eeping the hostile posture as she looked at Traven, Myra was ready to pounce on him and rip his throat if he dared to raise his hand towards Vrexen or Astra. The impasse lasted only for a few moments though. The moment Traven interrupted Vrexen, he suddenly grabbed Traven's head with his claws, in a similar manner he did to her earlier, something that didn't bring pleasant memories to Myra and reminded him of be careful around him.

As Vrexen continued to tighten his grasp, blood dripped from Traven's head as he let go of the reins, not being able to do anything against Vrexen's strength. After ordering Astra to take care of the boat, Vrexen tossed Traven violently into the ground, next to Myra, saying she could do whatever she wanted with him.

Looking at the weakened man in front of her, Myra considered her options for a few moments. While normally she wouldn't refuse something to eat, the meat she ate earlier on the docks was... strangely fulfilling. Somehow it was different from the meat Myra hunted in the woods. She wasn't able to say exactly how or why it was different but she felt as if it satisfied her in a different manner. Since she was not really hungry, nor she wanted to keep someone who was hostile towards them in the boat with them, Myra simply pushed Traven's unconscious border over the edge of the boat with her tail without hesitating or caring if he would survive or not.

Nuallán was very grateful for Aurora's presence and help to calm down the humans. The encounter with the Vuothoran and what happened afterwards was incredibly impactful and a rude awakening to the humans regarding the danger they would face, making some of them lash out, especially Jomari, who did so after a physiological reaction to what he saw the Vuothoran doing with the elves. While the atmosphere was far from tranquil and good, it was thanks to Aurora's mental fortitude and her magic that the situation didn't become worse.

While the humans sat down to recover from the shock and relax, Nuallán couldn't help but observe how intriguing the human race were. They had such a huge potential, but were so incredibly fragile at the same time... Even manner how they comforted each other, seeking strength in one another even though they didn't really know themselves that well, that spirit of cooperation that seemed to be so natural to them was unique to them. While other races such as elves would consider such creatures inferior and weak, their potential to do great things shouldn't be underestimated.

The group was allowed a brief moment of respite to rest, feed themselves and regain their composure. While the humans sought strength and support in one another, Nuallán, who was watching over the group and their surroundings as a silent guardian, couldn't help but to notice how the entire situation, both regarding the humans, the war, all the expectations that were being placed upon her and now, the sacrifices that were made so they could run away were taking their toll on Rosaria. Despite her silence, despite how strong she made herself appear, Nuallán knew how she really felt. He felt his heart tighten as she looked to Rosaria, knowing that no matter how much he wanted to, he could do nothing more than to be there for her and help her to shoulder the burdens she was fated to carry. Both due to his job as her butler and someone who cared about her.

It was already dusk when the group began to move again. Fortunately, they were able to find a carriage in the middle of the road that cut through the woods. The driver, after hearing from Rosaria and after she made sure he wasn't a threat, agreed to take them to Myriamor, which would be their next stop. Upon his Lady's request, Nuallán sat just besides Jomari, to keep a close eye on him as Rosaria herself took a seat directly across the carriage, facing Jomari as she asked the humans in general if they were fine and asking them to talk a bit about themselves. While most couldn't tell, Nuallán could clearly see how tense his Lady was, a sight that once again, made his heart tighten for the weight of the burden she was forced to carry.

Annya had struggled to get up once the onslaught on her body had taken. The intense feeling going through her back and ribs convinced her she'd be covered in bruises in no time. She felt dizzy and her head had ached, but she had played it off best she could. After making sure Kharne was alright to travel, she had proudly commended the humans for their amazing work. She had not been able to see too much detail of what had gone on, but she knew they had aided in finishing off the trolls. She immediately pushed for details as they started to move again. In the event of a crisis, it was clear they could be dependable. She couldn't wait to train them to properly wield their abilities to their fullest potential. She wasn't sure how long it would take or even how similar it was going to be to wielding light magic, but if they had already been able to figure out how to summon it, then perhaps it would be quicker than her learning experience.

By the afternoon, the group had arrived at River Port. If Annya hadn't been so nauseous and dizzy from a possible mild concussion, she would have been a lot more excited to be greeted by the sound of seagulls. Luckily she had been there once before and was able to get to the health center first and foremost so that she and Kharne could be treated. That hadn't taken too long thankfully. After paying 20 amas for the services, she led them down the road and to the docks. She gestured to the beautiful ocean with a smile. The sights of many civilians moving about the boardwalk with treats in hand would greet them.

