[IC] Avatar: Return of the Air Benders

[tsubasa]

Zenji's eyes flickered open at the sound of Zhou's voice. She inhaled sharply before her brain calmed her and found the logical explanation. She smiled at him softly, "Yes... It really is... Most people just don't have to face them all at once..."

She looked around the street slightly, "I guess I shouldn't just be standing out in the open like this... Just because people say they're willing to protect me... doesn't mean I should give them reason to..."

She pulled out her toque and pulled it over her hair again, hiding the vibrant colour. She sighed, "I got chased down a few days ago... They've gotten more frequent... I'm starting to think it has something to do with my hair..." She shook her head and looked toward the door, "I'm not holding us up at all, am I? Masuto isn't waiting for me to get a hold of myself before we go to the island... right? Because if they want to go now..." she shrugged, "I'll be fine."

[Kilune]

Mizuki looked to Zhou as he walked out of the building. She sighed a bit, he was probably right. Looking to Masuto she nodded a bit. "You're right of course.. And though it seems sudden, I believe Zhou has a point. It may be the wisest course of action for us to depart as soon as possible.."

She smiled a bit to Masuto. "Is there anything that I can assist you with to prepare for the trip? Any clothes or luggage you wish to carry with us, or anything of the sort?"

[pyroman]

For the time being, Masuto had simply zoned out, still trying to sort out the questions in his head about him being the avatar, and his plans for learning the elements. He hadn't noticed that the two new people who wished to help on his journey had wished him a happy birthday, and he simply continued with this thoughts with a blank face as he thought about where to start.

Minutes passed in the real world while Masuto sorted out the information available to him. He thought about anything that could help him for the moment, anything at all that could help him with his growing connection to the past avatars. He was unsure if he would be able to talk to any of the ones before Avatar Korra, but he needed to at least try and talk to her. He was digging deeper and deeper in to his mind until he seemed to strike something. It was an alarming sight, but in a very small instant, all of the avatars appeared before him, and disappeared as soon as they came.

The image pulled him out of his trance and his body jerked slightly. the young fire bender looked around to see that Mizuki was in the middle of talking about bringing anything with him. He thought for a moment and decided that he wouldn't bring much of anything with him. Nobody knew that he was the avatar yet, and he wanted to keep it like that for as long as he could, avoiding any sudden attack while learning the elements. He thought about the image again that he saw and tried to piece it together. He had some trouble, but in time he did do it. Masuto recognized the picture as the exact same one that he saw when visiting the library. He didn't know why it was exactly the same, but an idea stirred in his head.

Masuto shook his head and looked at Mizuki. "No, only a few things, but I plan on staying low until I get most of the elements down." He expanded on his thought about the library and decided it would be their first stop. He wanted to not only talk about a few things while he was there, but also to try something else. "I'll get packing. Can you tell Zhou and Zenji to get ready? I'll be back in a few minutes."

[Aerandir]

"Don't act so glum... Sure it is going to be a lot of waiting around but... That means fire and camping and that's always been fun."
He nodded as they walked, sure camping was fun, time to get out of the city.

Nyima smiled at him, trying to lighten the mood but he still remained angry and upset. Of course, he didn't exactly appear to be either of these things but she knew. She sighed and looked at her hands, "Are you mad at me?"

He looked at her and shook his head, even though he wanted to say yes he didn't want to create friction between them. He's tried so hard the last year to bring up his feelings for her but he could never pick up any hint of her having the same . With this final shut down it was a hard blow to him.

"I"m not mad at you..." He sighed and continued. " I am just thinking of your brother... If we attack the Avatar... He will fight back. It's going to be hard to make sure he is fine... I don't want you to lose him after gaining him again."

Which was true he did worry about that but he had that up his sleeve incase she asked that question. They soon made it to her home. At which he got on his motorcycle. "I'll meet you back here in fifteen?"

Zenji's smiled at him softly, "Yes... It really is... Most people just don't have to face them all at once..."

He shook his head, " it seems like we are waiting on Masuto for now, as for you being chased, I would say your hair does stand out. But don't worry, I won't let anyone hurt you."

