"It's not ventriloquism, I'm invisible and kind of stuck," Zelda responded with regards to Dani's comment about it. Personally, it wasn't so bad for her to be invisible. People tended to ignore her anyway, so this was fine with her. Of course everything was going haywire and everyone was freaking out over one thing or another. For instance Mary Sue telling everyone that they for the most part had all died was not a good thing.

Though no one could tell, she was looking at Mary Sue, wondering what she was even really going on about. Telling everyone that they had died was seemingly the worst move possible. Everyone was starting to go off various directions, and she wanted to do nothing more than to get away from the chaos that was everyone else's emotions. She had enough issues controlling her own emotions to have to deal with everyone else's. Though she was glad to be allowed to leave as she stepped out of the room, really wanting to just go find someplace to read or something.

"Uh... Mary Sue? Most people don't like being told that sort of thing, at all. You kind of get used to that, but that was probably the absolute worst thing you could have said right now..." she said towards her. She knew what the TVA was (vaguely anyway) and had a slight feeling that they might end up doing something. But she didn't really want to think about that and hoped that they'd do nothing. The explanation of what she had missed before entering the room hadn't really helped her at all, so that was fun to think about.

Everyone started to leave more or less, well at least several people chose to walk out. Andy was asking if they could talk in her room, and Zari shrugged a bit. "Sure, why not? That in there was an interesting conversation. Probably was a bit more interesting though since I only caught the tail end of that, though maybe next time if we do time travel, we explain to anyone we drag along what not to do... Cause not sure that made anything better but eh, who knows."

The scientist looked at Max when he mentioned being unable to teleport directly there, and with regards to him believing that it was the Phoenix's doing. Xandra actually seemed a bit confused herself, before looking to the scientist. "I thought that the Phoenix has some natural weaknesses to magic?"

"Well the host does, it can more easily hurt the host depending on what type. However I have never heard of the Phoenix being able to block transporting of some sort into any given area."

"...Wait, so you're saying that someone else is stopping Max from just teleporting us to New Orleans with this thing?" Lance couldn't help but blurt out and ask.

"If that's the case I'd be concerned as to who would want to block us out. They let us get to New Orleans originally, and they even let us leave and come here. So who would want to stop us now, and why?"

"If we step through to New York, maybe we'll be able to figure it out there?"

"Well hopefully, otherwise the next thing would be either stealing a jet to fly over there from SHIELD or getting back to the mansion and taking the Blackbird over. Which would still probably cause issues timing wise getting there. Which also begs another question. How are we supposed to move this thing? Especially since we can't just teleport over with it now at the moment. And showing up in New York with this thing is going to make us stand out like a sore thumb over it."

"Well we do have a sort of hovering cart you can borrow to move it, but would not recommend firing it off while it is on it, since it isn't a stable platform."

"So basically make sure it is planted somewhere before firing, got it. But then again, still doesn't answer the question of us walking into the city with this... Unless someone wants to cast an illusion or figure out some other way?"

"I could create an illusion of sorts, to make it invisible," Klara piped up, having more or less just been listening to everyone else and the conversations more than anything. "But the problem with doing that means you might not necessarily see where it is and could easily run into it, or others could. So if you want me to, I can."

Pietro turned and looked at Jaclyn, hearing what she had said or suggested. Though he also noted that she had kind of ignored everything that had been stated about the type of person or being or whatever that Chrysi was that had already been said. Namely that she was psycho, and tended to like killing people. "I don't think you know anything about what you're talking about. Because if you did, you'd know that there isn't anything that could possibly make this or Chrysi a good thing. At all. The only somewhat helpful moment was when she popped up when we were escaping space prison, and now that one is arguably a moment of self preservation, everything else, not so much. You should have seen the reality my sister made. From what I gather she was kind of bad there. Like really really bad news."

"Trauma is what typically will cause it, but doesn't necessarily continue to be the trigger, not even necessarily stress, depending on how serious the issue is," Jean commented, trying to more or less somewhat explain without causing anymore issues.

"You all do realize that I'm still sitting right here and can hear you right?" Chrysi commented with a bit of an eyeroll at everyone.

"Don't think anyone asked you anything."

Jean let out a sigh at the conversations going on, before glancing at the others, "I'll see if I can help the other two, yell if you need something in the event that whatever happens doesn't break my concentration," she commented, before using her own telepathic powers and sort of started seemingly ignoring what was occurring now.

"You know, I thought this would be more interesting, but eh, it kind of isn't working out for me too much anymore." With that last word, she just poked the shield that was around her, and it popped like a bubble. "You all done being idiots now? And as mentioned, it is rude to talk about someone like they aren't there."

