I'm guessing that Crusader's analysis of the organs would be left to a separate post?

Yes. I absolutely did not forget. NEVER QUESTION THE DEMON KING'S METHODS.

But just because I am feeling magnanimous I shall go ahead and give you what I had planned:

Analyzing Creatures...
Elwet - [...] REPEAT BOOST: Most parts of an Elwet's body are quite resistant to heat and open flame, but it can be cooked--albeit tediously--once the protective feathers and outer skin has been removed.

Elwet Organs - TARGETED ANALYSIS: Elwet organs aren't much different from those of other birds. Sometimes stones in their gizzards are affected by their fire magic, however, and become like extremely dense, polished coals or flint. Their livers are EXTREMELY high in iron, making them quite unpleasant to most people's tastes. A gamey smell pervades the organs as well, so even those more commonly used in recipes have the tendency to ruin the whole meal with their pungency.

I'm a little busier than I expected to be today but I should be able to get a GM update out this weekend. Please let me know if you'd like me to wait for your post, or if you need the update to address a specific action/question!

CONTINUE BIOMASS ACCUMULATION

Just to confirm though, how much Elwets are left to be eaten after the 20% mark? Or did we not actually start eating yet?

Lazash has currently only consumed blood, cooked skin, and uncooked scales, if I've been reading the post right. The cooked meat of the main body, legs/wings/etc has not been consumed.

Aight cool. Will wait for Cosmos and Crusader to post before I do again, but Esfir in general will just suggest that they all eat equal amounts, to see exactly how much food they need to 'fully' ingest a creature.

Looks like you don't need to ingest that much to get a skill, which is good. Though I assume you get better skills the more you ingest.

I'll get a post up tonight

not unless there was a dojo somewhere around her that somehow knew traditional Okinawan karate.

Think I got all of the needed responses in for Lazash as well. She's is definitely going to be continuing biomass consumption to be sure of her potential skill options, rather than jump on the first possible thing that pops up in front of her face. Will be curious to see what the other options are!

@ERode

nothing to be done with bones cracked to bits for the marrow inside.

She was only going to do that with the cooked bone of whatever portion of Elwet she got to eat. Not going around the grabbing any left behind bones to do such a thing too. So it'd all just be tied to just her doing that with her potion of Elwet once it was doled out to her.

Otherwise Lazash deinfitely agrees with the others getting more straight meat since she's been eating other bits or getting other stuff cooking over the fire they wouldn't want. No complaints there, just her wanting to see what it takes to ingest something and not thinking much about it all in this instance. XD

Aight kk. Figured that wasn't the case because she got the boost by the time the food itself was done cooking, so thought that she was eating a lot of the stuff raw.

All good! I was a little confused as well, but I think I got it right.

She had some blood simply to hydrate while hoping to find proper water in the future, chewed on some scales because it was something to do to pass time (like chewing gum) and she wants to see what happens, and the cooked skin was apparently eaten by her so idk if anyone else wanted some of that I suppose since it got counted as part of stuff. XD

Meanwhile she is waiting for the bones and meat to cook before eating any of that, and getting that good marrow as part of that unless someone stops her. Also got that liver going for the fire along the way as well, depending on how long it would seem to take to cook.

@ERode Just to be sure and on the same page, would Esfir still do all the same stuff she did in the post then? Or would there be some small change to your post?

Esfir would still have ended up doing the same thing, yah, cause presumably, Lazash still started eating before the others.
