Damien

"Owwwwwww." Damien groaned as he slowly came into consciousness on the ground in front of the Reformist building. . . wait, what? Damien slowly got himself up, feeling not at all okay after Insomnium's rash, though considering the sequence of events, rather needed use of Apocalypse. The emptiness he felt was very unsettling, as he had become so used to having the flow of energy rushing through his system. Oh well, he had 3 days to recover, and plenty of time o kill, so it was time to focus on the present situation, why the hell was he in front of this building. The answer,a dog, by the looks of things, and it seemed to be in pretty bad shape too. He gently removed his leg from it's jaws and stood himself up, cracking his neck as he did so.

Once he was sure nothing was broken, he then picked the dog up, which was hard because the fucker was heavy, but Damien didn't complain. The mutt had dragged him away from the hellhole that was New Sun Plaza to here while covered in broken shards of glass, the very least he could do was help it get inside. ONce he got inside he saw Max, the guy that Damien was convinced had the Meta power of looking like perfect no matter what. Seriously, nobody looked that good, nobody. Damien had seen him turn a straight man gay by saying 5 words to the guy. . . and he wasn't even trying too! Max tried to deny it, but Damien would never be dissauded from his assured belief.

"Hey Adonis, I got an injured Hero dog that needs some medical attention. I know this isn't a vet, but considering he saved my life, can we cut him some slack, he's hurt pretty bad."

Spectrum was taken a bit off guard when Blink suddenly teleported them away from the building where they had engaged in combat with Jaden and watched as Constantine explained to them about a possible alien threat. He was taken a back a bit in reaction to the news, he had watched his share of sci-fi movies, but this was out there. Well at least it was a probable explanation to the virus that created metahumans.

"If these aliens are planning to possibly harvest us then what plans do we have?" he asked Constantine, things were starting to get strange and he wondered how this revelation would affect the world as they knew it.

"I already said my plan," said Constantine, "in the absence of Eden, to awaken Gia the Forgotten," he spoke as he kept walking away, before looking back.

"You don't know who Gia the Forgotten is, do you?" the blond-haired, blue-eyed man said to Spectrum. "She is the sister of the previous Enemy of the World, Director David Michael Taylor of Aperture, with the ability to absorb the powers and natural abilities of whatever DNA sample she has - permanently. It's going to be a risk to awaken her, but we have no other choice, unless the Aliens decide to use means other than invasion of acquiring Metahumans." Like threaten/convince the Governments of the World to hand over their Metas; that cannot be discounted.

"Are you sure you can tell him that?" said Royal. "That rainbow guy doesn't look like the brightest bulb in the drawer."

"Also," said Blink, "you...umm...I think you need to apologize to Cedric," he said in a pitch and tone that was much higher than a normal voice, but not high enough to count as a shout.

"All right," spoke Constantine, "Spectrum, Owlman, take my apologies to Cedie for my threats."

Cindy Wade's Womb

As Cindy Wade flash-thought pure information into his head, books and manuals and videos that would help him to survive in the wider world, as well as use his powers effectively, Eden, his conciousness awoken by Cindy's powers and his own, began making his own plans, setting his own agenda, resisting all attempts by Cindy to indoctrinate him as an embryo.

Before he was out of the womb, he had already decided to ditch Cindy, The Prophets, and Ruby. Before he was out of the womb, he had decided that he wanted to be part of the Reformists, despite their problems. Before he was out of the womb, he had already decided on his path in life, which was to seek out a way to make the world a better place, improving it instead of wanting it to burn.

So he waited...and waited...and plotted.

Cer had spent all afternoon on edge, she could feel a large concentration of meta energy somewhere. A fight no doubt, making it very hard to focus. Odds were her new employers were involved which meant there was a chance she would be called in and expected to fight. If she was unlucky, they would ask her to kill someone. Just the thought of being ordered to do such a thing made her feel sick, she couldn't focus on what she was doing to save her life. It would be so much easier to tell them but she didn't want them to keep her on the sidelines because she wouldn't commit a 'necessary evil.' She was going to have to trust that if she gave it to them straight that they wouldn't judge her. The drive to the HQ was excruciating, Cer felt less and less confident with every second. By the time she got there she had to take a couple minuets to calm herself down. If she stared by talking about Jackson's training she could buy herself time to gain confidence and relax because she wasn't really feeling better by sitting out in her car.

Cedric, after making his judgement, began to head for the meeting rooms. Inside, he felt like his heart had turned to ash; this day had been a day of setbacks for him. However, he was not going to give in to Ruby's psychopathic threats. No, Ruby was going to see his face again, and it would be sooner than she thought. Pressing a button in the meeting room, holographic screens showing his now-healed babyface would show up all over the city, saying:

"Not a fucking chance, you sociopathic asshole," he spoke, swearing for the first time in ages, "you do not get to dictate threats to me, you terrorist. I do whatever I want, when I want, for whatever Ideals I embrace. You think yourself so badass because you have an orbital gun?" Cedric said with contempt. "Well, my response will be coming shortly." He then pinged Eli's communicator (After turning off the holographic screens, of course).