Children laughed as they ran about the sand while others enjoyed the water. Music of a dwarf on the beach played a string instrument filled the air. Annya knew perhaps the humans would be exciting to enjoy such an atmosphere, but she insisted they go into an Inn to rest up for a few hours. She led them to a four-story blue wooden building called "Inn by the Sea." She paid 50 amas for two rooms. Each room had two beds, so she had to pay a bit extra for a third bed in the room for the girls. It would do for the night as they felt out the safety and security of the town. She had scouted it out before and it had seemed suitable, but she wanted to make certain. If all seemed well, she'd make a purchase of a home for them to stay in. Annya then allowed them to make use of their food provisions and rest and chat for the next few hours. However, she left the room at some point for twenty minutes and came back with a transmission bracelet that she had purchased. She immediately handed it to Kharne and insisted he take it.

The sun started to set and Annya jumped to her feet with an energetic smile,"Everyone! I say we go and enjoy ourselves a little huh? Explore? It's been a hard day and I'd like to let you guys enjoy the night. Then we can meet back up here in three or four hours. Four hours at most!"

Annya turned to face Kharne, "Kharne, remember that bracelet I gave you today? We can use that to contact each other. I made sure ours were connected. If you'd like, you can chaperone Ismael out and you two can go explore while I take the girls for a little shopping. This will be a good opportunity, certainly for fun, but also to scope out how safe our surroundings are. "

"Excuse? No, no, Koldar! I LOVE it! The passion of a woman is fierce and cannot be matched!" Yuka had been all smiles with her elven companions earlier that day. She had graciously took up the pretty male fox's offer to go to a tavern and there they had spent the day. It ended up being a tavern called The Leaky Tap Tavern and Inn. She had heard all good things about the place and was quite excited to find out that had been their destination. Yuka spent a good amount of time flirting with the wolf-demihuman bartender Alatri in order to try to get free drinks that afternoon and ended up getting one or two on the house. It wasn't long before Yuka was a little tipsy and subtlely flirting with her new companions, Koldar his cousin, and Aiko, on and off, while dramatically bringing up controversial topics as if they were nothing, asking the three of them if they enjoyed intoxicant substances other than alcohol.

On a more serious matter of business, she had explained during the day that she was interested in taking down King Kasai and the twin-headed dragons specifically. Her eyes had been lit up with excitement at the idea of vengeance and war. The light-hearted manner she took upon as she was speaking about it all would probably convince a fellow or two that she was referring to a game. Strangly to her comrades perhaps, she had never asked their motives or intentions. As the sun set and the tavern started to get busier, Yuka looked at the three and grinned.

"I'm ready to eat!"Yuka announced and slapped the wood of the bar, "Let's chow down! Oh and mysterious masked lady-"She pointed suddenly at Nabarra, "What's your name, cousin of Koldar?"

Astra winced at the splash of Traven's body being knocked overboard into the frigid waters.

“Wait! Shit! Did you two at least run his pockets? Did she really just toss him in?”

“Run his pockets… His fate belonged to her.”

“And so did the amas in his pockets.”

“Amas?”

“You don't… Right, you're new to everything here. And she's probably never needed a coin in her life. Alrighty, allow me to explain, Lord Vrexen. Myra, you listen up too.” Astra was steering the hippocampi into the port and started pulling on the reins to slow the watercraft down to a halt. Other boats were stationed at the port docks but none like theirs. Those occupying the docks stared at the odd trio. “I can't believe he tried to make this seem hard. They're like any other horses… just fishy. Anyway, as I was saying!” She turned to the two demons and dug an ama from her pocket and held it up. “This is an ama. It is what everyone in Avalia uses as currency. You trade these to get items or services. Some things require more of these than others, so it's good to collect them.”

“Trade? We can simply take what we want. That is what dominance is for.” Vrexen did not care for the use of amas.

“Yes! Yes, you can, but then you have to fight, run, or kill if things go poorly. And you're both good at the last thing, but eventually, we'll have the whole world at our throats and no time to rest…” Vrexen did not look all that convinced. “...or eat! And we all love eating, right. So we use these to save time and effort. Plus we still take things using the amas. The more we have, the more power we hold over others in populated places like this. Now on the road, I am not opposed to taking what we want, when we want it.” Astra grinned at them.

“Acceptable enough. We will attempt to collect amas but if its use fails, we will not take ‘no’ for an answer.”

“Sounds good to me. Just make sure to give me any you happen to find or earn. I'll keep it safe and use it for all of our benefit.” She smiled warmly. It was more like ‘her benefit’.
31
“Yes. Hmm this place… What does it have to offer us?”

“Yenworth… the place is pretty tame. Though, I hear the brothel is where the real fun is… Oh! Speaking of naked people. You both need clothes. I mean I can go get you some stuff to wear while you both wait here. We have to keep a low profile and clothes will fucking help.” Demons were a rare race on Avalia and Astra didn't think the two would be identifiable at a glance once clothed. People would assume they were Demi-human due to their appearances. However, if they walked around in the nude, they would just place too much attention on themselves. Then questions would likely follow. Demons were also a race known to always bring trouble and dismay.

