Sunken ship. Sunken heart. Her life fleeting the moment she realized her grave mistake. With wide eyes, her lips slightly ajar, Nessarose stared at Nathan with a feeling of disbelief. Shaking legs. Racing beat in her chest. The parched earth inside her mouth as she took a step back from his intensity. Scared and afraid, but still captivated. Tears wanted to well up in her eyes but she swallowed her emotions in and listened to his melodious voice. Get a grip! Don't make him think you're a weirdo... but you are a weirdo... shut up.

As he introduced himself, she took his hand and felt the firmness of his grip and the roughness of skin. Don't you dare blush. Trying to remember the feeling of his touch, she mustered up words in response, surprisingly coming off bubbly and energetic, revealing no form of weakness (yet), "Oh! I'm so sorry. You're right, I thought you were Nicholas. He was one of my first friends here." Trying to keep her train of thought, she lowly muttered, "I didn't mean to interrupt anything." Her chestnut orbs watched as he checked his phone while she spoke, saddened that he wasn't even taking her in.

With a faux smile, the young girl continued, cheery as ever, "I'm Nessa. Nessarose. Delighted to make your acquaintance, Nathan." Although her face had a smile, her eyes reflected her inner emotions of humiliation and anxiety. She came off strangely polite, not wanting to offend him anymore than she probably already did. Taking a deep breath in, the small girl attempted to make her retreat, "I guess I'll go catch him. Here, have this." She handed him a dandelion as an offering of forgiveness, "Maybe, make a wish and it'll come true? It's silly but who knows what this summer will bring, right? I'm sorry again... Um...so yeah, see you." Turning around and feeling her legs move on it's own, she tried to pick up her speed, not wanting to look at his reaction of utter disdain or disgust.

Her phone vibrated a couple of times, but she decided to check it later. Noticing Hana, Nessa hid behind a crowd of people, not in the mood to hangout or change attire. Nathan probably could see her hiding behind strangers just so she wasn't seen by the dominant queen. Her opportunity came when everyone's attention went towards Jackson's loud self. Looking down to the floor, she walked passed Hana, who wasn't looking in her direction. Ness' natural water mist and river moss scent trailed off her as she held her breath in, nervously.

The moment she stepped out the door she ran like the wind, hoping that her Pink sister didn't catch sight of her. Hell, she hoped none of her Pink sisters saw her or bear witnessed to the unfolding of her impending doom. Don't get her wrong, she truly liked them. Her mind was not mentally prepared to handle them, is all.

Nessa charged to the place that she would always know where to find: the large oak tree. Coming to a halt when she saw an unfamiliar Latina shaking her bottom in the Pink cabin, the door wide open, Nessa stared in awe and lost her original train of thought. Poking her head in the door, the adorable girl smiled, "Hey! Looks like our beds are near each other. I'm Nessa! Mind teaching me some of your dance moves later?" If this woman was on her team and knew how to dance that good, maybe she could teach her how to impress Nate? After Fiorella responded, the squirrel minded girl swiftly dismissed herself, making sure her voice was heard over the music, "Check out the Main Hall! There's a bunch of people I bet would love to meet you. I can't talk right now... I have somewhere to be. See you at intros!"

Heading to the outskirts of camp, running, running as fast as her little body can, she finally made it to her destination. Not searching for Holden nor thinking about him in this moment, her knees dropped to the ground. Her face planted itself in the grass as she rolled around in complete and utter shame. After tossing and turning for a long moment, taking in the nature around her, she laid on her back and stared at the tree leaves and the light blue sky. Her gaze followed a branch until it stumbled upon the man hanging on it, "Oh, hi Holden."

Picking herself up and brushing the mess off her button up shirt, her hat had fallen off during her release of emotions. Looking up toward Holden, the girl smiled, "Have you ever embarrassed yourself so much you just wanted to die? Yeah, that was me, happy first day of camp!"

As Nessa climbed to her spot, her rant took flight, like she usually would do last year, "Some twins are really hard to tell apart. You know how I'm all friendly and happy to see my friends, right? Well, I thought Nicholas was in the Main Hall." She stopped for a moment as she situated herself on a branch. Her branch.

"I gave him a warm hug and then DOOOOOOOOOOOOM." Covering her face as it flushed with pink, she added, muffling her voice, "...He was so uninterested in me. I'm dull, aren't I? I mean, compared to other girls. There was this sexy Spanish lady in the Cabin. My butt is nothing compared to her's." Bringing her hands down, she rested her head on the tree trunk and stared out at the vast beauty of the world, "Nathan will remember me forever as that weirdo who hugged the wrong person."

Maybe she should check her phone to not make anyone worry about her whereabouts? Sighing to herself, she looked toward the man and apologized, "Sorry for the rudeness, I just don't want anyone to be suspicious or anything. I got a couple of texts while I was dying, so I need to take care of that, I guess." Nessa was extremely considerate when it came to her phone.

To: Hanabanana
Did you know sunshine is the best medicine? Get your vitamin D!

To: Girlateers<3
Hey!!! You're a diamond, dear. No one can break you! I'm like a star. Always at your side whether night or day! :D Miss you both xoxo.

Quickly, she sent Adielle and Jess a picture of herself sticking out her tongue, crossing her eyes, and showing the leaves behind her to hint that she was indeed at camp.

Putting her phone back away, Nessa sighed once more, "Where were we? Oh yeah, me being a fool!"

Location;; The Main Hall
Interacting With;; In person: Oliver (@foxygen), Ariel (@HaleyTheRandom), Eli & Mention of Jackson (@Altered Tundra)

Aisling watched the boy carefully and silently as he reacted to her with an automatic defense mechanism. Her eyes never wavered from his, intimidating but reassuring in the sense that she was purely paying attention to him. She was able to catch sight of his tight grasp on the delicate flower. While they walked, she observed his posture, his attitude, his voice, and other little things. A smirk fell on her face when he mentioned "wishing". Sweet sentiment. It felt like only yesterday when she was in a similar position, though less introverted-- far more verbal in a bitter sense.

Taking her seat, not on the couch but on a bench by a nearby table, Ash put one leg over it and straddled the chair. Patting the open space in front of her for Oli to sit beside her, she looked toward their teammates, trying to pin their current moods down.

Nothing out of the ordinary, that was always nice.

Taking it upon herself, Ash introduced them, "These two have been here for 2 years. Eli and Ariel. If you want to know more deats, just ask them. They aren't too terrible once you get to know them. Sometimes." A light chuckle slipped out of her lips, as she winked at the troublemakers that loved to test her patience.

Once Oliver took his seat, she commented on his absentminded thought, "My wish was to make a friend my first day. Someone who would make my days here worth waking up to. He's not here yet, but since day 1, Ghost, or well Alex, has dealt with a lot of my shit, good and bad." Resting her chin on her hand, she carefully watched the youngest of Team Grey. With slight annoyance, she added, "Welcome to Camp Liberty. The clique-camp of the century. All of us here..." Her gaze met with Eli's, then Ariel's, then back to Oli's, "We're the in-betweens. The ones that others hesitate to approach because they don't understand what they see. 'A mystery'." Rolling her eyes at the obvious stereotypes in this camp, she wondered if her talking eased his nervousness or made it worse.

Suddenly, Jackson came in yelling at the front. Bringing her voice a little low, only directing her next words to Oliver, Ash commented on the loud man, "That's Jackson, a hothead and a fool. Be careful around him, he doesn't think before he does something. His heart is in the right place... but he's impulsive as fuck. He and Eli got in a 'disagreement' last year..." A sudden thought popped in her head, "Oh! That reminds me." Taking off her backpack, the woman grabbed her notebook and scribbled her digits on it. Ripping the paper out, she handed it to the youngster.

"I'm here if you need someone. If you get lost, if you don't feel well, or if you're uncomfortable. Anything really. Call me and I'll be there in a heartbeat." Her honesty was straight to the point, extremely forward, and unbelievably genuine. There was no trickery in her expression that had softened after their introductions. She wanted to come off as someone who would be there for him if he needed it.

Feeling her phone vibrate, she decided to silence it and check her messages later. Right now, she wanted to spend time with her teammates.

Interacting With; Sierra via intrigued glance @Dirty Pretty Lies, Team Grey @HaleyTheRandom @foxygen @lovely complex

Not much was going on, it seemed. Aside from everyone with their respective teams and that annoying little shit, Jackson, making a complete idiot of himself by being him, Eli saw nothing really happening. Granted, he wasn't doing anything either. The only thing he seemed to be doing was lounging around with his team on a couch next to Ariel, who by the way was relatively silent.

Ash, on the other hand, seemed to be more vocal. She was mainly speaking to the new guy - Oliver was it - about who everyone was and who the actual leader of the Grey Team was. To be quite honest, Eli didn't recognize Ghost as their leader. Through no fault but his own, he never seemed to be fit for a leader of the misfits of Camp Liberty. He wasn't the leader type. Only reason he seemed to be leader was because the guy was more distant than most of any of the Team Grey members that have come and gone in Eli's now third year attending Camp Liberty. In his opinion, Eli saw Ash being the rightful leader of Team Grey. Of course, that's just him, so he didn't even bother mention it to anyone. Besides, Ghost never was around, so why would he?

Taking his attention away from his team just briefly, Eli took notice to the new arrivals in The Main Hall. While they came in the large numbers, Eli noticed one in jean shorts and an Avengers T-shirt. Dark hair and slender figure, and the faint smell of nicotine. It didn't matter how many different smells there were in the room, a chain smoker like Eli could recognize that smell out of most in any room he was in. There was something unique about it to him. The way its stench overtook the other smells in any room. In any case, Eli's eyes briefly locked onto that one until she seemed to disappear from the masses, and went into the Media Room. Eli chuckled. He would keep an eye on that one, fore sure.

Eli turned his gaze to Oliver, who was getting quite familiar with Ash. "Oliver was it? Why don't you tell us - your team - about yourself? Surely, even for someone who is, as our great leader said, the In-Betweens of Camp Liberty, has something of interest about themselves." Eli spoke with a poetic, thoughtful tune. One could confuse it for a lecturer or something like that.

"So. Many. PEEEEEEEOPLEEEEEEE!!!!"

Indeed there was quite the amount of people. Everyone all seperated to their colored teams. The arrogant blue with arrogant blue, the courageous, kind purple with courageous, kind purple, sassy pink with sassy pink, dull grey with dull grey, and red..

"Wait, where are my peeps!? NOOOOOOOOO! This was an outrage. No, this was more than an outrage. IT WAS MADNESS! How could Team Red not be thrashing people around? How could they not be loud as fuck. Did no one know how to make an entrnace? Were we doomed to be overshadowed by that entitled Hana? This could not beeeeeeee!

Truly, Jackson was sad by the fact that it seemed the only reds that were present was that quiet Madison, the rude-as-fuck Math(or is it Mathius? Something like that, anyways), but no Audrey! This wasn't fair. Why did she have to be gone? The faithful leader had to be present for Jackson's arrival, but she wasn't. Totally unfair man, ya know? She missed the most epic introduction.

Jackson was standing there, in the middle of the hall, trying to find something to do. It was too closed of an area for him to do anything reckless, so what should he do? "Hmm, this sucks for sure." Jackson let out a long, exasperated sigh. His eyes fell to the Team Grey area. "OH!" he saw someone. "AAAAASSSSHHHHH!!!!!!" Jackson yelled, waving wildly at his dear friend, Aisling Hawthorne, or as she preferred, Ash. He ran towards her, taking an aimed jump off his right foot, and corkscrewed his body once as he was aiming to land next to the darkly-dressed beaut. He missed. Instead, he tripped over the table in front of the set of couches, and was face-first, inches away from Ash's feet. He propped up instantly, looking at Ash and everyone else just as if he had nailed it - not flailed it. "I meant to do that." he didn't, but at least he owned it...somewhat. "Oi, Ash! What's goin' on!?" Jack gave her a cheek-to-cheek grin.