Zenji was thankful that she wasn't holding up the group at all. Now that she thought about it, Masuto did have to pack. In fact, she would to. Going all the way back to Ashoka's seemed unwise. She was sure that she could pick up a few of her clothes from her room at the Air Temple. Maybe she wouldn't have to hide her hair when they left the city, they'd be leaving the people who chased her behind after all. She looked at Zhou and smiled, "Thank you... But I'll try my best to make sure that you don't have to."

She adjusted her bag on her shoulder and nodded, "We should probably get back inside and leave when Masuto is ready... We don't want anyone else catching onto what is happening after all."

She walked passed Zhou and to the door. Before stepping in she looked at him, "Thanks for checking on me..."

"I"m not mad at you..."

It was the sigh that sold it as a blatant lie but she decided to push it aside as it was clearly something he didn't want to talk about. He continued to talk changing the subject to her brother. She nodded her head in response, "I appreciate you asking Han to try his best not to hurt him... That means a lot...."

They walked in near silence the rest of the way to her house. When they got there, he hopped onto his bike. She smiled, "I'll be waiting."

She walked up her porch steps and into her house. Making her way to her room, she grabbed her bag. She filled it quickly, rolling things so they took up less room. She had a large range of clothes in her bag when she finished. The avatar was surely going to travel the world trying to master all four elements, meaning she had to be prepared for all kinds of weather. She grabbed her winter clothes and her summer clothes and the rest in between while still trying to pack as light as possible. When she finished a surprising amount of clothes remained in her closet and she grabbed clothes she could layer. About to zip up the partially filled bag, she hesitated. She walked over to her bed and grabbed a koala-seal plush that Rayn had won her years ago. She smiled at it and stuffed it into her bag. Finally, she grabbed her sleeping bag and walked out of her house. She locked her door behind her and sat on the steps as she waited for Rayn to return.

Mizuki watched as Masuto seemed to lose himself in his own little world for a moment. Finally, after snapping out of it he'd mearly said "I'll get packing. Can you tell Zhou and Zenji to get ready? I'll be back in a few minutes." She bowed lightly to him as he walked by. "Of course, I'll do that now."

She turned to walk out the door and nearly ran into Zenji. She just barely stopped herself from bumping into the girl. Offering a smile Mizuki shifted to the side to let her in. "Avatar Masuto requests that you prepare yourself to leave the city. He's gone to pack now.." She leaned out of the door frame a bit and glanced over to Zhou.

"Zhou...The Avatar is prepping to leave. Are you ready to go?" She asked. Though they had not brought much with them into the city, she didn't know if he would want to see his sister again or not. She glanced the direction that they had come from, then looked back to him. "Do you need to gather anything... or see anyone..before we take off?"

[Aerandir]

"I appreciate you asking Han to try his best not to hurt him... That means a lot...."

He nodded as they walked in near silence the rest of the way to her house. When they got there, he hopped onto his motorcycle. She smiled, "I'll be waiting." He smiled slightly back and drove off, to his house. As soon as he was home he hopped off and ran inside. Quickly grabbing a small bag, throwing a week worth of clothes in. Course the trip would be longer but he learned how to hand wash his clothes. Better to be light. He tuen grabbed his two metal bars that was his how staff and slipped it under his coat and attached it to his back. He threw the bag over his shoulder and called into work, cashing in two months worth of Vacation he saved up. He then headed back to Nyimas, finding her sitting on the porch. He stopped his motorcycle and turned it off looking at her.
"Ready?" He asked.

She looked at Zhou and smiled, "Thank you... But I'll try my best to make sure that you don't have to."

She adjusted her bag on her shoulder and nodded, "We should probably get back inside and leave when Masuto is ready... We don't want anyone else catching onto what is happening after all."

She walked passed Zhou and to the door. Before stepping in she looked at him, "Thanks for checking on me..."

He bowed his head to her and when she walked in he looked to the road ahead of him. After thinking for a moment. Mizuki came out and asked "Zhou...The Avatar is prepping to leave. Are you ready to go?". She glanced the direction that they had come from, then looked back to him. "Do you need to gather anything... or see anyone..before we take off?"

