Morgan Rouge - Beacon Academy Ballroom - Monday Evening

@Akayaofthemoon @Bigg Slamm @Rex @jman221

Morgan’s newly filled shots didn’t need to wait long before new challengers were swiping them off the top of his metal chest turned table, and these students seemed like a far hardier lot than the other comers. A dark haired owl faunus downed a shot whole with a barely perceptible winch before pointedly handing the glass back for a second round and delivering a cocky smirk.

‘Another round friend?’ The faunus asked.

Morgan’s face split into a grin and he began to pour another measure into the shot glass, but as he moved to pour, a second shot was swiped from the table as a raven haired girl swept gracefully onto the scene and downed the measure in a single gulp. She playfully chided Morgan and the rest of the reveling students before thanking Morgan, putting her glass down, and sweeping away from the group as fast as she had come.
Morgan whistled in appreciation of her feat as she departed before he turned back to owl faunus.

“Finally,” he said. “People who can handle their liquor.”

He poured another shot into the faunus’ glass, handing the glass back before he downed his own shot of rum as smoothly as the last four. Morgan swallowed the burning liquor appreciably, feeling the warm glow of inebriation suffuse his body, but his family had been feeding him alcohol aboard the Fluffy Cloud since they’d first unlocked his aura, and he knew damn well how to handle a buzz.

“I’m five shots in,” Morgan said, returning his own cocky grin. “You’ve got a lot of catching up to do friend.”

A sudden exclamation of appreciation from Morgan’s back drew his attention to a fox eared faunus just joining Morgan’s little party.
“That’s called Mistral Coast Black Kraken Rum,” he bellowed in reply. “Sailors favorite all along the shores of Mistral and beyond. It’s sure to put some hair on your chest.”

Morgan winked and began refilling now emptied shot glasses with the dwindling bottle of rum just in time for a bald and heavily tattooed young man in a simple robe to grasp a newly filled glass and join the festivities with a toast. He beckoned for more students to come and test their livers against the might of Mistral Coast Black Kraken Rum before turning back to the newest comer.

“Where are my manners,” Morgan responded merrily. “I’m Morgan Rouge, more from the sea than Mistral, but I always welcome good company.” He raised his own glass and urged the others to do the same before downing yet another shot.

“Now what’s your names and where’d you fellows get your slashes?” Morgan gestured toward his own tattooed arm and the black silhouette of an anchor inked into his skin. He’d noticed that his new companions all shared their own inked etchings and he was interested in their history.

“Mine was an old artist off the coast, bit of a family emblem.”

Renji Yamada - Beacon Academy Ballroom - Monday Evening
@ryukan

Renji smiled as Morgan introduced himself. He had heard tales of the Fluffy Cloud and her owners the Rouge family. A fellow protector of the innocent is a friend indeed. "It's a pleasure to meet you Morgon, but it seems those five shots are going to your head already. I've alread introduced myself as Renji. My tattoos were done by my village elder. They are the written text of Atlum Maudune, our monestaries founder." He said as he undone the top two buttons of his robe and pulled his arm through it revealing his shoulder showing his tattoos were all connected. "It covers most of my body. It was a long and painful process. A real test of fortitude. This is nothing." He bragged as he downed his third shot slamming the glass down demanding a fourth. Tucking his arm back in his robe he then removed his sleeping cap and pointing to his head. "This was the most painful part. You bleed rapidly and you cannot move to rehydrate yourself. So you must endure and stay awake as to not go into shock." He added before downing another and requesting to keep them coming. He knew it wasn't fair, but he knew he would be alright. He would use his semblance to burn out the alcohol before bed.

Razor WhiteFang - Beacon Academy Ballroom - Monday night

@ryukan

“Never hear of the stuff. My village is near the forest so all the ale most of the people make their ale from the herbs found in the forest. However, most of the ale has this sour after taste to it, but this stuff goes down so smooth and the after tastes is great,” Razor said before he downed the second shot he was given. He laughed at the notion of more hair as he said, “I’m sure I don’t need more hair on my chest.”

“Nice to meet you Mr. Rouge. I’m Razor Whitefang, member of the Moon Blood clan outside the city walls,” Razor said after Morgan introduced himself. Razor looked at his own tattoos and explained, “My tattoos are from our village witch doctor. She’s the only one who is qualified to give us our war paint. That’s what my village calls the tattoos. She’s able to see in the future so we are given two tattoos. One of the Grimm that I'll have an advantage over and kill while the other is the Grimm that will kill me. She doesn’t tell us which one is which or when it will happen.”

“I don’t mean to be rude,” Razor said as he picked up his empty shot glass and asked, “Do you have any more of that Rum left?” I know I need to be a jerk, but maybe this place will help. after all, it's the first day so if need be I'll put on the fake persona later Razor thought.

Dawn Agresta - Beacon Amphitheater, Monday
@Kaithas@Hylianhero@Invariance of C@Pyromania99

Dawn, for her part, didn't care that much about what might be bothering Ozpin. Doubtlessly he had a lot more to worry about, what with being the Headmaster of the school and all, and she had a feeling that it wasn't all that relevant to her or any of the students. But she might be wrong, she would freely admit. In the end it didn't matter, since it was quite obvious that Ozpin didn't feel like telling them.

"I don't see why not," she admitted without unnecessary concern as Martin suggested that they go talk to one off the smaller groups that had remained inside the amphitheater. She didn't have the inclination to write at the moment, and her parents would want her to meet other people, so she might as well.

With that said she would wait for Martin before walking over to the conversing trio. "Hello," she said to them upon nearing them. "I guess we aren't the only ones who aren't eager to explore the campus."

Morgan Rouge - Beacon Academy Ballroom - Monday night
@Rex @Bigg Slamm @jman221

“Sure thing Razor.”

Morgan poured the last of bottle into the remaining cups offered by his new companions, tossing aside the empty vessel where it sailed over the heads of the revelers and landed squarely into a waste bin across the ballroom. He then uncorked the final bottle of rum with his teeth and happily plied himself with another measure, which he promptly downed, and then refilled again.

“And I’ve got no idea what you’re talking about Benji,” he belched. “I’ve still got it, five shots in or no, and now I’m going on six.”

Experienced or not the world was getting a mite hazy even for Morgan, but he’d been worse.

To Morgan’s credit, several of the students who had joined Morgan’s festivities early in the evening were already swaying noticeably on their feet or sprawled upon the floor as the strong liquor began to overpower their senses. Morgan listened nudged one particular student who’d tried early on to go shot for shot with him on their side so they’d be in mildly better condition in the morning. He then turned back and listened arched his eyebrow and whistled as Benji (Or was it Renji?) explained the lengthy process behind his intricate collection of body ink.

“Sounds like you don’t need hair on your head if you’ve already got that much off of your chest.”

Plopping down atop his cot next to the chest, Morgan gestured towards his three new drinking buddies to join him, pouring fresh shots out whenever the other cups made their rounds.

“As for you fox,” he said. “That reminds me of this big tribe of jackal faunus’ my father told me about once, but instead of getting them inked their hunters would get ‘war paint’ of the first grimm they took down, and then the last one if they managed to retire.”

All around Morgan other students were stumbling about and laughing along. He was pleased to find that it looked like he’d done his job admirably in getting the party started and the rest could sort itself out by the morning.