Location: Blue Cabins
Interacting With: Richard @Liriia and Astrid King @McHaggis, Jess Rieger @Undine and Emilie Parker @Lockerz via text

Waking up to an empty cabin, Alex was pleased with the quiet atmosphere and the fact that today was one of the rare days she would be able to sleep in during camp. With the hours that they expected the campers to "get up and at em" at, Alex felt like they were military soldiers who had to hear that stupid bugle call that was used to wake them up. When she had arrived on the grounds yesterday evening, she didn't have to go through the already painful process of checking in with a long line of confused first timers unsure of how to proceed and would hold the line up even more. As she was shown her rooming arrangement and handed her key, she quickly scanned who she would be living with this year. Groaning under her breath, she rolled her eyes and prayed that the blonde girl she would be staying with for six weeks would suddenly not show up this year. In truth, it wasn't that bad; sure she had to deal with someone she didn't like but one of her closer friends was also with her and the other was someone she didn't care for when she could have potentially ended up with people she hated. But Alex didn't settle and if something didn't accommodate her every will specifically, she wanted it to be changed so it would.

Before she went on her way to go quickly claim the best bed and bathroom for herself, she looked for one other person's name on the list. As she scanned the group of names, the brunette's small lips pulled down into a frown and her brows furrowed. Richard would be placed with that creepy psycho Fox; the stone faced mute always left her feeling unsettled. However, she didn't feel concern on her friend's part since she knew he could take care of himself. But she would warn him when she next saw him just to be safe. Alek was also rooming with the other two and a smile unknowingly made its way onto the girl's face. The tall boy that was insanely sweet was called Teddy by her for a reason. Taking note that the cabin was only two spots down, Alex was pleased that at least a few of her friends would be close to her. Snorting with a raised eyebrow, the girl thought of how Astrid would be excited too that her brother wouldn't be too far from them this year as she picked up her luggage and headed to her cabin.

Still waking up a lot earlier than she would have appreciated, Alex got to work and began her day by getting ready... to look absolutely perfect. It wasn't because today would be the first official day of camp or because she would be seeing all her old friends again; it was simply the first thing she made sure to do every time she woke up. During some time while she was in the shower, she had gotten a text from one of her only few girl friends, Jess. Once she stepped out and saw the blinking light notifying her of a new message, she replied to the preppy pink member.

To: Jessica Rieger
hey girl! come by the blue cabins!! i think astrid and richard might already be here. im about to go check.

Having just finished doing her hair, Alex heard her phone chime with another alert and quickly picked it up with a wide grin, having assumed it was Jess replying to her earlier text. However, her expression quickly morphed to one of initial confusion to irritation and exasperation. "Who the fuck gave this bitch my number?" Alex asked in the empty restroom as she violently typed back.

To: 734-555-3726
FUCK. OFF. don't use this number again or i'm blocking you

The blonde harasser was lucky that she had contacted Alex before she started on her makeup or she would have wound up pissing the other off for the whole day and getting the short end of her rage. To the vain girl, there was something soothing about staring at her own face up close for fifteen minutes and slowly changing it to look even better (not that the self absorbed dive didn't already think she looked exceptional bare faced). By the time she had used up a whole hour and twenty minutes to get ready, Alex had forty minutes left before she would have to head to the main hall for orientation formalities. Stepping out of her cabin, she let the door close before making the short trip two cabins down to her destination. Hopefully there would be someone in... that wasn't Fox.

Standing at the door, she straightened her appearance once again from the last five minutes she had done so. Violently, she threw open the door before throwing her arms in the air and announcing her arrival with a grandiose, "Walk up in the club like, 'What up, I got a big cock!'" smiling vibrantly.

Serafina ‘Ariel’ Gray

Location;;The Main Hall
Interacting with;;Ash @lovely complex, Eli & Jackson @Altered Tundra, Oli @foxygen (In Person) Sierra via text @Dirty Pretty Lies

While responding to her texts, tweets, blog comments and etcetera, Ariel would receive a text back from no other than her darling, graciously fabulous, mother figure. However, she didn't have time to respond before the door to the Main Hall opened once before to reveal none other than the Grey Teams Queen, nonetheless. With a quick nod to her 'wait a moment' gesture, Ariel would turn back to her previous task. Of course everyone that was currently entering would think that she was obsessed with her devices, but that was not the case. She was trying to juggle her slight internet fame so she could hopefully take a day off to spend time with her second family. When she did return to her device, however, she received a replying text from Sierra as well.

To: Ariel The Kitten Not The Mermaid
We spent the whole night together yesterday, Kitty. I know very well that you’re here at camp. ;D LOL XD
Anyway, meeting a friend ATM. I’ll catch you afterwards.
PS: Hope you have a few hot friends you can introduce me to! I wanna have myself some intimate company while I’m here.

She let a slight smile appear on her face, still slightly surprised that she had not found a reason to listen to her music just yet.

To: Sierra (The Newest Badass In Town)
Oh hush, you. :P No problemo, of course. Just don't forget about me.
PS: You know I do and would be happy to assist you upon this mission. ;D

Next thing you knew, the first pink to arrive in the Main Hall made a flashy entrance, of course. With a love of mocking these people, and Hana Park being the case here, with her love of the dramatics, Ariel couldn't help but give in to making a tad of fun with a smart remark. Phone still in hand, she would use a finger on her other hand, twirling her hair around it in a sassy way before saying: "As if!" in a fake over exaggerated girly voice. People kept coming in, and the faces were becoming more and more familiar as Eli, her Ride or Die 'Squad Mate' showed up clad in a fabulous almost all black outfit. As usual, he gave a light wave. "Hey to you too, fam," she said with a slight smile. It seemed that she just simply couldn't wipe the smile from her face, her happiness possibly infecting others. "How was your summer?
"
It was at this moment that Ashely brought over a new family team member. Oliver he was called. "Heya love," she said. "No reason to wish for anything, unless you absolutely want to. You have the best thing right here. By default your now a part of out little family. Just have to wait for dad to get here. Ash is mom, of course." Ariel shot the girl a wink, a slight chuckle escaping her lips.

Next thing you knew, Jackson was literally tripping over Ash. "Child! What the hell are you doing?!" she shouted at him in a joking manner. She was to happy about seeing all of her friends and a new introduction at the moment.

Shawn Adam Hunter & Raven Aster Willow

Location;; Green Cabin/Blue Cabin -> Main Hall
Interacting with;; Themselves. (Shawn: Nicoletta: @Fabricant451)

Raven had been down by the lake, doing her best to clear her head. Of course, there was nothing really on her mind, just another happy, jittery mood caused by her and her friends return to Camp Liberty. The girl may have been decked out in red, but her Team Blue pride ran through and through.

Sneaking up behind her, Shawn would jump out at his sister, his hands grabbing her sides while he tickled her. With a startled look, she turned around on him, her face slightly furious as she tried to
"Shawn! How many times do I have to tell you I hate that! And are you seriously wearing that today?! I can't seriously believe that you chose that for you first day outfit," Raven said to her brother.

"Oh come on. It's my favorite shirt".

"Fair enough, but it doesn't go with Converse, though I'm congratulating you on the khaki shorts. They look half decent."

Shawn rolled his eyes. "Well in that case, at least one of us looks decent. Oh hey, did you hear about that girl who tried to get into Pink but ended up in one of the Green Cabins?"

"Ugh. Pitiful."

"Don't make fun. You used to couldn't stand Camp."

Raven heard sounds of laughter. Looking around, she seen people heading towards the Main Hall. It had to be for the annual introductions. She didn't want to go just yet, but of course Shawn, seeing her face, grabbed her wrist and started to pull her along.

"Stop it, Shawn! What the hell are you doing?"

"Taking you with me."

It was Raven's turn to roll her eyes as she half walked while being pulled along. "I hate you. I really, truly do. I will steal all of your cheese and make sure that all of your progress on Fall-Out four is deleted from your PC."

Shawn stopped dead in his tracks, still holding the young womans wrist. His face was astonished. "That is the most monstrous thing that you have ever said to me." He went back to dragging her along.

Raven yanked her hand away. "Stop freaking dragging me. We're both headed in the same damn direction."

"Hey, hey, no reason to be more hostile. Calm your tits."

The girl scoffed. The two of them continued to walk towards the Main Hall as the poked each other and did other childish things. Walking through the doors, Ravens heels would click as she walked over to Blues default spot and sat down, answering a text or two. Shawn, however, spotted the girl that he had mentioned to his sister. Of course he had never seen her, but the description that people had given him barely the basics of her appearance. She had a certain badassery to her, as well as a slight natural beauty with her dark hair.

What the hell, he though, walking on over. Taking the empty seat beside her, he would jump right into talking. "I, uh, heard about you little Cabin mishap and just wanted to say sorry and welcome you to Camp Liberty as well as the Green Team. Thinking about it for a split second, he held out his hand for her to shake it in a friendly manner. "Names Shawn, by the way. I'm one of your team mates."

'Scared to death I'll never feel alright
Ten paces more like miles
Lips cracked, fake a smile'

Nicoletta was surrounded by people that seemed to know each other and embrace each other, the smiles on faces, the positive conversations as people play catch up and make up for lost amounts of time, and even people who simply wanted to catch attention as if their arrival was the most important event of the day. And tucked away from it all, tapping her foot on the floor and still feeling as if coming here was a mistake was Nicoletta.

Her eyes flicked around the hall. A girl with beautiful black hair and a sour expression was talking about photography. There's always one. No one seemed to be paying her any attention, perhaps they had been used to this and knew better than to indulge the girl, or perhaps she just wasn't as popular as she appeared to be. Her eyes continued to flit about, seeing boys and girls from all walks of life commune; but her ears were as good as dead. She wasn't about to eavesdrop on these people, that was surely no way to make an impression. Who would want to be friends with the girl that drops eaves on strangers?

No one. That's who.

So busy were her eyes that she didn't even notice at first that someone had sat next to her. So muted were her ears that she had to do a double take to comprehend that she was being spoken to. Her. The no body. The girl sitting by herself out of nervousness and passivity. "I, uh, heard about you little Cabin mishap and just wanted to say sorry and welcome you to Camp Liberty as well as the Green Team. Names Shawn, by the way. I'm one of your team mates."

Nicoletta looked towards him and offered as friendly a smile as she could force. She nailed it. Though her mind was now lost in a simple thought. Was that a known story? Was that how she would be known to people? As the girl that got lost on her way to Pink? No one knew her name yet she already had a reputation. How did that work?

"I didn't even know there were teams at all," Nicoletta uttered her first words to a fellow camper with a shrug of her shoulders; there was no reason she couldn't remain casual about the little mishap. "In case it wasn't obvious, I'm kinda new here. Nicoletta." She introduced herself while accepting the friendly handshake. "Nicoletta Soriano. Thanks for talking to me, Shawn, that was cool of you to do."

If everyone on Green Team was nice enough to make her feel welcome then perhaps going to the wrong cabin yesterday was actually a blessing in disguise.

'If I wasn’t me, I can be sure I'd wanna be
I’m pretty major and I’ll say it out loud
Living a, living a fantasy
Live in, I live in my vanity'

What a drab. Hana's eyes scouted the main hall for any sign of her pink posse, but her pet project was mysteriously absent, her sassy little sidekick probably wasn't here quite yet, and to make matters worse, it seemed as if that ghastly grey girl Ash was here again this year. Which was to say that the main hall was dead right now, and she would much prefer to roll deep with her core group rather than lame it out and force herself to interact with people that were in dire need of a consultation. A fashion consultation.

So after clicking her mouth and scoffing at the lack of attention, Hana Park turned on her heels and left the main hall in her dust. She proceeded back towards the path up to the cabins when her phone went off at last. It seemed that Nessa was around after all, though as Hana read the text she only found herself more puzzled than before. Who taught the girl how to text? Had she learnt nothing these past two summers?

Nessa was either asking Hana to eat some fish or get a tan or...

"Damn, girl, you can't wait can you?" Hana muttered as she worked her thumbs over the onscreen keyboard in a rapid text response.

TO: Nessie

'jeez u fiend, at least wait a few hours. i'll swing by in ten? cool? cool.'

'Vitamin D'. Hana was shocked that Nessa would be her first customer of the summer, but who was she to deny the people their 'medicine'. But she had left the majority of her stash back at the cabin and so with a cetain swiftness to her walk, Hana found herself returning to the pink cabin.

And then she promptly stopped dead in her tracks at the sight of a very unfamiliar person in a very...interesting position. Hana hadn't seen the girl before, so it stood to reason that she was a new addition to the pink roster this year. Hana didn't say a word to the girl, though she kept a close watch, silently judging her, wondering who would break the ice first.

