I'm wary of nothin XD Kharne is a good tanky guy (the only thing kinda scary are tank busters.)
That's not very scary...
Kharne listened while he walked as Quinn explained Dolton's code for helping blighted people. Well he technically fit, being unfairly treated given his race. Kharne's huge thick tail swept towards the rogue lazily, a little harmless test of the boys agility while they moved and he walked on his hands. It wasn't long before the reached the war room and Grey almost immediately began to talk to the lizardman.

The paladin-like man explained the situation, which earned him a shrug. "I don't mind going, just to get a feel for this new world." He replied before folding his arms across his chest while Grey told him about either staying or leaving. "Personally I'd rather not stay here, or in the village outside. If there's a forest type area nearby I can make a shack or something there. Doesn't hurt to be nearby and help if needed." Kharne said. He was taking a sort of middle ground. Not staying in the immediate vicinity but not shying away from helping if asked.
Kharne gave a derisive snort. "By blighted you mean those who aren't human, right?" He questioned before turning his attention to the suddenly appearing cleric. They could probably teleport anywhere they wanted within the guild zone. "Just Kharne, if I wanted a title I'd have joined a guild." He stated before tilting his head slightly. "I'll give him my answer when we get to the war room." He stated, keeping things simple.

Quinn piped up, getting the lizardmans attention once more. "Might as well come along, he might have orders for you." Kharne said before going to follow the cleric. He honestly had no real desire to stay within the castle nor the village surrounding it. He had always been a nature person, even in the real world his work was always somewhere out in the wilderness. He followed the cleric, his long stride allowing him to keep up easily despite his unfamiliarity with the surroundings.
Kharne just shook his head on the matter of pride, the smaller npc wouldn't understand what he meant and he didn't have the patience to deal with the apparent youths mindset. The kid had been programmed to talk and think like this and it was possibly impossible for him to think any other way. Never mind the fact it wasn't his place to try and re-educate the kid, Grey possibly could but he doubted that would ever happen. Ah crap now he's going on about a previous guild leader.

He groaned audibly at the mention of bureaucracy. "That's why I never got into politics...I'd rather cave in their ass dragging faces than sit around and talk things out for weeks or months..." He muttered more to himself than Quinn. "As for having a say, I'm an outsider. I'm not a part of your empire. Do you really think any of your allies or friends would listen to me? Maybe if I were human, but I'm not." He explained. It wasn't hard to see distaste or distrust in others. Especially those in the empire type mindset, why hide what you were thinking when you were the vast majority?
Asura wobbled a bit as he looked over at another slime. A deep green color and it also spoke, asking if he spoke. "Barely." He gurgled out. That word didn't sound as strained, it seemed with practice he could regain full sentences and not this broken nonsense. After he spoke more goblins showed up, making him a little more wary. Three or four versus one wasn't good odds if things got nasty. Three versus two was a little more even given the slimes tanky nature and the readily available herbs.

But the goblin that had surrendered was trying to shoo them off, saying they'd be late for hunting. What did goblins hunt? What being would lead the hunt? Turning to the other slime he gave what resembled a shrug. "Should avoid gobs. Hunt bad." He garbled out. With that he collected as many herbs as he could, he probably wouldn't be able to come back here until this hunt was over. He couldn't camouflage either, red and orange didn't blend with brown and gray. The green could possibly pass itself off as moss or something.

The green one spoke again, a word at a time. "Train in what?" He questioned, following along after gathering his herbs up until his 'pockets' were filled. It seemed the green one was spitting rocks at another rock using water pressure. Tilting his head he went over to the target and put himself in the way. Taking a couple hits before moving back out of the way. He had Physical Defense ONE which logically told him he could make it better. Probably by taking hits if his gamers sense rung true.
Asura was mildly surprised the goblin backed down so quickly. The green child sized being dropped its rock...knife? and held its hands up in 'surrender' before starting to approach slowly. This COULD be a trick considering goblins were always shown as cruel tricksters and their fighting tactics always seemed kind of cheaty. So he kept his guard up until the goblin put some herbs down in front of him. 'Blinking' he looked down at the herbs, then back to the goblin.

Said goblin spoke, making a portion of Asura's goo slide up as if he were raising an eyebrow. Clearly a human gesture. Behind him was a patch of the herbs and he could only hold so many within his body. Shaking his body in a negative he started to work his 'mouth'. "Don't. Need." He burbled out, the voice was rough and liquidy and clearly strained. Trying to talk while being pure goo was difficult.
Asura's 'eyes' lit up when a little message appeared mentally. Healing herbs! Figures, so the crystals were probably to help along the magical entities in the cave. He had viewed each creature he could be extensively so it'd make sense that there's be health and magic in the noob cave they were born in. Despite feeling almost fine, just a minor stinging sensation, he ate an herb just to see what would happen aside from being healed.

After eating one he sucked another into his body, being mindful to not actually devour it. He was about to go check to see if his assumption on the crystals were right when a goblin popped up and glared at him. The child-sized creature was clearly trying to intimidate him. A slight shift and his mouth opened wide in a 'toothy' grin. His 'head' had a mouth with what looked like sharp and jagged teeth. That maw looked capable of engulfing the goblins head but the pair seemed to keep their distance. If the goblin came for him he'd strike back like he had with that wisp.
Asura was unsurprised that the wisp was still alive, he had chosen the tanky monster of the lot so his damaging capability wasn't very high. As the wisp shot another mana orb, not that he knew what its attacks were, he surged through it. The bolt of energy struck his body but he pushed through and enveloped the downed wisp in his gelatinous body. With a harsh movement he focused on crushing the smaller creature in his body. The light the wisp gave off fluttered briefly before dimming until it was put out completely.

Whatever was left of the wisp he kept within to digest. No point spitting out food, even if it might not be particularly nutritious. A brief shake of his jello body and he was back to moving towards the pond. Whatever had been happening before had finished up and two of the participants were sharing a wisp corpse. There wasn't any actual verbal conversation, just lots of gesticulations and primal noises.

"Shrugging" he went to the odd plants he had wanted to poke around at. His knowledge of video games told him they'd be useful since this was a 'starting area'. With that small thought in mind he plucked a few, three, of the herbs. Maybe his slime body would knot what they were? Or would he be just as clueless as anyone else?
Asura wasn't the fastest being in the cave, having to use his liquid form to push himself along with the help of pseudopods to keep him on his path. A soft whoosh and sizzle interrupted him though making him glance up. A ball of magic, he had to guess magic, was coming right for him. His first human instinct was to duck down, his slime instinct was to drop down into a shallow puddle so the mana orb passed by harmlessly.

The trail behind the orb led his 'eyes' to a wisp. An agitated blurble came from him as he surged upward. Using the force of coming back into his self made form he surged up to try and hit it with his sludgy mass. The wisp was much smaller than him but he honestly had no idea WHAT it was actually made of. He could pass through it for all he knew but it was better than just sitting there and taking its abused.
