Orientation

The students would arrive at the school, there would be over 40 new students arriving on this day to the academy. they would all head to Orientation at the arena as other year students are setting in the audience seats watching the new students. An elderly gentleman would come out to stand on a balcony over looking the arena. at first glance he would seem pretty pathetic and it is kind of clear his the head master. "Welcome new students to our glorious academy!" he would say, though he was talking calmly his voice would reach everyone's ears as if he was shouting. "This is a place where you will learn every aspect of the world that summoner's find home!" he says "Some of you will do great, amazing things... then there will be some of you who will do horrible things.." he says his voice seeming slightly saddened "But that will be what you decide after you attend and learn in this academy, you will all head to your first class of the day after this orientation and summon for the first time in your lives!" he says then they would all begin the anthem of the academy.

First Class

After orientation most students will separate and begin heading to their assigned classes, as our new students file into their first class room thought by their teacher Oni. as they all took their seats there would be books on the desks at each seat. one of the books would state 'The Basics to summoning' and the other would be 'Our world and the others'. Oni would smile at the students and seem to be very excited "Welcome, welcome!!" she says "This will be your summoning contracts and theory class!" she tells them all "in this class you will over the course of your stay in the academy form multiple contracts with any type of summons" she tells them "from the many realms they exist in" she smiles "now all you may know the basics by now but I have to go through everything before you each one by one go through your first contract rituals" the woman would walk over to a chest that's sitting in front of the room and opens it "this chest will have all the possible ingredients for your first contract, you may only choose one object" she tells them all.

"Now Summons can have 5 forms you can transform them into" she tells them all "the 5th form was discovered not long ago, and it's not important for your current lesson so you wont learn it for now" she states "the four forms that are important currently is the Chibi, the channeled, the spirit, and the phyiscal forms, these four forms each require different amounts of magical energy from the users" she states "currently your magical supplies will most likely only be able to handle channeled form, so that's why we are only letting you contract a lowest grade element summon today" they are told "one at a time as your name is called you will walk to the front of the room, introduce yourself, choose an item and begin with the ritual, you will reach deep inside of yourself to feel your magical energies and reach out towards your summon, most summons will take form in their chibi forms as to reduce the energy it takes to appear, it will share a memory with you.. it will most likely be painful should you do everything correctly." she tells them. "We'll have our own headmaster's grandson demonstrate the ritual, you will all follow suit afterwards" she states and motions for him to come forward.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Charles would come forward to the front of the class room and turn towards the others "Greetings I'm Charles McCloud, I'm the grandson of the headmaster and I plan to become a dragon master" he says "that is all I'm going to tell you" he says and walks over to the chest picking out a fan and grabs a piece of chalk from the board and draws the summoning circle that is required then puts the fan next to it and turns it on blowing above the circle. He'll take a knee at one corner facing the other students and put a hand on the circle closing his eyes. He'd concentrates feeling his magical energy which would come out specifically for him a strange colorless aura which is unusual sense everyone's magic usually is a type of color. it would emit around his body and seem to be pulsing into the summoning circle "I Charles McCloud call upon the ancient contracts of the past to summon thee, I hope that you will heed my call" he says opening his eyes "Come Wind elemental!" he shouts. The wind from the fan would suddenly start twisting and whipping into a solid shape as it forms into a very small white dragon with a single yellow horn on it's head. it's head almost seeming bit to bigger for it's body. the little creature would look up to Charles and it's voice would echo in his head 'I hear you...why have you called me..' "in accordance to ancient rituals my real name is Charles McCloud I summoned thee to form a contract, you have heard my true name please tell me yours" he says as he suddenly closes his eyes being hit by the being's memories he would see the wind blowing through the sky pushing things out of it's way, then he would see himself as if his surrounded by intense wind pressure though to the other students he would look normal besides a look of pain appearing on his face. The small dragon would touch his hand and the pain would vanish he would open his eyes to look at the creature 'I am Serina.. you are Charles McCloud?' Charles would speak "Yes I am Charles McCloud" then their eyes would seem to glow 'We are one as the ancient contracts decrees' Serina would speak, "our souls are one" Charles would reply 'I am Serina' "I am Charles McCloud" magical energy would emit from both and seem to intertwine in the air above them, and their voices would say together "Until the soul meets it's end we will forever be one" a big flash of light would happen and only Charles would be there, the circle would be gone. Charles would collapse backwards in a deep sweat. as the contract has been made. after he recovers he would stand and simply return to his seat.