"I wasn't aware they were shooting a Nicki Minaj video at camp this year." Hana would be the one to break the ice, though her tone wasn't judgmental but rather...jovial. First impressions and all.

Pippa Montgomery

Location;LA airport --> Pink Cabin
Interacting With;Herself. Running into Hana @Fabricant451 and Fiorella @Dirty Pretty Lies

38 days.

38 days clean and sober? Ha, hardly. That would be an impressive feat that would most likely cause a depression she had never witnessed before. But then wasn’t death supposed to cause depression? No no, grief; and that’s different. The tears and anger after a death are considered normal, while tears and anger during a ‘normal’ day are considered ‘abnormal.’ It was hard to keep track of which way was which even when it was as simple as left from right, night and day, good and bad. Oh no, no morals, they made things sticky. Keep with the basics, keep it simple. That’s what family and friends had told her during her haze of confusion. Too bad they had no goddamn clue what they were talking about.

Pippa tapped her fingers on the cool glass of the taxi aimlessly as she watched California open to her in greeting, her mind racing. The grey buildings and honking horns of LA had faded into the distance as they gained speed on a road headed to the middle of east Jesus nowhere. Arriving the day before she had spent a night at a lovely hotel, one she loathed leaving early that morning. She pulled her attention to the growing landscape with some difficulty, taking in the summer colors that started to pop up as they left the city. It was hot, but a different sort of hot than New York. Not humid but the temperatures threatening high numbers. It was summer but a different type of summer. Nothing looked the same here. But wasn’t that what she had wanted? What was far from her beautiful east coast? The west coast; see simple enough comparison. What was different than her oasis of isolation and peace in New York? A hot summer camp filled with other teens she barely knew.

She had needed change that much she had recognized while she sat in silence with her father at breakfast every morning, neither knowing what to say to the other. Pippa pretended not to notice his vacant eyes and shaking hands, he in return ignoring the flask of vodka and dwindling friend circle. When he had asked about the summer she had seen in his expression his mind had already been made up, much like the one previous. Only this time he had made the decision himself, rather than from her dear mother.

Summer Camp.

It was the go to for parents who preferred their children to be raised far away and out of their expensive liquor cabinets. Her mother had found the summer camp in California the summer between her junior and senior year of high school, determined to get Pippa out of the house to avoid another bender and embarrassing news article about their ‘free spirit’. She snorted at the memory, never before had she been called that, a wildly inaccurate describer of her personality. Regardless of the reasons, Pippa had been forced to the camp thousands of miles away from home with people she had never met before, hating the heat and general ascetics of the camp. She had managed to make a few friends, but they were not the reasons pulling her back now. This was a summer with high school in her review mirror and college on her horizon, if only she could get through it.

“Where you from miss?” The cabbie asked, pulling her back to the car filled with smell of cheap wintergreen and leather.

“New York. Upstate New York, near the capital region.”

“Oh! New York City!”

“What? No. I said upstate…and New York City isn’t the capital.”

“You sure, miss?”

Pippa felt her smile on her lips, her voice on autopilot as she handled this simple interaction that was causing her to swear in her mind. Leave me alone, good lord. She pulled on the ends of her hair and forced a harsh laugh, “Yes, I’m sure.” She spent the rest of the ride nodding and making noises of interest as the man talked, before long pulling up to the dirt roads and signs for Camp Liberty. She shifted in her seat, pulling her large suitcase and tote back towards her, enjoying the last few moments of AC and city smell before arriving.

She paid for the cab and tipped the man, making her way to her cabin. It hadn’t surprised her to hear she was on the pink team again, the same as last year. She had found it humorous, the group of people she was put with all gossip queens and high maintenance divas. Her people. It had made her grin, her lust to mess with people strong, and her ability being set free with her team members who also enjoyed the social games. She had found friendship, shallow for the most part, among them with a few gems of an actual connection. She watched with silent curiosity and deep seated unsettlement as fellow camp goers moved around her, many laughing and connecting with old friends, making her feel like a ghost.

A ghost she was, of her former self. She threw her belongings on the bottom of a bunk bed and sat down next to them; admiring her fine heels she had worn for the plan ride and last effort to spend quality time with her darlings. She slipped them off and pulled out a pair of fashionable sandals that matched her sundress, a lovely thing she had found at a boutique opening for the summer race track. Her eyes darted around the pink team cabin as she forced her sunglasses up into her hair, displaying the natural wave and giving her a friendly appearance.

It doesn’t matter how you feel on the inside. Smile and play nice with others Pippa. They don’t know…they won’t know anything. You have time away from the looks of pity, acting like your broken. Embrace it and be the bitch your mother created. The cabin and outdoors were active, most of her team members preparing to go to the main hall or media room to prepare for introductions. She couldn’t do it; not yet. She needed a moment of peace.

Peace she did not get, as a Latina goddess she hadn’t met before began dancing to loud music, a sight she found humorous despite herself. Desperate to escape before being seen she moved towards the door, only to see a familiar figure walking towards the cabin door. She bit her lower lip until it hurt, pulling herself to the present and out of her mood from the days of travel alone in her thoughts, watching the two meet and grinning with a devilish flash of white teeth. “Hana!” she greeted the young woman with her charming singsong voice, “I was just wondering when I would be seeing you! Our lovely new team member distracted me! Isn’t she…adorable?”

Pippa looked back at the Latina, “You look like you’ll fit in perfectly here. My name is Pippa.”

Audrey settled in her seat, watching as the males basically sucked at playing video games. It was like they never ever played a game before in their entire lives. When her phone chimed again, she actually hoped it was Mathias but instead, it was Sierra. She read her message then started typing a reply back but her phone chimed again in her hand and it was Mathias. She immediately stopped typing her message to Sierra and went to replying to Mathias' message instead.

To: ♥Mathias♥
Yes. I am in the media room if you want to see me. ;3 Why were you in a hotel though? :/

She sent the curious message towards him as she was fixing to finish her message for Sierra, next thing she knew, Sierra was walking through the door and shrieking her name and tackling her onto the couch she was sitting on. As they tangled their limbs and she stood up, Audrey was next to stand upright and received the tight hug and gave her one back. "Yeah, I cannot believe it, as well." She responded and looked at Sierra, blushing a little whenever she called her pretty.

"Oh, thanks. Girl, so are you." Audrey while waving her hand over towards her, checking her out a little bit. Audrey smiled and walked over to the couch where she hid the wireless controllers, handing her one while muttering softly. "Thank god you showed up whenever you did. These guys were boring my eyes out." Audrey even added a little chuckle at the end of her words then walked over towards the X-Box 360, powering it on and walking back over to sit on the couch nearby. She patted the spot next to her and waited before Sierra sat down to speak. "So, you're going to beat my ass, you say?" She hit the start button on her controller and skipped through the all of the ads as the game was finally starting.

"Let's see about about that." Audrey said while starting the game and not even giving Sierra a moment to notice. It was nice to finally meet this girl she had been thinking about since they had became gamer friends online, multiple social media sites and then when Sierra said that she was coming to Camp Liberty - Audrey had to make sure she was there. And now, after being online friends for so long, here they were, doing what they do best - Gaming.

OLIVER CASH

Location; main hall
Interacting With; @lovely complex ash @HaleyTheRandom ariel @Altered Tundra elijah
CURRENTLY WEARING

oli was somewhat unnerved by the eyes on him - not only aisling's, but the rest of his new team (or "family," as they put it so eloquently). even so, the worst of them was ash. her gaze was dark and unwavering, and the sensation of being listened to was rather unfamiliar, eerily so. his own bright blue eyes flicked from her chestnut optics and back, unsure how to maintain eye contact or if she even intended for him to be keeping it so. it seemed like this young woman had much more life trapped within her than she was letting on; like she was withholding some aspect of personality that glowed from behind her eyes and wanted badly to be released. but oliver did have a bad habit of overanalyzing people and making them seem more pretentious - for lack of a better word - than they actually were. it was simply that she had a calm way of interacting, like someone with more life experience than their years on earth warranted. it was enchanting, to say the least, but he reminded himself not to romanticize ash too much. hell, she could just be another hellraiser.

he planned on standing, but as he watched ash take her spot on a close bench, he realised she was leaving a nearby spot vacant for him. moving over reluctantly, oliver noticed out of the corner of his eye that aisling was observing the other greys, looking over them as if to gauge something about them. he assumed she was just like a mother in that way, checking on their mental states without asking directly and possibly intruding. oli didn't sit coolly in the way that his new friend did; in fact, he simply dropped down into place a foot away from her, clutching his knees as close to him as possible. these two have been here for two years. good lord. oli's gaze followed hers to the other two nearby, who ash then named eli and ariel. 'aren't too terrible,' he pondered over, unsure whether to trust it. they were awfully quiet - both of them, in fact. suppose he shouldn't judge, considering he was a rather softspoken individual himself. oliver dismissed his criticism just as quickly as it had come.

all the same, his scrutinizing gaze landed on elijah, and he studied the boy for a long moment. he appeared to be slightly older than oliver, but still was relatively short for a biological male - oli estimated about five foot eight, as for the boy's weight... he wasn't sure. he just knew this kid was pretty damn fit for a supposed 'outcast,' which he usually deemed the nerds and geeks type group. his eyes were even more vibrant than oliver's and, embarrassingly, the newcomer couldn't tear his attention from them. one could argue that the redness that surrounded them were what made them so eye-catching (no pun intended), but even without that irritated affectation, they'd have been a translucent sapphire colour. oliver found himself noting even more similarities between himself and elijah as his observations drew on, such as the blonde hair that hung slightly over both of their faces. self-consciously, his own hand came to adjust the mop off of his forehead, shifting the sweep more to the side. this was his chance to pretend he hadn't been looking all along and, instead, flicked his head towards ariel in as friendly a manner as he could manage.

she was still glued to the device in her hands, but that didn't make it difficult to look at her. ariel seemed slightly less solemn than how he read elijah and aisling, but something told him it was, at least in part, artificial - again, that could have been his heavyhanded intuition. her features were noticeably refined, what with her naturally arching eyebrows and catlike eye shape, and her hair was swept to the side, but not in the same way that his own hair and elijah's was. in fact, her sleek, dark hair was much longer and seemed to be slightly asymmetrical, splayed out on her shoulders quite like - hey, what a coincidence, a mermaid. ariel's aesthetic read to him as somewhat grungey, contradictory to her innocuous namesake. it felt unfair to immediately stick her in the category of some underwater disney princess, though. oliver was 99.9% certain that she got that kind of thing her entire life, and could almost relate, but oliver and company wasn't quite as popular as the little mermaid. he realised his rambling thoughts were rolling all while staring still at ariel and, anxiously, he turned back to ash just as she continued speaking.

nerves strung still, oliver was quite surprised by the sweet sentiments their half-leader was showing him. her advice was taken very seriously, and he gazed on with wide, attentive eyes, trusting her words this time. of course, oli had no clue who exactly 'ghost' (or 'alex') was, but the meaning was still obvious. ignoring the flinch that ran through him once ash uttered a dreaded swear-word, he heard a separate but similarly gentle voice sound. his attention went to ariel, who he could only assume was talking to him. "love"! that's a first. his lips curled up slightly at the nickname and he raised his eyebrows at her, pleased. 'dad' was equally surprising - maybe that was the ever-popular 'ghost' in question. he leaned in with interest while ash went on with a very cleverly timed welcome. we're the in-betweens. the ones that others hesitate to approach because they don't understand what they see. a mystery. oliver leaned back slightly again, quirking one side of his mouth up as ash's eyes went rolling. so this was how the grey team was seen. he wasn't exactly sure of the different archetypes of teams around here, but as he looked around, he saw very distinct personalities and assumed they must be grouped according to people like the silken-haired girl who made her grand entrance, or that looming figure in the cushioned chair across the room, or that kid that rode around the room at a terrifying speed on his skateboard.

