Appearance: A Victorian-esque Sleeping Beauty; tall with an angular face, shoulder-length golden blonde hair, green eyes, and white skin; costume is a rose pink dress in an Aurorean style with white lace and gold trim, wears a string of pearls. Wears bloomers under the skirt. Has white flat shoes.

Potential Storylines: A bit of a defrosting the ice queen/earning the trust of her teammates arc. She's someone that's hard to get to know and I'd imagine that would make her especially suspected of being an Durian. If a reluctant teammate to friends to lover arc could also exist, she's definitely the type who would like to gain a superhero boyfriend/eventual husband.

BRIEF Bio: Jane is a British general doctor. Her parents died during a break-in, leaving her alone with the family cottage. While gardening her roses, she discovered her powers. Initially, she tried to suppress them, not wanting to deal with any more changes in her life. However, when she found herself caught at the scene of a supervillain attack, she tried to heal some civilians caught in the crossfire and failed. After that, she decided to fully embrace her powers and become a heroine, taking the name based off a Victorian romance character she liked. From there, she ended up joining the JL Europe until it was disbarred and covertly continued herowork until answering the call to join JL Unlimited.

Name: Gabriel Cassidy

Alias: Dreadnaught

Age: 25

Personality: Calm, Determined, Dutiful, Open-Minded, Protective

Powers: A degree of super strength (max carry weight 100~ tons), superhuman durability (can shrug off most things short of anti-tank ordnance), superhuman speed (top speed 85/mph at a full sprint), extensive knowledge and training in CQC and firearms, night-vision and thermal-vision.

Weaknesses: Metallic skeleton (Conductive, has a melting point of around 870 degrees Fahrenheit, can be affected by strong enough magnets), his tendency to help others without thinking can land him in trouble.

Background Hero: Dove

Former Team Affiliation: Justice League of America (JLA)

Appearance: Male, Caucasian, 6'4", 368 lbs. (see; metallic skeleton), athletic build, dark brown hair, soft features, bright green eyes. He typically wears military fatigues with the JL's insignia replacing where a nation's flag traditionally is. His 'skin' looks normal enough, however has an almost rubbery texture. His palms, elbows, knees, chest, and knuckles all have exposed metal plates that are grafted to his skin. His eyes faintly glow in dark environments. When deployed, he wears a simple expressionless facemask (think a hockey mask, except made out of metal), a ballistic helmet (coloration depends on the environment), and a plate carrier.

Potential Storylines: In his current state, he isn't sure if he can be called human anymore, and learning to deal with that existential crisis. He struggles with how he's killed multiple people, and despite his ability to commit extreme violence, the chemicals he's been pumped full of to theoretically reduce his empathy, and knowledge that in some cases drastic action is necessary, he still struggles to sleep at night. He's open to friendly debate, and any character who'd engage with him could lead to a friendship, rivalry, or depending on the character, conflict.

BRIEF Bio: A US Marine who got roped into a super soldier project, but when funding was cut he was left as someone who couldn't exactly return to a civilian life covertly. So, when he overhead that the plug was being pulled he figured that unless he did something, he was about to quietly disappear. So he figured his best shot was to get out a fast as he could, no matter who he had to go through. Two hours, the corpses of a couple dozen soldiers, and an incident involving a gunship later, Hawk and Dove met him just before his rampage got close to the civilian center he had unknowingly been making his way towards. After a brief fight, a long discussion, and a threat to get the JLA's higher-ups involved, a deal was struck. Gabriel Cassidy was officially dead, and he got to disappear, so long as he kept quiet about the classified projects. However, his sense of duty got him involved helping the police against a group of heavily armed robbers in Louisiana. A few more similar incidents later, he was approached by Dove, this time with an offer to join the JLA. He took up the name "Dreadnaught", as he appears to be a seemingly unstoppable wall of cybernetics and fury when he was in a fight.

Notes: As much as he will avoid outright killing people, if someone he cares about is mortally threatened or someone is blatantly, irredeemably evil, all of that "the ends don't justify the means" and "due process" goes out the window for him unless someone's there to stop him.

Name: Ken Harmon

Alias: Rival

Age: 24

Personality: Direct, strong-willed, determined, serious, relentless.

Powers: "Match" Rival's base strength, durability, and endurance automataugment themselves based on his opponent. His body will "match" the physical capabilities of whoever he is fighting if they're stronger than his own, allowing him to literally punch above his weight class. This effect does not stack when facing groups of enemies, but will target the strongest opponent, meaning in groups of about four or less, Rival is quite capable. The ability has a radius effect of about 5 meters. He shines in single combat.

