The Walk of God - Final Part
Wrath endlessly consumed the creatures thoughts as Isabella briefed it. It didn't feel normal, but more disturbed and paranoid. Lancaster hadn't taken notice of its inability to endlessly walk, though that could be because she didn't care about such trivial details, but to Patel this was a disgrace. There was no elegance to this act offered to its God. This uncertainty and anger made it merciless and relentless, as it would demonstrate with Light's next attack.
Since it was mostly focusing on the drone, it could easily notice the hole forming and the item coming out. It didn't even have to whisper this time as the steam coming out did the work for it. A beautiful slap across the bomb's structure as it just emerged had entirely shattered it, the fragments being shot like shotgun pallets on Light's next attack. The monster had all around vision, making it able to notice the cartoon's shift in position. As she'd take the remains of her bomb, one of the vectors would deliver the same back hand slap on Light's falling being, making it strong enough to propel her away through the walls of the HQ and through multiple blocks of buildings. It wasn't to be rid of that thing until it could fulfill its duty.
As the drone synchronized with the Reformists' frequency and forced itself into the national emergency broadcast channel, Patel forced a beaten up Cedric with barely any unbroken bones on his knees right before it. He'd be helpless toward the zooming camera's broadcast to the nation, and potentially the world. Cedric's face would be seen by every television in the United-States of America. Those outside at the airfield would also have a dose with the many intact screens signaling an evacuation depicting that same broadcast.
"
... May you... Find peace in... Death."
The monster whispered to Cedric as it remained right behind him with a voice that appeared to be comprised of many different types of voices, giving off an unnerving vibe. No one could actually hear this through the drone's mic. After a few seconds to leave Cedric to give final words to the world and in exchange offering enough time for every government official to assess the gravity of the situation, anyone with a keen eye could see one of Patel's transparent vectors softly wrap around Cedric's head. A second after, his head would be instantly turned at a 90 degree angle, effectively breaking his neck and killing him on the spot. The Reformist chief fell limp on the ground, having saved many through a quick evacuation but dying like a dog at the hands of something that wasn't even human. Every man, woman and child near a screen connected to the internet of a television network would witness this death.
The camera then zoomed at Patel's being. It didn't move after killing Wessex, not even to push away the body. A few seconds later, the drone would fly up and through cracks of the building manage to capture a large portion of the HQ plunged into Chaos. All the Underground agents who could see this broadcast would know what it signified.
Camille Mahroug - Emergency
Camille could finally guess that the two similar looking beings were different people, most likely twins or something. The Ghost seemed a bit friendlier than the silent physical one who got all defensive when Camille got too close. Luckily a fight didn't break out between the two, but the dog's urgency prompted everyone to get moving despite the young underground's proposals. To her, they didn't seem to understand the weight of her words, how hell would likely break loose here in not too long, and they would live it to their deaths if they didn't follow her.
But Camille's frustration would be quenched as the ghastly figure of the second blonde appeared to agree with the little girl's perspective. That made her smile in content, but that smile would turn to a frown as Ariadne had the marvelous idea of taking Owlman with he to some random direction that would inevitably lead her to imminent doom. Meaning Patel would slap their faces off, literally. She'd hit the tip of the umbrella against Ariadne's side, signaling her to stop, whether it appeared hostile to her or not, she needed to stop now.
"
Ugh. You dumbo! You're going the wrong way! He'll die if you go there!"
She scolded the cold blonde, but before she could continue her instructions, many of the screens around the interior and exterior of the base had stopped signaling the evacuation or downright turned themselves on to showcase Cedric's execution. This caught Camille's attention, as it would likely catch anyone else's. They could hear Cedric and everything going on in the control room. Camille wasn't focusing on Cedric but Patel. When the man had been taken of his life, the camera focused more on the executioner, and there the young girl could tell something was dreadfully wrong. Her eyes widened just a little before she'd pause to think as the drone flew up to capture the building's entirety.
"
... Merde..."
She'd turn her focus back at Ariadne, expecting Ann to hear her plea toward the upcoming events. Her expression was a lot more serious this time, no more false charisma or ridiculous dealings. She was slightly frightened, and most of all stressed beyond normal levels.
"
Behind hangar 4 in the air field, il y a one of the fences has a huge hole in it. Bring your meta friends and Owlman there. If you don't, you'll die. I'll be right behind you."
She instructed her twin blondes so they could give the weaker ones a chance to escape this soon to be rise of the anti-Christ. While she expected her new 'buddies' to escape, she looked around to hopes to find Vince. She'd be a little worried about him as he didn't report back nor did he start evacuating as soon as the live footage was broadcast. She wouldn't wait too long though as she had no intentions of leaving her acquaintances out of her sight.