ash addressed just that kid next, and oliver's head ducked again like she was telling him some great secret. his pupils dilated just a tad at the mention of his attitude, and he realised this kid could actually injure him. so he was true to his appearance. oli wasn't entirely certain he wanted to hear the story involving eli she looked to be keen on telling, but it didn't matter - her train of thought seemed to jerk onto a completely separate rail in one instant. his eyes returned to their only slightly nervous state as she pulled out a notebook and he realised within a few numbers written that this would be her phone number. good god, should he mention that he had a pager now or let them find out later? no matter, there were ways to call people everywhere these days; if he had an emergency there was likely to be a payphone somewhere. he smiled at the paper as she handed it over, a soft exhale leaving his nostrils as most of his anxiety left him. so this was what it was like, making a friend without absolutely forcing it. ...or if you're uncomfortable. this was incredibly sweet. oliver was quite thankful he didn't carry a cell phone, then, or else he'd be calling up ash every time he stepped in some gum.

unexpectedly, eli was the next to speak, and his voice was far more gentle than oliver had imagined it to be. surprise rising to his features, he turned his attention to the other boy, lowering the paper and his dandelion into his lap. why don't you tell us - your team - about yourself? only then, when eli uttered the words 'your team,' did it sink in that he was being accepted. oliver breathed out a soft little laugh, straightening up at the realisation and looking quite pleased with his teammate. "i hate to disappoint, really... but i'm not actually - all that interesting," he admitted honestly, or at least it seemed like the most honest thing to say then. at least in comparison to those immediately around him, he wasn't quite that interesting. what could he say? yeah, i'm obsessive and compulsive — i'm a total double threat. that wouldn't be the greatest impression to make. he looked down at the dandelion in his hand, remembering the sweet girl who'd given it to him and wondering what she might suggest he say. "i - i don't know, i'm... he paused again. an avid reader. that would be far too geeky. oli smiled faintly at his next statement: "i'm a terrible athlete. i'm not sure i'll be the greatest addition to grey." self-deprecation seemed to be his only good humour. oliver's voice was riddled with a light chuckle, playing it off as a jest.

oliver's shoulders jerked up in an instant, however, when he heard a loud shout from the aforementioned skateboarder. he didn't do very well with audio in such volume, obviously. oli's breath caught in his throat and he looked at the ground, avoiding watching as the boy trailed around the room, evidently looking for his 'peeps.' and then came the call of ash's name. his head turned just slightly as he looked at aisling expectantly, wondering if she was actually friends with this little rugrat, and out of his periphery saw jackson suddenly fall flat on his face before her. oliver scooted back just a bit, ensuring his own safety and following the direction ash had given him earlier to stay away from this daredevil. he didn't bother verbally addressing the red team intruder and, instead, turned his gaze to the floor again, twirling his dandelion by the stem anxiously. ariel didn't seem too upset by his invasive entrance, and, in fact, sounded playful in her half-hearted scolding, so he assumed jackson couldn't be all that bad. or maybe ariel just had a high tolerance for jerks.

Erik and Finn burst through the front door of the main hall at the same time. Sprinting as hard as they could, they collapsed on the ground, chests heaving hard. Glaring at each other they started smacking each other. Before the air had even gotten back in their lungs they were arguing. Finn was the first to gasp out his words. "Don't look at me like that I totally beat you!"

"Fat chance! I was miles ahead of you."

"Miles!? You couldn't even run one mile!"

"Oh yeah? You wanna bet on it?"

"Skarsgård trials? Oh you are so on!"

"But we have to find someone to judge for us, otherwise we'll never agree." Both of the twins glanced around from their spot on the floor. It wasn't long before they saw someone sitting alone in the blue section. Perfect, they only needed one judge. To be honest, she wasn't too bad looking either. Staring at her for a second, the twins nodded. Another competition had started. It was impossible for either twin to get into a relationship. They always got in each other's way, and put each other down while trying to impress the girl. If they did somehow manage to get into a relationship, the other one always pranked them by pretending to be them. That being said, they never gave up in trying and the competition always drove them to try harder. Each of the twins spat in their hands and held it out. Shaking to seal the deal, they helped each other out before approaching the girl.

"Raven right? You're in team blue? I'm Finn."

"No you're not, you idiot. I'm Finn, you're Erik!"

"Oh, you're right. Hi. I'm Erik."

"And I, am Finn."

"You just introduced yourself."

"Shutup." The twins smiled the entire time they were arguing so they wouldn't scare Raven off. Taking a seat on either side of her they continued to talk, getting ready for their proposition. "Anyway, how good are you at seeing?"

"At seeing? Really Erik? What my brother is trying to say is that we want you to judge something for us."

"Yes, exactly! Well put Finn. So... will you judge for us? The stakes are very high, and intense. Life or death status." Both of the twins stared at Raven waiting for an answer.

Tis must have passed out because when she opened her eyes she was flat on her back. Her arm was draped over her surfboard like it was a teddy bear. Shaking her head sleepily she sat up. Judging by the new bags in the cabin it was clear that some of the green member had showed up. Rubbing her eyes, Tis stood up and stretched. It was well passed time to say hi to everyone for the first time in a year. Whipping off her shirt so that she was just standing in her shorts and bikini top, Tis put on some sandals and headed out the door.

A few minutes later she opened the door to the main hall. Her eyes drifted around everyone as she walked through the crowds of kids. Occasionally seeing someone she remembered she stopped and said hi, but really she was looking for her green team members. Spotting someone she hadn't seen before in the corner she headed over to talk to them. "Shawn? Duuude, what's up! That brainerd shirts totally choka bro." She patted him right on the surprisingly firm chest. Smiling kindly, Tis noticed Shawn wasn't alone.

Turning to see who it was, she asked, "Who's the gidget chick?" The black haired girl look somehow familiar. Studied her for a moment it suddenly clicked, "Nicoletta!" Tis had been sent a letter as Team Leader of all the new people arriving into the green team. Nicoletta had been in that group. Cocking her head to the side, Tis began to think up of nicknames for her new teammate. "Nicole. Niki. Nico. Neko? Neko's a rockn' nick. Welcome to the most balltastic team in CL. My nick's Tis and I am your captain." Winking at the girl to let her know it was all fun she held out her hand to shake with Nicole.

A simple morning at camp it seemed, where Grey stuck together at first and then branched off as the day went on. An obvious gang of kids that held tight to their 'family' bonds. Camp Liberty shaped a mindset for young adolescents, where kids strongly depended on people the administrators deemed as "like-minded". The dark beauty understood that life required one to work with others, for better or for worst. At the same time, the idea of classifying kids in categories, causing their developing minds to believe that this construed notion was absolute, seemed rather counter productive. This could be the camp's way of fixing the social stigma by making the labels and stereotypes clear as day, but like a double edged sword, the concept could and would cut those involved. It didn't help that Grey did have a tendency to wear dark colors prior to coming here and carried their eccentric nature like a badge. Those personality surveys were doing something right if the majority of the Team had their 'color' written all over their face and attitude.

When Ariel pulled out of the world of her cellular device, finally, she brought her attention to the new addition of their 'little family' and referred to Ash as mom. Her smile blaring bright, hoping to be infectious and bring up the energy. This made the 'mother' of the group think about exuberant Tate and feisty Luisa. Those two loved to be fashionably late, especially on introduction day. Their patience to sit around and listen to someone talk for an extensive amount of time killed them on the inside. Those two hated boredom and sitting indoors doing absolutely nothing worthwhile irritated the shit out of them, since they believed they had better things to do elsewhere.

With time and training, Ash took pride at noticing the little things that her teammates did, like Eli's intrigue glance while she talked. Not one to dig into other people's businesses, she kept that knowledge to herself and didn't turn to see the culprit. He was a teenager boy, after all, who had his own needs and wants. She would assume there was new eye candy for him to crave. When her words came to a close, her eyebrow perked up when Eli asked the newcomer a simple question, with a sweet and poetic voice as he slipped in his nickname for her: Our great leader. Something so subtle yet only he would say. For those who knew more behind the title and the context, would be given a glimpse into his feelings toward her, and indirectly Ghost.

Carefully listening to Oliver as he sincerely answered Eli, revealing to the older woman a veiled layer of who he was, simply by how he replied and how he looked down at the dandelion, like it was his safety blanket, Aisling changed her body's position. Rather than straddling the bench, she now sat beside Oli with her legs crossed. Before she could say any words of reassurance though, a lovely guest yelled her name, "AAAAASSSSHHHHH!!!!!!" And appeared before her, face flat on the ground, and inches away from her boots.

"Child! What the hell are you doing?!" It was nice to see Ariel enjoying herself, the brunette knew a little more about the girl than either of them would admit. Life was an odd thing, don't you think? Oliver searched in Ash's gaze for answers, having been told not too long ago that he should be careful around this raging bull. Ah, answers would come soon enough.

Like an eager dog, Jackson Drake played it off cool, immediately hoisting himself up.

What was her relationship with this fairly attractive kid? A boy who was so simple minded that 'big words' made him get into anger fits. His emotions were written all over his face, never holding back, as he went in full force, all or nothing. A boy that let his emotions get the best of him all the time, making people either hate him or love him, but mostly hate him. A boy who has his whole life ahead of him to figure out what it meant to be a man, but hung it by a thread and all someone needed to do was cut it and he'd fall. Although he was still a force to be reckoned with, he was simply a boy.

"Good morning, sunshine. I'm glad to see you're still alive." Her chocolate orbs explored his face and ended on that cheesy ass grin. She would be lying if she said she didn't like his uncomplicated nature. Leaning her body back to give him a better look of her, while tilting her head, Ash lightly smirked, "Just talking to the new kid." Bringing her glance to Oliver, she continued, "Trying to assure Oliver that camp will be fun." She paused and let that statement linger before asking the hothead a couple of questions, "What do you like about camp, Jackson? Oh, and before I forget, tomorrow morning you up for a jog?" Jackson was the one person Aisling felt like she didn't have to look too deep into, he was what he was and there was no changing that. She also wasn't the type to sneak behind her teams back with friendships. Sure, Eli and Jackson had their differences but if she kept Jackson occupied, he wouldn't focus too much on starting a war with her team. He was her friend and even friends needed to have sense knocked into them from time to time.

Interacting With Ariel @HaleyTheRandom, Ash @lovely complex, Oliver @foxygen,

Eli, with those deep, thoughtful, sapphire eyes of his, was looking at the bashful, reserved Oliver, gauging his facial expressions to see what was behind that introverted mask of child-like innocence. As he spoke, a certain, doubtful insecurity in what he had to offer, Eli kept those eyes locked on him. He couldn't decide whether this kid was worth the extra effort to dig deeper, to find something that may just make Eli take an extended interest in him past the general inquiries that he already made. He couldn't determine if Oliver here was someone that had just laid all of his cards right there on the table, or if he simply was being modest.

Shifting in his seat somewhat, Eli's left leg crossed over his right one as to give the appearance of a provoking, thoughtful posture. He listened to the words of shy Oliver carefully, wanting to choose how he responded carefully. Those last few words that he spoke had decided it for Eli. It had made him internally make the decision that Oliver was someone who was hiding someone. It was just enough for him to become intrigued in this quiet, silent-type; and when Elijah Damian Nelson became intrigued, nothing would stop him from getting al of the secrets from that person.

"Is anyone really, though?" Eli offered up a rhetorical question in response to Oliver's comment about not really being athletic. "Not a lot of us are really athletic - well, aside from Ash." Eli lightly chuckled, giving Ash a small smirk. "So, obviously since you aren't the only one, anything el--"

And of course, like it is always with the guy, enter Jackson Drake stage face-first-on-the-floor.

Eli might not mind Jackson, he could only take so much of the guy in the same hour. First it was him shouting out the pride of Team Red while almost crashing into Adielle, now it was his obnoxious, not-so-soild landing as he attempted some kind of hopping over the table in front of the benches that Team Grey was sitting on. When he was still face-first, Eli subtlely laughed. He covered his mouth with his hand slightly so that it was muffled. Apparently he couldn't contain his amusement of how much of an idiot Jackson Torvald Drake was.

Location: Main Hall
Interacting With Ariel @HaleyTheRandom, Ash @lovely complex, Oliver @foxygen,

Yeah, he totally nailed it - well, after his face became really acquainted with not only how cold the wooden floors was, but how interwoven Ash's boots were with the lace and leather. And they were more grey than they were black. One never could really tell from a far away distance, but Jackson got a good look at them when his face nearly hit them. But hey! He didn't and that's what counted at the end of the day.

