Hey guys, it's me! Just wanted to clarify a few things that have been longstanding on the forum, but that people still get confused over.
Alright, I get this question ALL the time. Look, even as an admin, there is no button on this site that lets me permanently delete your account, nor can I delete everything you've done. Unfortunately, you'll have to live with that furry porn or those insults you flung or whatever it is you did. I would advise simply being more careful with what you do. Sure, I can hide singular posts, but it's NOT possible for me to just delete your account. Apologies.
You are allowed to advertise a discord for OOC discussion. However, you cannot advertise on this forum, to roleplay OUTSIDE of this forum. You can't advertise to another website either. RP traffic will remain on this website, so keep that in mind.
This is a contentious one, but this one came directly from Mahz a couple of years ago. People are allowed to advertise for kinks, even ones that would, irl, be immoral/illegal, as long as 1) they don't go into explicit detail on the acts, and 2) they and their partners are over the age of 18. Now, we tried to switch the rules around to discourage that kind of thing, because people were being super explicit, but now we have other people going around, policing every kink that they think is problematic on an RP forum, so the rules have been reworded again. But this has always been the policy, since as long as I have been here, and it was solidified by Mahz a few years ago. No matter what problems you (or I, frankly) think of something like incest or what-have-you, as long as they just say what they want but do not post images or specific acts, they can do that.
Us mods, and even I, as an admin, could not police it regardless. I cannot peep at people's DMs. I don't have that power, and honestly I don't want it.
I know this is not what some of you guys like to hear, but until Mahz changes his mind, it's gonna be that way. Sorry if this is in any way an inconvenience for you.