Nova Hail- Monday Night- Lecture Hall
@Thundercrash

Nova finally got a good look at the person that had snuck out of the ballroom to slink off by themselves for some reason unknown. They didn't sound sick too sick even with it being a bit stuttered though with that scarf wrapped up around them and other warm items on, the voice could be decieving. It was possible though that this girl was from a warmer region and was having to adjust to the new temperatures around her. Either way, it worried her that this girl wanted to sneak off and be alone when something could be seriously wrong."Hey,there is no need to apologize. I was just worried that you might be sick and trying to hide it. If your not feeling well then you shouldn't be alone. If it has nothing to do with being sick and maybe do to being shy or something, you can always join me in the ballroom so you know you have a friend close by. I have a little spot in the corner of the ballroom and it would be easy to make more room. It just might be bad if you were caught in here when we are suppose to stay together in the ballroom. As it is most of them are drunk on off their feet or passed out and probably wouldn't notice if a Grimm came crashing in so I highly doubt they would bother you." Nova offered, deciding not to check the girls forehead as she was tempted to do to check for a fever but instead knelt down so she was more at the others level."What do you say?"

Cyra Zylvan - Lecture Hall - Monday Night

@Akayaofthemoon

For a moment, Cyra looked at the girl. There was some truth to her words; she could hear the rowdiness through the open door. And she certainly sounded sincere; her tone was soft and low, her face slightly creased in concern. She seemed genuinely worried.

Still, it made no difference. Cyra took a breath, closing her eyes as she took a large step backwards, gathering up as much firmness as she could. "No. I... I can't sleep in there. Too many people around."

"Why-"

"Because I can't!" Cyra winced, the words coming out sharper than she had intended, tinged with panic. "I just... I just can't, okay? I won't do it. Don't make me."

Heather decided she needed to move, as the boat got underway. She wanted to get somewhere where knocking Yami over wasn't going to happen, seeing as that may ruin her plans. She smiled and told Yami she wanted to quickly stretch her legs... a rather pitiful lie really. As the boat began to move, she rather clumsily stood, trying hard to keep her balance as the ship began to sway with the ocean. "Ok... there has to be somewhere to sit down... or something to hold onto or-" the boat gave a sudden lurch, most likely catching wake from another ship. Heather, caught completely off guard, tripped rather hard, and tried to catch herself with something, blindly flailing her arms out for anything... and did catch something, another person specifically, a member of team FRST. Heather dragged whatever she had caught down with her, slamming onto the deck hard on her back, then being hit by whatever she had pulled down with her. It smelled like a wet cat... then Heather realized she had just dragged Sapphire down onto the deck with her. "Ohmygod, Sapphire I'm sorry... I uh... just didn't" Heather managed to stammer out.

It had not been long since Sapphire had entered the ship with Fern and Rust, soon separating from them to go her own way. She had finally managed to dry herself when the ship lurched, sending Sapphire grabbing for something. Suddenly, before she could get a grip on a perfect handhold, she felt something, or someone, else pull her down. Squealing as she landed, feeling the remaining damp of her clothing clinging to her side, she realized that a deer Faunus landed on her. It took a moment for her to recognise Heather, but when she did, she held her hands up. "Hey, hey, it's alright," the cat Faunus replies. "This is better than falling into the water."

Heather attempted to get off as quickly as possible, standing rather uneasily above Sapphire, almost seeming like she would fall over again, before she managed to get a hold on a nearby railing. After steadying herself Heather offered her hand to Sapphire smiling through her blush, "Heh.., I uh guess that's true... I'm uh still sorry..." she saw that Sapphire's clothes were still damp and clinging to her, and reflexively smiled a bit, "I see that your still damp from your little spill... are you alright? I sorta... fell on you after all."

The other Faunus responds with a quick laugh as she takes the hand of Heather, pulling herself to her feet and clinging onto a nearby railing in case the ship rocked again. "Heh, yeah. I'm okay, I think," Sapphire responds. "Just... Just..." She put both of her hands over her face. "I don't want to be on this ship! I want to be off of it! What if it sinks? What if water just floods inside?" She suddenly blurts out, her tail swinging around behind her.

Heather went from smiling to not as quickly as Sapphire had gone from collected to terrified. Heather glanced around, looking for anyone to help her deal with this... Sapphire was far from ok on the ship. So, with no one to help her, Heather let go of the railing and hugged Sapphire, it was all she could think to do! "Oh this is dumb! Your invading personal space and she's freaking out-" Heather looked at Sapphire before taking a deep breath, and fixed Sapphire with a calm look, "It's... It's alright... your alright Sapphire you're safe... after all I'm here aren't I? And so is the rest of PYCH, and Rust and Fern and Tillian... we... we wouldn't let something like that happen, we're... we'd keep you safe... if your still scared you could always just... stay near someone... so if something like that happened we could help you... I'm sure that Tillian or Fern would be fine with that... or uh me I guess... but if you really feel scared just... yea" Heather felt incredibly weird, she hadn't ever had to support someone like that before... she sure hoped she had done the right thing...

Sapphire's thoughts filled with Tillian once Heather mentioned him, and she wondered if Heather knew that had broken up, and that he was sort of mean on occasion. She started to take a few deep breaths, just to control herself a little as she tried to forget about the water. "In... In that case, it'd have to be you or Fern," The worried cat replies, wrapping an arm around the deer girl. Sometimes being younger paid off, as she got care like this. "D-Did nobody tell you? M-Me and Tilian broke up."

Heather let out a sigh of relief when Sapphire didn't immediately freak out when she got hugged, ok good move then. Her comment that it would have to be her or Fern confused Heather more than a little bit, last she had heard... oh dear... Heather had made a mistake. Her look of confusion was replaced by one of utter embarrassment, "Ah! I'm uh... wow sorry I didn't... no one told... I um... sorry, how long have... oh dear," Heather started babbling like she did sometimes when very surprised or nervous, and she felt like she had just committed a MASSIVE faux pas, whether she actually had or not, "Um, then I mean yea you could stick with me... or or... I could help you find Fern or... oh I'm REALLY sorry I had no... I mean you seemed like... I just don't," clearly the deer Faunus had rather severely lost her train of thought in her babbling... someone needed to stop her.

It was Sapphire's turn to squeeze Heather into a tight hug. It was a bit awkward, and looked more like a younger sibling hugging an older one, but it was still a hug. "Heather, it's okay. Sometimes, we make presumptions, and sometimes those presumptions are wrong, however everyone can make mistakes," she replies. "He was a jerk anyways. It turns out he was just playing it out all along, acting it out for his own amusement." A single tear ran down her face, but she was quick to wipe it away. "Sometimes, I think the reason he is such a jerk to me is because I am probably a jerk to him. Ever since we broke up, he's been coaxing me into being annoyed, and I do follow up with being annoyed. Sometimes I think it's because I always just express my annoyance with him generally." Sapphire shook her head clear of thoughts, looking up to Heather. "Sorry for rambling. Do you want to do anything?" She asks.

Heather was caught off guard by the sudden squeeze, and it did serve to stop her incessant babbling. She looked down at Sapphire, listening as she talked about why she wasn't with Tillian anymore, seeing her wipe away the tear that rolled down her cheek as she recalled clearly painful thoughts. Heather frowned, "I guess this is one of the advantages of social ineptitude... harder for people to hurt you since they can't get close..." Heather pushed her depressing thoughts to the side and considered what she wanted to do at the moment, "Well... I could eat honestly *growl*, er I mean I probably SHOULD eat, but I understand that seems pretty boring soIcompletelyunderstandifyou'drathernot..." oh god, lost it there at the end Di great job... she paused before she could go into babble mode again, and took a deep breath, "I mean... not alot to do on a boat after all." she said without realising what possible consequences may occur.