Jean let out a sigh at the conversations going on, before glancing at the others, "I'll see if I can help the other two, yell if you need something in the event that whatever happens doesn't break my concentration," she commented, before using her own telepathic powers and sort of started seemingly ignoring what was occurring now.

Something though would seem a little bit off with regards to Chrysi though to Perry and Bethany. Then it would seem a bit more obvious with the fact that despite she was free from the bubble now. She still wasn't actively doing anything, but based on previous interactions that have occurred, it wasn't likely that Jaclyn's idea was the reason. No, it had to be something else. Then it would hit them.

She was stalling.

Stalling for what exactly? That was anyone's guess, but it would be apparent that she seemed to be drawing out the interactions. Who or what she was stalling for, odds were they weren't going to be able to get her to tell them. Anything could have happened in the span of time with people getting distracted by what happened with Guin and Annie, telepathic communication without detection was more than possible.

Guin and Annie
The door led to what looked like a large field of sorts, a large flower field. It seemed almost peaceful and calm there, for the moment anyway. A second later though, and they'd see Jean step up next to them. "Figured it would be easier to potentially help you from this side of things. She either hasn't noticed I'm here or doesn't care, either option is better than nothing. Though this is honestly not a place that I expected to see given the chaos going on in her mind..." she said to them. Though they'd see that Jean wasn't the only other person in this place that they'd see.

Farther ahead sitting on the ground they'd see a young girl, couldn't be more than 8 years old from what they could tell, with long somewhat curly red hair. She didn't seem to notice them, and was currently making a flower crown.

Well, being invisible kind of sucked. But hey, at least everyone else actually ignored her entirely and that was okay with her for the most part. Problem was that people then didn't seem to think that she was around for whatever reason. She had seen the message from her sister, and had actually gone inside with everyone else into Coulson's office, and kept to herself and silent as others starting going off with regards to the announcement or whatever that Coulson was saying. Of course therapy was now a requirement, so that was not something she wanted to deal with, but eh, if it helped her figure out how to turn the invisibility off that would be fantastic.

Some people were excited, others were seemingly pissed at what was going on, personally she didn't care. Actually she very much didn't care about the contest at all. If she had her way she wouldn't even be there and participating in it. But she kind of was forced into it whether she wanted to or not, so she figured, even if no one could see her and might be surprised to hear her voice seemingly appear out of nowhere, she was going at least voice her very brief opinion on things. "I don't really care too much about what team I'm on or how everyone wants things arranged, or whatever we end up doing..." she spoke up from her little corner of the room and somewhat grateful though at this point that no one had run into her at all yet.

She was freaking out.

There was no other way to put it. She had lost of track of time when it came to going to Coulson's office trying to solve the problem as to what had even happened. Trying to figure out what was going on, or if there was even a problem, she hadn't even really told Andy about her watch shorting out, or the fact that when she tried to call her mom for ideas on what could be the issue with it, she got radio silence. Nothing at all, no response or anything. It was as if there was now a bubble around this reality, and she was stuck unable to go home. Or even to actually contact that reality at all.

Zari had been taking her watch and phone apart for what seemed like the hundredth time at this point, trying to find a way to punch out of this world and to go home. When she put it all back together the time blazed on it, and now she realized that she was incredibly late getting to that meeting or whatever it was that people wanted to call it. She raced out of her dorms and was basically running there. Mr. Eyeball was flying after her trying to seemingly calm her down about whatever was going on.

"01011010 01100001 01110010 01101001 00101100 00100000 01100011 01100001 01101100 01101101 00100000 01100100 01101111 01110111 01101110 00101100 00100000 01001001 00100111 01101101 00100000 01110011 01110101 01110010 01100101 00100000 01101001 01110100 00100000 01101001 01110011 00100000 01100111 01101111 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01110100 01101111 00100000 01100010 01100101 00100000 01101111 01101011 01100001 01111001 00101110."

Du sier det, men helvete braker løs og jeg er strandet her og kan ikke reise hjem i det hele tatt. Noe rart skjer og jeg må finne ut av det, så det hjelper ikke i det hele tatt å fortelle meg at jeg skal roe meg ned!" she responded back to him, and after a few moments, she reached the door to the office just in time to watch Leah go storming out of it, wondering what was up with that. Before she walked through the door, she took a deep breath to at least mildly fake everything being okay, before she stepped through the door. "Sorry for being late, but well, what did I miss?"

Janelle followed along after the others to the arena. She was fine with any sort of option that Kristin mentioned, whether it go two on two or just paired up for sparring. They eventually reached the area, and just sort of nodded her head when Kristin suggested they just pair off and spar that way. "Dat wahrks fine wit me," she commented with a bit of a shrug. This was going to be a fun sort of thing to do.