“Amas… Clothes…If they have a use in this realm, so be it. Hurry back. I wish to search this place for more of my lost brethren.”

Yenworth is bustling with merchants from all over, even into the evening. All sorts of species come here to trade and barter. A few merchants take residence here, but it is mostly a rest spot and a trade center building. Markets galore with all kinds of stalls are all over the place. There is a small brothel named the Yenworth Ladies, that can be found by the docks.

Many sailors port here to rest and eat the Yenworth Inn and Tavern.

By some rare stroke of fortune the flying deathtrap managed to land safely in the port town without incident. Even with his feet once again on land, Bowyn did not find himself relaxed in the slightest. Eyes from all around found their way to him and his companions. The tension of being aboard the Helius was quickly replaced with a new sense of unease. As he kept close to Rue he noted the eyes of strangers watching them, and he felt the need to return every gaze that lingered on them with a glare of his own. Bowyn’s eyes darted about, challenging curious onlookers to say the wrong thing, or make a wrong move. Part of him, most of him, wanted someone to accept that challenge, to have an excuse to fight someone. But the folks of River Port continued to carry about their business.

He watched as Rue stretched her wings with pangs of envy. Muscles in his back once used for flight ached to do the same, the empty space where wings had been somehow held the power to hurt and burn as if there was anything there to soothe. Even without Rue, even surrounded by only the grounded races, there was no forgetting what he’d lost. He tried to keep his focus on the strangers, stay alert for signs of danger, and keep his mind occupied. Rue continued through the port town and he followed. As she spoke her voice rang with an enthusiasm to it and so he just nodded and kept quiet so he could not ruin that.

Although Bowyn had turned down Arn’s offer to buy the tickets for the Helius, as Rue asked him to chose an outfit, he gave little thought to it. A gift from Rue held no threat of strings or unpaid debt, only a simple gesture from a friend who had always been and still was, kind. He gestured towards the second outfit and understood that if they were to be meeting some Sun Elf princess it would benefit them to better blend in, and for him to not wear old clothes that made him look like a vagrant. He thanked Rue and pointed out an inn across the street from the Odds and Ends shop. “An inn does seem like a good place to start looking for Arn’s friend.” Bowyn said, although the building didn’t exactly look like the sort of place one would find a princess.

Nabarra had been silently tagging along for the day. Her focus was on keeping her head down and her voice low, for a fear nagged at the back of her mind. It was buried under several layers of anger. She found that to be far more palatable. Doubly so, when this fear was so core to her heart, her values, and her esteem. If she got discovered, she would be killed. If she was killed, she could not help with the revolution, and if she could not do that… Well, in her mind, she will have failed. There will be thousands she could never have helped.

She would like to say this fear was behind her now, but as she sat there in the candlelit tavern, it was all she could do to stop herself shaking all over. Sweat was beading on her forehead, concealed by the mask. Her breathing was ragged around the edges, just barely controlled. The gash in her hip burned. She never got it treated. Should ne’er ‘ave fuckin’ put so much bloody strain on it…

The stool was hard. Worn. Her armour chafed and her spine was strained. Usually, these things would never bother her, but the mental exhaustion was becoming too much. It was certainly not being set at ease by the hyper little Yuka, constantly chatting or flirting. It only got worse when she started drinking.

Finally, after what felt like a veritable waterfall of comments, Yuka asked her name. Nabarra’s gaze slowly slid over to the demi. She stared for slightly longer than comfortable. ”Nabarra.”

Location: Aboard The Harem
Mentions: Tigerlily @Potter, Tesoro@Infinite Cosmos, Lizzie @Tae, Barboda @Alivefalling
Equipment: A cutlass, 2 knives and a dagger strategically hidden, a spyglass, a wayfinder, pouch of amas, various jewelry.

Nym kept busy, working alongside Tigerlily to ensure smooth sailing as they left the dock. As they headed in the direction of the Dreaded Isles, he noted Barboda readying the canons should they encounter either monsters or foes. It was a bold choice of destination; one that held the promise of lost treasure and far from the annoying thumb of any sort of authorities. The threat of sea monsters had never bothered him, it was a worthy gamble, and they were as prepared as they could be. He stuck close to Tigerlily, whose unease was noticeable after the encounter with Tesoro. Tigerlily was a crewmember whose experience with the sea and its creatures would be invaluable, and who he trusted more than any other aboard The Harem.

Tesoro’s outburst was not one that surprised him, there were many sailors who feared sirens, and it was fear that he found more cowardly than most superstition. For what made so many sailors fear the sirens was their ability to lure men into the sea, and so to fear the sirens was to also to fear the sea. Tesoro seemed to be in little control of himself, it was no wonder he feared a siren’s ability to seduce and control others. The former elven captain had lost his position to mutiny, he’d been deemed unworthy of his title by his own crew. Even before the man had called Nym fish brain and dared to imply that he was entranced by Tigerlily, Nym held a low opinion of him. Those insults were neither forgotten nor forgiven, instead, Nym held it in the back of his mind, a score to be settled later.