Weaknesses: Rival's ability does not account for most non- physical attacks. Energy projection such as plasma, radiation, electricity, etc. affect him unless his copied durability protects him as much as it would whoever he copied it from. Furthermore, gas, telepathy, psychic attacks, and magic pretty much bypass his powers. Against large groups, Rival has a disadvantage.

Background Hero: Wildcat

Appearance: 5'8" and with a solid, stocky build. Muscular and tan. Keeps his black hair short with a fade and stays clean shaven. Tattoo sleeves on both arms that carry emotional meaning detailing his past; those he's lost and the ones he fights for now. He has piercing light brown, almost orange eyes, and his expression carries gravity as he sizes up opponents.

His suit is comprised of Kevlar reinforced blue jeans and Kevlar reinforced black leather jacket, boots, reinforced combat gloves, and a utility belt. The belt contains several tools, including two pairs of extra strong power-dampening cuffs, plenty of plastic restraints, a couple tracker bugs, smoke bombs, and a built in LED flashlight in the buckle. The buckle makes the belt look vaguely like a slightly smaller championship belt. His mask is a rubberized red wraparound that covers from his nose to above his eyes.

Potential Storylines: Mostly I'd love to see Rival challenge larger and larger foes as the story progresses, see his limits pushed, etc. A girlfriend would be fine, as well. Maybe some rivalry too, that seems fitting of his name, at least.

BRIEF Bio: Growing up in a pretty bad neighborhood, his parents and younger brother died when a home invasion took a turn for the worse. Ken, 15 at the time, got home just in time to see the robbers burst out of the front door, jump into their van, and escape. Upon finding his family dead, Ken swore vengeance, and tracked the culprits to a junkyard. Stupidly, he confronted them and got his ass severely handed to him. He was only saved by the intervention of Wildcat, who took him under his wing.

Notes: Ken was trained for years by Wildcat, competing and winning multiple boxing tournaments, learning Jiu Jitsu and karate as well, and becoming a proficient MMA fighter. His fighting style heavily relies on him turning one on one engagements into slug fests, with his proficiency in MMA being used to take down weaker opponents and then challenging the strongest with direct attacks. He spent years as a vigilante like his mentor until joining the JLA with Wildcat's encouragement.

Name: Rose Wilson
Alias: Ravager
Age: 22
Personality: Moody, acerbic, vicious, cynical, bitter

Powers:
Eidetic/kinetic memory - Rose remembers everything she sees, hears, or feels, perfectly and without hesitation. She can also near-flawlessly reproduce any physical action she's previously perceived.
Precognition - Rose's mind assesses the probability of actions occurring in the near future, granting her the ability to predict what will happen and how to deal with it. The accuracy of these predictions drops off with time, so they are generally only useful within the span of seconds and milliseconds.
Regeneration - Rose heals extremely quickly from physical damage.
Enhanced physiology - Rose's strength, endurance, reaction speed, and agility have all been enhanced beyond peak human levels.

Weaknesses: Her precognition is enhanced by adrenaline, which means that it becomes more powerful when she's stressed, but it also starts to overwhelm her with all the potentialities - she starts getting headaches and eventually fuguing out as she gets too much data for her mind to process.

Appearance: Rose is a tall, wiry Asian woman who keeps her jet-black hair in a long braid. She has a forbidding, unsmiling demeanour and a glare that can wither your nethers at fifty paces. Her costume is a midnight-blue scale armour suit with reinforcements over her torso and shoulders and gold trim. When off-duty, she often wears a modernised cheongsam or ao dai, usually in black or dark blue.



Potential Storylines: Rose still has a deeply conflicted relationship with her father Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, so we can play with that. Anyone trying to get her to lighten up will have a job on their hands; she is deeply traumatised by her experiences, both things that have happened to her and things she has done to others, as well as some visions she has had through her precognitive powers under severe stress.

BRIEF Bio: In this continuity, Slade Wilson also went to Southeast Asia and had some flings. The result of one of his encounters was a daughter who inherited very little of his appearance but a lot of his personality and all of his enhancements. This made her something of a freak growing up - while she doesn't talk about it, one can surmise that she went through severe struggles just getting from a highland village to the USA and then tracking down a mercenary assassin who's evaded law enforcement for years.
Nobody but the two of them know what went down between them, but both needed a fair amount of recovery time after, despite their regenerative ability. Something must have been resolved though, because Slade proceeded to use his connections to set her up with the JLA.

Notes: Ravager wields twin blades - slightly curved, single-edged sabers that might be Vietnamese Guam, Thai Daab or Burmese Dha.