"Knock that damned thing - the THOR Orbital Gun - out of the sky. We'll show her what it means to threaten us."

Cer had barely gotten out of her car when the holograms popped up. Eyes glued to them she watched with something between pity and understanding, she had done the research on Cedric and this was certainly different. She pushed down the urge to leave, if she didn't get this out of the way now she'd never do it. With calm thoughts and the occasional deep breath Cer found herself directed to Cedric's office, there was slight hesitation as she knocked on the door. Admittedly, if he didn't end up answering she wouldn't be upset about it but it would mean going through the whole process again, an idea she did not like.

The doors opened for her, and frantic staff would guide her to the meeting room, where Cedric waited. He would then speak:

"Cer Kytel, do not be afraid. The skirmish at New Sun Tower...it's over. Over and a mutual loss to both the Underground Movement and the Refomrist Council. We have lost our objectives...but not unbowed."

The fighting had been her inital concern but now standing in front of him and knowing that either the media had portrayed him wrong or he had changed made her uneasy. She had sat around all day while the people she was supposed to support fought, and lost.

"Then it's likely that the skirmish today won't be the last, this is the start of some kind of war, isn't it?" She paused, not daring to look him in the eyes, "War or not, I need you to promise me two things. I know, being the a new member, I have no right to ask you for anything but please take it into consideration." The words almost caught in her throat, the first she had planned for but what possesed her to add on something else. "I do not kill and I would hurt myself before I tried to kill another person. Evil or good, there is no amount of right that I could have that would make it ok to kill someone. Don't mistake this for weakness but please be aware of it. Secondly, please be careful to remember who you are and what you stand for. I know how it sounds and I apologize for my insubordination but its still very important to not only me but a lot of those normal people out there." After she finished speaking she couldn't help but hold her breath, this was a bad time to bring this up but she'd done it anyway, how reckless.

"I will never ask you to kill someone you don't want to kill," said Cedric in a slightly frosty tone of voice. "I do not play around with other people's loyalty; when you give trust, said trust must be repaid," the 20-year old obviously talking about a recent wound. "As for your second request..." Cedric glared at her for a brief second, "who do you think I am? Do you think that just because my heart's turned to ash, that I'm going to give up on the quest I've pursued for five years? No, my ideals are unchanged; justice and peace and coexistence for all, Metahuman and Normal. What's changed is the tactics that I - not you, I - are going to use to achieve that coexistence; kid gloves are no longer an option."

Cer expected no less, this had been a bad time to discuss anything but he wasn't kicking her out so there was a bit of a positive. She nodded at him, afraid a bittersweet smile would appear if she tried to talk. Somewhere in her mind she realized 'kid gloves' and mercy were more similar than she wanted them to be.

"Yes Sir, thank you for listening. I would like to let you know that training with Jackson has been going smoothly but he has a serious attitude problem. I'm planning to deal with it as I see fit but I'd like your input, since you plan on adopting him."

"Jackson?" said Cedric, smiling, "what he needs is a combination of carrot and stick, with said stick being padded in order to avoid reminding him of his torture at JanusCorp. I think that punishing him by forcing him to watch Teletubbies would be a start, if you're willing to countenance that."

Teletubbies sounded vaugely familiar, her cultural references were lacking but by the name it sounded like a kids show. "That's not a half bad idea, until his attitude is in check we will not be doing any 'real' training. Just Teletubbies and others like it." Cer nodded, smiling faintly. This little conversation had given her a lot to think about, at least she could go home knowing that things were running smoothly for now, though it would only be a matter of time before something else went wrong.

Eli heard the ping of a comuintactor it figured it had something to do with whatever caused that dipshit boy to run out of the girls room. He tried to make head or tails of it but at least the kid seemed to have found a pair of balls. "Baby steps." Eli thought to himself. "Kid first of all, what the shit are you talking about? Second what gun? And who the Holy Fuck is us? I'm a contractor! "Eli retorted.

"Well Shit dick I'll meet in the girls appartment in two hours. I got work that needs tending to."Eli said to Nate as he walked away.

"You should have burned Ruby to ashes in Aperture," he then told Eli about Ruby's betrayal, how she had blown up New Sun Tower, then hijacked the THOR Orbital Gun Network above the world, then sent him a really infuriating message. And, of course, how Cindy Wade seemed to be missing from the Underground Movement and Reformist Council alike.

"As for who the Holy Fuck is Us?" said Cedric, "all right, a more accurate term is me, but that sounds self-centred. Either way, the US Government is going to dismantle the THOR systems anyway; let's just make sure that the one immidiately above LA goes up in a blaze of fireworks." Cedric then smiled. "Besides, don't tell me you never wanted to blast something from orbit."

The 20-year old was evidently infuriated that he had been made to look like a fool, not once, but twice - Jackson's prank didn't count. He was also infuriated that he didn't get Cindy and Eden, the latter whom he already planned to be playmates with Jackson and Ann. True, this was a little petty, but he hadn't indulged in that emotion for years.

