The park was always so beautiful at this time of evening. The way the setting sun played through the foliage, the changing of the bird songs, animals and people going to bed, only for others to awaken. It was the time of day they usually felt the most awake. Right now, he was out for a stroll, and feeling awake enough. He was usually a sleepy person, though.

The presence of a dark elf interrupted his mental wandering. The individual was minding his own business, so Aiko ultimately decided to pay it no mind. Still, though, a dark elf. Here? They were far from the mountain and the castle. Just as he saw, in the shadows nearby... A woman, staring at the dark elf with great concern. And hiding. That simply wouldn't do, the woman was beautiful and he could only imagine why she was hiding from the dark elf.

Aiko turned to the elf, deciding to send him away. "Hail." Did that give away his age? "Enjoying the roses?" He gave a kind smile, and placed a hand lightly on the dark elf's shoulder, pointing him off into another area of the park. He attentively, subtly, brushed a thumb across some exposed skin by his neck, "the scents from that way are particularly pleasant, you should experience it. It might bring you good dreams tonight."

We'll see what that woman says. The commander took a moment to argue with himself before wandering off into the park, taking the advice. Aiko watched him walk off before deciding he was far enough and turning to the woman kneeling in the shadows, "hello? Was that guy bothering you?" The woman was absolutely stunning, but...

Where had he gotten this feeling before? It was familiar, but it had been so long, he couldn't... Remember... Ah well. Probably nothing.

Aiko believes firmly that everyone should be allowed to rest in their sleep, and in their dreams. They take their work seriously, when they do it, though they tend to be more concerned with relaxing in the park or wherever she's staying. She'll readily tend to her host's needs, making tea or food.

Aiko is personable, but prefers the company of single individuals or small groups. Large parties are not their scene, Aiko is more lazy than selfish, and a real sweetheart, willing to at least take care of her host, despite being lazy.

Peaceful and patient as a cup of tea, Aiko is brave enough to stand with someone through their nightmares. Within a dream, there is little they fear, but in the waking world, they have much less confidence in front of danger. However, social confidence is a mark of many succubi, and it is something Aiko does not lack. They'd sooner talk their way out of things.

Aiko is smart enough to not be easily fooled. They're not a manipulative individual, but very likeable. Doesn't often make jokes, but enjoys a good laugh. They're usually drowsy, but can rouse themselves if needed. Sleep is their domain; they're very awake in dreams. They like… puns.

Dreams will only bear fruit if life continues, but death has its part in things, as well.

Aiko drifts from place to place, often surfing from couch to couch and offering protection from nightmares, and sometimes a bed companion.

History:
Aiko was left to an orphanage in Domoros. The orphanage, mistaking Aiko for beastkin, brought them in, but soon realized just what had passed through their door when they began appearing in the dreams of those around them. Out of fear, the orphanage kept them hidden away. It wasn't until they were a teenager that they broke out and ran away.

They ran into their mother, who taught them what they were. The reunion was not a happy one, and was short-lived. It certainly answered why their body had started changing in other ways, even their mother had been surprised.

Disliking the dreams of demons, having been brought to try and live among them, Aiko instead opted to blend in with lighter society. That went well enough, until The Lich started throwing everything out of order. Which was fine, who needs a bunch of rules anyway, but he was being a right jerk about it. The extra nightmares going around made it easier to find people to put them up for the day, at least. Walking around at night meant she could search the city for dreams or nightmares. It worked well.

They can also enter nearby dreams or dreams of people referenced in a current dream, presuming they are dreaming. Perhaps due to the influence of her unknown father, unlike a typical succubus, Aiko exchanges energy with her subject, like a plant exchanging gases with the air. They get less sustenance from physical intimacy.
Shape shifting - Aiko has a limited ability to shape shift, including their sex. Eye color, ears, tail, weight or general height do not change.

The Stars Are Just New Friends You Haven't Met Yet

I'd be looking for either a 1x1 partner or a co-GM for a small group RP. I tend to have one primary character and maybe some supporting characters, but I can do more. Let's get right into it.

The galaxy has already faced the apocalypse. Much of civilization had been destroyed in the war against an unknown force of horrors. Not some strange, interdimensional horrors that defy logic or reason, no. These horrors were familiar, these horrors were flesh and bone contorted and stretched together with machinery to become horrendous abominations of destruction and violence.

The horrors came, and at the final hour of the Terran people, the apocalypse vanished. None remain to remember why, or even to remember the threat, but fragments of the doom that came remain. Parts and pieces touched by the taint, whole machines just waiting to wake and begin the mindless slaughter yet again.

Amidst the peace, obtained by ancient powers in a wild gambit, hope had been given a form. A new kind of material, crystalized energy, had been left behind in the wake of disaster. The substance would come to be known as Aevon, and it would power the rise of Terrans back into space and beyond.

A message left with the crystal would drive them. The apocalypse would return and once again threaten all that lives. It was up to Terra to unite the galaxy against the threat that would one day return.

There's all sorts of options. I've left out some details, as well, because there's a lot of details, and I don't want to drown people so quickly.

Personality: Carina is a very dry young lady, to-the-point but also with a sense of humor that can be hard to catch because of her delivery and mannerisms. She keeps to herself, mostly, and can seem cold, but she's just looking out for herself.
Brief Backstory: Carina grew up with an artifact-hunting dad and a doting mother. She idolized her dad for the cool equipment he got to use, and the neat-o artifacts he sometimes brought home, though he sold most of them. Once, he brought her back a shiny, pretty, but otherwise unassuming crystal. Well, eventually, when she was about fifteen or so, her cool dad never came home. It took her about a year to figure it out, by which time she'd already started working to take care of her depressed mother. When her mother died, she decided it was time to try her own hand at hunting.
Skills:
Computer "Magic" - Carina has adapted previously existing systems to interface with her magic, using the crystal substance. Even without this interface, she's a skilled computer scientist.
Machine Operating - From a lifetime of playing games and using interfaces, Carina is a natural when it comes to operating most machines. Besides the fact that many things are labeled, certain things have certain conventions that tend to be followed in their design. She's also a decent technician.
Home Cooking - Having had to live on her own, at times on a tight budget, Carina has learned to cook for herself to save money. She's pretty good, too.
Gardening - She's gotten herself a decent green thumb since she started gardening. She uses the produce in her cooking.
Abilities:
Crystal Interface - Using the crystals she's been growing, Carina has been developing unique systems allowed by the exotic properties of the crystal. This includes a responsive AI she's programmed into her core crystal.
Hardlight Manifestation - Linked to the way she interfaces with her crystals, Carina can manifest hardlight into various shapes. She can use the manifestations as a shield or weapon, or for mundane purposes like plates and tools.
Equipment:
Crystal Garden - When Carina noticed the crystal she'd found was growing, she planted it in her yard, and started a garden around it.
Core Crystal - One of the fruits in her garden didn't grow as a fruit, but some kind of dense crystal. This one was particularly pretty, so she kept it as a necklace and used it as a nexus core.
Drones - Carina has taken scrap parts she found from various hunts and cobbled them together into a few remote control drones. The crystal she grows has turned out to be a useful material for filling in gaps.
