I think there are far more important things to worry about than people calling their characters "muses".

Quick word - just want to drop an uber thanks to everyone in this Rp for kicking it off so splendidly and being patient for the actual kick off since it took so long to get off the ground. The posts have been amazing, the back and forths great and the communication open and honest.

While this Rp is a monster to Gm, it is a complete joy working with such a dedicated and talented group of Rpers and I cannot wait to see what all happens. You have handled the random actions and wrath of Lady Luck swimmingly. Kudos to the entire group! You make an Old Gm happy.

Let's keep it moving and see what stories we can create as we continue. ^^

It could only happen because we have a wonderful GM! ^^

Okay, have not had word from Amy, Denny, Chaotic, Lop or Rogue since my last post asking for activity status. (Most of which have logged into the forum since that post)

So, not sure what to do. I want to push forward but wondering where to go from here. (Hushed posted clear posting requirements in the rules when we started.) - So, opinions. Push forward, open for new characters and assume inactive ones have moved out after a time jump, reboot and go with a different story line, etc.

Open for opinions and suggestions.

That's sad, I really don't want this to die D:

I think that we should possibly wait. Forget about the post limit and just post whatever till we have people back. I think finals are near for some so they just may be busy with that.

After that amazing night that had been Dominique's beach party, Audrey had spent every single second she could alongside her now-100% official boyfriend. When before Audrey would do the impossible to keep everything under wraps, now she was spamming all of her social media accounts with cutesy pictures of her and Troy. She wanted to let the world know she was his, and that she'd found that long sought-after happiness at his side. The way things were going, nothing could go wrong... Right?

The first day of school had been uneventful so far. She'd arrived early to make sure everything was clear and in order with her schedule, the Dance Team and have breakfast with Troy before heading off to class. The first three periods went by without anything interesting happening... That was, until Audrey was exiting her Creative Writing classroom and found Analise waiting for her outside.

"Audrey!" Anna called, putting on her happiest voice. Her voice cracked anyway, but she could only hope that Audrey didn't notice the tremour over the loud background chatter from the other students. Waiting until Audrey approached her, Analise smiled. "Ready for lunch?" She asked, gesturing towards the lunch hall.

"Ah... Aud? Before we have something to eat... I need to tell you something."

Audrey raised her eyebrows suspiciously at Anna. It wasn't like it was odd for Analise to be waiting for her outside her classroom for lunch, but she sensed something was different today. She didn't like the way her best friend was looking at her, or the way her voice had slightly quivered when she'd said that last sentence. Something was definitely up, and judging by Analise's nervousness, that something was not good.

"Sure, I'm ready for lunch. But what's going on?" Audrey asked in that intimidating, suspicious voice that only she could make. She crossed her arms out in front of her while keeping one haughty eyebrow up. Any other friend would make it easier for the other to confess anything to, but if these were bad news that would be affecting Audrey in some type of unexplained way, then she wasn't going to make it easy for anyone.

'Oh god she's doing the thing. Maybe this was a bad idea - I might have enough time to nudge in a joke before she gets too suspicious.' Anna thought, panic filling her up.

"Promise you won't get mad?" It was worth a shot. Anna may have been naive, but she wasn't stupid. Anna was either going to be killed for kissing Jackson, or she'd get Jackson killed. Or both.

But here's hoping to friendship, eh?

Audrey raised her eyebrows even higher, to a point not even she thought possible to reach. Whatever Anna had to tell her was definitely something Audrey didn't want to hear. "You know I can't promise anything, Anna. My temper can be easily swayed in one direction or the other. So, speak, my dear."

"I umm... I..." Inhaling sharply, Analise spoke in one breath; "JacksonandIkissedduringDomi'spartyandnowIthinkIhaveacrushonhim!"

Audrey gasped, her mouth forming a perfect O of surprise. Her head was spinning out of control as she tried her hardest to process what her best friend had confessed to her. Anna and Jackson? Kissing? At Domi's party? When the hell had that happened? How? Why?

After a few long minutes of shocked, stunned silence, Audrey cracked a little smile. "So you kissed Jax... He's quite good at that, isn't he? I don't blame you for getting a crush on the guy: handsome, athletic, sexy and just a great guy in general. He really is quite the catch. Go Anna!" Audrey finished with a chuckle, giving Anna a one-armed hug. "Kissing Jax is one thing, but as long as you didn't bang with him then the Girl Code has not been broken, and our friendship has not been harmed."