He said with out looking back at her. "I'm ready when ever he is. And no I don't need to gather anything at the moment... As for Nyima, I'll have to find her some other time. She didn't tell me where she worked at so it's pointless to try and find her. " as he answered he watched as a fairly fierce looking man was walking down the road with a cheery smile.

After speaking with Mizuki, Masuto headed back up the stairs and in to his room, off to gather any clothes and things that he'll need for traveling. If he would have known about this any amount of time beforehand, he might have been a little more prepared to move out and world for who knows how long. He decided to take only things that were absolutely necessary like clothes and stuffed them in to a somewhat small suitcase. He paused for a moment and took in every aspect of his room before taking his suitcase and slowly heading down the stairs, sad about how he didn't know how long it'd be before he could come home again.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, Masuto turned towards his mother and sister only seconds before they tightly wrapped him in a shared hug and sobbing about how different it will be without him there. He wanted to sob and cry with them about all of this, but he knew that he couldn't and this was something that had to be done. He would be safe, he had a team with him to help if he ever got in to trouble, and he knew that Zenji out of all of them out be the first to help. He was glad he wasn't alone for the journey, and when his family stopped and calmed down, they let go of the Avatar-to-be and forced out small and painful smiles, trying to tell him that they'll be okay and so will he. He nodded and turned to his team, smiling with a little confidence. "Well, we should get going. I don't want to attract attention and sit around.

[Kilune]

Mizuki looked to Zhou as he spoke. "I'm ready when ever he is. And no I don't need to gather anything at the moment... As for Nyima, I'll have to find her some other time. She didn't tell me where she worked at so it's pointless to try and find her. She frowned a bit at the last part.

"I'm sorry, Zhou." She walked over next to him, staring at him a long quiet moment before speaking again, "I know that you must want to spend more time with her, I wish that there was an address or something that could allow you at least one more quick visit before we leave.." She thought about Zenji for a moment and looked away from him.

"It looks like this journey will take us farther from what we want than we first thought.. And it seems as if Avatar Masuto isn't the only person that needs help.." She looked to the man walking down the street as well.

She stiffened slightly, realizing how open it was outside where they stood. "We'll have to be on guard. By any means, if you are prepared.. we should check with the others."

Zenji nodded to Masuto when he said it was time to leave. She looked to his mother and sister, Aki. She walked over to them and smiled, "We'll keep him safe... I promise. We'll bring him back as soon as we can, you have my honour as a proud Airbender. Seventeen years going strong," she looked over her shoulder at the door where Zhou and Mizuki stood, "Plus, we have some added muscles," she bowed to them both, "It was a pleasure meeting you."

She then turned and placed her hands on his shoulders, "Let's go find us an air bison."

She walked out the door and noticed Zhou was looking at something. She looked to see a man walking toward them. Looking at Masuto, she pursed her lips, "I think we've already attracted some attention."

Nyima smiled at Rayn when he pulled up in front of her house. Pulling her bag on over her shoulder, she walked down the steps and nodded, "I told you I would be waiting."

She walked over to his bike and hesitated a moment, she didn't know how this was going to be with him being mad at her. She sighed internally, that would be something she would have to clear up later. Maybe when they were stopped for the night. As of right now, the two of them had bigger fish to fry. Such as following the airbender, but only by so much that they wouldn't be seen. Sure that would be more so Rayn's job, since he'd be driving, but she had to keep an eye out to. Besides, with the wind, he'd hardly be able to hear her. She climbed onto the bike behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She looked at him, "Let's get this show on the road."

[Aerandir]

As he watched the man walk down the street. He could tell by his movements that the man was very in control of his movements, by his foot steps and arm movement he is a very confidant man The man was a fighter. From his dark skin he was from a water tribe.

She then said"We'll have to be on guard. By any means, if you are prepared.. we should check with the others."

Before he could say anything he looked over at Masuto.

Masuto turned to his team, smiling with a little confidence. "Well, we should get going. I don't want to attract attention and sit around.

Zenji then said "I think we've already attracted some attention." As she looked to the man as well.

He balled up his fist just in case... The man did look familiar.

Nyima smiled at Rayn when he pulled up in front of her house. Pulling her bag on over her shoulder, she walked down the steps and nodded, "I told you I would be waiting."

She hesitated a moment before She climbed onto the bike behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She looked at him, "Let's get this show on the road."