Despite his low opinion of Tesoro, the man’s concerns about Captain Lizzie remained valid. Something seemed off about her, Nym wasn’t sure what to make of her secrecy and private meetings with Barboda the bounty hunter. There was nothing to make him outwardly question the captain, and he was confidant enough that if this was some sort of elaborate trap, there were plenty of ways out of it. So kept his focus on the ship, on work, and keeping any conversation with the rest of the crew on sailing and teaching the greener crewmates anything they wanted to learn. Unlike Tesoro, he would not voice his doubts about the captain without just cause.

Upon entering Myriamor, you are greeted with the sight of huge structures similar to that of Egyptians. Pyramids are scattered amongst the huge city. Waterfalls and foliage are found galore in contrast to the desert around the city. It is rich in nature as it is built on an oasis and it almost feels like a jungle in some areas. Many of the shops and establishments are mostly stalls, which can be found in a dedicated, outdoor market. Demi-humans populate this city much more than other species, but all are welcome. The governor is named Nasah Uness.

Time:7 PM
Location: River Port
Interactions:, Rue @Potter Bowyn @Helo
Equipment: basic travel pack, medical pack, foot soldier armor, foot soldier shield and weapons. 779 Amas

The stout dwarf, veteran of many campaigns upon which he had valiantly run towards danger as arrows, javelins and other projectiles fell upon him or fought his way towards a wounded Legionnaire deep into the enemy lines with little more than a grimace on his face, almost cried as he felt the flying contraption finally set down and clamp into place. The motor’s of the Helius hummed to a stop and the doors finally opened, freeing its blissfully ignorant passengers from the death trap they had willingly embarked upon. At least, that is how it felt to the medic.

He and the pair of winter fairies had not shared much in the way of back story due to not only the dwarf’s innards desire to spill their contents upon all within the vicinity of the ailing medic, but also because Bowyn’s guarded nature and Rue’s very valid attitude that Arn had not yet proven himself trustworthy. So the long miles of lush river fed lands flew by quickly. Though not quickly enough for the young dwarf.

The trio’s arrival at riverport was marked with stares. Even though the Legionnaire armor probably had something to do with the heads that turned, the soldier was sure that his white haired companions probably were the main reason. Bowyn probably agreed with him because he returned each stare so forcefully that Arn feared violence at least a dozen times before then even exited the Helius landing station.
He silently enjoyed and marveled at the beauty of Rue’s wings as she stretched them and actual felt a bit ashamed that he had so brazenly stared but he could not help it. Nor did he fail to notice the look of longing from Bowyn. The remembrance of a remark that the young fairy lad had said when they first met rang in his mind. The winter fairy had lost his wings. The young dwarf could not even begin to imagine how that may feel.

Arn also did not know how he could help. Could wings even be re generated? As apendages, they were probably like hands or feet. Their loss, just as detrimental. For a being who had probably enjoyed the freedom of traveling across the skies at will, being grounded was probably worse. Then again, having flown inside an unnatural contraption probably felt like salt in the wounds after being kicked while down.

”So! Time to explore and also find food and shelter. I think I heard a dwarf say on the Helius there was an Inn here right? Well we should go find it!”

The young dwarf found himself following the pair. More or less like the wolf. Yet unlike the wolf, he was not really part of their circle. More than once he thought about just turning a corner and going a separate way but something made him stay. So he lingered, just a few steps away. What was it that kept him with them? Was it fear? There was certainly that. He feared the magnitude of his current situation and desired some company.

In the army, the shield walls of his companions offered solace and protection. It was said that dwarves, much like the stony mountains that they inhabited, were stronger together. Indeed, once a bond was made between two dwarves, they were practically inseparable. Perhaps that is what he feared the most. He had always felt like an outsider even amongst the shields of his brethren. Now that he was in the company of Winter Fairies, he felt even more alienated.

Such was his discomfort that he made up his mind to fade into the darkened shadows of the port town. The trio had arrived at what looked like some sort of odds and ends type of establishment. Probably the one of thousands in a city that was literally only purposed to trade. Rue seemed to be enjoying the fare. The young soldier figured that while the fairies were busy window shopping, his absence would not be missed. The two white haired youths would continue their lives without him and perhaps even fare better. After all, his mission was to aid a princess that was sure to dive head long into the war that was now bearing down upon them like run away Helius.

