Drake paid no attention to when Seth appeared since he was unsure if his target as actually dead. He pushed another button on his scope and it showed the heartbeats of everyone the scoop locked on to. He saw the guards rush out of the car just as his targets heartbeat stopped. He smiled as he saw them open fire at the building where he was. Their aim was poor and they’d probably hit a civilian before even coming close to hitting him or Seth. Drake removed his eye from the scoop and placed his sniper on his back. He turned to Seth and removed his goggles before he checked the hologram on his watch. His goggles warped into his watch just as he cursed.

“Great, I hope the ship has good reception, I’m going to need to contact Jinx for a few items,” Drake said before he added without thinking, “I’m really not looking forward to listening to her bitch.” He looked back at Seth and sighed again.

“If you can, get in contact with everyone to see if they need back up. I’m hoping to get more of the communicators for our next mission,” Drake said before he pointed to the right side of his head and said, “You can take the fly out of your ear. It’s already planted a communication device inside your skin. It will let you communicate with any other device it’s linked to. Trust me, they get annoying after a while if you just let them sit in your ear.” He then pulled the fly from his ear and let it faze into his watch.

“Can’t let this word get their hands on this tech. can’t image the repercussions of that happening,” Drake said

The battle with the mystery assassin was over, over before anyone can react. Tocsax and Hakim the Wise can breathe freely now, and once they were done, Hakim would say:

"Young man...you saved me, and I thank you for that. But now I must go; more needs to be done to protect the worlds." And with that, Hakim left, leaving Tocsax to sigh before going back to Mai, then saying:

"So, back to the ship? Let's fetch the others." And with that, the boy, in his eighteen-year old looking body, opened a Corridor of Darkness and went to fetch Drake and Seth, who were mopping up Stalin's goons. After a brief 'thank you', this would be followed by his' getting them all teleported to the Gummi Ship, and after that...rest.

Timeskip

Another week later, Lucille 'Lucy' Bolt would be with v2, asking him questions about his robotic body, like 'who made it?' or 'what's it made of?' or 'does it have death rays'? She, unlike Adelle, would be actively pursuing v2 for his knowledge, much to the disapproval of Judah bin Issac, who was guarding the Princess, a silent presence who still distrusted the group. Then, suddenly, the members of The Team would receive a message from Michael XIII Sideros, saying:

"First up, a pre-emptive cancellation of anyone who got a punishment, and second, we're about to reach the next world, and you're all asked to head for the Manisa League's Operations Room; there's going to be a briefing."

Once every member of the group (including the absent-and-silent Taka) were with Emperor Michael in the chamber, they would find him at the head of the projector-table in the centre of the room, a stormy look of rage on his face, the cause of which would be clarified once he spoke:

"The next world we will be in is...complicated. Basically, in this world, an alien civilization known as the Incubators have shaped human history by granting young human females the ability to transform into a new, more powerful, 'Magical Girl' form, which sounds campy and ridiculous until you get this twist: every Magical Girl is destined, once she runs out of both hope and magical energy, to transform into a 'Witch', an eldritch abomination that is then hunted by other Magical Girls to generate energy meant to stave off the natural process of entropy, aka the heat death of the universe."

"And the Princess of Heart we are searching for, one Madoka Kaname, is about to become a Magical Girl, and then degenerate into a Witch, thus dooming our efforts, unless we can prevent it." The holographic projector on the table would then show an image of a fourteen-year old, pink-haired schoolgirl with a faint smile on her face.

"Madoka Kaname is also the most powerful Princess of Heart we've seen yet, because thanks to her best friend who has a crush on her, Homura Akemi," the projector shifted to show another schoolgirl with striaght black hair, purple eyes, and a serious, determined look on her face, "her story has been going through a hundred time-loops; Homura's power is to rewind time back a month, in order to save Madoka from becoming a Witch."

"Our job, of course, is to help Homura save her friend/crush, as well as defeat the most powerful Witch currently in existence, Walipugisnacht, who provides the impetus for Madoka to accept the Incubators' offer. We also need to defeat the Heartless, as well, as," he then looked at Drake, "people from your Homeworld, Chronos, was it? You see, they, in their quest for knowledge, have been contacted by the Incubators, who seek to form a third force that can stand against the remnants of the Keyblade Order - me and this group - and the Seekers of Darkness." Emperor Michael kept frowning, then changed the projector yet again to show a blue-haired schoolgirl the same age as Madoka and Homura, and a young boy on a hospital bed, one with a broken hand.

"Another key towards Madoka's fall are Sayaka Miki, her other best friend, and her crush, Kyosuke Kamijou, whose lasting maiming would cause Sayaka to accept the Incubators' bargain and become a Magical Girl, then a Witch. Your first job is to make sure this doesn't happen by healing Kamijou and keeping Sayaka from doing anything reckless. This would be complicated by the fact that the enemies from Chronos are already moving to kidnap Kamijou and Sayaka...now."

The Emperor finally finished.

This rest period had been slightly more enjoyable than the last one, if only because the 2nd princess actually seemed to want him around. He was probed and cajoled into reveling detailed technical specifications for himself. The inner workings of his electronic brain, the Tesla system with which he controlled his lightning, the metallic composition of his outer armor and the Gummi-block derived nature of his under-armor and artificial skin. These were technically state secrets he was giving away, but he got around this block by recognising her the highest ranking mechanic on the ship, which she was in the technical sense, and would need to know this information should he require repairs. He derived pleasure from this workaround, as most robots did when they found such technicalities in their programming.

He did not explain his power source. That was a bridge too far even for him.

He did tell her, however, about the experiments that had lead to the foundation of his worlds societies. He even gave her the coordinates to the Islands where the research had been secretly carried out. If such a program existed in her world she might be able to find something there. He didn't worry about what she would do if she found something. The power could give her the ability to be god or devil, but she was a princess. If she found it she would be a god.

v2 shot to his feet as soon as the N were halfway out of the Emperors Mouth. "Teleport Now." He said, sternly, quickly, and in a higher pitch than normal. "Now!"

Had that been an exclamation point? No, no time. There was no time. The mission hadn't even started yet and was already endangered. He couldn't even express disapproval it would waste too much time.

The past week for Ryteb was not spent in any form on relaxation, but filled with constant training; both physically and mentally. Finding his powers and psyche lacking against Retsam, he had decided to restart his training at the basics. Inside his room, he practices the five basic movements of elemental magic over and over, until his body could barely move. While he recovered from physical strain, he put himself under intense mental training as he tried to attain a communion with all the elements at the level he was with fire.

It was only his body's desire for food that made him venture out into the rest of the ship, though he tried to maintain an appearance of having just been reading and relaxing the entire time. From time to time he did nip over to see how Cheese was doing with her magic, but it was mostly just training.

Ryteb cocked his head, slightly confused. "I have no idea what's going on, but we'll just beat up anyone who gets in our way, rescue the princess, and save the world." he flashed a cheeky smile, that was beginning to become his trademark. It would probably end up that way anyhow, so why pretend otherwise.

Drake sat in the meeting scrolling through his watch as he took inventory. He sighed ever second or so as his list for supplies grew. He didn’t like being this low and knew he needed to gather more soon. However, he was unsure how good the reception was here or for that matter: if they would allow him to teleport back to gather supplies. His attention soon turned to the conversation when The Emperor mentioned his world and the people in it.

