Astra watched Myra in anticipation while Vrexen watched from the corner of his eye. His curiosity had grown towards Myra’s ability to speak but he’d never make that obvious. Astra was far more invested, as she should have been. Myra being able to speak with fluidity would open countless opportunities herself and better yet, for Astra. She leaned in closer to Myra when the demon showcased a look of determination.

Confidence!
Conviction

The two were indeed impressed, even when Myra spoke in a broken tongue. Vrexen found Myra's attempt at a purchase adequate due to her getting her point across. Astra wouldn't be so easily satisfied. Full sentences out of Myra were the goal for Astra. With enough time, she wouldn't need Vrexen and his savage nature.

Astra and Vrexen might have supervised the rest of Myra's transaction, but the approach of a well-dressed dark elven male grabbed their attention. Unlike the other dark elves in the market, he was not sporting a military uniform. In fact, Astra found the dark elf to be rather dashing. She smiled and brushed away any strands of hair from her face. His interest was in her company, but the dark elf was addressing her.

“Well, yes. The Twin-” Astra felt a large hand grasp her shoulder and guide her aside. “Ugh.” She simply scowled at Vrexen, not having any other option in protesting his actions.

“Move.” Vrexen stepped forward to address the stranger who voiced an interest in his kind. Enough to approach in an attempt to feed his curiosity, or perhaps it was something more than just that. He sized up the stranger some, peering at the elf briefly without uttering a word. “Your magic… It’s dense.” He glanced at Astra, silently comparing the two before he finally answered the dark elf. “Your twin heads summoned seven of my siblings. Each powerful in their own right…”

“What’s your interest in them, anyway? You don’t appear to be a soldier unless military officers had their uniforms upgraded to make them more attractive conquerors.” Astra chuckled. She glanced back at Myra, seeing that the orc had actually been quite fair to her in giving her the difference back with three gold amas. The shopkeeper handed Myra her purchase with a stone-faced expression but cracked a small grin at her when he believed no one else was looking.

Aiko Yume

Time: Morning
Location: Leaky Tap and Tavern
Interactions: Yuka @princess, Orias @Helo, Xavier @Omni5876
Mentions: Nabarra

When Yuka approached, Aiko welcomed her warmly. The ambient energy wafting off of her was delicious. They were too busy fighting fires last night to do much better than break even by the time folks started walking up. A brief breath of vital vapors. She retreated all too quickly, but he would just have to make do.

"She was not with me, and nowhere to be found. I can only assume she recovered after I administered the antidote and made off. Can't blame her, after last night. I wouldn't be too keen to stick around, either."

The question was given to them, of their next destination. The demi-human-shaped succubus pondered briefly, though their preference was not hard to settle. "The stout folks of Ironhold would surely be a great benefit, yes?" And they'd be less likely to sniff them out. Somehow, the River Fairy Kingdom felt like the bigger threat to Aiko's cover story. At the same time, "though, the fairies of the river would have useful magics for our cause. It would be foolish to ignore their talents. Perhaps we can make plans to go there from Ironhold." Perhaps we can send someone else there and I can dodge the ordeal.

Rue

Time: Morning
Location: Surfside Cafe > Beach
Interaction: @Helo Bowyn, Annya @princess, Raven/Eris @Tae
Mention: Arn @Omni5876, Trio - Shade, Katanna, Rocco
Equipment: Small backpack, two knives, rations, water flask, hygiene products, new outfit

Rue had given Bowyn a frown upon his comment toward Arn, but kept her comments to herself. Arn had looked taken aback and upset and her heart ached for him. She had eaten her breakfast quietly, a little overwhelmed from all the company they had. She wasn’t used to dining with so many, however it was interesting to listen to the conversation. When the meal was complete, the decision was to go to the beach for slime day. She decided to stay amongst those enjoying the beach as she had never had the chance to do so before. Moonlight had returned to her room for the event. It would be too hot for him and she didn’t want him to suffer. She’d left plenty of water and food for him as well. While on her way to the beach, she passed the strange trio again. The orc looked rather happier than he’d earlier, and she could assume they were on their way to the blacksmith. The light elf winked at her and after telling her to enjoy the beach while the feline remained stoic.

Rue soon found herself with the girls and Bowyn sitting on blankets in the sand, a little ways away from all the slime fighting. It had intrigued her to join them but she decided against it. She was not sure what to say to anyone else, so she picked up a pretty seashell and handed one to the white-haired girl named “Valerie” with a soft smile. Rue then found another one and gave it to Bowyn. ”Look! Seashells. Aren’t they so pretty?” Rue pulled over a few more and began handing them to everyone as an offering of friendship and conversation. She pulled over a few and began to make a small seashell castle by their towel. The sunlight reflected off her wings and she made sure not to stretch them again in front of Bowyn. She’d remembered his expression after doing so after leaving the amora, so she ignored them and tried enjoying the sun.

Tigerlily

Time: Dusk
Interaction: Lizzie @Tae, Barboda @Alivefalling, Helio @princess
Tesoro aka “Rat” @Infinite Cosmos, Nym @helo, @FunnyGuy “Two Lesser Known Twins” & Liliana
Location: Barboda's Ship - Living Quarters
Equipment:

Tigerlily waited much like Nym with her arms folded. Captain Lizie’s soft words to Tesoro made her raise her eyebrows. She viewed them as a family, and her vulnerability surprised even Tigerlily. She was quiet for a moment. Was this it? After a few long, miserable years…? She bit her lip and pushed it out of her mind for now. She needed to focus. When Ardyn’s crew spoke up, proposing a tax, she began laughing loudly in the background. A tax to sail the seas? How dare they think they could claim it? Fury grew inside of her and she resisted the urge to murder these roaches right now. This crew was out of their damned minds. However she stopped laughing to allow Lizzie to speak while the roaches’ attention was spared by Tesoro. She nodded in agreement as she began surveying their surroundings. The ocean was quite agitated. Lily glanced at the Captain with furrowed brows and turned away with a smirk. If it was true…

The Rat spoke up and she regrettably decided to listen to him. She stared at him with disbelief and rolled her eyes. ”I don’t think I need to explain myself. You’d best put those plugs if this turns to a fight as you will lose your hearing temporarily, if the other crew doesn’t have them already...” Tigerlily noted his soft tone and decided not to comment further so as not to upset him or Lizzie. She glanced at the schooner and knew it’d be possible they had their own defense mechanism for handling sirens, and knew she’d have to find another way to fight.