”… also the dwarf outfit, please…”

He caught the pretty young fairy’s sweet voice as he walked off. He hesitated. Had she thought of him merely out of politeness? Or had she somehow involuntarily included him in her circle? A dark part of his braid told him to keep walking. It was better this way. It was easier. It would be less heartbreaking wondering than knowing for sure that neither of them accepted him. Another part of him told him to be brave. Take a chance. He was a dammed dwarf was he not? Why would he not follow the craft of his people and forge a bond. The Gods knew that only strong bonds would survive the fires of war.

Arn stood a few steps away. Finally, swallowed hard and turned back. His voice was a bit tight as he tried to rein back the unpleasant emotions that had plagued him during their walk from the Helius. “I think a travel cloack would work for now Miss Rue. Will offering to pay for my own be thought impolite?” He truly did not know what the Winter Fairy social norms dictated in such situations.
He nodded at Bowyn’s suggestion. “Indeed, Bowyn, at the very least, finind an inn would provide a meal, and a place to rest. Perhaps a place to talk. I feel there is some things I owe the two of you.” His voice was apologetic. The soldier had made his mind to trust these two, for better or worse.

Time: 10 am, Soller
Location: Outside The Nest
Interactions: Nabarra @nasty, Yuka @princess, Aiko @CitrusArms
Equipment: Sword, bow and arrows, small knife, wayfinder, fire kit, a pouch with 117 amas

Orias studied his new acquaintances within The Leaky Tap Tavern as the light of day was slowly sapped away by accursed Halastra. Throughout the day and into the evening, Yuka spoke and conducted herself as if everything that was happening was nothing more than an exciting turn of events. Openly spoke against Kasai's regime as if war was but a children's game. The feline demihuman looked young even by the standards of her own race, but to an elf, even the oldest of demihumans was but an adolescent. Maybe that was why Roshmi seemed to lack strong leadership; no demihuman could ever hope to obtain the centuries of experience and wisdom that his people's elders could, they simply lacked the lifespan. He tried not to judge Yuka's immaturity too harshly even as she flirted with the bartender and asked irrelevant questions of the group. Normally he would’ve found another’s idle chatter a welcomed distraction, an opportunity to enjoy the company, but everything now felt too dire to relax. He felt a growing doubt at her ability to aid a resistance, to even understand the weight of such actions, but his memory of the effortless charisma she demonstrated with her earlier speech helped to fight his doubts back.

Throughout the afternoon he kept the cat mask on despite the occasional odd look from other patrons in order to ensure Nabarra did not stand out more. The atmosphere within the tavern was tense after everything that had happened. Nothing good would come of a tavern filled with angry and intoxicated creatures noticing a dark elf in their midst. Luckily most of the creatures in the tavern had larger concerns than elves in strange masks, and he overheard much talk of the coming dark elf occupation of Roshmi City. Those around them spoke of every bit of gossip and rumor they had heard of things to come, most of it had confirmed what they already suspected and some of it ranging to wildly far-fetched speculation.

He studied the reactions, words, and behavior of the fox demihuman Aiko closely, for he knew little of their opinions and motivations regarding the war. Orias kept his answers towards any questions directed his way short and clipped, and he avoided any outright talk of treason in a crowded tavern with acquaintances he barely knew. Strange how the one he trusted most was the dark elf in the group, but Nabarra had made her intentions quite clear earlier that day and he was now confident that her words were honest. He noticed Nabarra had grown quiet and wondered if this was more her nature than the demeanor he had witnessed earlier. It had even been some time since she had uttered a slew of profanity. Was this an attempt to not draw undue attention? Or had the scuffle on the rooftop she engaged in earlier taken more of a toll than he'd realized? The latter seemed likely as it took her several seconds to answer Yuka with her name.

“A meal sounds like a grand idea, perhaps somewhere quieter, where we can more openly converse. He suggested, while much of Roshmi seemed to be against King Kasai you could never be certain just who was listening in. “Or an evening walk around the shops before they close for the night. A Blas Bun and a hot sandwich sounds good right about now. I believe there is an apothecary nearby as well and keeping a few potions on hand would be wise.” He added, a walk would help burn off some of the anxious energy he felt. Just about any change of location would feel like an improvement to the growingly uncomfortably crowded tavern.

Myra watched as Traven's body fell into the water with a splashing sound, floating for a brief moment before it started to sink. Displaying no reaction or emotion, she looked at it almost as if she was watching a piece of driftwood. Just as Traven's body began to sink, Astra suddenly exclaimed something, asking if Myra had really just thrown him into the water. Looking at her a bit confused, Myra simply nodded, pointing at Traven's barely visible body, confirming what had happened to Astra. As she continued, she mentioned something called "Amas", speaking as if Traven had some with him. Curiously enough, Vrexen's reaction was very similar to Myra, who tilted her head, confused as Astra mentioned those strange "Amas" as if they were the most important thing in the world.