“So the greed for knowledge finally reached an all new low,” Drake said. He didn’t seem to surprise by the news that some of the people in his world were working for the darkness. However, he was curious as to who would be their lap dogs for this. He felt a pit in his stomach which he quickly pushed away and added, “Before we go any further. I’d like to ask to be excused for a few hours. I need to gather some supplies. Whether that means I’m teleported back into Black Falcon City or am able to use my watch to get in contact with Jinx is up to you.” the pit once again formed in his stomach. The hell? Why am I getting the feeling something bad’s going to happen? Drake thought. He turned his attention to the rest of the group.

“If we’re going to face people from my world, the be prepared for futuristic tactics,” Drake said before he began to list off a few battle strategies his worlds army used, “Robots, people like me with infused powers in their DNA, portable Rail guns, and the like. There are those that have more technological weapons then me. The smaller the weapon, the worst the effects. Trust me when I say this: we don’t go big and flashy.”

Moscow ~ Pre-Timeskip

"Hmm... well, let's have a look-see then, shall we?" chuckled Seth, who opened a miniature Corridor next to his head and looked like he was pressing his ear against it like someone listening to a conversation from behind the door, only for it to suddenly expand and produce Tocsax.

"I'll uh... take that as a "yes" on the whole "let's get outta here" thing." said Seth, his grin widening a bit as he took the liberty of opening a new Corridor to take them back shipside. Before going through, Seth heard Drake's suggestion about the fly thing and so he quietly plucked it from his ear and sent it back to its owner. After that, well, it was back to the ship for everyone.

Manisa League ~ One Week Later

The past week for the Nobody was surprisingly quiet for him. He got his coat back that he loaned to Drake and donned it once more. He seemed to keep a low profile, minimizing the use of his powers and - even more surprising - the amount of pranks he pulled this week. After all that exertion back in Moscow, Seth had a feeling in his gut it might have attracted unwanted attention from people who may or may not have a bone to pick with him.

He listened to the rather confusing explanation of their next destination. A world where aliens turned human girls into Magical Girls that eventually degraded into evil witches? Yep, definitely a new one on him. Seth had to been several iterations of Earth and he was pretty sure none of them involved aliens and witches... at least that he was aware of anyway. Speaking of aliens, it sounded like they were the source of all the trouble, and when the explanation was done he decided to make an "innocent" suggestion.

"Uh, question." Seth piped up, raising his hand, "These Incubator guys... sounds like they're the source of the trouble. Can't we just eliminate them?" he asked, keeping an innocent grin, "No more Incubators, no more Magical Girls, and no more Witches." he scratched his head, making sure he had that logic straight, "Between the fleet and the Nobodies Tocsax and I control... surely we can take them on, yeah?" then he just... shrugged. Still doing the "clueless" routine it seemed, even though it was pretty apparent by this point that the Nobody was anything but that.

"Oh, right... you guys should know that I... may have overdone it a bit back in Moscow. May wanna keep our eyes peeled for anyone whose attention I might have accidentally attracted. Heh... whoops."

Mac and Cheese

“Just send them an e-mail or something for the stuff you need, it’s what I’ve been doing.” Mac looked over to Drake as he explained. “Or ask one of the Moogles to grab stuff for you.”

“Take it you finally finished the email?” Cheese rolled her eyes as she looked over the information on display.

After saying he had, Mac and Cheese then shared look that ended with Cheese indicating towards the Emperor. Mac got the message.

“uh, Emperor Michael.” Mac stepped up towards him and moved a little away from the others. “Mind if I have a word with you. In private? There’re one or two things I want to talk about.”

Meanwhile Cheese was more concerned with the Witches and the sources of power the Magical Girls made use of. Overall the whole idea of it didn’t sound ridiculous to Cheese. In fact, looking over the files in front of her it seemed a decent system. It was the affect the Witches had on the surrounding humans that made Cheese play with her braid in thought; the shields she had made were more for physical damage not magical.

“Why would you want to destroy the incubators?” Cheese turned another page and continued to read about the Witches Barriers. “They provide a service for a cost and it’s all laid out fairly so it’s not as if they’re doing anything wrong. There’s not really any reason why we should stop them.”

“Even in my world humans can produce a lot of energy, it’s why changelings are even a thing to begin with.” Cheese set down the file as she explained. “Humans can’t use it normally so the Incubators might as well put it to some use.”

After they got back to the ship, Mai was brought to the clinic to have her injuries checked at Taka and Tocsax's suggestions since she turned down their offers to use their healing spells on her. She still found the magic of healing her injuries rather off-putting. Or maybe she just didn't like how it feels to have her injuries suddenly disappear? The girl wasn't entirely sure.

The rest of the week was mostly uneventful because of that. Although she did try and train with her Aero magic once. The situation at Moscow didn't give her a chance to actually try it out in actual combat, and she was pretty eager to get better at it.

She was one of the last to arrive at the meeting room, although thankfully she didn't miss anything. While most of the terminologies flew by her head, she understood how grave the situation currently was.

"Madoka Kaname..." Mai's face curled into a frown as she thought about the situation. The poor girl was at the center of everything. It didn't even sound like she has much of a choice in the matter. Some crap will go down, and if it is true that she is as strong as they said, then she probably will be the end of the world when she becomes a Witch unless they do something about it.

Cheese and Seth talking about the Incubators got her thinking however. "How do they fit in all of this? What's their goal?" Cheese seemed to have the answers to it, so she made a mental note to ask her when she gets the chance.

"Done," spoke Emperor Michael to Drake, "you can use your watch to get back in contact with your world for a few hours to get whatever supplies you need; the rest of the team can use your tactical advice to hold back the enemy for enough time. If you can also get information about the various deals being made, that would be good too." He then faced Ryteb, then smiled.

"Good to see such confidence. Anyway...I was going to take v2's advice and teleport us down immidiately, but Seth speaks my language, and I don't mean Greek," The Emperor said. "Very well, we shall once again split our forces into three groups; one to rescue Sayaka and Kyosuke, one to get in contact with Homura, and one to destroy the Incubators and end their meddling in human affairs once and for all."

He chose not to listen to Cheese's defense of the Incubators, and spoke to Mai:

"Their goal is independence, as well as a desire to keep the universe alive, even if it is by causing grave amounts of suffering. Either way, we've lost enough time."

And with that, v2, Ryteb, Mai, and Taka (if he hadn't disappeared) would be taken to the interior of a hospital, where a shimmering field, akin to a Stopga spell, but with Ryteb not sensing magic, had stopped the flow of time and the movement of anyone inside. In the room to Mai's left was Kyosuke Kamijou and Sayaka Miki, a sad expression on their face as they looked out towards the stas through the hospital's window.

The kidnappers from Chronos hadn't arrived yet...

-----

In the meantime, Tocsax and Seth were at a strange...area, an area that could be mistaken for another world entirely. Miniature Galaxies can be seen swirling in the sky, while the 'land' itself was a labyrinth of walkaways, crystals, and floating panes of light, which resembled that which Hakim used. Small, cat-like creatures with gleaming white fur with red markings and eyes, with large, triangular ears and long tails, all of which made them artificially cute, wandered the corridors, pausing only when they noticed the two Nobodies.