Standing on his two feet, feeling his legs having a slight sore feeling from his fall, Jackson Drake overheard two things. First, the sound of a muffled laugh. Don't think that I didn't hear that, Eli Nelson; and second, the mocking - but entirely harmless - words of Ariel Gray. He ignored the first because, despite the temptation of wanting to knock out Eli's smug expression with a right hook and maybe a left straight, he found that addressing Ariel was more beneficial to his serenity.

"Oh you know, I just thought it would be a good idea to find out how cold the wooden floors are." Jackson said, passing off his obvious bail for wanting to find exactly how cold the floor were. "Here's a public service announcement: don't lay on them if you're naked. Trust me, I did that last year and, well, let's just say that was one cold-ass night." Just thinking about it gave the poor guy the shivers. "ANNYWAYS!" Jackson shook his head, eyes falling on some oddball of a guy looking at the floor, twirling a dandelion in his hand. "Oh, I see you've met Nessa, huh?" That much was obvious based on the kind of dandelion that was in that guy's hand. "She's a bit of an oddball, that one, but I have to admit, she's really hot. Maybe I should--"

And Jackson was cutoff by the welcome sound of Ash's voice.

"I think you meant barely alive. Despite my luck, I almost bit the dust a few weeks ago. Took a nasty bail on a rail. I tell ya, Seattle's fucking great, but a potential life-ender, she is." Jackson said, the fear of God in his eyes, or at least, the fear of almost dying. He could remember it like it was yesterday -well, two weeks ago, but who needs to sweat the details?

There he was, skating in the streets of Seattle, which, surprisingly, it wasn't raining. He was skating, and came to a flight of stairs. He was feeling adventurous, so he took it upon himself to climb the height of the stairs, each foot bringing him closer to the top. He still could remember the way the stone steps felt on the soles of his shoes. It was a good thing he had a nice pair of Vans, or he might have been suffering from an aching foot added to the scraps and bruises he got from that day.

When he reached the top, he backed about three yards away. He needed to make sure that he had enough distance between him and the straight rail so that he could project enough speed to get a good jump, plus a good grind.

And thus began the journey.

He remembered how fast he was going, and he remembered the air he got. In the first try, he didn't like the positon, so he gripped the wall he was closest to, and went to try again. The second time, he wasn't going fast enough, so stopped a foot before he took that jump. The third time, he had the right position. It was perfectly aligned with the rail, and he made contact. He rode it for about ten seconds, each second after the initial first one giving him a rush of speed each time. By the fifth one, Jackson's hair was flying behind him, and the whistle of the wind in his ears.

He was going fast. Too fast. With this speed, his balance became the wildcard. He had the speed, a pitch-perfect nosegrind, and everything seemed perfect, right? Well, almost perfectly, anyways.

About halfway down the rail, his balance, which had been exactly where it needed to be, was starting to waver. He felt his body going side-to-side as the seventh second came around. It wasn't good, that's for sure. He did his best to regain his balance without forsaking the grind. By the middle point of the ninth and tenth second came around, Jackson's body was leaning too far to the right, and...
CRASH!

Fell he did and fell hard he did.

He was still seven or eight stairs up from the ground, and he went tumbling. First, his head hit the stone. Not exactly hard, but it wasn't soft either. From there, his body kept on rolling like a log, bouncing occasionally until he fell face-first on the concrete down.

"So, long story short? I am barely alive, and I was bed-ridden for a full week. I almost didn't pass my final exams..." Jackson said, fully explaining exactly what happened to him a few weeks ago.

And now resume the continuation of what Ash was saying.

"Oh I see, so this silent one is a new Grey, huh?" Jackson went back to dandelion boy, his eyes trying to see what was up with him. "Why so quiet?" Jackson arched an eyebrow. It was odd that someone was so quiet, especially after hearing an exciting tale of someone bailing hard. "Come on dude, you must have a reaction to that story I told you all, right?" Jackson, as he always was, got close to Oliver. His eyes nearly against the face of Oliver, but he then caught the sound of Ash continuing speaking. He backed off. "The chicks. Definitely the chicks. Oh and I guess the cabins. They're lit as fuck." Jackson smiled like a goof. "And you bet I am! Same stiputation? I win, you give me a date. You win, and I sit out the first REd vs Grey match." Jackson had the fire of the Devils of Camp Liberty in his eyes. ]"And by date, I don't mean no half-assed walk back to the cabins. I mean an ACTUAL date where we dine and all that shit. I'm gonna romance the fuck out of you, Ash." Jackson sternly said, his expression going from goofy grin to solemn stare in two seconds flat.

Ghost had gotten to camp early, as always, and he’d also lost track of when he’d actually arrived, as always. Running a hand through his hair, he finally stopped staring at that goddamn beautiful waterfall that always greeted him, ever since he’d first arrived those three years ago - this being his fourth year - and made his way to the Grey Cabin, more prominently known as home. Well, at least to him. A smile lit up on his face as he walked in, closing his eyes and feeling the warmth - he was back once again. After a couple of minutes, his eyes finally opened once again, and - after taking note of the fact that one of the bottom bunks was already claimed by some luggage - he leaped over to the nearest bunk bed, claiming the top bunk as his own by plonking his luggage down on it, before pulling out the same piece of paper he’d so cheekily used on his first day. He ran a finger over the Sharpie scribble that read, in small capital letters: ‘ᴄʟᴀɪᴍᴇᴅ ʙʏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴀʟᴍɪɢʜᴛʏ ᴀʟᴇx’, letting out a small chuckle. He was surprised they hadn’t just nailed a plaque in the wall, though it wouldn’t be surprising if Ash convinced him to do that.

Speaking of Ash, he grinned at the thought of spending another summer with his utmost best friend. Oh, and maybe there’d be some more new people this year! He always enjoyed new additions to the family, as the Grey Team had come to call each other. He still couldn’t believe that he came off as a dad to some people, was he really that uncool? With a laugh, he pulled out his MP3 player from his pocket, putting the earbuds in his ears and nodding his head to the beat as he walked out of the cabin. As he took his walk around the camp grounds, his gaze would often fall upon members of the camp, be it a cheeky wink to those he found tolerable, a sharp glare to those he never got along with, or a mysterious aura of both to the newcomers that weren’t on Grey, keeping up with his allure of being the “lone wolf”. This year that would change, though - he was determined to pull his finger out and bag a win for the Greys, and finally defeat those “Royal Blue” bastards. Ugh, they made his blood boil. Just the thought of them would’ve been enough to put him off camp forever, if it weren’t for him having become such good friends with Ash, and the rest of the regulars, and even sometimes semi-regulars, besides Eli. Now there was another guy he didn’t like, and the problem is he was on Alex’s team. And even worse? He couldn’t even boot him off! At least he hadn’t been that much of a major asshole yet.

With nothing much to do until everyone else arrived, and all the “negative thoughts” beginning to bubble up inside him, including the fact that this was his last summer at camp, Ghost decided it would be better to head back to the cabin to get some shuteye. He quickly set an alarm on his phone, turning off his MP3 and plopping it back in his pocket, before arriving at the cabin. He folded up the piece of paper, tucking it in his pocket along with the MP3, and grabbing his luggage, pulling his pillows out, setting them on the bed before zipping everything up, shoving it underneath the bottom bunk. Then, phone in hand, he climbed up onto the top bunk, plonking his head on the pillow and closing his eyes.

♪bzzt, bzzt! bzzt, bzzt!♪

Alex’s eyes snapped open as his phone vibrated in his hand. Crap! He must’ve left his phone on silent mode. He guessed that was the problem with coming to camp on the bus, and not being one for disturbing people. With a sigh, he rubbed his eyes with his spare hand, using the other to switch on the phone and read his two received messages.

From: Kitty Cat
Guess whose at camp, loves! Get your asses to the main hall PRONTO.

From: Asher
I’ll be there soon. Start thinking of shit to do now. Especially you Ghost.

Ghost, in turn, chuckled as he sat up, before realising the time, and letting out another mental ‘Crap!’ moment. His eyes widened and he jumped off the bed, straightening his shirt and turning off his phone at the same time, jamming it in his empty pocket. He almost lost footing as he ran out of the cabin, sprinting to the main hall as the few people left outside watched in bewilderment. His legs moved almost like machines, covering ground in leaps and bounds and speeding him to the hall doors, which he burst through, barely giving himself time to see the Grey Team. Alex leaped over to them, before feeling his foot catch on something and-- ”Aaaaagh!” He let out a cry as he landed on his belly, both sliding towards his teammates and spinning around like a turtle at the same time, until he stopped at some unfamiliar feet, looking up to see what could only be a new kid. ”Hi fam…” He croaked, getting up and taking a good look at the new addition to the team. The poor guy looked terrified, with big, bright eyes, and shaking hands clutching onto a dandelion. Alex’d make a Grey outta him. ”So… this the new kid, huh?” After glaring at him for a few seconds, he burst into a smile, ruffling the hair of the as-of-yet-unnamed member of the Grey family. ”Nice to meet ya. Bet everyone’s been moaning about me not arriving yet. I’m Alexander Wilson Bryant, also known as Alex, Ghost, and Dad.” Then, he looked to the rest of the team, spreading his arms out wide. ”Daddy’s home!” He paused, before adding, ”That also sounded much better in his head!”

Alessandro Curzi

Location; The Lake
Outfit; Alesandro Curzi.
Interacting With; Nicholas Beauchamp. @HushedWhispers | Emilie Parker via Text. @Lockerz

Alessandro scanned the lake as he listened to Nicholas. The lake was so beautiful. The water while calm had so many differant hues of blue, reflecting the bright blue sky. No sound rang out from the shimmering emptiness of space around it. It was lined with pine trees and the whiff of mint wafted up to him. The only sounds was the faded chatter from the campers and Nicholas talking beside him. "Yeah, I'm doing okay." Alek said responding to Nicholas as he removed his coin from his front pocket of his trousers. He began to roll the coin along his knuckles, it was something that he almost always found himself doing. His grandfather gave him that coin when he was a boy and ever since he seemed to feel a sense of good luck that followed him. It meant a lot to him and reminded himself of Italy. As Nicholas began to ask about how it felt being back at camp his phone vibrated in his back pocket. "Mi dispiace, It's Em." Alek said, looking down at the name on his phone screen, quickly responding.

To: Emmy <3
I'm at the lake with Nick, get your ass down here and come say hey x

Alek was excited to see Emilie, he felt like he hadn't seen her in forever and she was one of the people that Alek could have the most fun with. They both just bounced off each other and could create some of the best memories. Her being back at camp with him was one of the things that Alek was the most excited about. There were so many new things that they could get up to, annoying people, pulling pranks and just mainly pissing about. Emilio pushed his phone back into his pocket and looked up at Nicholas with an apologetic look, "Camp yeah, I'm so excited for this Summer. I want to make it one of the best. E tu?" Alek liked Nicholas, he thought he was cute and the more time he spent with him he just wanted to get to know him more. There was just something about him.