As Astra continued steering the boat, she called Vrexen and Myra to hear her explanation, taking a really pretty, small shiny stone from her clothes, holding up to both of them see. According to her explanation, that shiny thing was an "Ama". Amazed by how shiny it was, Myra felt a bit guilty for having just thrown Traven into the water. Who knows how many shinies he had with him? Maybe there were other, different types of shinies too. Curious about it, Myra slowly approached the "Ama" while Astra was explaining, amazed by how the faint light of the moon reflected on the small stone.

Having already arrived on land, Myra was about to jump out of the boat, excited for being able to walk on firm land again, before Astra mentioned something about "keeping low". Immediatelly stopping and looking at Astra, Myra, who was already halfway out of the boat, stepped back in, before she got down on all fours, lowering herself even more than she normally did when sneaking or hunting. As she did so, Myra finally got out of the boat, before looking back at Astra, almost as if asking if it that was low enough.

Kharne was blocking each blow from the troll his his armored forearms. Outside it looked like he was being overwhelmed but he was counting the seconds between each of the trolls punches and was looking for an opening. Not that he needed one after a bit, the young girl Raven blew the troll off in a burst of wind magic. Also a loud expletive exclamation. A thump to the ground and the giant reptilian man was on his feet. No fancy flips, just a show of power by striking the ground and up he went.

"Thank you." He rumbled out as he approached the impaled troll. A branch through the heart seemed to kill the regenerative little bastards. But he didn't take chances, a shift of his hands and a wrench of his shoulders pulled the trolls her off along with a small portion of spine. Then he went about collecting what could be useful from the corpse. Without proper tools transporting the organs wouldn't be feasible, organs decay far too quickly.

Turning to the rest he eyed the three humans for a moment. "I'm sure you understand there's a lesson here. Don't underestimate your opponents." He stated before scooping up his giant sword and slinging it over his shoulder and into its sheathe before the group trudged on towards the town.

When they got to town he waved off Annya's attempts to get him to go to the health center, he had only been punched a few times. He didn't get slammed into the ground like a ragdoll like she had, at most he had lost a bit of blood from his nose and the inside of his cheeks were bloody from his teeth. They'd heal fast enough, although the nose was already clotted. Still shortly after that Annya got the group a couple rooms and before he could do or say anything she paid extra to have a third room put in the 'girls side'.

Very obvious Annya did not participate in campaigns since she did that. Although Ismael could be a deviant.

The group rested, well the humans rested, Annya went off for something and Kharne did his own thing. Which was clean his blade, hone the edge, and clean the blood off his armor and scales. Without his armor on the group could see he had a great many scars darkening the white hide of his body. When Annya returned she handed him a bracelet, making him quirk an eyebrow. When did she measure his wrist? She explained it was a magical transponder and could be used to contact her own. "Work before play...they need equipment, Annya." Kharne said, he didn't think the whole group would be like monks and punch things. Little Red showed an aptitude for knives but the other two were unarmed aside from their magic.

Aiko Yume

Time: Evening
Location: Leaky Tap and Tavern
Interactions: Nabarra @nasty, Yuka @princess, Orias @Helo

"A good time is a good time, is it not?" Drugs

This lioness certainly had no qualms about an unusual number of things. She was fearless in conversation, perhaps that was how she had been able to entrance the crowd he'd seen earlier. She masked her words with pleasant tone, concealing their dangerous nature to the casual listening. If you don't act like you're doing anything wrong, folks don't tend to look too hard.

And then there were the masked individuals. There was something interesting about the woman in the cat mask, but Aiko was not very concerned about it. Something about her scent... Was it blood, or stress? Whatever it was, he understood needing to conceal things.

"The evening light is so much more agreeable. Gentler. The calm of the market as the bulk of people have gone home..." Aiko spoke softly as his eyes drifted over his companions, stopping on Nabarra curiously, "alas, our friend seems tired. Like you might want to lay down? I have a room upstairs, though only the one bed," his tone deflected the obvious implications with a mild regret, before perking back up, "seating enough for all. I'll even let you have the bed to yourself while you rest." The fox flicked his tail playfully, eyeing the lioness at the table with them, "I may have to fend a certain someone away, at that. Though perhaps we should eat first."

Rue

Time: Dusk
Location: Riverport -> Inn by the Sea
Interaction: @Helo Bowyn & @Omni5876 Arn
Equipment: Small backpack, two knives, rations, water flask, hygiene products

Rue was delighted when Bowyn picked out an outfit. She nodded to the shopkeeper to bring her the items. Once the purchases were made, Rue turned to Bowyn and handed him the outfit. Arn’s question made her hesitate for a brief second before a wide smile split across her face. ”Not at all, Arn. You can go to a tailor if you prefer a cloak.” Rue moved away from the Odds and Ends shop so others could buy their items.