Humans - no, Nobodies, a telepathic voice boomed out from the inhabitants, if your business in the Incubators' Citadel is the destruction of our civilization, we must warn you that you risk the overall welfare of this universe...then again, mortals are so uncautious.

And with that, Tocsax and Seth would feel as though their heads and ears were assaulted by the mother of all migranes combined with the screecing of nails across a blackboard. Memories would flash across both of them, even Seth's, although the latter would be far more recent, mostly involving the quest.

Suddenly, a hologram would appear before both of them, a young girl with light brown hair, wearing a pink-white breastplate, skirt, hand and arm guards, and plate shoes, carrying a sword.

Our universe's version of Jeanne D' Arc, a Magical Girl of immense power whose wish was 'to bring Light to France'. A 'Holy Warrior', her duplicate is intended to be a match against dark powers held by the entity known as Seth. As for Tocax, however...

Another hologram appared, but not one of a Magical Girl, but rather, of an eighteen-year old who looked exactly like Tocsax, wearing a red-orange shirt, blue jeans, and red-white sneakers, wielding a Keyblade - no, the X-Blade, a weapon slightly larger than a normal Keyblade, and whose looked more like a sword than Tocsax's weapon.

"Ascot..." Tocsax whispered.

We remember the origins of the Multiverse, entity known as Tocsax, the Incubators said in unison. We will not let that which shattered the worlds exist again.

-------

Mac and Cheese, meanwhile, would be teleported outside an ordinary apartment building, whose door would open to find Homura, now in her Magical (School)Girl costume, pointing an AK-47 at them.

"Who are you?" she would ask, "did Kyubey send you?"

“Why would you want to destroy the incubators?” Cheese turned another page and continued to read about the Witches Barriers. “They provide a service for a cost and it’s all laid out fairly so it’s not as if they’re doing anything wrong. There’s not really any reason why we should stop them.”

""Destroy them"...?" the Nobody cocked an eyebrow, "...you misunderstand me. I said we should eliminate them. Drive them off? Remove them from the equation? Of course we can't kill them all..." his innocent grin never faltered, but he did offer the fairy a wink, "...that would just be silly. And very, very evil. I'm guessing the boss over there wouldn't want us to go sinking to Leo's level just to complete a mission." interesting thing for him to say, considering that little stunt he pulled against Nate and Nora back in France.

"Maybe I misheard the briefing, but these Incubator people are manipulating innocent girls into accepting powers they do not grasp or understand and then allowing them to suffer what sounds like a fate worse then death... right?" Seth asked, managing to summarize the basis of the world in that single question, "How is that not a reason to stop them? You guys are trying to save people, yeah?"

"Whelp, this is definitely a... world." Seth said in response to his new surroundings. He and Tocsax were sent to the Incubator's world, the Emperor apparently agreeing with Seth's assessment of the aliens since the twos' mission was simply to take them down. Whether he meant actually destroying them or not, well... it didn't really matter. In the end, the Incubators had to be stopped before they could ally themselves with Leo and become an even larger threat. The idea of Leo being able to add an army of Witches or Magical Girls to his forces, well, that was just unacceptable.

Humans - no, Nobodies, a telepathic voice boomed out from the inhabitants, if your business in the Incubators' Citadel is the destruction of our civilization, we must warn you that you risk the overall welfare of this universe...then again, mortals are so uncautious.

The Nobody instinctively clutched his head when the migraine came out of nowhere. Compounding that was a horrible screeching noise in his ears. And of all things he started seeing... a pyramid, with him inside it. He was preparing to face Hakim, so it looked like the incident just before they met the Princess of Heart in that world. After that he saw Moscow - more specifically, the tanks followed by his previous encounter with the assassin. What exactly were the Incubators trying to accomplish by making him relive recent events? Then some kind of hologram appeared. A girl in some kind of armor with a sword.

Our universe's version of Jeanne D' Arc, a Magical Girl of immense power whose wish was 'to bring Light to France'. A 'Holy Warrior', her duplicate is intended to be a match against dark powers held by the entity known as Seth.

"So... you're basically sacrificing innocent girls to save your universe?" Seth asked, the headache pain starting to die down, "Or maybe you're just trying to save your own skins?" the image of Jeanne raised her sword in preparation for an attack, "It's all just numbers to you guys, right? The ends justify the means..." the girl lunged, going for a straight charge only to be pushed back by a sudden burst of sand, "Can't say I disagree with that, but my employer? Well, he does disagree, and asked me ever-so-nicely to come put a stop to it. So here I am."

Jeanne charged again, thrusting her sword at the Nobody several times, even throwing in the occasional horizontal or diagonal slashes to vary it up. Seth was fast, though, able pivot his body from side to side or just sidestep the attacks altogether. Without warning he spun his body around and his entire leg from knee to ankle smashed into Jeanne's waist and sent her back several feet. It wasn't a very hard hit, so she recovered almost instantly and was on the move again.

"So, all we have to do is stop the bad guys from kidnapping the girls." Ryteb grinned, ready to show off the results of his training, "First off we need to bottleneck the assailants, so they have to fight on our terms. Please stand away from the walls people."

Standing in the middle of the room, Ryteb performed many gestures in quick succession. People in the know of elemental magic would see that he was using the five basic stances one after the other in succession to write a far more complex spell. A spiderweb of metal began to spread across the window, reinforcing it from attack, and from the slithering sounds in the walls, the same thing was happening there. The door to the room shone golden, as it was turned from wood to metal, preventing anyone from simply trying to bash it down.

"That should buy us some time, but it's no means impenetrable. Taka, much as I loathe to admit it, your dark corridor allows you to bend space and move practically instantaneously, so I'd like to ask you to scout out where Chronos is coming from. Mai and V2, I suggest you guys get prepared for when they arrive. I'm going to continue to strengthen the room to make it much harder for them to get in, but I have no idea of their full capabilities." As he said this, he returned to his stances, using his power over the elements to fortify the room with the two girls. As he did this, his mind was cast back to his mental training with Odin.

"Aargh!" Ryteb screamed, as the attempted firaga spell backfired, "Why can't I do this... how am I so weak..."
Odin, or at least the remnants of Odin's heart, walked over and patted his young apprentice on the back. Smiling down at his student, he said; "Don't focus on what you can't do, but what you can. Remember, a tower that reaches the heavens is made of thousands of tiny blocks."
What I can do? Ryteb thought, All I've been doing for this week has been basic movements. Wait... a tower is built out of many blocks?
In quick succession Ryteb used the stances for Lightening, then Fire, and finally Wind. The resulting blast from the attack sent Ryteb flying backwards. That was insane, you could combine the elemental stances to make something like that?
"I wasn't planning on teaching you this until you had mastered basic magic." Odin smiled, glad at his student's progress, "But strangely you are more suited to this kind of magic than regular elemental magic. By combining stances, you can weave spells of both stronger power and greater complexity than regular magic. Continue to practice this, and I can show you new stances to augment it."

Mac and Cheese

“A simple no would have sufficed.” Mac grumbled bitterly.

He and Cheese stood outside the apartment building, it looked almost the same as those they saw around London; bleak, grey and made of concrete. Although it did seem more open to the elements than the ones they were used to which may have had something to do with the climate. The pair walked towards it.

“Guess we have no choice but to ask Tocsax.” Cheese slid on her gloves. “You did apologise for throwing that table at him I take it?” She knew he hadn’t, but she wanted to tease him.