Anna wasn't sure whether she was dreaming or not. Audrey, smiling after being told that her best friend kissed her ex/other best friend? It was either a dream, or her new boyfriend was definitely rubbing off on her. Anna let out a sigh of relief. At least she wasn't incurring her wrath. At least, not yet. "N-no," her cheeks flushed at the thought of banging Jackson. She could barely wrap her mind about kissing him, but... the other thing? Too soon.

Tomato-faced, Anna continued to deny assure her friend. "I promise, we didn't do anything. It was a kiss, and then we watched the sunset together. Nothing else, okay!"

Audrey simply giggled at the way Anna's face got all red at the mention of them getting it on. Leave it to Analise to be all prudish about just the thought of such a thing. She knew in her heart Anna wouldn't betray her like that, so why get upset over things that hadn't happened? "You know, I'm actually jealous!" Audrey said in a mocking tone. "Jackson never took me to watch the sunset! I'll be having a few words with him about that!" she finished the statement with a laugh so Anna could tell she was joking. No harm done to any of the parties involved.

Anna laughed, partially awkwardly and partially with relief. 'As long as she doesn't kill him for it.' She thought. Things were looking up!

Troy wanted to be elsewhere. Anna annoyed the fuck out of him. And it wasn't REALLY her fault, she just happened to be far too nice for him. And too friendly. And too naive. And too blond, Troy didn't really like blonds anymore, not since the last one he'd been with. As the two girls talked, Troy couldn't help but stare at Anna. He hadn't wanted to comment, but he couldn't help himself now. "Oh my god, Anna, who the hell cares? You can do what you want, you're damn near a bloody adult, don't come apologizing for kissing someone. I never asked for this."

Audrey rolled her eyes at Troy and gave him a slap in the arm. "Troy, don't you have somewhere else to be or someone to beat up? I didn't force you to be here, you know. I love you, but there is really no need to follow me around like a pitbull, babe. Plus, you have no business telling Anna whether or not she should share with me that she kissed Jax. He is my ex-boyfriend, after all!"

"A-ah, it's f-fin--"

"Kissing?"

Audrey's head had nearly snapped and her brown locks had flown from her back when she turned in the direction of the sound of a familiar voice she detested incredibly. She had to admit that the girl had balls to prance around the halls and interrupt Audrey's conversation with her best friend, let alone stand at such a close distance from her knowing fully well she was Troy's new girlfriend now. She probably thought she was untouchable with that dumb butler of hers, but heaven knew Audrey didn't care about that. "Who the hell called you into this conversation, Blondie?" Audrey briskly asked Alyssa. "Didn't your parents teach you it was rude to barge into people's conversations, or were they gone for so long that they couldn't even afford to teach you those basic manners?"

Annnd, there was the blond that Troy didn't like. Alyssa Green. His ex girlfriend, sort of. And her ever present butler, Logan. Although, Troy was almost positive that he was the only person that called the man by his name; Lyss simply called him Butler. Fantastic. Troy sighed and looked over at the pair as they approached, making a face. "Lyssa, don't you have, like, servants to terrorize, or people to seduce?" He asked sarcastically and Alyssa scoffed as Butler rolled his eyes. Troy nodded to the man. "Logan."

"Troy." Butler said, returning the nod before Alyssa pulled her sunglasses off of her face and pointed at Analise, folding her arms.

"I'm just saying, she told me she was getting the d. How was it, anyway? Pretty dope I bet. I remember the first time I got fucked. And please, Anna, don't call it "getting the d" ever again. I dropped Winnie off at Geo's. Did you know there's a duck there? The fuck is up with that?"

If only for a moment, Audrey Hunstberg was left speechless. Analise hadn't just kissed her ex boyfriend: she'd banged with him. Just like she told him she hadn't. Anna had lied to her, and Jackson had bailed on her to have sex with her best friend. All of this done behind her back. Again, Audrey's head was spinning, but this time her ears were blocking off any other sound besides that high-pitched piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing sound of her neurons dying.

"YOU KNOW THE DUCK." Troy protested.

"....I do?"