She turned to face the Inn By the Sea and studied it inquisitively. The building was far from what she was used to; but so was everything else. Rue heard Arn and kept it in the back of her mind for now. She was eager to hear what he had to say, and the Inn was the best placed to have private conversations. She knew Bowyn wouldn’t want Arn to buy the rooms, and she wanted to cheer them up anyways. Thus, Rue ended up buying them two rooms and turned to smile at them. Rue then followed the Innkeeper to their rooms and waited for the men to catch up.

Saoirse

Time: Dusk
Location: Inn by the Sea
Interactions:@Tae Raven @Kazemitsu Kharne, @Th3King0fChaos Ismael, @princess Annya

Once the trolls were dead, the group had moved on. She’d watched Annya spring up and was surprised. Then again, she was probably used to way more damage. Saoirse had remained quiet after the attack. She’d been impressed with Ismael and Raven’s magic; they had lightning, wind, and also her fire. What a lethal combination they were. Finally they left the god forsaken troll-infested jungle and had reached Riverport. Shae tried not to look as if it was her first time there. The seagulls crying and the general hustle of the port town assaulted her senses and caused her to tense. All of the noise became overwhelming fast and the sea in her nostrils was unusual. Saoirse had rarely seen seagulls in her lifetime on Earth, so each time one cried, she flinched. She gritted her teeth and was thankful once they headed into the Inn. Saoirse sat down on a bed and kept a distance from the others. Her adrenaline had been high and finally she was coming down from it. How had the professional nerd handled it, she wondered, but didn't ask. She observed Kharne cleaning his sword's blade. How fascinating; although she referred to it as "glorified knife."

The warrior princess left and returned with an interesting looking bracelet that she called a “Transmission bracelet.” Saoirse imagined it similar to a phone. Next, Saoirse listened to Annya speak: a little shopping wouldn’t hurt, and Saoirse hoped to find different clothes. Being cooped up in the room to relax had grown old fast and Shae kept bouncing her legs to help rid herself of excess energy. When the dragonborn mentioned work before play, she found it incredibly difficult to withhold rolling her eyes and was lucky she achieved it. However, the idea of having equipment sparked an interest in her and her smile returned albeit faintly. More weapons made her feel more comfortable until she had control of her power. Saoirse was eager to learn how to use it better but a Port town was not the place suited for it. She glanced outside while she waited and then turned back moments later.

Time: Dusk
Location:The Leaky Tap Tavern and Inn
Interactions:@nasty Nabarra @Helo Orias @CitrusArms Aiko
Equipment: Dress and thigh-high socks(Slits on the inner sides of the sleeves), Black boots, Pouch with amas, Lipstick

Yuka stared back at the masked woman, more than understanding that her gaze was not a friendly one. If it had been a different circumstance, maybe she’d assume the woman was just so overtaken by Yuka’s beauty that she couldn’t help but sweat and breathe hard as she imagined what love-making would be like between the two of them. But this Nabarra was much too grumpy and frankly had been quite boring the last few hours. Now that Yuka’s attention was on her, she could catch the metallic scent of blood wafting from her torso. Her gaze locked on hip as she followed the scent while analyzing her posture. “Nabarra, huh? ...Nabby Babby, you should really speak up if you’re hurt.” She reached over and grabbed a shot glass from the bar table. The dim objection of someone yelling “Hey!” was just background noise to Yuka as she drank it. With a wild grin after she gulped it down, she added, “Don’t wanna end up dead.”

The masked male advised they go somewhere quieter to talk outside. She glanced at him as he suggested a blas bun and sandwich. The other male was quick to agree and argue that it was more agreeable to be in the calm and gentle of the night. He also suggested he'd have to fend Yuka out of his bed and she playfully leaned toward him, "Oh is that an invitation for me as well? I wonder if we'd all fit."

Though Yuka also loved the night, it was becoming established that these three did not like to party. That would have to change and Yuka loved a challenge. She was sure they'd be disappointed as she was certain the outdoors of Roshmi could end up quite chaotic with the arrival of dark elves. The efforts of her gossip this morning would certainly have developed into at least one or two full-blown riots by now. Her eyes lit up and suddenly going outside of the tavern seemed like a lot more fun than it initially had.

“Oh Koldar! A romantic walk in the night with little ol me! So cute!” Yuka exclaimed with a giggle. She jumped off to her feet with only slightly less than her usual grace and moved into the general area of the tavern, “We better make haste for a potion then before Nabarra over there keels over!”

The humans were very fragile. She felt a small tug of guilt upon her chest from when Jomari had become upset over her changing. Music was heralded as a therapeutic device, in not just elves but many others creatures, as well. It tugged at her to think she could have made things worse. Her father had taught her this, many times. However, she felt responsible for not administering a universal medicine properly. It was her inexperience, and in her inexperience, she became aware on the carrier was leading her down a narrow alley of darkness. Her age was showing in her conscious.