She moved over to the edge, but not close enough to be in danger of falling over. She examined the water and glanced back at the schooner. There was a chance the bastard had a siren. She glanced over the crew quickly and noted the mixed races. Thus far, they didn’t seem to recognize her, and she was quite glad she’d changed her appearance. She moved back to Lizzie’s side and spoke softly. Her mind raced as she began thinking of how to find the main roach. ”He’ll have a siren, whether on the main ship or in the waters where I can assist ye. I’ve had my fair share of siren fights. You’re right that his main ship could be cloaked in light or dark magic. He may even be on the ship already while invisible.. A light elf as old as the Bastard is, will have mastered the art of light magic.” She glanced at Nym with her voice as quiet as possible, though knowing it’d only be safe for one to possibly leave. Also, she'd have to watch out for nets. How she hated them and caused her fury to grow.”What do you say on checking out the se-”

Tigerlily’s sentence was cut short. Barbuda had moved forward and murdered the forest fairy. Shocked, she turned to stare at him. ”Barboda, what the fuck?” She cried as she glanced around. Furious, she looked to Lizzie for orders, frustrated now by their situation. She didn’t want to die fighting some stupid battle caused by a helmeted weirdo. Her gaze locked onto Tesoro who was staring at her and she frowned. What the hell did he want? She inhaled sharply as he came at her abruptly and took a few steps back with fear. It reflected in her eyes as her mind replaced him with a dark elf. She tensed up as his feathery light touch brushed her side as a slight rattle told her he’d swiped her dagger.

Frozen and speechless, she stood there unable to move. His words replayed in her mind as her heart rate increased. She couldn’t help but smirk though at his wink and reined in her anger over having it stolen. Her smile was much less friendly than it was wicked. If looks could have killed… ”You’d best give me the dagger back or you’ll find out what I can do later.” She noted his position would be the first person the other crew would meet if they came aboard. With that taken care of, she glanced at Lizzie. ”Captain, would you like me to stay aboard or go underwater? I’ll bet Ardyn’s going to appear now. They’ll likely have another fairy aboard their main ship since they can heal." Whether or not she knew it, she decided to state it anyways. Her suspicion was growing more over the captain as the sea remained agitated and rocked their ship. Her instincts told her to abandon ship, yet she remained steadfast and glanced at Nym then studying their surroundings.

Nabarra was apparently gone, which Yuka found herself indifferent to. Though she had been fun to rile up and possibly more fun if drugged, Yuka found her personality to be a possible clash with the upbeat environment she preferred. She shrugged it off with ease and focused on her cute male companions that she had collected. Koldar answered her question with two suggestions. Yuka considered his's words for a moment, thoughtfully tapping her chin with her nail. "Mmm yeah you got a point there. Ironhold..." She held up her hands and opened them, laying out her palms like a scale, lifting her left for the first option, then slowly lowering it and raising her right palm, "Orrrr River Kingdom."

As Aiko voiced his opinion, Yuka raised her hand representing Ironhold up,
"Cute little men with big, not-so-cute, yet powerful weaponry... Or gorgeous fairies with mysterious alcohol and enchanting magic?"

Yuka smiled wide and lifted both her hands into the air, "Both!" She exclaimed in agreement with Aiko and hopped off the bar. She grabbed the arm of a random man sitting at the bar without looking over at him, "Ey you. Amoras are all piled in with dark elves or what?"

"Uhhh.. Yes, ma'am. I heard they're occupied with dark elves being flown in. But, I think they're not using the amora site up in the Avian Kingdom if you could manage to get up there."

Yuka let go of his arm and shook her hand as if she had just touched something dirty. "Sure can." She glanced at her three companions, "Well. I know a way up if you three are ready to leave. Any questions or objections?"

Alaia Riluaneth

Time: Morning
Location: Aldrakh
Interactions: @princess Maeryn
Equipment: Outfit, Two short swords, a belt with sheaths, flask, transmission bracelet, small bag with 4 large blue potions

Alaia followed Maeryn into the market, looking around at the place only noticing that it seemed worse than living in the slums of Malthemoor. The big hulking orcs looked like they smelled worse than a pile of corpses. She grimaced at them only to have her attention pulled by Maeryn’s voice. She looked up at him then followed his gaze to two demons by a stall. She didn’t feel phased by them at all but she looked to Maeryn anyway with fearful eyes, ” Oh no I hope you will be able to protect me if something happens.” She was really thinking ‘Oh father, everyone is my toy to play with and to cut up to see how they work. Even demons!’

Alaia paused in place to keep the act up “Uh… I am a little scared. I am not sure I want to go.” Moments later she flew behind him quickly staying at his back. She watched as the disgusting white thing spoke and thought about disemboweling it. Imagining her intestines all over the ground gave Alaia goosebumps. She looked at the female dark elf and then the oversized red mut. That girl is uglier than the demons. Ugh. She thought and then managed a smile, ”Oh father! That red creature is beautiful.” She flapped her wings up and flew over to the creature to gently pet his head, ”What a lovely being you are.” She flew back quickly to avoid any counter move by the demon.

Caelan Knight

Time: Morning
Location: Myriamor
Interactions: @princess Sophie @Mole Aurora @FunnyGuy Slick@Helo Leaf
Equipment: A D&D miniature, a blunt, and the clothes he was given

Caelan glanced around at the stalls with interest. This festival seemed much more fun than walking through the humid woods all day. He looked at all the bizarre clothing and items. “I want to go swimming and play games! What about you guys?” He said to the group excitedly. He watched a man come over with drinks.

