Yukari Yozakura

Yukari could only sit in sullen silence as she wiped away her tears and listened to Dulga and Kaida try to encourage her. Kaida made it clear that Jett was struggling against Yukari, though Yukari still couldn't find satisfaction from that since she was struggling against Jett. Granted Kaida also wasn't wrong that compared to everyone else, Jett was more skilled and experienced in fighting, and even then Yukari still gave him a run for his money. But she still just couldn't shake off the feeling that she could have done more. Still... Yukari could at least be happy to know it wasn't a total curbstomp. Even if that's how she felt it was. She turned towards Kaida after she had said her part butalso noticed Mina and Ruby coming in. Yukari could smell them from here. Kaida started to stammer and seem more reluctant since those two came in and it made Yukari wonder what was wrong. She reached out to touch Kaida's hand.

"You and me are in the same boat then, huh? We're both inexperienced but faced bad guys who were our exact weakness. I just... I just wished that I could've been better. Maybe figure out a trick or something clever to have snatched a win at the last moment." When Kaida talked about jett and Roy, Yukari looked sad. "I'll admit I... I let my emotions get the better of me that moment. I don't know why I did it I was just angry. Honestly Jett... I've never heard Jett act like that before. He always seemed so supportive and kind. Hearing him say that sort of thing to Roy after everything we've been through, it hurt me personally. I want to be able to go to him for support but if he's the type of person who'd say that sort of thing, it makes me afraid of... Of what he might say to me if I found myself in Roy's place." She sighed again and sunk into her seat, her body easily conforming to her seat. "Assuming that Jett isn't just being nice to me because I'm a girl. I already don't like people thinking I'm weak because I'm blind, knowing they're going easy on me just because I'm a girl is adding insult to injury."

Dulga on the other hand didn't pull her punches and said that Yukari was being pathetic. She wasn't sure if she should feel angry or just more sad, though to be fair Yukari wasn't really trying to make herself feel better either. Dulga certainly doesn't seem the type to want to lie just to make anyone feel better about themselves. Though Yukari didn't agree that she was trying to blame anyone.

"I'm not blaming anyone or anything, Tatara-san. I... I know I could've done better. That I could have been more active and maybe I could have even won if I had just worked harder. I don't blame anyone else for being able to do more than me... Just myself." What Dulga said next confused Yukari, but at the same time gave her a bit of hope. Yukari did have a lot of self-doubt and there were many times she felt completely helpless. She hated this, hated that part of her. Everyone always gave her encouragement which was nice, but it only made it hurt more when Yukari notices her failures and people just to cover it up. It felt dishonest. But Dulga was willing to look at her faults as long as Yukari wanted to improve. Yukari almost felt like crying again but stopped herself. "Of course I want to be better. I just... I just can't do it by myself. I don't have that sort of talent. I'm not like some people who could just isolate themselves in a dojo for years and grow stronger by constantly training. Practicing the same thing over and over again, working out every single detail until it becomes a science... I came to Komei to get away from that."

What came next surprised Yukari. Dulga wanted Yukari and Kaida to come with Dulga to her home in Hokkaido. But Yukari had her doubts. "Hokkaido, isn't that towards the north? It's very cold up there... I'm not really good in the cold. And it sounds really shounen." But then the girl cracked a smile. While it seemed stereotypical, it wasn't a bad idea. Just a little bit silly. But if Dulga knew what she was doing, and if everyone worked hard, and maybe they had a teacher or two to make sure things don't take a turn for the worse, it was an idea that Yukari could get behind. "Well I think it's a good idea. But are we really going to take everyone? How would we get there? I don't know any trains that go that far north."

Training Rooms > Infirmary?

"No one else got hurt." Kaida muttered to Kenichi as she crossed her arms under her cloak. He could tell by her face that she really wasn't pleased--he had seen her hanging out with both Roy and Jett at different times, and wondered if maybe there was something going on there. Two guys butting heads over a girl for some reason?

The girl urged Yukari and Dulga to come along as they left. Kenichi barely heard her parting whisper towards the two boys.

"Right. Everyone out. Let Ms. Mako handle this. Go back...wherever." Dulga looked irritated too, but Kenichi sometimes wondered if grim and moody was the multi-armed girl's default state. The sheep-girl left too, needing little persuasion from anyone else. Kenichi had seen her around, but he didn't think she was part of the Hero course. Since he had made such an effort so far to remember everyone's names she stood out at the moment as the only person he didn't know. But his self-appointed task was done, and he nodded back at Mako as he followed the girls out.

"How chivalrous of you." the teacher said. As he closed the Training Room doors behind him Kenichi's fist clenched and his nose wrinkled.

Kaida, Yukari, and Dulga were already gone. From how forceful their strides were it seemed like they were really pissed. Kenichi scratched the back of his head. He had really been out of the loop lately. He started towards the sheep girl, to ask her if she was alright. He saw her pause, as if she were thinking or waiting for something, but after mere seconds she made some kind of decision and headed towards the infirmary. But as Kenichi caught up to her, he didn't think she looked injured.

"Ah, s'cuse me a minute!" he said as he caught up, then matched pace with her. He stayed to one side, so as not to seem too pushy. "You okay? The others said they were fine, but I really got no idea what all that was about." He folded both hands behind his head and walked with a relaxed posture. He didn't want to seem like too much of a gossip, but... "What about you? Didja see what happened?"

Takeshi smiled as Reina called him Take-kun. He felt a warm sensation in his chest. He really never had anyone call him by a nickname other than his little sister. He looked to her, noticing her red cheeks...probably just as red as his. But he didn’t care. He nodded once as he took the hint. He scratched his left cheek and cleared his throat. He was horrible in social cues.

He lost track of his thoughts for a moment when she pressed her arm into his more. But his eyes followed her other hand as she reached into the bag. He then noticed for the first time the multiple sets of chopsticks in the bag. For the fact it was ‘only for Reina’ in his sisters words. The clear number of them and the fact she said she was…’busy’ it was clear. He could hear his sisters ‘evil laughter’ in the back of his head. It was clear this was a set up.

He looked at Reina as she was opening her chopsticks with one hand. A clear glow about the girl. Something he was slowly starting to see more and more… night and day in comparison to their first meeting. It only made him smile a little more. She then lifted a roll towards him. He pulled his head back just a little, surprised at the action. Suddenly he was really nervous as she spoke about how he protected Michiko and as well as her… even kidding that she didn’t need it as much. But the fact that sharing it with him is what she wanted.

He couldn’t think of a word to say, Never being in this situation before he didn’t know what to do or act. His eyes looked at the roll that slowly came towards him. It would be rude to not take it… but is...isn’t this what couples did? Did this mean they were a couple now? When did that happen….he never even had…

He opened his mouth slightly, he could swear his face was beat red at the moment as it was so hot...well...the entire room felt hot. His eyes glanced over to her as she started saying “ahh”. Then in an instant, she pulled back and grinned, saying the first bite was hers. He felt his own shoulders drop from relief of some unknown tension in the first place. He chuckled as he shifted.

He didn’t want to lose the contact he was making with her arm, and reached up to the table with just enough reach to grab the chopsticks without really moving his arm. The shifting of his weight helped with it as well as he nudged her shoulder playfully with his.

”Yes, she does very often. Every day in fact. Sort of an unwritten rule I shall never step in the kitchen. We don't ever speak of the time I tried cooking once. It was so bad...We wouldn't wish it be served to even…. He hesitated as he was going to say their worst enemy...but with it being his family...and so fresh. He winced slightly at the thought. But he quickly recovered.

“She’s always loved cooking and baking, and usually is doing that in her spare time outside of school. He started to say, slightly grateful for the change in topic. He ripped open the chopsticks quickly with his mouth. “I keep on telling her she should become a chef, but she doesn’t think she’s that good. Perhaps her hearing it from you might help.” He said as he glanced at her with a grin. “A sure way to get more free food as well.”

He reached out and picked one up for himself. Savoring the taste as he ate it, But it didn’t last long as his eyes glanced over to Reina once again, as if they were being pulled towards her smile.

He felt some movement in his stomach. As if the sushi was jumping around...until he realized it was just butterflies as he had a sudden thought come to his head. He turned even more red as he looked down to the table for a moment. “I-I’ve noticed a difference at school. He said in a low and semi serious tone. I haven’t been able to relax and felt that something was missing.”

He glanced at his left stub and quickly added while lifting it. “Not this…” he said with a twitch of a smile. He then looked to her and continued, “But I think I finally realize what it is.” He felt his heart flip as he hesitated for a moment. Looking Reina in the eye. That constant…. Pull.... of your smile.

"I think I can walk now. But it still feels jarring and sometimes hurt. I think I should stay here for a while."