Aurora’s fingers were intertwined together, as she sat longingly on the carrier. Her blind gaze fixated on her inward world, a universe she desired much more than the outside beauties, which tried to taunt her — more so as a child than now. Her hair was modestly pushed under he snow white cloak, and the movement swayed her vestment carefully. She had little words for the humans, at the moment. Their temperaments had a power she desired not to touch. It seemed best if the other elves dwelt in conversation with them as she merely observed from her spiritual point. Becoming too attached now would leave her vulnerable towards a peaceful alignment.

A small smile perched on her lips. It had been an eventful handful of hours. They came and went so quickly, yet their memories were seen quite boldly on the tapestry of the humans’ minds. She wondered how finely they were embroidered. What details would show when the tapestries were finished? They were such delicate creatures, and yet… she dared not finish this thought. It was too impatient to force its finality, much as the Dark Elves delighted. Patience was ultimately what Aurora needed to remeasure within herself. Time was not on their side, and many quickenings were needed. However, there was no use in impatience. On the spiritual level, all was bound to play itself the correct note within the timeframe that the current situation was singing.

Time: Dusk
Location: Ship-At the Helm
Interactions: @Alivefalling Barboda @princess Helio @Infinite Cosmos Tesoro @Helo Nym @Potter Tigerlily
Mentions:
Equipment:

Lizzie was grateful to Helio and Barboda for giving her a rundown of the world and helping her decide on a heading. She knew she’d eventually have to be honest with the rest of the crew on who she was, but not quite yet. She needed to be extra sure none of them were going to sell her out. The one she worried about the most was Tesoro, with him being a previous captain and having lost that position she wouldn’t put it past him to try to acquire it once again. She’d spent years already under the thumb of a captain, it was her turn to have a crack at it. She wasn’t about to give it up easily.

After they had emerged from the captain’s quarters, Éliane decided to take her leave. She’d held up her end of the bargain and found Lizzie a ship and crew. Lizzie was grateful to the woman, though she wasn’t about to force anyone to stay aboard the ship. In fact, before leaving port she’d asked if any others wished to leave as well. Soon enough they were headed out to sea. She’d also acquired a new hat that had been in the captain’s quarters. It wasn’t exactly what she wanted and would look into getting a new one to suit her tastes, but it was decent enough.

Lizzie didn’t just stand aside and bark orders at everyone, no she engaged in getting the ship going. She helped those that seemed to be lacking in knowledge of a ship and she was very involved. Soon enough people seemed to be getting the hang of things. Nym also seemed to be quite the hard worker, helping others as well. Now, as dusk fell upon them, Lizzie stood at the helm to make sure they kept course. Barbuda approached and informed her that the cannons were loaded and ready to go in case anything were to happen. ”Thank you Barboda, that will be very helpful. Hopefully we won’t come across said terrible beasty. Before we get too far into dangerous waters, though, I say we have ourselves a little celebration.” She gave him a wide grin before looking over the deck of the ship.

”Gather ‘round mates! I want to thank each of you for getting this vessel in shipshape. You all worked hard today and I’m very impressed with each of you. In honor of your hard work today I say we splice the mainbrace. What say ye, are ya up for some fun tonight?” She addressed everyone, ready to have someone retrieve some of the alcohol and pass it around.

Time: Dusk
Location: On the deck of the Harem
Interactions: No one in particular
Equipment: The clothing on his back: A unbuttoned dress shirt of the pirate-y variety, leather breeches, matte black in color, leather boots, in surprisingly good shape

After his words towards Tigerlily, it seems like the ship hummed into motion. The ship itself was not moving, but there was a flurry of activity. Crew members moved about getting the ship ready to sail. Tesoro offered his help wherever needed. It felt good to be working a ship again. It was something he always liked doing. There are captains out there that never got their hands dirty, but Tesoro was never like that. He worked alongside his crew, acting more as bosun or carpenter than a captain.

The thought of this made the fact that he was thrown off his ship through a mutiny hurt that much more...

Tesoro kept working, making sure to keep away from Tigerlily as much as he could. Tying down the barrels below, stowing away whatever cargo or supplies they had. Tesoro of course took some time to observe the deck. Who was doing what task, who was good at which task. Call it an occupational hazard. He then turned his head slightly away from what he was working on when Lizzie called out to the crew about pouring everyone a drink. Tesoro sighed slightly. Sure, it was the pirate's way of life, to live freely and enjoy the moment. However, Tesoro's previous concerns were not quelled and now Lizzie wants to essentially throw a small feast. Tesoro shook his head and looked to the skies to try to determine their heading.

Dreaded Isles. Of course. Lots of monsters, possibility of plunder, overall adventure.

"I'll have water. With where we're going, someone has to keep their wits about them..." Tesoro said, to no one in particular as he continued working on making sure the ship is as ready as it can be.