Caelan then took one immediately, so fast that the man seemed shocked, then downed it before taking another. He gave the man a pleasant smile. “Thank you!” He added. Caelan then walked over to a stand selling swimwear. “Yo, how much are these?”

”Hello sir! Each swimsuit is five amas each.”The merchant replied.

”I would like to buy this one.” It was oddly designed but he liked the swirl pattern on the shorts. Caelan handed the amas over, taking the shorts before heading back to the group. “Guys the swimsuits are five amas over there.”

Helio had been sprawled out in the crow's nest, his legs hanging through the gaps of the fencing."Noo behave, girls. Not the knees..."He muttered in his sleep, chuckling quietly. It was not long before his eyes suddenly burst open. In a haze of confusion, he quickly jumped to his feet as the sound of random voices filled the air. "She's just a friend I swear!" He exclaimed, looking around wildly. The sight of the sky before him made him do a double-take. The sound of the water gently cradling the ship reached his ears and threw him for a loop. It took him a moment to register recent events and process where he was as his gaze lowered toward the deck of the ship below him.

"Oh... Everyone's up already?" He rubbed his head as fatigue set in. His back ached and he felt even dizzier than his usual hangovers as the ship rocked on the sea. His lips parted and his brows furrowed as he watched Helmet Head launch an bolt from his crossbow. His gaze followed the bolt as it reached the other ship. He titled his head at this new information. "Another ship... Wait. Another ship!? Shit!" Helio could assess that there were definitely way more people on the other guy's ship. He knew better than to hesitate during a battle where they were outmatched. The timing was awfully unfortunate. He had been up late drinking and flirting way too much with the women on the ship. He had gotten five hours of sleep at best.

He shook his head in annoyance, then began to form dark energy in one hand. It was a black, dense mass with dark clouding that surrounded it, which seemed to coat his forearm as the ball was created. His wings flapped as he took flight and began to descend quickly. He launched a decently sized orb of darkness towards the deck of the other ship, "It's not even fucking noon!" He yelled with exasperation and anger at them.

Helio was known to be quite irritable when he was hungover and low on sleep.

Aurora enjoyed the light breakfast, using her cutlery and other such utensils with graceful gestures that paralleled that of a creature with his eye sight. Her senses told her to ignore the small-winged one. Romance was such a monster at times. It was much like the tongue, such a small but powerful thing. When the two combined, she would rather not listen. However, the small creature came and began entertaining her intoxicated self with her hair.

”…” Aurora has nothing to say as she allowed the movement to hum through her hair. The tipsy sounds were pleasant in their own right. Unfortunately, there was little Aurora felt she could do to truly dissuade the pixie from minding herself so selfishly. Her endeavors appeared so remote and distracted by the liquor that Aurora found perhaps the little one would be more secure in her strands of hair.”You are causing quite a sensation, my little dear one,” she smiled sweetly. The knit in her brows loosened, and a gentle look softened her usual face of concern. ”I have quite the responsibility, now, do I not? How am I to do anything with you being languid? You ought to hold stronger to your convictions.”

Her head tilted as a small laugh sighed from her. Despite her relaxed disposition, her mind was combing through her dream. It seemed suitable, now that the dream has happened. If not for her father, she wished for Nuállan to be near for some sort of dutiful conversation. Princess Rosaria should have been made aware of her vision, but the light elf has hesitated. Yet, it may very well be nothing but a glimmer of a false reality. She hoped so, if not for herself then for most certainly her loyalties.

Xavier

Time: Morning
Location: Tavern
Interactions: Orias @helo, Aiko @CitrusArms, Yuka @princess
Xavier’s Equipment: His sword, and
outfit

Xavier listened to Yuka’s friends and she conversed. He was quiet and eying the scenery with interest. It looked much like home to him, although the occupants were strange. There were the pointy-eared folk apparently called elves, and more animal-human hybrids and some people with wings. He saw a few tall green beasts too. Knowing his starring might catch attention, he turned back to the others. He noted the creatures and reminded himself to ask Yuka about them later.

When Koldar mentioned the Black Market, his eyes widened. What? A black market and dragons? This is crazy... What else does this world have? Panic settled in his eyes and he glanced at Yuka. Fortunately the conversation moved quickly. Someone named “Nabbarra” had disappeared which he found cumbersome and mysterious. Did people disappear often here? He frowned and folded his arms, feeling hot in the weird cloak but not complaining as he was grateful for Yuka’s help. The locations “Ironhold” and “River Kingdom,” both sounded fascinating places with more interesting creatures. He watched Yuka figuratively weigh the decisions and started chuckling to himself. What was an Amora, he wondered? He cleared his throat and nodded as if he understood what was going on. ”Alright. Let’s go.” He glanced at the others with a charming smile. ”Before the dark elves take all the good seats.”

The sea began to grow agitated, Nym could feel it in the rocking of the ship, although the clouds had spoken of no storm on the horizon. The sea wanted violence, and she was the only god he bowed to, and her request would have to be honored. If Ardyn was lying in wait somewhere with another ship, as Lizzie expected, getting rid of this first ship seemed the best way to even the playing field. It was Barboda who first answered the call for violence, shooting the fairy from the sky, and filling the briny air with a hint of metallic blood. His nostrils flared taking in the scent, feeling the charge of excitement rush through him. The bit of magic his heritage granted him hardened his skin, no longer smooth but sandpaper course and tough enough to withstand a blade.

He didn’t wait to hear the end of Lizzie and Tigerlily’s conversation. As Tesoro ran off with a stolen dagger to wait for the enemy to board the ship, Nym took off towards the storage area for the powder and a firestarter. Upon his return, Nym caught sight of Helio who sprang up from the crow’s nest and shot an orb of dark energy at the enemy ship. Funny, he’d always thought that was a strictly dark elf sort of ability. And every second the fairy prince gets a little more interesting. He thought before he returned his focus to his own task of loading a cannon with grapeshot and preparing to fire it. He would wait for the right moment, when the rest of the enemy would emerge from the belly of their own ship, to ensure as much damage as possible. He had no guns, no crossbow, and no magic orbs to fire, so until the enemy boarded a cannon was his best bet.