Kiwi's treatment of bug, believe it or not, despite its frightening and disgusting sense when a thousand feet were crawling all over you, over you and even inside you, it was an extremely effective treatment, at least for minor and semi-serious injuries. His injuries, from almost shutting down his ability to walk, he was doubled up to the point where it just slightly hurt. Seriously, Dulga's attack must have had damaged his skeletal structure in order to have that degree of damage. He had to be sure to pay attention to her the next time he had a spar with her. But still, he did seem to strike an impression on her or something. The certain care she gave him, and the way she began talking to him after he had been beaten up pretty much completely. It was a way to go. She was still hard to understand, and to accept, but still that was a step forward.

But then all of a sudden, he was asked to be a pillow. Really. No joke. She didn't look like she was joking. But seriously? Why not a real pillow? They're in the infirmary to begin with. Why would sleeping on his lap be more calming than on a pillow?

"Uh...I don't. That's up to you if you're feeling-"

Oh shit...Was she crying? She was crying? What should he do? What should he do? What should he do?

"Calm down...Don't look at me like that. You can do it on my lap, ok?"

She probably didn't mean anything beyond just sleeping. She did tend to sleep, like a lot more than a normal person. He hoped other people, especially Hitomi or other girls wouldn't get the wrong idea.

Mia groaned as she walked into the main building holding the door open as her little sister’s maneuvered her wheelchair through.”Why must we sign in EVERY time we visit? Can’t we just get badges cause we’re family? I mean honestly coming all the way over here, Then over to the dorms every time is annoying.

Her little sister smiled, “Because badges can be stolen…”

Mia’s shoulders dropped. Seeing the logic in that simple statement. Annoyed that her younger sister was smart and quick enough to come to that conclusion only grumbled softly ”Smart alec…

Her other little sister walked in behind the first, holding a plastic bag in her right hand. Maybe if you didn’t walk in 3 inch heels EVERYwhere it wouldn’t be as annoying?” She said with a grin.

”Nnnnope. Still would be just as annoying. When you start actually liking boy’s you will understand Emma.” Mia replied as she reached out and patted Emma on the head with a grin.

” I like boys… I just don’t see how that means I need to wear heels all the time. So uncomfortable.” She snipped, as she slapped Mia’s hand away.

”OOOOO you do, do you?” Mia grinned as she wrapped an arm around Emma’s shoulder as they walked towards the counter, following Ava. She leaned down and close to her ”So who’s the lucky boy?”

” No on-” She started.

“Haruto” Ava said looking over her left shoulder for a moment with a grin.

”AVA!” Emma hissed.

HAAAAAAAAAAArrrruuuutooo huh? Mia said slowly for a moment. Suddenly the name clicked a memory in her head. ”Wait a minute Haruto our next door neighbor Haruto?”

Y- Ava started to say, quickly stopped by a chop to the top of her head from Emma.

”NO FROM SCHOOL” She quickly added, blushing as she did.

Mia narrowed her eyes with a smile on her face. She then reached up with her other hand and squeezed her cheek. “Awww your first crush. You’re all grown up now.” She said while faking a sniff as if she was starting to cry.

As Emma tried to pry herself away from her older sister, Ava pulled up to the desk and looked around. No one was there… Were they supposed to just sign a sheet or something?

"Nobody else got hurt in the fight between Jett and Roy, if that's what you're asking. I'm going to the infirmary because Acion took some nasty hits sparring with Dulga just before the fight started and I want to make sure he's okay. What happened as far as can tell is that Jett and Roy started arguing. They were arguing about pretty much nothing, but very aggressively. I think they both just wanted a scrap. Then they started fighting, and it was quite brutal. They were actually trying to really hurt each other, so I went to get a teacher. When I came back, Roy had a light arrow pointed at Jett's heart and the girls were stepping in between them to break the fight up."

The two of them reached the infirmary just in time to see Tomoe resting on Action's lap. Even though Hitomi knew Tomoe well enough to know this was just her thing, and even though Acion looked very uncomfortable about it, Hitomi could feel a pang of jealousy. Actually pang was far too weak a word. 'Knife to the chest and twist' of jealously. Hitomi cleared her throat, angrier than she meant to. Luckily she could reel herself in when it came time to speak, even if it was taking her obvious effort to keep her voice in check that she was almost speaking through gritted teeth. She hadn't crossed the line in the sand with her roommate's crush, but Tomoe had certainly stepped on it.

"Tomoe, we had a conversation about this. Get off him."

Mako looked out of the one-way glass behind the front desk, and not only surprised to see who it was, but once again couldn't get over how much Mia Haven looked like her mother back in the day. She slipped her hip flask back into her jacket and wiped her mouth, before emerging from the door that connected the secretary's office to the front desk.

"So sorry if I kept you waiting!" she chimed in her trademark saccharine voice, her closed eyes and her constant smile. "if it isn't all three Haven sisters? What brings you here today? If you're looking for your brother, you'll find him in the training room unless he left. When you see him, ask him what he did today." Mako opened her eyes to look into Mia's, and she'd see a mischievous twinkle in them.

Roy Kusayanagi

Roy stood there quietly nibbling on his bottom lip as Jett continued with his argument, claiming that Roy didn't understand what he had to go through which is both true and false in both of their defenses. Jett had his full attention, so much so that he barely picked up on what Ms.Mako had said before she left, Roy pretty much tuned her out completely as he only picked up on key words such as them not understanding and detention. For the most part Roy ignored Ms.Mako almost entirely, yeah it was true that Roy hasn’t been through the exact same things as Jett, even so Roy could still relate to what he had been through more than Jett knew about. He was going to retaliate back at him just as strong but after seeing the redness in the boys eyes he settled for an inside voice.

"Yeah, I do understand but it's the sad reality that we have no power over, its...its frustrating. Yeah my leg is functional, my quirk functional, and I am at Komei Academy in the hero course right now chasing my dreams. 7 years ago I wouldn't have been able to say the same words, a year ago I wouldn't have been able to say the same words. My quirk was my biggest enemy, yeah I can use it or it may seem like I am in control but that's not true at all."

Roy bent down and rolled up his pants sleeve on his left leg revealing the limb that was tightly wrapped in bandages, the boy gently unwrapped the bandage covering his leg. Underneath the bandages, Roy revealed a nasty burn scar that went up the length of his leg. The aftermath of the burn left a rather clear discoloration in his skin as the afflicted area was vibrant shade of pink as opposed to the rest of the boys slightly tanned skin.

"This is just one of many scars I received from that encounter with the villains, the irony behind this is that I inflicted a lot of these scars onto myself. I put everything on the line to just protect the ones that I care about, I understand exactly what you mean." Roy re-wrapped the bandages back around his leg and rolled his pants down before standing up once more.

"Even so life doesn't stop and you can't run away from your problems, you're putting on a front as if nothing is wrong isn’t going to last forever. Acting as if there is nothing wrong isn't going to solve your problems. If you’re injured, if you’re quirk isn’t working then get some medical assistance, as you are now you’re just a liability, you’re fucking pathetic. When I aimed that arrow at you it seemed as if you were ready to give up, what if i actually fired it off?! Would you have just sat there done the same if you were in the villain attack?! I get that you're trying to be a man, but being a man doesn't mean blatantly ignoring all your problems!”

Roy found himself shouting once more, emotions were clearly overflowing right now between the two. His fists were even balled once again, he glared hard at Jett with eyes full of disappointment. He was questioning why he even fought him in the first place now, it was a complete waste of time. What the fuck does she see in you? he thought to himself as he wiped dry blood off his cheek and chin. Roy was pretty much finished with Jett, the blonde picked his hoodie up off the floor but before he left he had to make one thing clear.

“I just want you to know that just because I didn’t get into the hero course through the traditional route doesn’t mean you have the right to belittle me. I’m may have started at the bottom, I may be the weakest in class, I may be on thin ice right now but when it’s all said and done, I am going to be number 1! I’m not afraid of you, I’m not afraid of Amane, I’m not afraid of Dulga, and I’m not afraid of Mina. I’ll crush anyone who challenges me.” His words were pretty intense but these were his honest feelings, if Roy wasn’t going to give it his all against his competition then he doesn’t deserve to stand at the top.

“Keep that in mind when we cross paths next, I’m letting that arrow fly, quirkless or not.”

Reina Mori

Reina gave a laugh at the vague mention of Takeshi's awful cooking, covering her mouth as she was mid-bite. She smiled back at the boy as he continued talking about his sister--being a single child herself, she didn't have any firsthand experience to reference, but he certainly came off as a good brother, and she imagined she would act similarly as an elder sibling.

"Mhm," she sounded with a nod, her hand covering her mouth again while she swallowed her food. "I think I'll mention it to her when I get the chance, then."

The girl continued eating happily, finding the brief pause in the conversation to be... warm? It certainly didn't make her feel uncomfortable as such lulls tended to--like she had to scramble to say something to not be a waste of time to be around. With Takeshi, the quiet moments felt nice, and she never struggled to find words to say.

This time though, it was him breaking the moment of silence. Reina paused, glancing at his left arm at the same time he did--followed immediately by her face quickly beginning to burn up that that was the first thing she thought of. It was kind of difficult for it not to be of course, but she wasn't quite sure how to deal with it. Takeshi was still Takeshi, so she had just acted more or less the same. Now that her attention had been brought to his missing arm, she was feeling flustered...