He played with the throttle fora moment before spinning around and driving off towards the avatars house. It only took them a few moments before he parked a few blocks away, catching sight of them but staying out of site. An art that he picked up Very well. He turned off his bike and positioned himself so they won't tip over.

"Now we see how "charming" Han Li is."

[Teancum]

After Han Li left Rayn and the Beautiful Nyima he quickly changed into some more durable clothes for the travel. He always loved the Challenge and when the opportunity came to to kill some airbenders it was a step up from just fighting. He enjoyed it. The thrill of the kill and the thrill of escaping was intoxicating. throwing a small travel bag together he quickly left and raced towards the home that Rayn had given him. Rayn, he heard LOTS about this guy. part of the reason he wanted to fight with the rouge benders, heard this guy was tougher than steel...there was a story the new recruits were told when he was stuck in a fight with 4 very skilled opponents, he rolled over a car and bended the metal off and wrapped himself in it in one motion, making a metal suit almost instantly.

As he made it to the corner of the street he slowed down to a walk, he was so conditioned already that he wasn't even breaking a sweat. He placed a big smile on his face for he was actually happy. Rayn promised him an un even fight. HE LOVED being out numbered. actually gave him a work out. All he had to do was act the hero for the battle and afterwards get the group to a secluded location and Kill the airbender and Avatar. or wait for the group to sneak attack them while they slept.

He noticed the group now outside about to leave. "Just in time." He said to himself as he gave a big wave to the group. He saw some northerner water tribes right off the start and smiled "oh goody another pretty girl to woo." he thought as he then said, "Hello! B E A Utifull morning isn't? I just heard the news!" He got to the bottom of the steps and places a hand to cover his mouth as if being discrete "Word spreads fast the new Avatar is here. which one is it?" He looked at them all with a Big smile on his face and continued. "Oh goodness me forgive me I am rude, My name is Han Li, I'm sure you've heard of me? Champion Fighter here offering my services to the Avatar. Though...." He looked at Zhou. "Seems you got a fierce one already. Northern tribe special forces it seems. Hard to miss they are huge. " He nodded, "I would love to spar with you some time sir. " He offered his hand and Zhou took it and he shook it while looking at the others. "May I join your group?"

Zenji watched the man as he approached them, looking at Mizuki and the Zhou. She kept her eyes on him as he mentioned being a fighter, a champion at that. She pursed her lips, "Han Li," she spoke the name as if she were testing it out, "Never heard of you..."

She looked back at Masuto, who stood in the house. She didn't know how he was feeling about all of these people calling him Avatar and offering to join them. She looked back at Han Li. How on earth did he find out? The only people who knew were in the house and had yet to leave. She glanced at Zhou and Mizuki, they hadn't been there when he was announced and the letter mentioned nothing about what or who Masuto was but they knew he was the Avatar on arrival at the house. She didn't like this. It would be wise for Rogue Benders to attack Masuto now, when he was weaker and didn't understand the full use of his abilities. She held her glider tightly in her hands before looking back at Masuto, "It is up to you if you want more help.. but we should go... Now..."

Rayn said nothing to her when she climbed on the bike. Man, he was furious about something. She pushed it out of her mind as he revved the engine before turning them around. Her arms tightened around him, to avoid being thrown off the back of the bike. She looked around the city as they drove the distance between her house and the new Avatar's. She jolted forward slightly when the stopped and looked at Rayn when he spoke about Han. He didn't like the guy, that she apparent. Although, she couldn't figure out why. That didn't solve why he was mad though he was pissed before they even spoke to Matsen. She kept her arms around him and rested her chin on his shoulder, looking ahead without having to look suspicious.

She watched as Han walked up to the house and spoke quietly, "He isn't as charming as he thinks he is...."

She stayed there, looking straight ahead as the blue haired girl looked back into the house, most likely at the Avatar.

Masuto wasn't sure about what to say, this was now the third person that was practically knocking on his door to help the avatar learn about the four elements, and now it was beginning to become quite the group. There was Zenji, Mizuki, Zhou, this new Han Li guy, and himself. The woman who had just offered to be his firebending teacher had suddenly just disappeared, so there was a new space. in all honesty, he didn't want to drag along any more people than was necessary on this journey, especially since he wanted to keep as low a profile as possible.