"You know what, that sounds like a great idea, Sapphire says, a wide smile on her face. "In fact, I know something that always makes eating better, as it gives us something to talk about as we eat." Sapphire taps the side of Gemtra, which was in it's idle form, before returning her hand to the railing. I am probably a jerk to him."We could always have a match. You versus me."

The deer girl smiled at the smaller girl, "Well... I guess the ship probably has like a cargo hold or something... we could spar there if you really want to fight that badly! But uh... I'm gonna need your help getting there..." Heather blushed as she gestured to her unstable footing. With Sapphire's support though, they managed to make it to the cargo hold with virtually no accidents. On the way there Heather had avoided bringing up Tillian again, not one to make the same mistake twice. Upon entering the cargo hold, Heather found it was a bit easier to stay on her feet as it was more like the center of the ship... and she guessed they were out of the dock wakezone by now. As they looked for a space large enough, Heather eventually got fed up. She found several large crates, and one by one picked them up and moved them, they were quite heavy a clanged loudly upon being set down... Heather hoped she hadn't broken anything. After moving eight or nine boxes she had cleared enough room for a proper fight. She smiled then turned back to Sapphire, "Ok, a few rules. One, no semblance use, we are sparring and I don't want to wreck the ship... that and my semblance might suffocate us. Two, try to avoid putting a hole into the walls or floor... we are basically at the water so we have to be careful not to sink the ship, I'll be pulling my own hits as well. Third... uh... I don't know... have fun?*sigh* Alright, tell me when your ready." Heather bent her knees, her left hand on her Kanabo's hilt(or the uchi's hilt if you looked at it that way), her right hand out for balance and ready to draw, her combat stance taken she waited for Sapphire to make the first move.

Sapphire tried to wipe the thought that they were in the middle of the open water from her mind as she paid attention to the rules. Well, she better not make me cry, else there probably will be a problem, she thinks to herself, as she places her hand on the grip of Gemtra. She made no rules about ranged attacks, Sapphire grins, having failed to hold it back. "Okay. Five. Four. Three."

She whipped up Gemtra and fired two shots, allowing the weapon's gem to crack and shift into it's defensive form, still allowing herself to be able to fire more shots as she ran forward. "Good luck!"

She almost didn't catch them in time, but Heather just managed to swing her Kanabo to block the first two shots as they collided with the large club. Heather threw herself to the left to avoid the opening salvo, ordinarily she would have attempted block but she was to unsure of her own footing. As soon as she was back on her feet Heather was strafing striaght down the left side of the rapidly approaching Sapphire, hurling herself at the smaller girl when she got close, swinging Malice in a massive horizontal arc from her left side, attempting to force Sapphire to either take the hit or break her charge.

Spotting Heather on the move, Sapphire turns to open fire again, however she realized that the deer was moving too fast to fire at. She starts to spin the six sides of Gemtra to make sure she has plenty of defense as she pulls back. Unfortunately, it started to go wrong, as she stumbled and almost fell to the ground. "Stupid ship," she mumbles, trying to bring Gemtra back to bear.

Heather smiled, her scarf covering it though, and pressed her advantage. She lunged again at Sapphire, but to increase the speed of the attack she drew the Uchi during her lunge with her left hand, swinging the white blade right at Sapphire's midsection

Sapphire gasps as she notices Heather pushing in, and rolls to the side to try and dodge the blade, meanwhile transforming Gemtra into her main offensive form and trying to swing it, using the roll as momentum.

Though the blade barely missed the rolling Sapphire, Heather did not stop her assault. Though the swing from rolling carried momentum, Heather could see it coming, using the short Kanabo already at her side to block the blind swing, then, turning the Uchi to be held like a dagger in her left hand, and bringing it down into the rolling girl... but her footing was off and a slight slip meant the blade wavered a bit as it fell.

Sapphire gasps as the blade hits her, and quickly responds by thrusting her palms up to try and shove Heather up, simultaneously sliding away from her to gain distance.

Heather grunted at the hard shove, it got her in the gut, but "first blood" was hers... metaphorically. Heather needed to keep the fight close, and wasted no time, sheathing the Uchi, turning back to a full Kanabo and charging the still prone Sapphire with an overhead crushing swing, slower than it would be normally as Heather had to keep balance.

Sapphire saw this attack coming, and quickly brought Gemtra to bear, holding the blade with one hand and the hilt with the other to block the "Good try!" she grunts, kicking her boot upwards, aiming from the groin or anywhere low.

Heather had thought that Sapphire might block the attack, and Heather smiled at her little taunt, "Alright Di, what next? Alright I'll ju-" suddenly Heather wasn't able to form rationale thought, and experienced some of the worst physical she ever had. She then realized that Sapphire had kicked her in the... in the... crotch... Heather's knees buckled inwards as she started stumbling back, no longer able to keep her balance well. She swung the Kanabo clumsily and weakly in front of her, not able to bring her strength to bear.

Sapphire grinned as her attack worked, however it faded away as a clumsy hit from Heather impacts her. Thankfully, it wasn't very powerful, and just sent Sapphire into a daze for a moment, but she quickly starts to get to her feet, stumbling. She stares at Heather before swinging at her.

Heather was still in a lot of pain, as it had now spread further up her body in the fallout of the kick. She tried to raise her weapon to block but was unable to make a stable block, and Sapphire's hit dashed Heather to the floor.

Sapphire takes this opportunity to jump up and leap at Heather. This was a big mistake as the ship rocked slightly from a wave and she was sent flying onto the ground instead, hissing at the vehicle.

Heather groaned as the ship rocked beneath her, she felt like she was gonna throw up. She heard Sapphire hiss on the floor, and decided to make a move... or try to. She dropped Malice as she could hardly use it effectively in her current state and threw herself at Sapphire, attempting to use the weight and strength of her body to fight through the pain and tackle Sapphire.

Sapphire squeals, dropping Gemtra as she sees a flying Heather flying toward her. She holds up her arms to defend herself against the heavier girl. She hisses quietly as she attempts to punch at the deer Faunus.

Heather took the hit, it hurt... but she was in alot of pain anyway. She grappled Sapphire around her back and brought both of them into the floor, using her weight to hopefully knock the wind out of the smaller girl.

The cat Faunus lets out a breath as she is knocked to the floor with the deer, and she begins to slap and punch, as well as defend, though is quite weak due to the hits she had taken. She sucks in half a breath as she holds her hands up to defend some more.

Heather took the hits, any not hitting her face or stomach largely being absorbed by her armor. Heather does not try to punch Sapphire, instead grappling her around the back again once the hits stop coming, and beginning to squeeze. She puts all her strength into what is essentially a very aggressive bear hug, and just manages through panting and pained breaths to quietly say, "Yield."

Sapphire began to lose her breath, trying to punch Heather, her hits getting weaker and weaker until she is trying to tug Heather loose instead of punching her. "Can't... Breathe..." She says, trying to reach for Gemtra with one of her hands.

Heather spent all her might, all that she could muster through her pain and the barrage of Sapphire's hits. The smaller girl started running out of steam, then Heather heard, "Can't... breathe..." and decided that was as good as a yield, and relented. The hug relaxed incredibly, though it didn't exactly end as Heather's fingers got caught due to her gauntlets. She fell back panting hard, the pain from her crotch finally starting to subside.