But only for a half second. Because not a moment later, Takeshi cracked a small joke about his arm. Reina paused before giving him a quick smirk. It faded quickly as Takeshi continued, the boy looking rather seriously into her eyes. The girl felt her face blush again lightly as he finished, taken by surprise at his words, and how close they were to each other--of course, that was her own doing, but just now something had become real.

She had been acting kind of flirty for sure, humouring herself and her feelings. Suddenly though, the voice that had been eating away at her thoughts for years resurfaced. Its appearances were becoming fewer and farther between, but right now, it had come back with a vengeance.

There was no way Takeshi was actually interested in her. She was gloomy and depressed, and just awful to be around. To make things worse, she had been finding ways to spend time with him as much as she dared to--if anything, that made her an annoyance. Neither boys nor girls before Komei had ever even wanted to approach her. Shoko had helped with that, but the root of the problem was Reina herself. A shut-in with a terrible personality, and a quirk that had made her a murderer.

She was a monster. Shoko and others had told her again and again, but Reina knew before that.

Maybe she'd somehow fooled Takeshi into feeling something for her. Hell, she had been fooling herself lately that she was maybe worth something--that she could really change--

The thoughts came to a halt as abruptly as they had begun upon the girl noticing her quirk was pulling rather strongly now, pressing Takeshi's body into hers and bringing their faces closer together. Instead of those tainting thoughts, her mind was now completely occupied by other things as she felt her face burn red. The table and sushi had been pulled closer to her as well, and the sheets and pillow on the bed had been displaced.

"I... do smile a lot around y-you, huh?..." she managed to squeak, showing the boy another smile--this one embarrassed--as she weakened the pull of her quirk, though made a point to keep it pulling gently.

Reina's eyes glanced away but she kept the rest of her body facing slightly towards him. "O-Obviously staying in a hospital means I'm missing a lot of things..." she started. "... A-And you're one of those things. Your smile is included in that too, I guess."

She glanced back towards him out of the corner of her eyes, acutely aware of the colour of her cheeks though doing her best to pay it no mind at the moment. "So I'm glad you came to visit me..." she said with a faint, sheepish smile.

Tomoe Kishitmoto

After humiliatingly asking her winged friend if she could sleep on his lap he agreed with the idea. Not because he necessarily wanted too but because the pink haired girl was about to cry her eyes out if she was declined too.

He didn't seem all too comfortable with it yet still let her do it out of spite. Tomoe softly gulped as she gave the boy a quick bow as to thank him and climbed onto the bed after removing her shoes. Without a word she formed into a small ball by his leg and placed her head onto his thighs. They weren't as soft as expected but it would suffice.

She gazed around her for a minute before closing her eyes attempting to sleep. She squeezed her eyes closed even harder but she couldn't sleep just yet. Her arms squeezed softly around Acion his leg as her eyes teared a little. She still wasn't done with crying after all. Roy and Jett would probably be mad at her, right? Something like that couldn't be forgiven so easily. Tomoe softly weeped before turning silent. She was finally asleep having cried onto most of Acion his pants.

"Thank you."

Only a short few minutes later she was awoken by an angry growl from Hitomi. Tomoe sleepingly awoke from her slumber. She poked her head up from Acion his lap seeming quite drowsy. Tomoe rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she gazed towards the sheep.

"Oh, good-mowniwn Hi-chawn, what do you mean?"

Hitomi looked quite angry, wait where did she fall asleep anyhow. Tomoe gazed around her and to the place she was sleeping. Legs. They belonged to someone. Tomoe let out a short comedic shreek as she noticed that she had fallen asleep on Acion. Oh right, without thinking it through she might have done that. Tomoe was already next to the bed bowing furiously before anyone else could talk. Her face completely red from embarrassment.

"S-sorry Hi-chan, a-kun, I didn't feel quite all right after-. Oh right, after that..."

Tomoe turned quite for a second as her gaze turned towards the ground in resentment.

"I should probably be off now. S-see you later, right."

Like it was nothing Tomoe left without any further reaction from her. She played it cool by flashing a smile towards the two upon leaving.

Nia had her arms pushed up against her body as she had her arms wrapped around her body attempting to keep the smell from leaving her body. This was so emberassing, Donny was smelling it as well! Nia softly sobbed having thought about the outcome from all of this. She wanted to dissapear from the earth right about now.

However, Donny spoke up. Nia gazed up at the boy in surprise. What did he say. To cook for her? Didn't he notice the bad smell? Nia kept her eyes attuned to his glasses for a few seconds in dumfound manner before giving the boy a small nod of the head. He was too nice to her. Nia watched the boy gather the fruits as she slowly let go of herself making the smell around her even sweeter. It did not matter. A blush of embarrassment covered her face as she slowly stood onto her legs. Was this normal? She didn't know.

The sudden realisation that she would be going with him to his own place made her nervous and excited. She had to look the part right now! Upon seeing her dirt knees and hands made her a tad stressed however as she quickly came to clean them off at a nearby water tap. Nia still in full surprise loomed up at him as he had gathered what he needed. She gave him a sweet embarrassed smile as she looked into his glasses.

"T-thank you D-Donny, I would l-love to cook with y-you!"

"Nobody else got hurt in the fight between Jett and Roy, if that's what you're asking. I'm going to the infirmary because Acion took some nasty hits sparring with Dulga just before the fight started and I want to make sure he's okay." Oh well okay then. Was it just him or did Sheep Girl seem kind of...snappish? "What happened as far as can tell is that Jett and Roy started arguing.

"I mean...can ya really call it 'pretty much nothing' if you don't know what they were arguin' about?" Kenichi tried to point out. "They've always seemed like bros up til now so I don't think they'd literally try to kill one another over nothing. Wanting to hurt somebody's different from just wanting a scrap." But then they arrived at the infirmary and opened the door on an...unexpected sight. Kenichi could have sworn he felt some static coming off that wool as he glanced at the sheep girl. She cleared her throat, sounding fairly ticked off but also somewhat hesitant. She was almost speaking through gritted teeth, but her strained expression showed she was trying to keep something under wraps. Kenichi had no idea what was going on and was starting to wonder if he should get out...

"Tomoe, we had a conversation about this. Get off him." Tomoe sleepingly awoke from her slumber. She poked her head up from Acion his lap seeming quite drowsy. Tomoe rubbed the sleep out of her eyes as she gazed towards the sheep.

"Oh, good-mowniwn Hi-chawn, what do you mean?"

Kenichi had noticed that Tomoe pretty much slept all the time. Through class, through lunch, through that one day in Arsenal's Hero Gear class when somebody set off a dummy bomb by accident. He knew her Quirk produced a sort of copy of her while she was asleep, but he didn't know if it was some kind of astral projection or if she actually HAD to be asleep to provide energy for the extra body, or maybe to control it.

Tomoe let out a short comedic shreek as she noticed that she had fallen asleep on Acion. But...how did one not notice where they were laying their head down at? Tomoe was already next to the bed bowing furiously before anyone else could talk. Her face completely red from embarrassment.

"S-sorry Hi-chan, a-kun, I didn't feel quite all right after-. Oh right, after that..." Tomoe turned quite for a second as her gaze turned towards the ground. "I should probably be off now. S-see you later, right." Like it was nothing Tomoe left without any further reaction from her. She flashed a smile towards the two upon leaving, but Kenichi could tell it was half-hearted and forced.

"So uh, I guess I did my thing so I'mma skidaddle too..." Kenichi said, awkwardly edging towards the door. "Nice to meet you, uh, Hi-chan? Sorry, never caught your name. I'm Yoshida Kenichi, by the way. Uh, get better soon, Acion-kun." If the girl introduced herself, he would nod and then wave farewell. Either way, he got out of there as fast as the moment would allow.

Once outside, however, he quickly caught up with Tomoe.

"Yo, uh, Kishimoto-chan? You okay?" the bluette asked the pinkette as he caught up to her. "Sorry I don't mean to pry or nothin', but it feels like there's all this like...tension going around, ya know? First I walk in on Jett and Roy about to "Hisatsu" each other, and now it looks like Dulga piledrived Acion or something, and you just kinda seemed like somethin' was botherin' ya. This school needs some counselors or somethin', amIright?"

Kaida nodded as Yukari answered her. It was true she never saw jett act like that before as well, but as she said before they all were dealing with hardships differently...perhaps it was the same for Roy and Jett. Despite hating what they did, she wouldn't allow that single instance define who they were...if she didn’t, how could she ever allow herself to forgive herself from when… She shook her head to get rid of the horrid memory. “We all say, or do things that we will regret. A single action that we do out of character...It doesn’t change who are inside…” she said as she placed a hand on her own chest. Nodding as if to reaffirm to herself that she wasn't a monster.