He turned his attention to Zenji when she recommended leaving, and she was right. This new person seemed to quite the high and mighty character, and what what he was capable of, but he did seem quite the talker. Masuto didn't know how quiet he could be, and he wasn't even sure how he knew about him being the avatar since it was only revealed minutes ago. "I... Um..." He failed the first time to speak and took a short breath. "What element do you bend? Right now we're lacking in an earth bender, and it'll be the second element that I- the avatar needs to learn." He didn't know the first thing about this guy, and he had the right to be cautious. With Mizuki and Zhou it was different, since they had orders straight from the north to help him learn water bending, but this guy just walked up and asked for answers.

Masuto also didn't trust this man with who the new avatar is, and wanted to know a few things before he could get comfortable. The young fire bender looked to his teammates with a cautious expression and glanced over to Han Li. After a short moment of looking at them, he returned his attention to this new person who had asked to join their group. "Do you bend an element? As I said, our team just needs and earth bender now, and then we'll be all good to go."

"Hello! B E A Utifull morning isn't? I just heard the news!" As the man got to the bottom of the steps and places a hand to cover his mouth as if being discrete "Word spreads fast the new Avatar is here. which one is it?" He looked at them all with a Big smile on his face and continued. "Oh goodness me forgive me I am rude, My name is Han Li, I'm sure you've heard of me? Champion Fighter here offering my services to the Avatar. Though...." the man looked up at him. "Seems you got a fierce one already. Northern tribe special forces it seems. Hard to miss they are huge. " He was impressed. the man Could tell just by looking at him. He had to be a good enough fighter to tell that off the bat. But he knew that had to be so with a man like Han Li. No he wasn't from the city but he did study other kingdoms and styles, something you kinda had to do when you were in his position to stay ready for anything. Han nodded, "I would love to spar with you some time sir. " He offered his hand and Zhou took it and he shook it. 'Perhaps one day" Zhou said to Han while he looked at the others. "May I join your group?"

He glanced at Zenji as she said, "Han Li," she spoke the name as if she were testing it out, "Never heard of you..." He was surprised she didn't as he was sure Han was as well. but she continued and he totally agreed with what she had to say/. "It is up to you if you want more help.. but we should go... Now..."

"I... Um..." He failed the first time to speak and took a short breath. "What element do you bend? Right now we're lacking in an earth bender, and it'll be the second element that I- the avatar needs to learn." Zhou was again surprised, this man was a legend in the Republic city as a champion. in a world of bending and martial arts its hard not to hear of someone of great skill. these two must have been living under some rocks.

The young fire bender looked to his teammates with a cautious expression and glanced over to Han Li. After a short moment of looking at them, he returned his attention to this new person who had asked to join their group. "Do you bend an element? As I said, our team just needs and earth bender now, and then we'll be all good to go."

Han took a step back with a shocking look on his face. "People that don't know me? Well that's Refreshing, a little weird but refreshing." He looked Masuto in the eye and said, "No I can't bend young Avatar. But I've fought the best of them, and I've learned from the masters of them. I know each style like the back of my hand, it's what I live for young master. I can teach you each style of bending if you so wished. though I can't bend it I know the movements which you benders can do the rest with. I am also a master of Chi flow... and if we were to run into some over powered Rouge benders I can nip them in the bud before they become a problem."

He waited a moment and continued touching on the concerned look on the boys face. "I know you must be wondering why I suddenly appeared" He rose his hands and bobbed his head side to side for a moment but continued with a smile. "Word spreads fast when you see the White Lotus ALL together in BROAD DAYLIGHT. that usually doesn't happen... and when you have connections like I do. I get news pretty darn quick."

He waited another moment and got serious. "Besides the little lady is right we better move on and get out of here. From what I've heard the Rouge benders have gotten pretty strong in this town despite what the police are doing. being lead by a dynamic duo that are pretty cold... and have resulted in the death of MANY Airbenders." he looked to Zenji. a moment before to Masuto again, "They are not going to like the Avatar raining down on their parade. No you would be a fool not to accept my help. If I know you are here they will know and they are going to descend like a pack of dogs on a three legged cat before you get anystronger. And four of you wont hold out..." He looked at Zhou. "He might." But your chances to have your backs covered with me?" He pointed a thumb at himself. "It's doubled."