"How the fuck do you expect me to hit something that I can't even see? I don't even know if I can burn that far. That's miles away. Now though.... Now I need to know if I can. Send someone to the roof with laser pointer. I'll take care of the rest." This seemed out of the realm of possibility even for someone like Eli. That hasn't stopped him before and wouldn't stop him now. Worst he could do was take out half of LA. A small price to pay in his eyes.

"Cer," said Cedric, "can you be the one to do this?"

Eli made his way to the roof. During his time away over the last four years. He had gotten stronger and he knew it, he had breached an S class level and was proud of it. The real question had become just how strong was that? His control over his powers was refined to an almost scary level. He had even reached a level that he couldn't control, a level of eruption that was scary even to him. This was a level that could hurt even himself. He had only gotten to play around with it once or twice yet even that was enough to scare off from using. Something like this was a rare chance to let loose and see just how powerful this level was

Apparently it was not time for her to leave yet because she had to laser point at something she couldn't see either. "Yes Sir, I don't know what good that will do but I'll do it." She quickly followed after Eli because she wasn't confident in her ability to find the roof on her own. "I don't like this plan but I'll play along, tell me what you need the laser pointer to do." Cer almost cringed when she realized that, since she had forgotten a real laser pointer, she would have to be the laser pointer. She had just refered to herself as a laser pointer, a god dammed laser pointer.

"Well can you hit what you can't see? I never have been able to.... I don't even know if I can hit this target without taking a foot off the sea level. .. " Eli said gazing at the sky. It was a long way to throw anything he even had doubts of its possibility." Before I start this better tell me what meta powers you have and where you wanna be buried when this goes South. " Eli let out a heavy sigh and erupted in his lowest form. It was gonna take a little time to gather the power he needed. Maybe not, maybe he was just worried about not being able to do it.

Cer held in a laugh "I can try but it won't be easy, I'm an energy manipulator. I can feel where my energy is going so hopefully I'll know when I hit it but a blast big enough to destroy it would be risky for me, my reserves aren't at full capacity." She almost went on but he cut her off.

"Bitch, Imma about to try and throw a small Sun into that G-d damn sky! I need something better than I hope I get it right..." Eli snapped angerily, hope or almost wasn't enough right now. If something went wrong he was going to single handedly be responable for the largest single act of terrorism.

She nearly growled at him, "What I was trying to say was I dont have enough energy to hit that thing down [i]and[/a] protect the city from fallout. I didn't get a chance though because I was interupted, I'll be dammed if I let anyone in this city die because of a risky plan. The laser pointer thing is going to be hard because If I miss and it aims at an asteroid or planet you're going to be throwing that sun at a planet. Just imagine how many childhoods will be runined becuase we blasted away part of mars or venus or destroyed pluto." She thought for a moment, "This thing is metal so when my energy hits it, it will feel different than a planet or other astral body would so the odds are in our favor. I get that you're nervous but you dont have to be an asshole about it." She held up a palm an let a thin white beam travel out into the sky and eventually space. Closing her eyes she shited the beam around until she felt signal of metal, "I found it, hurry before it moves or something."

Eli deeply exhaled as his body changed form his low leve orange to a deep red. Slowly as his body ranged all of the color spectrum, with each shift his body grew in heat and power. The final level showed as brilliant bright light, white and pure. As his body changed and his levels increased Eli started lifting off the ground. At the time of his final form he could the control slipping away from him. This was either going to go exactly as planned or he was going to kill a few million people, there was no real in between.

Eli slowly started moving all that his eruption was, every bit of its power into the palms of his hands. As two sphears started to form, his body slowly retuned to normal. Each were about the size of a softball. Both glowed with brilliant and beautifull colors. Looking at them was one of the most shockingly beautiful things Eli had ever seen. It was almost like in his hands he held two bright glowing Nebulas in his hands. Its power was so strong, He had done something like this before but never to this extent. Even Eli who had become immune to the effects of fire and heat could feel the heat coming from the sphears and its horrible powers of destrution.

"Well, let see if G-d still loves us." With that Eli blasted off as hard as he could. At his top speed Eli threw the sphear in his left hand. Eli was only a few hundred meters above ground, he knew without a doubt that he needed more power to make this work. Still he was extremely impressed and happy to see that these orbs could fly so high without much effort . Eli flew after the orbs and the second he could get to the one flying he merged both of them into an orb the size of a vollyball. With the volleyball sized orb in his hands Eli rotated on an axis. Gaining power and speed Eli relased the orb at just the right moment to send it flying. By the time he had let it go he was easily a couple thousand meters in the air.

Cer could feel the immense power Eli was giving off, she had shilded herself from the scorching heat but she still felt as if she was burning. She kept her eyes shut, she couldn't afford any more distraction. It was all she could do to keep from passing out, Eli's distance wasn't really helping she still felt the pressure of his power. She felt like she was suffocating and in some ways she was. Cer had always been very recptive to others powers, Avarice thived on it but Cer did not. She got lucky and most of the pressure grew distant as Eli sent off the orb. "Can I stop being the laser pointer? I need to be ready for possible debris." She called out to him, her eyes were open now but she refused to look at what he had just released into the atmosphere.