She wandered over to the weapons, and grabbed a staff to use, since it worked out the best for her to use that, even though she'd be fine with a few different weapons. It was definitely the one she was most comfortable with, given her own staff doubling as her cane to more easily move around and all. Janelle readied herself to spar, trying hard to more or less filter out the sounds of others and focused, though she was more of waiting for Isaac to make a move first, namely since that would help her pin point where he is compared to others.

"Oh? Well, it only takes a few moments, about ten seconds to charge up the shot necessary," the scientist responds with regards to how long it takes to charge a shot.

"So ten seconds to charge it up, which means we'd have to try and line it up we'd have to start it firing before we actually want to... But Avery's suggestion might make that a bit easier, give us a bigger window to do it... But sometimes tech and magic don't work so not sure how well that'll work out..." Lance commented, thinking about what they could possibly do.

"As for how it works, well that is not such a simple idea or an explanation. See because when the entity bonds with a person, they merge and essentially become entangled. So the only way to potentially separate the two by force would be to separate them on a molecular level."

"So it basically rips them apart?"

"Exactly."

"That sounds painful... And also like there could be so many things to go wrong with it."

"We had to develop a potential way to even attempt to do something like that. Painful? Certainly. Potential side effects that we don't know of? Most likely, however it also is the best potential solution to separate them without killing the host, which from what seems to be discussed here would be the preferred option I take it?"

"Yeah, that would be the preferred choice." He knew that if all else failed, if the device did end up killing Mary, then they wouldn't have to deal with the potential destruction of everything. But that was not exactly still something he wanted to happen. At least if it was avoidable.

Why would I wish to aid you Runa? Things seem to be much more interesting this way, was the only response she got from Loki. The way he spoke made it seem like he wasn't super likely to help them.

New Orleans Botanical Gardens

Rogue walked over to Guin when she offered her hand to let her use her powers with a shrug, before she tapped on her hand, not really grabbing onto it, and Guin would feel slightly dizzy for a moment afterwards, but it was apparent that Rogue took care to not drain too much from her. "If we're gonna try something best to do it quick then," she ended up saying.

Chrysi for some reason decided against saying much more of anything, actually she sort of just sat down in the bubble shield that Ed had formed around them, and wasn't doing much of anything at all.

When Guin (with Annie and Rogue attempting to help her) tried to stun her though, nothing happened, at all. Instead she'd hear a voice in her head, (Annie would hear the voice too) You shouldn't mess with the minds of others, it's rude.

To those around them, Annie and Guin would instantly seemingly fall to the ground, Rogue would somewhat stumble backwards, but seems she managed to get out, barely anyway. That was probably a not good thing to happen to just take out two people, while Chrysi was seemingly doing absolutely nothing at all but sitting there. To the pair though, they'd seemingly find themselves (together at least) in a bit of an empty void. It was grey in color, and they seemed to be the only two around that they could see.

But even with that, Guin and surprisingly Annie would be able to hear Pietro's voice, but it sounded like it was through a bad radio, full of static and the loudness was going in and out for the words. ...Are---okay? were the only words they'd easily be able to make out from the interference.

Outside of that though, Chrysi seemed to contemplate what Jaclyn had said and shrugged a bit, finally saying something else for the moment. "I don't have to tell you my reasonings for anything," she said with a bit of a smile.

Pietro though was not thrilled, at all. He tried to reach out mentally to Guin but it was not exactly working out too well with some sort of interference. But that, he had to tell himself, was the least of their issues. Chrysi decided to just not do anything. That was the concerning part. She let herself sit in the bubble now, doing absolutely nothing.

"...Um... Why is she just sitting there?' he ended up asking, not super caring if she heard him or anything at all at this point. "She could break out, she could teleport to anywhere in the universe and probably out somewhere into space... So why is she choosing to sit there and do nothing?"

Janelle thought about the invitation about going to the arena for sparring now. Isaac had mentioned potentially going there and a few other places, she wasn't entirely sure what would be better now. She had more of hesitantly agreed to go to the strawberry fields because it seemed like it would be nice, not necessarily since it was the best option or anything like that. Now there were others talking about going there, and thinking on it that might be more fun to do with more people.

"Actually, I dink I change me mend," she said to Isaac, after hearing the invite from Kristin and Andy, "Sparrin sounds like it might be fun wit mahre people. I dink taggin alahng wit dem to de arena would be fun," she finally ended up saying with a bit of a smile that was directed towards Kristin and Andy.