"I'm sure he doesn't just support you or is nice to you because you are a girl...He doesn't get along with Momoru...or Dulga. she said glancing at Dulga with a smirk. Not that Dulga helpped in that manner, always wanting to toss Jett out a window whenever he came up and spoke to Kaida. He would act nice, always hinting to something, like a inside joke about dancing or something. She didn't get it. But it always ruffled Dulga's feathers.

Kaida looked to dulga as she then spoke some harsh words, her eyes wide but words were caught in her throat. She didn’t think that was what Yukari needed to hear...though she understood why she was saying it like that.

She looked down and listened silently to them for a moment until Dulga brought up the idea of going to her home. She perked up, but then realized something. It had to be cold up there… Yukari reaffirmed this. Groaning as she heard this she pulled her legs up to her chest, her heels catching the edge of the chair she was in as she wrapped her warm cloak around her. Allowing the cowl to fall even farther over her face as she pressed her nose to her knees. Shivering at the thought.

“I-I wanna go...But...but its coooooooooold up there… I don’t know if I could handle it.” She rubbed her burned arms gently. She looked to Yukari, realizing that her quirk made her weak to cold as well. Funny how two different quirks had the sameish effect on them.

She really liked the idea though, going to see where dulga grew up...maybe not the training part. But her with her friends...her cheeks warmed up at the thought. She never done that before.

The walk to the hospital was fortunately uneventful. Mamoru took her bike to make it easier to get there, and brought a watermelon and a fruit knife to cut it. As she rode towards the hospital she saw a few places blocked off by police tape with cops and local heroes investigating the scene. It made Mamoru wonder if these were the places where the others got attacked. Thinking about them made Mamoru start to think again. Thinking about herself and what she’s done for herself so far, as well as for others. But before she could dwell on it she arrived to the hospital. Parking her bike nearby Mamoru walked in with her watermelon and went up to the receptionist.

”Hello! I’m here to visit Reina Mori, is this a good time?”

After filling out a visitor’s form as well as showing that she was indeed Mamoru Akasha from Komei Academy, Mamoru would be escorted to Reina’s room by one of the hospital staff. Security reasons of course; as Reina was still wounded from her villain encounter, the hospital had to make sure that whoever visited her were legitimate friends and family. Once Mamoru arrived to the door she knocked once. ”Reinbow? Are you awake? I got a watermelon!”

Donny could only give Nia a quick but eager nod as he lead her back to his dormitory, since most of his ingredients were there. Though as he lead Nia back he was worried about something; he’s never used such strange ingredients before. While he might be humble about his cooking, it wasn’t a skill he was born with or had a talent for. It was just something he pursued when he was homeschooled, as a means to feel useful and literally feed his own broken emotional state at the time. Funnily enough if this was a cooking anime he would have been one of those characters who incidentally been cooking since they were a child; in Donny’s case since he was seven years old. Everything he knew and could do was earned from years and years of constant practice and pursuit of perfection.

And yet he knew he had his limits too. He could replicate a dish down like a science, but he wasn’t so good at making something new. Sure he had been inspired to mix and match before, but that’s only after witnessing and tasting the food himself. He took other people’s ideas and made it his own. But he could never turkey make something of his own. That’s why Nia’s fruit scared him; he’s never heard of tomatoes that had texture like apples or mangos with the taste of melons. This was no an unexplored. Innovated and unknown. While it might seem small and insignificant for most people, for Donny he was exploring a new frontier.

Or at least that’s how he’s hyping himself up. What he should be more concerned with is what he’s going to cook with tomatoes and mango.

Fruit/Vegan dishes weren’t really his thing. He really didn’t have any idea how to make Nia’s fruit stand out on their own without simple making them into a condiment it mere additive to a dish. He needed to think of a way to make them into the main ingredient. One thing for certain, Donny needed to make two dishes. Even if these fruits were different from your average tomatoes and mango, he couldn’t think of a way to incorporate both into a dish. But this was good for Donny; break down the ingredients I to two separate problems with two different solutions rather than trying to solve them all at once. He should make a note of that for his actual hero career too.

Once Donny arrives into his kitchen he seemed much more confident and far less meek. He went over to the sink to wash his hands and arms. ”Nia-San, wash up here if you’d please. There should be some aprons in that closet over there.” Donny pointed over to a supply closet which had aprons, hair nets, vrooms, and cleaning supplies. Donny’s own supplies were in a small locker he kept near the pantry. He retrieved his apron and headband, as well as a box of cooking knives. A new gift from his grandfather. Today he’ll christen them with a new meal with new ingredients.

As he geared up Donny thought about what to make with the tomatoes. They tasted like apples, sweet and slightly sour, but had a tomato’s texture which was far more soft and juicy. Plus these tomatoes had a distinctive lack of the bitter-savory of most tomatoes he’s had, so using these as a sauce would garner a more sweet taste than that of Ketchup. So while not impossible to use, it did limit his options. That is, until he looked through his freezer.

”Ah of course! Pizza!”

After he had been discharged from the hospital Donny had gone to an international bizarre to do some shopping. Originally he was just there to pick up cheese, but wanted to try and make pizza after seeing it made fresh. Granted he lacked the skill for the fancy dough throwing, and certainly didn’t have the two hours for the dough to fully bake. But he did buy a freshly made frozen pizza dough, so once that was defrosted he could conceivably make a pizza in a much more manageable forty minutes or so.

So he’ll make the tomato’s into a marinara sauce. Admittedly, he had no idea how it’ll turn out. He’s made marinara sauce before, sweet ones too, but this would be a whole different beast. As he gathered the ingredients Donny then remembered that Nia was here and that she should do something to help too. Fortunately Donny had just the thing as he took out a huge block of mozzarella cheese, a knife, and a cheese grater.

”Nia-San, could you grate me about a pound of cheese?” Remembering that he was in Japan and not America, Donny took out his cellphone to do some quick recalculating. ”Or um… Half a kilogram of cheese. Please.” while Nia was working on that Donny went to defrost the pizza dough. A quick way he learned to do it without geat was to place the dough, while still wrapped, in a bowl of mildly cold water. As the water warms up to room temperature so will the dough. Not instant, but cooking requires patience. Once the dough was defrosted and the oven was preheating, Donny looked towards the tomatoes and the ingredients for his sauce.

”Lets get cooking.”

Roy Kusayanagi

Jett looked to Mako as she left, gritting this teeth as she told them they had detention not together. Ignoring roy as he began to speak again, He continued to clean up the stuff that Roy threw him into. He was going to just let it drop, no matter what he said. But the fact he called him pathetic, that he was stupid for ignoring his problems and not trying to fix it and giving up. He picked up his sweatshirt continued to say that Jett couldn’t belittle him that he worked

He growled, looking at Roy, his voice low but clearly angered. “I’m not running from my problems. I’ve been working through it. You think I’m stupid enough to not get medical attention? I’ve gone to the doctors, I’ve had my Aunt try to heal me. Used every trick in the goddamn book my mother had when she had problems with it.” He jammed some of the equipment onto the rack he set back up.

“I will continue to try, and if it NEVER comes back Ill continue to become a hero. I was trying to knock some sense into your head for trying to shoot a fellow student in a fucking simple argument. Apparently it didn’t sink in. Ill belittle you as long as you try to belittle me. Just because my family is rich and famous, or that my grandfather works here, doesn't give YOU the right to belittle my efforts and my hard work.

Roy didn’t have much to say about Jett’s efforts towards gaining his quirk back, to be honest he was pretty relieved that the guy was taking action. At the end of the day Roy truly didn’t wish any bad on anyone. The boy just simply continued on his way, that was until Jett made a comment that stopped him in his tracks. Saying that he was intentionally trying to harm another student, which wasn’t entirely true.

“The only student that I was attacking was you, I fired those bullets at you but that was after everyone had cleared out from the bleachers.”

“I wasn’t talking about anyone else, I was talking about me. You aimed it at me a fellow student. Just because I was the focus of your argument, doesn’t make it any better.” Jett quickly added.

“So you expected me to pull my punches? Why should I? You weren’t pulling any of your punches, the first punch you threw was intended to knock me out was it not?” He replied

Jett raised his hands and moved them like a scale. ”Knock out punch… He looked from his left hand as he shook it to his right. ”Shooting an Arrow/bullets…” He said as he shook his right. He then looked to Roy. Tell me something, IF you had hit me with those, would have it JUST knocked me out?”

This argument was beginning to display the age of the two as they went back and forth, neither of them willing to give each other an inch. “Yeah, other then bruises and burns, did any of those bullets bore holes in the bleachers? They would have dealt about the same amount of damage as rubber bullets. As for the arrow, that would’ve mildy burned you.” He said a bit shakily, Roy took a moment to breath, “I was going to fire it at you until you didnt make any attempt to protect yourself…” he took a moment to look down at his hands, slowly opening them and closing them.

“Riight..” Jett said, He didn’t look like he was going to back down. Jett looked back to the rack. “Just get the hell out of here. “ He said, getting even more pissed off.

Roy smirked at Jett as he realized something, the blonde placed both hands in his sweatpants pockets. All the dots connected when he put everything, the way Jett had reacted in the hospital as well as what happened today.