Eli rechaged for a second, less powerful attempt. These new orbs were the size of baseballs and took almost no time to make. He had no idea how powerful they were. Let a lone the ones he just sent into space. He was over extending himself and he knew it but he needed to be ready for anything. When he heard they grey haired chick call out Eli. Eli let himself fall backwards making sure to never take his eyes off the white beam acting his laser pointer. He could easly direct his blast but he still needed to have a reference point to send it to. Just before he landed Eli smiled. Anyone with decent eyes could see sometihng falling from the skys. For all he knew Eli just hit the international space station, but he just fucking took out something from outter G-d damned space.

"Yeah, you can stop now." Eli said with a small shit eating grin. Off in the distance from Reformists HQ roof top Eli could easily see the ocean. It would be a shame to waste such power so Eli threw both of them, one after another without a second thought. Eli turned and to walk into the build entrence. "Boom, goes the dynamte." Eli said as he slapped the the top part of the door frame and almost like it was in concert with the ocean, the ocean exploded into mighty geysers. Before the water fell he was already too far inside to be seen.

Cer had to admit she was slightly appaled when he threw the orbs into the ocean but that didn't stop her from noticing that while the metal she had been focusing on was gone there was something strange behind it. It resonated with an energy she had never felt but before she could even think twice it was gone. Maybe she was just overstressed and imagining things, that was an explanation she could deal with right now. Eyes scanning the city for any falling objects, she found that most of it was burned up in the fall and only a few dangerous pieces made it close enough to be deflected. They had gotten amazingly lucky, which made Cer uneasy, luck never lasted long.

With his work all done and complete sense of accomplishment. Eli set out to do what he planned in the first place. Break into, and eat all of Olivia's food. He knew better, but it's hard not to feel invincible when you just did what Eli had. Still just the same Eli turned the doorknob and noted it was locked. After all he had done today Elijah was not gonna be stymied by lock and key. With a heated hand Elijah pushed the door open and walked inside. Figuring why not Eli took off his boots and vest and simply made himself at home.

"In time, Ms Mahroug. There is a time and place for everything." Isaac said, shaking her off.
He began walking down the tunnel and stopped in the middle of his monsters, who were busy checking each other out for the first time, and began staring down the tunnel. Aperture labs was where the tunnel led.

Isaac felt a certain kinship with Aperture labs. They were a government-backed mega corporation who's biological and technological weaponry no doubt went a long way to garner approval with the government. When it came to light that Aperture labs ignored human rights and morality for the pursuit of science, the government inevitably bowed out of it and destroyed aperture with all their might. Isaac felt a certain amount of familiarity with his methods and those of Aperture's science department. If it was him, though, he wouldn't have turned it into a mega-corporation, but that part didn't matter. More room for underground movement. They'd need some man-power to make the derelict corporation building liveable, but he had man-power. Genetically modified beasts, the hunters and the dragons. It would do, for now.

The problem was, Ruby had made off with Cindy and Sebastian had seemingly run away. It annoyed Isaac. Things weren't going to plan. He would have to modify the plan he'd made and refined for months. It was enough to make him a bit angry.

The monsters began bickering and snapping at each other, their animal instincts flaring up. The noise grew louder and it began to filter into Isaac's head. Animal instincts would have to be removed, the territorial aspect had to be completely destroyed... He was starting a list of all the work he had to do, and it didn't look fun. The noise grew clamorous as the beasts began throwing themselves at each other and baring their fangs. The tunnel echoed with their roars and screeches.

Isaac glared at the beasts. It was enough that his work was piling up, but this noise was making him angry. The beasts stopped bickering, shuffling uneasily, backing away under his gaze. Isaac lifted his hand slowly and snapped his fingers. His beasts shuffled to the walls of the tunnel and bowed down, facing the middle. A path was opened through the beasts and into the dark depths of the escape tunnel.

"A shame Sebastian wouldn't stay with us for too long." Isaac remarked. "An oversight on my part... I didn't expect him to stay loyal for 2 whole weeks, but neither did I expect him to leave straight away."
Isaac adjusted his glasses and noted again that he'd have to get new ones soon. Another thing to add to the list.
"Well then." He said, turning to the group. "Shall we go?"

"Quite a show" came a voice from a nearby room. Nate wandered out from Olivia's bedroom as Eli began to make himself comfortable. He had made his way here while Eli was busy with his target practice. He had used the time to snoop around Olivia's place. Flipping through her magazines, raiding her fridge and even jumping on her bed for a moment or two. Anyone who had seen him would think him an immature jackass and, to an extent, he was. But he had also used his snooping to get a better picture on who this Olivia person was. What kind of idiot walked into the underground movement's base and confronted the high and mighty Isabella Lancaster and expected to come out without a scratch. Well Olivia had certainly come out with more than a scratch. She had come out with a bullet wound and a war.

