Gahhh I am so so sorry for my inconsistency as of late. It's 2am and I'm still working on the essay that's due today; I will not have time to post in the morning this round, but I'll come back after work this evening and write a post around then (around 7-8pm pst). I haven't caught up with the ICs either, so I truly hope I'm not holding anyone up in doing this. QQ;;;

EDIT: And done. Post sizes are getting a bit big I think atm, maybe it's just me? By that I mean, I think Kei and Kathi are writing too much for one character, and I think Buns' posts have been getting a bit large too. Try and trim it a bit please, guys? This is (High) Casual, not Advanced, and with this being daily posting, I don't want it to grow too hard to keep up with reading. I don't know about anyone else but I'm starting to get demotivated coming to catch up on the rp and finding so much to read. I know I write a lot, but there's a difference for GMing etc (so Fox's posts have been absolutely okay ^^) but I want to trim some of the 'fluff' a bit.

Also, Kei, please don't introduce Lute's sister in your next post. Robin's being okay atm but I'd rather see a focus on Lute interacting with others then a rush to explain his backstory, please. I only expected one character, and yet atm you have three. Robin's fine as an NPC for Selan and Amy to interact with but I don't want to see that increased. Honestly, I didn't expect Delilah to be a proper character either with her dialogue shown, only for us to be seeing Lute's end of the conversation and his reaction. I just don't want you to risk overcomplicating things, try and keep it simple to start off with, okay? ^^;

So... Do you guys allow guests/'stalkers' to roam in the OoC thread? Assuming, of course, that they behave themselves :P.

Well, I don't think I'd personally have a problem with it? So long as it's infrequent and we don't get attacked and swamped by a barrage of people drowning out the regular conversation, I don't think I'd mind. But that said, I'd like to wait for the input of my other players first in case they do mind, since this is their ooc as much as it is mine, and having random comments from people might bother someone.

I'm in agreement with Pach on this one. I personally don't feel comfortable with there being so many characters at one time, but the fact that every single one of those characters, even the two new "NPCs", have a regular-sized post (or longer) dedicated to them is making it take much longer to catch up on the IC than I'm used to. Like, a lot longer.

As for Delilah, I'm okay with being able to see her dialogue with Lute, but considering Lute should be the focal point and the other characters can't hear Delilah anyway, I could see how it would be simpler to not write out her dialogue at all. It's the exact same outcome but with less writing, right? And it might be favorable to Lute as a character to hear his responses out of context.

I wouldn't mind guests being in the OOC if it was just Neobullseye, but I'd hesitate to allow it because I wouldn't be okay with more than, say, two guests being semi-active in our OOC. One post a day max would be alright with me. /shrug

Yeah you've already PMed me about the posting size, but I guess I haven't been cutting down anywhere near enough in my last two posts. Looking back yeah I really haven't. I'll try and cut down more dramatically from now on then. It don't help when I'm writing for two characters who react very differently to the same thing haha. *holds out wrists to be slapped*

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, the posts have been a bit long and tedious (not to bash anyone's writing). I do think we can be a bit more succinct - and we've all been guilty of wordiness at some point or another - so let's try to be a little more conscious of it.

And I do agree with Pach and Tae, I think it would be more fun and authentic to our characters if we only saw Lute's half of the conversation. Dylan hasn't had much opportunity to interact with him yet, but it could add more flavor to the experience but cutting some of the detail.

Aside from that - happy Tuesday everyone! How are we all doing?

To tell the truth, I would've loved to join this thing. Sadly, time constriction make it so that that won't happen in the forseeable future -- if this RP is/was still open to begin with. I don't see a 'Closed' notice anywhere, so I'm assuming it's still open? Anyway, I simply do not have enough time to make a daliy post, something which seems to be a requirement judging by some other recent OoC posts? Of course, I could be completely wrong about that too...

Bah, I'm procrastinating on studying for my math (I'm already in the clear as far as passing goes) and accounting (ehhh) finals tomorrow. I'm currently doing laundry and I had to ask a stranger to help me with THE BIGGEST SPIDER EVER because it was seriously trying to crawl into the washer with all of my clothes in it. Ewwwgh! It looked like someone shrunk down a tarantula, I've never seen a spider like that in the 13 years I've lived in California. Considering what's going on in the IC right now, that is so not fair ;A;

But other than that I'm good, haha. Next week I have to register for my fall (not summer) classes, and if all goes well, I'll only have classes from noon-6 on Mondays and Wednesdays with plenty of time in between, so my posting should be fairly regular for the rest of the year :p

Also Tae, yikes! Wish I were there to have helped you out. Spiders are the cutest things <3. Hope you get the classes you want for Fall too! I'm signed up for two 3-hour long class over the summer (only twice a week for one month, but 6 hours straight of classes for the sake of saving gas money huhuhuhu), but I'll only keep em if I get a summer grant to cover the costs. Otherwise lol screw that. Much as I want to graduate on time/early, I'm not that desperate!