'Oh god... I thought too soon.' Anna looked over her shoulder in horror. Alyssa was here. And it only meant one thing. Anna was boned. "N-no, Alyssa! Nothing happened! I just texted that to get you to stop texting me!" Anna explained, attempting damage control.

Troy and Butler quietly shared a look that said, very plainly "I never asked for this," as Alyssa looked at Anna and folded her arms, pouting slightly. "Why would you lie to me? Maybe if you responded to my texts in a timely manner, I wouldn't have to send so many!" She complained, blowing a raspberry.

"If someone doesn't respond after the hundredth text, it's probably a good indication that they're busy." Anna responded. "And I knew that if I responded with anything other than that, you would have spammed me with even more messages!"

"You might be busy, but it doesn't matter what you're doing, it can't be more important than me. Have you met me? I'm a queen. I only didn't continue because you're a virgin and I wanted you to enjoy getting railed by what's-his-face. I see now I made a mistake." Alyssa said before huffing and tossing her hair over her shoulder.

Audrey had stopped hearing everything that was going on around her from the moment she'd heard Alyssa say Anna had been getting Jackson's d. By the time she'd gathered her thoughts and decided what would be the best course of action, Alyssa had walked away. It had been a lucky call for her, though, because had Audrey heard the way she spoke to Anna, what she'd been saying or had spent another minute next to Audrey she would've gotten a slap at least.

Now, Audrey turned to Anna with one of the darkest scowls she'd ever had on her beautiful face. "You know, Anna, out of all the people who could have done this to me, you're the one I east expected to. And I'm sure you should know fully well by now I despise being lied to and being thought of as a fool. I thought we were friends, Analise, and friends don't lie to each other. How would you have liked it if you had an ex, and then out of nowhere I come up to you and tell you I kissed him and have a crush on him only to have someone else correct what I said by telling you we fucked instead?" Audrey gave Anna a few seconds to let that sink in. "I don't think we can be friends anymore, Arnette. But you sure have plenty of those, don't you? So it's not like I'll be missed or anything." she told her with a sarcastic laugh. "See you around, then."

Anna felt her heart breaking into a million pieces. This was definitely not the outcome she had in mind. Things were going well, damnit! Now she had not only lost her best friend to a misunderstanding, but she probably even lost another friend by being a complete douche. "Wait, Audrey- you're misunderstanding this situation-" Anna stepped forward, as if to block any exit route her (ex)best friend could have.

And with a broken heart unlike anything she'd ever experienced before, Audrey turned her back on her long-time best friend and walked away. When people often say that best friend break-ups are a million times harder and more hurtful than couple break-ups, they aren't lying. Though externally keeping a cold, stony-face, Audrey could feel as a big part of her was now void and empty. But what else could she do? Her best friend had pretty much betrayed her. It was best to part ways now before anything more serious could happen.

It seemed like her attempt at blocking the exit didn't work anyway, as Audrey simply brushed past her as if she didn't exist anymore. Anna felt her eyes sting, and she pressed the palm of her hand against her eye to stop any tears. This was definitely the worst day, ever. But Anna knew she wasn't going to let Audrey simply walk away like that. It was best to let her cool down, to get her own feelings back in place before attempting to get Audrey to listen to her again. And only once she was sure that Audrey knew the full story, she would back off and let Audrey choose whether she wants to remain friends or not. It hurt, but now it was time to play the waiting game.

And Anna hated waiting.

"Oooh, did I say the wrong thing? Whoops, I forgot to care..." Alyssa tsk'd-tsk'd and drummed her fingers on her side. She paused for a moment, and looked over at Butler, then back at Anna. Troy took a moment to process the situation, then gave Butler another respectful nod before he dipped off after his girlfriend. Alyssa scoffed again toward the departing Troy before turning her attention once more to Anna. "So, anyway, I was thinking I would just pick Winnie up from the pet sitter, and take him to the castle, to play with Turk. Turk's at the pet sitter as well, you see? I wasn't really sure about anything, but I figured 'Turk needs more friends, and what better place to get friends than a place with people just like you in it?' And then I thought it'd be easier if he already had a friend, and Turk only really has one other dog he likes, at least right now. And that's Winston. So naturally, I let myself into your house, and took him to Geo, since she's so highly recommended by you." Alyssa paused for a moment, and cleared her throat, seemingly oblivious to the touchy situation going on around her.

