Maybe go for local/culture competitions unique to the place, I can definitely see swimming and sailing being a staple. A unique combination of both human and maybe some monster-girl related activities as well? You could also consider a separate category for them or an open competition.

Simple ones for children, then some strength ones like lifting weights/wrestling/pull ropes/etcetc.

Do what you think is interesting or fun.