Sapphire started to suck in breath as quickly as she could once she was released, though with Heather still on top it was a bit hard to do. "That," She pants, "was fun." She gave a little giggle, laying back and panting, a wide smile forming on her face.

Heather was still panting, she looked at Sapphire's face, far closer than she had expected it, "You... *pant... kicked me... *pant*... in the...*pant* crotch... it was... *pant*... really fun... *pant*, she managed to smile, but couldn't help but notice how close they were, their noses were almost touching.

Sapphire's face went red as she also noticed the distance between their faces. "S-Sorry," she pants, allowing a tiny giggle to escape her lips. "It... *pant* Must have... *pant* Must have hurt." Her eyes flickered up to Heather's, just for a split second before breaking away again.

Heather grimaced a little when Sapphire mentioned the pain, "Yea... *pant*... You have... no idea..." Heather gave a crooked smile at Sapphire's giggle, then noticed her eyes. They were so... blue... and then she saw them looking back at her... her panting sped up again, she was flustered, her face flushed with red. She could feel Sapphire's breath on her mouth... Heather didn't think about anything as her face slid ever so much closer to Sapphires, their noses touched, but Heather hardly seemed to notice, unable to look away from Sapphire... "Sa... Sapphire... uh... I... she couldn't speak, the words caught in her throat, whatever they were, and all she could do was stare at Sapphire, her nose and Sapphires touching, her breathe catching in her mouth, no idea what to do.

Sapphire did not realize that it was possible for her face to go any redder, but it somehow managed to as her and Heather's noses touched. "Y-Yes... Hea... H-Heather?" She asks, her voice unintentionally a shy purr, as her eyes slowly rise to meet her's again.

Heather locked eyes with Sapphire again, and for Heather it held for what felt like an eternity, lost in Sapphires eyes the color of crystal clear water... and then she kissed her... it wasn't anything major, no tongue, nothing heavy, just a kiss... but she held it there, her and Sapphire, their eyes open for a moment, then Heathers closed as she kissed Sapphire... then she pulled away, ever so slightly, their lips still nearly touching, Uh... ummmm... uh..." she was no longer able to speak as she waited for Sapphire to scream or push her like she expected... but hoped wouldn't.

Sapphire's eyebrows raise a little as she is kissed, but soon they lower, as well as her eyelids, her arms wrapping around the deer Faunus. "Heather..." Sapphire purrs, her heart thumping in her chest as she does so. "W-What on e-earth did we just do?" She asks. Instead of a glare, or anything else that would usually come with that phrase, all there was was the innocent smile on Sapphire's face, and the glint of affection in her eyes.

Heather's eyes fluttered, she didn't yell? She didn't push? She kissed back? Heather almost couldn't speak at all, I... no we uh... it... we kissed... an I thi... think I... uh... I'm uh... no-not hungry and... you... kissed back? I... enjoyed... you?" Heather stood up, picking Sapphire up to her feet with her. "So... you... not mad?" she stood looking at Sapphire, still quite red in the face.

"N-No. No, you pretty thing," Sapphire replies. "I-I'm... I'm not mad. I'm happy. The purring cat Faunus gets onto her feet, cuddling up to Heather with a smile. "Shame we aren't in the same team," Sapphire comments, before her eyebrows raise. "What are we gonna tell our teams? Should we tell them? Do you want to tell them? I'd feel bad not telling them what I've been doing," she bites her lip.

Heather looked confused, she had no idea what the right answer was, "Uh.. well I suppose it'd be... truthful to tell them but... couldn't it cause um... problems in... FRST? With uh... him?" she didn't want to say Tillian's name for fear of making Sapphire cry again, "So... maybe we um... wait? Whatever you.. uh... really want... I don't want you to... be upset..." she smiled at Sapphire, hoping she had said what Sapphire wanted her to.

"I... I think I'll tell one person. I'll tell Fern. I'll send her a text about it. About... About us." Sapphire could not help but grin. "I wonder if she'll care more about us, or that I lost," she adds with a wink. Her tail swishing behind her, she then asks, "So... W-What now? It's a bit late... Want to find a cabin?"

Heather smiled at Sapphire, "I think... that is good... I uh... I'm tired so yea.." After that, with Sapphire, Heather made to leave the cargo bay to find said cabin, before she though about something and turned to Sapphire, "So... if you tell Fern... am I allowed to tell Carlin?... She is my partner on PYCH so..."

"Sure thing," Sapphire says, smiling. "Fern's my partner anyways, too." As they walked to find the cabin, Sapphire very shyly takes the hand of Heather, squeezing it gently.

Heather squeezed back, and couldn't stop smiling. They moved down the ship's corridors until they came to the cabins, finding one not in use and unclaimed. Heather entered first, she started removing her armor, she set it gently on the ground, then removed her boots, She hadn't brought her scroll, but decided she would use Sapphires after she had messaged Fern. After she had done that, Heather waited for Sapphire to get into bed first, before getting in behind her and wrapping her arms around the small cat Faunus. She smiled as she began drifting off to sleep, happy to have someone she connected to so closely.

The smile didn't disappear from Sapphire's face as they walked through the ship and into the cabin. Removing her boots and then her jacket, Sapphire climbs into bed, cuddling against Heather as she began to type a message to Fern.

Fern, if you're wondering why I ain't bunking with the team, I may have... I may have gotten into a sparring match with Heather... Long story short, I lost, we kissed, we are in love, we're sleeping together. Sleeping in the literal sense! See you in the morning!
Please don't tell the others.

After sending the message, she turns her head to Heather. "Hey, didn't you bring your scroll?" She asks, presuming she hadn't considering she wasn't already messaging Carlin.

Heather shook her head, still almost to stunned with everything to speak, I must have left it at home... but it's alright, I can get one at Patch... but umm... can I use yours for now?" she asked, smiling at Sapphire.

"Of course you can," replied the younger girl, as she places her scroll in the hand of the older. "H-Hey, H-Heather... I... I um... I love you."

Carlin, this is Heather Di, using Sapphire's scroll. I left mine at home I guess and this is sorta important. So, won't be bunking with you guyz tonight... I'm uh with Sapphire and... well I fell over earlier when the boat moved and sorta landed on her... later we were sparring then... uh... I ummm... sorta kissed her and... ahe did it back and now I'm with her and... don't tell Paris or Yami please... not yet just... keep quiet please

Heather finished sending the message and placed the scroll on the floor near the bed, as their was no desk or table or anything. Then she heard Sapphire's confession, and looked the younger girl in the eyes, "I uh... you... um... I lo-love... you too... and hugged Sapphire close to her, wishing she could stay like that for a long time.

Nik- Beacon Courtyard- Monday Night

Having been given the cold shoulder and listening to a boring announcement from Ozpin, Nik wandered throughout the school grounds, he eventually found himself back where he had started, under a tree in the courtyard. "Man, what a boring place, can't believe that this is where hunter's are trained.", Nik was of course talking quietly to himself, something of a habit he picked up from living by himself for most of his life."But I still can't hold my anticipation for tomorrow, we get our teams then, and like all wolves, no matter how hard I try, I still need to be part of a pack. Hopefully I won't be the leader, I can't stand people looking to me for orders." Nik pulled out his axe and lay it upon his lap, hands slowly moving over it, checking it, investigating it, caressing it."I still need to find out your history Ash Moon, I know you were my fathers but I know not how you came to be or why he had you." His thoughts went back to that night, and the blood and death, and Grimm. He was the last of his family that he knew of, he didn't know if he had aunts, uncles, or grandparents. Ahhh but he had an adopted family, but they turned into terrorist, so they didn't count as family anymore. "I wonder how that Renji guy is doing he seemed nice. A bit out of place here but nice none the less."