"Anyway, you're welcome to stop by whenever you want, lovely. I have something to attend to." She smiled, and blew Analise a kiss before departing, Butler walking behind her. As they walked away, Butler's almost stern words could be made out:

"It wasn't really your place to do th-" But he was quickly cut off by the queen of the world, who gave him a sharp reply:

"Buttle in silence, Butler. It suits you better."

With each step she took, Audrey kept a lookout for the man who was at fault for this whole mess. As soon as she laid eyes on him, Audrey sprinted at Jackson and gave him the hardest slap she could, mustering all of her anger and kick-boxing developed strength into the hit. She couldn't help the way her body was now quivering with rage. "You fucking asshole!" Audrey hissed at him. "You think you can just bail on me to go fuck my best friend behind my back and expect me to not find out?! And you left me alone with Alexandros, at that, knowing fully well what he did to me ahd what could've happened had he turned on the charm long enough! I know it wouldn't be Anna's idea to take a 'romantic walk along the beach' to butter things up for a night of banging, so I'm perfectly aware that you were the instigator of all of this. Well, the both of you have now officially lost me as a best friend. I hope you two find comfort next to each other."

If Audrey thought her heart couldn't break any further, she'd been wrong. Losing one best friend was hard enough, but two at the same time? It wasn't fair, and her tough-girl persona couldn't take it.

She turned to Troy with tears in her eyes. "Babe, I'll be taking the rest of the day off. Too much has happened today, and I know I won't be able to concentrate with the shit way I'm feeling right now. I'll just be holed up in my room crying my eyes out with a pint or two of Ben and Jerry's. Feel free to join me if you wish."

Troy nodded his agreement to Audrey, kissing her forehead lightly. "Okay. Anything you want, princess. I'll drive you there." He kissed her again before looking at Jackson and giving him a shrug and an apologetic look.

Meghna barely managed to catch the tossed can, blinking down and staring at the label with a blank look on her face. A grimace made its way onto her face, and she suppressed any complaints she originally had. Seriously, with the amount of shit she was keeping in, she deserved an award. "I might have some old biscuits in my bag if we get desperate." She tossed the can into her bag, shutting it carefully and shouldering the backpack.

Meg took a look across their choices. It had to be reasonable: they were to find resources and hopefully people, they'd most likely need something big enough to fit an extra couple people including herself and Caesar, alongside their supplies and gathered weapons. Spying a dark blue pick up truck not too far from her, Meg grabbed the keys for it, swinging it around her index finger. "Right there - we'll stuff our supplies and get moving soon." She said shortly, reaching the truck and opening the door. She slid inside and tossed her bag over her shoulder towards the back seat - not before taking out her map first.

"Mind if you hold that? You can call me an idiot if I go the wrong way." She offered as she waited for Caesar to enter the truck. Franklin was approximately twenty to thirty miles towards the south-west. If things went perfectly, they would reach their destination in at least half hour and they would have the rest of the day to salvage supplies and look for any good survivors - but that would be only if lady luck was smiling upon them.

But this was the apocalypse, there was no such thing as a smiling lady luck.

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

A beat.

"Are we there yet?"

"No."

Another beat.

"Are we ther---"

"No! We aren't there yet. Stop being so bloody annoying." Jesse stared down at his sister -no, stepsister - with an exasperated glare. The girl beside him simply sighed loudly, deflating into the seat at the back of the car as she sighed again abnoxiously. They had been invited to some party by Jonathan Steel, a celebration for getting into the top-something of the UK charts. It was quite the accomplishment, Jesse had to admit, but it didn't mean you had to celebrate it with other competing artists.

Oh well, to each their own.

The car slowed down by the pavement, eventually stopping by the Social Club. Mia, of course, was the first one out of the car, stretching her short body and letting her joints pop back into place. "Why'd we have to pick up Dex anyway? Couldn't he have just come by train?"

"I could've," another male came up behind her, ruffling her hair - to which she scowled - "but what's the point of having friends that can drive if they don't pick you up from your home?" Dex laughed as Mia swatted his hand away, smoothing her hair out before turning towards Jesse, who had just shut the car door. Jesse gestured towards the door, and the three band-mates headed inside.