Leaf followed along with the group, eyes kept watchful for any sign of danger, believing this entire day was going to be a very long job interview with Slick, bounty hunter extortionate. And it was important to watch for danger as this group was made up of traveling companions that were friends with not just one, but two princesses. There was Sophie, owner of the pet pixie, who was an alleged excellent cook and sweet on Slick. Caelen, who did in fact smell a bit like zemak, which meant the pixie’s information was probably accurate. So he kept a healthy distance from Aurora, who Alette had claimed had contagious blindness and Leaf didn’t want to catch any strange elf illnesses.

He had, begrudgingly, admitted to Slick that not only had the pixie offered up much more information than he’d been able to gather, but what she said had checked out with the bits he’d overheard. So, even though he was a bit annoyed to be outdone by a pixie it was hard to hold any sort of grudge against Alette, especially after she flew off and returned with a fella offering drinks.

“Absolutely!” Leaf said to the man offering the colorful drinks. He didn’t think twice about enjoying the drink while technically working as Slick didn’t seem like the uptight sort. “A must-try during your visit here, if you want the full Myraimor experience.” He added before thanking the man with the drinks. Caelan mentioned playing games, which was entirely agreeable, and then swimming which sounded terrible. He’d already had his unfortunate tumble into a fountain earlier that day and he did not want to repeat the experience.

“Seeing as how I am not a catfish I’ll have to pass. But the oasis here is the finest water in all of Avalia.” Leaf said with his signature toothy grin. He found playing tour guide much more enjoyable than looking for orcs.

Time: Morning
Location: Roshmi City

“Excellent. I’m ready to go.” Orias said, a bit surprised that they’d all come to a unanimous agreement so easily. He had no interest in lingering in Roshmi any longer than they had to; it would only make leaving harder and nothing he owned was worth risking a confrontation with dark elves. He would leave with what he carried with him, from the brief conversation Yuka had with a random man at the bar it sounded like dark elves were already making it hard to leave the city.

“A round of shots for the road.” He said, flagging down the bartender and gesturing to the group. Once they were poured he held up the small shot glass of liquid courage. “Here’s to Roshmi, and to us.” He said before downing the shot and hopping off the barstool.

“So what’s the plan Yuka? Got some potions that grant flight? A stash of hoverboards perhaps? Or, did you really snatch us up a dragon after all?” He asked, curious as to how she planned to get a group of four non-flying folks up to Avian City. At least, he had assumed none of them could fly, then again Aiko had the surprising ability to shapeshift. “Unless you can grow wings as well?” He added glancing at the shapeshifting fox.

Aiko Yume

Time: Morning
Location: Leaky Tap and Tavern
Interactions: Yuka @princess, Orias @Helo, Xavier @Omni5876

It was early, but Yuka's antics were refreshing. Or perhaps it was her ambiance. Whatever the case, Aiko was appreciative of her presence. The past couple of days had them in a funk without them really realizing, but they were starting to feel a little better.

"Yes, I don't suppose I'll be back for a while. Hmm.. no, I don't need anything." Aiko picked up a napkin from a table and approached Yuka, taking her hand a wiping it for her. "No, I don't sprout wings, sorry." A careful half-truth. Their shape shifting was, in fact, limited.

He leaned back on the bar, "hey, boss. You can pack my things up, if you need the room. I'm going to get out of the city for a while." There wasn't anything important to grab, and nothing embarrassing for the man to have to touch. Mostly just some clothes. He left the napkin on the counter.

"I suppose they probably leave it alone because it's a pain to get to. Wouldn't you?" Ah, but if they kept talking, they'd never go anywhere. "Since we're all in agreement, let's go." The fox moved to the door, peeking out for anything strange before waiting to open it for his companions. On to a place with, hopefully, a better pick of dreams to sup from.

Maeryn met the eyes of the red being as he spoke. He had heard rumors of the Sevens Sins being summoned but he had not been certain it would be followed through on. This news was bittersweet as power of that magnitude could aid in vanquishing the humans, but could also be dangerous if aimed towards their people. Could they trust their beings? There wasn't much history for reference, but with a threat like this, at least in Maeryn's opinion, this risk was potentially worth it. His eyes slid to the dark elf now as she spoke and exhaled gently before replying. His expression remained unchanged. "You are correct. I am not a soldier. I am simply a hunter who wishes to hunt before he is hunted."

He began to carefully decide on his next sentence, only to be interrupted by the sound of his daughter. He watched in apprehension as she went to pet the demon. Maeryn wished she'd listen to him for once, but knew the sweet girl was innocent and naive. It could not be helped. He gave Alaia a stern look, warning her with his gaze to halt her current activity. "My apologies. Fairies are of the affectionate sort. She will not touch you again."

Hoping to get something out of this before things potentially escalated up the wrong path, Maeryn quickly continued speaking, "I am here to gather information regarding the location of humans. If you have information that could perhaps aid in my task or a similar objective, I would be grateful to hear what you are willing to share."

Time: Morning
Location: Myriamor Plaza- Summer Harvest Festival
Interactions: Leaf @Helo, Sophie @princess, Aurora @Mole, Caelan @Alivefalling,
Mentions: Alette @princess

To the rear of the group Slick strolled along comfortably, guiding Champ by the reins through the outdoor market area that was hosting a festival. Slick could admit that the scenery was quite nice with its display of vibrant decorations and rich produce. That was all good and well, sure, but the drinks and gambling being offered are what the man out of the old west fancied.

Getting to know the rest of the folk in the group was also desired. The information Alette had provided was far more accurate than he initially thought. It helped that Leaf found confirmation in certain things the pixie alluded to, but Slick felt embellishment was afoot. Addin’ a lil’ bit of truth to a lie gave the lie somethin’ to stand on in the face of a skeptic. In any case, the man would get to know thr half of the group remaining in Myriamor.