A Collaboration between
@OneWayOut as Fern Flora of Team FRST
and
@Katakon as Paris Rosaline of Team PYCH
Boat to Patch - Monday Night

Paris was away from the rest of his team topside on the boat looking over the waves of the night sea. Normally he would love to spend time with Carlin, Yami and Heather. But his parents talk during his break has put him in a contemplating mood. His parents all but confirmed the fact that once he graduate from Beacon his life will be theirs to control. They already picked a wife for him to marry, who, he didn't know yet, they were waiting for confirmation from the girl's parents, but they seem to agree with the idea. Apperently they would produce excellent heirs to both families. Paris sighed, his breath getting caught in the night air. "I hope this school year will be long..." Paris spoke bitterly as he pushed his pink hair out of his face, Beacon is the closest to freedom he will have in his life.

"Well, well. What do we have here?"

From behind him, Paris would hear the voice of Fern as she approached him, closing her scroll with a light SNAP sound. She had just finished replying to a... surprising message sent by Sapphire. Her simple reply was: You are so dead! X3 I wan't details in the morning. Seriously. Else I'll turn you into a taxidermy cat.

Fern's attention then when back to Paris as she spoke to him.

"This night seems to be full of surprises. First, a new... development from a friend and now this." she said with the raising of a brow. She went to stand beside him, resting her hip against the rail of the ship as she looked at him. "The ever cheerful and carefree Paris Rosaline just let out a very heavy sigh. I wonder why. Is he perhaps... not too fond of boats?" she teased.

While Paris was minding his own business being miserable, a voice shocked him back into reality, he jumped to attention towards the source. Fern of Team FRST. He quickly collected himself and put on a quick but fake smile. "You almost guessed right, " Paris replied with a smirk. "I'm not a fan of the damp underquarter, too damp and stuffy, not up to my noble standards." Paris said with a lopsided smirk holding back a chuckle, but honestly it was too damp underneath, it reminded him too much of the chamber for that damn tree.

"Noble standards? Don't be an ass." she said, laughing lightly. She turned and rested her elbows against the ledge of the ship and peered over into the water. Fern had a feeling that wasn't the only thing bothering him, but she was in no position to pry into his life. Instead, she changed the subject.

Paris laughs in response to Fern's comment. He shifted his feet so he can also peer over the railing with Fern, although he could barely do so due to his short legs compared to most others. His thoughts started to become more positive within the presence of another, he was never good at being by himself too many troubles to think about back home.

"So, what are you doing out here all by yourself? It's really not like you." she asked him while trying to see her reflection in the water. It was no use since it was too dark. The only sources of light were the dim ones that lit up the deck of the ship so the crew didn't trip and fall.

Paris glanced down to the water as well, he knew she wouldn't see anything at this hour, but he needed to look busy to think up a proper response himself. "You know, being all leader-ly and stuff like that... and even I need time to think, hopefully I don't need to do it again, on this mission." He replied quietly as he looked back into the water hoping to see an impossible reflection.

"I haven't seen you in quite some time. I was happily surprised you agreed to bring your team along. I was worried you may have changed into some aloof, brooding guy. It's nice to see you and the others."

Paris grinned brightly at his follow leader, glad for the change in atmosphere. "I'm glad to still be full of surprises. I would make a terrible Huntsmen if I wasn't. You don't have to worry about that Fern, I'm still my old talkative, cheerful Leader of team PYCH self. And same with you, Fern, it's always nice to see you guys."

"You know, I really wish I could say the same. But as luck would have it, I spent a couple days away from everyone and seemed to have forgotten how... unusual they were. I have a feeling this year is going to be a long one." she said with a smile. Scooting closer, she nudged him with her elbow.

"But talk about a way to kick off the new year. An assignment right off the bat. I'm gonna have so many bragging rights after this. I mean... more than I already do. Just look at me. I'm fabulous." she said, boasting playfully. She tapped the cool metal of the rail with her fingers and paused for a moment, wanting to say something more.

"I know right, I didn't believed you at first but I have no reason not to believe you. Also you may be the fabulous leader, I'm still the cuter one! Paris responded with a joking grin in response to Fern's boasting.

Fern smiled at his words. "But on a serious note... I don't think I'd be so excited about it if you guys haden't come along. When I was told to pick a team to come with us, I didn't even have to think about it. I knew I could rely on you guys. I just hope whatever we're doing doesn't put any of our friends into harm's way."

Paris returned to a more causal smile and he looked over the sea again, the moon was peeking though the clouds showing the waves more clearly with the moon's light. "I'm glad your so confident with my team, I would've done the same if I was in your place, picking you guys, your team may be odd but they're reliable and are good people." He responded with a soft smile, he was telling the truth, team FRST and PYCH have been on good terms since first year, he also liked Fern's leadership skills, even if she does threaten people a lot, but that's what her team needed.

Fern let out a laugh and was about to respond when the clearing of a throat was heard behind them. She turned and looked surprised to see the General standing there.

Paris raised his eyebrow at Fern's sudden silence, before he shifted his body to view to where her eyes were staring at. He nearly jumped in fright at seeing who she was looking at. General Ironwood. He quickly moved his body to a more formal stance, even if didn't trust the man fully he didn't want to get on his bad side.

"Uh... Mr. Ironwood?"

"It's a bit late for you two to be up, don't you think?" he asked, moving to stand on the opposite side of Paris. "I'm not surprised that you two can't sleep. Tomorrow is an important day... for all of us." he said as he looked at the two students.

Paris' body stiffened when the General moved closer to him. He tried his hardest to not be nervous. He was failing at it. As his sweaty palms proved.

Fern sighed and rolled her eyes. "With all due respect sir, I wouldn't be so worried if I knew exactly what we'd be doing. Not just for us, but for the sake of our teammates. It's stressful not knowing what we're getting into."

Paris glances at Fern nervously, while he agreed with her he wouldn't have been so blunt. But he should've expected that from Fern, she would be less blunt to a Beowulf then a headmaster of an Hunting academy. "I agree with Fern, being in the dark is doing us little favor. To both our teammates and to the sake of the mission."

Ironwood seemed unfazed by the tone in Fern's voice, even letting out a chuckle.

"A true huntsman needs to be... adaptable. Out on the field, no one ever knows what tomorrow will bring. As a leader, it is your duty to guide your teams to victory, even with the most unfavorable odds." He glanced at the two then, his expression calm and stoic.

"Tomorrow, I expect you two and your teams to show me you can do that. If you shall fail in this... Hmph." he closed his eyes and turned away from them, crossing his arms behind his back as he started to walk away.

"Be ready to face the consequences."

As the General made his grim exit, Fern sighed and gently facepalmed herself, placing another hand on her hip. "I really don't like him." she complained. While she hadn't expected the man to give them words of comfort, she wasn't too happy with what he did give them. A certain sleepless night, that was for sure.

As Paris listened to the General's words he was fuming away inside, at the subtle jabs at their lack of experience, he never cared for the all knowing jar heads like him, it reminded too much of his parents. Luckily for him he was better at hiding his annoyance compared to Fern.

Slowly, Fern pushed her bangs out of her face and shrugged. "Well, I suppose the old guy has a point. We'll just have to take things as they come I suppose."