That kind of thing worried Nate. Sure, he had been reckless in the past but never when something truly important was on the line. But recklessness seemed to be quite the trend around here. First Olivia wanders into the dragons den and then Cedric follows her and almost gets himself killed. He hated to admit it but his first impressions of the reformists weren't great. But then he had never really been fond of those in power.

Tossing an apple from hand to hand, Nate addressed Eli with a smile. "This place is great" he said "There's alarms going off and people fighting, anger and angst and fiery weirdos shooting things out of the sky" He motioned with his fingers like he was a gunslinger and added "Who needs a movie!?" After taking a bite from his apple, he said with a full mouth "And you should see some of the things the princess has in there" He motioned over his shoulder with a thumb and let out a small laugh. He knew there would be hell to pay if anyone found out he had been snooping but it had been worth it. For sheer entertainment value alone.

"Eva a bottle and some glasses my dear lady, tonight I make a feast. I have done what no one else has ever done before. Blown shit up in space." Eli proclaimed. Still impressed with his own actions.

"You should be proud seeing as that was between six and twelve hundreds miles." Eva responded as she brung the requested items and even poured a glass or two.

Eli heard Nates comment and laughed when he realized just how right he was. Within a week of him returning to L.A. Eli had seemingly turned this place into the Wild Wild West. "Find anything good back there?" Eli asked as he took a drink from his glass.

Nate rocked his head from side to side for a moment, weighing his answer before saying "Oh I'm sure Ms Delacroix thinks it's good but she's never met me." It may have been a crass statement but Nate was never lacking in personal confidence. Some would even call him arrogant. Obnoxiously so. As he passed Eli and Eva, Nate winked at the young woman and then in one sweeping movement spun around and dropped down onto Olivia's couch in a lying position.

"So the boss man's pretty pissed, huh?" he asked "Understandable though. He's had a hard day....Someone should send him a fruit basket". Nate did feel genuinely bad for Cedric. He had been trying to do the right thing. Rescue a woman and her unborn child. Smack around some creepy bad guys. The problem was the reckless arrogance he had tried to do it with. It was then that a thought occurred to him. He had been hired to train a kid...Why not two kids? Maybe he could teach Cedric some better fighting moves himself. Maybe then he wouldn't get pwned by any more little girls.

Eli smiled when he sat back. "You didn't find shit back there. Maybe some lacy little number. Maybe something that shows a little too much skin but that's it. As for the kid. He's got it coming." Eli took another small drink before continuing on. "Boys supposed to a genius. For someone alleged to be so smart sure does make a lot of dumbass decisions. He goes pokin a bear and gets surprised when the bear bites back... I take it you were in the military. Saw the way you were standing and walking when the dumbass was telling you about me."

Eva Adams rolled her eyes at the both of the. One for his arrogance, the other for his crass speak. She walked over to the fridge to make sure there enough food for whatever Eli had planned. She might not have liked but it was her job.

Puffing her cheeks, Camille was slightly ticked off by Isaac's denial of her most recent request, despite her greatest endeavors to seduce his pity. He had then bailed, as usual, away from Camille's need for attention, which just irritated her even more.

"Did he just... Pull a Professor Oak on me?!"

She wasn't happy, that's for sure, so she turned her head to Isabella, unsure as to what she should do.

Isabella smiled indulgently, and said:

"Camille, if you want, I can send Vince to find Sebastian with you; he can be...persuasive. Plus, there are few counters to Vince's power; even I have to constantly use biomancy to try and resist his influence. Actually, Camille, perhaps you would be a good influence on Vince, and he on you." He needs to be taught that contempt for normal humans cannot be based on visceral hatred and genuine greivances; rather, it should be casual and based on the fact that you feel pleasure while doing it.

"One more thing," she said, "have you noticed Patel behind us?"

"Vince? O-oh..." Camille had just remembered who he was, some pretty boy she couldn't help but react all teeny about. A drop of drool slid down from her lip to her chin as she daydreamed for a second.

"Whaaaa erm yes yes! I'll team up with him! Bien sûr!" she replied just before Isabella had mentioned something Camille hadn't heard in a while, something awful. She turned just a bit to take a slight glimpse as to what Isabella was mentioning, hpoing that it wasn't that thing. She swallowed her confidence as she saw a hooded figure with a wite cloth hiding the entirety of its body, kept together only by three golde buttons. Its steps were so light and quiet that no one apart from Isabella had heard it. Camille was frightened, her eyes widened just a bit in reaction to Patel's random appearance.

The monster was indeed walking at a rather snail pace, but it eventually caught up to Isabella, never saying a single word. No one could see what was hidden under the hood, only darkness as thick as the killing intent that oozed out of its intimidating silhouette.

"Patel here is the creation I'm most proud of, besides Eden," spoke Isabella. "However, he is also mentally disabled, and this quality was not good for the battle a few hours ago. In such close quarters, he could have done us in as collateral damage, but enough about that. After this, the kid gloves are coming off, and I'm using him against the Reformists and...others."

