Black Clover: Fool's Arcana

This is a writing exercise I used to do and decided to bring it back. Figured I would go ahead and post it since I have nothing to do at the moment. These are opinions Hikari has of the cast using OOC information. This is meta-gaming and should be taken with a grain of salt as it has no reflection on how Hikari will interact IC. It’s something to come back to later down the road once relationships have formed, to see the differences between the two.

hikari dumb thoughts

Tristan Goffe: “You don’t find a goal in this life, it comes to you often when you don’t expect it. You’re hard-working and creative. My new world will need craftsmen such as yourself. And if you never find a goal in life, well hey, we’ve always got mine!” (Respect, finds useful)

Albie Finch: “Simple man, simple life, simple goals. Virtually useless, but you deserve a good life still.” (Uninterested)

Solveig Von Brandt: “You’ve been through a lot. We’ve both watched family die, and decided to be better because of it. I will purge this world, and in doing so will help you in your quest to purge this world of deviltry. Fuckin’ mouthful of a name though.” (Respect, finds useful, admiration)

Illios Avalona: “I don’t care if I have to find your mother and father at the same time, I will make that magic useful to me. By any means necessary.” (Envious, finds extremely useful)

Ludo Liszt: “Rough around the edges, but charismatic, smart and handsome. I like you. I think out of everyone, you might be able to understand me best, yet not enough. I doubt your ambitions beyond your family and yourself, but for now our goals may align. You have my blade-erm, my fists. I don’t have a blade.” (Admiration, sympathetic, attracted)

Kreszenz Leichenberg: “There’s nothing I like about you, and I doubt there’s anything you like about me. A wanna-be tyrant disguising herself as wanting to make a better world. That job belongs to me. However, being powerful and ambitious are two great traits I can’t waste. You have my hand in usurping the Clover Kingdom and the rest of the kingdoms in this world. That, however, is where our alliance would end.” (Dislike, respect; finds useful, attracted)

Camilla Azurios: “You dislike people like me who have high ambitions and goals, therefore I feel no need to waste a single second trying to use you or convince you otherwise. Ya’ look good though baby!” (Uninterested)

Kohra Mey: “You’re interesting. You are virtually no use to me in both power or goals, yet I feel I want to keep you around. We both know what it’s like for our childhood to be robbed of family. My goals may not allow me to recreate that, but I wish for you to. Nice eyes, by the way…” (Friendly, sympathetic, attracted, shy)

Parin Kia: “You understand what it’s like to have to fight for survival everyday. Anyone who goes through what we have, has my respect. You have no real goals beyond taking care of the orphanage, and I hope you find one for yourself. I want you to live in my new world where you won’t need a single coin, so until then take half of my payments. In turn, help me create my new world.” (Friendly, Respect; finds useful)

I avoid fireworks like the plague but I’m off work that day, as well as tomorrow and the weekend so nothing should slow down for me. If anything, I’ll be more active.

Likely my last post until the GM update then. I was just going to fade-to-black they walk to the arena floor, but I love chaos and couldn't miss the chance to egg on this stalker. It's getting late here so apologizes for grammar mistakes

Hikari Tahada

“Ouch!” Hikari said as he jokingly rubbed the spot she punched. He noticed the smaller girl trying her best to match his pace, so he purposely slowed his stride. They walked on towards the gates, and he took in her words as they corresponded with the scene ahead of them. That woman, leaving another man to sulk and fantasize. Hikari knew women who played her tricks back home, they were all too common. Women that used their beauty to lure men into set-ups, Vander would use them from time to time. They would sweet-talk whoever owed them money, drop their guard, and Hikari would come in to handle the rest. “I think she’s smarter than she lets on. At the very least, selective.” The image of Camilla's glare flashed in his mind, his only lead that she had more going for herself than beauty, but who would know that besides him? Hikari shrugged. “Or I could be completely wrong and she missed a perfectly good opportunity.”

As focused as he was to be moving forward, he almost didn’t register what Kohra had said. He took about two steps too many before stopping and turning back to Kohra with her hand extended. “Oh, sorry… I’m Hikari. It’s an odd name ‘round here, I know...” He took her hand in his and shook gingerly. In this position Hikari realized this entire time he hadn’t actually looked at the girl. Her hair would have blended in perfectly with a heavy winter’s snow, minus the dirt which added a sort of charm. Hikari was the last person to judge someone’s hair. Her perforate green eyes struck him, and for a moment he found himself lost in her gaze. The shuffling of the crowd is what brought Hikari back to reality, the reality being that he was staring at this girl for entirely too long without saying a word or having a clear reason as to why. He cleared his throat and looked back to their destination, seemingly no care in the world as to what had the crowd unnerved. “Anyway, our good spot…”

Without letting go of Kohra’s hand Hikari proceeded forward and pushed through the amassing crowd of people attempting to enter the arena. He created an easy path to the arena floor, and as soon as they were in the middle Hikari withdrew his hand instantly and shoved them back into his pockets. He stared up at the area where the captains would sit, both to avoid Kohra and ponder what was next. ‘I know I’m not the most talented or trained here, but I have something in me. I know at least one of them will see that. I just need one hand.’

@Xaltwind yeah that's about accurate with Hikari, he's definitely looking to be in the most relaxed environment possible. But like you said, anything can change in that amount of time.