Zhou looked at Masuto and said, "He is a great fighter. it would be a great asset to the group to have someone of his caliber."

Han smiled and said, "Thank you my good sir!"

"Despite him talking to much.... I think it's worth it."

Han only smiled more. "Yeah I talk to much when I'm excited....obviously. "

With that Zhou only sighed and looked to Mizuki who hadn't said anything

She watched as Han walked up to the house and spoke quietly, "He isn't as charming as he thinks he is...."

he looked back at her from the corner of his eye." He does have a mob of girls chase him all around...." Though he was slightly glad she said that. He would never say it but he cared deeply for her and over the years of how close they gotten he did get jealous from time to time with her and other guys. and with what happened earlier Zhou couldn't help but get even more jealous and mad.

As they watched though he sighed and shook his head mentally She already knew he was mad... And He didn't want to bring it up why he was. And he knew she would ask more and more till she got it out of him. So despite what he felt he pushed his anger down and away said softly, "I never thought I'd be hunting down the Avatar and his group....Sometimes this seems like we are fighting an uphill battle we cant win...and I'm getting tired of it..."

Zenji's hand tightened further around her glider as the man look at her at the mention of airbenders. He was right with the White Lotus kind of giving it away but how had he known that she was an airbender? She wasn't dressed like one and even her glider wasn't a common thing for Airbenders to have anymore. The device was kind of redundant now with planes and helicopters. Sure, they were a lot easier but people preferred to use the machines or the bison, Zenji was one of the few who remained using a glider. Zenji wasn't sure how he felt about this guy but from what Zhou and him were saying, he would help their team greatly. She would trust him for now. She nodded to him when he stated that he agreed with her. She moved away from Masuto's door. She looked back at the boy before fiddled with her glider a little, "Should I meet you there? I'll be able to get there faster and see if I can find Diki... My bison."

Nyima looked at Rayn as he spoke of getting tired of the uphill battle. She squeezed her arms around him and smiled, "Come on, Old Man, you still got some fight in ya. Hunting the Avatar and the airbender," she adding not wanting to even hint at the fact they would also be hunting her brother, "Should make you excited. It'll be a win for the Rogue Benders if we pull it off."

She grinned at him before she looked back to the group of people in front of the house. She spoke quietly next to his ear, "Besides... The days that we feel as if we are losing make the days we're are on top all the better."

She looked at the airbender as she stepped away from the door, it seem they were going to head out. She pursed her lips as a thought struck her, "What if they fly... How'd we follow them then?"

[pyroman]

Masuto was a little disappointed to hear that Han wasn't and Earth Bender. Although he didn't really want anyone else on the team, he wasn't going to refuse to him the opportunity to travel along with it. He then looked to Zenji and was actually a little nervous about his question. "Hey Zenji..." He started off, still unsure. "Would it be alright if I tagged along? I don't think it's safe for you to head out on your own, especially now thanks to someone everyone on the black knows your and air bender.." He wasn't sure what her answer would be, but he didn't want her to go by herself, it was just too dangerous as he saw it.

Zhou watched as zenji nodded to Han when he stated that he agreed with her. She moved away from Masuto's door. She looked back at the boy before fiddled with her glider a little, "Should I meet you there? I'll be able to get there faster and see if I can find Diki... My bison." Zhou thought best if they would stick together, if Han was right then it wouldn't be safe for her to be alone. Before he could say anything he looked at Masuto was a little disappointed to hear that Han wasn't and Earth Bender."Hey Zenji..." He started off, still unsure. "Would it be alright if I tagged along? I don't think it's safe for you to head out on your own, especially now thanks to someone everyone on the black knows your and air bender.."