"Won't Sebastian be flustered to meet him; not even he would know of this secret weapon," the woman ended her small speech.

Camille's forehead was warm and slowly covered in sweat as she couldn't keep her stare off of Patel's slim figure. That thing was scary, at least to her since she was aware of its potential, that and whatever was behind that cloth would most likely not give her any good dreams. She nodded.

"... Is Patty coming with Vince and moi or...?" she asked, worried that she'd have to bring along that creature. It didn't reply whatsoever to what any of them could say, it kept silent and awaited Lancaster's orders like the good creation it was.

"No, but you will take Sebastian to meet him," spoke Isabella to Camille. "And, if Sebby continues to be especially disobedient, have Patel 'demonstrate' its capabilities on him."

"Alright. Mama, I'm going out the front exit, can Vince meet me there?" she had said just after taking a small breath to recompose herself. In a way, the idea of having Sebastian confront something a lot more awful than he was pleased Camille in a way. She awaited confirmation.

"Done," said Isabella, who continued on her way.

Camille nodded and went the opposite way, back to the chaos while the rest followed the tunnel. Luckily she knew where the next lair would be. Solf Patel followed its master obediantly, step by step at its own slow pace without a word from its part. That silent, however, would end exactly fifteen meters away from the tunnel's entrance. There, an eerie sound would echo through the tunnel, the origin being Patel but anyone nearby would hear it as though it were whispers uttered right next to their ear. The sounds made absolutely no sense, complete gibberish, but the ominous tone it held would make any primitive instinct react in absolute fear. In reaction to the sounds, the walls of the tunnel started to distort and compress against eachother to close off the entrance. This would be done every fifteen meters, the walls would close down and contorted in various ways to keep the sealing durable.

Isabella, meanwhile, sent a text to Vince:

"Meet Camille in the outskirts of LA. I have a job for you; it concerns an old enemy."

TL;DR - Isabella sends Camille and Vince to pursue Sebastian, while at the same time introducing Patel to the former.

Nate let out a long breath from his nose as Eli brought up his military service. "Well fancy that, Opie. You're not as dumb as you look" he said. He failed to elaborate on the subject though. Truth be told, it was a sore subject for Nate. He had pictured himself spending a lot more years in the military. He had planned on a career full of medals and promotions. General Hunter. That was the plan. But that all gone down the drain and here he was...A self defence coach. This was not where he had seen his life going.

He tossed his apple up into the air, catching it over and over as he changed the subject "So what exactly is your plan here, Opie? Are you just going to eat all of this poor gals food? Drink all her wine? Maybe leave the toilet seat up?"

Vince could have sworn there was a reason he should have woken up earlier today but he didn't realize until he checked the news and that boy wonder, Cedric, appeared all over the city spewing nonsense to his ears. He was sorry he hadn't been there to fight against the Heroes but it likely wouldn't have gone well for him. There were some people that a head to head face off would mean certain death for him.

Oddly enough that fight wasn't the most exciting thing going on in Vince's world. Cer was in town and she hadn't found the camera he stationed in the pent house to monitor it, she was getting rusty. The idea of confronting her was laughable so he simply ignored it, she wasn't really a threat right now but he wanted them to talk to her before they had to fight each other or something. There was also the text from Isabella asking him to meet Camille which didn't sound super fun but he wasn't so lawless that he would ignore a direct order. He found himself wondering who the old enemy could be. Hopefully just one of the Movement's and not his own.

Vince lived in a repurposed warehouse, it was nice because he didn't have to reign in his powers to keep people from following him like lost puppies or something. Plus it was very spacious, he had room for whatever he wanted and more. He had a spacious garage, a library that any book lover would die for, and a game room that came in handy whenever he got tired of reading. However, he was far away from most things and the outskirts Isabella was talking about were especially far. Too bad he couldn't fly.

-A good twenty minuets later-

He pulled up by Camille, annoyed with traffic he forced a much calmer manner on himself. He got out of the Car, offering a hand to Camille before shaking his head and muttering sorry, she could see that as him trying to use his powers which was rude of him. "I hope you don't take that as a sign of bad intent. I'm not entirely sure what we're doing but I can't wait for you to fill me in, assuming you know what this is about." He smiled using some natural charm, he honestly felt bad for her, rumor had it that she couldn't age past 16 so he refrained from using any kind of power. Despite his pity, he still found her childishness annoying, hopefully she'd try to be a bit more grown up this time around.

Eli filled his glass and downed before refilling it. "Too much of anything is bad but too much whiskey isn't enough... Mark Twain." Eli said as he got up and walked into the kitchen. "I plan on eating her food, and trying to have a nice evening. Beyond that who am I to stand in the way of fate."

Eli stared to rifle through what food was in the kitchen. He found a meal fit for a king, more than one if he was truth. The fact that he was again doing something he was against wasn't lost on him. It just made this all the more funny. With that he pulled out a stolen smart phone he got when no one was looking. One belonging to the very person who's apartment he and his new found buddy were inhabitants of. He played some music some classical music, starting with something classic. It was from there every step and motion he made had more than little funk to it. Who was he to denie the beat of the music.

