You can start as a vamp, or become one during the roleplay. However do keep in mind that most vamps would rather kill you than turn you. And as a vamp's strength grows with age, most older vamps would vastly outrank a newblood who had just been turned.

Oh, but as far as invisibility. You have to make a logical mechanism for it. Like, you can do mental illusions or you move really fast or have super stealth.
So it's not just unexplained magic. And as far as frost breath, do you mean he can turn things cold? Neither power will be all that strong at first.