Janelle thought about the suggestions and ideas that Isaac gave her, before she responded, "Goin to de strawberry fields might be fun." She wasn't too sure what else to really do, and that was at least fairly calming for the most part. Sure training was fun and all, but that seemed to be what just about everyone was doing constantly.

Her attention shifted a bit when she heard Kristin say her name, and then she heard Andy also start talking to her. "I'm alright, what about you two? What are you guys up to?" she asked the two of them. Sure heading to the strawberry fields would be fun, but she was a bit curious as to what the other two were heading off to do.

Zari and Andy

When She-Hulk approached Andy and asked for the number of a parent or guardian, Andy looked at Zari. "Uh, I'm with her." She indicated Zari for She-Hulk. This was awkward. She hadn't put her mom down as a parent due to her being stuck in a doll, and since Zari's parents had recommended her to the school Andy had just put their names down for contact information. Also, Andy wasn't certain how long they could get away with having two Mary Sue's in the room. She was concerned about what might happen soon when the other Andy and Zari came up. Why they hadn't yet, was beyond her.

Zari had been slightly hoping to just be able to deal with the time travel issue, but figured it'd be better to get this over with now. "You're phones won't work, here we'll use mine," she said, pulling out a phone that was specifically wired to be able to make calls across realities, and dialed up her mom, figuring she'd be most likely to answer. "Hei mor," she said, switching languages to greet her mom when she answered.

"Zari? Is something wrong? Isn't it the middle of the night there?" came the response, as Zari put the phone on speaker. Though to anyone who could hear it, the voice on the other end sounded a lot like She-Hulk's voice.

"Well not sure how to explain as I'm still kind of confused what happened considering I was kind of out of it for like, the first part of it soooooo. Just that another student tried to kill us."

"...Wait what happened?"

Andy shifted from foot to foot as Zari spoke with her mother. She hoped this would be resolved quickly. She gave a small half-hearted smile to She-Hulk. At least she seemed to be accepting that Zari's parents were Andy's guardians. It'd be weird to explain things and she didn't think she could. Zari might have to and while Zari was very smart sometimes her explanations assumed too much of the listener. But also people were very bad about asking follow-up questions or really listening to her. She remembered how back on Genosha the others didn't even believe Zari. "I can explain some of it." Andy said when she heard Zari's mom ask what had happened.

"Hello, this is Andy. Basically, there is this other student, uh, Ed. Anyway we went into a program he made in these tanks, uh I think they are called the System or something." Andy didn't remember what the Framework was called. "While inside he started messing with the program and trying to make us die. Zari wasn't allowed in cause she can manipulate the program from inside, but I was, uh able to get out...and together we freed everyone." Boy was that a simplified version of what had happened but there was a LOT that Andy didn't want She-Hulk, or the others to overhear. Like their time travel...her killing someone...her actually having died in the program. It was much easier to just give the simplified version for now. If Zari's parents wanted the full story later she could tell them.

"That's what I said, just a much shorter version! And not mentioning the freeing everyone part."

"That sounds insane..." Sparky responded, before pausing for a bit of a moment. "Might take a little bit since figure if I take off to head over there your father is going to be annoyed since he's not here. I'll give him a call after this conversation. But really, I partially wonder if you try to stay out of trouble, or are you a magnet for trouble like your father."

"I don't go looking for trouble!" Zari protested, looking a little annoyed at that comment.

Andy shrugged. "People like details." Andy turned to She-Hulk "Her mom is on her way." She hoped that'd be enough to satisfy her.

"We still need to do that thing." Andy said glancing at the extra Mary Sue.

She said a quick goodbye as her mom said it'd be a little while since she was going to wait to head over until her dad was able to go too, and she looked at the issue. "Yup, call done, but since this isn't the craziest thing that has happened in my life not sure if I'm going to be in too much trouble, aaaaaaanyway, got to go do something, so bye!" she said to She-Hulk, before she grabbed Andy's arm and started dragging her along, and she grabbed the arm of the extra Mary Sue and started heading off.

Andy smiled and waved. She was holding back laughter at the comment from Zari. She was definitely underselling the weirdness that was her life. She let herself get dragged. They had to fix the current weirdness still.

Chandilar: Shi'ar Throneworld

Runa's spell would go off seemingly without a bit of a hitch, but there didn't seem to be a response from Loki. Either he was busy doing something else (which was it really a good idea to think of what he could be doing?) or he was completely ignoring her ask. Both were fairly viable options given the last few interactions that they have had with Loki not going too well.