Fire was a wonderful thing. It's control on the other was downright blissful. It made cooking and dethawing food take only seconds. Four steaks each at different at different cooking temps ranging from Pittsburghed to well done. Grilled corn on the cob and baked potatos. An American meal fit for kings. He drank his whiskey and plated everything. Eli thought it looked half way decent. Something he could have ordered from a nice restaurant back home. As he drank the last bit in his glass and places all the food he cooked in the oven. Turning the oven on low, Eli grabbed an apple and was content to wait for whatever hell was coming his way.

The apartment smelled wonderful. Meat and whiskey in air. He was enjoying with every second of it.

Fortunately (or unfortunately for a certain two), Olivia had came down from her high and they had been snooping around in her place for far too long! Whenever she smelt the odd scent of burning, Olivia could just tell that she was more than likely going to be pissed off. She could make exceptions for Isabella Lancaster and to some extents, Ruby Greenfoot, but Elijah Craigh had no dark backstory to ammend his actions. No brutal murders nor tragic loss. Elijah Craigh was the worst of humanity and Olivia found herself having a very strong dislike of the man, even if he did save her. Why Cedric insisted on keeping scum like him around was a mystery to her but if she had her way, Elijah Craigh would be buried in the darkest cell she could find or at least somewhere where he wasn't annoying her. She was a very forgiving individual.

Of course, his reputation with her skyrocketed as she was informed that they had to snip a part of her hair off due to burn damage. You can try to kill a girl. Hell, you can very nearly succeed in killing her but the moment you touch her hair, shit is going down. "Olivia, do go lightly on them, I do believe that they're innocent in terms of maturity levels."

Olivia, however, was very firm on the task ahead of her. "Not now, Albert." She was suprisingly silent, showing just how angry she was - it was very likely that there would be a lot of injuries after she had her way. Moving past the old man, she ignored the fact that she was still clothed in her hospital gown and looking like she had just walked through Hell. Once she had equipped herself with a nearby wall-mounted fire-extinguisher, Olivia padded bare-footed into the elevator packed full of suit-donning who quickly parted for the unfeeling young woman who looked better suited as an assassin, nevermind a peace-maker.

Getting into her apartment was fairly easy, considering she owned it but unfortunately for Nate, she entered just as he began speaking about the treasures he revealed upon entering her bedroom and snooping about. So now, the Reformists hired both perverts and murders. Great. Sighing softly, she stayed within the shadows of the hall where she was invisible to them and quickly activated Orion. The familiar rush of feeling her body strengthen and contract still proved to be quite exhilarating for Olivia, even if she was about to go and potentially murder two powerful Metas. She'd think about the potential part later, though.

Humming softly, she kept the bow on her back and softly whistled for the two dogs formed at her sides. Everything happened in a rush as she moved into the kitchen, nonchantly equipping a kitchen knife which suddenly turned her from nice Olivia to not so nice Olivia. It was clear that Elijah was not the target with the knife as she turned towards Nate. With reactions that most would die for and an accuracy to match it, she flipped the knife up in the air, catching it on its point before propelling it towards Nate, or more specifically, Nate's nether region. Nate must have prayed particularly hard that day as the blade imbedded itself in the couch, only a lucky inch shy of his crotch. Giving him a rather impressed look, she whistled and nodded towards him, having her two imposing hounds circle Nate to make sure he didn't rush to Elijah's aid.

Turning on the possibly stunned pyromancer and without uttering a single word, she raised the nossle of the fire-extinguisher and gripped the handle tightly, causing a bright blast of carbon dioxide to suddenly burst from the hose and force Elijah back a little. Elijah needed to hammer it into his thick, redneck skull that a fire needs oxygen to burn and carbon dioxide limits said oxygen. "Give me three reasons to stop and I'll possibly reconsider throwing you out of my window with your pervert friend over there, enfoiré."

Nate perched himself up on his elbows when a knife suddenly came within inches of his crotch. "Hey!" he complained at Olivia. He pulled the knife from the cushion, fully intending on throwing it back at her, but stopped at the sight of the circling dogs. Sure, he had snooped a little but going after his boys seemed a tad disproportionate in terms of revenge. If it hadn't been for Nate, this woman would had no hair left at all. "Of all the ungrateful..." He continued to mumble something under his breath as Olivia switched her attention to Eli.

He laughed slightly as she shot him with a fire extinguisher and used the knife Olivia had thrown at him to slice into his apple. He popped said slice into his mouth and sat up, not taking his eyes off of Eli and Olivia. This promised to be good. "Yeah, Opie," he began "Explain yourself--Hey!" His expression quickly shifted from a smile to annoyance as he realized the pervert she was talking about was him.

