Hello everyone! Sorry for the radio silence the last few days, but work picked up AND I had a small realization that I needed to correct in the RP. In short, I needed more characters than just Morganna and Drasil to flesh out Vecta and the ones I had… well I wasn’t satisfied with them so I went back to the drawing board. (*muffled screams* Don’t look behind that curtain over there… @Xaltwind this means you.)

And yes, Morganna’s reincarnations will indeed be seeing each other. Not in the grandiose way that has been proposed, but there will be a little fanfare nonetheless. Post incoming soon!

In short, I needed more characters than just Morganna and Drasil to flesh out Vecta and the ones I had…

May I suggest:

Don't worry too much about trying to build "epic" plots or super cool NPCs right off the bat. You'll see Players gravitate towards places/characters they find interesting, and then you can limit the hard stuff like fleshing out personalities and creating ongoing narratives to just those few. Everyone knows Players will always ignore the complex, grimdark guy at the bar to go talk to the bug-eyed goblin with a funny accent who cleans the pigsties anyway, right?

Fool, Zeroth. They'll ignore everything to start hitting up the first anime-style waitress they can find. Failing that, they'll Fireball the tavern.

The real tech you should apply though, NoCo, is to just outsource the creation of NPCs to the players. Managed to generate a whole class of students just by asking each player in one of my RPs to come up with three names and three relationships each.

To be honest, I've been stalling for other morganna reincarnates to post so I had something to work with. I've got the meeting with morganna part worked out, but not really sure what to do for the being in the temple part, since I don't really know anything about it.

I also got sick lol.

Though can I get a very rough scene-setting of what Oriel would see? Would it just be the four of the and the goddess? close together? Anyone else there? Is it set in stone what the room looks like? etc. Don't want to get anything wrong

@Silver Carrot For sure. Basically, imagine there’s a large circular room with a raised platform or Dias in the middle. Each Otherworlders will appear on a spot on the Dias when you arrive. Whether or not you arrive together or at different intervals is up to you guys. There will be someone on the other end, but it may or may not be Morganna. 👀

Gotta have a few surprises. 😜

I like the way that Rowena phrased the "being chilled to the bone by the morning sun" though. That made me smile. Now to bombard the old bat with hundreds of questions and then... TAKE OVER THE CASTLE! ... Or, y'äknow, not get turned into some old fart's vampire-sex-slave... That'd be nice too. Whichever comes first will work I suppose~