“One more thing though, tell me something. Before I passed out when we were fighting the shadow clan, there was someone who came to save us wearing your costume. Was that honestly you?”

Jett didn’t look at Roy, Not sure why he was bringing that up. “That was my Father.” He said matter of factly. Moving towards the rack he threw earlier.

Roy just nodded his head slowly, he had a good feeling about that at the hospital but there was no evidence to go off of. “I had a slight feeling, if you really had super strength then it would have been made apparent, and now that you told me your quirk doesn’t work I got all the evidence that I needed.” He said leaning against the door, “so you pretty much lied?”

He looked to Roy, “I didn’t say anything. I felt telling her at that moment would have been too embarrassing for her. In Front of You, Mina. I didn’t have the heart to ruin it at that moment.” He looked away. “But go ahead, tell Kaida if you want. If that’s your..’master plan.’

“I'm not the type of person to stoop so low that I’d cause an innocent person grief for my satisfaction, the truth will come out eventually.” Roy leaned back against the gym doors, pushing them forward making his way out but not before he dropped his own two cents.

“Whether you tell her or not”

Mako Akane

All three of the girls looked to Mako as she opened a door from the security room. Ava smiled and said, “You’re fine! We just got here.”

Emma used the discraction of Mako making an appearance to finally wriggle her way from her older sisters grasp with a grunt. Adjusting her hair back to normal. Mia smiled as she let her sister go. Looking to Mako as she mentioned Jett. Her eyes holding a mischievous glint in them.

Narrowing her eyes in curiosity she said, “Oh yea? Any hint before I ask him?” She said with a smirk.

Emma then added, “We are here to visit Jett as well as Yukari today.” She raised a bag. “Shrimp Rangoon”

”No hints. Just ask him what he did today. That’s all,” replied Mako, before turning her attention from Mia to Emma. ”Oh, Yukari too? I wasn’t even away you two knew each other, but I think she’s in the girl’s dorms right now. I saw Tatara-san practically dragging her in that direction earlier. I’m sure she’ll like her present, though. Now, shall I sign you three in?”

Three girls nodded at mako when she asked if she should sign them in. Mia frowned slightly, that was no fun. But it started to make her, as well as the other girls wonder what he did. Mia put her hand to her chin as she thought what it could be. As she studied the woman in front of her.

Ava spoke up, “Yukari lived with us for a little bit before school started.” Informing Mako how they knew Yukari.

Mia suddenly got a wicked smile As a thought popped in her head. “Did Jett finally confess he had a major crush on you?” Still trying to figure out what Mako meant. Ava and Emma suddenly looked to Mia shocked that she would even bring it up. But then they looked to Mako as… well… it could have been possible.

This got a chuckle out of Mako as she was in the middle of signing the three in. Her sly, foxlike eyes opened and looked up at Mia. ”No. That didn’t happen today,” she answered, making it very unclear whether she was joking, or whether Jett had actually told her at some point. Even in this domesticated, mundane, ordinary job, and even though it was a major feather in her hat that she had never, ever killed, Mako still had that slippery, saucy, hateable yet loveable charisma that screamed out ‘Supervillain’.

The three girls mouths dropped open, Emma and Ava taking that as yes he did do that just not today, Mia did as well but the smile and tone made her unsure. She left it unclear. Giving enough to neither confirm nor deny. She narrowed her eyes, mako certainly did not give part of her personality up when she stopped running around as a master thief.

Mia smirked, frankly despite her mother’s feelings towards this woman she thought she was amusing.

Emma then asked after having a thought. She smirked “Did he ‘accidently’ pop into the girls locker room?” Jett’s quirk was a bit uncontrollable for him, with his ADD it would often lead him to trouble which he really didn’t mean to start. remembering a story from a few years back.

Ava was suprised that ms. mako seemed to skip over the fact Yukari was living with them before. But she shrugged looking over Ms. makos desk, it was clean and well organized which she approved of with her ocd she had to have everything perfect. However there seemed to be a stack of papers slightly higher on one side, as if a small box was under it. Noticing a red wrapped present.

“Um…” she said, fighting between not saying anything because she really didn’t know me mako and her wanting to straighten out that small stack of papers…. the later won out. She pointed to the stack of paper on the side of the desk. “Are you trying to hide that box? “ she squealed meekly.

Emma looked to Ava and wrapped her hand around her mouth. Chucking nervously she said “sorry bout that it’s none of her business, she’s just over over curious. She pulled Ava’s head over to the side and hugged it. Why did she have to be so weird?

”What part of no hints did y-” Mako started, before noticing the box for the first time after Ava brought her attention to it. The genuine surprise and bewilderment on Mako’s face was hard to fake. She didn’t notice this ribbon-tied box in her in-tray. It definitely wasn’t there before she got called away by Hitomi. Mako was sure of that….90% sure...okay, 40% sure. She carefully pulled it out, and placed it in the center of the desk.

”I have no idea how this got here or who put it there. Shall we find out?” she asked as she took the note and held it so they could all read it.

The three girls moved closer so they could see. The note read Im sorry I haven’t contacted you sooner, things have been a little crazy for me. I hope this gift would help gain some of your forgiveness. I thought about covering your entire desk with roses, as you remind me of one, but it would hardly do you justice as roses wilt so soon after blooming, while you… have only grown more beautiful every day and will always.

Sincerely,
Jean-luc

The three girls were red in the cheeks. Looking to Mako, Mia was the first to say something. “Oooooo Ms. MAKO. Do you have a boyfriend no one knows about?”

”Not yet, I don’t,” replied Mako, who was grinning uncharacteristically genuinely, and blushing almost as much as the girls.”Anyway, let’s open the box, shall we?”

Once Mako opened the paper, they would seem a heavy white ivory box, smooth and ornate with little gold trim. Upon opening the box, there would be red velvet that lined the box, and a large black perfect blossomed rose. Made of Obsidian. So detailed and delicate Iit looked as if a rose had been turned into glass. Another note was placed there. ‘For one of flawless beauty that would never fade and a hint of danger, I hope you forgive me and meet me outside for lunch.’

Mako quickly looked up and scanned out of the windows that she could see from here, but that minimal view afforded her no glimpse of Jean. She returned her attention to the girls. ”I’m afraid I have other matters to attend to. You’ve all been signed in, and are free to...do whatever you came here to do. How do I look?”

The three girls giggled, and all nodded with their heads to the door in unison, telling her to go. Mia quickly said, “You look fine! JEEZE The way this guy is talking to you could have bedhead and he would find you adorable. Go go go go.” Mia moved to the side so Mako had a clear lane. Even though She was a master thief, and a past criminal, she certainly deserved to be happy after changing so much in her life.

Mako needed no further persuasion, and hopped right over the front desk before briskly heading to the front door while cheerfully waving bye to the three sisters.

LYSANDER

@Lucius Cypher

Lysander was about to walk out when Fujino entered. He was honestly less than excited when he heard her voice but that all melted away when he was met with a total babe. And she wanted to talk to him! Wow this was... actually kind of weird. He was going to go after Seiko but he honestly wouldn't mind Fujino sliding into his life. He let his eyes close a little and ran a cordless hand through his product filled hair that bounced back into shape. His smile was only on the right side and his face was angled downward slightly. He looked at her in a flirty way and nodded upward, his face now angled slightly over his head and his eyes looking down at her.

"Hey, you can talk to me all day. How uh, do you know my name? And if you've heard I'm not, I am most definitely single and searching and I may be done, babe."

He let out a wink that would melt the hearts of only fictional light novel harem girls who were far too devoted to boys. It was by real world standards an awkward high schooler trying to hit on another high schooler. The most professional of flirting going on. He was ready to get to second base at a record time, being fueled by overconfidence and celebrity drama magazines. He was in his element, and his element was being single until he died.

Reina Mori
&
Takeshi Yashiro

Takeshi noticed, quite quickly that he was being pulled closer to her by her quirk...whether on purpose or she forgot about it he didn’t care. He pulled back just enough so he wouldn’t instantly get pulled into her...though he did enjoy the feeling of them even closer. When she squeaked about smiling a lot around him. He couldn’t help but smile more.

She then added the fact that she she too missed a lot of things, his smile being one of them. This made him pull his head back with a thoughtful expression on his face. He didn’t think he smiled much...well he didn’t, but only around Reina did this happen. This only made him smile warmly at the thought that they both were the cause of these changes in each other.

He looked back to her when she glanced back at him, telling him she was glad he visited her. He blinked once as he stared at her with a faint warm smile on his face. Thinking back to their first meeting, his arm that was touching hers, moved and his hand took hers and squeezed it gently. “I’m glad you knocked me off my feet.” he said softly smiling at her.

He couldn’t resist anymore, as he slowly allowed her quirk to pull him in even more.

The girl gave a playful half-hearted roll of her eyes at Takeshi’s line, barely containing an excitement full of disbelief welling up in her stomach. She was expecting… something. The girl couldn’t bring herself to fully form the thought, though—the disbelief was too strong. Despite the fact that Takeshi had made it obvious, Reina was finding herself unable to accept that he was romantically interested in her. There was a mental block, stubbornly deep-seated.