----------------------------------------

Oni would nod at the successful contract "that is how a contract is made" she tells them all "now it might be slightly different for each element, primarily the memory" she states "you keep no secrets from your summon, and it keeps no secrets from you. you two become one and connected" she tells them all. looking at a clip board "alright.. next person" she says.

Vincent half-listened to the orientation while half-reading the open book in his hands. It wasn't really that long, sadly, and he only got to finish two pages worth of text before they had to sing the anthem of the school. From what he heard, the summoners inside this arena would either go big or go evil. Was there no in betweens? He sighed and then stood up with the other students, closed his book and start singing the anthem. It wasn't long after that when they were dismissed to their first classes.

As he headed for his classroom, he was looking for another person. The friend he made at the library, Pamela. She said she passed the examination for being a summoner and last he heard, she was going to enrol as well. Having someone you know really does ease your nerves a little bit. This was all very new to him. As someone hailing from a commoner background, seeing something so extravagant and humongous in size and being able to walk, live and learn in it is quite a unique thing. Well, he guessed that summoners did have special privileges; privileges that neither one of his parents ever got to taste before going to the grave.

Shaking the thought out of his head, he followed the other students into one of the classrooms and took his seat and quickly examining the books in front of him. One was "The Basics to Summoning", a familiar book that he managed to find in the library but he never got to finish it before moving onto the next book and it was such a long time ago that he didn't remember much about it. "Our World and the Others" was just plain unknown to him. Ah well, he guessed he didn't really needed to know about it in the past since Ms. Oni is going to teach them.

She began a rundown on the type of summons and stuff which a beginning summoner should know about. While she was doing this, Vincent began to flip through the pages of the second book, the theory book, to get to know more about it before they even start the lesson. He had a habit of being ahead in classes. When she mentioned that the headmaster's grandson was going to demonstrate the summoning ritual, Vincent looked up to see how it actually worked. He introduced himself as Charles and claimed to want to become a dragon master in the future. So there were others like him who had their minds set on a specialization. Charles began the summoning ritual and Vincent watched intently. The step by step procedure, the chants to start the summoning, Charles was doing everything exactly like what he read. He hasn't seen one in person so this was actually pretty exciting for him.

It wasn't long until a small white dragon materialized from the fan. The two exchanged their vows mentally or something like that. After a bright light, Charles was once more alone and tired. A summoning was a tiring thing to do after all. He then went back to his seat. A successful summon, that's pretty good. He wondered if he could do the same.

Well, he wanted to find that out now. He stepped up to the front. "I am Vincent Validosta." He started before bowing his head to the class. "I want to become a necromancer someday." He continued. His eyes quickly darted through the whole class and seeing the familiar blonde there put a small smile to his face. He then turned to the chest, picked up an old looking black crystal ball, a weird color for it but it works, and then picked up a chalk to recreate the magic circle earlier and then placing the black crystal ball next to it. He knelt down and placed one hand on the circle. With eyes open, his magical aura flowed from his body to the summoning circle, its color being the same light grey color like his hair. "I, Vincent Validosta, call upon the ancient contracts of the past to summon thee, please, heed my call." He took a deep breath and his eyes seemed more focused on the circle. "Come, Shadow Elemental." His voice wasn't as loud as Charles's but it had the same effect. The black crystal ball started shaking and darkness seemed to seep out of the ball and then it started to take form of a white skeletal dragon, with a size of a pup. It started talking to him mentally as well. 'I hear you, so, what is it that you want?' Vincent couldn't help but smile at the response. "In accordance to the ancient rituals, I, Vincent Validosta, which is my real name, have summoned thee to form a contract. I have revealed my true name, what is yours?" He replied. It was sudden, the pouring of the dragon's memories. Darkness began to creep from the corner of his eyes until it completely blocked it, blocking his vision of the classroom. It was painful, yes. It was like the shadow was constricting him. He relived the one where he was stuck in the well from three days until rescue came, those were dark times. The dragon would fly up to his head and then rest on it and the pain vanished. 'My name? Well, I am Polopostrous. Odd name, I know. And that is why I permit you to call me Skelly. Your choice what to call me. And you are Vincent Validosta.' Vincent nodded as his reply. "We are one as the ancient contracts decree." "Our souls are one." "I am Polopostrous." The two couldn't help but snicker at that. "And I am Vincent Validosta." Like with Charles's, their magical energy would exit their bodies and intertwine above them. "Until the soul meets its end, we will be forever as one." With that, their contract has been sealed. A flash of light washed over them and Vincent would be alone, without the dragon or the circle.

