Random idea, but since it's the season...

If our characters in this game participated in a Secret Santa gift exchange, who would your character gift to, and what would the gift be?
<Snipped quote by Guardian Angel Haruki>

Poor Jub is still exhausted so he got a 9. He don't know what's going on.

Yikes! Poor Jub! ^^"
He's a trooper though...
*Sees this short and becomes confused. https://youtube.com/shorts/ezxdHYbn6Ew?si=RTHVTZIH6rkJr_2Z]*

...Huh?! O_O

*Looks to Agdon Longscarf and this party, and becomes contemplative.*

...Huh. That short is onto something...
Stargaze

Stargaze was concerned when Rudrick excused himself. She looked to Shieldwing when he nudged her wing and she nods at his words about how he was going to make sure he was okay. So, while he went, she followed Skobeloff back to Lazard and Coryn.

The discussion started with the Creeping Violet trying to steal the Stone Samples, and Lazard was blaming Coryn for ignoring the problem. Then it turned to the matter of Coryn's well-being. It turns out the problem at the lab was due to Coryn having issues picking up items with his claws, and not having claws on his wings to do so either. He couldn't use his jaw to pick up the more dangerous ingredients.

While Skobeloff suggested having a Crafter help Coryn, Stargaze tried to think of how she could help. But...with all of the thinking and spacing out that occurred on her part during the discussion, she still ended up with no good ideas. She listened as Skobeloff brought up the point of ignoring problems again and reassuring Coryn that it was better to go to them now, and to not be embarrassed. It was true...Maybe that is something she should take to heart as well...

She blinked, snapping out of her thoughts when Coryn accepted his words, and Skobeloff mentioned going to talk to someone about unicorns. He left quickly.

Stargaze answered Lazard, "Yeah. He did," When Coryn made his comment about Skobeloff, she shrugged and answered, "He is. But, he's also pretty cool. He sees things that others tend to miss,"

She then realized that Skobeloff was still walking off, while she's still there!!!

She panics a little bit, "Oh! I gotta follow him! See you later, Coryn, Lazard!" She then darts out of the room to catch up with Skobeloff, and she calls, "Skobeloff! Wait up!"

It's cool. I apologise if I haven't been giving Stargaze enough to react to.

No worries. ^_^

If anything, that makes it a little easier to respond to now that I've gone through Skobeloff's sections and got a sense of what happened to Stargaze's knowledge at the very least. ^^"
I forgot to mention this yesterday after making my DM Post, but...

@rush99999@XxFellsingxX Feel free to make your rolls requested in your section.
Let me know if you failed your rolls and/or need more content in that section. ^^"
I'll try and get a post up today. Now I just need to read over what happened so far since I last posted...
Sorry for the wait everyone. X_X
Elemental Plane of Air

Ishaan's Palace: Grand Halls and Foyer

Upon exiting the waiting room, Brutrumukk and Jub see that a door in the distance, at the end of a long hallway, is open and ajar. A giant suit of armor has collapsed into a heap in the middle of the hall.

Should the two proceed down the hall, they may or may not notice a few things. Most noticeably, at the end of the hallway directly ahead of the pair of them, a large pair of double doors is open ajar.

Hither

Downfall: Chattering Heads (D5)

Gullop retorts to Zavakri in response to her apology, "You should be sorry! How would you like it if your head was like this?! Huh?!"

A different decaptiated bullywug head hits him with her tongue, stretching out like it's catching a fly.

"Ow!" Gullop yelped indignantly, before the other bullywug head, an elderly noblewoman from the sound of her voice, scolded him,

"Oh quit whining, you oaf! The poor dear apologized! Accept the apology, because you have nobody but yourself to blame!"

Gullop thankfully fell silent after that scolding.

Meanwhile, the scarecrow stands on his perch on the bridge, showing that he's only 3 feet tall, answers Aurora,

"Oh! Yes, I can get you out of Hither and get you to Thither, no problem! But you are right...I do need help myself...I was just telling these guys about it,"

He begins to explain in detail, "You see...While I fled from Thither, I was waylaid by Agdon Longscarf and his goons! They took my original head: The most glorious stag skull anyone has ever laid eyes on! Because of them, I now have this stupid thing for a head," He points at the gourd for a head as he says "Stupid Thing".