FAUNA FONTAINE

Location; green cabin > main hall
Interacting With; @HaleyTheRandom shawn, @Fabricant451 nicoletta, @Wintergrey atlantis (mention of adielle, nathan, caleb, erik & finn, tate & luisa)
CURRENTLY WEARING

the question was, who the hell did this to the green cabin? it was relatively obvious - tis did this every year without fail, after all, and her whole team knew it. fauna just wasn't sure why. it was probably for the best that tis was the one to decorate, though, considering fauna personally would have gothed it up upon arrival (had her arrival been just a bit earlier). as she passed through the doorway, her fingers glided over the rolled up rug, wishing it was still on the ground rather than that nasty tropical towel. she moved to the side of the room that wasn't crowded by a massive sun umbrella and brushed aside the hanging shells that acted as a semi-doorway for the bottom bunk. jesus! it even smelled like the ocean in here; fauna scrunched up her nose and searched for the source of the smell, only to find that tis's clothes were scattered all around the cabin. if she weren't so annoyed by that fact, fauna would have smiled because of the predictability of it. where was atlantis, anyway? after some further inspection of the room, it appeared that she'd already had a little rest in one of the beds. typical again.

someone's things looked far too high-class to fit in with the green team. fauna took it upon herself to pick through the individual's things, evidently a female, and of a very specific social status. well! a newcomer, she assumed, and tossed everything back where she found it. she other bottom bunk available was already taken, and - having familiarized herself with her team after a long three years - fauna was able to pinpoint the things as being adielle's. unlike her impulsiveness with the newcomer's belongings, she swayed the temptation to look through adi's things. instead, she took over the last available bottom bunk, tearing down the shells and sand dollars and stomping on them scornfully. that'd show 'em. she hastily tore out her clothes and folded them into a chest at the foot of the bed, then stacked personal belongings over them - makeup and other hygiene supplies, classic literature lest she inevitably get bored, her medication... it's not like fauna was the type to register her meds at check-in. they'd just take it away and stick her on the intake routine with other sick kids. boring.

she plucked up a brush from the top of her gathered pile and moved to the bathroom, examining herself with some distaste. her face looked fine enough - she had yet to put on any actual beauty products, so there was fortunately none of that foundation shine or glaze of long-worn eyeliner - but her hair looked ratty as all hell. fauna swiped the brush through it, forcing the overgrown locks into a more uniform assembly, then tossed it back into the chest. that's about all her energy could take for now. fauna moved from the cabin and, with an eagle eye, looked over to the next one over; that was where she assumed the boys of green were taking refuge. may as well have a sneak peek. she trudged over and invaded the space, finding no one but their luggage present. how rude, not even staying to say hello to everyone's favourite epileptic. fauna flicked through the bags left on beds curiously, peered into the bathroom intrusively, and then decided nothing here interested her. nathan, shawn, caleb, and the twins were evidently not going to leave easter eggs for her to find this year.

then, she assumed, everyone must be in the main hall. ignoring the groups that trampled through the grounds and the individuals who stalked by their lonesome to find their cabins, she moved towards the famed main hall, eyes on the prize. her entrance wasn't nearly as grand as some others, but still she wafted her hands through the air as if she was of utmost importance (although it was simply habitual at this point). fauna passed the grey team before she reached the one in mind, and her eyes briefly gazed over their heads, searching for one particular individual she'd welcomed to the camp two years earlier... nothing. she ignored the twinge of disappointment that arose then, however. it's not like she'd ever had a very up-close-and-personal conversation with tate yet, anyway, because of his demon-from-hell sister luisa. all right - admittedly, luisa wasn't too bad, and in fact fauna admired her hair and composure more than anything else, but still. the female counterpart of their duo was what scared her from actually speaking to the brother. in any case, she pretended that the lingering look she gave to the grey group was simply a nonverbal greeting and nodded at them absently.

the first person her eyes landed on was... er. one of the beauchamps, at least. honestly, at this point, she wasn't entirely certain if it was nathan like the roster would tell her or if nicholas liked to pretend to be the green teamer out of the two of them. nathan appeared to be glued to his phone, and fauna almost felt like she should turn around and whip out her phone as if it was routine, but more likely than not he was just texting that blue teamer. fauna didn't keep up to date on very much, but more than anything she somewhat stalked the rest of her team, figuring out who they were close to and who they detested. it's the most one could do when you're not naturally intuitive like the rest of your oh-so-cunning teammates. in any case, she didn't call out to nathan like she would with a closer friend, both not wishing to bother him and not willing to embarrass herself at such a distance. even still, fauna approached with a hesitant, flitting step, eyeing the rest of those gathered.

while this individual wasn't exactly in the right place right beside nathan, fauna was smart enough to match her clothing to the things in her bag. the new green teamer! she didn't appear to be very enthusiastic about the new camp she was stuck in, but that was nothing surprising. fauna could remember her first day here - a little twelve year old, perched in the corner of the main hall on the softest chair she could find, who had a seizure once someone started playing their loud-ass hip hop. that wasn't exactly the most fun in the world, and it was what pushed people away from bringing their boomboxes, as far as she knew. back to reality, the new girl didn't seem to fit in very well with the green stereotype. she looked like she was envying the other campers who did match their groups from afar, and really, like she'd rather be anywhere else than here; fauna couldn't shake the spark of sympathy that arose, strangely enough. it was rare that she felt anything akin to generosity, but the new kid just looked so helpless...

shawn to the rescue, apparently. fauna could just barely hear him introducing himself and simulaneously welcoming her, and thanked the gods that he'd gotten there first - personally, she would've mucked up first impressions like history had never seen before. this was pretty typical of shawn, though. he was a good guy usually, doing what he could to keep others feeling swell (and to keep them on their toes, she thought), but he was just a little bit of a devil. unpredictable, even, so fauna found herself gravitating away from shawn rather than trying to get to know him better - for someone who wasn't very easily triggered, fauna did her best to avoid anyone that could act as one. in any case, the new kid seemed to be responding well to his friendliness, and now that fauna was closer she caught ear of a name: nicoletta. very italian, she thought, and then this nicoletta was thanking shawny boy. how nice that she should make a friend on her first day... it was inspiring enough to send fauna waltzing on over, a skip in her step and light suddenly shining from her eyes.

before she could, however, atlantis was there and showing off that sunny disposition. she was dressed the same way she decorated the cabin - with a very beachy bikini top and shorts to keep her cold. close enough to hear everything in great detail, fauna rolled her eyes at the myriad of nicknames tis came up with on the spot, a smile quirking her lips just slightly. "you're so californian, tisdale," she whispered once she was close enough, though her eyes were stuck on nicoletta as she spoke. it was truly difficult to understand the green leader whenever she went off with that goofy slang, but fauna had no intent to make fun of it - to lessen any possible blow from her teasing, she squeezed atlantis's shoulder before plopping down beside nicoletta. possibly too close, at that: as per usual for fauna, she was in near enough quarters to touch knees with the newcomer, her elbow resting on her own thigh so that her fist could balance her chin. she was gazing at nicoletta with a sort of holly golightly-esque curiosity, one thick eyebrow raised like they were in an interrogation.

"you call her what you want - i'm sticking with lolotte, she announced pleasantly, her french brogue returning to her briefly with the nickname. "are you italian, trésor? your name is very italian. i'm absolutely intrigued. fauna was studying nicoletta as if she were some new pet to be played with, then glanced at tis as if she was the mother who gave her said pet, all grateful and doe-eyed. suddenly, her back went straight and she removed her poised elbow from her thigh, looking all aghast. "i'm terrible. i'd forgotten to tell you my name!" fauna cleared her throat and settled in her seat more, placing one spindly hand over her heart. "i'm fauna, and welcome to camp liberty! say, i looked through your things, and you're not from around here, are you?" apparently, it was no strange thing to look through someone else's belongings according to fauna.

OLIVER CASH

Location; main hall
Interacting With; @lovely complex ash, @Altered Tundra eli & jackson, @Wade Wilson ghost
CURRENTLY WEARING

with ash's calm countenance in addressing jackson, oliver assumed that he wasn't as bad as the first description of him made him out to be. after all, how would he feel if his first impression was shattered simply because of what someone else said about him? he shot a thoughtful look jackson's way; maybe he was some avid wilde reader who had his moments of hysteria, or he was a violinist who had some daredevilist tendencies, or he was a straight a student who had some criminal streak just to 'get it out of his system.' there oli went again with the romanticizing. he reminded himself to calm down, and the interested look directed at jackson turned into a more scornful and judgmental one, his eyebrows furrowing and his jaw setting in place. he was sent here to fix that huge degree of cynicism that lingered under his veil of innocence, sure, but he also needed to be less of a pushover. that meant no more clinging to the hope that everyone was truly good and more allowing himself to just not like all those that he meets.

he met aisling's glance once she began talking about him and straightened his back so that he was no longer looking solemnly toward the ground, trying to appear less lackluster in the eyes of the infamous jackson drake. hopefully it worked, but most likely it didn't - while his posture surely looked more confident from afar, it didn't match the nervous tinge that surrounded all of his facial features and, y'know, his entire demeanor. he didn't necessarily care to listen to the red teamer's response to ash's question, but his ears were perked anyway; what in the hell would someone like that like about a place like this? surely it was some artificial answer, like the fact that a place in the middle of the woods had a media room with an abundance of consoles, or that he was allowed to skateboard freely through this hall like he owned the place. you cynic, he accused himself, rolling his shoulders to release the building tension.

elijah's translucent but not exactly transparent gaze was more threatening than ash's, in his opinion. translucent in the sense that those royal gems were quite literally see-through and ghostly, but not transparent in the sense that oliver could not get anything of substance from a look alone. he couldn't understand anything about eli from simply studying his external appearance, and it was annoying as all hell. you could read jackson because he looked like a ratty little kid, but elijah was a different story. if this was what all grey teamers were like, with all their supposed mystery... oli knew he wouldn't get on exactly well. plus, the way eli faced him with a certain confidence, as if he could see right through him, it was unnerving more than anything else. a paranoia began to rise in the newcomer and he shifted uncomfortably, avoiding direct eye contact with the other boy lest he inadvertently reveal anything about himself through meeting his gaze. this was all... a bit too much, all at once.

despite how intimidating he was on the outside, elijah's next words were comforting. oliver visibly deflated, his shoulders relaxing just a bit, and he smiled at eli sheepishly. he brought that sweet little smile over to ash once her name was up in the air again, but it quickly disappeared when he heard eli's hidden chuckle, presumably directed at jackson's accident. if it was an accident. oliver had a sneaking suspicion that this was some publicity stunt. whatever the case may be, he half-ignored the rambling from jackson as best he could, deciding he didn't like the kid simply from how juvenile his words were. but he was unable to do so for long - soon, the boy was talking to him, and oliver sat back quickly as if to dodge a strike from jackson. nessa, oddball, really hot; oli was slightly offended by the words, but partially grateful to learn her name, even if it came from such an unreliable source. "nessa," he repeated after jackson contemplatively, and he had half the mind to tell jackson off for his extraneous comments, but he didn't have even a third of the heart.

while he wondered what exactly jackson was thinking about once a very otherworldly, fearful look came into his eyes, oli didn't bother asking. jackson answered anyway. oliver scoffed audibly at the shortened explanation - as if jackson could pass his exams, and if he failed he would have no right to blame it on some skateboarding stint. don't be so rude, oliver, he could hear his mother's voice, and oli knew all of his anger was going to jackson simply because he was an easy target, but it's not like keeping it all in his head would hurt the kid. while he was aware that jackson proceeded to inspect him like some vet searching for fleas on a dog, oli didn't have the courage to meet his eyes, and instead withdrew even more into himself. what's he looking for? some sort of weak spot? oli clutched his jacket closer to him, suddenly extremely self-conscious. just as quickly, he berated himself for feeling that way under some idiot's gaze.

why so quiet? bad news. oli finally glared at jackson, feeling rosacea light his cheeks up faintly. it was weak to get angry over such a small provocation, but... jackson was coming closer, asking questions, and oliver felt like the world was closing in on him. just a kid, he reminded himself, but none of the rage he felt mentally was showing on his face; there was no way to ward off jackson with any crazy eyes. all his expression read was 'awkward kid feeling awkward.' as usual. he was close enough that oli could feel the red teamer's breath, and he scowled, prepared to snap verbally, but then jackson shot back to answer ash. praise the lord. while the answer he had to give wasn't the most pleasant of all, oliver breathed out shakily, feeling the trembling that racked his torso cease slowly. he didn't even hear any of the words jackson was saying, but it's not like a response about 'hot chicks' meant anything to someone like him.

in all of his mental turmoil, oliver didn't notice yet another person practically flying at them. he widened his eyes at the new face sliding on the floor like a penguin, looking round at the other members of the team for answers, until he realised the stranger was looking at him. fam. ah, so that meant he was part of this team. oli's eyes followed him like trained machinery as he stood, wondering if perhaps he should say hello, or... so... this the new kid, huh? oliver felt almost like the person addressing him didn't like him, but then his face suddenly lit up with a smile, and oli instinctively forced himself away after a split-second of his hair being ruffled. realising that must have looked pretty out of place, he smiled apologetically up at the other boy, flicking his gaze to the ground again. alex, ghost, dad - all of those were familiar, and oliver looked at him once more, sticking the name to his face. alex, ghost, dad - those were three options to choose from, and oli decided the safest way to go was probably his real name and not some pet name or kink name: alex. he forced a nervous little laugh at alex's personal introduction, picking at the dandelion rather than addressing the off-center intro.