Vincent's shoulders would slump and both his hands would hold onto the floor to keep him from collapsing. It looked like it took every bit of his strength to maintain his position. He took deep breaths and then stood up. He headed back to his seat, sitting down from it before massaging his temples. That was awesome and scary at the same time. He had a smile on his face. He made a successful summon. This was the first step to becoming a professional summoner and necromancer.

I watched in silence, in the back of the classroom as already two students made their contract. I gulped, nervous and self conscience on over what will my own contract be like, would I mess up, or how much will it hurt? After the second student finishes, I decided I might as well get it over with. 'I came to this school to be a summoner, I have the magic within me, I know I can do this' are the thoughts that raced in my head as I would move up through the classroom and would get to the front. And unlit candle and a box of matches in my hands. "My name is Drake Sigurd, and I wish to be a dracomancer." I said, taking a bow. My voice was soft and shy like, stuttering a bit as well. I would draw a magic circle on the ground with some chalk, then, taking out a match from the box, I'd light it and would begin the ritual, setting the still unlit candle down in the center of the circle as I would kneel in front of it. I took a match from the match box and lit it. "I, Drake Sigurd, call upon the ancient contracts of the past to summon thee, please, heed my call." I'd use the burning match to ignite the candle, quickly putting out the match after. "Come, Fire elemental."
My voice seemed to trail in synch with the flickering fire as the flames of the candle started to rise. My eyes turned wide as the growing mass of flames turned into a ghastly figure of a reptile, and shortly afterwards fire became scales. The fire dimmed and circled around the rat sized dragon that had coiled its upper half of its torso on the top of the large candle. 'I hear you, why have you awakened me.' The voice growled in my head, if there were no words I could have sworn as I listening to a raging inferno. "In accordance to the ancient rituals, I, Drake Sigurd, which is my real name, have summoned thee to form a contract. I have revealed my true name, what is yours?" The snake-like eyes of the small dragon seemed to reflect the flames burning beneath it, as if there was a fire within his own pupils. I was at first mesmerized by this until memories flashed before me, the toxic smell of smoke as I recall being stuck in a house fire. I would wince, my skin felt like it was smoldering in burning fumes. Had I not been prepared I would have rolled about and tried to pat myself off. The memory faded right after I heard the voice of my father pulling me put the room. "My name is Kilgarrah, You best not dissapoint me, Drake Sigurd."I could still feel the afterpain of burning, despite no wounds on my body. However I kept a straight face, not wanting to seem weak in front of my summon. "We are one as the ancient contract decrees." "Our souls are one. I am Kilgarrah." "And I am Drake Sigurd." The flames would rise, consuming us both though the fire did not cause any harm, our spiritual energies flowing through the fires until it reached the top of the flames, and merged together. The flames would then disperse, my summon vanishing, leaving me with a burned out candle. The moment the summon left the magic circle seemed to burn away as if it was paper, rather quickly, and I would fall on my back, my eyes were briefly white. I'd get up, patting my skin as if I was on fire, the pain had finally left me and I would stumble to my feet. I looked at the rest of the class and looked as if I was embarrassed, and would walk back to my seat at the very back of the classroom.

Induction; lost in thoughts

'And some of you will do terrible things.' The old summoner's words echoed in Avey's mind and were accompanied by horrifying thoughts and visions, Avey saw dark silhouettes of men with glowing eyes, surrounded by large terrible beasts causing mass chaos and destruction.
Smoke filled the skies and fire scorched the lands.

"Well maybe not so many if you didn't validate the notion with your negative affirmation." Avey was standing amongst the clutter of new pupils huddled around the summoner's circle as he quietly grumbled his opinion to the the cracks stretching across the old gritty floor.
He hadn't noticed the wave of twisting heads as curious eyes searched for the owner of the unanswered name.

"Avarius Elthandeir!" The name rung loudly for the third time. Avey finally woke from his day dreams and looked up as all other eyes fell upon him.
With a light-hearted guilty smile he slides through the other students and takes his place in front of them as he heads towards the summoning floor. Those before him hadn't properly cleaned up, that was ok. Avarius walked right past the chest of objects and didn't even slow at the corner placement of the circle, instead choosing to stand right in its supposed centre with no chalk in hand. He heard the mocking whispers of his class but payed them no attention as he stood facing them all yet looking at none.

Phase one; Summon.

