I think I done my character bit for now. Unless someone is replying to Aurora and her mentions:) other then that happy to move along to the next bit.
You all still accepting characters? Or at least willing to take a submission for someone to jump in if someone drops out?

Still accepting if you wanna join!

Awesome. Working on a character now. Wondering though, if there's room for a character that comes into the coven as an outsider? Like no relation to anyone currently or previously in the fold? Someone who doesn't realize that things they've been able to do are because of magic?
🤔
Is there any way I can reasonably play into the reluctant hero trope on this one?

Hopefully I've toned down enough of the problematic spots Hedgehawk and I spoke about enough; started losing creative steam when I touched on the personality segment. Open to making more adjustments if need be. This is mostly just to get something up in good faith.

- Cade! (When non-family are angry with them)
Gender: AFAB ENBY (She/They)
Sexual Orientation: Asexual; Pan-Romantic.
Age: 21 (going on 22) | June 15th | Gemini
Witch or Warlock: WitchMagic
Stunted by their lack of discipline in their youth, Cait's Magic lacks behind her peers in terms of power and consistency.Transmutation
- Telekinesis; the general ability to hold, lift, and move objects through sheer concentration and willpower. Effectiveness is limited by factors of size, weight, and anchoring of the object(s) and time and focus invested by the user. Cait has rarely exceeded control over objects exceeding her bodyweight; when she has, it's been in moments or anger or excitement, and were short lived
- Levitation; Cait is able to use magic as a means of mobility and maneuvering. She's been limited to short spans of suspending herself in midair, and short range gliding; with training, true flight is possible.
Invocation
- Non-elemental Projections; channeling through a means comparable to Telekinesis, Cait is capable of producing elementally neutral blasts. Comprised of a vaguely visible energy projectile, these blasts are focused projectiles of kinetic energy that generally deal blunt force damage. Typically achieved to the extent of projecting comparable force to Caitlin's physical ability. Additional training yields heightened strength of projected force.
- Aerokinesis/Aeromancy; at age fifteen, Cait got into an argument with their parents, during which she inadvertently created a brief gale force wind, hinting at a potential for air/wind based magic. However, she's yet to cause such effects willingly, and hasn't done so to such an extreme since that day.
Conjuration
No measurable feats thus far.PsychologyPerhaps as a symptom of her youth, Caitlin has long held misgivings and uncertainties regarding the life she was born into. She's moved, in part, by an urge to distance herself from the tradition and responsibilities of her bloodline. To some, she comes across as lazy; a slacker, lacking in a sense of duty or responsibility. To others, Cait is simply detached from the reality of her situation. Either way it is, Mo seems more want to pursue what interests her over what others have deemed necessary. Prone to relaxing a bit too much, and spending downtime goofing off, being "unproductive," or otherwise partying hard.
A pathological daydreamer, Cait is frequently distracted by thoughts of things she’d like to be doing and places she’d like to be and see. It is this want of being elsewhere doing other things that presents her as unfocused and at times scatterbrained. It is frequent that Cait is caught mulling deeply over a special interest (eg. skating); these special interests often eat up the lion’s share of Cait’s train of thought, resulting in a hyperactive display of body language until she can manifest those thoughts into actions.
She's not cold towards or aloof from others; in fact, she is, for the most part, easy going, and approachable. She's not one to stir conflict among others. With a "you do you, I'll do me," attitude generally, Cait prefers not prod at the sharper edges of the people around her if she can help it. They’re genuinely supportive of those around them, often giving props when a friend or even a stranger does something well, and dispensing a unique, surfer-esque brand of reassurance when others struggle or falter.
