Wandering God of Stories
Domain: Stories and Adventures
Personality: Easy to please, easy to anger. Symarus is an ever changing god, drawn forth by curiosity and boredom. Born from the imagination of mortals, he always seeks the most interesting outcome. Good and evil mean nothing to him, so long as he is entertained. Mortals may earn his patronage by being surprising, genuine, or simply insane. So long as they seek to make a story of their own. But there is nothing Symarus despises more than those who diligently and consistently work towards something beyond themselves. Those who settle for a mundane life, or who favour practicality over flair. And when bored, he can get quite vicious.
Domain:Unlike many of the other gods, Symarus has no true home. He is a wandering god, and exists in every shadow where man means to see agency. In many ways he is a god of the human spirit, unconfined and free. Staying in one place too long would be boring, after all.
History:By the standards of the gods, Symarus is practically a newborn. Birthed long after the primal concepts and constants of the universe were set in place, he is a more recent creation. Formed from the sentient thoughts of living beings. As such he lacks a context to interact with many of his brethren gods, and some of the most ancient barely consider him a god at all.