Without sharing words he began. His feet swiftly crossed over one another as he dipped at the knees, bowed his head and raised his arms out wide to his sides, holding the edges of his coat firmly in his hands, creating wing like flaps.
Then suddenly to the rhythm of a silent beat he moved.
With swift acrobatic agility his arms swung widely in large sweeping arc's, his coat theatrically trailing behind his rolling flourishes in a practised majesty. With a delicate grace he stepped, slid and even jumped around the small confined stage.
He spun in circles, low and high, on vertical and horizontal plains, slow, fast, small, wide.
His hands repetitively swept across the floor and he continually billowed around air with his cloak. Avey was not a static summoner, but still there were things that needed to be done.

Entranced in his own rolling flowing motions it was a display crossing the disciplined arts of tai chi with the wild primal dancing of ancient natives.
The onlooking class was divided. There were those that watched on amused, others confused while some tried, not all so hard, to hide smirks and giggles. This went on for a while. Longer then every summoner before him. There were those who grew increasingly bored of his eccentric display.

The arrival.

Were it not for the softly glowing ghost white feathers falling to the floor around him, appearing magically from thin air, he would have been dismissed as a looney time waster. But sure enough as he continued to dance more feathers formed and and fell, scattering to the floor.
Finally the elemental indicater was present as a small gust of wind came and magically gathered the feathers into a single spot before him.

The feathers formed an egg like orb, there was the bright glow of energy signalling the arrival of a summoned creature, but as the feathers fell away Avarius dropped to his knees and surrounded the summoned creature with his body and cloak...

Phase two; Contract.

...

Just as his summon had taken awhile, the negotiation phase laster longer than expected.
Silence fell the room as anticipation grew heavy in the air.
What was his summon?
Had he failed the contract?
Without movement Avey underwent his greeting telepathically and made the begining of his bond in silence.

Unification of souls.

The binding light of souls joining grew expectantly, reaching from beneath Avey it engulfed his entirety as a sudden and fierce torrent of wind washed through the room and swirled a new batch of bright brilliant snow white feathers around him.
Before the light receded or the wind settles a soft thud came from a collapsing body as an exhausted Avarius fell to the floor unconscious.

(Should he be moved, hidden beneath each lifeless hand lay a small puddle of blood. [used to create the now consumed circle.])

Asad laughed dryly at the old man's words during the orientation. Awfully black and white words from the man charged with teaching them to be summoners. He couldn't help but agree with the old man though, he had seen and experienced the latter first hand after all but the woman who raised him probably fell into the category as well. "At least the old timer's honest." He muttered under his breath before waiting out the rest of the orientation in silence.

After the orientation He followed his fellow students to their classroom where he would begin his summoning training. The thought excited him and a familiar feeling took hold of him, a feeling she had instilled in him. An interest in summoning, the power to become more than himself through a bond with something entirely new. As he walked into the room he was resolved with how gung-ho HS was to be here's. The teacher, Oni, was super excited herself and that only served to escalate his mood further. He took a seat and examined the two books they were supposed to read: "The Basics of Summoning" and "Our World and the Others." He wasn't much of a reader but he was good at following orders, probably the only decent thing he picked up during his tumultuous childhood, so reading them wouldn't feel like too much of a chore. He watched the first couple students go to the front and demonstrate the summoning procedure he could barely stay seated he was so excited.

When the Avarius guy had finished and subsequently passed out, Asad bolted up to the front, grinning like a kid in a candy store nonchalantly stepping over the unconscious summoner. "Hey I'm Asad Dumas, an aspiring Blade Master!" To say the excitement in his voice was evident would definitely be an understatement. He laughed and gave an exaggerated flourish of his arm before turning his attention to the box and grabbing his own summoning catalyst: a snow globe. To the best of his ability he recreated the magic circle and placed the snow globe in its center. The bubbly excitement he had been exuding vanished as he knelt at circle replaced by pure undeterred focus as he placed his hand on it as the others did before him. His intense concentration coaxed his magical aura out, taking on a dark blue color as it flowed into the circle.

"I, Asad Dumas, call upon the ancient contracts of the past to summon thee, please, heed my call. Show thyself, Ice Elemental!" Deciding it would be better to get over with as fast as possible the snow globe began to glow and shake itself, the snow started to emit from the object creating a light snow shower in the circles border. When the glow subsided in its place stood a small girl with blue hair, lightly rubbing her eyes as if she was adjusting them to the new light. "Um hello. I have heard you. Do you need something of me?" Asad smiled lightly at the summon before speaking again. "In accordance to the ancient rituals, I, Asad Dumas, which is my real name, have summoned thee to form a contract. I have revealed my true name to you, may I have yours, little one? Growing up the way he had, Asad had only ever had one such opportunity to experience the sensation of a having a brain freeze, and that had happened the very first time he had eaten ice cream. He could remember the so clearly that he knew that the sensation he was feeling now as the Ice girl's memories flowed into his head was like that but an hundred times worse. He felt so cold as he was forced to delve through his own memories his breath was visible in the small area of cold they had created. My name is Eira. Are you alright Asad Dumas?" As soon as she had said that the brain freeze-like sensation lessened considerably and his body began to warm up again. "I'm fine now that we are one as the ancient contract decrees little one.""Our souls are one. I am Eira." He laughed lifting the summon into his arms. "And I am Asad Dumas." "Then Until the soul meets its end, we will be forever as one." He chuckled stumbling for a second before regaining his balance, as the adorable ice spirit vanished.