The entire party appeared to be excited. The lovely Sophie was eyeing the pool filled with playing children, a yearning in her deep blue eyes. Alette had fancied herself enough to drink to make her a happy woman today and miserable one tomorrow.

“I want to go swimming and play games! What about you guys?” Slick noted Caelan’s liveliness and found it to be a good trait for one to have. A young man ready to engage life and experience the world around him. He found Leaf to be a bit like that as well.

“Would anyone like to try the Myriamor Mix? Made with the freshest fruit from the harvest. Do be advised as the liquor is quite strong.” Slick chuckled as he witnessed Caelan snatch himself up one of the drinks from the man serving them. He was a bit impressed to see the young man down the drink with ease and grab a second without a lick of hesitation. Slick could have watched what the Caelan was fixing to do next but the idea of free alcohol stole away his attention. Leaf speaking favorably of the Myriamor Mix only made it impossible to simply pass up. Then again, even if the drink tasted of piss he’d indulge. It didn’t cost a penny and a free drink was the best drink.

“My pleasure.” He smiled as he grabbed himself a drink with his free hand. Unlike Caelan, he took a sip to savor the taste of the beverage. “I’ll be damned.” He peered into the cup, shrugged, and chugged down the rest before taking another. The drink was absolutely delicious!

“Guys the swimsuits are five amas over there.” Caelan had informed.

“Seeing as how I am not a catfish I’ll have to pass. But the oasis here is the finest water in all of Avalia.”

“I’ll pass as well. I ain’t fixin’ to get wet and that water can stay fine right over there.” Slick was just about to take a sip of his second drink but stopped as his eyes caught Aurora with Alette using her hair as a plaything. Mighty close to that contagious blindness, ain’tcha? Slick shook his head at the pixie before approaching the noteworthy elf. The white of her hair and eyes, the paleness of her skin, and what he could gather from her nature so far gave off an air of both grace and delicacy.

“Auror-ra? I say that right? You fancy havin’ one of these drinks? I think everyone is in agreement that this here stuff is quite tasty.” Slick shrugged and chuckled at his own words. “Hell, who am I kiddin’, everything’s tasty here.” He offered the drink as a kind gesture, but also pitied the woman due to her affliction.

Time: Morning
Location: Tavern --> Emergency Amora Station outside Roshmi -- Avian City
Location: @Potter Xavier @CitrusArms Aiko @Helo Orias
Equipment: Dress and thigh-high socks(Slits on the inner sides of the sleeves), Black boots, Pouch with amas, Lipstick, Mysterious bag of fun drugs

Yuka's brows lifted with curiosity. Xavier was being a lot more compliant than she had thought he would be. She supposed when one was in an unfamiliar realm, there was not much choice. She got a glimpse of his cute smile even under his hood and giggled to herself. Oh I love men! To her delight, the men around her kept replying with agreeance to her proposal. Koldar was ready to go and was calling the bartender down to bring them shots and Aiko seemed ready to go too. She met his eyes as he wiped her hand for her, meeting his gaze with a flirtatious one. "What a sweetheart my Aiko is. I could just kiss you."

She caught a shot glass in her hand and raised it, "To Roshmi and to us! Well said Koldar!" She hung her head back and downed it, wondering if they all were only going to have one shot. She normally helped herself to at least six, especially when times called for celebration. "Oh gosh. This is a bonding moment isn't it? The four of us ought to have an exciting name for our party of misfits! What should we call it? Hmm..." Just as she was bringing everything into a tangent as always, she was caught off guard by Orias's questioning.

"My plan... Oh yes." She suddenly reached in between her breasts and pulled out a pamphlet casually. She opened it and showed it to three. She pointed with her nail, "Lookie here. An emergency amora station to the Avian Kingdom was set up by, you guessed it, the Avians, outside of Roshmi in response to all this war stuff. These papers are like all over the place! I can kinda tell from the map on here where it is so I'll just lead us there."

And with that, Yuka led them outside the tavern and towards the location noted on the pamphlet. After some time, they arrived at a clearing just outside the walls of Roshmi where a makeshift landing area had been created. An amora was docked and boarding already by the time they arrived. The amora waiting there was smaller than the usual but seemed to be able to fit twenty at a time. Yuka gestured for them to follow her on as she sat down on a long wooden bench on the ship. She glanced at Xavier, already feeling amusement as she awaited his reaction. Were there amoras on Earth? She wondered if how strange this all was to him. Once the amora took flight, the group found themselves stepping off into the beautiful Avian City.

"Sooo I don't think that baby Amora flies long distance so we'll have to find the landing dock up here that has the big one... Might also end up costing us some amas to ride this next one." Yuka told them. Winged demihumans of all sorts were stopping to glance their way with curiosity. Yuka playfully posed for them as she gave her comrades a moment to catch their breath.

Time: Morning
Location: Myriamor Plaza- Summer Harvest Festival
Interactions: Caelan @Alivefalling, Aurora @Mole Slick @FunnyGuy Leaf@Helo
Equipment:Clothing,Backpack, Sketchbook with drawings, various drawing supplies, iPhone, a PBJ sandwich, charging cable, strawberry pocky, earphones, and a pouch with two rations of food, water flask, a bar of soap and a few other portable hygienic products.

Sophie smiled at Caelan's statement. It was adorable how excited he was and quite contagious. She found herself excited too. She watched with surprise as he drank his entire cocktail in one gulp. She wondered how he was able to drink all that alcohol so fast. Didn't it taste bitter? She had never tried to do so nor even gotten intoxicated before, so she supposed she wouldn't be able to know without trying. She hoped she wouldn't get drunk and embarrass herself. Well. When in Rome. Or should I say.. When in Avalia? She took a drink off the tray, "Thank you so much!" She took a deep breath and sipped it from the straw. Her eyes lit up in delight. It didn't taste bad at all. It tasted like a wonderful tropical smoothie. Her eyes shut with pleasure as she sipped away at it like a soda. Soooo good!