Cait’s relation to fellow students of the Coven tends her towards more of a bystander mentality; there are a dozen or more people invested in it; all of them older and more experienced. With the likes of her parents and older peers holding down the fort, what is the absence of one?HistoryThe child of Warlock Marcus Elliot Cade and Witch Morgan Elizabeth Cade. Caitlin Morgan Cade was born in Tanner, and raised among the Coven. Not sharing the fondness for magic or the particular sense of duty that her parents and other members of the coven held firmly to, she invested less than her peers in the way of developing her abilities, leaving much of her greater potential untapped. Instead, she was Enamored with street culture in nearby Seattle; Cait's interests tended more towards skating, concerts, parties, and 'herbal remedies.' Despite the best efforts of both her elders and her friends within the Coven, her progress remained stunted; her focus was frequently drifting to life outside of the Coven, when she'd go exploring, skating, or to another show. On a scarce few occasions she attempted to play hooky from a lesson, though it always came back to bite her: she was either caught and returned to her instructor, made to do chores, or, in one instance wherein she wasn't returned, subject to a late night sessions that bled into a school day, leaving no time for rest.
Yet the efforts of the Coven couldn't break her from the 'distracting train of thought' she was on.
Though she had managed good marks in high school, when the time came to go off to college, Cait was unenthused. Not caring much for sitting in a classroom for another four years, she opted to stay local, attending Seattle Central College on a two year degree program (mostly at the urging of her parents). She went on to spend the following two years living in the 206, taking classes by day, and rolling her skateboard in local amateur competitions by night. Placing high in all contests, in part due to her uncanny ability to land tricks even when she seemed guaranteed to bail. In the span of two years she built a reputation around the Seattle skating scene; thoughts of going pro ran through her head daily.
Two years, an Associate Degree, and a bank of prize money and part time paychecks later, she decided to bounce from the Northwest. Hopping the first bus south, she shredded in Oregon for half a year. When the chance came, she made the dip down to California, catching air and grinding rails on the San Francisco Bay area. When she wasn't on her board, she was in party mode, hitting up concerts and getting high. Through it all she came out with a handful of medals from competitions. Still, she rolled further south looking for a chance to wow a sponsor so she could skate in professional competitions. Figuring SoCal the place to be, she landed outside of L.A., in the town of Chino Hills, where she crashed on a friend's couch.
She'd get little more than one contest under belt before she was hoisted by her own baton.
She had attended a late night bonfire at Venice Beach. Half way through the night, the festivities spiraled out of control. Before anyone knew what was happening, the blinding flashes of red and blue strobe lights and the piercing cry of sirens broke through the masses. In a panic, the droves scattered and fled from the beach and into the city streets. Cait, pursued closely by an LAPD squad car, skated her way into a dead end back alley. Cornered between a wall and the police bearing down on her, she gathered her will… turning to the cop car, she skated headlong towards it. In a last second leap of faith, she ollie'd and, aided by small bit of Telekinesis, jumped clear over the car, and skated her way out of the jam.
In the wake of the narrow escape, Cait went into hiding, laying low in a safe house for almost a week. Once certain that the trouble had subsided she returned to her friend's house in Chino Hills. There waiting for her were the two people she least hoped to see: her parents. Having used the wiles and abilities of the Coven to track her down, they had arrived nearly two hours ahead of her. In hand, her father carried a tabloid headlined "Las Angeles Police Department Search for Suspects in Venice Beach Incident." Under the headline was a rough sketch of Caitlin, among others from the party. Dragging her out of the house and out of earshot, her father admonished her for her recklessness. He stressed that such actions could find their way back to the Coven, that if not for he and Cait's mother, the repercussions would have been more extreme.
Cait's parents concluded with an order from the Coven to return to Tanner; it was time, they explained, for her to buckle down and complete her training.
The next morning, flanked by mother and father, both wearing disappointed scowls, Caitlin boarded the first flight out from LAX to Seattle-Tacoma…Miscellaneous