Cheese wasn’t listening to Mac’s complaint about bringing minors into a battle, she understood where he was coming but if they proved useful they might as well fight. Her attention was more fixated on the chills dripping down her spine, she could feel magic pooling around her in swirls that gradually tensed and released like someone struggling to breathe. Something was coming. Something strange and wrong. Cheese didn’t like it. A short stab in her skull told her that Mac was in danger.

“You okay?” Mac had noticed her wince.

Cheese didn’t get a chance to answer. Mac had barely reached the doo when it opened to reveal their target Homura Akemi, with a gun. Mac swore very loudly and Cheese swiftly placed herself between them. Cheese very much wanted to disarm Homura but given what the file had said about time manipulation she doubted she’d have much of a chance. Cheese could sense magic coiled tightly within the shield she wore on her arm.

“Do we look like we were sent by that twisted little ass hat!” Mac spluttered in a justifiably panicked voice. He thought for a second with his computer screen head tilted to the side. “Actually, don’t answer that.”

Drake watched as the team disappeared in a blink of an eye. He chuckled and stated, “Seems like I’m not the only one here that knows about teleportation tiles.” He still didn’t believe in the “Magic” everyone said they used. Even though he saw them use it and even explain it. He’d still didn’t believe in the whole magic issue. He raised his arm and a hologram appeared from his watch’s face. He pressed a few images and the picture of a phone with three blinking dots under it appeared from the watch. The image lasted a few seconds before two worlds: “Voice Only” appeared in the hologram.

“Thank you for calling Bad Luck. My name is Jinx, how can I help you?” the woman asked. She sounded like she was annoyed that she had to answer. Drake took a deep breath and sighed. He knew what was coming and he just wanted to get it over with.

“Hey Jinx,” Drake said. There was a long pause before Jinx responded.

“You heartless bastard!” Jinx yelled before she continued, “you disappear for what seems like a month and now you decide to call me!”

“Yeah, about that,” Drake sighed.

“Not to mention the client you were hired by has been up my ass asking when the Scorpion Bee eggs are coming. We’ve already missed the deadline and he’s super pissed!” Jinx stated.

“Sorry about that, something came up and was,” Drake said before he added, “Teleported to another job.”

“Where? I can’t find you on my map,” Jinx said.

“I’m currently not on,” Drake said before he added, “the planet anymore. It’s a long story. Look, I just need some supplies. The usual, plus a few extra”

“Of course,” Jinx said annoyed before she walked away. As she gathered the items she was heard in the background saying, “you never call just to talk. It’s always about supplies and new jobs. Never hey Jinx, let’s hang out. No, I’m just a merchant and nothing else.” There was a loud thud before she asked, “What else did you need?”

“I need three more Raptures, ten more Inferno Ammo for both my revolvers and sniper, Seven Wire Bullets, five Cannonball Bullets, eight Atomic Bombs four regular and four citrus flavor, eight I-Flies, and six Hornets,” Drake said. There was no sound from the other end for several seconds before another thud came from the other end.

“Geez, the hell you doing?” Jinx said before she added, “fighting in a small war?”

“Something like that,” Drake said. He took a deep breath and sighed. He knew what was coming next, but he needed the extra boost so he said, “Also need three Columbia.”

“No,” Jinx quickly stated before she added, “I’m not going to be the one who puts you back on that wagon! Not after all the progress you’ve done. You really want to get addicted to that shit again?”

“Trust me Jinx, I’ll be fine. It’s all in moderation right? So I’ll just take them only when necessary,” Drake said. He didn’t have the heart to tell her he’d been taking them for a few months already. He knew how much she’d help him with the addiction, but with everything that’s been happening. He needed them.

“No, I’m not giving them to you,” Jinx said again.

“Aren’t you supposed to do what the customer says?” Drake questioned.

“For any customer who walks into my shop, I’ll gladly give them what they want,” Jinx said before she added, “But you’re a different story. I can’t, in good conscience give you this drug.”

“You got some good morals for a black market merchant,” Drake said.

“Coming from a Bounty Hunter that has standards and issues with killing anyone under the age of fifteen,” Jinx said. Drake rubbed his eyes and sighed.

“Jinx, just give me the Columbia. I promise I’ll be fine,” Drake said.

“No,” Jinx stated again.

“Damn it Jinx! Either give it to me or I’ll go to Chloe to get it,” Drake threatened. There was a few seconds of silence. It dragged on for several seconds.

“Will that be all?” Jinx asked as she sounded like she said it through gritted teeth.

“Yeah, that will be it,” Drake said. A large square appeared from his clock face. He pressed his thumb on the square and a white light scanned his thumb. After several seconds the words “thank you” appeared before a circle appeared and spun for several seconds. A female voice announced from his watch, “Transaction complete. New items in inventory. Inventory space left: 2 Megabytes.”

“Thanks Jinx,” Drake said.

“Whatever,” Jinx said.

“Oh, by the way, have you seen any shady people around town. Like someone in a black rob?” Drake asked.

“Everyone in this town looks shady,” Jinx said before she added, “However, there was these three guys saying the government have been looking for new recruits for a special mission. Paying them a hell of alot of Credits.”

“Can you keep me updated; I fear they’ve done something to acquire more knowledge. You know how greedy the government can get when knowledge is involved,” Drake said.

“Will do,” Jinx said. However, before the call ended, she asked, “You still have it don’t you?” it was Drake's turn to stay quiet for a few seconds.

“Yeah, it’s already gotten me in trouble,” Drake joked.

“Just be careful, ok. I’ve seen what that things done to you. Letting it delve deeper into your psyche might cause you to get more lost inside of it,” Jinx said.

“No worries, I’ll be fine,” Drake said before he pressed the hologram and the call ended. He went through his new inventory and saw all his requested items in there. Even the Columbia which he felt a little bit bad he made her put it in there, but knew it was essential for his mission.

Drake turned to the emperor and said, “Alright, I’m all set. You can use the teleporter in the floor to send me where I’m needed. I’ve fought alongside Seth so if I may suggest that. He’s a well skilled fighter. Also I need you to send the other these.” Drake’s watch glowed and metal flies flew from his watch.

“These are I-Flies. They’ll imbed a communication device into our companion’s ears. This way we’re all linked and can communicate with one another,” Drake explained. He was still worried about who his world sent. However, he was unaware of what horrors that lay before him and the others.

----

On top of a building, a man overlooked this new world he and his companions had been teleported to. He scoffed at how low-tech this new world was. He was unsure how someplace like this was considered a world.

“So, how long are you planning on waiting?” a woman asked as she walked up to him. She was slender and stood five foot ten. She had on a white dress with a black trim. She flicked some of her short purple hair from her face as a forked tongue flickered from her mouth. She had a large snake tattoo that went from her right ankle, upper he leg and disappeared into her dress. It reappeared on her left shoulder and wrapped around her left arm as the mouth of the snake was open, ready to devour her hand.

“Didn’t you say we had to wait for our targets,” young man stated. He was a six foot two young man with short brown hair. He wore a white tank top and bleached blue jeans. He lay on his back on the roof with his arms under his head. He yawned and added, “Maybe they got lost. This would work for me because it would give me more time to nap.”