"you're the leader," he stated thoughtfully, as if it wasn't obvious, nodding his head morosely. he still couldn't bring himself to think of ghost as his actual position, instead opting for ash as the head of grey. but he wouldn't say that out loud; for god's sake, he wasn't going to call out the leader right in front of him. "i'm oliver." he decided now was the time to ask the question that had been nagging him, addressing the majority of the group rather than ash this time, seeing as she was currently being... begrudgingly, oliver admitted it seemed like she was being flirted with by jackson, albeit in a rather amateur manner. they were like schoolyard kids dancing around actually admitting their fancies. "just - out of curiosity, what is this place? what are we doing here, some sort of orientation?" he barely stayed at reception long enough to take note of what they were going to be up to here, but that's what teams are for - saving him from being the cat curiosity killed.

Aisling did give Eli a playful wink when he mentioned that she was the Grey team’s exception of athleticism, since many of their team members would rather sit and watch kids make fools of themselves then get in on some of the action. What made the camp administrators place this robust woman on a team that seemed at a disadvantage versus other teams when it came to strenuous activities was a rather simple reason, really. Her appearance and rebel tendencies met the stereotype, so it was a no-brainer.

Finding out the second year of camp that her counselor didn’t expect the daughter of the wealthy Logan Hawthorne to be as energetic as she was, Ash took it upon herself to make sure she was not judged because of her father's name. The counselor thought that the only child of such prestige would be more of an intellectual than anything else. Even with the built Ash had, the narrow-minded woman assumed the rich ‘princess’ used her father’s money to get her fine display of a body. Isn’t that the damndest thing? Did her boobs look artificial? Did all intellectuals solely focus on their studies and not stay in shape? Or was it simply because she was a daughter of fortune and that obviously meant she wasn’t happy with her appearance and needed to change her imperfections with plastic surgery? After telling the woman off and getting her fired, Ash decided to avoid the camp counselors for the rest of her years at Camp Liberty.

After Jackson told everyone of his ‘public service announcement’, brought up the odd girl known as “Nessa”, and soon after got mentally lost in his recollection of a near death experience, his sea green orbs filled with distress at just the thought, Ash glanced over at Oliver. Something in her didn’t want to look away from him for even just a second. Was it because he looked like a scared child surrounded by things he didn’t know, like he would pass out any moment from culture shock? He seemed to be going through a roller coaster of emotions in the inside. One moment, he would uncomfortably shift in his seat, closing himself off to people he did not know, and the next, his shoulders would relax when someone said reassuring words. The older woman wondered if he was aware that he was being observed by his new family, especially her. Did that add to his anxiety or ease it? Her question to Jackson about camp and their morning jog looked like it saved the poor thing from being hovered over by a complete stranger. Perhaps, sometime today she would take Oli on a walk and give him kind words of advice to make him think more positively of his time here. Granted, days were always random here. Anything could happen and anyone could pop into other’s lives when they least expected it.

Running her right hand through her brown hair, her soft yet unreadable gaze fell back onto the lively red member. With her melted chocolate voice, tantalizing yet distant to make her more worth craving, Ash enchantingly questioned, ”You still think you can beat me? That’s so cute." The woman loved a competitor that was just as good as her and most definitely better than her at a few things, though he has yet to win. It sparked interest between the two and gave them a reason to play a game that kept them feeling young. She saw him as a friend she enjoyed spending time with, thinking little on his request to go on a date with her and ‘romance the fuck out of her’. There was earnest feelings behind his terms and conditions but deep down the human lioness believed his intentions were simply because she was aesthetically pleasing and an unyielding challenge, nothing more and nothing less. Even with his change in facial expression so that he could be taken seriously, Ash still doubted that he actually cared. This was all fun and games and even if he won his date, nothing would come out of it. This was her last summer at Liberty and a film romance was not something on her agenda.

Standing up, inches away from Jackson, but still looking up at the tall, strawberry blonde boy, the dark beauty crossed her arms and smirked, ”I won’t go easy on you.” Her scent of Orchid lingered off her blemished free skin. It was light and warm, similar to vanilla, but with a bit more of a floral touch, giving off romance, indulgence, and elegance all in one waft.

As if right on cue, Aisling turned her head to see a sliding Alex heading in the direction of their little group. Covering her mouth to stop herself from laughing, she was terrible but this was too funny, Ash never took her gaze off him. Soon enough, his slide came to a stop. Immediately, Ghost acknowledged the newcomer.

Shifting her body to face more towards Alex than Jackson, a light gleam appeared in Ash’s chocolate orbs as she looked at her best friend. Finally, he was here.

You’re such a dork.” she teased. It was apparent the leader of Grey saw more to Ash than anyone in this entire camp did and it showed in her childlike expression and brighter tone.

Her stare fell on Oliver once more, when he asked a logical question for first year camp goers. He had opened the question up for everyone to answer, but like mothers do best, she replied before anyone else could, ”This is the main building where we eat, play video games or watch movies in the media room, go to the medical office if we scraped our knee or whatever, and other fun or important things. Basically, if you have any concerns come here." She briefly paused to let him take in the information, before continuing once more, "Soon, Introductions will begin which is like you said, Orientation. It’s the same every year with minor changes when it comes to giving us the lowdown of the competition. That reminds me, Tate and Luisa are taking their sweet ass time this year…” Ash searched the room for the Demerson siblings.

Bringing her attention to Ariel, she kindly asked, ”Hey Ari, can you shoot them a text? With those two, who knows when they’ll show up."

Alton Kitt Sanders

Location: dad's car > pink cabin > main hall
Interacting with: Via Text: Favorite Slut Hana (@Fabricant451); Precious Air-head Nessa (@lovely complex)
Outfit

Another year at Camp Liberty. While the outdoors were something Kitt Sanders disliked heavily - "Indoors were invented for a reason, people!" - seeing old and new faces would totally be worth overcoming the pestering bugs and dirty dirt of the outside. His disdain was showed openly, like his disdain with everything, when his Dad mentioned the dooming outside. With its fresh breezes and pokey grass and bright sun- well, the bright sun was nice but the rest could go to Hell, damnit! Especially the bugs, vile little buzzing things. Disgusting! Kitt hated disgusting. They were tiny winged spawns of Satan, Kitt knew they were. Evil to their little bodies' cores, only here on Earth to make everyone's life that much harder. Kitt really, really disliked the outdoors. Kitt's disdain showed further at his Dad's amusement of his impending suffering. "I swear, if we have to sleep outside again, I will die!" the young boy announced dramatically, slumping back in the cushioned front seat of his Dad's Mazda.

George chuckled at just how much his son could be overdramatic. It always caused for a show, that was for sure. "You have to sleep outside each year, you know this." he pointed out, driving along the winding, paved road that would lead to the camp, the greenery on either side a beautiful sight, a stark difference between the concrete forest they lived in. "Such a drama queen, Kitt. Just like your Father. You're both so alike, it's eerie." he continued on in a teasing tone, taking his time along the road, enjoying the pretty sights; the last two years, both he and Bryan had driven Kitt up to the Camp, for a long, drawn-out goodbye because they were always sad to see their little drama baby leave for any extended period of time. This time, Bryan couldn't come with, and Kitt was a bit bitter about it. Of course, he hadn't hid it, and he still wasn't hiding it. Such an open little sassy book, he was. He never ceased to entertain, that was a fact.

"I'd see my son off for his third year at camp, though. That's our difference." Kitt said, looking at his nails; trimmed, filed down, and polished, the sunlight streaming in through the tinted windows catching on them and making them gleam. That was another problem with the outside; it always dirtied his beautifully put together self. Last year, he ruined his nails from one of the games. Broke one and got dirt caked under all of the others. He had been so upset. Hana was a doll by helping him repair his horribly abused nails. He promised them that wouldn't happen again this year however, Kitt liked to win. He liked the attention it put on him. Though, he had to decide between having the perfect nails or the attention a win brought. It was a hard choice, one he took way too seriously. Speaking of that precious slut Hana, he needed to text her and see where she was at so he could make sure she wasn't making some fashion faux pas. He worried about his girls and their fashion choices; it was all for their benefit... and his eyes benefit, too.

George snorted. "Such a Daddy's girl! Can't go one minute without him, can you?" as the amused words were uttered, the sleek black Mazda pulled into the parking lot of Camp Liberty. Kitt shot a nasty look at his Dad, whipping his phone out and pulling up his text messages. "You're a Daddy's girl too." he said, laughing at his own joke as he started a new text message. George parked the car and turned to Kitt, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, wouldn't you like to know what we get up to-"

"Oh Hell no, you can stop that right now, Dad!" Kitt shouted to talk over his Dad, looking at him with wide, blue eyes. At his Dad's laughing response, he sighed dramatically and rolled his eyes, dropping his head back against the headrest. "Oh why, why, did I end up with you two?!" he asked the ceiling of the car, stomping his foot a little on the floorboard. He loved the two men in his life to death, without them, he wasn't sure where he would be. But sometimes, he really wanted to die when they would tease him with stuff like that. No thank you he didn't want to know how babies were made by them, okay?

George laughed. "Okay, okay, chill. Look, you know Bryan wanted to be here, so stop being a bitter little cunt, and go have a fun summer; you can call him." his Dad said calmly, watching Kitt's head whip to the side to look at him in shock. "Daaaaad!" he yelled, waving his hands a little, "You are on a roll and you need to stop!" that received another laugh from his Dad and Kitt sighed again. He sighed a lot around his parents. They were deserving of every dramatic sigh. He finally realized he hadn't even started a text and quickly went to do so, thumbs flying over the touch screen.

To: my fav slut hanananana
My main bitch! i'm here & i'm queer! where r u??

"Who're you texting? A boy, I hope." George asked, trying to lean over to look, but Kitt pressed the button on the side of his phone to make the screen go dark and shot his Dad an annoyed look. "No." he said pointedly, pulling down the little ceiling mirror to look his face over. He would check himself over again in the cabin's bathroom, that he knew already. What? He had to make sure he looked his best for the new faces. You never knew who was going to be around to impress. Maybe a cute boy, mhm. He knew, since he was a little later than usual, he was more than likely late to getting the single bed in the Pink cabin. Though, he could be a dreamer and pretend he would have it, right? "It's Han-Han. Probably gonna text Nessa too. That air-head- precious air-head. Sometimes, I worry she might float off." Kitt rambled, flicking at his bangs, which were styled to perfection, not a hair out of place. He winked at himself before letting the mirror snap back into place.

"Have you met any cute boys?" George asked curiously, since Kitt never told them anything about boys from the camp. But, Kitt looked at the dashboard's clock, and whistled low. "Look at that time! Look, Daddy, it's been fun, but I must go. And yes, I can get my bags, no need to help. I got this." after George sighed and decided to not push it, he presented his cheek and Kitt gave it a loud, smacking kiss. "Be good! Don't do anything I wouldn't!" Kitt said in a sing-song voice, opening the door and getting out. Though, he ducked back in, to grab his smaller bag that had been at his feet, and to hear his Dad's reply.

"Well, that doesn't leave much to do then, does it?" George mused jokingly and smiled at his son. "Have fun. Call us soon." he said, voice becoming firm, and Kitt, again, sighed. See? He sighed a lot around his parents. "I will, you boob! Bye-bye, Dad, love you!" he blew him a kiss before closing the door. The trunk was already popped and he got his two, giant suitcases out. Seriously, giant. Kitt even had winter wear in there. Hey, you never know what you might need! His smaller bag had a strap which he put on his shoulder and the other two, he could roll, so he lifted up the handles to roll them behind him. He went to the path that led to the campgrounds and waved at his Dad as he was backing out. He stood there for an extra moment, to watch the black car drive off, and then pulled out his phone again.