"Godddd- If you could remember half the shit you’ve pulled...."Basic Information
Name: Aiden Heseltine
Gender Male
Age: 24
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Demisexual
University Degree: Masters in GeographyMagical Abilities
Witch or Warlock: Witch
Schools of Magic:
- Abjuration (3):
- Multitude of Wards - From spells to protect against weather, enforcing deals, halting lies should they reach lips, prevent threads the wear time and the cut of knives to enchantments that protect against harm.
- Dulled Ears, Closed Eyes - See under enchantment*
- Necromancy (1):
- Trinket Reading - See under enchantment*
- Enchantment (5):
- Trinket Reading - Throughout its history, an object may be imprinted by a soul and the instance of time leeches in between its atoms, its molecules. Being so little as an emotion to a whole packot of memory, Aiden can bring forth these imprints at his own discretion.
- Mind Manipulation - Aiden knows several spells that can mess with thoughts and memories; destroying, shaping or even imprinting his own onto others. The extent of what he can do depends on how long he has, if there are countermeasures in place, and if the target resists.
- Dulled Ears, Closed Eyes - A spell acting as a perception filter for the mundanes and masking the supernatural in a small area- Unless face to face with something truly undeniable, what a mundane sees or hears about is more likely to be forgotten, brushed off as nonsense or explained away with 'common sense'... or outright unseen. Helpful in an emergency scrap... but unreliable.
Personality:
Aiden Heseltine is a pretty solitary guy, not totally by choice but not really against it either. He's always struggled to fit in with those around him even after all these years. His years at uni have helped him with this and he now masks rather convincingly, being able to quip and snap back or act friendly when he needs to, but it's still just a mask, and it's tiring.
Aiden just wants to take life slow, he doesn't get why everyone has to care so much about god-damn near everything- not that he'll say it. But even if he did, he'd probably try and erase your mind, and slip away. He's like that, a slippery kind of dick even if it comes from just wanting to get away from confrontation.
Even with this, he's always curious, about people, about fitting in, but to those that know him- really know him. It's up to them if they think he's a problem, or just plain old pathetic.
History/Bio:"Without memories, we move without the weight of the past ''
A silly old saying and if it were from another family it would probably mean forgiveness. But not to the Heseltines. One family of the coven steeped in tradition, its family tree weathering storms of generations of infighting and in so building a foundation of rules that each new twig in the family would be raised on, to then one day raise their own to the same set of rules. Until now, and we come to Aiden Heseltine.
Being the son of no one of any real significance, It could be said the same lacklustre quality was passed on to Aiden. Having no real aptitude to magic save for some degree of skill in spells pertaining to the mind- That would do little to sway his interest in the mystical arts. No, if it wasn't for his parents dragging him off for training every other day like it was some kind of school then Aiden would have been spending his days in the woods, his eyes in the sky or his hands searching the floor for cool stones or some sick-ass looking sticks.
No, he never really changed much from that small kid in the forest. His days were lost in thought and how he took life as slow as he did, those habits of the wood bled through his skin and made themselves home in his heart to where even in town, even with other people he would act the same; always taking things slow, like he wasn't ever really there in any moment. You could tell at a glance Aiden struggled to fit it, wherever he was.
It wasn't until he turned 18 and left for university that he began to feel like he'd learned to fit in. Far from his family and the town, he could reinvent himself, and act like someone new as if he was trying on new clothes. He could see how it went and reinvent himself further. Friends could be found or made in drones at uni what with his new personality- but it never was meant to be. Aiden could only keep them for a short time. Something would always happen, a bad vibe, a fight or maybe he'd push them away. In the end, they'd leave. Or Aiden would make them. When things were going south, Aiden would strip the minds of everyone he'd been calling a friend- not of their memories of him, just the reason for their drifting apart, and dull their memories of him. They'd still leave, but there would be no animosity. To those so-called friends, Aiden would be a fair-weather friend that they'd stopped talking to for no reason or another.
It was like this for years, meeting new people, spending a few months together until once again, tearing through their psyche before they moved on- but it was enough for Aiden. That's how we come to now, back to Tanner, and whatever it might bring.
Potential ideas:
2) Maybe used to be your babysitter when she was a teenager.