“… Are you sure?…” she whispered as she lowered her gaze to rest her temple on the boy’s shoulder, seemingly not speaking to Takeshi in particular and rather just voicing the thoughts that plagued her mind. Her quirk, however, tugged out of her control.

Takeshi felt the carpet yanked from under him as she moved forward, only to lower her temple onto his shoulder. He was expecting something else. But after a moment, he found he enjoyed the feeling. With her pull even stronger than he felt and my he gave into it. Their bodies pressing against each other as he rested his cheek against the top of her head. At her question he squeezed her hand again.

His voice soft but firm in his conviction. “I admit, I’ve never felt like this before.” He closed his eyes. “But I’ve never met anyone like you before. You amaze me more every day… though you are a little stubborn in actually believing it or me. But when I think of… spending time with you, I start to count the minutes till we meet.”

He looked down. “ I… didn’t notice it before, because I’m not use to this, but after this whole ordeal, I kept thinking more and more, how worried I was about you. How much I missed you.” He shifted the shoulder she rested gently, as his right hand was occupied with hers. “I know I’m sure…”

Reina listened to him speak, losing focus on her negative thoughts again and instead just feeling content and calm in both mind and body. She nodded slowly and gently in reciprocation as he spoke, ruffling her hair against his shoulder. While the girl had been avoiding thinking about what had lead to Takeshi’s missing limb and her still being in the hospital during the visit, it had affected her drastically. Takeshi’s presence also helped with that. The cloud of negativity that inhabited her seemed to always struggle to properly form when she was with him—especially now, that she had survived an encounter with violently dangerous villains.

The girl shifted so that her cheek was on Takeshi’s shoulder, her eyes glancing up at him. Her heartbeat picked up in anticipation at what she was about to do—though even she wasn’t fully certain of what that was. The mental block was still there… but rather than giving up or smashing through it, the girl was climbing over it. It wasn’t elegant, it wasn’t a final fix for her issues. She wasn’t great to be around for most people—but people were unique. Why would Takeshi lie about how he felt about her? Maybe out of pity. But it was maybe just as likely that he really did enjoy spending time with her, like she enjoyed spending time with him. The girls face warmed again as her heart continued to race out of control, but her face was a perhaps cute look of determination, thin brow gently furrowed in focus almost like when she was training with her quirk.

She squeezed Takeshi’s hand tightly for a second to make sure he was also looking at her. Before his head was finished turning, she spoke quietly, but surprisingly firmly.

“… You’re stuck with me, then.”

And not a heart-skip later, her quirk tugged again as she moved her head forward to press her lips against the boy’s.

Takeshi looked down at her as she shifted her cheek to his shoulder. His heart skipped a beat at how close she was. His face was even more red now once again... but he smiled softly. He couldn’t believe this was happening. It was only a week ago that he met this incredible girl. And here he was, sitting shoulder to shoulder...holding hands over some food. Takeshi never had that in his life… His heart was racing... something that was unfamiliar to him when not fighting for his life... but at the same time, he enjoyed the rush it gave him as it was a different kind Adrenaline.

He raised his eyebrow as her face turned into a look of determination. But it was so cute… it made him want to… He lost his train of thought when she squeezed his hand. As she spoke, he blinked. No time to react as he was suddenly pulled closer and she pressed her lips against his. His eyes grew wide as his mind went blank. Like it couldn’t compute what was happening. Thankfully though it rebooted fairly quickly as he pressed back in his kiss own kiss to her.

It seemed so surreal... he didn’t imagine her lips would be so...soft. He felt intoxicated by her, the sensation, the smell of her perfume… He held the kiss as long as he could. Before he pulled away quite literally due to her quirk but just an inch away. Resting his forehead against hers he smiled genuinely… perhaps the most genuine smile he has ever given in his life.

The past few days melted away into nothingness. His pain, his loss of his arm. The stress he had worrying about her in this hospital. Gone. All there was, was happiness. Genuine happiness. He wanted to shout out to the world. But he let go of her hand and reached up, slightly awkwardly as he barely was able to touched her right cheek with his thumb in this position.

But realizing she wasn’t resting on his shoulder anymore he shifted, his hand brushing down her jaw and around her chin. Till his palm slid over her left cheek, his fingers running into her hair to pull her in for another kiss. But before he did, he said softly. “I’m pretty sure it’s the other way around…” with a smirk before he kissed her once more.

The girl was in a ‘zone,’ so to speak, not dissimilar to how she had felt fighting for her life—though not quite that intense or terrifying. Point was, after the kiss broke, she was left in a daze due to that zone for half a second, before coming back to her senses and immediately feeling a rush of shock and embarrassment at what she had done. Before her mind could even speculate on how she might have just completely pushed away Takeshi with that, though, she saw that nothing was wrong. Takeshi hadn’t pulled away. Even after the kiss, he kept his forehead on hers, and he was smiling.

There wasn’t a whole lot Reina could manage other than stare at the boy with widened eyes, stewing in her happiness and disbelief at… everything. The girl was so sluggish in her state that she didn’t even register the second kiss until it was halfway done, all her attention taken away by the feeling of Takeshi’s touch eliciting nice goosebumps.

Mind finally starting to work again as the second kiss broke off, all the stress and excitement of the situation got to her and made her suddenly painfully restless. Doing her best not to appear panicked, Reina moved aside the table and practically leapt up from the bed, slapping her cheek with her one good hand harder than she might have originally meant to.

“Th-that was o-okay right? Right?” she stumbled through quick breaths, the disbelief and joy and worry all managing to be apparent in her expressions. “I didn’t just—just screw up b-bad? I d-didn’t?...” She glanced back towards Takeshi, heart still exploding out of her chest, but she already felt herself slowly beginning to relax after giving that burst of energy something of an outlet—even if that outlet was a bit embarrassing to show Takeshi. Though… it’d be something he’d see sooner or later anyway, at this rate.

Reina paused, glancing away from the boy and pressing the back of her fingers against her burning cheek in an attempt to cool them down.

Takeshi eyes opened wide as she pulled away suddenly, quickly getting up. He let his arm drop to the bed as she slapped herself on the cheek really hard. He didn’t know what was going on. She started asking if that was ok, as if she did something screwed up something. He blinked a few times confused. He shook his head, but he didn’t know if she saw it as she turned away.

“Reina…” He said soft as he pushed himself up off the bed, moving towards her. He placed his hand on her elbow, the one connected to her good hand. “You didn’t screw up Reina…” He leaned his head to the side to try and get into her view. He smiled at her. His face red. “Of course it's okay…” he tilted his head to the other side. A slight worried thought came to his head. “Unless...that wasn’t what you wanted...” He allowed his hand to drop from her elbow.

The girl had been given the time to gather herself, and looked back to Takeshi, embarrassed but feeling better.

“I-it is what I want,” she said, brow furrowing as she seemed to go into thought. “I’m just… I have some issues, I guess…” Reina’s body cringed subtly at the admission. Insulting herself within her own thoughts was one thing, but saying such things out loud for a boy she liked to hear was even worse. It was a hole she dug herself with that outburst though, so she had to at least offer some sort of explanation to Takeshi.

“I’m not really ever very confident—at all, because of… stuff… and just my own personality.” she said, looking away again. “I like you, so it is what I want, and I believe you when you say it’s what you want too, but…” The girl had to really think on her words, knowing she wouldn’t like to hear Takeshi badmouthing himself either. “I just feel like you could… you could do better, and I don’t want to make you regret being with me, but I’m scared I will because I have a history of really… really screwing things up…”

Reina trailed off, noticing the flare of defiant anger in her again. Anger at her past and especially at herself. She’d survived an encounter—and been evenly matched—with a dangerous villain for a short time. She’d already decided she would change. It was hard to shake the habits that had been beaten into her for so long, but if she couldn’t do that much, she’d never be able to atone for what she had done.

Her gravity was pulling lightly now, and Reina found her good hand gripping tightly to the fabric of Takeshi’s shirt, her forehead pressed into the nook of his shoulder and neck. She needed to keep hiding her face for a bit longer.

“I… already told you that you’re stuck with me though. I’m your problem as well for now.”

Takeshi frowned when she said she has some issues. He said nothing as she spoke, watching her closely. He shook his head when she said she felt like he could do better than her. That she didn’t want to have him regret being with her. His voice caught in his throat as he hesitated, not wanting to say something wrong, he thought of what he should say.

He did notice how she was always doubting herself. But, when he watched her fight... that seemed far from the truth. Of course he wouldn’t know what she was thinking, but he did see her first fight, it was amazing, even though she didn’t win. She still did a phenomenal job. But even so, that paled in comparison to her fight with his brother. Rakasha. She put up a real fight against a killer. She pushed through her pain of broken bones and other injuries.

