Primus Ta'aun is dead, taken by Oryx, slain by Guardians. His bond brothers, Valus Mau'ual and Tlu'urn are dead, slain by Guardians upon the Dreadnought. Primus Sha'aul is dead, slain on Venus by Vex and Guardians. Valus Ta'aurc, slain on his own ship by Guardians, our leaders are gone, and we are without order, the legions Lash blindly now at out enemies, no supply lines remain. The Empires orders are not followed, and now we cry for help from our Emperor, we are weak, but we may be strong.
I, Val Hor'ual of the Sky burners declare myself Valus Hor'ual, and order all other Val and Valus to the Dreadnought! Oryx is dead! Now we form again! Warlords to me, we will take this ship and present it to the Emperor on his arrival! We will grind the Guardians into the dust, and crush the Hive in their home! When the Emperor's forces arrive we will hand this system to him on a platter! WE ARE CABAL! WE ARE NOT WEAK, AND WE DO NOT FAIL!
-Translated from intercepted transmission to all Cabal installations
The time for war approaches, and the drums beat once again.
The Taken King, Oryx, lies dead. His Taken invasion brought now to a standstill, they and the hive now leaderless. But, the effects of the invasion remain, and few were more affected than the Cabal. With the death of their remaining leader during the Taken war, the legions are now leaderless and their lines of engagement are fractured without leadership. The Emperor I'd on his way, bringing the full force of the Cabal empire down on the system. Many of remaining cabal forces, now lead by the Val, are content to dig in and wait for the arrival of the Emperor, but some are not so content.
The self proclaimed Valus Hor'ual has declared a new campaign, and calls all Bracus, Val and other self proclaimed Valus to the Dreadnought in order to wrest it from the hive, and oust any remaining hive leadership. As this has not been expressly ordered by the Emperor, not all Cabal are behind the new Valus, but many are.
From the assorted legions other new Cabal leadership have emerged, intent to conquer for the Empire and show the Emperor that they will not have been complacent upon his arrival.
Rules/Introduction
This RP is, obviously, focused around the Cabal from Destiny shortly after the Taken king. I will be playing Valus Hor'ual of the Sky burners, and the rest of you will be other Cabal Warlords, anywhere from a Bracus to a Valus in rank.
We are beginning on the Dreadnought, with the first campaign of the new order: Take the Dreadnought for the cabal

Legions
The Siege Dancers: Elite cabal detachment focused on the Aquisition and forification of new territory, ma king them a form of stormtroopers. Siege masters, their armor colors are Yellow and blue. Originally lead by Valus Ta'aurc [KIA] who was killed by Guardians in his Imperial land tank
The BLind legion: Elite Cabal detachment focused on acquisition, study and use of vex technology. The most stealth based Cabal detachment, their colors are grey, though Colossi wear white armor, and centurion armor is orange. Originally lead by Primus Sha'aul [KIA] who was killed on venus by Vex and Guardians. More Psion than others legions
The Sand eaters: Largest of the current legions, the Sand eaters are the common soldiery in the system, being deployed to most Cabal Installations. No living Valus known, their armor is White and green.
The Dust Giants: A veteran legion recruited from the Sand eaters and deployed to struggling Cabal lines (at least back when there was still a connected command structure, they now reside mostly on mars in the city of Freehold) No leaders known, armor is Green with yellow trim.
The Sky burners: The fleet based Legion, the Sky burners controlled the unified Cabal fleet, which splintered upon Primus Ta'auns [KIA] death. Almost exclusively found in the dreadnought holding their beachhaed at the Dantalion, their armor is light blue and they have a brush plume on their helmets. Currently, the fleet elements near the dreadnought and the Sky Burners are lead by Valus Hor'ual.
If you want a custom legion pm me about. I will allow a few as the Cabal are pretty fractured atm. Also, you may be in another players legion, but you will either be competitors or their second in command (and possibly bond brother)
The cabal race and war machine
Cabal physically: Cabal are huge creatures stand anywhere from 8 to 15 feet tall, and are incredibly bulky. Their weighty bulk is enhanced by their heavily armored environment suits, made to allow them to survive in the much hotter, dryer environments of other worlds. A cabal with a damaged helmet is a dead cabal.
A cabal's face
command structure: The command structure is very straightforward for such a militaristic race. Basic trooper ranks include: Psion, Legionary, Phalanx, Centurion, Colossi. Above these are the named ranks, explained below
Bracus: Lowest named rank, most likely a sergeant or Lieutenant equivalent. Made up of mostly Centurions
Val: Rank held by the guards of a Valus or Primus, includes Phalanxes, Centurions and Legionaires
Valus: Second highest rank encountered by Guardians. Most likely equivalent to colonel up to major and even more minor generals. Most legions have anywhere from 1 to 3 or even 4 Valus. Take the duties of a Primus in their absence
Primus: Highest encountered rank. Equivalent to a high general, In charge of an Entire legion
Nots: Psions are actually outside of the classic command structure as they are not technically cabal, and have access to powerful psychic powers
Current state of the Cabal War machine: After the Taken king destroyed the base on Phobos, the SKy Burners established a beachhead within the Hive dreadnought by ramming their flagship, Dantalion Exodus VI into the ship. The leader of the Sky burners legion, Primus Ta'aun attempted to lead a squad to kill Oryx, but was Taken and later killed by Guardians.
The two Valus of the Sky Burners, also Ta'aun's bond brothers, lead a strike force into the core of the Dreadnought, intending to blow its core in revenge for the death of their commander. If their plan had succeeded, approximately half the system would have been destroyed. They were killed by a Group of Guardians and their bombs were dismantled.
With the death of the Sky Burners Legion command, every single Cabal commander in the system was dead. The Cabal legions then sent a call for reinforcement to the Empire outside of the solar system, and have now dug in to all their positions, intending to survive until the Emperor's arrival. With the original leadership dead, many lesser Val and Bracus have taken control of sections of their legions in order to maintain order, which has lead to a heavily fragamented front.
Now, self proclaimed Valus Hor'ual has placed a call to arms, not content to wait for the Emperor Hor'ual intends to tke control of the leaderless Hive Dreadnought and present it to the Emperor on his arrival, as well as inititate new campaigns against most of the other races in the system.