The woman rolled her eyes just before a third man walked over to the young man and kicked him in the ribs. It wasn’t a hard kick, but enough to get the young man’s attention. The third man looked to be about thirty and had short blond hair. He looked to be the same height as the young man. He had on black jeans with dog tags in each pant loop. He had a red hoodie that was unzipped and showed his green shirt underneath. The young man looked up before pushing the man in the red hoodie’s brown work boot away.

“You did enough sleeping on the way here. Now get your lazy ass up,” the man in the red hoodie ordered.

A fourth man was leaning against the wall near the door to the building. He had been silent all the way here and just observed his companions arguing. He wore all black and white: black coat that covered his white shirt underneath, black pants and black boots. On his face was a pure white mask that looked to be made out of steel. The mask had black tinted eye holes that hid his eyes.

A group of bats flew around the building as an elderly man sat in what looked like a wicker chair. A glass table sat to his side as he slowly picked up his cup of steaming red tea and sipped at it. He watched the events unfold around him as a smile formed on his face. He wore a black tuxedo with a red tie. On the table was a black top hat and hanging from the table was a cane with a metal grip that looked like a bats head.

Another man, about the age of twenty was sitting with his legs dangling off the edge of the building’s roof. He wore a light purple striped shirt and tan pants. He smiled as he looked at the sword sitting next to him. It had white bandages wrapped around its handle and parts of the blade. I can’t wait to show you off brother. The man thought as his smile grew to a Chester cat grin

A little girl about the age of 12 twirled around on the roof top humming a sweet melody before she stopped and skipped towards the man and woman. She smiled warmly as she asked, “Will big brother be here?” she wore a blue and white dress and a blood red bow was in her hair that was up into a ponytail.

The man looked to the little girl before he looked back out into the city and said, “I believe so, but we’ll need to find him first. He’s trapped inside a hard cased cell. He’ll need our help getting him out.” The little girl squeed before she went back to twirling on top of the building’s rooftop. A smile formed on the man’s face as the woman leaned against his right shoulder. The hockey mask latched to the left side of his pants swayed in the wind.

Alternate World War II: Pre-Timeskip
"Retsam tapped his head in thought. After a few seconds, he lowered his hand and began to make a gesture. Around Taka, the Heartless began to combine into two large massive orbs of darkness. The orbs began to crack, and exploded into two Guard Armors, ready to destroy Taka.

"Honestly, you just seem to be a nuisance... so I'll let these guys handle you..."

The Guard Armors had broken through his defense on multiple counts, dealing blows that would result in him hurtling towards the ground. Just when he thought he had an opening, the other Guard Armor would slam an appendage unto his blind spot, blowing him away into a nearby wall or collapsible structure. He endured this brutal beating long enough to figure out a way to cleverly outpace these massive foes. By taking so many hits, he was able to gauge just how fast the Guard Armors took to attack, and how long it would take him to evade such a blow. Using this information to his advantage, he'd leap from limb to limb, each one being worn down from taking damage from the other Guard Armors' flying fist or foot. Soon enough, all that was left were their torsos and heads, a once strong Heartless tag team now reduced to such a minor thorn in Taka's side. "Its been lovely, but, this is the end.." The Nobody then launches a single stream of Ragnarok projectiles from the tip of his blade, doing enough damage for both Guard Armors to fully dissipate. With this exhausting fight won, he regroups with his teammates, the well-being of his comrades being the only thing that allowed him to outlast the blackout he would undergo upon returning to the ship and making sure that they were gotten to where they needed to be.

Timeskip: Present

The following week would be short for Taka, for he would out cold in the clinic for quite some time. Not knowing just how long the Nobody would be out of commission, his caretakers stated to those that would come looking for him or asking how he was that he was simply recuperating from "exhaustion" and should not be disturbed until his condition has improved. Taka did not awake until three days after the initial incident. Upon his awakening, he could feel just how sore his entire body was. It was a battle within itself for him to even sit up in his bed. However, this didn't stop the Nobody from getting back into the swing of things. For the remainder of the week, Taka would simply do some basic training to help his muscles breathe, his movements becoming less stiff through this repetitive, yet effective treatment. Being the last person to attend the group discussion of their target destination, Taka was now back to his normal black coat, his face still decidedly veiled by his hood. He hung near the back of the room, leaning back against a wall, arms crossed, listening intently to every word the Emperor utters. Once questions had been answered the teams were assigned, he was then teleported to their designated location on the new world alongside his teammates.

I'm going to continue to strengthen the room to make it much harder for them to get in, but I have no idea of their full capabilities."

With the order being given, Taka could do nothing except oblige Ryteb by doing as he was told. Figuring the best vantage point could only be found above him, Taka utilizes his Corridor of Darkness to move unto the hospital's rooftop, pushing his flashbacks of his most recent fight to the far reaches of his mind, knowing that the role he was currently playing was vital to his team's objective. He couldn't waste time remaining puzzled about this particular event. He knew he needed to concentrate.

v2 was suddenly in the halls of a hospital. Everything stood still and silent. He whistled at the slight shimmer that emanated from the walls and floors, the distortion that seemed to be holding everyone in place. "You know, I fought a heartless that could do something like this once." he said causally. "Big purple-yellow guy, with rabbit ears and a clock for a face. Shut down Shibuya for a few days. The old men eventually had to bite the bullet and strap this untested flux capacitor to my back. They had no idea what was gonna happen, worst case I get copied into every conceivable moment throughout all time once I stepped into that frozen field but...I'm bragging." He said, confusion painting his face. In a moment he reached up and placed both hands against his face, feeling at the lids of his eyes and the contours of his mouth. "I'm emoting?"

Realization hit him like a backhanded slap. He placed one hand to his forehead. The movement didn't display any of the robots mechanical hyper-precision or speed, and as he stood taking in the fact that he would have noticed sooner if there wasn't something taking up processing power he moved slightly instead of holding stock still as he normally did. "I'm in Japan. In public, technically speaking." He glanced over at the picturesque presentation of purest love through the window of the door. As extraordinary as they were, and as thoroughly stopped as they were, they still counted as the general public. He didn't even have to look to know there were others in the building as well. The adoring public that needed a hero to save them. "There goes, like, what, 10 or 11 percent of my combat effectiveness right there. This is another Japan, this shouldn't count. I wouldn't even be complaining about this if I had my way, it's just something I have to affect."

Still, even if his thinking speed was diminished as this program was running he was still sharp and as he looked over the pair of girls an idea struck him. He walked over to the door, past Mai, and opened it to step inside and get a closer look at the scene. Then his internal communicator clicked on. "v2 to Manisa League. We've arrived successfully and the girl is safe, for now. I'd like to arrange another teleportation to take them out of this room, right to med-bay if that's possible. If not I'm just going to have to find a closet to hide them in. I'd ask Taka to extract them but he's out looking for the enemy. I didn't have this idea nearly as fast as I would have normally."

"Let's end this!" Jeanne's hologram said as she brought down her sword in a vertical slash, sending out a wave of light at Seth, which was not meant to be her primary attack; rather, she would leap up and try and flip herself behind the Nobody, slashing out with her blade once more.

Tocsax, meanwhile, was launching a stream of dark projectiles at the Ascot Hologram, who in turn reacted with a barrier of green light that reflected the bolts back at his opponent, who then froze the hologram in a block of ice, only to find the construct teleporting out, and launching a baragge of bolts of pure white light...