"I know this is supposed to be a serious moment and all, but was she not the most adorable ever?" He joked to everyone in the classroom.

A group of men in doctor suits would come into the room with a stretcher and move Avarius onto the stretcher cleaning up and takes him out of the room to the nurse. Oni would of shaken her head at his idiotic notion with the summoning circle.

Avary couldn't believe it, he had been accepted into the Summoner's Academy, one of THE most prestigious magic schools in the world.
At Orientation, he was packed into an arena at school with tons of other children around his age, some were older, some were younger. He listened with the rest of them to the old man at the podium in the center of the arena.
After Orientation, Avary went to look for his class but he ended up getting lost, until he asked an older student where his class was, the student told him where to go and he went.
Avary slowly eased the door open to his first class of the day because didn't want to get into trouble for being late.
He opened the door, but it made a large creaking noise, crap.

The teacher would turn towards the door and look agitated when he shows up late "...how in the world did it take you this long to get to class.." she says slightly annoyed "...take your seat and pay close attention to the others and await your turn, maybe you'll learn whats going on" she states looking back to rest of the class. Oni seemed to be quick to temper should things not go the way she plans.

First day of regular school, Lazzerus was a complete stranger to the right to peacefully assemble. If you assembled in Zane in public you were Beaten and imprisoned. He kept walking keeping the note of his father in his pants, for some reason it made him feel like his father was with him at all times. Lazzerus makes his way to the arena for orientation taking a seat near the corner end of the back row. He overheard students conversing, talking about how strong their relatives are or their social ranking. Lazzerus just twiddled his fingers looking rather uncomfortable.

The hesdmaster began speaking Lazzerus paying close attention to every word , they were gonna be summoning already as of today. Straight to business, it was something that interested Lazzerus he wanted to rejoin his father and he saw this as the main way, the sooner to better. As the orientation finishes Lazzerus makes his way to class thinking about the summoning process, he walks into class taking a desk in the middle row of the classroom all the way to the left. Oni , their teacher speaks and instructs them on summoning as well as a demonstration by the headmasters son. He looked a couple years younger then Lazzerus but performed the ritual without fail collapsing shortly showing he complete it. A couple more people kept going, one being carried off after, it appeared that the ritual sucks out a ton of energy after.

Soon a tardy student arrived being scolded, seeming to be one of oni's pet peeves, as soon as the last student finished Lazzerus got up to do summoning reaching in the case, he felt a rather weird appeal to the lightbulb picking it up. He turned to the class taking a deep breath reaching into his pocket and holding the note giving him a bit of confidence "my name is Lazzerus Zale and I wish to be a blade master" Lazzerus begins initiating the summoning circle memorizing every mark crevice and arc that the other students drew. "I Lazzerus Zale call upon ancient contracts of the past to summon thee, please heed my cal lightning elemental Streaks of lightning start streaking pasting Lazzerus as he he sees a giant lightning strike in the shape of a tiger."why have you summoned me" the voice boomed in Lazzerus's ear like thunder. "I wish to make a contract with you, my name is Lazzerus Zale that is my real name" lazzerus opens his eyes in awe as he looks at the elemental."I accept your request, my name is Rajin" as a small blue cat appeared from the lightning strikes. Lazzerus was surprised that such a small elemental could be so loud. Lazzerus then began to see the memories of the elemental, he closed his eyes and saw he was in the sky flying at insane speeds like a lightning he felt his body feeling electrocuted as Rajin binded with Lazzerus. The pain lasted a bit longer then the other newbie summoners as he took more time to allow Rajin to view his past"I see you've been through a lot at such a young age" Rajin touches Lazzerus's hands ending the pain. Their eyes glew yellow as they began speaking as one. ""I am Rajin, I am Lazzerus Zale. We we are one as the ancient contract decrees. We are one until the soul meets our end" both Rajin and Lazzerus start glowing bright. ""we are one" a big flash happens and lazzerus is left alone breathing heavily on the floor, he feels as if he had been excercising for an eternity he. He takes some time to recover and gets up going back to his seat. He then puts his head down and resting some more.