Han growled to himself as he was ignored by the little twirp and saw that he was disappointed. He then saw they were weary when he looked at the Airbender when he mentioned them... are they really that Naïve? "Not everyone knows she is an airbender... I only deduced it when you said all you needed in the party was an earth bender..."He motioned to Zhou, "From the water tribe and is all decked out for war..." he then motioned to Mizuki, "Only other water tribe here besides me..." Then to the Airbender..." Only other person in the group who referred to you to make the decision. So he must be the Airbender. "

Zhou looked at him, he had caught on too that they were making it obvious and yet they thought they didn't, he sighed and said, " what ever be the case of if she is known to be an airbender, she is safe. I don't intend on letting anyone get hurt... so at that we should stick together... from what I've heard the rouge benders tend to use numbers to win their battles. so more of us the better. He turned and started down the steps. "Lets be off... "

Rayn felt Niyma squeeze her arms around him, "Come on, Old Man, you still got some fight in ya. Hunting the Avatar and the airbender, Should make you excited. It'll be a win for the Rogue Benders if we pull it off."

He thought about it... yes the Avatar was young...but Avatar Ang was only ten or so when he defeated the Fire nations emperor. This one looked in his early teens. besides wasn't the Avatar the one to bring balance to the world?

"Besides... The days that we feel as if we are losing make the days we're are on top all the better." after a moment "What if they fly... How'd we follow them then?"

Glancing back at her, even though he only saw her slightly, "I have friends who will lend us a ride when needed." He watched as the group was still talking, it seemed Han was not getting in as easy as he thought he would for a smooth talker... but he seemed in when Zhou began to walk down the steps. He shifted his weight and readied himself to follow...it would be awkward with a bike, but he could manage it.

Zenji looked at Masuto when he asked to join her. She was about to say it would be best her for her to go alone as flying over to the island was ultimately the best route to get there and although fire benders could propel themselves into the air, flying that distance would only slow her down in the end. However, she never got a word out before Han was explaining that not everyone knew she was an airbender and he had only figured it out through their conversation. She nodded her head slowly and opened her mouth again to reject Masuto's offer when Zhou walked away from the house and toward her saying that they weren't going to split up. She sighed and lowered her head slightly, she just wanted to get out of the city as fast as possible. Finding and taking a boat that would take them into the middle of a crime scene was going to prove increasingly difficult. If she could find Diki on her own and fly her to the harbour, it might attract attention but at least they would get out of there in record time. The rest of the team, however, seemed to be completely against that.

She leaned against her glider and sighed, "Well, let's go then... We'll have to find someone to take us to Air Temple Island... which is going to be hard enough with it being under... investigation right now," She bit her lip slightly, "And Han here got his information for someone and I'm sure he is not the only person they are telling."

She moved her glider on her shoulders and hung her arms over it, "Let's go," No more standing around, they needed to start moving and the more they stood there the sooner people were going to start figuring things out. She slowly started to move towards the docks at a slow pace to allow everyone to easily follow behind her.

Nyima looked at him and feigned shock, "You have friends other than me! It is a miracle," she laughed a little and rested her head against his as they sat watching the group. When she watched Zhou walk toward the airbender, who had already stepped away from the group, she picked her feet off the ground. She kept her eyes on them, watching as the airbender slowly started to walk away, she wondered slightly if the rest were supposed to follow. Her hands moved hands slightly as she grabbed his shirt, "She's going with them right?" She relaxed slightly when the rest followed. She grinned and released his shirt from his hands, "Oh good," she looked at Rayn, "Things are seeming to have a good start...."

"Actually.." Masuto spoke up as the group began to move. He counted head and looked around. He was getting a plan that would reduce the time spent in Republic city. As much as he wanted to stay with Zenji, his own plan was just as important. He stood still and thought for a moment on the best way to divide the team into two. They had himself, Zenji, Mizuki, Zhou, and now Han. He figured that since very few people knew about him as the avatar, and a few more knew about the ongoing air bender purge, he was going to split the group into two and three people. "I need to go somewhere important right now and I think that if we split up we'll spend less time here and we can get a move on." He looked over at Han to continue. "You'll be going with me to act as extra muscle, and Kuei will be going with us as well." He then turned to the rest of them. "Zhou and Mizuki will stay with you, Zenji, while you go and find your bison." He paused to think about it. Would it really be the best idea to split up? It might take some more time but at least they would be safer together. He shook his head. "Never mind." He said as he started to walk. "Let's go get your bison, then we can worry about the library later."