"Listen here! Just because!" Alette's voice was just barely audible through the air. Sophie opened her eyes to watch her hiccup and interrupt herself. "Just because you are PRETTY and your voice is all pretty! Doesn't mean! I am gonna try to understand your big, funny words!" Alette fluttered from her hair and about the area until she almost crashlanded onto a nearby plant. She curled up on a leaf, possibly too intoxicated to do much else. Sophie thought this was for the best.

Meanwhile, though Slick and Leaf also seemed eager to enjoy the drinks, they did not seem interested in going for a swim, which was unfortunate. Sophie really wanted to get to know them better. Slick spoke like how she would expect a cowboy to sound and then just to behold Leaf, a bipedal, talking Cheetah, was an entirely indescribable experience. They both were so cool! Though she wanted to hang out with them, she felt bad that Caelan wanted to swim and no one else seemed to be volunteering to join him. He had been so kind to her she couldn't possibly leave him on his own. Besides, if this was the finest water in Avalia, she had to swim in it."Slick and Leaf right? I'm happy to hang out with you guys today! I am going to go for a swim and then come back after. Please take good care of each other and Aurora." Sophie found the words tumbling out of her mouth much more than usual. As the man with the drinks was walking away, Sophie quickly reached for another one before he left. They were just too good to pass up!

The man gave her a concerned look and tried to warn her that she was on the smaller side and thus should exercise some caution, but she did not hear him over the sound of the musicians starting to play their song louder. She joined Caelan at the swimsuit stall, "Hi! Ooh!" She looked down at the swimsuits and picked up a pretty one that was white and had a small skirt. She purchased it without hesitation and looked at Caelan, "Hope you don't mind I decided to join you! Where do we put these on?" She sipped on her drink as she looked around for a changing stall then excitedly pointed to one once she had located it, "Over yonder!"

After introductions were made, Mika and Uzul had taken their seats and discussion ensued. She’d allowed Uzul to ask any further questions of her, answering them as honestly as possible. They then made plans to travel through the desert, a journey that was likely to be more challenging than they likely would realize. They decided to leave the humans behind in Myriamor with Aurora and, after properly meeting Leaf and Mika realizing he was an eager and sweet young man, decided he’d likely be helpful in watching over the humans. It could serve as his trial before officially being hired on into Mika’s group. While Mika was slightly nervous to leave the humans with the stranger and she was sure Rosaria was even moreso, she was rather confident that Leaf meant them no harm. So the plan was set, however the human Jomari wasn’t willing to be left behind. He would join them on their journey into the vicious desert.

Mika went back to the inn to find Kuroi and explain all that had transpired before going to rent two camels. The camels weren’t meant to be ridden, no the group would have to endure traversing the desert and dunes on foot, but they would carry all the supplies they’d need for travel. Mika then went on to purchase three tents, six shemagh scarves, a variety of dried fruits and meats, and plenty of water. The camels were then loaded up with the supplies and the group of six began their journey into the desert.

The sun was almost at its highest point in the sky and the heat was slowly becoming more and more suffocating. A light breeze blew across the dunes, but it did little to cool any of them off. It was more like being occasionally hit in the face with the hot air of an oven. When it came to walking through the dunes they kept themselves at the top of them as much as possible in order to keep track of the direction they were going. As they got further and further from Myriamor it became increasingly clear how you could easily become lost within the ever changing mounds of sand. Mika was convinced that the dunes were even changing shape slowly before all of their eyes. She was becoming quite glad she’d come across Uzul who seemed to be able to read the dunes expertly. It also proved difficult to walk across, the sand shifting unpredictably under their feet. One misstep and you could go sliding down the face of a dune. This was something Mika had become personally familiar with.

They hadn’t made it even a half hour into their travels and Mika had found herself slipping and sliding down the first third of a smaller dune. She’d managed to stop herself from sliding all the way to the bottom, but not without becoming completely covered in sand. It took her a good minute to find her footing and stand back up, then she had to make the difficult trek back up to the group without falling again. After that incident she’d had a couple close calls, but slowly she was getting the hang of understanding the best places to step.

As they all seemed to fall into a rhythm, Mika decided to ask Uzul a few questions. ”So we’ve discovered the deceptiveness of the dunes and the fact that the sand is out to betray you, but what other things could we potentially come across out here? What should we all keep an eye out for?” She asked as she worked on wrapping her scarf over her head and around her neck in an attempt to lessen the brutality of the sun.

Ismael was present at the breakfast, he was attentive with the new faces and tried his best to understand who each person could be. A person's mannerisms were very important in understanding who they were as a person, yet the more basic conversation was very annoying in this endeavor as everyone was more or less confined to small talk. However it could not be helped, if more important talks were held, it would be much easier to see each person and how they acted with a more serious topic. However, if they talked so seriously in a public café, people could figure out who they actually were. If that happened, each person at this table would have a one-way ticket to the afterlife, well the lucky ones that is.

Ismael just sat and ate, he wasn't here for much else at the moment, honestly, he wished he had some money to run around with. Enough to wet the whistle and maybe figure out something fun to do, training is interesting, yet Ismael wouldn't call it fun, its more just like work. Ismael honestly was slightly bored of the idea of looming danger, being on the security detail of an arms dealer always had a sense of danger, no matter where you were, so this was nothing new. The only thing that was slightly nerve-racking to Ismael was the fact that he had to now learn how to properly fight in melee combat, especially against what would be assumedly well-trained soldiers who had decades if not centuries to learn. However, since this world had not advanced to that technological level, he will need to learn that and how to use his magic, after all, a well-trained warrior has both a well-tuned body and a well-balanced mind.

Funny enough, it seemed like there was an event that was occurring today that would provide some needed hands-on experience, well maybe it was a nice way to relieve some stress from the things that have happened so far. Slime Day as they call it, it seemed like a very smart thing to introduce as it was something that would normally cause damage, it seemed like a way for those in charge to get money circulating while also dealing with a large threat to their city. Ismael was interested because it would let him use some of his gear.