Dante was next. He stood up and walked up to draw the summoning circle. Once that was done he began the ritual. "my name is Dante Uzabacie and I wish to be a beast master." he said as he put his hand on the circle. " I Dante Uzabacie call upon ancient contracts of the past to summon thee, please heed my call wind elemental." when he said that the circle started to glow as a soft voice said " I have heard your call and answered it. Why have you called me?" " I wish to make a contract with you, my name is Dante Uzabacie that is my real name." the circle stopped glowing and a small bird like thing emerged and said " I accept your request, my name is Iris." he started to fell the pain in the memories as he closed his eyes. He saw it raining hard as it fell it stung as if he was being stabbed.
Iris touched his hand and stopped the pain. " I am Iris, I am Dante Uzabacie. We are one as the ancient contract decrees. We are one until the soul meets our end." . They both started glowing bright. "We are one.". The big flash happens and Dante is alone sitting on the floor and the circle is gone. He got up immediately and went back to his seat bored as ever as if nothing happened.

There are many forms of transport in the world, such as cars, trains, bicycles, and, sometimes for active people, walking. But in Pamela's mind, absolutely none of them compared to the Jenny Morgan. The Jenny Morgan was a a fairly large helicopter, which would've looked intimidating threatening if it weren't for the bright shade of pink that Pamela and a team of the family servants had painted it years before, on her 14th birthday. Needless to say, it was the Jenny Morgan she had chosen to be the vehicle to take her to the school where she'd be sculpted into a full-fledged summoner.

The helicopter landed a little outside of the academy's campus, and Pamela waved goodbye to the pilot before hopping out. She continued waving, less at the pilot and more at the vehicle itself, as the pink helicopter flew away, becoming only a dot in the distance. She stood there for another moment, before spinning around and marching towards the school. She hadn't heard anything about school uniforms, so she had just worn tennis shoes, jeans, and a pink hoodie, complete with little cat ears as well as a tail falling just above her knees. The reason hoodie seemed like it wasn't meant for a 17-year-old was because it wasn't. She had recieved it when she was 12, but it had been big enough for her to grow into, and she had gotten far too attached to it to throw it away.

It only took her about a minute to make her way onto the campus. As soon as she did, her eyes began to sparkle with excitement. The campus itself wasn't the biggest, most marvelous thing she'd seen in her life, hell, it wasn't even nearly as big as her parents' estate, but what it represented immediately made it Pamela's favorite place in the world. Starting today, it was her life. It was her future.

Pamela followed the rest of the students into an open space, which she, after a few moments, realized was the center of some sort of arena, with older students up in the bleacher area, and an old man on a balcony. The old man talked, but Pamela was too excited to listen.  She only caught a few words, something about great things and terrible things, nothing too important.

After that, she once again followed the crowd, and eventually ended up inside of a classroom. She took one of the seats in the second row, upon which two books lay. They looked very factual and...learny. Pamela doubted they had very many pictures. They probably didn't even have a good plot. She proceeded to watch the first student, who seemed to know what he was doing. He did the ritual, summoned his summon, and returned to his seat. It was skillful and professional, but it was also, in Pamela's eyes, a bit boring. The boy's summoning had seemed so detached and impersonal.

The next boy was different, but probably just because she knew him. Vincent, the only friend she ever made back at home. It took all her willpower to not holler and wave and clap, but she did it, staying silent during his entire ritual.

The next one was nothing special, but the one following that one made up for it. the man seemed to do some sort of interpret chicken dance to summon his elemental, but Pamela didn't judge. In fact she danced along in her seat. Her dancing stopped when the light flashed and he passed out. Her spirits dropped when she saw him being carried away by paramedics.

It's surprising, though, how fast spirits can be brought back up with the power of a funny name, which the next boy, in Pamela's opinion, definitely had. When he introduced himself, she gave a single, quiet giggle. "Heh...Asad Dumbass...Heh." She muttered. Pamela was not...the most mature of protagonists, but was that such a bad thing. The nervousness floated out of her, and after the Asad boy and the boy after him, she made her way to the front of the class, the black rubber ball she had chosen at the begining of the class in hand. She picked up the used chalk and made a large circle on the ground, which appeared to be the beginning of a summoning circle, until she drew two vertical lines above an upward curving line to make a smiley face. She then moved next to the smiley face and proceeded to draw an actual summon circle. Once she was done with that, she took a deep breath and began.