Paris sighed as his body loosen to a more comfortable stance. "Yeah, but he didn't have to say it like he was talking to one of his military dogs." Paris responded in a bitter tone.

"I guess that's what happens when you become the strongest military power in the world. You think everyone is beneath you." Fern said, crossing her arms and shaking her head. "I mean, it's not like we didn't know that to begin with. I should have made one of them tell me what the hell's going on." she mumbled.

A moment passed and Fern glanced over at Paris before reaching out to mess up his hair with her hand. "Your hair is as vibrant as ever. I'm so jealous. I bet you use like a hundred different products, don't you? That's not your natural color." she told him, the forced subject change was probably obvious but she wanted to lighten the air, even if it was just a bit.

When Fern ruffled his hair he was shaken away from his subtle anger, he looked at her with confusion, but he just smiled when she spoke about his hair, a bad atmosphere was not good for ones health. "Its all na-tru-al ~ it's part of the perks of being as cute as I am." Paris boasted while doing a sideways wink at Fern, earning a scoff from her. Paris couldn't help but laugh out loud at her scoffing.

"Natural? I'm not buying it." she said, jabbing him in the shoulder with her finger. She smiled at him before letting out a content sigh. "In any case, I do think its time for us to get some sleep. I'll let you join me if you beg." she said to him smirking and taking some steps away from him. "Though if you do wish to keep some of your pride... well, there's always next time."

Paris has since stopped laughing but he was softly giggling to himself as Fern spoke. "You better believe it!" Pairs boasted proudly. Then he was smirking himself, "I was gonna say that myself. he replied with a chuckle. He closely followed behind Fern, to the resting quarters. "I'll keep you to that~" he said brightly in a joking tone. "Well I should get going before my teammates gets worried I was taken away by a seagull."

"Yeah, I could totally see that happening." she said with a laugh as she peered into a room, checking that it was empty. When she saw there was no one inside, she turned and gave a wink to her friend before slipping inside and shutting the door.

Paris waved Fern goodnight as she winked to him. he walked to a chamber himself and closed the door behind him with a smile on his face, he is so happy to have such good friends. Tomorrow was going to be easy. He just knew it.

Nova Hail- Lecture Hall- Monday Evening
@Thundercrash

Nova was a bit startled by just how sharp her reaction was against returning to the ballroom was. She could understand not liking crowds since she wasn't all that fond of them herself but she could put up with it when need be where this girl in front of her seemed almost panicked at the very idea. This had something more than just being shy but she had no way to prove that or even what had happened to the girl to be like this. Did the girl really think that she would force her? Sure, going back to the ballroom was the logical idea but that didn't always mean it was the right one.

"I'm not the kind of person to force someone to do anything they don't want to do." Nova replied to the other softly before standing, petting the girls head gently. "If you are really set on staying than I guess I'll just have to join you. I know you might not appreciate my company but if you get caught than at least you won't have to take the heat alone. I can possible help lessen the punishment or detour it a bit and besides, with the way the party is going I'll get a better nights rest away anyway. I'll be back..."

After she spoke those words, she headed for the door and paused for a moment before stepping into the hall to glance back at the girl."My name is Nova by the way. Just though you might like to know. I'll return shortly." Nova quickly exited out of the room, heading back into the ballroom with not much notice of others and silently started packing up her stuff. Once she was finished, Nova quietly slipped back out of the ballroom and joined the girl back in the lecture hall, setting up her sleeping bag once more.

Liam Yugure - Beacon ballroom - Monday night
@Bigg Slamm @rex @ryukan

After downing a few more shots Liam rememberex that he was still at school and tomorrow probably needed a much needed rest. After hr downed his next shot he slammed the glass down.

"Thankyou for the drinks good friend. But im gonna hit the hay and get some rest for tomorrow." he waved goodbye and walked to the bathroom to change into his tracksuit pants. He stared at the scars across his chest and sighed. He walked out, shirtless, and couldn't help but notice a small group of girls stare. He flexed a little and gave a slight chuckle.
This training definitely paid off...
He set up his sleeping arrangements in an darker area where there weren't many people and lied down staring at the ceiling wondering what was to come.

Cyra Zylvan - Lecture Hall - Monday Night

@Akayaofthemoon

It wasn't until the girl had slipped into the hallway that breath exploded from Cyra's lungs, and she staggered a little. She had been so nervous about what the girl's response would be, and the relief that she wasn't going to push the subject was palpable. Sure, now Cyra had to deal with her sleeping in the room with her, but that was managable.

By the time the girl returned, Cyra had already changed and was deeply cocooned inside her sleeping bag, hidden behind one of the desks. Not even her head was visible, the edge of the bag pulled low over her face.

She peered out as the girl carried her things to the center of the floor and lay them out in silence. It still bothered her that the girl cared so much. Nova, she said her name was. Cyra blushed again and buried her face in the crook of her arm, then sighed to herself and crawled out.

As she padded over to kneel beside the resting girl, she shivered slightly. This would be the least amount of layers she had ever worn with someone other than her mother. A sweatshirt, sweatpants, and her scarf wrapped around her neck. "It's... it's nice to meet you Nova," she whispered, "I'm Cyra. Thank you."

She ducked her head as the other girl turned to look at her for a moment. "Nice to meet you, Cyra. Good night."

Cyra crept back to her sleeping bag, a pleasant sense of warmth blooming in her chest and colouring her cheeks. As she nestled down, her mind drifted back many years, when her mother would come home late, and Cyra would stay up waiting for her, just so she could sing her to sleep.

Closing her eyes, Cyra hummed that same old tune.

Orlan Price - Beacon Academy Ballroom - Monday Night

While Orlan kept himself apart, the party taking up the center of the ballroom slowly died down. Some of the students fell into drunken stupors, while others passed out completely. Those lucky enough to be able to hold their liquor stayed up longer, chatting and drinking more until alas, all the rum was gone. At some point Orlan noticed the figure of another student slip into the room, only to exit again moments later. It was only seconds after that that he decided that he should turn in himself. He would rise with the sun, and not be cursing himself like so many others. He did not get up to change, already down to only the pants he had worn that day. If his figure had drawn any looks, he hadn't noticed.

Spreading out on his sleeping bag, Orlan folds his arms up behind his head and closes his eyes. Having trained to be a soldier for much of his life, the low murmur of others' voices was no obstacle to his sleep. Seconds after his eyes close the world around him fades into oblivion, to be replaced by visions of glorious combat.

Renji Yamada - Beacon Ballroom - Monday Night

Renji kept up with Morgan exchanging "war stories" until the rum was gone. Excusing himself he made way to the bathroom to break the seal before bed. Returning to his bedroll he opened up his weapon case and took out an fire dust ammo cartridge. Closing the case gently Renji found a clear spot nearby and sat lotus style. He closed his eyes and began to mumble mantras activating his semblance. Drawing the symbol for metabolism with the ammo on the floor he concentrated on raising his metabolism. After a minute of chanting the ammo burst into a million pieces as his body absorbed the energy, replenishing his aura, and burning off the alcohol in his system. Feeling much better Renji yawned deeply. It had been a long day. Returning to his bedroll he faced to the east and bowed prone saying his nightly prayers. He added to his usual requests to the gods for protection of him and his fellow students from too much harm. Laying down and wrapping himself into his blanket he was soon asleep.