Inside, there weren't too many people, but it wasn't empty either. Mia looked down at her clothes and was glad she had chosen it. It wasn simple and cute, but enough to warrent a second look from those that were interested. With a large, bright smile, Mia dragged her two bandmates across the room, introducing the Violet Lanes to other aspiring musicians. In the world of entertainment, two things were important: talent, and connections. She may not have been the best PR, but even she knew that socialising could prove to be benefitial at this sort of party.

Spying two other people sitting by a table - both dressed up casually - Mia dragged her band mates one final time towards the smaller group. "Hi! Pleasure to meet the two of you." Mia began, before pointing at each member of the Violet Lanes individually. "This is Jesse and Dex, and I'm Mia. We're Violet Lanes."

Time: Morning
Location: Newnan
Interacting with: Her brother mainly

Standing beside her brother, Meg fiddled with her fingers as she listened to Leann speak to the Newnan crowd in the middle of the crowd. Lately, Newnan had been feeling more and more unsafe, with the amount of walkers breaching through the walls quicker than the walls could be repaired. There was no questions to be asked, not this time. Meg looked over at the few that Leann had singled out to lead the expeditions outside - to gather people and resources alike - and tried deciding who would've been the better option.

Ash and James were two Meg got along with swimmingly. They could have a laugh, and be assured to keep a look out for the other. Meg may not have known them her entire life, but after the events of the apocalypse, she might as well have. She trusted them a lot more than she would trust many. Caesar... well, papi was not someone she would count as one of them. Sure, he was strong and was probably their best fighter. Knowing him, one look from Caesar Gonzalez was enough to send the walkers scrambling away from him.

Her decision didn't matter anyway, as Caesar himself stepped up in front of her - pointing at her like she was some zoo animal or a bloody PokΓ©mon - before ordering her to gather her shit. "Well, rude." Meg couldn't help but huff once Caesar was out of earshot. She turned to her brother, who looked like was also thinking about who to follow. It was lucky she was able to keep her words to herself, as she was sure Caesar would've probably glared at her till her cells refused to keep her alive any longer if he had heard.

"Well, seems like Papi Gonzalez has chosen me. If I come back as a walker or with my head on a spike with him holding it, just remember me as the best human being ever." She nodded at her brother, trying to lighten the mood. He turned his brown eyes to stare at her, an eyebrow raised. Instead of staying long enough to hear what he had to say, Meg patted his upper arm once before heading off in the same direction as Caesar went, intending to grab some weapons from the Armoury closer to the centre of the town. There wasn't much Meg could grab anyway: she wasn't physically strong, she only had luck and some good aim on her side. She was best only when it came to long distance fighting. Bow and arrows were the best Meg could grab, weapons that she wouldn't stumble using while in the middle of a life or death situation. Just to be safe, Meg even tucked in her hunting knife - her father's hunting knife - into her boots. Easy to grab, and easier to hide.

The rest, Meg decided, she would grab once she had grabbed her personal items from her living quarters. If she had heard Leann correctly, there were three locations she wanted them to check out. Ash chose Carrollton while the boss handed James LaGrange herself, leaving Franklin as the remaining option. She grabbed the map and pressed it against her desk, chewing on her thumb as she tried memorising the directions.

"So you're not going to let me talk?"

The sudden words jolted the teacher out of her skin, and she turned to face her twin with an exasperated expression. "Really? You really wanted to announce your presence like a vampire?"

Sidd let out a heaving sigh, rubbing his temples and tucking his glasses into his shirt pocket. "You're going out again. You need to be careful, Caesar might be strong, but you need to look out for yourself too-"

"I know, this isn't my first time going out on a run mother." Meg turned back around to face the map, using her finger to map out the route. "Just go back to your plant or whatever it is that you do now. There's no need for you to pretend you actually care." And there was nothing else to say. Sidd would always hesitate to answer back after those words, which Meg used to her full advantage. She hastily grabbed the map in her grip and grabbed her travelling backpack from underneath her cot. Without another word, Meg left her living quarters, in the direction of the cars to wait for Caesar.
@Sigil It will be quite interesting to see how they interact during all this
@LetMeDoStuff Gonna try and post up ASAP before yours though I have no plan what the post will contain. Just in case, would you mind if Mia walks up to Ted and Alex? @timelord1101
