Cole would make sure she wouldn't, at least if he sees her being alone. He was a lonely fifteen year old at one point as well. He might be a bit of a dick who only thinks with it but he has sympathy at least :p

Cole's idea of love is more...deviant, than what others may see as love. And Cole has gotten love from quite a few campers as is already ;p he may just be in the lead.

the possible interactions with your own characters, you'll find that he actually sounds pretty awesome.
Cole and Damian by far are the edgiest characters. One of them disregards social norms while one doesn't understand them. And I'm sure with those tentacles women will be all over him, another thing him and Cole would have in common ;p it all works out.