Eli almost fell down with laughter. It was a fair response, probably a needed one. It was a smart almost well planned move. The only problem was it didn't work. Well it didn't work if her plan was to make sure he didn't use his powers. The back of his body his was for the most part uncovered. Still she made threats, this girl was ballys at the least. Impressive on a bad day. Eli was almost worried what she was like on a good day. The look on Nates face was priceless. This was proof G_d had a sense.

"Well I made you dinner, I saved your life and unlike that boy I didn't go rifle through your things..." Eli couldn't help himself. He knew that this might be the worst thing he could say in his own defense but he just couldn't help it. He smiled a big toothy smile and giggled a little. "And you look lovely tonight. That medical gown really... Just makes your eyes pop. Plus I'll help you throw him. Going through a woman's things like. The shame of it all. Aye, how do you sleep in your car Nate?"

Eli made sure that the spine of his on his back was erupted. Just in case something were to happen.

@Gentlemanvaultboy

Max was just walking back into the room, talking loudly on his earpiece. "Noooo, leave her where she is for now. Dude, you didn't see her. Even the walk to the infirmary was nearly too much, just find an empty room and bring her luggage there. I mean, yeah, of course she has to be meta otherwise she wouldn't have brought luggage here. Nice, just kick it up the chain and we'll see if we can get a description of this blood murder guy once she wakes up."

That's when Damien caught his attention, and he saw the sorry state of the dog in his arms. At first he threw his hands up in frustration. A dog. A literal stray off the street. This was getting to be a bit much.

On the other hand, he wasn't about to be the man who let a hero dog bleed out on their doorstep. He would not be able to live with himself. Rushing up and giving the thing a once over he looked a Damien, decided that this was worth a citation, and went, "Yeah, sure, why not. Come on, infirmary. Jesus, what did it do, dive through a window to save you Resident Evil style?"

This was going to cost him every favor he had with the infirmary staff.

Pirouette Stories Yet Untold

Ann frowned and eyed the spirit boy with a bit of suspicion as he elbowed himself and asked for the third question to be ignored. She noticed a slight change from colored phantom to grayscale mortal for a brief second. It seems he might be a bit like Ann, only without a twin. "Um.. okay." Ann replied quietly as she looked away. Her eyes wandered a bit as she thought of how to answer the first question without offending her silent sister. Eventually her eyes settled on Ariadne and she answered. "Wellll.. she has always been quiet. I mean, I think she can't speak because I haven't heard her voice in..." Her heart sank at the realization, "..I don't remember her voice."

Her mind wandered again as her ghostly body slowly floated towards the ceiling. Did Ann want to tell her story to pretty much a complete stranger? Probably not but she felt it would be rude not to answer in some manner. "I...We were... made in a lab. I-I don't remember much." That was the shortest of the shorthand version but it was the truth as far as Ann believed. The scary thing is, who knows if she and Ariadne had actually lived an earlier life. "Sorry but I don't like to remember it, anyway."

Now it was Ann's turn to ask a question. It was on the back of her mind ever since she witness the boy fade in and out of mortality. Ann was also thinking that it would be odd for a ghost to be haunting a brand new building and the fact that most ghosts didn't like conversing with the half-dead much like what Ann and Ariadne were. "Can I ask something... Are you actually a ghost?"

"Aliens... yay. Guess I'll have to commission the government for some sort of sensor or something. I've seen enough movies to know they will either fully invade, or be smart and send spies first to assess the situation. Yay TV." Light said, casually sitting on a stump as she listened to Constantine's little speech. She wasn't so aware of where constantine was herself, as she was off on a string of missions when he went missing and while Cedric mentioned he was dead, Light didn't really believe it herself as the circumstances laid out were too... convenient.

Cedric took Owlman away with him to be healed up by Healing Spore, disappointing a nearby ambulance that Light had called to aid him as she was unaware of Cedric apparently having a teleporting meta under his command. Light, seeing no real reason to be here ad the others could probably handle Jaden, decided to go off into the town.

It didn't take long for news crews to swarm her after the toppling of a building and the hordes of monsters that were at a once big business building. Most asked her for a statement or something, and while she was aware of the trope that heroes didn't deal with the media, Light was the opposite. Saying that she would only answer a couple questions as she had somewhere to be, she explained to the news crew. "The building you saw fall was the home of some rogue group that was turning citizens into monsters, as you are no doubt aware, and I rescued. That building being their main base. We destroyed the group and sent them fleeing with the cops taking in some of the monsters for questioning that we convinced to defect. I'd like to thank the LAPD for their timely response and I hope all of you will attend the ceremonies to mourn those who had been lost in the fight." That last bit was to guilt trip the media hounds, who did pause them a bit. Taking that as a way to get going, Light said she had to go, pulled out a hole, and moved away from the group with a smile and a wave.

It took a few holes before she got away from the big media group, and she found herself in front of a flower shop when she was confident they had all been left behind. She decided to go inside to grab something for the injured and deceased, as it didn't take much time out of her schedule and they'd probably appreciate that. When she entered, she noticed that Loki was there talking with a girl Light couldn't really remember well. She greeted the pair as she browsed for flowers to buy.