Some time later

Ismael was set up and waiting, it took him a little bit to make sure his gear was properly on. It wasn't something he was used to, it wasn't like gear he was used to. It was much more like riot gear rather than what he was used to, however, it would provide much more protection here than it would in his world.

Ismael was mostly relaxed, these were slimes, simple creatures in fantasy worlds, the thing he knew was that slashing weapons were bad on slimes because then it would cut them in half and have them multiply, which was slightly upsetting because he went and got a sword and it seems the first thing he fights is a creature who is immune to slashing. Ismael decided the Slime Day mallet would be something to buy, after all, all it took was 5 slimes and he would have made his money back, well, Kharne's money.

It was rowdy and the air was filled with excitement as when the flying man started giving his speech it seemed that people began to get riled up, to the point where even Kaleb was getting into it, Ismael didn't know much about him but his words seemed to have been filled with overwhelming enthusiasm and confidence was all that he was giving. It made Ismael laugh as he looked to Kharne and said, "Looks like someone has really gotten into it". Ismael lightly nudges Kharne with his elbow as he says, "What about you big guy? You feeling the spirit?"

When the first slime emerges, Ismael began to hear the roar of the crowd as the man who seemed to be hyping up the crowd began the roar as he announced the first slime breaching the water. As everyone let out this deafening roar and charged forward.

Theme: Ardyn’s Crew Theme

"I have a few issues with yer demands. First, I've never been a fan of tax collectors. Second, the sea despises being claimed as it shows her little respect. Don't ya hear her protesting?"

Vellen kept up a grin, but all the while he fought back the urge to chuckle in Lizzie's face. He had heard the hearty laugh of a woman in Lizzie's crew and noticed the posturing of some of them. Vellen could tell where things were going, it wasn’t going to be pretty.

"And last, ya act like this Captain Ardyn Croft is some sort of king. So what? Should I be frightened of him when I'm the devil herself?" There were several low chuckles on the ship behind Vellen. He shot a cold glare back at them that silenced their ruckus. He then looked to his twin brother who grinned from ear to ear as he predicted he'd win the bet both brothers made before approaching the Harem. A bet of whether or not things would end miserably. Vellen sighed at the sight of his brother’s expression, but he refused to give up in trying to maintain the peace. When his eyes met Lizzie’s again, his face appeared to grow more stern. The smile was gone, but his tone remained warm. Like a friend giving words of caution.

“I don't know what it means to be a devil, but Ardyn does not seek to rule with fear. Have you not noticed our approach? Now think of the fact that we outnumber you. Have been following your ship for hours and find you in the morn- What is he…” This was the moment Barboda fired his crossbow, causing Vellen to whip his head toward the target, Liliana.

The fairy's body hit the wooden deck with a low thud that drew the attention of anyone who hadn't watched Barboda place his weapon at the ready for the unprovoked attack. There was a brief and odd moment of pause as the attack was so unexpected and uncharacteristic to a parlay. When looking back at the Harem, he noticed the crew behaving in a similar fashion before springing into action. He raised a round shield of darkness and backed away.

Thank Halastra’s wet cunt for this tin-headed fuck. He killed that whiney bitch and he started the battle I've been itchin' for! Rellen armed himself with a sword that suddenly coated itself in dark magic. It would have been more powerful at night, but it would be good enough for the moment. Seven of the crew members kicked up flintlock rifles from the deck with finesse and raised them at the ready with the intent to fire. A raccoon demihuman was trying to get past and over Liliana's corpse but her slowed movement left her as an easy target from Helio's dark magic attack. Hit in the back, she fell forward but it didn't keep her down. The same daylight that hindered Vellen, did the same to recently awoken dark fairy. She scampered to where she could go below deck and shouted.

“Come up! Come up! It's a fight up here!” She called, her back stung harshly but she felt that she succeed in her endeavor

A canine and a boar demi-human emerged with haste. Though it was just two, they appeared to be as ready for a fight as Rellen was and muscled up. Both held boarding axes and charged forth to leap to the other ship so that they could board. Before the two could even think of pushing off to a decent stride, the seven riflemen fired at the Harem. Out of seven shots, they landed three.

I’ll leave it up to the crew to choose who got hit and where. Seven shots, Three hits.

With a low grunt, Kaleb kicked off the edge of the boardwalk to push ahead of the pack. However, not everyone charged forth so brazenly. During Slime Day, every participant had developed a strategy to slay as many slimes as they could. Some fiercely ran toward the oblong monsters just as Kaleb had, while others conserved their energy and waited for the slimes to inevitably reach their chosen position. Those with patience and those with initiative would clash against the inevitable hoard of monsters.

Two hands gripped the wooden mallet Kaleb had chosen, painted with intentional messy splashes of red, blue, and green. He grunted again as he felt his legs tiring from running across the fatiguing sand. The armor he wore did not help either as it only added additional weight that sought to sink him in the loose ground below. His energetic charge slowed as he panted with each step forward. “Almost… there… Almost… there.” Kaleb was fueled more by his pride than his raw determination. He couldn’t look worthless, especially since he hadn’t made the best impression on Princess Annya. The more athletic participants strode past him, but he continued as his eyes locked on a green hued slime headed straight for him. The creatures were just as Eris described.

“Living breathing, but very stupid gelatin dessert.”

Kaleb planted his left foot forward and swung down to smash the green slime that splattered all over him.