Seth didn't appear to react at first. It wasn't until the wave of light came dangerously close that a dome of sand sprung up around him and acting as a protective shell of sorts. Of course, an attack of light like that wouldn't be stopped by dark sand for very long, especially if compounded by a secondary strike from the flank. This woman was pretty skilled, but the Incubators were about to learn just who it was they were up against.

Jeanne's attacks both connected, and Seth's protective dome of sand appeared to be reduced to a harmless pile of sand. But the Nobody himself was not in sight. Always the tricky bastard, Seth used a Corridor within the dome to vanish from sight. Meanwhile, as the hologram of Ascot had just launched a sizable volley of light energy bolts, what should appear between the pair? A Corridor of Darkness, naturally. The Corridor caught the volley of projectiles, only to send them... over to Jeanne.

After emerging from the Corridor, Seth flashed an unsettling grin, "Attacking your own ally? Not very sporting of you, I think." he said with a chuckle, effectively establishing himself as an opponent of both Jeanne and Ascot. As long as this was two versus two, then he and Tocsax may as well have each others' backs.

Tocsax would smile, saying:

"You really are good, Seth." He would then raise his Keyblade high up in the air, causing bolts of lightning to come down and impact not just Jeanne and Ascot's holograms, but several of the walkaways and crystals. Continuing, the Nobody Keyblader would then speak:

"Let's maximize damage to Incubator infrastructure while fighting; after all, we need to take them out of the fight."

Jeanne and Ascot, meanwhile, would step up their game. With new programming subroutines given them by the Incubators, Jeanne would lift up her sword and cause columns of light that were as fast as well, light, to come down and impact Tocsax and Seth, while Ascot would cast:

"Zero Graviza!" in a hollow, afraid voice, causing the two Nobodies to float up after getting hit or avoiding the columns of light. The hologram of the Multiverse's 'creator' would then ready his Holo-Keyblade, which was in the shape of a regular Kingdom Key, and teleport directly at Tocsax, before saying, once more:

"Ars Arcanum!" letting loose a flurry of glowing strikes and cuts at Tocsax.

"Maximum carnage, huh? I think I've got it." Seth moved to try something, but the sight of Jeanne's light columns stopped him before he could do it. The speed of light was difficult to match, but thankfully Seth had just the answer:

"Hastega." he whispered, making sure to use the more advanced spell so that Tocsax would also benefit from the speed boost. With that, avoiding the light columns became much easier. But Ascot, or at least this thing that looked like him, didn't plan to let them off so easily. With a single spell, the speed from the Hastega was rendered null and void as gravitational forces held the Nobodies down and then lifted them up into a helpless position.

Ascot went on the attack, but still seemed to want to focus on Tocsax instead of Seth. Whelp, that would just be its downfall, "You'll regret ignoring me... Stopga!" even trapped by a Zero Gravity field, Seth could still use magic of his own, this one was the adanced Stop spell that would hopefully keep their opponents still long enough for the two Nobodies to get some kind of strategy going.

Seth had one idea, and encased himself and Tocsax within another sand dome. But at the same time, other sand domes also began to take shape, "Ever play the shell game?" Seth asked his teammate, "Use Corridors of Darkness to move between domes of sand and stay hidden. Think of it like a life-or-death version of the old shell game routine. When we do have to emerge, we may want to consider calling in our personal cavalries if you get my drift."

"Indeed," spoke Tocsax, before he drew out a data drive from his black robe. "We might also use this on the Holographic Ascot; this drive contains the conciousness of Data-Ascot, a computer program developed to seek out the records of the Old Keyblade Order. If we can upload this drive to Hologram!Ascot by jabbing it into his chest, Data-Ascot can possess him and give us another ally, at least temporarily." Tocsax didn't mention the fact that Data-Ascot had a capital-h Heart; that was irrelevant.

"Well, that still leaves Ms. Tall-Brunette-and-Beautiful for us to deal with. Of all the Magical Girls the Incubators could have dug up they pick the one who seems the biggest pain the arse. What do you say we give her some extra sparring partners to play with while we focus on Not-Ascot?" it wasn't the most brilliant or revolutionary plan in the world, but it could at least suit their current needs.

"Huddle-time over then, yes? The Stopga spell should be wearing off right about now..." with that Seth disappeared into a Corridor that would lead him to underneat one of the other domes. The one he chose was positioned at an equal dstance from both enemies while still facing their flanks, "Go big or go home."

Outside the dome, it suddenly burst apart, sending a volley of sand spikes right at Not-Ascot. Seth simultaneously willed a small battalion of Snipers around Jeanne's position and let them fire at will, "Hope this is enough coverage for you, Tocsax."

"It is!" Tocsax said as he opened up his own Corridor to behind Not-Ascot, then jabbed the data drive at the hologram, causing a bright flash of light.

Unauthorized intrusion detected - Source: Data-Ascot created by the Keyblade Order Remnants, the Incubators, their catlike bodies showing no emotion except a smile, Purge attempt: Failed.

The Ascot Hologram, his dead, unemotional eyes now replaced with a visible smirk, turned on the Incubators, calling a column of light upon yet another of their walkaways, while Jeanne tried to leap, parry, or otherwise avoid the Snipers' bolts, only to find herself getting hit anyway.

Tocsax, meanwhile, conjured up his own battalion of Samurai Nobodies, which began thier own wreckage of Incubator infrastructure.

Nevertheless, the Incubators were non-plussed, and instead said:

Scenario 2880 has come to fruition; launching countermeasures. And with that, a gigantic hole opened up in the sky, and a gigantic artifcial moon, constructed out of panes of light, would descend from it, brimming with crackles of electricity at its underside.

A museum piece from when we needed weapons against rival civilizations. This superweapon was the last to be 'shelved', a planet destroyer for purging entire civilizations. We have decided that you three individuals are a threat that needs to be dealt with with force this overwhelming, even if more of our infrastructure would be destroyed by this. In fact...

Several portals opened up, leading to Renovation, Chronos, Glory of France, Alternate World War II (where the Allies were finally winning), and various other worlds that were important to the group.

In fact, we may actually destroy the remnants of the Old Keyblade Order entirely, and thus remove those who would threaten to increase the flow of Entropy...

Seth almost smiled. Almost. Was he really this much of a threat that the Incubators felt the need to unleash a planet-busting superweapon just to beat him? It was almost flattering in a way. Then they had to go and ruin the fun by threatening a multitude of worlds, including their so-called allies from Chronos.

"Well, this certainly... escalated." said the Nobody with a chuckle, "You'll even turn your superweapon against Chronos? The people you supposedly brokered a deal with? Sheesh, and I thought I was the one with no feelings." Seth wasn't without his purpose, however, as he turned on the little communication bug that Drake left for him so that what he said next could be heard by Drake who would hopefully be able to forward it to their Fleet.

"So you're basically going to wipe out all these worlds, and all the people in them just because two humble Nobodies managed to piss you off?" Seth said with a shrug, then added, "Can't say I'm not flattered. But you should know, my employer is not going to be happy when he hears about this... which he should be right about nowish." Maybe, just maybe, the Emperor's fleet could muster up enough firepower to destroy this thing. Also, the message would naturally get passed along to the rest of the Team as well, signaling them that they should probably pick up the pace just a smidge and maybe try to come up with some kind plan to counteract this superweapon.