"Hiya everyone! I'm Pamela Poutch! It is my wish to become the all mighty ruler of the afterlife!" She said in a tone that was anything but threatening. "So, uh, let's get this show on the road!" she held the hand with the ball in it over the summon circle. I, Pamela Poutch, call upon the old contract doo-hickies of the past to summon ya, so please listen to me." Pamela then took a deep breath, and reached to the deepest part of her mind she could go, which wasn't too far below the surface, but she figured it was good enough. "I'm ready for ya...um...dark elemental, right? Because it's a black ball?" she then waited for a few moments, eyes still closed, focusing on the ball. After about a minute, she opened one eye and peered at the ball. She then opened her other eye. "Huh...is this thing on?" she said, bouncing it on the circle. It hit the floor, rose into the air, and was caught by Pamela. She did it again. And then again. And then again. But on her fourth throw, when it hit the summoning circle, it disappeared. Pamela gave it a confused look. After about ten seconds, she spoke. Teacher? I think the summoning circle ate my ba-" she was suddenly cut off by two small hands coming out of the circle and grabbing the edge of it, a white parasol in one and a black ball in the other. The hands were attached to a girl, a discovery Pamela made when the hands pulled the body they belonged to out of the circle. The girl was young, no older than six or seven, and was absolutely adorable. Pamela wasn't sure the pale girl's exact height, but her head went up to about where Pamela's belly button was.

The young summon held out the ball. "Um...you dropped this..." she said, in a hushed, unsure voice. Pamela gave a small, gentle smile, and dropped to one knee. Originally, she was going to try to be professional about the binding, but there was no way she was going to be able to be businesslike when talking to a child.

"Actually, that was on purpose. I was calling you here. You see, I want to become friends with you. But I don't want us to just be friends. I want us to be best friends forever. Is that okay with you?" Pamela's words were soft. The girl seemed to perk up upon hearing the offer. She nodded.

"My name is Pamela Poutch. What's yours?" she asked. The girl hesitated before answering. "Inno...my name is Inno..." Suddenly, dark, horrifying memories invaded Pamela's mind. She blinked a few times, before regaining her sight and seeing the smiling, bright face of Inno. "You're life is amazing, Pamela Poutch." Pamela gave a small chuckle. "Look Inno, in a moment, you're going to have to go back to your world." the young summon shuddered, but Pamela continued. "But when that happens, our souls will be connected, so I'll be able to know when you're in trouble. But in order for that to happen, you're going to need to do what I say." Inno gave a small nod. "First, you're going to have to say 'I Inno'. On the count of three, we'll do it together. One, two, three." Pamela said her own name with the summon. "Now, together, we must say 'As the ancient contract decrees, we are one, until the very end.' Ready? One, two three." They did so, and with a bright flash, the girl was gone, and Pamela was putting her weight on her knees, breathing heavily. Satisfied, she gave a thumbs up to the class and breathlessly stated, "Nailed it!" before taking her seat again.

Ending of First Period

As the last student finished their summonings, there would of been approximately 13 successful summons, 7 unsuccessful ones where nothing happened, and 2 who had a complete failure and the thing they summoned tried to kill them, luckily though Oni acted quickly and took care of it. Oni would proceed to continue with teaching the class, she would tell them about basic care of their first summons, especially when they can sustain chibi forms. "Now I'll be letting you go shortly to go to your next class... I'll worn you right now, don't disrespect your next teacher at all.." she states "For any reason, if you do.. well this school does have a very open punishment system" she states. then the bell would ring as the class ended

Second Period

The students would meet out in the field outside of the main building, they would have changed into suitable workout clothes before coming to the field for comfort, otherwise they'd be forced to work out in clothes that could cause a lot of trouble. Their teacher would be standing there, his coat blowing in the wind, his hands in his pockets "I am your Teacher Koga" he tells them "It's my job to work you to the bone, honing your physical capabilities and your magical capabilities" he states "If your body is not prepared for the magic you will need later on, then you will simply be killed" he states "Take for example.. a water bottle that is sealed, but has water pumped into it endlessly, eventually the bottle will pop because it can't hold anymore.. that will be you if your not prepared ahead of time" he tells them "Today we're work on two things, First you much do 10 laps around the school" he states "one lap is approximately a mile or so" he says being somewhat vague in it. "the second thing will be connecting with your newly contracted summon and preforming the 'channeled' form of summoning" he tells them "now get ready, on your marks... run" he says as suddenly a golem comes charging at them from off to the side.