He explains, "I'm not sure where it is now exactly, but I have seen Agdon and his crew take things and people, you included, to Bavlorna's Hut! So it might be somewhere in there! If you can find my skull and give it back to me, I'll guide you to Thither,"

He then lowered his head, and also explains, "I'd go in there myself, but I'm too scared of those Mean Ol' Hags. I can't do much to fight or defend myself from them,"

He then turns to Gabriel in response to his lost item, "I'm sorry, I don't know where your set of dice is, but chances are good that they may be in Bavlorna's Hut as well. I hope you find them,"

Aaliyah

Aaliyah listened to the shopkeeper as he answered her question and informed her and the group that they weren't in Tir Na Og but in Tradegate, the place closest to the location in question. When the shopkeeper, Melvin, asked if they were heading that way, she nodded yes in response. She does shake his hand in greeting when he moves to do so, and she answers his greeting, "It's nice to meet you, Melvin. My name is Aaliyah," After Bruno ruffles his feathers and hoots, she introduces him, "And this is Bruno,"

She looked at Mariel as she asked Melvin for a recent map of the area, and nodded in agreement. She raised an eyebrow when the goblin who followed them here declared that she could navigate the area. Beigeiros took it upon himself to ask the goblin where she got the compass in hand. Upon hearing her answer, Aaliyah resisted the urge to facepalm. So she stole the compass?!

While she was glad to hear that Melvin had maps to help them navigate this area, something she and her friends need, she was unhappy to see that the goblin was unwilling to return the compass to its rightful owner, and even offered to take more things off of his Hans. Both she and Bruno narrowed their eyes at the goblin. A mental conversation took place between the two of them.

Aaliyah listens to Melvin as he informs the group, and after hearing the price for the map, Aaliyah immediately moves to fish out a gold piece from her coin purse, while Bruno prepares himself by shifting his talons from his perch on Aaliyah's shoulder, and lowering itself like a cat. He stares intently at the compass, like it is a mouse to hunt down. Aaliyah can see that Melvin's suggestion wasn't going to work on Garnet, which meant that the plan was a go.

While Garnet gives her response to Melvin, Bruno moves to carry out the plan! The form of the owl is ideal for this task: The feathers in the wings allow the owl to move silently and stealthily as it strikes! It flies past Garnet, scoops up the compass in its talons and flies over to Melvin to drop the compass in his hands.

After that, Bruno flies back to Aaliyah's shoulder and gives a smug look to Garnet.

Aaliyah speaks up to Melvin, straightening herself and putting on a persona of leadership as she heard from numerous stories, "I apologize, Melvin. This goblin is a stranger who followed me and my friends here. We do not condone theft,"

She then moves to him, and gives him a gold piece, "Mariel and Beigeiros are helping me with my mission, so the obligation of payment falls to me. I'm also willing to provide information regarding that part of the Outlands as well,"

I think that can be worked around as well. In mythology, deities gain new domains all the time. For example, Apollo being a sun god and Artemis being a moon goddess are actually fairly recent additions. Leaves it open for the cleric to perhaps learn more and interpret their deity in different ways.

That's a really good point! It certainly is possible for deities, as characters in a story, to have more aspects to themselves than what mortals might know. So a cleric learning about those new aspects and informing the rest of their peers about what they learned can lead to some interesting events.

<Snipped quote by Guardian Angel Haruki>After all, as shown in the Planescape setting, belief can be surprisingly powerful.

Er...I think that depends on the situation. In some situations, belief is not enough and facts have to be faced. The example in the quote below is actually a good example of this too!

Say there is a cult worshipping the fiend taking on a heavenly disguise. The cult believes this figure is going to save them somehow, but instead the fiend uses/harvests them for its own purposes. I don't think any form of belief on the Cultist's part is going to convince the fiend to become Good all of a sudden.

<Snipped quote by Guardian Angel Haruki>(tbf I do agree with the warlock thing. It is the most difficult to work around, though not impossible. For example, a fiend taking on a more heavenly disguise when offering their pact for the first time... still frustrating though, and I do wish they hadn't ruled it like that xP)

Thank you!!! I'm glad I'm not alone in that frustration. XD