He glanced down to her hand that was gripping his shirt tightly. Her quirk pulling once again... a feeling that felt comforting to him now. As she pressed her forehead into the nook of his neck, he wrapped his arm around the middle of her back and pulled her even closer. His cheek pressing against the top of her head. As she reiterated that he was stuck with her. That she was his problem. This irritated him slightly, he did not see her as a problem, nor that he was stuck with her. He was irritated she kept on insulting herself.

He took a deep breath… noticing soft scent of her hair. He didn’t want to move her, he wanted her to know he was there for her… that he wanted to be ‘stuck’ next to her. He ran his hand up her back and placed it gently on the back of her head, squeezing gently as he pressed his lips against her temple for a moment. “Reina, I want you to listen to me.” He said in Firmly, but his tone was just so she would pay attention. His voice calm and soothing as he then said. “We all have issues. I certainly have some I’m working through. I think you just think too much, and think too little of yourself. Which is why you are not ‘confident.’ But that's not what I see when I look at you. When I see the real you. I see a beautiful woman who stands up in the face of fear, with so much confidence that it made my brother think twice.”

He moved his hand to her shoulder and held her.“I also see you as kind and forgiving. After what... my family put you through, you still are speaking to me. Knowing that they are in my life you are willing to talk to me, to want to be with me. I doubt there are many who are brave enough to even look at me after knowing what you know now. I don’t see you as a problem. Nor do I see that I’m stuck with you. I’m blessed to know you, and lucky that you would even want to deal with me.”

Reina stayed motionless as she listened to Takeshi, keeping her face hidden the entire time. The boy spoke long enough to give her enough time to fight back any tears that had been threatening to fall after she had spoken aloud some of the thoughts that seemed to never leave her.

She couldn’t help but give a quiet giggle as she lifted her head a bit, glancing at Takeshi for just a moment.

“You… say some lame things sometimes,” she said through her laugh. “But it’s cute. And most of what you say isn’t so corny… so thanks.” She could nitpick at every word he said, find some way to convince him why she wasn’t any good… but she simply didn’t. Her mind made no effort to, contrary to how it always did.

She knew everyone had their issues—it was why she didn’t want to push her own problems on anyone. It was part of the reason she wanted to be a hero. It was the entire reason she was hesitant here. But his words made her realize she hadn’t even thought about his family in that way. To her, Michiko and Takeshi were completely separate from the villains she had fought. To Takeshi, though, it was a much bigger deal than that, of course. His spiel had served as a reminder that just as she’d be dumping some of her baggage on him, he’d be doing the same. That was relationships in short, after all. Though she hadn’t had many—and none romantic—she was intelligent enough to understand that much.

Takeshi let his head and shoulders fall in defeat when she said he says lame things. Though it was hard to not smile at her laugh. Shrugging he simply said, “It’s why I don’t talk much…” with a slight smile. He didn’t have a chance to say anymore when there was a knock on the door.

The girl paused again looking to Takeshi for a moment, before finally letting go of his shirt, a sheepish smile on her lips as faint pink returned to her cheeks.

”Reinbow? Are you awake? I got a watermelon!”

She turned to make her way to the door. “I-I’m awake,” she said, opening the door a second later. She had half a mind to just poke her head through a crack but decided against it, opening the door fully. She smiled at Mamoru, blinking as she saw what the girl carried. A whole watermelon. Of course, that’s what she had said, but for some reason Reina hadn’t been expecting her hands to be holding a whole one.

Reina laughed softly, moving aside to invite Mamoru in.

“I don’t think I’m really supposed to be moving around right now, so come in quick before any of the nurses see me.” It was clear by the tone of her voice though that that wasn’t something she was actually particularly concerned about. “They seem to never really believe me when I tell them I can walk around fine without it hurting much.” The girl gave a smirk, glancing from Mamoru to Takeshi, knowing full well why the nurses wouldn't take her word at face value.

Acion Nakamiji

All reluctantly, he was locked right in his place as the pink-haired girl sat onto the bed before crawling over to him as she buried her face onto his lap. And way before she fell into her short nap, Tomoe let the rest of her reservoir flow down Acion's pant sleeves. All in all, it wasn't anything the winged man could expect. Geez. Just before he got beaten up by Dulga, Tomoe was being a lot more cheerful than this shadow of herself right now. At least to what he had brought her back to. All in a short fifteen minutes fight, it all came down to this. Happened off-screen he thought? It may very likely be Roy and Jett's fight that shook her to this. Indeed, Roy was that dude who let Tomoe clung onto her all the time. She even mentioned that he allowed this whole lap sleeping. He was her closer friend that could do it. Seeing how they were headbutting each other as the rest of the girls were screaming and crying to stop it, he knew it wasn't easy hit on her. If not for this injury, Acion would have stopped them already. He probably would proceed to talk to at least Roy about it. He was also his friend. He wanted to help. Or even if he couldn't help, he'd be there instead.

It took her a bit before she actually fall asleep. And a while for Acion to get used to having a head on his leg. His breathe gradually slowed and lengthened. Each smog of air grew heavy, along with the current flow of things around. After the Shadow Clan incident, things hadn't been the same. The school had been trying to keep the information in place, but the student body had already caught heed of the news. His class at least. Things weren't the same anymore. Takeshi lost his arm. Roy being very concerned about it recently while he probably needn't mention the extent of Kaida. And even the Nakamiji siblings found it difficult to return to their normal ways anymore, knowing that there is a clan of highly trained assassins out there and there was no one to stop them. So far probably the Sky Knights were the only group they knew that were actively seeking out on them, but knowing the threats, probably that status wasn't anymore. His sister knew better though.

"If you need to like this, you could come anytime."

He said, despite knowing Tomoe was asleep. Yeah. He wanted this. He wanted to take care of his friends, like how some had taken care of him. Even if he couldn't solve the problem, he still wanted to be there. And it wasn't just Tomoe's issues. Anyone really. He was born with six wings of an archangel. Why wouldn't he use it?

He was about to let his mind drift away when suddenly Hitomi stepped in. When his expression was turned completely upside down. She was the one on the list of people Acion does not want to let see this. In fact, he probably didn't want anyone to see this at all. Publicly, this was the doomsday button that sparked a series of fire that could burn hard. The world's most deadliest conflict was caused by just several misunderstandings after all.

His eyes were of a confused and nervous dog, but Hitomi didn't seem to pay attention. She instead woke Tomoe up. Her voice was a bad indicator that she was not at all happy with this sight. Tomoe woke up pretty easily, but her attitude changed in just the minutes she went to sleep. Completely opposite. The crying girl was gone, and back to the usual Tomoe. Felt like she just hit the reset button or just reloaded the previous save file or something. There was also Kenichi who witnessed, but he didn't seem to mind, or bother with the intention of gossiping what he just saw. He didn't seem like that sort of person.

For the entire thing, he did not say a single thing. He didn't know what to say, or do anything aside from waving goodbye to Kenichi at the end. Up until he was alone with the sheep girl.

"Sorry I didn't know you have an agreement with her." He had his shoulder above his chin as his eyes glanced between her and the white bedsheet of the infirmary. "I thought it was something serious."

Tomoe Kishitmoto

Location
Outside Infirmary
@Zeroth

Tomoe was quickly passing through the hallway making her way to... well nowhere really. Tomoe simply wanted to be away from Roy, Jett and her roommate for some time. She couldn't face them without knowing what to say. Otherwise she might end up hurting herself or the three of them even more. Tomoe jogging around like crazy didn't know where to go now however, she always could go back to her room to think but now her roommate was mad at her she had to go somewhere else entirely. Perhaps the roof? or the restrooms? She didn't know.

An unknown voice reached out behind her, calling her name. Tomoe stopped and quickly tried to connect the voice to a face but was proven difficult. Tomoe turned to the boy looking to see who it was and was met with the face from just now at the infirmary.

"Oh, h-hello. Umm, I have felt better I suppose. w-who are you again..."

Somewhat surprised she gazed at the boy his face searching through her memory to recollect who this person was. Not a lot of people would just randomly ask if they were okay. She had probably seen or met him somewhere before but she couldn't guess who this person was in the slightest. Tomoe was never good with remembering names in the first place.

Kenichi continued, making it clear why he ran after her. It became quite obvious he was from her class as well, Tomoe should feel ashamed not knowing most of her classmates. Well she was asleep so was she to blame? Probably. Tomoe turned somewhat uncomfortable when Kenichi began about the whole situation that was revolving around her. She turned her face away from him as her eyes saddened. Could she refuse to talk? Perhaps, but that would be too rude to a classmate she had never met before.

"You are right, I really can't wrap my head around the fact they don't talk with the whole class about this. It would be a lot better instead of being left in the dark. Anyhow... Acion was just hurt from his spar with Dulga so there isn't really anything wrong between those two. D-don't get the wrong i-idea about A-Acion and me either! I-I was just sleeping! I like to sleep with other people..."

Tomoe began to get a little flustered when she brought Acion to the conversation. She really shouldn't be, it only made it more of mis conception between them.