Now Dante was not happy but when the golem appeared he started to run but stayed close to the back of the group to help people who fell behind. He thought of a funny joke and chuckled but doing so he almost tripped not paying attention.

I watched the coach explain the task we had to do, at first I was dissapointed, but that dissapointment turned to utter terror as I saw the Behemoth of a golem behind me, I would begin to run as fast as I could, panicking with wild and wide eyes.

Each one of the summons after him was pretty nice to watch. The guy who performed some sort of dance with a blood summoning circle was weird but maybe it was another form of summoning technique only known to his family and such? Was there something like that? Before he could ask, it was onto the next summoner as that guy was wheeled out of the room. The next summons looked normal, practically the same like his and Charles's. Then there was Pamela, his friend. Her summoning was a bit more interesting since it wasn't like the others, not did exactly how they were thought. She actually used the ball as some sort of spiritual object that went through the summoning circle and got her summon from it. It was a cute little girl.

Soon they were dismissed and was warned not to piss off the next teacher. Who would do something as disrespectful as that? It's just not right. He quickly got into the clothes that were given to them so they could move with ease but Vincent was sure that they would make them practice in their original clothing further along the line, and then met outside with the others. Their teacher looked pretty dramatic with the cloak swaying and all but maybe that's just the extra cool factor. The words echoed in his mind, ten laps, one lap a mile? Holy crap. He wasn't the most athletic of people but he guessed he could manage that.

The roar of the golem made him think the could really manage it. With extra adrenaline by his side, he definitely could. He managed to pull up with those students who were ahead of the line. He took a couple of deep breaths to alleviate the panic that he felt and thus managed to get his breathing under control. This teacher might be crazy. That golem could kill them if given the chance! But therein lies the charm of the exercise. Students would definitely run from a monster like that and so no one would lag behind or give up. It was as simple as that. He just feared the fact that the teacher might not stop the golem should a student trip and fall.

In all honesty, they're actually doing a pretty good job. The first day was already so exciting. Getting your first summon, being chased by a monstrous golem for gym, what else is in store for them? The thought of it excites him, just like how the thought of getting into the school made his all happy and stuff.

Staying back some gave him no time to think if there would be away to out smart the golem to attack itself so he began to rush up to the front and think then he got it if you would get on it it would swing at you but if you got off mid swing it would hit itself! " lets do this. " he said as he stopped and turned around to face it. He jumped and landed on its arm it swung. He jumped and looked back it hit its own arm breaking it off but it still ran toward him he turned around and ran again trying to find another opening.

Moment Dante tried to fight the golem, Koga would suddenly appear in his way and slam his fist directly into his stomach "..I said run idiot" he states his face showing anger and grabs Dante's hair and begins dragging him off "you all keep running" he states as he takes dante out of site and begins a very painful punishment. With Koga's interference dante wouldn't be able to try anything with the golem, even if he was able to it wouldn't of been successful.

Lazzerus watched as the rest of the students went, as he regained magic energy. He looked outside the window. It was a nice looking day outside hopefully he would get to be outside with nature, his only friend growing up. As the last student finished up Oni warned them not to get on our next teachers bad side. As the bell signaled class change Lazzerus exited the classroom reading his schedule.

Next was physical training otherwise known as gym, Lazzerus's physical ability was above average since he was on the run a lot. Lazzerus didn't bring much with him when he escaped, Today he had on a black hoodie, grey sweatpants and some moderately worn sneakers. He desperately needed new clothing, something he would get after school. Lazzerus didn't change out clothes, yes his clothes were somewhat appropriate for gym but not for the rest of the school day.

Their teacher, Koga gave a brief description of what happens when your physical ability isn't on par with your magical ability. Lazzerus caught on quick and so did the rest of the class, to help train them he ordered 10 laps around the school, majority of the people complained but Lazzerus didn't mind, sure 10 laps around the school is a lot but he'd been through worst. As Lazzerus began stretching a golem came around the corner to chase the students. like a method of motivation for those that need a little push. As soon as Lazzerus saw the creature he knew there was no time to waste quickly taking off. He was running keeping up with the people leading the pack, not running so fast to burn out quick but not falling to far back. Lazzerus did want to be outside but running 10 laps around the school while being chased by a golem was not what he meant.

When the teacher appeared he was surprised and didn't stop in time just slammed into his fist harder. The pain didn't bother him he was more surprised than anything.

When the teach grabbed Dante's hair he knew he was in trouble but can't blam a guy for trying.