To: precious air-headed nessa
guess whos here! u better find me soon, i need a nessa hug u cute whore u

It didn't take long for him to make his way to the Pink cabin after that. The sun did feel amazing on his skin, though besides that, the outside was an evil place. When he entered the Pink cabin, his dream didn't come true; someone's bag and suitcase was thrown haphazardly on the single bed. Well, shit with a side of fuck. He sighed for the hundredth time that day, it wasn't uncommon for that number to get in the thousands honestly, and put his giant suitcases on the bottom bunk, along with his smaller bag. Afterward, like he knew he would, he went and checked himself in the bathroom mirror, even going ahead and claiming one of the vanity mirrors for himself. After primping himself like the little queen he was, he smacked his lips and decided to go announce his presence to the main hall. The quicker he got there to avoid a possible bug attack - he truly believed they sought him out to attack him - the better. So, off he went, walking through the campgrounds with a confidence a famous model would hold for themselves, and entered the main hall. Of course, he had to go check himself in, let the adults know he was here and present and ready for a summer of good, clean fun! Good, clean fun his sweet perky ass. After standing in line for what felt like forrrevvverrrr, it was time to go into the main hall, and see new and old faces. He stepped into the room, which was quite full by now, and cleared his throat a bit. "Everyone, everyone, calm down! While the Queen has arrived, there is no need to stop what you're doing! Continue on, my peasants, continue on!" he shouted, and while his tone was overall joking, there was an underlying of seriousness to it. He was something to marvel at, and marvel everyone should. With a big smile that showed his pearly whites, he began to move around the room, just to take in the faces, and to see if he saw anyone he knew. It was growing crowded, considering it was drawing closer to the time of official meet and greets or whatever the hell you wanted to call it. It didn't bother Kitt any; it meant more attention on him if he so desired it.

Location: Pink Cabins --> Main Hall
Interacting with: Adorable, Sweet Girl Nessa @lovely complex, Asian spectator Hana @Fabricant451, owner of beautiful sundress Pippa @Harley Q, slay me with those arms Mathius @Lockerz

Fiorella had been right in the middle of a twirl while dancing to Rihanna's 'S & M' when she noticed a girl's blonde head curiously peering at her from the door. The girl gave her a bright smile, and when she spoke her voice was as sweet as honey. "Hey! Looks like our beds are near each other. I'm Nessa! Mind teaching me some of your dance moves later?"

Fiorella couldn't help but give her a wide smile. Gosh, this girl was so freaking adorable! From the sweet, innocent look on her pretty face down to the cheerful tone of her voice, Lela was absolutely in love with this cutie named Nessa. If Lela ever had a daughter, she would love for her to be like Nessa. "A pleasure to meet you, Nessa! I'm Fiorella, and I'm down to teach you these moves whenever you're free." she kindly replied to the girl.

"Check out the Main Hall! There's a bunch of people I bet would love to meet you. I can't talk right now... I have somewhere to be. See you at intros!"

"Will do! Gracias, bella! See you there!" Lela watched the young girl run away and get lost in the trees with a soft smile on her face. If the rest of her teammates were as lovely as she was, then Lela was in for an amazing summer.

While she had been talking to Nessa, a very popular song of one of Fiorella's favorite female artists began to play. The fire of dancing had been lit inside Lela again and she was once again moving her body to the beat of Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda". Just two months before, Lela and her squad had participated in Baldwin School's annual talent show, and 'Anaconda' was the song they'd chosen to dance to. They had spent weeks perfecting the moves alongside a professional choreographer, so it came to no surprise to anyone when the girls won first place in the dancing category. Their victory had been a controversial one because of the 'sexual nature' of their dance (that's what the teachers had said, anyway), but the public had decided they were the rightful owners of the title. In the end, Lela and her girls had won and no one could do anything about it

Feeling a pair of eyes on her, Fiorella once again turned around and noticed a beautiful Asian girl standing right in front of the cabin door. From the way she was standing and the look on her face, it was obvious she'd been there for a while, probably as an audience to the choreography that Lela had been so passionately practicing. And from the woman's next words, Lela's assumptions were proven to be correct.

"I wasn't aware they were shooting a Nicki Minaj video at camp this year," the Asian girl said in a jovial tone, making a reference to the song playing and Lela's dance moves.

Lela let out an amused bark of loud laughter. "Ay, mija, I wish!" she playfully replied to the young woman, walking towards her to formally introduce herself when a charming, singsong voice called out the name Hana. A beautiful young woman in what was the most stunning sundress Lela had ever seen walked in their direction, stopping at the entrance of the pink cabin to greet the Asian girl whose name was apparently Hana. She had long, brown hair styled in soft waves that cascaded down her shoulders, and her petite figure was flattered by the colorful sundress Lela liked so much. As first impressions went, she already had Lela's first seal of approval.

“Hana!” the newcomer enthusiastically greeted the Asian woman. These two had clearly been already acquainted. “I was just wondering when I would be seeing you! Our lovely new team member distracted me! Isn’t she… adorable?”

Fiorella gave the girl a bewildered look. Adorable? She'd been called many adjectives before, ranging from beautiful to selfish whore and such, but the word 'adorable' was one she hadn't heard since she was like 9 years old. Oh, well. At least she was being praised and not insulted, so she wasn't complaining even when she failed to recognized just what was it about her that was 'adorable' to her fellow camper.

Miss Beautiful Sundress looked back at the Latina with welcoming eyes. “You look like you’ll fit in perfectly here. My name is Pippa.”

Lela offered both women a friendly, charming smile. "A pleasure, Pippa, Hana," she addressed each of them with a nod, taking turns to offer her hand to both. "I'm Fiorella Aguilar, but please, call me Lela. This is my first year here, and I hope to have a great experience with you all." All that dancing and organizing had left Lela in a state she so deeply detested: sweaty. So, she decided that the best thing to do at the moment was to get rid of all the sweaty, dirty clothes and see what was Nessa's buzz about the Main Hall. "Now, if you guys would excuse me, I'll be taking a shower to get rid of this disgusting sticky feeling I have after so much dancing. I'm looking forward to getting to know both of you!"

After giving each another smile, Lela quickly gathered her things and proceeded to take a quick shower. The time spent getting ready to look good was more than the actual shower, but the final product was worth it. Lela was now looking fashionably casual with light jean shorts, a tight, plain white tank top and a pair of light brown Sperry's. Her hair was once again down in all of its curly glory, but this time decorated with a panama hat she'd bought back at the Bahamas. Her big, colorful earrings and bracelets were also a Senior Trip acquisition, but her signature gold name necklace was as present as ever. She didn't dwell too much on her makeup, though, being summer and all: just some powder, a touch of blush, mascara to bring attention to her brown eyes and cherry-red lip gloss to make her lips juicier.

Lela, phone and keys in her pocket and gum in her mouth, made her way to the Main Hall, letting a trail of coconut-scented perfume behind her. With each step she took, her nervousness increased, and not even chewing gum helped her to control her stress. Even when she was trying to walk slowly, Lela found herself at the doors of the Main Hall earlier than she would have wanted. Taking a deep breath, Lela opened the door and walked inside.

The room was packed with teens: some looking like they had just hit puberty and others looking like they were pretty much adults already. A group of older ones dressed in dark colors were huddled by the couches on one corner of the room, and most of the people were socializing with each other, probably catching up with their lives after a long year apart. Watching everyone talk so animatedly made Lela's heart ache a little for her own group of friends. She was a complete outsider to this whole camp thing, and even more so to this country. She was cute, and she was friendly, but would anyone in this tightly-knitted community of campers be interested in becoming friends with a crazy, loud Puerto Rican chick? They probably thought that she had crossed the border illegally (even when Puerto Ricans had the US citizenship for being a US commonwealth, thank you very much) and was there to take their jobs or some crazy shit like that. What if they made fun of her accent, her loudness, or those random rants in Spanish she could sometimes do?

'No seas pendeja, Lela. Try it out and see what happens.

Thinking it was best to start out slow, Lela was about to turn around and leave when her eyes fell on the most gorgeous man she had ever seen in her entire life. His looks were so different from when she was used to back in her home country, and they were everything she had ever wanted in a man and more. He was tall and buff, with perfectly styled blond hair, light skinned tanned just right, broad shoulders to die for, and strong-looking arms that Fiorella would love to feel wrapped around herself as they spent a hot night together... If she hadn't been excited about being at Camp Liberty, she was now completely sold on the idea. Her strong will now had a purpose: before the end of this camp, Lela would have spent at least one night in the company of this handsome stranger even if it was the last thing she ever did.

'Time to turn on the Lela charm.'

Without wasting any more time, Lela made her way through the sea of people until she was just beside the guy. He seemed to be looking around for someone to recognize, but seemed just as lost as Lela was. He was completely alone now: if she wanted to make a move, it was now or never.

"Hey there, papi. What's a guy as handsome as you are so lonely?" Lela asked him in her most charming voice. She was looking up at his towering figure with a flirtatious smirk, eyes locked onto his in an unspoken playful challenge. She was never afraid to be assertive and make the first move (especially if the prize was as delicious as this one), and so she hoped that was enough to peak his interest. Up close, she could see that his eyes were of a mesmerizing green-blue that one could easily never stop staring at, and the light stubble on his sharp jawline only added to his appeal. Suffice to say, it was attraction at first sight.

The huntress had found her prey, and she would stop at nothing until she was victorious.

"Jackson, you're such a dork," Ariel said with a roll of the eyes. "You two would be cute together though..." Then there was Alex and his spontaneous entrance. She couldn't help but laugh at his words. "I'm sure it sounded way better, Dad," she said jokingly. Turning to Oliver, she wouldn't help but put a hand on his shoulder, then second guessing and pulling it away. "Hey, no worries. Athletic or not, you're already fitting in with Grey and I'm sure there is something that you'll be able to do."She herself couldn't help but wonder were on earth Luisa and Tate were. The two weren't the most punctual of the team, but this was Orientation. They had to be here. Well, sooner or latter. With Ash's request, she would already have her hands on her phone, scrolling through her contacts list. "Already on it, love."

Heya guys. Where the hell are you? We're all here, even the newest edition. Hope to see you soon.

"Alrighty, that's done. So, how was everyones summer," she said, placing her phone in her pocket. Before she could hear anyones response if there was one, her phone buzzed.
To: Serafina
From: Dad
Where are you? You just left without warning? I thought I taught you better?

The girls throat suddenly felt tight, her mouth dry as she literally felt the color fall from her face, along with her smile. She knew before reading the full test that it was her father. He was the only one that felt it necessary to call her by her actual name, and, in return, was the only time that she entered her full name in response. He wouldn't have her running around calling herself kitten, and, in return, being called that. All of that aside, the mans tone of voice was present in his words on the screen. She could picture his angered face perfectly in her mind.

I'm sorry, dad. I thought I told you that it was time for camp. Didn't you see the note on the fridge? I promise I'll be safe, and of course, you taught me well. If you want, I'll call you later.

"Oh, hey, yeah, no problem," the young man responded to Nicole. He let his hand drop, admiring her smile, which really wasn't all that bad. "Don't worry about it. People will forget it. After all, it really isn't all that much difference in the cabins. But hey, at least you sort of look like a green. And please, don't take that in the wrong way," he said with a chuckle. "I just meant you seem to have a sort of spunk to you."

Not within three seconds of his response did the Great Tis walk up. He laughed once more. "Ah, well, thanks love. Have to try to make a scene somehow, ya know." It seemed as if Fauna was here as well. Uh-oh. Listening to her words, Shawn rolled his eyes. Did she always have to mess in other peoples things? Hearing her ask if she was from around her, he shot her a look as if to say: shut up and don't freak her out. He quickly turned back to Nicole."Of course, as you can see, this is our dear Fauna. She comes with her strange quirks included."

Despite not agreeing with Faunas ways, he had to wonder what exactly what would be in Nicolettas bag that would set her apart form any other person. After all, what was to be found in someones luggage at camp? Clothes, hairspray? What exactly?

Raven Aster Willow

Location;; Main Hall
Interacting With;; The Clones @Wintergrey

Raven may have had her face buried in her phone, but she seen the Twins before they had ever approached. She had to hand it to them, they made a grand entrance with their childish ways. Smacking and falling around, it reminded her of what she and Shawn used to do when their parents had first married. Watching the show, she put her phone down in her lap, her face still in default, as she wondered what on earth this was all about. And it was then her questions were answered.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, guys. Calm down and slow it down. Finn, Eric, nice to meet you both," she held out her hand in a greeting. She listened closely, almost laughing when one of them -she couldn't tell which, both of them looking so similarly- asked her how her seeing was. "Oooh, a competition." Raven was now all ears. That was one of the best things that she loved about camp. There were competitions left and right, and it never ceased to amaze her at how much competitiveness that came out of such said events. The boys standing in front of her however, just had the competitive vibe. Then again, she supposed that was indeed common among twins, and siblings alike.

She gave them a simple shrug of the shoulders. "I supposed I could help you guys out. What kind of competition? Any basic rules that I need to know?"