Name: Zen Prime

Alias: Trask

Age: 15?

Personality: Intelligent, analytical, adaptive, very driven.

Powers: Zen, or 'Trask', is a purely technological being, an android developed as an adaptive enforcer of the law. His powers would therefore be the ability to install/mount/wield various technological devices (oftentimes weaponry) supported by a micro power plant and precision targeting. He has a full-metal chassis and has decent mechanical strength, capable of using just about any technological device you hand him. Any knowledge that he does not possess is one download away (though he can learn by observing and doing), and he has been designed to adapt and learn according to each situation he comes across. This, plus the addition of flight engines, makes him a formidable ally.

Weaknesses: The first thing is that Zen/Trask's mind and memory is contained within a dense operating core, the likes of which use to inhabit a super computer. It was all upon the idea that Zen would perform any task up to and including self-sacrifice of his form, while the brain that was operating it remotely just creates a new body. He cannot do that anymore, as his original brain was canniballized for parts. The second thing is that while Zen is insulated against EMP frying his systems, he is still able to be disoriented in function by them. Intense magnetism or lightning bolts will also have an effect, though thankfully not on his software. MAINLY, his weakness is corrosives, tearing through his armor and then his exposed systems. Also, while he CAN carry on a conversation with people, he is not a human, and therefore there is a gap between his personality/understanding and theirs, plus he does not heal like one, and requires repairs and recharging, as needed.

Appearance: Zen himself is a six-foot (adjustable) humanoid battle machine built to be wiry and with reasonable flex, rather than a heavy powersuit-like form. (Envision the human athletic form, such as an Olympic sprinter, in terms of robot, and there you go.) His armor is a dark blue-black with a semi-aerodynamic head. There is a one-way reflective polymer shield over his three eyes that make him look like might be an armored person wearing a helmet instead of being a machine, though once broken, large-ish mechanical red eyes are a bit of a giveaway. He has articulate five-fingered hands and his feet - when not looking like they're boots - have three toes and a heel-spur for quick stops and ground-grip. His flight section in back involves a compact high-powered engine supported by two wings with built-in maneuvering jets for control. Additionally, because he has no mouth, the voice of Zen - calm, reasoning, logical - is generated by machine, allowing him to also project different voices, such as the voice of Trask, who is arrogant, intimidating, and a bit into showmanship. The form of Trask is an armor change, an alteration into a black-and-red form with two glowing red exterior eyes - hiding Zen's own eyes under a metal hatch - that looks slightly-more draconic with thicker-armored wings, stronger claws, and a habit of using extra shoulder-mounts.

Potential Storylines: Oh, hey. The site CAN make bulletpoints.

• The Search - Zen is searching for someone in his spare time, someone important to him. But who does he know in the world, apart from his creator?
• The Military - Eventually, the US Army will find out that Zen is AWOL and want him back...or have him destroyed.
• The Discovery - Before his completion of Project Zen, Dr. Zenigawa made another intelligent prototype for the Navy: Project Apex. But is this willful weapon an ally or enemy?
• Stigma of the Machine - There is a great distrust, even among Leaguers, of a self-guiding machine having free reign. Batman especially remembers the likes of HARDAC. whom he destroyed.
• Double-Identity - As Zen's program grows, so too does his Trask side, leading to a point where Trask tries to take over, demanding full autonomy.
• A Bit Like Commander Data - Zen's a growing boy, and while he is most definitely a machine, his programming allows him to adjust more to what being human is. Eventually, that will require him to evolve past the machine in new and different ways.

BRIEF Bio: 'Zen' is an acronym. It stands for Zenigawa Enforcement Network, a revolutionary thinking machine designed to solve problems on its own without the fear of some mass computer takeover scenario. Dr. Zenigawa was a man who believed in securing humanity on the personal level. He believed in heroes, and thus began to create one. The principle of Zen's use is simple. It was a learning machine - a super computer - designed to build a fighting form to complete dangerous tasks. When its form was destroyed, its brain would design a new one to be constructed in its own assembly chamber, and send out a new fighter. He programmed it to protect and respect humanity, and set about testing it to be embraced by the military. Unfortunately, there was an accident. Zen's body shorted out at a critical moment where a missle was fired at the area to demonstrate his capacity for self-sacrifice. Realizing that people would be injured or killed if Zen was inoperable, the good doctor chose to sacrifice himself to the missle, which was unable to abort. Zen 'awoke' a moment later to the horror of realizing what had befallen his creator, and submitted himself to whatever the military had in store for him, which was a decided mothballing that never saw his inception...until today, years later.