Razor WhiteFang - Beacon Academy Ballroom - Monday night

@Bigg Slamm@ryukan

Razor thanked Morgan before he downed his second shot. He shrugged when Morgan talked about the jackal Faunus tribe and said, “Dad said all canine tribes have different reasons for painting their bodies. We really don’t associate ourselves with other tribes. Something about bad politics, but I don’t get involved with stuff like that.” The thought of his father and the rest of the villagers brought back the memories of when he woke up in the medical hut and how they treated him like a wild animal after his Semblance first activated. Razor sighed and placed the cup on the table.

“You can joke all you want Caption Hook, but in the end the Grimm won’t just stop attacking if you offer them a pint,” Razor said before he continued, “This is a war between creatures that to think or feel. All they know how to do it kill. You want to act like nothing is wrong then go right ahead, but just know what ever team you’re on will suffer because of you.” Sorry Morgan, but to ensure no one gets hurt because of my Semblance. This has to be done Razor thought.

“Maybe your monk friend could teach you about how inner peace is the most powerful weapon or some BS their dumb religion believes in when he wakes up,” Razor said before he turned and walked towards the door and added, “I’m finding a place outside to sleep, this place smells too much.” Again, sorry, but I need to be away from everyone if my Semblance activates.

Collaboration
between
@agentmanatee as Heather Di Mint of Team PYCH
and
@datadogie as Sapphire Pearl and @OneWayOut as Fern Flora of Team FRST

Heather felt herself wake up, her eyes still closed but conscious, she sighed happily, it was really warm in the bed. She had some kind of... pillow? Something was in her arms... and was very warm. Heather slowly opened her eyes, staring straight at a sleeping Sapphire, and became very confused at first, her drowsy mind still catching up. "Why is Sapphire in bed with me? Why am I in bed with Sapphire..." her mind suddenly connected her current situation to the events of the night before, Heather blushing in response to the realization that Sapphire had slept in Heather's bed because they had... they had... kissed the night before and Sapphire said she loved Heather, and Heather said it back... Heather's mind was back in a flurry, recalling the events of last night and simultaneously trying to comprehend what she was supposed to do now. All she seemed to be able to focus on was the face of the cat faunus in perfect sleeping bliss, unable to look away as her mind raced to find the next correct course of action.

It wasn't long after Heather awoke that Sapphire herself started to stir in her sleep, her eyelids opening partially as she tried to fall back to sleep. Failing that, she yawned and peered at the deer already awake in front of her. "Good morning, bambi," she whispers, a smile forming on her face as if it was natural for it to appear.

"Uh... ummm... goo-good morning uh... Sa-sapphire..." Heather hadn't realized she needed to give Sapphire a... what did people call it? A nickname? But when a couple made them they were... pet names? Heather didn't have one thought up, whatever it was called, and had just stammered out Sapphire's name... she could stay like this forever. Or, rather she wished she could... then her stomach gave a frankly fightenening growl... Heather hadn't eaten anything since yesterday morning, and that was just a breakfast pastry at a cafe... "uuuhhhh... sorry... I haven't eaten and uh... wanna go uh... get breakfast?" she asked Sapphire nervously, Heather was still new to the idea of what a "couple" actually did in real life.

Sapphire's eyebrows shot up when she heard the growl from her lover's stomach, giggle escaping her before her own stomach communicated a growl of it's own. "I didn't eat much yesterday, too. It's a shame someone seduced me to bed," she comments, adding in a wink for effect. "Let's go to the food place. Cafe. Resteraunt? Whatever you call it on a ship." Laughing, Sapphire leans in, gently placing a kiss on Heather's nose before sliding out of bed and putting her armour into place.

Heather chuckled at Sapphire's lack of nautical knowledge, "It's called the mess hall... everyone eats there." Heather followed Sapphire out of bed and put on her own armor, along with her boots. Before they left she mad sure to get Sapphire's scroll off the floor, "Uh... here's your scroll... kitty?" what a pitiful attempt, and heather knew it... she'd have to wok harder than that. She grabbed Malice and stood waiting for Sapphire to finish getting ready as well, her stomach grumbling quietly again.

Once Sapphire had put back on her apparel, she takes her scroll back with a wink. "Good try, I like it," she comments, walking over to Heather and taking her hand. "Let's go, love."

After ten minutes of walking, Sapphire not telling Heather that she was actually lost within the ship, they walk into the mess hall. Spying out where a small queue was formed, Sapphire drags her girlfriend over to it, her hand tightening for a moment as a smile formed on her face. She saw tuna as one of the options for breakfast.

Heather searched the menu, looking for something more... green? She noticed a severe lack of vegetarian options, envious of how easily Sapphire was able to get what she wanted. Eventually she settled on cooked carrots and grean beans, just ALOT of them, as they were really the only vegetaables available... she also got an apple before following Sapphire to a table and sitting, finally able to eat.

Just as the two faunus would sit down and start to enjoy their meals, they would each feel a hand on their shoulder and Fern's head would suddenly appear between the two girls.

"Well now, if it isn't my two best friends..." she spoke, her voice sounding low and menacing. "Would either of you care to tell me what exactly is going on here?"

As she finished speaking, she would squeeze herself between the two of them, stealing a bit of food from each of their plates as she did. "You know, I thought perhaps that... surprising message Sapphire sent me last night was just a joke or something. But now that I see you two are... closer, I'm thinking I should be filled in on the details."

Sapphire began to smile as she saw Fern appearing inbetween them, however the smile immediately began to fade as she heard the tone of voice that her team captain was using. "F-Fern... I can... I can explain..." The cat Faunus began, only, she couldn't explain. "W-Why d-do you sound m-mad?" She asks, tapping her fingers together. Heather was equally in utter fear.

"Mad? Noooo, how could I be mad?" Fern said with a laugh, though she sounded sarcastic. "My best friend is in love with someone and the first time I'm hearing about it is... through a message." she glanced over at Heather before putting an arm around the girl's shoulders. "Now don't get me wrong. I approve." she said, though she looked back at Sapphire with a glare. "Though I should have been consulted first."

W-well Fern, you see... we uh... well I fell... and the ship... we um, talked after uh... I hugged...," Heather was panicking again, her "speech" little more than babbling nonsense again. She tried in vain to explain why Sapphire couldn't have consulted Fern, "And Sapphire... or Chesh um... she said spar and... the cargo hold was... um... fighting and I sorta uh... squeezed her and then we uh... we uhh... ," this could go on for a little while if someone didn't stop it. Meanwhile, Sapphire teared up. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."

Fern sighed and smiled. "Both of you, calm down. I guess I was just... surprised, that's all. And I probably didn't get enough sleep last night." she added with a mumble. She looked between the two of them again. "So... is this like, for real? I mean... You two are a couple?"

The cat girl breathed a sigh of relief as Fern started to smile, and calm down. She removed her hand from where it was sitting, on top of Gemtra, not even realizing she had moved it there. I guess I am getting... Defensive, she thought.
"Y-Yes," Sapphire finally replies. She places one of her hands on top of one of Heather's, a small smile forming on her face. "We really are." Heather smiled nervously, her babbling cut off by Fern and Sapphire's statements, putting her own hand on Sapphire's, "Well... it... it is my first uh... you know... relationship? And Cheshire is my... first... girlfriend? And it was really fast but uh... I know... I uh know I.. want to be with her so... yes we are a... couple." Heather's face was red again, but she was brought out of her blush by her stomach again, and she grimaced looking at Fern, "Um.. can... can we uh... eat before we talk anymore?... I'm really hungry...", Heather smiled, but caught Sapphires eyes... her smile was so pretty... her lips... Heather forgot Fern was even there, ignoring the fact FRST leader was even there, and pulled Sapphire right in front of her and kissed the cat faunus, similar to the one last night, but more passionate, and more sure. Sapphire blushes, but accepts the kiss, wrapping her arms around the taller girl.