While Mai's thoughts were wandering towards something else, the emperor had suddenly began addressing her. "Did he read my mind?" Not that she minded it too much, since it gave her the answer she was looking for. Although the answer itself wasn't something she liked, she couldn't find it in herself to deny it outright either.

Soon after, she found herself in an unfamiliar building alongside her previous team members and V2.

It didn't take long for Ryteb to start giving orders, and for her to scratch the back of her head. She wasn't sure how she would go about preparing for the eventual encounter. She usually just winged her fights and very rarely did she strategize since all she fought against were Nobodies and Heartless for a good chunk of her battle experience. "I suppose I'll... prepare my mental state?", she said with a shrug.

V2's comment about their location caught her attention. "We're in Japan?" Although the names of the people mentioned earlier were indeed Japanese, this place looked too different from what she remembered as Japan. Everything looked so advanced here. Perhaps several decades in the future? Once everything in this world had settled down, the girl hoped that she could explore the area before they had to leave. It wasn't often that she could see a possible future for the place that she originated from.

"Kyubey has no emotions of his own, and does not send fools as heralds, nor people who I cannot sense as being 'Magical Girls'. But that does not mean you are not suspicious," Homura held her AK-47 tightly, before looking at Cheese.

"But that does not mean that you cannot be useful. So state your business."

Mac took a shakey breath. "We're here to-" He gasped.

Cheese also gasped but unlike Mac she almost looked happy. She could feel a familiar spindle of magic creep around them and snapped her head left and right trying to pinpoint where it was coming from. She then looked skyward certain it was there but unable to see anything.

"Cheese." Mac whimpered with a famiiar preassure in the back of his skull. "They're back."

Cheese was now ignoring Homura at this point with attention instead firmly set upon Mac. She couldn't feel the twinge of pain anymore.

"Don't fight them Mac." Cheese warned him with an air of excitement to her voice.

For just a second it looked like Mac was about to say thomething, about to angrily snap at her or scream. Instead, he became rigid, the plastic covers to his skull pulled themselves apart with giddy snaps and exposed the innner tubes and diodes to the world. The cord extending from the back extended and curled a protective paremter around Macs body, and finally the screen flickered into life.

"Cheese." Four green eyes stared from Macs screen. They held a finger up to silence her before she could speak. "Quiet. I don't know where you are but I cant hold this for long." The goblin King paused for a moment "The Heartless are becoming more aggressive in the Fae Realm and have begun to emerge in the Mundane also. Complete your mission as soon as possible."

And just like that it was over; the screen became blank and the casing reattatched itself to Macs skull. He slumped to the ground with a defeated moan and a swear. There was a tense silence between the pair of them before Cheese took the initiative.

"As Mac was saying before we were, um." Cheese ran a hand through her hair trying to ignore the thoughts running rampant in her head. "We need your help to save Madoka. She can help us save...a lot of people."

From the ground Mac swore once again. Neither of them bothered to answer their phones buzzing in their pockets.

Homura's gaze turned hostile.

"So it is as I thought; you may not have come from the Incubators, but you are interested in her power." Which to be fair, was the technical truth. "You want her to be saved now so that she becomes a Magical Girl later."

Her fingers began to press the trigger...

"No, no, no." Both Cheese and Mac said together.

Cheese moved, with another twinge of pain making her wince, to push the guns muzzle upward and away from her and Mac.

"We're here to stop that." Cheese blurted out. "She becomes a witch if she makes a deal. We know."

"Trust me." Mac leapt up from the ground but stayed where he was. "The pair of us know about crappy deals and contracts, we both want to stop another one being made."

Homura was still distrustful, but not so much that she would refuse a potential source of help if offered, and so, she would say:

"Come inside," opening the door wide and gesturing to them to come in, although her AK-47 would still be pointed at them.

Inside the room, they can find an ordinary table, and two curved minimalist leather seats, as well as three walls that had been modified with magic to act like a digital display, with pictures of witches, magical girls, and Walpurgisnacht shown on each 'window'. A diagram was also there for plans to destroy witches, steal mundane weapons, and plan interactions with Madoka and the other Magical Girls. It was clear that Homura believed in careful planning.

Looking around as they entered Cheese caught sight of the images of Walpurgisnacht, it's gigantic form looming malisciously high above ruined buildings, and she then realissed what the strange Magic energies she was feeling were. Her gut twisted in fear.

Mac slumped into one of the minimalist sofas and stayed very quite. Cheese could see he was still very rattled from The Goblin King taken control, he always was after each time. Although it was quite possible he was deep in thought about what The Goblin King had said, Cheese knew she was.

"So," Homura would ask, taking a seat and finally withdrawing her gun, "how do you two plan to help?"

"I'm not sure if we have much time to explain." Cheese had chosen to remain standing, with her arms folded across her chest. "The basic gist of it is Madoka is what's called a Princess of Heart."

"Meaning she's really pure and good and all that stuff." Mac muttured from his slumped position. "She might also have a keyblade, one of these things." He summond his in a flash of light. "So she's a pretty big deal to save the multiverse from the Heartless."

"She could also get rid of the Incubators if needed. We can explain the rest on the way though." Cheese huffed impatiently. "We also need to get a Grief Seed. Know of any witches nearby?"

This earned her a slight look from Mac, but he remained silent.

"I have a stash, actually," Homura said, bringing out a box of what seemed to be bony white nuts with a centre that emitted a small miasma of darkness. "As for getting rid of the Incubators...I am in."

"Oh" Cheese looked almost dissapointed in how easy it was to get hold of them.

Cheese moved towards the box to examinine the Grief seeds more closely. They all looked slightly different from one another, supposedly reflecting the personalities of what were once young girls. Cheese could almost hear them screaming in dispair. Deciding to pay as little attention to their screams as she could Cheese pulled out her own wooden Box of Tricks and started shovelling handfulls of the seeds into it. Homura had never specified how many she could take.

Seeing that Cheese was more engrossed in examining the strange artifacts Mac decided to continue.

"Fantastic, Welcome aboard." He withheld a joke about asking when her bedtime was and pulled out his phone. "I'll just give our team mates a call to pick us up and..." Mac paused to reread the text message. "The Incubators are planning to destroy the multiverse."

He exaggerated slightly as 'seven to nine worlds' may be easy to read but was a bit of a mouthful.

"What!?" Cheese snapped her attention first to Mac and then to Homura. "Do you know where Madoka would be at this time?"

"Right now, I was heading to rescue her, as she followed her and Sayaka's other friend, Hitomi Shizuki, into an abandoned factory where a Witch is trying to make people commit mass suicide. But due to this talk, I have to stop time in order to catch up." She would walk up to them, then.

"Grab my left hand; that will render you exempt from the time stop. Hopefully, we can rescue Madoka in time."

Putting her Box of Tricks back from wherw-ever it had come from Cheese stood up and took off her jecket to let her wings unfurl.

"If you tell me where to go I can fly us there." She took hold of Homuras hand as Mac took hers.

The pair instinctively tensed in preparation for Homuras magic.

Homura's shield turned counter-clockwise, and all movement except for Homura, Mac, and Cheese's stopped.

Now they can go.

Homuras magic felt...odd, at least it did to Cheese, as if they had been dipped into mud. She fought through it though and managed to get all three of them off the ground and above the low rooves of buildings. Following Homuras instructions, and a few quick lift of the legs to clear satalite ariels, they made it to the warehouse. Even Mac could feel a horrible stickiness hanging in the air as they landed outside.