"Roy and Jett are a thing though, they have been two of the best people I've known since I was little. It really hurts to see them fight about stupid stuff... I can't.

Tomoe turned quite again as she tilted her face towards the ground clenching her fist tightly. She shouldn't continue talking about them, it was only making it worse for herself.

"Sorry."

Nia

Location
Dormitory
@Lucius Cypher

Donny and Nia arrived at the dormitory, Donny was on a whole different floor from her entirely, that is why she probably hadn't met him in the first place. He began cracking about the recipe inside his head, that was clearly obvious after seeing him think about this so hardly. Donny washed his hands and pointed it out towards Nia to do the same. Nia nodded towards him and did the same logically. After that she got hold of one of the aprons from the closest just like he guided her to do and stood besides him while starting to tie her hair into a ponytail to stuff it under a hairnet.

Donny had pulled out a whole professional case with knifes and everything. Nia honestly found it really professional to have something as that, he must be a great cook when she thought about it a little longer. She couldn't wait for a taste of one of his dishes. He was apparently gonna make pizza? Alright, with her tomatoes that was entirely possible.

"T-that sounds q-quite good."

Nia gave him a sweet smile to support his idea and listened carefully as he instructed her to grate the cheese. Alright she had done this before, this could probably work out if she did it carefully and thoroughly. Nia gave him a small firm nod as she placed herself where Donny set up her work station. Oh man, this was really happening wasn't it. It was starting to feel like they were manning a marine ship for it to take sail. Nia looked over at Donny to see what he was doing out of curiosity and noticed he was gonna make the sauce while the dough of the pizza was slowly defrosting.

Donny called out both to them that they were gonna cook! Nia in respons had to show her hype for this as well and let out a soft careful chirp as well.

"Y-yaay!..."

That was actually really embarrassing to do. She probably should have kept quite. Nia in deep fluster just moved her hands to the grater and cheese to hide her embarrassment and to just start working. She really did her best but she honestly couldn't tell if she did it perfect. While they were at it they should make some conversation right! It would feel awkward if they didn't.

"S-so, h-have you a-always liked c-cooking this m-much."

Hallway

As Tomoe looked down at the ground, quietly struggling with her frustration...a warm, yet firm hand suddenly tousled her hair.

"Hey, no more of that, eh?" Kenichi said as he patted the smaller girl's head. "I didn't know anything was even goin' on with you and Acion until you said somethin' about it, so ya know what that tells me? You're the one who's worried about someone takin' it the wrong way, and if there actually was somethin' going on you wouldn't talk about it like that, right?" Satisfied with his own roundabout logic, Kenichi patted her head one more time, then crossed his arms and nodded sagely. "And ya know, I bet uh...Hi-chan, and Acion, realize that too. So if ya really didn't do anything bad, don't feel bad about somebody else bein' a little ticked off at ya, cause they got nothin' to be ticked off about." He grinned. "As for Jett and Roy, ain't no use cryin' over 'em. They're good guys, and sometimes we men just gotta handle things our own way." He thumped his chest. "Girls'll never understand, but real men gotta follow their manly instincts, ya know!"

But then, closing his eyes with a sigh, he waggled his finger at the girl.

"But, Kishimoto-chan, if there's something I gotta be mad at ya about...If there's any wrong you've committed here..."

He suddenly jumped backwards, sweeping his hands dramatically until he performed a series of Sentai/Kamen Rider/Hero poses.

"It's not knowin' my name! I'm YOSHIDA KENICHI, THE MAIN CHARACTER, yo! How could ya forget me!?" His final pose was that of a Kabuki actor's presentation, hand outstretched as he rolled his neck as if he were headbanging to heavy metal in super slow motion. Then he froze in place with a dramatic stare at the small girl...and waited to see if she would laugh.

Amane Kishimoto

It’s always interesting to see someone who was once feared fall from their pedestal at the top. Amane was someone who was used to blocking out the outside noise, it’s one thing to name call him but to physically assault him, to kick him in the NUTS? There has been plenty of things that has been allowed to slide but a line had to be crossed now, just because Amane is on academic probation doesn’t mean that he is defenseless. It seems like the pranksters underestimated him.

The young man had been wrapping up with his after school duties in the cafeteria. All that was left for him was to mop the floor, which was simple enough. The boy dipped a mop into a bucket of soap and water before going to work on the cafeteria floor. Since the assault or prank or whatever it was, Amane had been plotting on when to exact his revenge. It was true that the academy had a effective surveillance system but there were blind spots, especially when gravity was on your side.

A smile slowly crept up on his face at the thought of crushing his enemies, seeing himself towering over their unconscious bodies brought him amusement. Amane checked the time on his wrist and smirked.

“It’s about time to start hunting.”

Persia Hayashida

Persia bounced through the hallways joyfully as she searched high and low for Lysander. She had to thank him for taking Amane down a peg for what he did...well at least that was the cover up for her actual agenda. She asked a few of her classmates where the boy might’ve been until one of them pointed her in the right direction.

“I saw him heading towards miss Makos office.”

Persia gave and energetic nod before making her way towards that direction that she was pointed in. “Thanks!” She said picking up her pace as she cut a corner. Hopefully he wasn’t super busy or else that would complicate things a bit. The brunette cut another corner and saw the boy speaking Fujino, the class secretary. This was sure to complicate things, her original plan wasn’t going to fly as long as the class president was around. Even though Fujino was around, the brunette would have to continue on with the confrontation. If she were to turn back now then it would look suspicious. The girl took a quick breath of air, preparing herself for this challenge.

“Morde-kun!” she shouted as she ran full speed in the hallway before recklessly tackling Lysander. Her facial expression quickly changed as she realized that the two were going down. she clung desperately to the red head, pushing her own body closely against his as the two fell to the floor together. With a large thud the two crashed into the ground, an event that would surely gain a bit of attention from Fujino. “Ow-ow-ow” Persia said to herself as she recuperated from the fall, her head was against the boys chest. After a few seconds of recuperating, the brunette placed her hand on the boys chest and pushed herself up off him as she rubbed her head.

“I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” she said with a sweet smile, one that would surely get the red heads heart racing a bit.

Dulga Tarata

Dulga simple crossed her arms and looked at the two soft looking girls. Really, one was a dragon and the other could probably one of the toughest fighters in the class, but their ultimate weakness was a bit of snow and chilly wind? It made Dulga feel somewhat annoyed. "All the more reason you two need to come. Didn't you just tell me you wanted to get stronger? First step is to deal with your weak points. It doesn't matter how powerful you can become if you have a critical weakness that your enemies will exploit." While Dulga was nice and friendly before (As nice and friendly as she sometimes is around her friends), she seemed much more stern this time. She didn't like the thought that these two were going to just give up so easily. "In fact it's not even a choice anymore. I'll drag both of you to Hokkaido if I have to. I'll make sure you train and practice in the snow so much you'll grow numb at anything less than subzero." Dulga's tone wasn't joking either, though this was also the tone she used for joking too. Whether Dulga was serious or not wouldn't been seen until the next weekend.

There was some legitimate questions though, namely about transportation. She still had some of her mother's coins so she could easily secure transport from the station to her home and back. "There is a bullet train that we can take from Hosu to Hokkaido, though it won't be a short trip. About ten hours or so, if the weather doesn't cause any problems. From the station to my home I can rent a shuttle for the weekend. As for who'll go... Honestly, I only planned this to be a girl's only trip." Dulga raised her hand and stuck out two fingers, and would raise a finger for each name. "Yozakura and Kaida of course. Kishimoto if she can muster up the energy to actually train. Possibly Akasha if I think she won't be more trouble than it's worth. Kasuke could be worth training too." Those were the only ones that Dulga knew personally. The others Dulga has seen in class and through training, but never personally interacted with them. "The others are free to come too, if they want. Mori, Fumika, Mamoru, and Maeda. Though I don't expect them to drop everything they're doing and come just because I ask. I'm sure they have plans for this weekend too."

Thinking about this trip some more, Dulga was going to need to spend a bit of time to prep. If it was just herself, Dulga had more than enough supplies at her home to survive a weekend alone. But if she had to take care of even just two more people, she'll need more food, water, firewood, and other essentials to survive the nights. And that's not assuming their training doesn't end up leaving them stranded in the forest away from her house. It's a very real possibility what with the blizzards that could mislead them or treacherous terrain putting them off course. All the more reason Dulga needed to prepare ahead. "Take essentials, but pack light. This isn't a vacation or a camping trip. Dress warmly and have spare clothes. Right now there's no running water or electricity at my house but there's going to be plenty enough space for everyone and it's built to stay warm in the winter. I should have some firewood left to heat up the stove and hearth too. Might need to bring your own food. I wouldn't rely on hunting and gathering except to supplement meals." Looking up Dulga tried to think of what else to add or say. Honestly aside from that she thinks she had everything covered, but before she finished she had one more thing to add. It was going to be very important for the girls.

"Leave the drama at school. You can't afford to be prissy and petty up north. I'm not taking you girls up north just so you can fight."