"Oh it is more durable than that, of course it is fire resistant. That was the first thing they ensured when crafting it. More of it's structural stability isn't as great as they would like, meaning it could likely get crushed pretty easy by heavy weights, and we aren't sure if it'd even survive what it is built for. I suppose something fragile to us is a bit different for you all." Xandra responded with a shrug.

Eventually they would come to a rather large chamber with various machinery and technology lying around. What each machine did was anyone's guess. However there was one that Xandra was walking straight towards. It was decently large, looking to be about 7 feet tall and it looked to be almost like a massive laser of sorts. The base seemed essentially like a really really large tripod for it.

"Majestrix, I see we have visitors," someone said, walking over.

"Yes, well it seems they are wishing to test this out for us."

"I see, well as you can tell, it is a decently large machine, the main thing is you likely would want to plant this down in one area and draw the Phoenix to it, as it doesn't obviously work to go chase the person around with it."

"So to make it the most effective shot we'd have to set a trap, sounds like fun. Not sure what would be the best sort of lineup or place to do that for."

"So how would you activate it? Not to mention aiming it?" Mira asked, figuring it would be probably for the best for them to ask how the thing works and to maybe create a plan to use it after getting that knowledge to plan for it.

"Fairly simple, the control panel on it can be used to aim it towards your target, though if you are feeling less daring, aiming and activating it can also be done from this," was the response, as they held out a computer pad, "Though it is a bit more difficult to get the correct aim from this as opposed to actually triggering it on the device."

"...Well sounds like we'd want to be as accurate as possible with this though both options are a good thing to have though... Figuring out how best to line this up properly and where, since if we miss that much energy could cause some damage if I had to figure."

New Orleans Botanical Gardens

"Who says that I need or want anything? Aside from maybe to mess with all of you. Not to mention what you are suggesting to do also is not as simple as you would think."

"Him? Non, mon amie, you cannot trust him!" Gambit's eyes narrowed. "Chère don't need dat."

"Remy maybe right now we shouldn' be really talkin' bout that," Rogue muttered, since the situation was clearly going downhill. Now was probably not the time to get into the arguments over why doing anything with regards to Mr. Sinister was a bad idea.

"Clearly we're all on the same page as to who you're thinking of. Not to mention any potential price might not make it worth it, that'd be assuming I'd agree to it, which honestly just no. Especially since I'd probably just get thrown in prison by you all anyway. So why bother? As mentioned before. Way more fun to mess with all of you anyway. Plus can get back at her for trying to get rid of me, that also adds to the fun now doesn't it."

Fire started dancing around her fingertips as she looked at everyone else around her. "So many different things can go so very wrong with your idea of potential solutions to the predicament that has kind of been ignored for a while. Love how it is only a major concern once some insane amount of power is involved."

With a flick of her hand, fire headed out in a burst. Pietro managed to get Guin out of the way, but not much in the way of anyone else. Ed's shields managed to protect people, or at least dampen some of the fire, but the fire burst out, resulting in several people being targeted and getting attacked. Unfortunately he wasn't able to throw up a bubble to protect himself as fire charged right at him, however there was a slight glow of pink light coming from the amulet that Klara had gifted him, and he'd find that the fire didn't seem to do any damage.

As for the others, Jaclyn would be completely unharmed, Ed's bubble protecting her rather easily from the attacks, and Annie would as well be perfectly fine. Perry would get a bit of a graze attack, feeling the heat from the flames, but nothing too horrible. Bethany unfortunately would get hit pretty hard, Ed hadn't been able to shield her, and Pietro hadn't been able to pull her out of the way. Seemed like Chrysi didn't like her attempts at an attack. The fire would hit her throwing her backwards, causing her to land fairly hard and have a few burns on her body. Before more fire could hit her though, the flames were pulled away from her and sent flying straight up in the sky. Jean having used her own telekinesis to redirect the fire instead.

"I don't think talking her down is really going to work..."

"I did give you all a chance to just leave, though I knew you probably wouldn't do it, I at least offered. This is going to be so much fun though in the end I think."

The question as to what it is that she was wanting to do now and what her favorite thing to do was, that was a bit of a not so easy question to answer. Personally she didn't have too much of a preference as to what it was that they did, personally just sort of being on the beach or whatever would be fine with her. Staying here at the beach was okay, but if Isaac wanted to do something else, she was fine either way.

"I dahn't really 'ave a favahrite din to do, I enjoy mahst dings, though stell somewhat prefer anythin dat isn't overly loud. But if you want to peck sahmethin out, I'm fine wit whatever, whether dat's stayin 'ere ahr goin off to do sahmethin else," she ended up saying with a bit of a shrug. Wherever they go or whatever they did, she personally didn't care one way or the other.