"What is that smell?" Mac asked, but he already knew.

"A combination of various detergents and cleansers that, when mixed together in a closed space, turns to toxic gas," Homura said, ceasing the time stop. "Anyway, I'll rescue Madoka, you guys destroy the Witches' familiars."

Drake waited for the teleporter to work, but all he did was stand in the same room as the emperor. He was about to complain about the teleporter when Seth’s voice echoed in his ear. As he listened his demeanor turned from anger to cheer shock.

“Shit this isn’t good,” Drake said before he turned to the emperor and added, “looks like the enemy has a super weapon that can target multiple worlds. Seems they plan on destroying all worlds, even Chrono. The people they made a contract with. That’s not good, if Chrono finds out. Shit’s going to get ugly”

Drakes watch suddenly exploded with static as Jinx’s voice cut in and out. Drake raised his watch and said, “What was that Jinx? I didn’t catch that.”

“Found. Who. Contracted!” Jinx’s voice said as it cut in and out of static.

“Jinx, where are you? I can hardly hear you.” Drake said.

“Drake. Out. Its!” Jinx voice said before her voice broke through and she yelled, “Surge Guardians!” Drake’s face turned pale had his eyes widened.

“Shit! You have to teleport me there now! They have no idea what they’re walking into!” Drake roared.

At Mai’s, V2’s, and Ryteb location. @SMS@Gentlemanvaultboy@Ryteb Pymeroce

A young twelve year old girl skipped around a corner and saw Mai and V2. she wore a blue and white dress and a blood red bow was in her blond hair that was up into a ponytail. A warm smile broke on her face as she waved to the two and asked, “Do you want to play with me?”

“Who the hell are you talking to Alice?” a man asked. He looked about thirty and had short blond hair. He looked to be the same height as the young man. He had on black jeans with dog tags in each pant loop. He had a red hoodie that was unzipped and showed his green shirt underneath

Alice looked back at the man in the red hoodie and said, “Those two Mark. There’s a nice looking lady and robot.” Mark looked at Mai before looking at V2 and a Chester cat grin formed on his face.

“It’s been a while since I kicked the crap out of a tin can,” Mark said before he cracked the joints in his fingers and added, “Yo tin man, do you bleed oil or grease?”

“You don’t mind playing with me and teddy so you Mrs.?” Alice said warmly as the air next to her rippled like a stone being thrown in a pond. From the ripple came a six foot tall bear with porcupine spines o it’s back. It stood on its hind legs and roared just before Alice said warmly, “We need a new play mate to play mauling victim with teddy.” She looked up at the porcupine bear and her smile grew

"Guess I'll just take the table scraps," a young man said. He worse wore a white tank top and bleached blue jeans. he yawned and added, "Can we get on with this. I just want to go back and take a nap." the young man lifted his arm and from his hand. Seeped out silver liquid. it oozed out his skin before it took the shape of a sword and hardened. he yawned again and looked more annoyed then ready to fight

At Mac’s and Cheese’s location @Arty Fox

A man about twenty walked around looking for the location he was told to meet with his team. He sighed and rubbed the side of his head and cursed, “Damn it. I got lost again. This place really needs teleporters. At least with them I can get around easier.” The man said before he noticed Mac and Cheese. He wore a light purple striped shirt and tan pants

“Whoa dude. Digging the TV screen on your head. You remind me of Jukebox with that on,” the man said before he looked back at his blade that was strapped to his back and said, “What do you mean. I can never understand you when you’re like this.” The man then saw cheese and he sighed.

“I get it,” the man said before he pointed to cheese “hey girl…thing,” the man said. He saw they were in the middle of a battle but seemed to not care as he said, “When you get a chance. My brother what’s to talk with you”

He took out his blade and waited for them to respond. The blade seemed to twitch in anticipation as the young man said, "Never thought I'd see another tag team in battle."

At Taka location @ShadowVentus

A swarm of bat’s flew through the air before they swarmed at a single location before they began to form an elderly man in a black tuxedo with a red tie. A top his head was a top hat and he leaned on a cane that had a metal handle in the shape of a bats head. He seemed to chuckle and said, “My, my. How much younger must the target be before they realize killing children will only hurt them in the long run.” He shook his head before he shook his head and sighed, “I can see why that young one hates killing children.”

At Seth’s and Tocsax location @Double@Letter Bee

“Superweapon? Please child. You have no idea what Chrono has,” a female voice echoed as three doors appeared. Out of the first came a man had on all black and white: black coat that covered his white shirt underneath, black pants and black boots. On his face was a pure white mask that looked to be made out of steel. The mask had black tinted eye holes that hid his eyes.

From the second door a slender and stood five foot ten. She had on a white dress with a black trim. Her purple lipstick matched her purple hair. She took one look at Seth and Toscax before her forked tongue flickered from her mouth.

The final door opened and a man walked through it. he wore a black clock with a hockey mask strapped to the right side of the black cloaks belt. He had a shaven head and his right eye was ember while his left was auburn. Once all three had walked out of the doors, the doors fizzled and dissipated into white fog.

“This super weapon, is not our concern at this moment,” the man with the hockey mas said.

“I smell him,” the woman interjected as she sniffed the air and look towards Seth and her smile grew, “He’s been near him.” the woman then pointed to Seth as the man in the hockey mask nodded.

“Alright look, I’ll make this easy. You all know we’re here to kill you. So I’ll do you a favor: Hand over our brother and we’ll make this a quick and painless death.” The man in the white mask reached back and took his military shovel with a reinforced steel blade from his back.

"If the threat's as great as you think it is, I won't just teleport you, I'll teleport this entire fleet as well," Emperor Michael XIII Sideros answered as the Gummi Ships' FTL allowed them to arrive in the Incubators' dimension, and the immense fleet from Renovation, sighting the artificial moon that was crackling with unnatural lightning, prepared to blast it with weapons of mass destruction. Emperor Michael got up, summoning his Keyblade, taking a deep breath.

Ah, the Gummi Ship Fleet, the Incubators, in their small, feline-looking bodies said, as the planet-killing sphere began to crackle with more lighting, beginning to fire -

"Activate Planetary Stopza!" was the response of the Emperor, in a voice that echoed with desperation and power. The glowing artificial moon was suddenly engulfed in a ripple of distorted space, and the crackling energies halted, just as the lights and holograms in the Manisa League deactivated, except for emergency glow-in-the-dark strips filled with luminous algae, and one 4-D display showing what was occuring outside.

Emperor Michael XIII Sideros looked to be...drained, panting, sweating, even as Maria di Italia, the Empress, spoke:

"Planetary Stopza is one of the most powerful...abilities my husband's Keyblade grants him, but it drains his' and the fleet's energy reserves. This leaves me to teleport you to where Tocsax and Seth are." And with that, he held out her hands, and Drake would vanish, and reappear where Seth, Tocsax, and Data-Ascot were confronting the trio of 'Surge Guardians'. Tocsax would then say to the latter:

"If by 'brother' you mean Drake, we will never betray a loyal member of the team." Already, he was taking the measure of these formidable opponents, knowing that his arsenal of spells and techniques would mean nothing if he couldn't choose or release the right ones...