Fern nearly choked on the food she was eating and she leaned away as the two girls shared a moment right in front of her. For a moment she just sat there, stunned, and the next, she reached out and grabbed an ear of both girls, pulling on them until they seperated.

"Hey! Get a room you two, geez." she complained. "You guys need to keep your heads on straight. This is no time to be... be... " Fern was rendered speechless as her face turned red. She rolled her eyes before releasing the two faunus and standing up.

"I'm gonna go... wake up Rust." she said, looking embarassed. With a quick wave, she practically ran out of the hall.

Sapphire's face even darker as Fern pulls them apart before moving out of the mess hall, seemingly as fast as she could. "Huh... I... I guess she... She couldn't take watching the most beautiful bambi being taken by me..." she giggles, laying her head on Heather's shoulder.

Heather certainly didn't enjoy her ear being pulled, as sensitive as they were, but as quickly as she let go it wasn't so bad. Heather gigled at Sapphire's comment, but she was a bit worried she had made a mistake kissing Sapphire in front of Fern, "Uh... a-are you... was that ok? Did... did I like... mess up kissing you?... Is she mad or..." Heather was worried, but right now she was hungry. She looked at Sapphire's head on her shoulder, and debated kissing her again, but decided she had to make it not a constant thing, and she was hungry. "Lets uh... eat and then... I uh... don't know... " Heather blushed, unsure where to continue, and started eating, not sure where she was going.

"Heather... She won't be mad..." Sapphire responds, before adding on, "Y-You didn't mess up kissing me. It was the most amazing I have ever had." She began to eat, purring the occaisional flirtatious comment toward Heather as she finished her tuna.

Heather's face turned the color of blood at Sapphire's complement, seeing as it had literllly been her second kiss, and the second one she had ever initiated. She finished her food, red faced the whole time, then turned to her girlfriend... it still felt weird to think that she was with Sapphire, "Uh... re-... really? I... uh... your um... not really... you don't, meant that... right...? Heather again had to consciously stop herself from kissing Sapphire again, wanting little more than to feel her lips again.

The younger girl slowly nods. "I... I mean it. I mean everything. I love you, Heather," she purrs to her girlfriend. She straddles the bench, turning to face Heather directly. "So, what do you want to do now? How close are we to Patch?", she asks.

Heather thought a moment, shrugging her shoulders, "Uh... like... close-ish? I'm not sure... maybe we have a few hours? I'm not sure... I uh... what eh... do you want to uh... do... cheshire?" Heather was still nervous, and she looked at Sapphire straddling the bench... her face still as red as blood.

Sapphire blushes, as red as a tomato. "Cheshire... I love that name," she laughs. "I'll do anything with you, Bambi. We could just sit and talk about ourselves, but... Maybe we could play Remnant: The Game or something," she suggests.

Heather shrugged, smiling at Sapphire, "That uh... sounds like fun! Wanna go back to the cabin to play it or...? Heather was happy to play omething with Sapphire, no matter what it was.

Sapphire chuckles to herself. "Well... Let's go to our cabin, then. There's still plenty of time. Maybe..." She shook her head in disbelief of herself. "Maybe there are more things to do than just Remnant."

Heather smiled, not quite getting what Sapphire was saying, "Sure! Uh... whatever you want Cheshire... " Heather used the name Sapphire said she liked, and stood up, taking Sapphire's hand in her own as they walked to their cabin to pass the time before arrivng at Patch, happy so long as Sapphire was.

Orlan Price - Beacon Academy Ballroom - Tuesday, Sunrise

As the light of the sun began to grace the world anew, Orlan's eyes popped open suddenly. Remaining comepletely still for moment, he examined his surroundings before recalling that he had finally made it to Beacon. Anxiety and excitement over the coming initiation scoured the weariness from his muscles and he sat with a grin. From what he saw, he was one of the first awake, if not currently the only one in the room.

Trying to make as little noise as possible, Orlan starts to prepare for the day ahead. From his bag, he pulls on a simple long-sleeved brown shirt. Covering his left forearm and the sleeve beneath went Aegis, the polished quartz sparkling as it catches the morning's rays. More armor went on over the shirt, but it was generally lightweight and nowhere near as flashy as Aegis. His thick jacket covered his back, shoulders, and arms, but he leaves the front open. This left some of the armor on his chest and the glint of Aegis on the back of his hand as his only visible protection. Finally, he secures Axios to his hip on his right, and a pouch of ammunition on his left. Thus armed, he quietly packs his remaining things back into his bag.

Slinging the pack over his shoulder, Orlan exits the room silently only to lean against the wall just outside. He didn't want to wake the others, but he also did not want to be far from them when the announcement came.

Cyra Zylvan - Beacon Courtyard - Tuesday Morning

Morning found Cyra awake, changed and outside before the sun was even up. She knew what today was: initiation. Today, she would learn who her teammates would be, the people she would be living with and fighting beside for the next four years. That in itself had made her sleep fitful.

The part that worried her the most was that she had no idea how the teams would be made. She hoped that they would be able to choose amongst themselves; that way she would be able to join the other Faunus, which would make life marginally easier. It would still be difficult, but they would at least be understanding about how she felt. She doubted that she was the first Faunus student at Beacon to hide what they were. The worst case scenario was that her future teammates were all human; people who fought together had to be able to trust one another, and she would be lying to them from the start. She didn’t know how long she would be able to hide it for.

Kneeling on the dewy grass, the knees and shins of her sweat pants stained a dark purple, Cyra took a deep breath as she absorbed the feeling of the earth. She needed to feel that reassurance, that strength if she was going to make it. Out here, separated from all she knew and was familiar with, it was all she had.

Opening her eyes, she looked down at her suitcase. And these, of course. She had had all her things packed up and moved into the ballroom before Nova had even woken up. Thankfully, no one had come looking for them in the night. In fact, Cyra doubted anyone else had even noticed her missing.

She reached down and undid the clasps on the suitcase, pulling the lid open. Inside, stacked on top of one another in a bed of thick foam, lay Khthon and Lithos. Each a shield almost the same width and height as her own torso, a small triangle protruding from one end. Her first, last, and strongest line of defense against the world. She ran her fingers along the cool metal, smiling softly, and lifted the heavy shields from their place. Along the curved inside of each shield was a thick strap that she slid her arm through, and fitted her hand into the controller glove. As she did so, a holographic display flickered into existence over her palm, the haptic feedback buzzing against her fingertips.

Cyra stood, holding each shield in front of her. A tapped out command, and the bottom and sides extended out, until each shield was wider than her shoulders and reached from her chin to her knees. Another command and the shields retracted. A third, and the small triangle at the top edge extended, then separated into a pair of prongs, a soft whine filling the air. A fourth command, and the whine stopped, the prongs clamping together and recessing. Again, she extended the shields to their full size, this time clapping them together, interlock mechanisms in the sides securely grabbing hold. A final command, and the shields disconnected, retracting into their dormant state. Cyra smiled. She’d have to test the firing mechanisms later, but now, she was confident.

She was Cyra Zylvan. Whatever came her way, she would endure.
