I've just always found the hunting of Pokemon to be an integral part of the gaming experience, thought it would add a nice exciting unpredictable element. :)

I understand where you're coming from. I'm just concerned about the practicality of implementing, enforcing, and tracking those sort of transactions. On a completely text based post-to-play site, it seems like a huge challenge. Though, I'm all ears if you have a way to simplify it so that users easily understand and so that I don't have to spend extra time monitoring it.

@balthazar Would trainer be able to "gift" each other items, and would they be able to "sell" Pokemon to each other for either TP or items? Because realistically it could happen, but it doesn't in-game.

Yes to gifting items or selling them at low rates.

No to selling Pokemon. Trading Pokemon is okay though, obviously. They just have to be at the same tier.

Hey guys and gals!

I promised you that a new site is on the horizon, and that is still the case. I will be simplifying this RP thread first, then creating the more in-depth version of this RP on that new site. Again, both the new site and this RP thread will be intertwined, operating simultaneously.

What I can't promise anymore is a super speedy process. I have been promoted from part-time server/manager to full-time manager at work IRL. I've got a lot to focus on in the next week or two in order to make the most of this opportunity. I'll continue to work on this RP at a slower yet still steady pace.

Alright everyone!

Tommorow, November the 9th, marks sunrise within this RP. For those of us that are new, this is definitely one of the best days to post all month long. Each of your trainers will gain bonus trainer points, and three of their Pokemon will gain an extra level. If you haven't posted yet, or in a while, you'd be smart to do so!

I'm still steadily working on the opening OOC post.

@balthazar007 I quite like @dark light's system of putting the TP on her posts as it makes your job of keeping track of points easier. You can just tack on whatever points we miss, but what do you think?