“Are you fucking serious?!” Kaleb looked disgusted as he wiped some of the slime off of his face. He was sure the stuff would give him some sort of breakout, and it was even in his hair too! “Ugh, fuck this…” He groaned as he was just ready to quit so he could get a “well-deserved” shower. Before he acted on making his exit, he looked over to see the others watching from the other section of the beach, more specifically, Annya. He could have just returned to the lounging group like he desired, but the young man was reminded of why he was out pulverizing slimes in the first place. So fucking disgusting… He suddenly bashed another with an underhand swing, sending its bits flying into the air. But I have to show my stuff! He crushed another with his mallet, ignoring the slime splattering over him. His strikes were slow due to him being a bit winded, but he continued striking. Red. Blue. Green. Green. Red. Blue. Red. Green. Red. Red. Green. Blue. Blue. Red. Red… With each attack, Kaleb’s mallet gave off small streams of smoke. He could smell the wood burning, but was focused on the task at hand. Killing as many slimes as possible. Upon one of his many strikes, he noticed a brief spark but he ignored it.

“Ha!” he swung once more.

“Hooah!” His armor was covered in red, blue and green slime, matching the appearance of his mallet which was smoldering now. Those around him figured he had put a last minute enchantment on the weapon, but it was heat generating due to Kaleb’s magic leaking during his emotional state. Disgust, excitement, and even some amusement twisted within him to produce heat in his palms that channeled into his mallet.

“Raah!” The mallet burst into flames during a downward strike, making Kaleb flinch and let the weapon go as it planted into the sand. “Fuck… What the fuck…” The mallet burned violently in front of him as slimes slinked past him. The burning flame had him entranced, as he had just discovered what his magical ability most likely was. Fire. He whipped his head around at participants close to his right and left, noticing the spectacle in awe. “Wow! I didn’t think my light magic could produce so much heat! Damn, looks like I’ll have to settle matters with my bow!” He didn’t even know if it made sense for light magic to make wood catch fire, but how else could he explain what just happened without getting hauled off by some bounty hunter. Kaleb knew if one exuded enough confidence, people weren’t as willing to ask questions.

He drew his bow and strung an arrow. The mallet was no longer an option as the fire weakened and broke down the wooden weapon. That, and continuing to use a burning weapon would draw too much attention to him. It was an L he was willing to take. The first fired arrow missed. He wasn’t focused. However patience would become his friend. He fired at close targets to get a feel for the bow and to collect his arrows from the dead slime remains. This slowed down the number of kills he might have gotten, but he performed well despite it. He glanced over in Princess Annya’s direction but this time his eyes were focused on Eris instead.

The young man had aimed to impress Annya, but it was Eris he truly sought approval from.

While Myra was worried at first, thinking she would have to compete against the dark elf for the shiny spheres, she was relieved once she realized that his objective was talking with Astra and Vrexen instead of going to the stall. Normally, Myra would be curious about what they were talking about but at that moment, she was too busy trying to purchase the shiny spheres from the orc.

Despite the rough start, the orc did seem to understand Myra's words and her intentions fairly well, and even though he seemed to be rugged and rather crude, like most orcs did, at least for Myra, he wad kind enough to even give Myra a few shinies back! Something which did make her quite happy, since now, not only she had a few shinies, but she had the spheres as well!

With a huge smile on her face, Myra carefully grabbed the wooden box as the orc handed it to her. Holding the wooden box with her tail, Myra took the spheres on her hand slowly turning them, both watching the shiny reflection, feeling the cold and smooth mettalic surface and hearing the soothing, delicate noise that came from inside them as she moved them in her hands. It didn't take much for anyone looking to realize that Myra was absolutely ecstatic and thoroughly satisfied with her purchase, something that definitely would, albeit unintentionally, give the orc and his stall quite a bit of positive advertising. Drawing many curious eyes as they saw Myra running, almost jumping out of happiness to show Astra and Vrexen her new spheres.

Astra and Vrexen were still talking with the strange dark elf when Myra approached them. While the fact that he had approached them, more specifically Vrexen, who wasn't exactly the kindest looking fellow out there was indeed surprising, what was even more surprising was how the pretty winged lady didn't seem to be afraid of vrexen, in fact even approaching him and petting his head, something which Myra herself would have never even imagine happening. What she felt when she looked towards the winged lady was completely the opposite from what she was watching though. While it did seem quite obvious that she wasn't a threat, something on her made Myra's skin crawl. It wasn't in her appearance or her voice, instead it was in her eyes. Something about that winged girl made Myra's instincts yell at her to stay clear from her.

Quickly giving a few steps back, Myra kept staring at the winged girl with a nervous expression. While she wasn't exactly displaying any hostility towards her, she was definitely watching her every move with extreme caution.

It was no secret that the desert was a ruthless and unforgiving place. Despite it's beauty, it was truly a place where only the ones who knew it very well were able to survive and right now, the person who were responsible for their safety was one of Princess Mikazuki's companions, Uzul. Even though Nuallán had not underestimated all the warnings and orientations he received as he was preparing for the desert as the group prepared themselves, buying scarves, camels to carry their posessions and all the equipment they might need, it still proved to be difficult even to the normally composed Nuallán to tolerate the searing heat and sun over their heads, giving the contrast between the forests he was used to and the harsh, unforgiving desert. To make things worse, the uneven footing from the dunes made the trip even more exhausting, especially since Nuallán himself, despite how agile and dextrous he was, wasn't really used with that type of terrain. Still, despite all that, Nuallán continued to faithfully perform his duties to Princess Rosaria and her close friend, Princess Mikazuki, having bought a parasol to shield both of them from the searing sun. An added protection besides the scarves they were all already using.

"Princess Mikazuki, please be careful. We are moving through a deceptfully dangerous terrain. Strained muscles or ligaments can be incredibly dangerous injuries to have when traversing the desert." Nuallán said, offering his hand to Princess Mikazuki, who was just climbng back the dune after falling and rolling down half of the dune.

"In this case, it is best to take our time instead of risking getting exhausted or even injured while trying to hasten our pace." Nuallán finished, offering Mikazuki a spot under the parasol he was holding for Rosaria.

"Please be careful as well, Lady Rosaria. We still have a long way ahead of us. Should you feel tired or uncomfortable, you have but to tell me and I will do everything in my power to help you." he said with an smile as he returned to his position besides Rosaria, making sure she was fine.
